This review is for the overall experience at the Domain Northside location.The photos on website are truly misleading. The sole purpose for booking a massage at a spa complete with spa pricing versus a parlor (such as massage envy as a example) is for the full service lounge complete with amenities such as showers/sauna and relaxation. Their site advertises a relaxing experience complete with photos of treatments, saunas and relaxation rooms. I had originally booked 3 treatments; a gel manicure, followed by 60 minute hydra-facial and last a 90 minute massage. Call it a woman’s intuition, but prior to my appointment I called to verify my start time and ask if steam showers were on site (like there are at Milk and Honey Spa’s). When the receptionist said unfortunately not, it prompted me to ask about which amenities were available considering I had 1 hour plus layover between appointments. At this point I was told that the saunas featured in the photos were not amenities that are included with services without further purchase, essentially “add on” service. Upon my arrival to my appointments ( costing upward of $500). I was greeted and asked whether I needed to use the restroom prior to my treatments. Assuming I would be escorted to a women’s locker room and offered a robe or shoes to change into and made feel more comfortable, I was brought to the women’s bathroom. It wasn’t until after my facial that I was then taken upstairs to the rooms where massages are provided that I had to ask the esthetician where the lockers were for me to stowaway my purse and belongings. The massage was pleasant, however soothing music was drowned out by the blaring music from the Rock Rose bar scene thus making it extremely difficult to ignore and ultimately unwind and fully relax. This was my first time at Viva and I typically do not leave reviews but felt compelled to share as I feel like this location has several opportunities to improve before I consider a revisit because the massage and facial were amazing! Sad because as a result of not securing my belongings as to be expected at a spa I was shuffled between 2 separate treatment rooms and 2 separate lounges, I lost my favorite pair of sunglasses!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing an exceptional massage at this location and it was nothing short of amazing. The tranquil ambiance and soothing scents set the tone for a deeply relaxing session.My therapist, Cori was incredibly skilled and attentive. She took the time to understand my specific needs and tailor the massage accordingly. Every touch felt purposeful, working out knots and tension I didn’t even realize I had. I received a gift certificate from my mom for the “love your mother” massage package. (1hr and 45 min) It was amazing!! The receptionist was nice. The ambiance was relaxing and therapeutic. My massage therapist, Katherine made me comfortable and relaxed the entire time. She really focused on my more tense areas like my shoulders and lower back. The scalp massage was the cherry on top! I definitely recommend this place! I will be coming back to Viva for more massages in the near future and try out a facial next time!
Alice gave me a 75 min Swedish massage with hot stone treatment and lavender scalp treatment. It was wonderfully relaxing and she worked out all my sore muscles with so much care. I appreciated her serene composure and was immediately comfortable in her presence. Thank you Alice!
I absolutely love love love Viva. I’ve gotten paired with a handful of masseuses here and they truly are all great. However, I have fallen in love with Alice’s work particularly. She is so very talented and reads my back exceptionally well. She is also the absolute sweetest. I ALWAYS leave feeling like I want to cry tears of joy because she always makes me feel so much better than I do walking in and so much relief. She is honestly just that great/talented. It should also be noted that her energy is so immaculate. Thank you, Alice, for always making me feel good!

From the moment I stepped in, the staff showered me with warmth and hospitality, making me feel right at home.The Diva package was pure bliss! Wrapped in a cozy towel and robe, I was ushered into my own private sauna, complete with refreshing cucumber ice water and a cold mint towel to enhance relaxation. The attention to detail was impeccable.Katia, my massage therapist, was a magician! Her dry brush exfoliation followed by a deep tissue massage with luxurious body butter left me in a state of euphoria. She was attentive to my preferences and ensured the pressure was just right. The reflexology and neck and scalp massage were the cherries on top.The indulgence continued with a delectable lunch catered from a nearby coffee shop. Then came Alenna, my facial expert, who worked wonders on my skin. I am so insanely happy and grateful that this is the spa I chose. My family is from out of state, and we come here to visit my aunt about once a year and this time we needed a girls day. I made an appointment for 4 of us, all celebration packages and 1 Mama Diva package. As soon as we arrived, I felt heard, and the customer service was immediately amazing. Everyone, from the receptionists, to the managers, and the service providers have been so incredible and I will probably schedule a service here everytime we have a trip planned. Thank you all so much for being so kind and taking such good care of me and my family!! The services left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. A truly amazing experience.
I’ve been going to Viva for years and highly recommend. Delta was amazing. Had a deep tissue massage and it was one of the best I’ve had yet. 90 minutes of light stretching and tackling every ache and tight muscle in my body. She seemed to read my mind, knowing exactly which area needed more attention as she worked. The massage included hot towels, lavender mint aromas, and soothing music.
I recently went in for the Vivafy Spa Package (75 minute massage + 90 minute facial). It was a fantastic experience all around. Tim D. did an amazing deep tissue massage that addressed all my areas of concern. Brittany K. was phenomenal, and I thoroughly enjoyed the facial that left me hydrated and glowing. She walked me through every step and she was just really fun to interact with. She even helped me select an exfoliating product that I know I will need in the future. The 90 minute facial was truly a highlight, and I will definitely be booking another.5 Stars, thank you Viva!
I got My wife a Mother’s Day package so she could finally get some time away from our newborn son and just the house in general to relax. It was going great and she told me in between how it going until she was getting her nails done and was asked “How far along are you?” Now she says she doesn’t want to go back anymore and I’m not gonna hear the end of it. She’s been trying to get back into it after having our son but whatever confidence she had was shot. 🤦🏽♂️ I’m sure you all meant well, just take it easy for the husbands at home.
AFAIK it’s reservations only. You go in and check in with the receptionist. After confirming your appointment they lead you into a waiting area where you can enjoy some cucumber water and mints, there is some incense going and calming music playing. When they are ready your spa tech will come grab you and bring you to your private room(s). Patricia and Heather were expert spa professionals! I came here for my birthday and booked the delicious duet package with my boyfriend and they were so kind and helpful for each step of the session. They started out by asking about our spa experience and wishing me a happy birthday. Then allowed us to use the restroom before we changed into this towel skirt thing and some sandals. They lead us into the steam room with some iced cucumber water. Once we were loosened up they gave us peppermint towels to cool off before we started the massage (asking if we preferred light, medium, or firm pressure and which areas to focus on/avoid). I really appreciate them looking out for us and communicating with us if we seemed uncomfortable at any point. The dry brush was a weird experience, basically a giant exfoliating brush. The wrap wasn’t super constricting and they left room for us to put an arm out if we did feel claustrophobic. The weighted eye cover during the wrap was a nice touch to block out the world and really immerse me in the relaxation experience. The hydrating hand treatment coupled with hand massage felt great and relaxing. The magic mint scalp treatment and lavender hot towel treatment were one of my favorite parts. I was worried about the foot and calf sugar scrub since I’m not a fan of people touching my feet but I’m glad I was open to the experience because it was super relaxing. Patricia and Heather really made my birthday special and succeeded in relaxing my boyfriend and me. I felt taller and so much lighter afterwards. We booked another session for his birthday lol(they give you 10%off your next session if you book afterwards). While very pricey we both feel it was worth this experience and service
I will never see anyone else for my Botox/ Dysport injections. Seema at Viva is the absolute best. She is so knowledgeable and takes the time to get to know her patients. She does an incredible job every time, and always listens to makes sure she does what’s best for my wants/ needs. You will love her!
I received a happy hands and feet gift card for Mother’s Day from a friend. I have had other services done here before and I absolutely have always loved coming here. Today I came in for my Mani Pedi and I was so disappointed in the service I received. First off, I asked if I could substitute regular nail polish with gel and of course I would pay the difference if I had to, but that service was refused to me because according to the technician, she didn’t have the time needed for gel nail polish. And this was after she had just told me that I was her last client and she was off for the next two days. Also, I came straight from work so I had regular shoes on, and she offered me some sandals that they sell for four dollars and yet the lady next to me was given free flip-flops as an option which I was not given. At the end, I was not charged for them, but that’s only because I had such an unhappy face So, after she denied my request, she then asked if I was using the same color for hands and feet and I said no I’d like to pick a different color for my feet and she did not let me do that either. I thought that was optional! then, there was a fly just being it pesky little self and it landed on my cup, and she clearly saw it because she laughed at the fact that I was trying to swat the fly away, and she never offered me another drink. At the end of my appointment, I was upset because of the options I was denied, but nothing disappointed me more than when I saw my nails and how she left them. She obviously didn’t file my nailbeds right because you can see the bumps through the nail polish. I am so unhappy, and I am not one to complain, but, I don’t think even the nicest person would be happy with the service I received today.

