I originally had a not so good experience a few weeks ago but management went above and beyond to give me a better experience. I recently had a 90 minute massage with Mikeyia and it was SO relaxing and therapeutic. Highly recommend her if you want a nice, stress-relieving massage. Her technique was slow and firm which left me feeling very relaxed.

Indulging in a facial session with Allison was truly a transformative experience that I wholeheartedly endorse. Having had facials in the past, I was pleasantly surprised by Allisons exceptional blend of expertise and genuine care. Her infectious positivity created an incredibly inviting atmosphere.After just two sessions, Im astounded by the remarkable improvement in my skin. Previously plagued by acne on my neck and lower face, Allisons tailored approach, coupled with her wealth of knowledge, has resulted in a significant clearing of my complexion.Such was the impact of her service that I eagerly recommended Allison to my cousin and aunt, who echoed my sentiments with nothing but praise. For those seeking more than just a facial, but a deeply personalized and empathetic skincare journey, I cannot recommend Allison highly enough. She is truly a gem in her field.

Horrible front desk. Gifted a credit to my partner who booked through text as they request you too. Shows up to the appointment that was confirmed and states they do not have her booked. No help from management or the front desk to remedy the situation. Texts were shown and confirmed that they (Massage Envy) were in the wrong. Embarrassing and disrespectful experience with the front desk staff. Did not even help to reschedule or offer any solution. I even cancelled my membership that I have had for 2 years. Will not be returning to the company.

Highly recommend Katarah for massage and Allison for facial. They custom tailored the service for my needs. Super relaxing and will come again. The only small detail is that I wish was that a robe was available to slip into between sessions.

Bonnie gives a solid massage. She has good pressure and technique. She’s really friendly but is also good with reading if you are feeling chatty or just wanting to relax.Trey is also one of my favorite therapists when I really need a lot of focus on neck tension.

Sammy is a miracle worker! Didn’t realize how much I had pent up in my shoulders and upper back. Just what I needed!

Michael from your MOPAC ATX location was AMAZING! I was in dire need of a massage and he delivered. He’s so good that he was booked out until December.

Trey continues to be amazing. He is a true healer. It’s like he intuitively knows what my body needs at any given time. Just a genuinely sweet human being too. I didn’t get the front desk staff’s names, but the folks working PM shift on 12/14 deserve recognition too!

I was highly disappointed with my experience at this Massage Envy location due to their complete lack of thought or care for the customer. The manager, Stephanie, was very unprofessional and did not seem to care about my concerns regarding their last minute cancellation of my services. For context, my scheduled appointment was cancelled when a masseuse left and they sent a text without calling at first. I had not set up my account to accept texts, so I did not get any notification. She waited till 7 hours before the massage to finally call me, making it impossible to reschedule somewhere else. I’m addition to not apologizing or attempting to help out in ANY way, she also hung up because of background conversation.

I’ve been seeing Cynthia monthly for over a year now and every time is 10/10 experience. Not only is Cynthia great at what she does, but she’s prompt, kind, and attentive to the areas of my body that sometimes need more help. Seeing her every month has been great in helping me slow down and truly relax. So thankful for Cynthia!!

Another great facial with Allison. Shes incredibly thorough and knowledgable. She always does a great job, and Ive been seeing tangible results from the treatments! Couldnt be happier. Shes also just a lovely human being and fun person to visit with.

I’ve had many positive experiences with massage envy therapists, but my random appointment at the Pressler location with Cynthia was PHENOMENAL. I felt like she heard my requests and the pressure was outstanding. I am hoping to get so lucky to get on her schedule again!

I love Allison as my aesthetician. She’s knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. Of all of my massage envy experiences, she’s the only person I specifically favorited to keep going back to.

