The eagle is pretty far away but we gave it a chance for bingo. It was around 3 or 4 and they were out of many items but we managed to get queso and onion rings. Disgusting is an understatement. The queso was solid and not silky as it should be. The onion rings were flaccid and incredibly oily and salty. The drinks were strong and the bartender was great. The ambiance could use some work. Anyway, wish I could say it was fun but that food was atrocious.
What a perfect kink-friendly environment. This is a restaurant and a night club.I really love this place, and the all are welcome atmosphere. While it gets a lot busier than I prefer to be in on the weekends, weeknights are such a great place to enjoy that same vibe without so many people that you can move around and enjoy being among people that feel like friends.Be ready to be accepting of all kinds of people, since we all have a place here!
Its nice the prices are a lil high on drinks I just had a few for it to be open at 3 and serving one would think happy hour prices but they arent. The restrooms arent female friendly because guys dont aim very well and its gross . Other than that its a nice place to be at for a few hours.
Austin finally got an Eagle! While it’s not lewd, lascivious, dirty, sleazy, or glamorous like the other eagles it has a very uniquely “Austin” charm about it and the bar staff and owners are fantastic.
Went for the first time couple weeks ago. Great safe place to dance and be yourself. Saw DJ Boost playing and he was awesome! Def will go back when he’s on again.
First time there 3/1. Asked for a rum&Coke and a beer for my friend and received attitude immediately! For absolutely no reason at all Apparently the bar tender couldn’t hear me because there was 6 feet of counter space between us. When I went back for a second round I received attitude again from him so I’m not sure what his problem was other than he hates his job and didn’t want to be there. When I went to close out a different bar tender was there and the interaction was normal.
The Austin Eagle is an amazing place. Its a great experience and more. The food is delicious. If you feel there is a wait, trust me its worth it.
Highly recommend. Friendly staff, drinks are amazing (Frozen Whiskey and Coke) and very welcoming.
Such a great place for community! Pup Karaoke with the amazing Pup Ace is a great time for critters and friends of critters. The food tastes good and is not too expensive. This is a place that you can hang out judgement free—a safe space
The drinks are STRONG!Love the gay energy of this place. Bar staff was very welcoming and the crowd was really friendly and fun.
The Austin Eagle is a true gem that somehow transitions from a delightful daytime dining spot to a thrilling badass bar at night (not sure how they take those tables out so fast). The food is is really good. I wish theyd had a chicken fried steak night. The music is always on point. This place truly offers the best of both worlds, and is exactly what Austin needed. I do would love to see more decorations.
I have enjoyed each of my visits to The Austin Eagle. What a fun addition to Austin. Most recently, I attended a delicious brunch there. Run and get those fried potatoes! On another recent event, I enjoyed their garlic parm wings and they were the best Ive had in town. The staff is fine and friendly and its really a good, all around time. I suggest checking their social media to see what night might fight your vibe, and checking it out for yourself. When you visit, make sure to head all the way to the back of the patio to catch some cool art and to see the red chair.
We were vacationing in Austin, Texas. Decided to check this eagle out. It was nice, both times we went was empty. But the service was good, and people were nice. 😊 thanks
Great staff and customer service. So friendly and laid back. Wanna dance: hit the dance floor. Wanna chill: stay indoors or go out to the patio/outdoor area. A great time for all! Cool t- shirts too!
