Hold on to your hats miss ma’am! The drag shows are a must see in Austin! Felt like a heavy pour on the tequila pineapple, there’s an ATM, fanny packs around for getting dollar bills for the performers, a bangin’ outdoor patio, and the staff is so helpful (not to mention gorgeous!) Go, go, go, but be prepared to stand in your most comfortable heels.

Drinks are strong and not too pricey. Drag queen and drag kings of all kinds doing shows of all types. Location is good, since it’s kind of close to one or two other gay bars plus dozens of straight bars. Me and my hubby always make a stop at this bar when visiting Austin.

Went to a Sunday Drag show 7-9 pm! So much fun! It was happy hour, bartenders were very welcoming!

One of the best gay bars I’ve ever been to! The vibe was immaculate, the crowd was fun and the staff were all welcoming and kind. Especially the Sunday night noche latina - I will have to make sure I come every time I’m in town now!

I am here EVERY Thursday for Riot Fair. Joey is the best bartender ever!! He’s always has my drink READY when I walk in. Jonathan the manger is so amazing! And these damn queens… SICKENING!!

Was excited to celebrate my marathon race day with a few drinks, then was denied service not less than 2 min when I walk in…. 1 server was kind enough to “allow” a drink to me, so that sentiment alone earned him a good tip…

Went on a Monday night and had an amazing time with the hostess with the mostess lady grackle. Also, their karaoke of you choose the genre and they choose the song was the perfect mix of a nightmare and a great time!!! I normally hate karaoke but because of the style I didn’t feel judged or anything and had a great time 😌

We came in from Houston to celebrate my daughters bachelorette party. Reserved a table for 7 and we had THE BEST time.We danced and saw an awesome drag show. Everyone was sooóooo cool. The bouncer proudly misgendered me during pride. I wore my compression top and my shirt very clearly identified me as trans yet he made a whole fuss about going, Why hello there, little lady! I am a man. It was Pride. I was at a queer club. Your staff should know better than that.Regarding your horrible response: Of course it took me a while to leave a review. I’m not fully out. It took a lot of time to process what happened in a space where I’m supposed to feel safe and to speak up about it. So sorry it hurt your feelings on Christmas but that just so happened to be the day I finally felt brave enough to speak up. When it’s your first pride and you get misgendered by every staff member you interact with- and yes the bartender called me “ma’am” as well, if you wanna avoid misgendering then train your staff to avoid gender descriptors entirely if they’re not 100% sure, it’s not that hard- then yeah, it’s very hurtful. I also do not appreciate your use of my deadname, but I guess it checks out that you wouldn’t think that maybe I can’t use my real name on this email and that you could be causing further harm. You not only shamed me for speaking up, you outright refused to believe me. You have been very unprofessional and immature in your response. I do not believe you support trans people at all if you do not listen when a trans person calls you out- especially a shy, autistic, closeted one. You need to do some soul searching and figure out why your reputation and ego is more important than the fact that even one person felt unsafe in your establishment due to the actions of the staff. I like the music they play and it’s a pretty neat bar I would take my friends here but is pretty sad on how the gays act in Austin God for bid if I say hello to a guy the bar. But other then that neat bar and great place

A great time! Wonderful local Drag entertainers hosted a trivia & watch party, shots were awarded to the correct answers. A wonderful vibe and even better service. The watch party was really nice! Great DJ!

So fun! The team really know what they are doing! Came from abroad over Christmas and came in every single night! Drag queens were stunning and so friendly! Of course Lady Grackle slayed :) Thank you guys for the amazing time and letting us be a part of your Christmas :)

Obsessed!!!! with this place!!!! The music and lights are the vibe. I definitely plan on coming back often. We were there during the drag show and they did a Barbie number that was amazing. Its surrounded by other bars as well which make it perfect for bar hopping.

Came in on a Monday while on vacation looking for one last thing to do. It was me and my partner’s first time at an in person drag show, and it was great! We unfortunately had to leave early so we’d be able to get up in time for our flight Tuesday, but we will definitely be back if we’re out this way again. Very fun crowd, friendly bartenders, and what an amazing performance 😄

OCH has long been a staple of gay Austin nightlife and every time I visit I understand why. I’m greeted at the door politely, wanded for security but never patted down invasively, and once inside the bartenders are friendly, prompt (not to mention sexy), and the shows are always entertaining.Additionally, Harry’s Dark Bar is host to a variety of fun events for all types of people, in fact, on my last visit it was “Furry” night and there were lots of people dancing dressed up in their fursuits!I’ve actually been a guest gogo dancer there in the past myself and have thoroughly enjoyed myself. Looking forward to visiting again!

I had a good time here and got to catch a drag show going on. I felt safe and comfortable here. The drinks are pretty expensive, so be prepared for that, but they were also strong and tasty. Overall a great time. Gets busy, but theres plenty of room to host everyone.

