I happened to pass by this place in the daytime and took a look inside, it seemed interesting. I went to where I needed to be first, and on my way back I decided to stop for a drink. The bartender was friendly, the bar was quiet, which I expected for a weekday. I enjoyed a margarita and a Jack Daniels. I plan to return on a weekend to see what the nightlife is like.

This place is dope. Do you remember the Infinity room the Broad museum had a while back? First time walking in, it felt like that - the lighting is so cool! The vibe is great, Mexican through and through, and I wish wed come later at night, you can just tell it gets lit. Drinks were good too, nothin like an authentic Paloma🤤

This is a great downtown LA bar that has a pretty descent sized dance floor. The outdoor patio is pretty cool with that red light. There’s about two bars with enough bartenders so getting a drink is not that long unless it’s super busy. Solid drinks & the crowd is pretty chill with lots of people ready to dance.I’d definitely come back here again & it’s always a great post laker, dodger spot.

The night that I came to this bar it was cash only and online it said it was a $10 entrance but when I arrived it was a $20 entrance. After already paying parking I didnt expect to pay for higher fee. Especially because I checked online prior to coming out here. I dont live close by at all so it was really disappointing.I have had a couple issues in this bar with guys that are rude. It can get stuffy in the dance area and its a relief to walk to the back patio. Great music, great vibes, great atmosphere. Just wish there would be more honest about the price online versus in person.Update: after coming here for many years and never being problematic. I was kicked out a week ago for smoking in the smoking patio. Apparently you cannot smoke weed anymore. I did not know this I turned off my joint right away and apologize for not knowing. The security guard told me it doesnt matter if I turn it off the manager wanted me out. I had never met this person before I didnt even know there was a manager. I approached the manager and let them know I already turned off the joint theres no need for me to leave. He came very aggressively toward me and told me to go. I asked whats the problem if I already turned it off? Like I said I just didnt know. He said really because theres a sign out front. I told him I never saw the sign.I felt so humiliated. I love the vibe the music here but I did not expect that kind of treatment at all. And of course it was from other Latinos as a Latina myself I did not expect to be mistreated at a bar Ive been coming to for 10 years..I would probably come again because I like it but I definitely felt messed up about it.

Fun place, they got a patio out back and its really big and there another bar section so you dont have to walk all the way inside pretty convenient I would say, especially once those drinks start to kick in, the dance floor is kinda small but the prices on the drinks are not too bad overall I think this place is good if you want to party and have a smoke outside is perfect. There is lots of sitting as well in the patio.

Very fun place. Its a little pricey as one would expect being right in Downtown Los Angeles. But the vibes kind of make up for it.I came in here on a weekday night when the place wasnt really hype. But there was still a very upbeat vibe with cool red lights. This place has a very nice patio. Thats where we sat when visiting this place. You can definitely tell that this place fills up during prime times. There were spots for dancing and the music that was playing was upbeat and loud.Overall, I had a great experience with this bar. It had a very upbeat vibe and a nice patio.

If you like Latino music and dance, this is the spot.I came on a Friday night, they charged $15 cash for admission fee. Of course, there are many people on the “guest list”.Parking right next door charges $20, but if you are ok with walking for like 1 to 2 blocks, they have $10 lots too. They have different live bands playing different music all night. At 1:20am they will come to you and tell you the club is closing in 10min.The house drinks are so so, I recommend paying a bit more for the better liquor. The outdoor area is very nice and good for some fresh air.The dancing pit is not THAT big but fun. Many love birds there :)I would recommend it!

I witnessed security physically assault a man to the extend of him having his skull broken. Management had zero protocol to call an ambulance and didn’t get the man ice until the people standing in line had to tell them. They were treating everyone in the line disrespectful and still have the audacity to charge a $25 cover charge but can’t even hire competent staff and security. After witnessing this brutal assault on this man it killed the night for my group and we left. They tried to keep our cover charge money too since we hadn’t walked in yet when all this went down. I would not recommend this bar ever again and i will not be returning.

I just got my phone stolen I tried to see if they had a lost and found i went to try to speak to a staff member that worked there but they where so rude and started screaming at us shut the door in our face! they did not want to open the door and let us ask any question. That is not ok for these thieves to be doing that to people! Get a life or a job! No one should have to go through that and get their personal belongings stolen! And someone that works around the bar believes that the owners of this bar have some type of involvement with these pick pocket thieves. Do not waste your and money in this place because clearly they don’t have the best interest!