Such a positive experience here! Ill try to start from the begining but this will be a long review... (and no, Im not affiliated with the Eagle in any way)Finding the Austin Eagle was easy - Google Maps gets everything right, and the parking situation is simple (lot out front, additional parking beyond or street parking if needed). When you enter, the space is comfortable but edgy, great decor even though its still so very new! EXTREMELY friendly staff! I cant say enough good things about the staff. Ill call out Sonya and Pablo by name for being awesome, but the others whose names I didnt get were also super sweet and friendly and made me feel immediately welcome where as a woman Id been expecting to feel a little out of place. The food, OMG the food. It is not your typical bar food! The Sunday brunch is 100% worth your while to check out, its exceptionally good. Big, thick pancakes, shockingly delicious breakfast tacos, sweet French toast... But the potatoes are really where its at, they are just to die for. The regular menu is great as well, all of the dishes are customizable if you are vegetation, many can be made totally vegan, and theyll flag any food allergies or sensitivities like gluten and actually cook your food in a separate, clean pan/container. Plus a smaller late night menu Thursday through Saturday, stuff youd find on most bar menus but a waaaay higher quality of food. Austin Eagle is ON IT.Fun non-standard cocktails. Little pitchers of water if you want a big glass (too cute!). Gender neutral bathrooms. Outdoor patio with extra seating that wraps around the side of the building. Its a very cool space. Great sound system, seems like good choice in DJ partnerships the times I went, perfect for dancing and having a great evening. Bootblack stand(s).I was so impressed by how the Austin Eagle supported Onyx Pearls Lustre Southwest for their 2023 anniversary weekend (3 years strong)! Even though the majority of clientele are probably gay men, the Eagle put a ton of effort into welcoming and partnering with BIPOC women of leather, which to my mind showcases exactly the kind of inclusivity that the leather community was founded on. Props, yall!Im planning to spend more time at the Austin Eagle after this first weekend experience there went so very well. Im excited to have a dedicated space in town for leather and fetish folx. My feeling is that the Austin Eagle really is looking for ways to serve our community, so I want to support them right back.I dont leave a glowing review like this, lightly. But they earned all 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The place is ok right in the neighborhood Tuesday and Wednesday I heard are the best days to go and Sundays
Fabulous vibes, very casual and chill atmosphere! I love Hexa’s music selection, she created a queer space that I feel very comfortable to be in. The drive to the Eagle is worth it y’all!
Not what youd expect for a leather bar.located in a strip mall and rather tiny.not many people were there on a friday night- kinda boring. had a woman bartender which kinda detracts from the whole theme. and the location is a bit farther out from the main gay bar areas in austin.
Husband and I dropped in to meet some friends. We had a party of 8.The space was clean clean clean. Our server greater us promptly and beverages delivered quickly. A few in our party had beer (they have a nice selection of beer), while others stuck to water and iced tea. (I had a lightly sweetened sweet tea and it was perfect)We shared a few appetizers. We sampled the onion rings, fried mushrooms and The Tater Cake Jumbos. Everything was prepared fresh and delivered piping hot to their table. On to burgers. Omg. Dats one tasty burger. I had the Eagle Burger (half pound with Eagle sauce, lettuce, pickles, tomato. Medium. Skipped the onion but thats just my preference. )The burger was cooked perfectly and came with a generous side of seasoned fries. I dislike ketchup ( thats just me again) so asked for some BBQ sauce for my fries. The server brought me a fresh cup of Jack Daniels BBQ sauce. I am not sure if they make this blend there, but it was absolutely delightful and next time, will have that on my burger. We visited during weekend lunch service so the mood was energetic with an easy energy that was enjoyed by all.Oh. I was crushing hard on our server. He had a smile and playfulness that had me grinning ear to ear. He was friendly and delightfully engaged with the energy of our party. ( just a group of friends that realized we havent seen each other since COVID and perhaps our enthusiasm was apparent.)Bottom line. Well be back. There is a whole bunch of menu we still need to sample. And as working folk, Tuesdays may be hard, but I fully intend to get down there to Tuesday Steak Night. No bad news here on any level. Theres adequate parking for day visits for sure . And supporting a new venue that is LBGQT positive with EXCEPTIONAL food, cleanliness and friendly, efficient staffing... you cant go wrong with a visit to this new and exciting business in East Austin.