I wish there were more stars to give in this review. I have to move often due to my job and it is always a challenge to find the right esthetician for my facials. I am thankful I gave this location a try and found the AMAZING Allison! She is the best! Her knowledge and experience with the different products has my face glowing. Kayla (the manager) is also AWESOME. She is usually at the front desk and her professionalism and customer service goes above and beyond all expectations. A+++

Gracie is the best. She has been taking care of me for years, dealing with numerous muscular issues as well as arthritis and knee surgeries. She is an integral part of my healthcare. The rest of the staff are always helpful in scheduling and assistance

If you have old injuries ask for Evan is EXCEPTIONAL. He really helped my Achilles tendon which I nearly tore in half when I was young. His massages are definitely for those who need the physical therapy aspect of massage and prefer to remain silent during the session. Personally its hard for me to relax as much while chatting even if the convo is great.

Allison is professional, sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful in any way she can be. She has helped me in my journey to better skin so much! When I started going to her, I was experiencing terrible breakouts and nothing was working for me. Allison immediately assessed the issue, came up with a plan, and with her expert advice I was able to tackle the issue at hand, and my skin thanks her so much for it! I now have clear, healthy skin and together we have developed a routine that works for me. There has been such a difference in my complexion, that my mom is traveling 4 hours to come and see Allison for her skin issues. I couldn’t be more grateful and happy with the results she has helped me with.

Jacob was such a great masseuse. He was attentive and you could tell he took care in what he was doing. I badly needed to relax and get these kinks in my body out and he definitely did that.I’ll surely be going back for more. Thanks for the wonderful experience Jacob. Highly recommend him.

I’m so grateful for Evan! He is a highly, highly skilled massage therapist who is able to intuitively know what I need each visit. I feel safe and at ease with him and very much appreciate that he is empathetic, interesting, and tuned into to whether I need a quiet visit or a talkative one. I skipped a month recently and realllly felt it. Hopefully I’ll never have to do that again—his amazing massages are a key part of my stress management and health care plan and he helps me pay attention to and manage trouble spots. I also recently met Allison for a facial and am super impressed with her biochemistry approach to understanding skin and delivering high quality facials.

Allison gives the best facials. She is why I transferred my “home” Massage Envy to this location. I also like how the team texts with updated availability - very convenient since I work in an office all day and can’t be making personal calls.

Eden was a-mazing. She took my lead and didnt speak while I was relaxing. Ive been to so many locations and Im trying to relax and they speak NON STOP, they miss the point even when Im not even speaking back. She did a fantastic job of massaging, perfect pressure. I left feeling zen, refreshed , re-energized, and ready to take on the World. I will definitely be back to see Eden.

Edit: back again to say I will work with Cynthia FOREVER.Cynthia was insanely amazing. She worked out my tension and stressed areas with ease. Hands down the best massage I’ve received with massage envy. I already booked with her 2x more in the future.

Nicole is an incredible masseuse and works out a lot of my special needs Issue being I suffer from a lot of nerve pain due to strokes. I’m really happy with her level of Professionalism and talents. Definitely would recommend.

Cynthia does a fabulous massage and is very in tune with your specific needs (AND things to avoid such as my biceps tendinosis). Looking forward to my next massage already!

Allison is the best esthetician. She is extremely knowledgeable and very professional at what she does. She cares about her clients and always asks about my family. Thats customer service that is not found often these days. It always means a lot to me and I appreciate her kindness and excellent service. I recommend everyone try her microdermabrasion and regular facial. You will not be disappointed.

Love this massage place, especially Stephanie who is a magician. If I go in feeling exhausted she revives me with her expert touch. In addition, she is the epitome of courtesy and kindness. The front desk staff is equally friendly and approachable. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my massage from Bart and Stephanie I felt very relaxed. They really helped me with my cramping of muscles. Dharma was also wonderful and Trey helped with my neck and shoulder pain. Trinity, Hannah, and Kayla help me at the front and always make my experience wonderful

I have been a loyal customer of Massage Envy since 2017 and look forward to my monthly 90 minute service. Id highly recommend Patrick if you visit the Pressler location. I found him after my previous therapist moved after two years. FYI the entire staff are helpful and friendly.Being a monthly member insures I am doing something good for my well being. Have the best massage therapist, Patrick makes coming monthly beneficial. If you cant get in with Patrick give Jacob a try as he too is amazing. Kayla and the staff are super helpful and delightful so arriving early is a treat. Its always nice to be known by name.