Their site advertises a relaxing experience, however upon my arrival of my appointment (a deep tissue massage service). I was greeted and escorted to a room welcomed by others and offered the choice of tea or water, no calming music, no scent of essential oils, no aroma therapy, no robe or shoes to change and make myself comfortable. The room was noisy due side bar conversations, rightfully so in a regulate waiting area. we werent obligated to silence, because the room was just a waiting area not quiet room. The overall massage was pleasant, the masseuse did a great job attending to my physical needs, however my complaints are the room was not memorable or relaxing at all, no soothing music, aromas Or essential oils, and the the masseuses hands were cold and dry during my experience.
Almost everyone was friendly and nice. Massage was fantastic, my face didnt love the facial (broke out days after), the mani-pedi 🫢 just make sure to take out your powder/dips/etccos they didnt have the tools to take it off (their words). Anyway still had a great experience
I’ve been coming here every month now for a year & 1/2 and I’ve never had a bad experience. I love that they have mimosas. It helps a lot if you’re anxious about being touched, or if you get cringed out easily. I always love my nails and feel relaxed when I leave here. Prices are high, but for the amount of comfort and attention they give you I think it’s well beyond worth it. Thank you guys. Best nails and I’ll always recommend my friends.

Received my first hydrafacial with Raya today, i cannot recommend this service and this provider more! Before the service Whitney was so sweet in the waiting area, once i was brought back Raya answered all of my questions with grace and was so kind. Rayas facial massage skills are out of this world. 100000/10 AMAZING

Ive had quite a few hydrafacials done. Not just here. It was such a loss to loose my last lady. I had Brittany this time. She was very nice, however I felt the entire procedure was RUSHED. She almost forgot to show me what was in the tune, I had to ask. She ran the hose over my face on each treatment so fast it was over in under 30 minutes. I had the deluxe. By far my worst.
Loved, loved, loved my experience! Highly recommend Alex M as a nail tech. She did my mani pedi and it was wonderful! I was so relaxed and she paid attention to my every need. I even had a blister on my pinky toe and one of my big toenails was broken. She worked on them both and I feel what she did made them feel and look better! And helped in the healing process. She also took a lot of time removing a temporary tattoo I had from the night before, which took a lot of man power and some products too. Im not much of a talker so we talked here and there but other than that, she just let me relax. Such a wonderful experience and I cant wait to go back. If youre interested in great products for your body or great items for your house, this is also a must stop. I bought more than I should of and yet still didnt buy everything I wanted. Its a really great store.

This review is looong overdue and is basically a Jamie V. appreciation post. Ive been going to Viva at the Domain for about a year now -- first for laser hair removal and then for Hydrafacials, Clear & Brilliant treatments, and IPL. I got Jamie by chance for my first laser treatment and from that point on Ive made sure to schedule all my treatments with her, even if I have to wait longer to get an appointment that works for both of our schedules.I instantly felt comfortable with Jamie, and shes one of the nicest, most genuine people Ive ever met. It is so nice having such a judgment-free zone for more intimate appointments like laser. Depending on the treatment, you can spend a lot of time with your technician, so it makes a world of difference to have someone you really connect with that actually cares about both you as a person and your individual treatment plan. I never feel like Im just another appointment on her schedule, and she really listens to your needs and concerns in *each* appointment. Weve done the same treatments many times yet it never feels like shes on autopilot. Shes always asking me about my current concerns as well as doing thoughtful assessments of her own, and shes quick to recommend when we should be conservative with something based on my current needs. Shes also so knowledgeable about all of the treatments she does, and skincare in general, and her love for her profession is so evident. She really makes me look forward to going in for treatments, even when they arent the relaxing kind! I even booked my fiancé a Hydrafacial with Jamie since shes the best and he said he understands now why Im always raving about how great she is.Also, shoutout to the med spa front of house team -- Jenn, Blake, Whitney and Jade who are all such great people! During the most recent freeze, Jenn personally reached out about my appointment and worked with me on rescheduling, despite most likely being without power herself, or at minimum dealing with the resulting chaos. Everyone at this location really goes above and beyond for their clients.This is the 3rd closest Viva location to where I live but I will still make the drive to the Domain for their amazing staff.
My family sent me here for a half day spa package and there aren’t enough words to say how amazing it was. Rebecca, one of their estheticians, was so intuitive and gentle and kind. It was straight magic. Loved every minute!
I received a package of facials from my daughter to Viva Day Spa. My aestheticians name is Sheila, after the first visit she noticed a small scaly spot on my skin and suggested I get checked it out by dermatologist. I made that appointment and saw the dermatologist and it was pre-cancer. Westlake dermatology was especially impressed that my aesthetician caught it. I can’t recommend Viva Day Spa enough and especially Sheila.

My visit was okay. Really nice injector, but Botox didn’t last as long as other places. Also - the receptionist asked me if I wanted to tip and that put a really bad taste in my mouth.Update: the team reached out and was really sweet and offered to make it up to me. The Botox lasted way longer the second time, but they still asked if I wanted to tip
Facial was fine though they go way too hard w/ extractions (like. WAY too hard). front office staff seems young & inexperienced. there were two gals & they were mostly on their phones while i was trying to get checked in & out.
NEW REVIEW 1/23/24 ----I had a previous lackluster experience and I wanted to stop by and update my review. I previously did the head trip package and it was lackluster. After, the spa reached out and addressed my concerns and I had an opportunity to back for another head trip massage.I arrived a few minutes early and had a chance to relax in the lounge area, read, and sip tea. I used the restroom and it was very clean. This time, I saw Illeana for my massage and she did an amazing job. I felt extremely relaxed and would definitely book with her again.Overall, my impression of the spa drastically improved and I upgraded my rating to 5 stars. I plan to visit the new Round Rock location when I get a chance.
I have been going to Viva Day Spa for over 5 years and this was my first Fraxel Laser Treatment I had with them. Nathalie Alfaro-Lee was my technician and highly recommend booking with her! She guided me through the whole process and made me very comfortable as well as provided amazing after care help. Very excited to see the results :)

I have had a custom designer facial twice with Shawnna and my experience has been phenomenal. She takes her time to learn your skin and what it needs, makes the whole experience very relaxing and is very soft and gentle. My customer experience with her is always 10/10. I highly recommend going to Shawnna!!
I got a hydra-facial and laser hair removal done by Jamie! I regularly get facials but this is my first one at Viva with Jamie and my experience with her was UHMAZING it was so relaxing. I am however a first time laser client so I was extremely nervous and she immediately put me at ease and walked me through the experience before the service! Shes so sweet and so good at what she does!
Absolutely LOVED my experience here! My party of 3 scheduled a mani and pedi and a facial. The three woman doing our nails were so kind, gentle and patient and waited on us hand and foot!!! EJ was my technician and she did so well if you want a deep clean up of cuticle care and massage! I was in heaven! When my grandmother began to feel ill the staff and even the manager came over to assist her making sure she was okay and provided her with 5 star care like she was their very own! The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The chairs provided are wonderful. Temperature settings, and a variety of massage settings as well as an option for speed and intensity. This place is PERFECT for anyone looking to truly unwind while being treated like family and without any fear of judgement. 10/10 service!!! Will be retuning soon! Thank y’all so much 💓💓💓💓💓
Finally made it to Viva at the Domain! I booked the New Years facial package with Brittany and it was FABULOUS. The location is great (who doesn’t love a little pre- and post-spa shopping?) and the facilities themselves are immaculate. Brittany made it clear from the beginning: it was all about me and my needs. I loved that everything was customizable, from the heat of the table to to the lighting to the music to the services. I was in heaven.It was also obvious how knowledgeable and truly invested Brittany (and the entire staff!) was in my experience. The facial itself - as well as the add-ons with the package - was excellent, and so was my post-consultation. I even walked away with some great products.I’m not local, but I will be back (many more times). Do yourself a favor - book now and ask for Brittany!
I am so happy with my experience here. I had received a celebration gift card which included massage, facial and pedicure. The staff was incredible from the moment I arrived to when I checked out. Candice did my massage, she was so kind and friendly. Anissa did my facial, so wonderful to work with. She has lots of great tips for taking care of your skin. Great first experience getting a massage here! Deita was really skilled and professional and made the whole experience extremely comfortable. I got the 90 min signature massage and it included full body massage with a focus on your chosen areas, warm towels, scalp massage, scents. The room had a great ambience and the massage bed was soft, heated and very comfortable. They provide water and there are some snacks/nuts in the waiting area too. If you have long hair make sure to bring a hairband and ideally a brush too for after the scalp massage.
Im rating this place one star because I had a very uncomfortable experience. I stayed for the day and the last part of my package deal, was a mani/pedi. I was not shown any kind of pleasant service from the nail tech I had. She didnt speak to me or offer anything, such as drink, warm neck pillow etc.. I watched the other techs ask their clients and had nice open conversations with them. I didnt know why I was being ignored. I thought my day was so great until the last part of my package deal. This full day package was for my birthday. And I was also told that I had to get the mani and pedi because its in the package. I didnt get my manicure because the girl was so very unpleasant to be around and very unprofessional. Her name is Charmi. I explained all of this to one of the employees working at the register. I received a discount. If I ever come back to Austin, I will NOT come back to Viva Day Spa.
Just had a lovely massage with Tim at the location in the Domain! He was kind and asked all the right questions! I had a 70 min massage and added the foot reflexology and the Arnica upgrade! It was a beautiful space and very nice employees. Although I didn’t get hot and cold stones like what I thought I booked. So I most likely wouldn’t add that again but will most definitely will back for another visit! Thank you guys!
I had the best prenatal massage ever! Ileana was amazing. I’ve had a lot of massages in my lifetime but this one surpassed them all! She knew exactly what she was doing, I definitely needed that. And I’ll definitely be going back! The atmosphere was chill and the front desk receptionists were very welcoming and friendly.
Had a deep tissue massage with Jan today. She really listened to my desires for the treatment and tailored the massage to my wants. Not only was it relaxing but very therapeutic and more of a “body work” style. Def booking again with her and would recommend.