Friendly and inviting atmosphere. Staff were super nice and helpful. Bar has great selection of spirits and beers. Bathrooms are unisex and super clean. Great patio where grill was going with burgers. Wonderful show on a Sunday, entertaining and fun. Felt very safe and at ease, patrons were also very friendly and polite. Inside bar and outdoor patio were very clean and well decorated. Love the music and lighting. Walked from a few blocks over, area and storefront felt safe, cant wait to go back!

This was the first place I went to when I moved to Austin. I was actually visiting to scope the city out. And it didnt disappoint! The bartender sat with me and chatted cause it was a slow Tuesday. Fast forward a year- its my go to place when I need a night out! Always fun, lively and welcoming. Between the music, the shows, and the people, Ive never had a bad experience!

I had a GREAT time here last night! Entire staff is nice and friendly. Drinks are good. I left my cell at counter & realized it later! Thankfully they arent shady because the bartender (long beard) had noticed Id left it and secured it for me! So awesome!!! Thank you, sir! Go here if you want a great time. Fun vibe, cool atmosphere. Drinks were reasonably priced. Kind of an average venue. I went early too, so not sure what a later crowd might look like. It was thin , but again it was early on a weeknight. Worth checking out if you’re passing through.

Yesterday I went with my husband to see two RPDR girls coming for a show, the resident Drag Queens saved the night , they were funny and all did a great job. In Europe ye other hand, the ones we came to see after paying did a terrible job, 3 min each one, so Ill recommend not to waste your money paying 40+$ for this, better come on normal days and tip the local entertainers

I had a fantastic time here. The bartenders were so sweet and my drinks were strong! (Maybe a little too strong lol) love the vibes here.I did however get charged about 6 times for 25$…. Not sure what’s that’s about, hoping I can call them when they open and have it sorted. I had about 5 drinks and $125 for 5 drinks just doesn’t seem right… I’ll have to call my bank if I can’t sort it out with them and I probably won’t come back if they won’t fix it for me. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽

This was my first time visiting Austins LGBTQIA area and I loved it! The vibe of this place was amazing and the Drag Queens were so good! Drinks were on point! Ill be visiting again and again.

OCH is a classic Austin drag bar. The bar service is quick and friendly and the queens give variety. I do miss Cheeki though! Love OCH ❤️

More laid back (good thing) than Rain or Highland

Came on a Saturday night with a Bachelorette party for the Best Drag Show Ever! Super fun show. Queens were engaging, fun, and very talented. Would recommend the drag show for sure! Had a blast!

I went to this bar and it wasnt a great time. The people working there and the managers were pretty rude, which made the place feel unfriendly. The drinks were pricey and not that good, and the bar was dirty and not very nice-looking. Overall, not the best experience.

Went with the boif on a Tue night, so wasnt expecting much, but drag karaoke with Cheeki Khant was a blast. Crowd was made up of theater kids, couples, singles, and a whole variety of queers, not just white cis gays. No cover, vodka cranberry was 8.25. Enjoy!

Went on Monday to the Grackle Games. It was a great show with awesome performances and some funny roasts.The staff is very friendly and helpful.A friendly Environment with clean unisex bathrooms.

In town for Pride and this was one of my first bars to visit hands down had an amazing time! The show was amazing and did not have a hard time getting a drink which was an all time first. Definitely planning to make this a must stop any time I’m in town.

I don’t swing this way but my female friends wanted a show. We all came here for Halloween and it was great. It’s kinda nice being handed free drinks and hit on. Not gonna lie.

I think I agree with one of the other reviewers, its only as good as the crowd you bring. I will on occasion go by myself and its a challenge to get people to talk or socialize with anyone outside their click. I think certain nights for gay men are avoidable, seems to be a female fest. I still think its ok only because they have weekly events that bring in a larger crowd at times such as the drag show. Those are way more social bars out there, but I would still recommend this one for an occasional visit.

Pretty cool little bar, super underrated, there was a really cool drag show the night I went that was fun for myself, my straight guy friend, and my gay friends that went.Its a bar, you get what you expect, it was a bit cleaner than i feel most bars are, they had two bars, and have service at both even when it is a bit slower than typical.If you go and you arent lgbt, please treat everyone with respect, just like they will give you when you say you are not lgbt.

Dead on a Friday night. Drag show was entertaining when you could see it through the multiple groups of bachelorette parties.

This bar encourages and enables men to be aggressive towards female presenting people. This is a fun bar/club. It seems its more directed towards the older gays, so younger people may feel they have eyes on them at all times. Staff is pretty friendly. On Thurdays they have an Strip-Off Contest thats fun to watch. On Sundays they have drag shows. I think this is the best drag show venue in Austin. During the day, the bar next door called SCORES is also a fun place to watch sports with your buds.