This is the worst bar/club to go to in DTLA. They overprice everything here like it’s not even fair. I went out on a Wednesday night, got hit with the $20 cover, cash only, didn’t have any cash so I had to use their ATM, which charged me $8 to withdraw $20. Then I went in and order a few shots with some friends, this where they robbed us without shame, because who charges $18 for a shot of basic tequila? Well they do. I said I’ll never go back, but a few months later I found myself back there on a Tuesday(no cover) night and said to my friends not to spend a penny in there, but when we got in I thought let me get couple beers and a water for the homie that had to much already, this time I got hit with a bill of $23 for two Pacifico beers and a bottle of water. That’s highway robbery and you should avoid this piece of place by all means or else you’ll get robbed too because the owner got no mercy.

Honestly came here based on two recommendations but definitely would not recommend. Bar is super slow or short staff. Alcohol drinks are over priced and watered down. Requested a double of vodka and shot of tequila still coherent. Majority of individuals here are young rude women that do not understand you are bound to bump into someone due to the tight space. Was literally pushed by a girl bc I accidentally bumped into her and the bouncer did not do anything. Overall below mediocre Latin club. Music on Saturday night is contemporary Latin with Hip pop and the track simply sucks; feels like I’m listening to the radio.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the way I was treated by your staff on [02/23/2024]. I was enjoying myself and spending money at your bar when I was suddenly and without explanation taken away by security. I believe this was due to a false accusation of wrongdoing, as I was not doing anything wrong. I am a law-abiding citizen and I expect to be treated with respect. I would like to know why I was kicked out and I would like to see any video footage that you may have of the incident. I am confident that this footage will exonerate me. I went last night and the music was not good at all. People did not look like they were having fun. The dj was playing music that nobody knew. I know because I asked people around and that was the answer I got. The bartender was very slow, they either need another bartender to move the line faster. The worst part was that as I was leaving (because of the reasons mentioned) I got stuck trying to get out. There was too many people by the entrance and we couldnt move. The security guard was there and was doing nothing to move people out. This was extremely dangerous. If there is ever an emergency, this can be a disaster.

This place shouldve closed down during COVID, place is really shady I dont recommend going here at all, business owner doesnt care about the place lots of thieves have been going here and pick pocketing people and nothing has been done, these thieves have been targeting people who have been drinking taking advantage of the situation. The thieves keep coming back to the same location repeatedly especially during events and the business owner hasnt done anything about it and security doesnt do their job when it happens, what I believe about this place and why they keep coming back is because the business owner hires these people to steal and make profit ever since they started begging for money during COVID to keep the place open it makes more sense and if you really care about your business you would do something about these thieves but they dont, go and spend your money somewhere else totally not worth it in the end. Hope this place closes down and the people come forward here to stop this shady business 😠

If I could give a 0.. I would. Their dj sucked, Latin music wasn’t even on point, they were running out of songs and started playing basic white man American music, I expected to hear more reggaeton .. sadly didn’t.The place is SOOO small, ceilings are super low which makes it impossible for good air flow to go through with everyone that they cram in. As soon as you walk in you can feel the disgusting humidity, felt like I was fighting for my life trying to find an air conditioner to stand under. I don’t know how it’s up to code with how crammed it is in there, just a bunch of sweaty people bumping into you. ALSO they charge $20 for entry. Waaack.Save yourself the $20 and go to a nice free bar/ club and spend those $20 on a drink instead. To make it all worse they also close 20 minutes early, won’t let you use up all the time You pay for!Trust, NOT worth it.

Would not spend my money at this bar!!!! Went on a night out with friends and was met by a rude funny looking non FBA guard that had braids & a big forehead with a messed up hair line and some raggedy flip flops & crusty toes. He was very rude asking for IDS saying “i see others comprehend” while I was searching for my Id in my purse, then snatched my purse that was around my neck to “check”. When I told him that was rude and he had no right snatching my purse instead of asking like MOST GAURDS WITH SENSE DO…after I expressed how violated i felt he told my friends and I that I couldn’t enter. That is the worst experience especially since they were also charging $10 to enter. I would never give my money to such horrible service. Managers should check cameras more often