Nicole does so good! Ive only had like 3 or 4 proffesional messages in my life but hers was the best. This is the 2nd time Ive gone to her and shes proffesional, nice and talented. Calming too! She clearly has alot of training and background in this. Would never want to use anyone else because she focusee on certain areas that need attention that i didnt even know needed attention. Gricelda/ Gracie gave me my very first massage , she made me feel really comfortable and relaxed! She was extremely attentive and listened to me and all wants/ needs . She was very professional, very well trained and most importantly you can tell she loves what she does!

Pricing listed online is totally not reflective of what you will be charged here if you are new customer. Ended up getting charged almost double. It wasn’t clarified at all when I make the reservation, checked in or made the payment. Then afterwards the lady at the front desk was like that is membership pricing only and suggested to call beforehand to work on pricing. Super super confusing and not professional. Won’t come back again.

I had not gone to Massage Envy for a while. But now that I’ve started back I realize that I’ve been missing out. The deep tissue massages I get from CYNTHIA & BONNIE are fantastic. They listens well to my needs and are very accommodating. I look forward to my regular visits now.

Massage was excellent, but noisy room. Room 4 is next to staff lounge and I could hear entire conversations (about broccoli). It was not very relaxing. If I go back there I will request another room.

Veronica is one of the best technicians I have experienced at any of the Massage Envy locations I’ve visited. She is thorough, smooth technique and adaptable/ responsive to changes in my needs from session yo session.

I’ve been a Massage Envy member for many years, and transfer es to the downtown shop when it opened. I’ve found several therapist who are really good and pleasant and helpful. Parking is amazingly easy, and free and covered, for a downtown spot, and I’m always greeted cheerfully. Communications and reminders have been prompt and clear through all the pandemic madness, freeing me up to just enjoy my massages.

The therapists are exceptional at delivering what I most need in real time. In the past I have had massages where I’ve indicated specific areas to address but they were overlooked due to disruption in a set massage routine.The manager Kayla is good at details and responding when I’ve had questions. The team at the desk is incredibly patient, kind, and great at explaining the plan and services offered.You will not be disappointed!

Eden is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. Better than Lake Austin spa. I found a diamond within a corporate chain that most people would consider below average.

We live in the Arboretum and I traveled down to Pressler because my massage therapist is wonderful and I will follow him anywhere. I visited the Massage Envy on Pressler St. for the first time yesterday and I absolutely loved it! The staff was very helpful and friendly. I will be coming in again.

The new Massage Envy location seems to be doing a really good job taking covid precautions, from having you text when you arrive to having clean facilities. Ive gone 3 or 4 times since theyve opened and have felt safe every time. The front desk staff is super nice and professional. I let them know what I was looking for in a masseuse and they found me the perfect person!

Trey’s reputation of being THE NECK specialist preceded him when we first met almost a decade ago. I don’t know how but his work has only gotten better with time. As someone who has lived with serious head/neck/shoulder issues caused by car accidents, migraines and stress for many moons, believe me, I’ve tried it all. Finding the right fit is always a journey.Trey is literally one of only Licensed Massage Therapists I’ve worked with in the States that I trust to deliver consistent effective neck pain relief. Add on his authentic Thai foot work and scalp massage and you’ll feel like a new womyn! Pro tip: Call ahead to get on his schedule. Trey is worth the wait and the money and so are you!