This bar has a long history in Austin. Really great drink specials during the week and strong. They have a side, called Score, to watch sports, play darts, less loud music. The main area has a large dance floor with a DJ booth. They also have a bar outside with seating. It gets pretty smokey out there. There is a pool table out back but its pretty beat-up. Check website for nightly specials and performances.

Great atmosphere with a friendly staff. DJ plays some great tunes and the bartenders are quick to fill your orders. The box boy dancers are a nice addition as well

I’m super disappointed in this place, I went to see the drag show on Sunday and was charged $11.50 for a single spiced rum and coke which I happily paid in cash with a nice tip. Then when it was time for round 2 of the same drink about 30 minutes later I get charged $5.50, when I ask the bartender why he’s only charging me that amount he informed me that was the price. I asked him why was I charged $11.50 before and he said he wasn’t sure. I go to the original bartender and explain to him the situation and he tells me he doesn’t know what I’m talking about with an annoyed look on his face. That’s fine he probably needed the extra cash more than me, but I won’t come back to this place. I’ll stick with Highland, Sellers, or Rain.

I love this bar! I have been a few times now with both my gay and straight friends and each time we always have a great time!This is the place to shake your tail feather and show the Austin Nightlife Scene what youre working with whether it is a weekday or weekend! The house music here is definitely of the thumpa-thumpa variety and you will be sweating in about 5mins flat, along with everyone else!The dancefloor can get crazy crowded, so if you dont like have sweaty gyrating strangers bumping and grinding on you, then go to the back patio (though it can get a little cray sometimes out there as well).There are some great events here! The last one I went to was a wet tighty-whitie contest, which boys and girls I can tell you, you will get your eye-candys dollars worth! There is sometimes a cover if there is an event going on, but most of the times I have been here, there was not.The other thing I love about this place? I have never had to pay for a drink! Either one of my abfab gayboys in my abfab gaggle treats me or a kind and friendly stranger offers to buy my beverage, which makes for a super fun night out on the cheap for this gal! Thus, I have never interacted directly with any of the bartenders, but a few of my drink-treating friends have told me they are either super nice or super divas...so I guess it is the luck of the draw.I have heard they have a drag queen bingo every now and again here, but I have never been, though would love to see what its all about.Either way, if you are looking for a fabulous time on 4th, this is the place!#12DaysofChristmasATX

Used to really like this place. Until I walked in and a particular bartender ignored me for a good 3-4 minutes. Not even sure why. I was standing directly in front of him. Other people approached the bar after me and he continued to serve them over and over before me. Finally moved on to a less busy bartender. 👎

The club looked a little less than decent, but still fun I guess. Im really just upset because my friend Lesly and I just got here to Austin and were students and this place is one of the only clubs thato will let 18 year olds in. Once we got there, the manager gave us the whole were keeping your ids to make sure you dont drink spill we were cool and compliant. The bouncer marked up our hands and right as we were paying, the manager takes our ids from the guy and says we cant go in. Now, Im TABC certified and we showed no signs of being intoxicated, we hadnt had anything to drink and we surely didnt plan on it. He didnt even elaborate. Instead, he just literally pushed us out the door. Im very disappointed and I think it may have been a race thing. It just sucks that we came all the way here.

Even in a gay club, we straight women get hit on. But its not nearly as bad as any predominantly straight bar/club. Two mens bathrooms and one ladies bathroom, but its a unisex outfit, so feel free to go to whichever bathroom is closest to you. Great drinks and bartenders, good music, lots of room, and a pool table.

OCH is generally a fun place on Sundays. They host a new RuPauls Drag Race Queen every Sunday, which is really cool! You can take photos with the star of the night, but no cell phones are allowed. It takes the photographer a few weeks to post the photos online or on Facebook. For those under 21, make sure the blonde boy is working the door because he usually lets things slip. Its worth a visit on Sunday if youre willing to pay a $5 cover. Its not worth going during the week because its always dead.

Went here on an early Friday evening and it was dead, dead, dead. Thought it would be more happening on pride weekend.

Not from Austin saw an ad for friday happy hour 7pm to 11pm we got our drinks got charged full price. An then they said o thats when DJ is playing. Highly misleading false representation. Rude bartender will never come back here again avoid.

Best gay bar I know in town. Bartenders usually hook it up on drinks. Bathrooms are essentially gender neutral which is always a plus. Good things :)

Ordered a double well vodka cocktail and was charged $12 for it. Not only that, the drink was about 80% water. Almost no alcohol in it what-so-ever. Worst gay bar Ive ever been to

Fun club, worth goinig to for a drink and chat. plenty of guys to talk to, social environment... there are a lot of Mexicans there, I think they prefer this bar.

This is a fantastic bar! They have been in Austin forever, have great staff, management and a really good DJ. I would recommend this bar to anyone.

This night club is a very nice place to go to for young gay men and for someone looking to just enjoy there night out and have a good time..The bartenders and Workers are very considerate and Hard working guys!