Viva offers a friendly and consistent proper pedicure by Truy. I truly cant brag enough about her. Shes friendly and fun, plus my feet always look and feel beautiful! Im always greeted with a smile and dont feel its forced here. I love the location and people.
I was here for the vivafy spa. My arms and legs had an allergic reaction to the massage oil. Definitely do NOT recommend this place.I had specifically mentioned to both the my consultants(massage and facial) that I had sensitive skin. The facial consultant later suggested a face pack. I assumed she would have taken into consideration everything I told her about my skin. After she applied the mask, I asked if this mask was safe for my skin and she says I can’t tell you that for sure. If you can’t tell me that for sure why are you asking me questions about my skin and allergies. Or the least warn me before you put something on my face.For $400 that I paid for your services, this is not the service I expect.

As I was leaving I commented to the ladies at the front counter, what time did you check me in? From the looks on their faces, they knew.The pedicure quality was above average. I needed it badly after neglecting my feet in a very very busy 3 month stretch. But I felt rushed out.***Updated for Aug 26.***After sending in an email to Viva management with details of my visit I was provided another complimentary pedicure and massage. I chose the South Lamar location. Tony V. worked with me and this time, no hurry. We had engaging conversation and I received the treatment I originally paid for. In other words, Viva made it right and even gave me a goodie back to take home that Mrs. has taken over. Giving another star.
I treated myself to a massage by Delta at Viva Day Spa on my birthday and I was so happy that I did! My Swedish massage was so relaxing and Delta talked me through different options for me. I loved the whole experience and will be back to specifically treat my TMG. Delta had even worked with the staff at the front desk to give me a birthday gift bag full of chocolates and other goodies. I ‘m so glad I decided to visit Viva Day Spa for my birthday!

First time at Viva and now I know why people love it, all the staff is super pleasant the moment you walk in. I got a pregnancy massage as a gift and it was the best massage ever! Diana was able to give me the full experience despite being 5 months pregnant. It was her first day working at Viva but she is an expert massage therapist. I will definitely be booking with her again!

We came here for my bachelorette and the location was perfect. We even got our own private room with wine and other refreshments. There were 6 of us and all of us has absolutely amazing massages but one of us. I had one friend who didn’t appreciate her massage because the therapist refused to focus on her trouble spot even though she wrote it on the paperwork and reminded her at the start of the massage. The other part that was frustrating was that I called before I booked the massages I confirmed we’d have access to the saunas. However, on the day of the staff pulled us two at a time for our massages but never offered the sauna or told us we wouldn’t have access to them after our massages. When I spoke to the lady at the front desk about it she said that unfortunately they were closed and booked the following day but she’d give me a call the next day. But that never happened which ruined the whole experience for our group.

58yo male; first time experience with a derma filler procedure. Met with Dr. White prior to procedure as a consultation. Dr. White asked what I was looking to do. I explained, and she advised me accordingly. Note: I thought I needed attention around my nose/mouth area and Dr. White didnt see it and advised against it. I really appreciated her input and it told me she is sincerely wanting to help her clients enhance their appearance and willing to provide constructive feedback as a subject matter expert. Being a board certified medical doctor I went with her advice. I am thoroughly pleased with the procedure; with Dr. White; and with Viva Day Spa staff - especially Whitney, who was really friendly and super helpful! As a strong secondary, the place smells amazing in that spa take me away vibe. VDS is great for any male that is curious about procedures but intimidated or wanting a discreet setting.
The staff was very friendly and I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped inside. I received my very first facial ever from Sheila and let me tell you I was far from disappointed. I got the Viva Vital Ultimate Facial and right from the start Sheila was super sweet. She gave me a run down on everything she was going to do and made sure I was comfortable. She examined my skin and gave me a few product suggestions but overall said my skin looked amazing. The entire experience was so relaxing there were a few times I almost doze off. After my facial my skin was soft, supple and plump. My husband even said my skin was glowing. I have been converted and will definitely add facials into my self care regimen. I’m just sad I’m from out of state or else I’d become a regular here. 10/10 would recommend Viva Day Spa + Med Spa for anyone looking to treat themselves to some amazing self care. I have visited the Domain location several times and more times than not, I find myself forgiving the staff for something that I was scheduled for, but did not receive. Yesterday was the last straw. My boss and his wife gave me a full spa day to book for any where in the Austin area to say thank you for all of my hard work and OT. I scheduled it thru Vivas main scheduling. I ordered the 6.5 hour package Viva Diva for the works. My massage was 75 minutes, was supposed to be 90. After my massage, I had my facial, and after my facial I was told I was finished. I was surprised and inquired as into why I only received a couple of the services. I was sad when the manager told me there was a mistake in the scheduling and the person who scheduled my appointment no longer works for Viva, so there is nothing they can do except give me 30% off my services received. No body wrap, body scrub/exfoliation, sauna, manicure, pedicure, etc. I was so looking forward to a full day of relaxation, but instead I was disappointed again. There was no attempt to accommodate or reschedule. It was just an Oh well, take 30% off. Never again. I will not be going back there again. This never happened when I went to Spa Revail.
My name is Bristol and I came to Austin for a small getaway with my wife. I came to viva day spa and received a 90 minute massage with Ileanna and let me tell you, she did everything I needed and more. I feel asleep 2x and woke feeling refreshed, renewed, and amazing to say the least. From the ladies at the front desk my experience was completely amazing, they were very welcoming and answered all my random questions. If you coming to Austin come here for a life changing experience.

Beautiful facility, and everything from the initial check in through the end of the visit was both welcoming and soothing. I had a prenatal massage with Vanessa. She was extremely personable, and made sure to check in with me regularly on pressure, the angle of the chair, etc. Being pregnant comes with all sorts of discomforts and challenges, and for the 75 minutes I spent with Vanessa, that all went away! Highly recommend treating yourself to some pampering here.