I havent experienced this level of unhinged staff behavior at higher end places so maybe this means going to the hole on the wall neighborhood spots isnt an option anymore.I echo the sentiments of violent security. As I read other reviews(Yelp) before I went, I thought how can you have no idea why that staff person was awful to you? You must have been involved with something and dont want to share but tonight I experienced explicit bias and racism to a degree I dont think Ive ever experienced in nightlife.Earlier in the night one of their staff broke glass at our table and ofc drinks and glass went everywhere. We eased HIS fears, walked HIM to the bar and consoled HIM. We had a great chat, he was awesome, extremely apologetic, he replaced drinks - all was well.About 20 mins later 2 security guards approached my group about the broken glass, adamant that we have to leave because we broke the glass. It turned into 4+ adult men(security) surrounding us, becoming increasingly unhinged while my whole party stayed seated, *intentionally* not mirroring the violence security was projecting because violent men only get more violent when you mirror their own behaviors.Easy enough problem to resolve we thought - the staff person who broke the glass comes over and explains to security that he broke the glass, not any of us. We think its over. But NO - security continues on about broken glass and threaten to physically remove us from the premises. That would never be reality(never) and it didnt come to that. Honestly, I say that as a functioning adult human who doesnt live in their world but maybe they actually would - they did seem giddy at the thought of physical assault. We finally get the story out of security and theres another incident in a different part of the club where glass was broken. Me and my group were outside patio table ONLY, we didnt party indoors whatsoever.Managers showed up and apologized but we actually had to continuously give explanations/alibis for a situation that had nothing to do with us.How exactly is this connected to US? No one knew, not even security. Their exact words were someone said that someone dressed in all black threw glass. Well, okay...there are a lot of ppl in all Black, what brought you to US?In fact, one security guard was confident it was a certain person, while another guard was confident it was another, completely different personAnd oddly there was one security guard who was especially foul, aggressive, violent, and giddy to harass us. I hope he gets the mental services he desperately needs and his mother starts telling him she loves him(unless she has valid reasons not to and based on his behavior, she just might). It would have been comical was it not for men threatening to become physically violent with queer Black & brown femmes. This is a place to either avoid or bring your own security if you *have* to come here.

Hard to generalize this place. It can be great, it can be a drag. Depends on the night and the crowd. For the most part events held here are great, especially the weekly nights (Punky Reggae sometimes, Part-Time Punks, etc). When there are semi-popular acts, the place gets packed! Very hot, with little room to maneuver (both bars have very narrow lanes). The outside patio is where its at for drinks and a cool breeze reprieve. During the day its a great spot to soak in the summer afternoons and have a nice beer, though youll lose the young crowd and substitute for a handful of regulars and a really cool mariachi with an accordion.

Everything from cumbia to zapateado to hip hop and they even end it with some Queen. Its always a great time. They have two bars just incase you cant wait for the inside bar which is usually always packed. The outside bar has less people but the selection is also not as good as the inside bar. I wish they did some sort of renovation to that inside scene but the dance floor is good so I guess that makes up for the bar. The bar needs more space though. All in all I rate this place a solid 7. This was THE WORST BAR EXPERIENCE I have ever encountered. It started when I arrived around 2320 hours when I attempted to order my first drink of the night. My girlfriend and I stood at the center of the bar for about 5 minutes, being blatantly ignored by the (obviously) intoxicated bar tenders. By obviously, I mean to say that I actually witnessed one of the female bar tenders (not Angie) take a shot of liquor and Chase it with a bit of a lime wedge. Right after witnessing this I WAS STRUCK ON THE JAW BY A FULL BEER BOTTLE which had been tossed across the bar by the male bartender Raul in an attempt to land it into a trash can approximately 2 feet away from me. At this point, Raul seemed shocked and a bit confused as to what had just happened. Shocked, I picked up the full beer bottle of Blue Moon from the bar top and held it in disbelief as Raul grabbed my arm, pulled me in and said I got your next drink, OK? at that point I felt as if he was trying to hush me while his bar-back Angie gave him a typical look. At that moment, I asked to speak to the manager (Cameron), whom they could not seem to find and then told me it would be over a half an hour wait to speak to him. Raul then told me I was more than welcome to wait and walked away from me. Irritated, I walked to the front and spoke to the security guards outside and explained the story to them. They then called the owner of the club, Carl, who seemed a bit standoff-ish and also intoxicated. I then explained the situation to him, at which point he said he would have to investigate it and get back to me. He took my information, as I took his, and he went on his way. I would NEVER suggest this bar to anyone just based on the total fact that the morals standards and ethics of the staff in this bar just seem very low, to say the least.

I asked for a Sex of the beach and none of the two bartenders knew how to prepare the drink correctly. I asked for two and none of them were prepared the same way. One of them with lemon juice! but it was strong/good.

Strong drinks and a little dirty. But if you want to make your own Bloody Mary, this is the place to go. My friend and I like to go on Bloody Mary Sundays. Theres a cover to get into the front area for dancing. Just tell them youre going to the back porch area. When you get there, tell the bartender you want to make a Bloody Mary. Hell put some vodka in a glass and youll mosey on to the other side of the bar where there are all of your fixings. If you get there early enough, there might also be shrimp and bacon to skewer and stick in your Bloody Mary.
