On July 30th I went in for a dark blue solid color on dark brown hair and within 3 days after wash, that’s including using special color shampoo & conditioner hair products as suggested by stylist. The blue color got all over my neckline that prolonged for a few days and destroyed Acrylic pearl white nails only had them for a day. The color washed out less than a week, I called to make an appointment with same stylist but could only be seen in two weeks. 😫 The last time I had it done with same stylist on 7/16 it lasted two weeks and it came out perfect!

Im so happy that I decided to go to Gadabout (for the first time), to get my hair cut. Marie was so patient and great to work with, and explained different techniques and styles for me. It was a fun experience, my hair feels and looks pretty and I will be back for sure.Thanks!

Look no further for all your hair needs! The best colorists, blow drys etc. I fly in regularly to get my hair done here. Also the most knowledgable and kind team.

Ive been going to Gadabout for about 20 years. LOVE IT! Even if the person I see is not available, everyone is amazing, from the customer service staff scheduling appointments to assistants washing hair, everyone. Theyve worked in family members whove come into town at the last minute. So helpful. Ive been going to the same location but Ive had family members go to other locations and its always the same- awesome!

Ive gone here 4 times in the last 2 years and had a different stylist each time. (Anisa, Claire, Mariella, and Victoria.)They have all done an amazing job on my hair. Im grateful for the time they take to understand what I wanted and explain what theyll do to my hair. This place is definitely worth it!

We came for a prom style and makeup and we are thrilled with the results! Thry took great care to make sure we were happy and our stylist had plenty of help and advice to make sure it all worked out.

I can’t say enough about Victoria and the whole salon team! Without realizing that pregnancy and childbirth would also change my hair, I came in for a color correction and haircut. It took 6 hours, 3 treatments, and the whole team to get us where we wanted to be. During this time I never saw anyone get frustrated or annoyed with me or each other. There was a sense of camaraderie between staff and compassion towards me and any other client impacted by the situation. Again, I came in to get another person’s work corrected and not once was a bad word spoken about their work. I felt as though we were on the journey together to have me feel and look beautiful. Opting to go for a big change with a pixie cut Victoria was amazing to help navigate the change and teach me how to style it. Two weeks and one wedding later, I still loved my hair and experience at Gadabout- especially Victoria, Paloma, Alena, Anita, and Anna!

Everyone here is super friendly and accommodating. I absolutely love coming here.

On March 25th I had an appointment with a new talent for a cut, gloss and partial highlights. My hair was not cut straight and the sides were different. I spent another 1.5 hour there today getting my cut corrected. When I got there, I asked for a manager. She reassured me that the stylist that was correcting my haircut would be compensated. She offered nothing to compensate me for my time. Only when I ask she offer me a hair treatment. I expect more from a high-end salon. I didnt feel valued. They didnt respect my time.

I had an amazing time at this salon! I haven’t had my hair cut in at least 4 years and was terrified to do so but it was time for something new. My stylist was Victoria and she is absolutely amazing! I highly highly recommend her. She’s very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to cut my curly hair to make it look good both straight and curly. She cut my bangs from me from having absolutely no bangs and she nailed it! I was extremely nervous having my hair cut but Victoria didn’t disappoint at all. She cut it better than I could even imagine. I will definitely be coming back to her for a future cut and bang touch up!

Its not often that someone takes the time and responsibility to correct a scheduling problem, Adrianna did just that. She addressed the situation immediately and assured me that my standing appointments would remain unchanged. Had a wonderful experience. I was a model for an experienced student who needed the credits. It being my first time at the salonspa. The experienced student was wonderful. She had to do a Pixie cut and she did an awesome job. I have had a Pixie cut a time or two and have not been happy with the outcome. This was coming from someone who had been cutting hair for yrs! This experienced student did the best job by far and have no problem going through her as a regular customer in the future.

I finally found THE ONE! After many years of searching and many haircut/color disappointments later I finally met Nick at Gadabout Salon. He has made my wildest hair dreams come true. He is incredibly talented and he is great at listening and communicating. I was able to walk out of the salon getting exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend this beautiful salon.

Been going for ten years. My stylist was sick and the rookie I got gave me the worst haircut ever. Would have been better off at my dogs groomer.

Considering one has to abide by the COVID restrictions, it does feel good to go out and have ones hair cut. Makes me feel better afterwards anyway. Not exactly business as usual when expecting it to be a pamperingexperience, but definitely a move in the right direction. I left the salon feeling more confident with my new groomed appearance. Now for my nails...

Loved it!! Went in for facial waxing services and it was my first time getting this service and first time visit to Gadabout! My experience was awesome! Great spa. The staff members were very polite and supportive. And the place was very clean.