Okay so... I know massage envy is a chain, but the people who work there are what make this a personalized experience. Kayla at the front desk really went out of her way to make sure I got the right therapist, and it paid off. Jacob did an amazing job of working on some deep knots and tension in my shoulders and back. Holy heck strong hands! I feel frustrated when I pay for a massage and the therapist basically just pets me for 60-90 minutes. This definitely was not the case here. I got a deep tissue massage, and good customer service too. I’ll be coming back.

Stephanie is such a fantastic massage therapist! She’s my go-to when my migraines flare up and I need relaxation and tension relief. Her services are so calming and definitely help with my pain management!!

I had a great experience with the front desk staff and with my massage therapist, Evan. He was very professional and friendly. I left feeling very relaxed. I also liked that there is a free parking garage so that my car was not so hot in this Texas heat when I left!

Extremely safe in terms of COVID protocols. I love the efficient staff. Cynthia is amazing. The address might put you off but there is free parking, and I always feel very comfortable entering. Kayla, Trinity, and Cynthia combine to make each visit the best!

I have been going to Massage Envy for close to 5 years now and they always know just what to do to provide the best healing. The massage therapists are intuitive, very attentive and sensitive to what your body needs, offering just the right amount of pressure as needed. While there are many massage therapists available and I have been to many, massage envy is the one I always go back to. They are Amazing!!

I identified the area I wanted to focus on when I filled out paperwork. During the conversion with Bart I reiterated that I wanted to focus on low back and hip. During the massage, when asked to turn onto my back I asked if we could do work specifically my low back and hip first. I was told we could come back to it if we had time at the end. So, at the end we spent maybe five minutes max on the area i asked to focus on three times.

We have been members of massage envy for over 10 years now and I’ve been to multiple locations across Texas and even a few in other states; THIS location BY FAR has had the best service of any one we have ever walked in! The therapists were very professional and thorough and the front desk staff was beyond amazing! Highly recommend 😊

Trey is such a gift! His extremely proficient and compassionate care of my neck has allowed me to function and feel great in spite of some serious problems. I honestly dont know what I would do without his treatments, and he is an awesome human being on top of it!

I currently have a membership at this location and am very pleased. The first time I came in for a massage Ashley, the girl checking me in was very friendly. I asked for her to pair me with someone who is good with deep tissue massages and she recommended Cody. He was extremely respectful, gives amazing massages and is very knowledgeable about the anatomy of the back. I appreciate him giving me take home tips on how to work on my back pain and highly recommend both him and this location.

Ive always enjoyed my experience with Massage Envy. The only downside, when you get a great person working with you, you may not get them again due to a scheduling conflict or they have moved on somewhere else.

Patrick still reigns supreme for deep tissue massage! And I need to give the manager and the employees working the front desk a special mention. They are always very professional, friendly and welcoming to me. I always make it a point to acknowledge and say a few words to everyone as I enter and exit Massage Envy.

I come here regularly for facials with Allison and massages with Tres. Massage Envy hires skilled, compassionate people. Allison and Tres are among its most skilled and considerate. Highly recommend this location and staff.

The place is nice and the massage therapist I saw was great! But they charged me 10$ to use my credits here because this location isn’t my home location. I go to a lot of massage envy locations because I travel and I’ve never been charged extra because it wasn’t the location I signed up at. That’s the whole point of the membership…

Im a massage envy enthusiast from out of state. I was in Austin for a week so decided take advantage of my monthly appointment here. I was greeted by a friendly face and was welcomed at once. I was very pleased with my massage. The therapist communicated very well so I knew exactly what to expect. A+ for his sheet draping skills too. I felt extremely at ease and relaxed the whole time. I highly recommend this spa.

I have been a member for about 4 years. They always get the spots I need and the spots I did not know I had. I brought my 86 year old mother and treated her to one of my massages in November and she joined. She really enjoys the massages. I have seen negative reviews I dont know what happened I have had great experiences. My mother also. I think it is a good idea for women over 50 to get massages so we will not be so stiff. I know it helps my mother be a little more agile.