It was extremely genuine and I felt like I was being heard and she assured me that this is not the way that they treat their employees.This shows their commitment to excellence and that they strive to ensure customer satisfaction. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you!I had my first laser hair removal service today. The girl that did my service was EXCEPTIONAL. When I was done, she guided me to the check out and left. I decided to purchase an exfoliator.The girl at the front desk asked me if I’d like to pay for both my boyfriend and my service- I let her know that I had already made payments for both when I made the appointments. She then asked me if I wanted to leave a tip for my service and I said no. Not because it wasn’t great service, but because tipping for a laser is not required especially when I have just bought a $900 package.When I looked down at the payment pad to pay for the exfoliator, the total said $150. I asked her what the $150 was for and she proceeded to explain how gratuity works. THREE TIMES. At this point, I’m a little upset because I’ve already told her that I’m not tipping for a service that I’ve already paid $900 for. specially since I don’t even know if it was done without harm to my skin. I asked her if I am expected to pay a $150 tip every time I come in for a service and she said that is 20%.Say what you will about tipping culture, but this appointment lasted 30 minutes and I don’t feel like I should have to pay a tip for it, let alone $150. After 2 hours of thinking and doing the math, it seems that the keypad number was the price of the service I got today, not the tip. I’m not sure why this happened, since I had already paid for the package in advance.Instead of explaining what the payment shown on the key pad was for, she decided to lecture me on gratuity. I actually left the place feeling like I was discriminated against and she also neglected to book my next appointment for the package of 6 apts that I had bought.I definitely will not be getting any more of my laser done with this establishment.If you can’t afford to pay the techs a livable wage after I have paid $900 for my service- then I don’t really know what to say.
My partner and I have been coming here monthly for massages for about 3 months now. Every time, the staff has been kind and friendly, and has even remembered our names and preferences!The lobby is nice and inviting, and the waiting area is comfortable. You can even have a warm tea while you wait.Our massage therapists have always been professional and excellent at what they do. We book our next appointment right after we’re done, and get a 10% rebooking discount.If you’re looking for a one-time treatment or looking for a regular massage studio, we’d definitely recommend Viva.
I have done massage for years. But massage by Delta is truly next level and elevated. I come in with a lot of stress and left feeling happy, relaxed and joyful. She noticed the pain that I didn’t expressed! I would come back again once a while
Usually I love this place. But even after confirming several times that they charge my card on file for my mothers birthday massage and facial, they still charged her! Completely ignoring the reason she was there. To relax and have a nice birthday GIFT! She was very upset. If I knew that they couldn’t follow simple directions I would have just gotten her a gift card. I’m very disappointed with the way this was handled. Having this at the start of her birthday and me calling them asking this while im at work is not something that had to happen. Definitely prepare a gift card in advance if you go
I went to redeem my mothers day special. It was great up until the nail part. I was trying to get a gel color but my nail specialist was telling me to get a regular color since they were out of some of the gel colors. I was wanting to see which gel colors they had because I only like using gel for my nails since it lasts longer and keeps my nails from breaking. She still was telling me to pick a regular polish which made me frustrated especially since I was trying to have a relaxing day catered to me.I also had gel on my nails which she had to soak off and it wasnt even all the way off. She ended up putting the regular polish on my nails and it looked horrible since there was still gel on my nails so it was bumpy. I paid extra to have the gel taken off.Anyways, the nail tech next to me got a new client coming in that wanted gel and she said Were out of some colors but let me know what you want and I can let you know if we have it! That obviously made me feel bad because my tech was not wanting to do gel on me and I got what I didnt want when she could have just had good customer service like the other tech and gotten me gel like the other techs client. Im not sure if she just didnt know how to deal with gel because she seemed flustered when even removing my gel.Anyways, the nail experience was the worst and I also didnt get my bag that they were supposed to give me with the package. I even went back to look at the details when I went home.

I had booked a 60min facial. My appointment was at 2pm. My aesthetician came a few minutes late. She started late but ended early. My facial ended up being 50mins. After paying $$$+ gratuity viva should ensure they provide the service for the advertised time. I have had other services at viva (massage) and the experience was excellent but did not enjoy my facial. Would never go for a facial here again.
I absolutely hate leaving negative reviews but this one just left too much disappointment. I booked a day for my daughters 27th birthday. A “mom and oldest daughter day” of what I hoped was going to be memorable. She booked her hair appointment with her regular salon at 2pm so I had to split the spa day in half. Starting off with massage and then head to her hair salon at 2 and then back again at 5:15 for a facial. Well we made it for the massage and it was nice. They were a little late by a few minutes bringing us up and then she was back in the lobby and waiting for me by 1 so she got cheated a few minutes but she didn’t complain. When I talked to the front desk and mentioned that we were scheduled to come back later that day for the facial, they didn’t even have us booked. Now I booked it all with the person I spoke to a week prior explaining the hair salon appointment and she seemed helpful and even suggested the massages first to make sure we didn’t have our hair messed up.Just very disappointing that this was supposed to be a special day for both of us and with our busy schedules made time to spend it here. Nothing special at all with the whole experience.UPDATE: I am soooo happy to be able to revise this review! Alicia one of the managers reached out while we were at my daughters hair appointment and said she was able to juggle some things and was able to honor our original appointment. At first my daughter was hesitant but I really wanted to do this for her. I can’t begin to say how grateful I was to the staff for being extremely welcoming on our return visit and how apologetic they were. They totally turned it around and we both had fantastic facials! So good, we will be returning for more facial treatments! They made this right and I am very appreciative. Thanks Alicia and staff.
I love this place, Ive been coming here for about a year now and Ive always felt welcomed, the staff is very friendly, they always have a smile for everyone.This review goes specially to Jamie. Ive been doing my treatment with her during all this time, shes been awesome every single time. I felt comfortable with her from my very first appointment. Last weekend I had my appointment one day after losing my 12 years old dog to Cancer. I was feeling devastated and Jamie offered me a safe place to cry, mourn, and just be myself during the treatment. She also gave me the option to reschedule my appointment if I wanted to. And when I walked out of the room, she had a present for me. A candle and a body lotion to go home and relax while going through the loss. People sometimes dont know how far their actions can go, that absolutely made my day! Thank you, Jamie for having such a good heart and really caring about your customers ❤️
I booked an appointment with Meagan for lip filler and this whole experience was amazing! The inside is really inviting and staff was quick to say hi and get me checked in. Waiting area is really cute and comfortable too. Meagan made my first time getting injections (first time lip filler) a really great experience/ interaction! She was incredibly sweet and made me comfortable and at ease! We went over my ideal look and what my goal look was. My lips look AMAZING and I barely felt a thing! 😊 can’t wait to book more in the future for other med spa appointments and normal spa services!!

Professional staff - especially Elizabeth, the aesthetician who does the best facials ever! After a few flare ups, she got my skin all the way together and now its just maintenance. She makes great suggestions and provides valuable information specific to women of color which is difficult to find in this city.
Ive been going to Viva Day Spa in the Domain doing facials with Elizabeth. She is SUCH an amazing facialist and human being. My face is doing so well after my lifelong struggle with acne. Not only is she a true gem but the front desk staff--like Baleigh and Stephanie--are truly earth angels and SO much fun to be around. I couldnt recommend this place more. I cant get enough!
Came for the first time with my wife for a couples massage. This was the most incredible experience we have ever had. The spa package was fantastic and the staff is world class. They know how to give you an experience that is not only tailored to you but the most complete experience you will ever have.Thank you to Aaron and Matthew! You two were amazing! I went in a week or so ago for a facial and I mentioned to the esthetician that I have a sensitive skin but now I have a bad reaction. After a day of the facial, my face started burning even when I washed it just with water. Couldnt use even a mild face wash or a moisturizer without my face burning like hell. Now a week a later, my face is all dry, itchy and flaking off. Very disappointed. Dont recommend 😞
Id never had a professional massage before, and a friend recommended this place. The process to schedule was easy, and Daniel was friendly and attentive to areas of pain I was looking to resolve. Overall, this was a good experience. Ill return for sure and recommend it to others.

Amazing experience! One of the best massage I have ever had. Clark worked on areas most massage therapist just quickly touched on like my arms. He did trigger release massage on my arms, my legs, shoulders and back. The pressure is great and the service is first class. Love it! Will be back for more while I am here in Austin.❤️
This five star review is going specifically to Jamie the laser tech. This was my first time getting laser and I have been going for almost a year now and I’ve only stuck with her. She is super informed on the services she provides and is always happy to educate me your answer any questions. I’ve gone to get a massage and pedicure there and have had a completely different experience with staff and workers there but every time I know that I’m going to get my laser with Jamie I never have any problem. That is the main reason that they have kept me going is specifically for her. I recommend her to anyone that is interested in any services that she provides.

Absolutely loved this place! The people who worked here were so kind and generous 10/10 recommend if your looking for a a special day with someone or even a mothers day gift. All the technicians were so kind and took their time on the mani and pedi. Mine was Stephanie and she was the sweetest lady and her nail care was truly impressive! Even when my grandmother felt ill the manager and the technicians made sure she was okay. 100% worth every dime spent.
This was my first visit to Viva Day Spa and it was fantastic. The wine and chocolates were a nice touch to the overall experience. Amber Rowe was my nail technician and she was amazing. Not only was she warm and friendly, she gave me a great suggestions on a polish color. I highly recommend making your next nail appointment with Amber.