I really wanted to like this place. I have been so afraid to get a haircut because I moved to this area about a year ago and have not had a decent haircut since I’ve been here. They reassured me that the person who was cutting my hair was very good with short haircuts. But to my surprise this wasn’t the case. All I wanted was literally the most simple haircut there can be. I wanted the same length all around, just 1 inch taken off. But it was just a horrible hair cut! I also have a cartilage piercing and they nicked behind my ear stating that it looked “infected” how could it be infected when it was fine before I came in and then you cut it with your hair brush?? I was so offended !!. So offended that I had to hide my pain because I didn’t want the hairstylist to feel bad about it!! My ear was bleeding so much that I had to apply pressure over a sink and I ended up getting blood all over my hair. I had to treat my ear for 2 weeks with saline flush and antibacterial. I came out 66 less in case, I also spent more money on my piercing treatment. And to top it off I have to hide my hair behind a bun! I am not at all confident enough to wear my hair down bc it’s just not a good haircut at all. I had high hopes for this place. I’m so disappointed. I did my part and did the research to make sure I would be happy here, but I wasn’t. Now have to go out of state to get a haircut because it cannot be met here ??? Really ?? How sad!

I havent cut my hair in about 6+ months and I got a beautiful trim with layers! Kelly cut and styled my hair for my engagement photo shoot. I got great product recommendations too! All of the staff are really nice too.

I just had the most amazing massage today by Ashley at the Gadabout on River and Campbell! I felt very safe and well cared for with all the extra steps they are taking with cleaning for COVID precautions. They have gone above and beyond to make sure they’re doing the absolute best for they’re clients. As a physician under a lot of stress, I really needed this massage and I highly recommend their services.

I had a gift card and was really excited to get a high quality wax. At $62 I was expecting a Brazilian to be done correctly, however when I got home and inspected the goodies I noticed two long strips of hair that were missed inside. Not happy with the quality for the price at all.

I had a gel manicure done before Christmas. The service and staff were great, however, after one night the gel peeled off my thumbs after removing my socks. Then the next day when I washed my hair all of the gel came off my nails in sheets. I was so frustrated as this has never happened to me before and I wanted my nails to look nice for Christmas and New Years. They got me in again and re-did my nails. Unfortunately, a few days later my nails peeled off again. It was very upsetting to pay $70 for a gel manicure that lasted 1 day, come in again to fix it, and again it lasted only a few days. Gadabout did call me for feedback. She offered to have me come back again but I couldn’t because I was going to be out of town. She said their manager would get back to me to fix the situation. That never happened. I do not recommend using them for nail service based on my experience.

This is the second time Ive been to a Gadabout Salon, but the first time at this location. Something about the vibe here on River & Campbell is just extraordinary; I cant quite put my finger on it other to say that the people are wonderfully kind and helpful, and Monique gave me a most spectacular pedicure. Even though its just a little bit more of a drive from my house, this is definitely a location I will return to again and again! 🙂

I opted for the Treatment Pedicure because i desperately needed moisture and a good foot/calf massage.My toes look fantastic, and my feet feel moisturized, but I will not opt for their massage upgrade again. It was lightweight, even after asking to increase pressure. It was not worth the extra expense. FYI.I may return for a regular pedi, but I will have to find some other place for foot massage. Sad its not able to be all under one roof.Oh, by the way, unless you have venmo, you should bring cash for the tip. They do not allow you to just add a tip to your charge. Way to make it easy on the customer right? I went to the bank, and then they had the audacity to say they couldnt break a 20. Really stressful afterward. Not cool, Gadabout.

Alenna was my stylist. I left with a haircut that was beautiful.i got a pixie style cut and it came out better than I hoped.

First time at this location and it was a great experience. They offered me a complimentary brow wax as my hair stylist was a few minutes behind. All the staff were super friendly and I truely felt special even though I was just in for a basic haircut. And both hair and eyebrows turned out fabulous to boot! I will definitely be going back to this location.

I never leave reviews, but I felt like this was worth it. I had Leandra and she was GREAT. I went to a salon yesterday and they completely ruined/damaged/bleached my hair to a strawberry coppery blonde color. I was so unhappy, I called Gadabout today for an opening. They were able to fit me in with Leandra at such a short notice. She was so nice and understanding, she gave me a really pretty highlight and completely fixed the color of my hair. She also gave me a conditioning treatment because my hair had been bleached 3 times, and my hair feels so much healthier and looks vibrant. I am so happy with my results, and highly recommend visiting the salon or requesting Leandra.

I was less than impressed with the quality of the service I received for my $80.00 pedicure 2 weeks ago. My feet looked exactly the same as when I entered, the massage was non existant and the products they used did not make a noticeable difference on my feet. The polish job was nice enough. It was my first time visiting the salon and the customer service was a real disappointmemt. Sad to say that I could have gone to my old salon and paid half of what Gadabout charged and had a more pleasant experience.

Great service, great experience. I highly recommend Gadabout. When I first called for an appointment, they were able to help me find the perfect stylist to meet my needs, and Ive been going to her for over a year. The service is always great and I always look forward to my appointments.

