I have had many massages before, but Joey and Austin Deep was absolutely the best massage I have ever had! Within a few minutes, Joey had me fully relaxed and melted away all my stress. Definitely “massage drunk”! Highly recommend.

Cara was amazing! I’ve had nagging shoulder tightness for awhile now along with the rest of my body. Within a 1h session she was able to get my shoulder and the rest of my body back to normal.At check out it was mentioned that she was a newer therapist and I wouldn’t have known otherwise - that’s how great the treatment was.10/10 will be going back to see Cara and AustinDeep downtown!!

If you’re looking for a deep tissue massage with a therapist who understands how to find all the little knots in your body, this is the place. Forewarning, it may hurt, but it hurts so good. My body literally feels like all of its cells are able to breathe so much better after this massage. I’m so used to telling therapists to push harder but I actually had to tell Selah to push a little softer! Will def be back

Not worth it. Ive had many fascia release messages before and this was by far the worse. It was completely off and not even on my fascia for part of the message. At one point I thought the therapy was going to throw me off the table with the aggressive movement. It was not pleasant at all. As someone who gets fascia release quarterly THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!! The congress location did not explain that it was an open concept space so while you are in a room the ceiling allows you to hear everything. Upon arrival this would have been nice to know and I did notice after my message that there were ear plugs.... but Ive never had to have ear plugs for a message before so having the receptionists or the therapist tell me beforehand would have given 2 stars. It was so distracting hearing employees talk, or the other guests checking in and all about their knee problems. Sorry Jeremy I know you just got off a long flight and only booked a 45 min session but please stop talking was all I could think during the entire time. The music sounds like something you would listen to pool side on a 2 star motel on a beach with cheap drinks. To the message it wasnt good. I needed by my spine to be released and my hips this was the area focused the least. I was really hoping to feel message drunk with a nice fascia release but this is not the place. Save your money and go some place else.

One of the worst massages I’ve ever had. It was mostly just hard hand friction pushing with little to no oil. I had read all the great reviews so I went with it to see if this really is some “new amazing technique”. It’s not. I normally would have said to stop but I was told it was going to make you feel great the next day. That was a while ago and I still have what can only be described as rug burn feeling. The place is very cool looking and everyone was very nice but there is no way most people would consider that massage anything but painful.

Best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had! I’ve had tons of deep tissue massages and this place takes it to the next level. If you’re looking for a spa Swedish massage, this is not the place for you. Athletes and folks wanting to get those tight spots out will benefit most. Almost felt like PT it was so intense but so worth it!!

I was experiencing some acute low back pain and in desperate need of a massage. I was thrilled to see they had some same day appointments and got in quickly. Jeran was absolutely fantastic and gave one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever received. I left with significantly less pain and felt even better one day later! The owner also happened to be there when I arrived and her energy was amazing! She was so kind and has clearly cultivated a perfect space for therapeutic massages with beautiful interior, great ambiance, and fun decor touches. Thank you AUSTINDEEP!

What an incredible experience! Im only disappointed there arent more locations around the US. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The vibe was peaceful and relaxing. But the main event... the massage... top tier. Ive had neck and shoulder pain stemming from long motorcycle rides with a backpack and the masseuse systemically worked out EVERY ONE of the knots. Afterwards, they provided complimentary bath salts and a restroom with additional amenities for freshening up. And all that came at a very reasonable price point. Cant wait to visit Austin again just for this experience!

Visiting Austin for the long weekend and thought to have a massage. Found Austindeep and so happy with the decision to book a session. My therapist was Anya. She’s awesome!!! The entire environment was so relaxing. Love their little lobby/waiting area. The whole place smells so good, too. Highly recommended!

The best massage Ive ever had in my life. I dont live in Texas, but every time I visit, Ill be going here. I showed up in intense pain and left feeling 15 years younger. I dont remember his name, but the guy had dark hair in a ponytail. Hes extraordinary.

The fun and colorful decor and above-average-volume upbeat music made me feel much more comfortable then the typical stiff/quiet spa atmosphere does! I was actually able to fully relax into the music during the massage and didn’t focus on listening to every little sound I heard throughout the building! And my therapist - absolutely amazing! Fantastic place! Definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

At AustinDeep, that’s their specialty. I love Michele, and honestly, have never had a bad experience with any masseuse. The massage therapists were awesome, and the space looks really nice... But the rooms are open ceiling so you can hear everything. People coming and going, talking in the lobby, conversations in the next room. So, it leaves something to be desired. The quality of the massage made up for a lot, but the prices were higher than they should be given the space they are in. Ill go back in a pinch, but there are other options that are better priced and more private and relaxing in the area.

Wow, incredible experience! They take amazing care of you during the massage and you walk out feeling like you are test driving a new body. The tension was so decreased in my body that it effected my thoughts. Incredible!

One thing that stood out to me was that Ashton took the time to explain the process and how it can help improve my well-being. Ashton was very attentive and took the time to listen to my concerns about a recent leg injury that I needed help with. She adjusted her technique accordingly, and I felt comfortable throughout the entire massage. Came in for some self care after a very emotional day, and everyone at AD was wonderful. Michelle gave an amazing massage and was so kind to me, it meant more than she could possibly know. The atmosphere is like the jungle living room of your dreams and and amenities are A+.