Just finished my Viva Diva Spa package and it has been absolutely amazing. My massage and wrap with Ashley was one of the best massages I have ever had. My facial was phenomenal (I can’t remember her name but she had dark curly hair) and my skin looks and feels better than it has in years and the icing on the cake was my mani/pedi with Renee Robinson and she was perfect and my nails are beautiful!! Can’t say enough positive and complimentary things about this spa and the providers. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back 💜🥰💜
This was my first time at Viva Day Spa Domain. I got the express pedicure and it was such a lovely experience. From the warm neck pillows to the delicious chocolates, Viva definitely sets the tone for 100% relaxation. My technician, Sharon, was friendly and professional and I’ll definitely be going back to her for my future visits.
Got a swedish massage from illeana and it was awesome very cozy place didnt have to wait long from my appointment. Feel tremendously better afterwards highly recommend if you work a physical job.Illeana was super professional and made the experience fantastic I wouldnt book with anybody else. Cause she nailed it!
07/21 update: I’m happy to report that since writing my initial review I’ve had a more positive experience with Viva Day Spa. The assistant spa manager Alicia personally called me to apologize and to offer a complimentary massage, which was much better than the first one. At the end of the day, they care about having happy customers.07/04: I went in for a deep tissue massage with Aida. She was friendly, but when I asked her to ease up on the pressure because she was hurting me, she replied “sorry, no pain, no gain” and continued to apply really painful pressure. I came out of the massage feeling more injured and with more tension than what I started with. The next day I couldn’t move my neck.During the massage I was confused because I had read so many good reviews about Aida. But it made sense at the end of the massage, when she asked me to leave a positive review for her on Yelp, claiming it was the final days of a competition within the company to see which employee could get the most reviews. I was really excited to treat myself to an expensive massage. I regret staying the whole time and paying so much for somebody to injure me.
Top notch facial had an unforgettable facial Aleyna! Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable about skincare (she seriously knows her ish 💁♀️), but her fingers possess a magical touch that snatches your face, i swear. I genuinely learned so much about my skin I felt I had received my moneys worth within the first 10 mins. will be back!!

Had an amazing experience two days in a row with Renee at Viva Day Spa. She was so helpful in picking out a color that looks great on me and was by far the friendliest nail artist I have ever had. I will absolutely be coming back to see Renee again for my nail needs! Every customer at Viva seems to be a regular and I now see why. All of the staff are so welcoming and really make you feel at home.

Best massage I’ve ever had: Tim is the best massage therapist. His technique is a hybrid between deep tissue and Swedish. The massage was both therapeutic and relaxing. Book an appt with him—you will be amazed!I took away one star because the spa was freezing. I had to tuck my hands under my body to keep them warm.
I had my first prenatal massage here, as my upper/mid back and hips had been killing me. The massage therapist I had was very knowledgeable about how to work on pregnant bodies and the 90 minutes flew by. Would definitely recommend to any expecting mamas out there!
Got my pregnant wife a facial and massage here for her birthday. I didnt even have to ask if she enjoyed it. She slept for pretty much the entire day afterwards, letting me know that the experience was relaxing and exactly what she needed. Side note: my wife is fine as wine, but when she came out of there with the fresh facial and looking all relaxed 🔥🔥
This is a great place! I took my daughter to get her first facial here this past weekend and she loved it. My wife has gone in for facials, pedicures and to do her eyebrows. Dara is amazing! Shes very helpful and thoughtful and my wife and daughter love her. Well continue to come back. This place is nice and clean and the service is fantastic! I sat in the lobby and notice a steady stream of customers.

I love Jamie so much! I’ve seen her twice now, once for a hydrafacial and once for microneedling. She is so sweet, always answers all of my questions, greets me with a smile and the best positive energy, and gave me a plan that I feel great about. Microneedling was relatively painless due to a numbing gel she used which worked great! Hoping for great results but so far great experience!
I was going to wait about 3 days to leave a review for the custom facial by Gaylynn but I woke up this morning and my skin has improved so much already!I came in after a terrible breakout. I usually have very clear skin but something changed and I was desperate to clear it up before my birthday. I have combination skin and very sensitive so finding someone that can help my skin has been a struggle. Usually I leave a facial with terrible looking skin after a deep cleaning and wait 3 days for the results. but with Gaylynn I left with glowing skin and the spots that she extracted were already calm and less irritated.I woke up this morning and my skin looks soo much better already! Not only did she help my skin but the entire experience was extremely relaxing. She did a lymphatic massage through out the facial and while waiting for certain products to work she massaged my arms and upper back and the aroma therapy was amazing too. I’m just so impressed. As someone that has traveled to many places and has seen many estheticians, Gaylynn by far has been my favorite and I will be booking with her again.My only regret is not taking before and after photos to show y’all the difference. But please if you have combination skin go to her!
I got a facial done last Friday. It was very unpleasant. Caroline had a very strong arm. They usually give you an arm massage as well. I thought my arm was dislocated. My right arm is in so much pain since Friday. My face literally was just poked at and I felt like it was irritated for no reason even after I had mentioned that my face was sensitive..I still had black heads on the same spot that was pinched. I got my eyebrows waxed. I still have some red spots from where she waxed. She pressed down really hard when she was waxing my eyebrows. My eyes were being pushed inside my eye sockets pretty much.
My mom and I came here for the first time this past weekend and were really let down by our experience. As another reviewer mentioned, theres no locker room to store your belongings during your treatment. We were not offered robes or a chance to use a shower before/after treatment. When I asked about using the sauna, I was told that it would be an extra charge. At the price point of this spa ($175 for 75-minute massage, $135 for 60-minute facial), I expect these things to be included. On top of that, my mom said there was about 20 to 30 minutes of her 60-minute facial where the service provider just sat there and did nothing after the face products were applied. Seems strange that there isnt a foot/leg massage given during that time. Overall, there isnt much facility-wise or service-wise that elevates this spa beyond a Hand and Stone or Massage Envy. Its certainly not worth the price and was a disappointing way to spend my birthday.

What an amazing experience! My family and I booked a nice spa day, we got facials all around. Viva was able to accommodate our large group, booking was pretty simple. Everyone came out from their appointment literally glowing! The products used were all extremely gentle, no one had any complaints of irritation. The receptionist and estheticians were welcoming, friendly and patient. I need to book another treat myself day…soon!
Absolutely amazing!! I have had a couple of appointments with Jamie and I am obsessed! I was hesitant about laser for a long time, because of the price and was scared it would hurt! But once you break down the price of the packages and the outcome, it is SO worth it! She answered all my questions so well and made me feel so comfortable. It has doesnt hurt nearly as bad as I thought it would. Jamie was so gentle and caring with every move she made! I have always really struggled with ingrowns and just body hair in general and now I never deal with it, this is literally magic! Everyone at Viva is always so sweet and welcoming. The spa itself is a gem, it is so peaceful and aesthetically pleasing. Jamie is the best and I recommend her to anyone who is wanting laser or is hesitant about starting! The only thing I would change is going in sooner! Thanks Viva for having employees like Jamie, I will be back!

Massage:Comfortable massage chairs, heated chairs, breast pillows to accommodate large breasts, great ambiance.Brazilian wax:Gayland is fabulous!! It was my first time in a looooong time being able to complete the Brazilian wax. It didn’t hurt as much with her for some reason.Laser hair removal:Lip - reduced my lip hair substantially after about 4 session. I am black and I got great results with the laser here.