Im updating my 1 star review to 4 stars. They have made some changes at this location and Im very pleased. The manager went above and beyond to make me happy, even offering me a free massage. Its nice to have a place so committed to customer service when it seems so difficult to find with most companies. I highly recommend massage envy!

Patrick is an awesome masseuse. He will place focus on areas of concern and work to rid any muscle knots. He has good firm pressure. I’m a repeat client of his due to his massage expertise.

I always get great customer service from the front desk team, and massage therapists Bart and Eden are the absolute best. Highly recommend them.

Cynthia is a dream. I occasionally gift my friends massages and always send them to her. If you’re in the market for deep tissue work and have chronic neck and shoulder pain she will change your life!

Allison was personable and knowledgeable about skin care. I appreciated her recommendations and the various options she shared.

Trey did some intense back and shoulder work that I really needed. I do HIIT workouts 3x a week so I’m in a constant state of soreness and Trey offered some recovery suggestions that I can’t wait to try out!

The entire office is incredibly clean. Communication from pre-check in, the massage, and check out was fantastic. Marshall was great to work with. Not only was he able to help me be in less pain, he was also able to explain what was causing it, and things I need to be mindful of while at work.

Have gone twice and highly recommend this place. Austin is known for going local - even though its a nationwide chain, it is a franchise, so dont be thrown off by that! The staff and facility are great. I saw Marshall twice and got a membership, will be doing monthly sessions with Marshall. I had a stiff neck and after one session with him, I had full range of motion the next day.

Trey is wonderful! He specializes in the upper trapezius and scalenes. He is extremely knowledgeable in the human anatomy, so any muscle you are having trouble with he knows how to fix it. High quality and friendly staff. I highly recommend booking your session with Trey!

I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service. They called to cancel my appointment right as I was walking in for my appointment, I arrived on time. They said something went wrong with their system. They offered to give me a later time but I dont have time to come back later. They could have at least offered a discount of some kind for causing me the inconvenience of driving all the way to this location and canceling on me! All they did was offer another appointment time. I felt so disappointed because I was looking forward to a relaxing massage and instead it just caused more stress. What a waste of time. Beware of their bad scheduling system!

I normally come to Massage Envy for massages. But recently I’ve been seeing Allison for facials. She recommended a benzoyl peroxide Jan Marini lotion after my 1st facial a month ago. This really helped my skin finally calm down. Thank you!

Fantastic overall experience at the Massage Envy on 5th and Pressler in downtown. Front desk / Mgmt, especially Kayla are friendly responsive and professional. Therapists Nicole and Gracie are amazing. Nicole’s trigger point deep tissue massage is one of the best and extensive experience with iliacus and psoas muscles are truly unique. Can’t say enough great things about this location overall.

Such a great experience at this place. Enjoy my massages and chemical peels! Allison is my favorite aesthetician. Great staff!

Everything was clean and safe! COVID protocol was solid. My masseuse was very knowledgeable about the source of my pain had a wonderful plan to bring relief. I will continue to be a client here.

Rae was great. I felt very comfortable with her, and she did a very nice job. She did deep tissue and cranial sacral massage, and im going back to her for my next massage. Katie at the front desk was very nice, too ;)

I had wonderful, healing massages from Barbara. The trouble came when I needed to move out of state and terminate my contact with Massage Envy. I have not had a massage in the last 6 months and I am still being billed. Read all of the fine print very carefully. Be aware that you cannot cancel your contract over the phone. They make you come personally to the office and sign forms. Once this is done, they still bill you for that and for the following month. They assure me that this was all carefully explained before I signed the contract. I beg to disagree. I would give Massage Envy a 5 for the massages that I had; I give them a minus one for their business practices. Massage Envy is nation-wide and available in my new residence but I will not be returning to them.

Allison is one of the best estheticians to ever work on my skin. So grateful to have met her.