Great service. Went to Lexi to cut off 10 plus inches for locks of love, a organization that makes wigs for children with cancer. She helped me look through some magazines till me found an idea then went to work. My hair looks amazing and in the end the cut was free because she also supports locks of love. Great cut and a big heart.

Christina is really great! I always feel so relaxed at this location and she does an especially great job! Theyre definitely more expensive than the majority of hair salons but its always a very nice experience.

Brittany MacKinnon is a jewel. Shes been cutting and coloring my hair for 12 years. Shes a talented stylist and a marvelous human being! I drive 45 minutes to get to this salon, and its worth it. I am never disappointed and I love my hair.

From the moment you walk in youre greeted with smiling and attentive staff! The salon is well managed and the service exceptional. The front desk is attentive and friendly. Even though your individual experience may vary based on the tech you meet with, the company stands behind its services and quality. Theres a reason Gadabout has flourished in Tucson for over 34 years!

I want Victoria to know that this is my most favorite haircut since I’ve been wearing my hair short (10 years). I have a cowlick near my crown - and this is the first time I have not had to rewet my hair in the morning to keep the back of my hair from splitting at the cowlick!! THANK YOU!!!

Best salon in Tucson! Gadabout employees really go out of their way to make every guest feel (and look) beautiful, while following all the CDC guidelines. I would highly recommend going to Gadabout for all your beauty needs.

When I wrote a negative review the corporate office called me almost immediately and asked if they could get me back in the salon. Although there was less than an hour until my event they got me back in, 10 minutes in the chair, boom, my hair looked great.

The hostess are rude, but thats normal there. As for the specialist aka your hairstylist, masseuses, nail chicas are always loving and welcoming. I rate them a 10/10 and females up front 3/10. Dont let them sour your mood.

Scheduled a child’s cut and at check out was told that they have the right to charge and change the price of the service and we’re charging me for an adult cut for a child!! They couldn’t have told me this before they cut her hair or when the service was booked??? Extremely disgusting way to conduct business will not be going back

Very disappointed in my most recent visit. Lets just say that a 1/2 inch trim and a little thinning should not mean that I have half the amount of hair at the end of my cut.My mother gasped when I met her for dinner afterwards.Now Im going to have to hide my hair while at a professional conference this weekend because I dont have the time or money to fix it. I saved up to go to a higher end hair salon and got a cut exactly the opposite of what I asked for.This style might have been good for someone else who asked for it but even though I said just a little thinning near the tips, she cut all the way up my length.Im going to have to cut it all off after this conference to make it work. There goes a foot of hair that I spent a long time growing out.

Susan Wheeler did my nails & she is excellent, Ive had acrylic nails for yrs & she by far has done the best job Ive ever had, as well as being a great person whos pleasant 2 visit with during the service, I would highly recommend Susan to any friends or family

First time for me at River Rd location. Very nice, friendly atmosphere. Victoria was great, gave me a nice haircut and style.

I prefer Aveda for hair, and Canyon Ranch or Red Door for the rest. The people manning the desk, at least at the St. Phillips location, seemed rather unhappy, so the whole place just had a bustling, mildly unfriendly feel (with a dash of untargeted snark -- I never felt like it was directed at me, but it was in the air), much more like a New York subway than a spa. New York subways are fun, but thats not what you want when youre going to get your hair done or get a manicure or a facial or whatever. While entertaining, its not conducive to a scalp massage or any kind of pleasurable relaxation whatsoever. Its too bad, because St. Phillips in general is utterly delightful!

I miss the Gadabout it used to be. Too many restrictions with the Covid have made it less comfortable. I miss the spa water and the personal contact. It is so sterile now. My spa person is still wonderful!

Brett Elizabeth was amazing with my curly hair cut. She knew how to handle my fine waves and I am extremely pleased with the cut.

Ive had to fix so many cut and colors coming from gadabout from all their locations..They should be perfect right. I figure...get em in get em out..customer gets home and d/n like it..why cant you get your $ back or fix it??...not my shop.

What a lovely experience! A fun conversation with my esthetician, lovely scents and sounds, pampering products ~ soooo relaxing, didnt want to leave!

My husband purshased a gift card for my birthday at this location over the phone and 2 days later checked his bank account to find that someone had stolen his card info and used it to purchase $200 worth of stuff. The purchase was pretty much right after him paying over the phone with his card. I did call the location spoke with Selene one of the managers to let her know about the situasion. She states they do not have confirmation numbers for furchases and assured me none of her girls would rish their job to steal someones identity. Just beware!

I love Kelley. She is a great stylist and has helped me grow out a terrible cut from somewhere else into a style that totally fits me.

Clean very nice people they always ask if you would like something to drink while your waiting. You pay for the level of experience for your beautician and I like that.