I especially appreciated my masseuse Aida as this was my first massage and she made sure to explain and demonstrate the different levels of pressure as well as did an amazing job on my target areas and while body I will definitely be coming back again!
I’ve been visiting the Vivia since the beginning of Covid. I was looking for a place that was extra cautious and had extra cleanliness precautions in place. I was so fortunate to give this place a shot. I ended at finding Alex. She is the best nail technician I have ever met. She is thorough and regardless of what’s going on I always get 100% of her attention. She’s a perfectionist. I always leave the salon looking amazing. Her conversations are engaging and seems effortless.
Viva Day Spa + Med Spa is money and time well spent. You go in looking and feeling beat-up and tired, you come out feeling and looking like a billion dollars! Incredible people that really care about you, not just trying to make money off you. AMAZING!!!!
As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the ladies at the front desk! They took care of getting me checked in until it was time for my appointment! I went for a brow wax and Jocelyn did such an amazing job! She made sure I was comfortable and confirmed what I was looking for during my visit. She answered some questions about some other services that Viva Day Spa has and gave me different options for what I could be looking for! Amazing experience (which I have everytime I come in), and I will definitely be booking with her again!
Wonderful self care place!! Great staff! The waiting lounges could be more comfortable. They were a little small (we sat in 2 different ones) and the furniture was not comfortable in either.The treatments were AMAZING!!
A dear friend gave me a gift card to Viva for my birthday. We scheduled the 90min & facial 75min massage. My facial with Jill was AMAZING! She has such an elegant touch and she worked wonders on my skin. My massage with Matt was also AMAZING! He targeted my problem spots and I’m so thankful. I hope to return again soon and visit them both.. ps. Great candle selection in the lobby..
What is there not love about Jamie Villarreal and Viva Med Spa?! I came to Viva for RF microneedling and I can’t imagine anyone else doing it. My skin had difficulty numbing and Jamie was diligent in finding a solution. She is not only completely knowledgeable about the treatments but she is just simply a delight as a person. As painful as the treatments are, she was the highlight for every appointment always greeting me with a warm smile and a cute note on my blanket. I would highly recommend both Jamie and Viva for their professionalism, attention to detail and skincare knowledge. Would not go anywhere else!
This was our second visit to Viva and we did the Couples Massage again. Daniel and Aida were amazing. They blew us away the first time and we couldn’t wait to rebook. They are both professional, friendly, personable and give excellent massages. You won’t be disappointed! Buy one for a friend! We will be back!
Not a fan of the music that was playing during my massage (I personally prefer soft instrumentals) but the deep tissue was exactly what I needed, and the lavender scalp add-on felt amazing.

I got a facial here about two weeks ago, and i was looking forward to it since my husband got me a voucher!! But the facial was sort of strange and very disappointing!! i’ve gotten facials at other places before and always leave with my skin feeling super refreshed, but instead i left Viva Day Spa feeling super oily. (and not in a good way!!) I booked a 90 minute facial but it was a little short of the 90 minutes. there was a point where there was nothing on my face, no face mask, no product, no steaming and i’m guessing my esthetician thought i fell asleep and it sounded like she was tapping away on her phone or something. She tried to also do some weird ASMR tapping on my forehead before examining for extractions, thought that was strange. I had booked extractions in my facial and she had only extracted maybe 3-5 pimples even though i had lots of visible acne. Over the next few days I noticed a lot of white heads popping up on my skin- something that’s never happened before and so looking back I think my esthetician might’ve added used some pore clogging items on my face before closing my pores after the steam. All in all this was a really poor experience, the whole thing felt like a facade which is really sad since these facials do not come cheap! I still have some funds on my voucher so i’ll give them another chance. I did book another facial for next month with another esthetician. I just REALLY REALLY hope it’s much better than my first experience.

Service is amazing results great for injectable’s and super real/not shady…I wanted more dysport and they explained why it was a no and I get that…:(BUT I LOVED THE RESULTS and wanted more. Megan is amazing and jordyn was cool. I absolutely recommend and the front desk staff is amazing… it is a beautiful place, but I’ve seen all sortz of people it’s a chill very laid back place that provides amazing service!!!
What an amazing experience! I had a massage at the Domain location. Such friendly staff. Beautiful relaxation room to wait in before your service. This day Spa is next level! Was not expecting such a luxurious feel, but when I walked though the door I felt like I could leave all my stresses behind and relax. My massage therapist was amazing! Will definitely come back for more massages but also looking into all the medical treatments they do as well. 6/28/19
My fiancée and I got the DELICIOUS DUET COUPLES SPA PACKAGE and it was amazing!!! Tim was my massage therapist and he was wonderful. He had vast knowledge from his 18 years of experience in the industry and was able to answer my questions in a clear concise manner. My questions were related to soreness in areas of my body and he gave my step by step instructions on what I could do to alleviate some of that pain. He explained all the things included in the package very clearly and what each was supposed to do for my body, from the massage, to the dry brush exfoliation, to the vanilla body wrap, to the scalp treatment and so on. I would highly recommend this package for all couples and this spa for any massage therapy.
I had a very positive recent experience at Viva at the Domain, thanks to my masseuse Aida. I have visited all 3 Viva locations for massages over the years and I think this is my favorite one. Even though I find the Domain shopping center itself a bit overwhelming, I prefer this Viva Spa as it is spacious and welcoming, with many available time slots/staff available for treatments. Give yourself 5-10 extra minutes to park in the free garage down the street and walk to the spa.I had been waiting to be fully vaccinated before doing any activities that brought me closer than 6 feet to others, and after getting my 2nd shot, I wanted to get a massage at Viva for my birthday. I initially had some trouble reaching the staff by phone and ended up booking online. Unfortunately I discovered on the day of my visit that my request to add extra time to my booking was not processed, but my masseuse Aida went out of her way to accommodate me. She took all the initiative herself to address the matter and gave up part of her downtime between bookings to squeeze in my request. She was totally resourceful and incredibly sweet at each moment. Being in the service industry myself, I WISH I could say I would be able to troubleshoot a guest issue as gracefully as she did. Thank you Aida! You are a real asset to Viva Day Spa :)

Maddye was amazing! I got the Custom Designer Facial with her yesterday afternoon and I left feeling so relaxed. My skin feels so soft and refreshed. I can’t wait for my next appointment with her!
I got so lucky with Valerie for a massage and Jade for my facial on my first time in! I highly recommend the 90 minute services... you definitely want to maximize time with these heart centered women! Valerie had the perfect pressure while helped me release lots of tension I had stored up. Jade is a ray of light and made me feel so comfortable. She customized the facial for me and had me walking out glowing. Will definitely be coming back !
There is a lot of LOVE poured into this place. What sticks with me the most about my time at VIVA was how truly kind everyone was. I had a massage by Patricia who has magical hands and listened extremely well to what my body needed. The package was for the head trip massage and it was above and beyond worth it! I cannot wait to go back! Then, I had a Shellac manicure with Gloria who was not only meticulous but gentle and more knowledgeable about nails than any nail tech Ive ever had. I mentioned to the Gloria how kind everyone is there and she said its literally the entire staff and that is so OBVIOUS in each interaction! Clearly this place not only truly values their employees (as theyve all been there for years) but it shows in customer service! This place doesnt just make you feel incredible, it feeds your soul. Patricias best advice that will stick with me forever was, lead with love. Written on the wall of the spa it says Spread the Love..........This business is truly doing that with every single service!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the best massage experiences Ive had! Got the Head Trip Massage package for my friend and me -- soooo relaxing. KATHLEEN and CLAUDIA were wonderful -- so professional and kind. My friend and I both agreed that the massages did not feel rushed or like they were just going through the motions on autopilot. It really felt like these ladies put care into the treatment. The focus on the top half of the body really gave the massage therapists time to get deep in those shoulder blades and neck to work out all of the tension. And the mint scalp massage... Oh. My. Goodness... Heavenly! The cooling sensation lasted for about an hour post massage, which was glorious as we walked around the Domain on that warm, spring day. **Keep in mind that they do not wash out the mint scalp treatment. No biggie -- It didnt leave my hair very greasy at all -- but you will definitely want to put your hair up if you plan on walking around in public after your treatment. I guess what Im saying is, dont get this massage and expect that the hairdo you came in with is the hairdo you will leave with... Unless that hairdo is a messy bun. ;)
Hydro facials are my favorite here. I use their medspa for botox, sculptra, laser treatments, and products. They are great at keeping track of appointment, points, services, and pre-purchases packages.Would highly recommend.
I purchased their Vivafy Spa Package (massage and facial) at the Domain location. My massage was excellent. I have poor posture and my back is always tense. Daniel was great and took notice to the tight knots and all. My facial was with Madeline. She was great and really looked at what was going on with my face such as blackheads, acne, etc... The front desk staff are awesome, too. Ive been to a lot of day spas in different cities in the US and this is one of the best Ive been to.
Ive been here twice. For Massage and Botox.Their massage is amazing, they pay attention to your sore parts of the body. All staff are very friendly and polite.The lady who did the Botox for me, very nice, makes recommendations and works quickly and painlessly.I would give 10 stars to this place, 5 is not enough ;)
I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage about a week ago with Matthew, and his skill and customer care far exceeded my expectations. I’ve been having trouble with my lower back for weeks, difficulty sleeping and all the pain I could handle. I don’t normally get massages or really engage in self care, and wasn’t sure what to expect.Can’t say enough about Matthew’s level of professionalism, his knowledge and easy demeanor. He set me at ease and walked me through every movement and area he worked, it absolutely fixed my issue and I just generally enjoyed talking with him. Viva’s facilities are beautiful and they clearly have professionals to cater to every type of client. Matthew made me a believer, give him and Viva a shot! I know I’ll be back.
Vivas new location is absolutely stunning and has the same quality of service one has come to expect from this incredible spa. Plus, this location offers med spa services! I just went to Viva at the Domain for a med spa service and it was beyond perfect. At other spas, Ive always been nervous before a treatment; but Viva was completely different in the best possible way. I saw Brittany who was so knowledgeable, professional and personable that I was completely at ease. I was confident in her skills before my treatment and was thrilled with the results afterwards. All the staff is so friendly and professional. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. Ive recommended Viva to all my friends and cant wait to go back again!
First thing I was greeted by a very kind lady. Her voice was so relaxing and welcoming, she offered the restroom to me before I sat down to get my 2 hour mani/pedicure which I appreciated so much cause as someone with social anxiety I won’t ask and I’ll sit there uncomfortable the whole time so that really helped. She then offered me a beverage right after I returned from the bathroom and made me feel so comfortable. The lady who did my nails was so kind as well she made me hot tea and gave me a hot neck pillow and kept turning my massage chair back on for me while my nails were wet without me having to ask. Again a huge plus for someone with social anxiety. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of 5 is because the chairs are pretty close together so it’s a tad awkward sitting that’s close to strangers trying to relax. And I had some bubbling in majority of my nails, when they found out they fixed the problem right away they offered me to come back in for a free fix but because I don’t live here and I’m visiting I couldn’t get back in so instead they issued me a refund which I was very pleased with the care and response by Marleigh she’s so helpful. When I visit Austin again I’ll be back.
Went in for some much needed R&R. I had the deluxe viva rocks massage with Carrie, and it was the best spa experience I’ve ever had in Austin! I highly recommend her specifically and this place for your massage needs!! The front desk staff was super friendly and personable! This was an all around great experience from beginning to end!The only comment I would make: The only thing missing was a bath robe & shower option (for afterwards) and I would never need to go anywhere else for that “spa” experience!! :)
I have been coming here for a few months after taking advantage of their laser hair removal deal. I continue to come for maintenance. This location has been fantastic.Staff is super friendly always calls if something changes and try to make your wait should you have any super comfortable. I have seen many different techs all have been fantastic.They keep the building super clean and are very good about covid-19 precautions. Overall I highly recommend this location to anyone interested in spa or laser removals.