In Austins city, bold and free, The Eagle spreads its wings with glee. A leather haven, dark and raw, Where passion breaks all social law.The scent of leather fills the air, As patrons strut with pride and flair. With harness, cuffs, and boots of black, They forge ahead, no looking back.A dungeons call, a masters reign, In Eagles lair, they break the chain. With whips and chains, desires burn, Each fantasy shall have its turn. The dance floor roars with bodies pressed, As leather-clad hearts beat in chests. In every corner, love is found, As Eagles pulse reverbs the sound. The night, a carnival of dreams, Where all can be, no matter seems. In leather, love, and liberty, The Austin Eagle sets them free.So toast to love in every form, At Eagles nest, a refuge warm. In leather glory, ever bright, The Austin Eagle soars in flight.
The Austin Eagle is a great neighborhood bar with friendly staff and customers.
I liked the place. Good service and atmosphere. I would only advise them to play more music from the 70/80/90s. Great classics. They only had dance ceiling music. Its a little boring.
This is the best bar in Austin Texas I love all the bartenders and the staff they all are very nice and friendly I let all my friends know and tell them to come here and party and say hi... to Miguel Pablo Nathan and the whole crew. Thanks to everyone
It takes a particularly great experience to get me to come leave a review, but this weekend The Eagle helped me feel welcome and seen. Notably, Josh the bartender was so wonderful that we kept coming back!
Very welcoming place🌈. Staff is great with fast service. Nice music and a super chill vibe. Great place to go if you dont want to deal with downtown craziness!
An incredibly welcoming atmosphere, wonderful to hang out and relax. I’ll definitely be coming back. Good to see a new bar opening where I don’t have to deal with the downtown noise.
Upscale food, mid-shelf wells, bangin sound system, free wifi, and massive outdoor space?!? What more could you ask for? I especially love the Meatballs with the Goat Cheese or the Chorizo... two of the many great options!
Was a fun and lively party experience! The people there were lovely and the vibe was immaculate 😁
My new favorite bar in Austin! Great weekday specials and the bar food is top notch!
I love the Austin Eagle, Pablo the manager is so inviting, he is warm and friendly. I always look forward to going because of how welcoming he makes it
Everything here was amazing, the food the drinks the environment. Bartenders are super nice and friendly, 100% recommend I fealt super comfy. ❤️
Great atmosphere, drinks, food, service, and environment. Affordable, fun, and very welcoming. Cheers to a much-needed addition to the LGBTQ+ community!
Great place to come out and find community.
My favorite bar in Austin! Delicious food during the day, devilish fun at night. Chill vibes, sexy bodies, and BDSM~
The Austin Eagle opening is a sign that the leather community in Austin has grown strong. The food is as high quality as the leather folks attending.
Awesome place to hang out and make new friends
The burgers are awesome, the servers are awesome, this bar is going to be very popular! I suggest management work in additional parking lol
Fun neighborhood bar and community space with much better food than you might expect
Wife works close to this bar and we love coming here and getting the cheesesteaks! So good!
Great place .just opened but like any new place Im sure it will be wonderful for the gay community.cant wait to see what else they do .
Music sucks. I was there Sunday. If nobody is dancing to the music wouldnt you assume that they arent into the music?
Great bar
Uber to the middle of no where and was greeted rudely at the entrance we needed a wrist band to get in. Nothing noted on their website about this. Will never go back.
I have never been roofied at the Eagle which is a better track record than 4th.
Welcome to Austin! Love the new Austin Eagle Shirt! Well be back for Steak Night on Tuesday! 😍😘😘
Nice bar and was fun and. Ery friendly staff. Must try place in Austin.
I can’t wait to get back and see y’all. Welcome to Austin. We are happy to have you.
From out of town, but this place lived up to its ratings. Highly recommended!

Very chill place to hang out...
Amazing Place only stayed for about a hour. The staff made you feel comfortable. The show they had going on was pretty nice. The drinks were kind of expensive....but otherwise it was a fun place to visit. Its definitely not a typical Eagle bar, so just a heads up.
I love this place its very nice
