What an awful experience! The bouncer Benny treated my group and I (who reserved AHEAD of time) SO horribly, that we ended up leaving and having way better time at our hotel room, I will never come back here! Unless you want to hang out with trashy ratchet people dont come here
Warning: beware of the host Brett David at Loosie’s Night Club! He discriminates against certain groups. My friends and I three (brown guys) were greeted with hostility at entry based on our skin color, while others were allowed to pass through without any negative interactions. He wanted us to start a tab for a couple hundred dollars just for entry while our other friends who were already inside had no such issue! We were a group of six total and probably would have spent triple the amount of that tab but decided to leave because of his toxic attitude. His behavior was aggressive and hostile. The club management needs to address this issue and take steps to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all patrons. Until then, Ill be taking my business (and my friends) elsewhere.
Ill start by saying, this place has allllll the vibes. The decor is amazing, as is the music. They played a mix of mainstream pop and 80s hits. However, the only way in is to know somebody, whether thats a promoter or a regular. Also, the crowd is a bit young and the venue itself gets super crowded. When I wasnt dancing on a couch, people were constantly banging into me, which was very annoying. I would go again but I wouldnt pay the cover.
I had on a Jameson jacket and the guy at the door who had on a similar nascar style jacket wouldn’t let me in- size-ist and misogynistic.Hope you aren’t carrying Jameson at the bar
The bum with buns on his head going through a mid life crisis didn’t let us in unless we got a $300 tab. You basically gotta know someone to get in not worth it you can go other spots that are better
Me and my friends came here on vacation and had a really great time it was so much fun the disco balls were our favorite and the dj was playing the best songs all night long. The cost check is a big plus and something a tourist like us were wondering about and worried about. Overall great place would recommend to anyone 10/10
Best nightclub I been to in a long time. The bouncers so nice and respectful. The music was a 10000/10, I wanted to stay there forever. Definitely the best music I’ve ever experienced in a night club.
Overrated. At 2am staff approached us in a very bad taste, hostile manner, saying that someone had bought the table, and we needed to leave. They basically threw us out. We understand that when tables are bought people have to move. However, the delivery of the message was awful, ghetto like for a place like that. Very unprofessional, they have no people’s skills and left a sour ending to our night out. Don’t recommend at all.
Got to the place at 11 pm just as they opened on a Saturday night, we were a group of 7 (4 girls, 3 guys) with no reservations, they wanted $1200 for entrance which was absolutely ridiculous so we left
Bouncer didn’t let us in for some reason. Offered $300 bar tab for me and my gf. We said no, he mocked us and we got out of line. Next group was 3 guys, offered $200 bar tab for them. Just another mediocre club with rude and annoying bouncers. Don’t waste your time.
Worst experience ever. They lei and charge you many many dollars. Such bad Music as Well.
Very rude doorman, Sam, lets girls in that cut the line. All doormen talking about girls that are polite and wanted to ask a question. He said he’s “just a doorman” but clearly calling shots on which girls get it. Asked for $350 tab.
What a horrendous place! Was recommended this spot to bring our friend for part of her bachelorette celebration in NYC, and they wouldn’t let her in because she was on the line outdoors with a veil on! The people working the door were amongst some of the most rude, egotistical, self-righteous people I have ever encountered in a public nightlife environment! Definitely do not recommend this establishment.
By far the worst club I’ve been too. This club is kinda like getting a boom box speaker ti your moms basement and blazing the early 2000s hits. So basically you can do it yourself. The DJ was more concerned with talking to his friends, than actually playing the music. Barely anyone was dancing. And people kept going in and out. Won’t be back that’s for sure
Very weird ratio, basically all women and promoters. Decent music tho
Got to the place at 11pm right when they open, and they wanted a group of 6 people to pay 500 just as a cover charge, no drinks included. They were nice when they told usbut way too expensive.
The guy in front with the craters in his face was so rude and annoying. Overall though the club inside is pretty chill but not in my top 20 clubs i would go to.
Security was the absolute worst wouldn’t let us in was told I was to casual when he wouldn’t even look at the other (white people) clothes he was letting people in with dirty jeans and sneakers that looked like they walked around the country in them the guy with the one painted nail basically called us a liar after speaking with the lady from reservations don’t waste your time
What a great place. My wife and I had a fun night of dancing. Thank you Benny for letting us in! Great service from all!
If you want your belongings stolen, get pushed around by security, have management ignore you, and listen to the worst songs from 2008-2012, then come here.
Had the time of my life
I’d rather get 4 consecutive lobotomies than listen to the Thursday night DJ ever again
Loosie is amazing one with good music and dance vibe.
Overall good time!
Below the standard for NY nightlife