Im a bit mixed about this place. If I were just rating the therapists, this would be a 5 stars. Unfortunately, theres no way to get a massage here and not deal with the super-aggressive salespeople masquerading as the front desk staff. Every interaction with them is apparently the perfect opportunity to try to aggressively upsell you. Mix that with the multi-tiered pricing structure that just feels like a scheme meant to screw you out of money and the overall experience sucks. Again, Ive had great therapist there the few times me and my wife have gone, but everything else ruins the experience and Im doubtful Ill be back. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

I’ve been a Massage Envy customer/member for years. I wasn’t sure where the salon was and google maps places it a bit wrong ( not ME’s fault - its mailing address and satalite issue) Its actually on 5th and the parking is also accessed off 5th, just after Pressler. You have to enter from the front door on 5th- a short walk from the parking lot. Its closer than the former lot at 41st /red river and way less busy - at least on weekends :) New space is great, very fresh and clean and all brand new! Covid protocols all in place and felt safe. You keep mask on thru session as does your therapist. Front desk is very helpful. Trey is fantastic, neck and shoulder specialist. I recco 100% Just give yourself an extra 5 mins more to find it on your first visit, after that its easy peasy.

I’ve had a few sessions now with massage envy and got to say I love coming to my apta. It’s always professional, punctual and I’m always in good hands. And as far a COVID is considered they keep there facility it pristine condition. I always feel safe walking in.

Traveling to Austin I got a intense spasm knot in my back. I randomly chose Evan and he did an incredible job. Honed in on the troubled area and was able to predict exactly what caused it. Booked another appointment in two weeks! Thank you!

Love the new location on Pressler. Eden is amazing for focused body work. Clinic staff follow CDC protocols. If you were a Hancock client you should really consider this location.

For my first time getting a professional massage, I have to say getting a massage should be a part of the medical treatments people inside the healthcare insurance. I dont mind getting them through the year, thanks to my girlfriend for taking me for my birthday.

From a friend that i refereed to a different one and not this one. DO NOT GO TO THIS ONE WITH A GIFT CARD!@MassageEnvy I had a great message so I purchased a gift card for my daughter. Two weeks after my daughter calls to set an appointment and the manager at the Handcock center proceeds to ask for a cc. I wasnt required to give one just the info from the gift card. Change in process or are you fishing for cc info? if you have a gift card why do you need the cc info? Vanessa is the manager and was very rude and very unhelpful. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE WHO VALUES SERVICE AND FAIR PRACTICE.

I love this massage envy. Staff is so nice. The facility is so clean. And super easy parking which is a huge plus in downtown.

I really liked the massage. I didnt like that they did not ask if I would prefer male or female I think it should be up to you to decide. Was ok but I have had better. I didnt like the 2 receptionist they were very judgmental. They were also very pushy about becoming a memer and told me if I was a member it would be 70$ a month of I wasnt it would be 100$. Im a mother of 4 there is no way Im paying 70 a month every month I just wanted some time to myself for once and my mom. I dont think I will come back I think that as a busness there should be perks for becoming a member. But I dont think it should be a 30$ difference. And i dont think you should push so hard that you make the customer not want to come back.

The therapists here are professional and courteous. Have come several times for deep tissue sessions and each time my problems have been lessened or resolved. Prices are very reasonable for the level of service received.

Massage Envy in North Central Austin is a convenient location for me next to HEB & 24 Hr Fitness. Gracie is a knowledgable therapist & listens to my concerns.. I would recommend her highly.

Evan did a great job. He listened to what areas were bothering me, and even made suggestions to help prevent those problems in the future.

Charles did very little. Didn’t do arms and legs. Did some work on my back, then had me turn over and sat on a stool and rubbed my scalp.

Whoever is at the front desk never answers the phone. Idk how this clinic stays open if she’s always sending the calls to voicemail.

Sadly, this location has changed ownership and the customer service is no longer the same. They immediately raised prices after taking ownership, and they dont treat customers the same as they used to. Its no longer affordable.