Melt your muscles! First of all the receptionist are so pleasant! They start the atmospheric intentions of relaxation. My masseuse was Denise, she was very sweet and friendly. I did a 60 minute Deep Tissue with her. WOW! My muscles were super tight from the holiday craze, but she actually made space between my neck and shoulders! She had the perfect pressure and lightened the pressure on areas she assumed were more sensitive, which was spot on!! I will definitely Schedule with her again and would recommend her!
Love it here. I booked a mani and pedi for 4 girls, a birthday celebration and we loved it. Viva is very aesthetic and relaxing. The ambiance is great and the technicians were all very sweet and caring. Sharon was great, my nails look beautiful. She was super sweet and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. She brought cucumber water with a warm neck pillow that I enjoyed while getting my nails done. I highly recommend.
I was SOOOOO HAPPPY with my massage with Carrie. She is PHENOMENAL and on a scale of 1-10 she is an 11!!I suffer from chronic pain, carpal tunnel, sciatica, migraines and she worked magic on me. I made a follow up appointment, and learned she books up really fast, so I will be sure to make regular appointments with her.The reason I gave 4 stars was the customer service from the front desk staff. When I checked in the first young lady was very polite. When I went to check out the 2nd young lady with red hair was not as friendly and a bit dismissive. It is a busy salon, and I felt rushed. After coming out of a massage I would expect a more patient check out. I am definitely coming back because of Carrie and hope to be able to change this rating to 5 and treated a bit better when I return.Update - visited a 2nd time, front staff so pleasant, patient, willing and not feeling rushed. 5 stars!
Loved everything about it. Ive had lip injections before elsewhere and the skill and outcome from my injector here blew my mind compared to the other highly rated spas Ive been to. The staff was great, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the quality of their service is so great. Im incredibly happy with my service and definitely recommend for what I received.

Samantha at the Domain location did my deep tissue massage, and itwas phenomenal. She had great attention to detail, and the pressure was just right. I highly recommend. Daniel, I believe, did my wife’s hot stone massage and she also loved her massage. We will be back!
Absolutely loved this place!! First off everyone was so friendly and the spa is so cute/relaxing! I had a facial done by Morgan and it exceeded my expectations by far! She went above and beyond and answered all my questions and really took the time to ask about my skin concerns and gave me some great feedback and suggestions. After a couple weeks of using almost all of the products she reccomended I can noticeably see a difference in my skin! I highly highly recommend her and will definitely be coming back!!
We chose Viva Spa Domain to host us during our friend’s bachelorette weekend; best.decision.ever! All 6 of the ladies that got services were beyond satisfied. My massage therapist was Jane & she was A-MAY-ZING! I was able to interact with the manager (Ana). She was able to resolve a small issue for us quickly & with the utmost professionalism. I would definitely recommend Viva Spa to anyone looking for the services they offer!

I just had a hydra facial today with Morgan. My experience from start to finish was nothing short of amazing! The ladies at the front desk were extremely kind and welcoming. Morgan was top notch and I was able to get my own personalized skincare plan from her. Now I finally know what to use on my skin for real results. I left with glowing skin and immediate results. Extremely impressed!!!
I just had the best massage of my life. John was incredible. Super firm and targeted massage to work my sore spots. He was also very communicative and educated me in how to stretch those sore spots going forward. If you are looking for just a fluffy, Swedish massage - hes not your man. He was able to work out so many knots and bring my lower back pain down by 1/2, but it did require firm pressure. I would absolutely go back to see him.
I really wanted to like this place and honestly i’m still holding out hope for them because everyone was super nice. My issue was with an eyebrow wax I received… I have had a decent amount of eyebrow waxes but nothing compares to this…One of them was waxed way too thin when I just asked to have them cleaned up so it is very uneven but I didn’t want the other one to be thin also so it’s whatever my eyebrows grow fast so it’s fine if that was the only problem…My skin is literally burned. I can’t shower, touch my face, work out, go in the sun, etc without my skin feeling like it’s going to sizzle off. It is incredibly painful so i’m pretty upset.I’m still holding out hope that they are good at other things possibly but I wouldn’t recommend their waxing services

Normally the experience at amazing, great welcome, excellent guidance to service and the service runs the amount allotted and awesome service. Last week all was true except for the service. It ran 20 mins short and the area that needed attention (sore muscle) was not resolved. When leaving I asked the what to do to overcome my issue and told come back again for an 60-90 service. Well that was the service I came in for,90 min massage.
This is such a great place! The ambience is so relaxing from the moment you step in the door. You can choose to have a complimentary consultation and go over anything you’d like to get done. I got lip filler done with Megan, and it was such an awesome experience! She was so patient, gentle, and kind. I definitely will be returning!

Came for pedicures, a group of four of us. We booked it over a month in advance. They called less than two weeks before saying they couldnt fit all four of us in at one time. I was upset and called back, the manager I spoke with told me over the phone that she could tell the booking agent didnt try at all to see if she could get four nail techs in there on that day to service us and she would get back to me. She got back to me that afternoon and told me they figured it out and offered us a complementary upgrade foot hydration for the inconvenience. Monday came around and we arrive for our pedicure. Not at all the spa experience we were expecting. We were ignored when we first walked in, pedicures were completed in the lobby in a rush. Most spas you are in a back room private/quiet area not where other customers are present checking in or buying gift cards. Every single one of us felt the same way that the nail techs rushed thru the services and that each one of us got different treatment even though I booked us all the same pedicure. Definitely not worth the $70, we will definitely not be back and will continue to go back to our local nail salons where we get better service at a cheaper price.
I had a Viva Vital facial with Hannah last Monday and it was glorious! She is super knowledgeable and very relaxing. It’s difficult to find a great blend of results with a calming experience but Hannah masters the balance. I prebooked for my birthday and I’m so very much looking forward to it.
I knew that I needed this spa day more so than ever, but I have to admit I was a little nervous due to our certain situation. My nerves were instantly put to ease as soon as I walked in the door. The safety precautions at Viva were top notch and I felt very safe. What an amazing staff, treatment, and experience all around especially during these crazy times when we have to be very aware. Never had a nail anything y’all. Wife was like “hey pedicure.. let’s go.. ya feet nasty..” I said “ esta loca?! Feet nasty! I use lotion”So we booked with viva. Fast forward, and I got 2 wine glass in and Alex called me over.. was I nervous.. yes. But she hit me with the 1.2.3 count man.Foot tub - warm and the jets were relaxingChocolates - I love em man.. they’re chocolateMassage chair - it works, feels greatAlex made the session run smooth and enjoyable. Bro my feet are clean and smooth!Booked for next month and would totally recommend!!
This was my first time getting a mani/pedi and my technician Renee Robinson was absolutely phenomenal. She made me feel relaxed and was constantly checking I was comfortable and adjusting if I wasn’t. She made the experience truly wonderful and I will request her the next time I’m in.
Our appointment was canceled for no reason & if it wasnt for me calling to confirm I would of never known. But the receptionist was able to get me +1 in at the time we originally planned on going. We both had a mothers day package and it was great. Chelsea was AMAZING, I highly recommend her and I definitely will be back for her services.
I was taken here by a couple of my bridesmaids as a surprise and everyone was awesome! I had never had a massage before and Kelly walked me through the process super thoroughly. The whole experience was so relaxing and just what I needed, Kelly was very professional and I feel so much better! Hopefully one day Ill be back!

It saves a nice amount and you get to know some of the service providers who are delightful even for the single visit.The closest parking garage is either the one behind Nordstroms or around the corner from Amazon books. Park, get a massage, and then maybe grab a bite to eat after. 💆♂️
I REALLY was looking forward to this appointment. It was for my birthday. We were 10 mins late for a two hour appointment, I completely accept fault on that account. But, It was made clear to us from the moment we arrived that would drastically affect the service and treatment we would be receiving. And it was brought up for the reason for the lack of successful outcomes for the rest of the appointment. My nail manicurist brought up her following appointment even twenty mins for the whole two hours.My manicure was completed first and I was informed I would not be receiving a hand massage so she could focus on a proper pedicure treatment. She used a very worn bottle of top coat that left copious amount of bubbles in all my nails. So not only is it rushed, it is done very poorly, I watched as the manicurist removed large chunks and hair from the nail polish as she went.During the pedicure I also did not receive an massage or scrub, when I informed her my nails on my hand were all covered in bubbles. I then proceeded to have to show every nail tech my nails to confirm there were bubbles. My nail tech notified me she would redo all my nails to fix it. Therefore not providing me any massage with my two hour appointment.She than proceeded to not redo my nails but instead simply put on another top coat of a new bottle of top coat and which did not remove the bubbles but at this point I was so tired by the experience I wanted to go home. I was able to go with a friend who was in the same time received a hand massage and leg message, therefore it was even more clear that it was not a time issue at all.For $100 I received a worse paint job than I can get doing it myself at home and a more uncomfortable experience.I waited months for appointment, I wrongly assumed that was because this was a good nail salon but that could not be further from the truth.I will not the fault the nail tech in being nice, and she was very nice but the end result was not even improved by feeling more relaxed at the end as I received no relaxation practices or massage.

Super relaxing pedicure by Marcela, she was amazing and did a great job! Really tried to cover all aspects of service to ensure a relaxing and pleasant experience. From heated neck pillow to massage seat to relax room in back to wait for toes to dry...very nice, and the wine and chocolates were a great touch!

This is a nice day spa. Theres easy access to parking and they seem to have good availability in terms of appointment times. Staff is friendly. However, they encourage tipping on *medical* services which is big no no. And by encouraging I mean even mentioning the word tip/gratuity at check out. Thats pretty crass and definitely frowned upon in the medical community. Obviously tipping aestheticians for great service is standard, but nurses, doctors, and physician assistants for medical services is not. I did raise this with a very nice manager and she said something about bad card readers so they needed to tell people. My issue with this response is it’s not the context for how tipping was raised. They never say “ignore the tipping prompt on the reader” or “please don’t feel obligated to tip, the machine just forces you to click past that page”…they say “please feel free to leave gratuity” which is much more suggestive. That said, if you go for a medical service...botox, injectables etc, DON’T tip even if they mention it at checkout.
Jenny is the absolute best I came after a really bad experience with a plastic surgeon and was very nervous I would faint. She comforted me and my lips are so natural and amazing. She is so easy to talk to and never oversells, I wanted more and she said I did not need anything else. She’s honest and very professional I would send any one here and have had 3 friends come too! I fly back from Canada just to see Jenny!!

Everyone has Viva is fantastic. They were able to schedule me a last minute appointment on the weekend to fit my schedule. I was seen by Seema (Nurse Practitioner) and she was so sweet, sincere and talked me through all of my questions and specifics. She put me at ease and was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend viva and Seema!
I absolutely loved this place. Was immediately greeted, offered wine or other beverages and than brought to my massage. The massage therapist was pleasant, informative and extremely knowledgeable in her field. She was very thorough, as well. I also had the pleasure of visiting the esthetician. The experience was wonderful. Walked away with cards of both therapists and definite plans on returning again. Excellent spa, professional and worth the money.
I had lingering nerve pain from a shoulder injury from lifting and got a sports massage from Sage. She was a fellow lifter and able to understand my problem and offer helpful advice. The massage greatly reduced my pain and inflammation and I have had much less pain both during my work outs and during regular activity since.
Ambience is really low lit and nice. The staff is really nice and welcoming. Brittany gave a great massage and was aware and attentive of all of my concerns. I was really happy with my appointment and that I could book such a late time slot, same day.
My husband got me a manicure/pedicure here for Christmas. Overall its a really nice spa. The woman at the counter was very welcoming and got me hot tea right away. The woman who did my mani/pedi did a great job and was also really nice. I had a good time chatting with her. Its easy to find because theres parking just a few stores away (Red Garage) and they gave great directions to help me find it. The only downside was the nail area wasnt separated from the entrance, so I could see and hear everyone coming in.
Had outstanding customer service from Summer and Sophie! Led us in the right direction and was so professional. Viva is lucky to have employees so kind and loyal.
Viva at the Domain is gorgeous. Its the most luxurious spa in Austin - its modern and natural with an Austin VIBE. I have had a facial, laser hair treatment and med spa treatments here. All my therapists were caring and have a gentle touch, just like you would expect from Viva. Its so exciting to have a one stop shop for my med spa AND regular spa treatments. Viva gift cards make great gifts for your friends and family - they will love you more :) Looking forward to my next treatment coming up!!
My first time here and I must say that I was truly impressed! I had the Delicious spa package with Trace and he was awesome. Lovely scheduled my service and she was very knowledgeable able the spa services and took the time to ensure I had an experience to suit my needs. I will be back very soon and Im bringing friends!
I visited Viva Day Spa at the Domain and had a 90 minutes couples massage. It was the best massage and experience I have ever had at a spa. From the front desk to the therapist, it was amazing! The facility is gorgeous and the staff is so professional. I recommend everyone to go to Viva Day Spa.
Booked over the phone and at the time of booking gave my personal info including my card for payment. Everything went well with the masseuses and the massage was overall great! My only problem was with the front desk. At the end of our massages we walked out and the check in area was very busy. My partner and I were just standing around not knowing if we had to check out or if we were good to go. Since no one told us anything or acknowledge us and me knowing that I had already given my card info over the phone I figured that we were good to go. So we did, we left. About 45min after leaving I get a call from the front desk and very rudely she starts mentioning that I didn’t check out and that I “had happen to walk out” which I did, I apologized and told her my reasoning of doing so which she followed by saying that I still had to check out. Ok no problem now I understand, what made me upset is that after me explaining my reasoning and apologizing she kept on bringing it up saying things like “it’s common sense to check out” which was very unnecessary. I then told her that I didn’t like the way she was talking to me, making those unnecessary comments and hanged up. It stinks that my whole experience was ruined by that one specific person and that one call. This whole situation could of been avoided if the front desk would of handled this incident differently.
I had a 60 minute CBD massage with Tim D tonight and it was amazing. I told him what was hurting and that i hadn’t gotten a massage in 4 years. He made me feel so comfortable and helped my pain so much! 1000/10!
They made me feel so special on my birthday! I was accommodated last-minute AND they gave my add-ons/a great discount to celebrate me:)