Was in town and booked a 60 min deep tissue massage on a whim. Not only were they able to get me in, it was the best massage Ive had! It hurt so good and I definitely left feeling rejuvenated. I was very satisfied with this place and will definitely go back!

I tweaked my back picking up a suitcase and had spent the entire day horizontal before shuffling into Austin Deep. 90 minutes with Ricardo and today I am moving around and feeling great. It was the most effective massage I’ve ever had. Yes, there is some friction and rubbing like the one bad review said - but that is to heat up the muscles and break up the funk. Austin Deep is a repair shop and I’ll be going back 100%

It was good in the beginning, but seems they’ve had some turnover. Last guy I got should’ve definitely still been in training, absolutely no clue what he was doing. If I pay $160+ for 60 mins, massage better be good.

Incredible pressure and technique. No matter which therapist I book with (its someone different nearly every time due to my unpredictable schedule and often last-minute booking), I walk out feeling like a new person every time. Those benefits always extend for several days and often weeks out. During my last visit, Ashton did a wonderful job. Cant wait to come back soon!

I so enjoyed the entire experience. Bradley was waiting in the entryway, and his demeanor was relaxed and friendly. The massage was exactly what I needed for my frozen shoulder. Its been over a week since the massage, and I am still feeling the benefits. Ill be back!

Therapist was in a rush from start to finish. Apparently this place only offers one type of therapy, lots of friction rubbing with little oil with intense pressure. It is not clear on the site about this, nor was my therapist. She said little, but just hurried me into room, hurried out, no inquiry about my body, etc. My companion received at the same time as mine but theirs was fine I guess they had a decent therapist, but sadly I got a bad therapist (Laura I think her name was). Ive had many many massages, this one was awful, biggest waste of $175 ever.

I just had the best massage of my life at Austin Deep. Jason and his magic hands found tight spots I didnt even know existed. The pressure was just right - gentle enough after not having had a proper massage since 2020 and firm enough that he worked out all the little knots and bits that were causing me pain. I left feeling as though I had lost 20 pounds - that is how much stress he relieved. Sadly, I am just visiting Austin for the weekend, but this will be a must-visit whenever I am back in the neighborhood.

Called to book a session and the reception was super weird about me asking about whether they print therapist license numbers on their receipts. In an age where a lot of insurances cover massage as a benefit they’d better get with the program!

Definitely would recommend this place, Christina did an amazing job today on me. she communicated but was quiet while I was zoning out and adjusted pressure and bed temp when I asked.last massage I got at a different place, I paid extra for deep tissue but didnt feel I got it. AustinDeep definitely gave me what I paid for.much appreciated!Note to people who may have extra body hair, as my husband does, you may not benefit as much from the tiger balm, I really enjoyed its tingling sensation, but he had a hard time because I think it gave a little bit of a rub burn on his hairy legs as its not as slippery as a traditional massage oil would be. Hes totally fine but just as a note to other people :-)

Great atmosphere and location, easy online booking process, excellent service! Shaylyn is the first and only masseuse that was able to find those exact muscles on my back that were causing me pain. She applied just the right pressure. Would highly recommend Austin Deep and Shaylyn!

Joey S. Was AMAZZZZING!! The whole experience was amazing!! I was visiting with my husband who was attending a conference, so I was looking for things today. I had decided against a massage the day before, but the next day I’m like I really do want a massage lol but. A good deep tissue bc I have super stiff muscles. Searched Google and booked one around 11am for 3pm. Everything was so easy from online booking to paying to the massage. It was just amazing and Joey was so great! He did so good, summed up what he felt, addressed any concerns before hand and reached places I didn’t even know muscles could be! And they needed to be reached lol. I highly recommend! The downtown location was like a 5 minute walk from JW Marriott where I was staying. Cost was reasonable! $140 not including tip. If your debating, go with it. The experience was great and I wasn’t sore at all and I got deep pressure! Loved it! Thank you again Joey!

Great couples deep massage by Syd and Rose. Not your average fluffy spa massage, but a real get the kinks out solid massage. Perfect compliment to our Austin weekend getaway! Highly Recommend.

This was a last minute booking made with some girl friends and they happily took 3 of us just an hour before closing time. With not being from Austin we took a wrong turn and we called to let them know we would be running a few minutes late and they were very understanding. When we did arrive they did not rush us and allowed us to freshen up before starting. The environment was very inviting and had a L.A. Boho vibe. The mood music was the best I have heard at a massage establishment. The room was large and inviting. This was the first deep tissue massage i had experience and my therapist was very attentive to areas to avoid and which ones i wanted targeted. The massage itself was life changing. I did not know pain could feel that good! My therapist gave me feedback in regards on how important it is to have a routine massage and that I should find a local therapist to start a management routine. After completing the massage we were greeted with water and a small bag of epsom salt with instructions to use it in a bath to help with the soreness. All the therapist informed us on how to treat ourselves after the massage such as staying hydrated and maintain a low activity level. I honestly will make it a point to book with Austin Deep whenever I am in town. Thank you so much for such a great experience!

The massage therapists always do a great job and work super hard to provide as much pressure as I ask for. They have an amazing ability to focus on problem areas I wasn’t even aware of. Seriously, I’ve had good massages at other places but no place is as consistently good as austin deep. If I get a new therapist from Austin deep I have a very high level of confidence they will be seriously good at their craft.

The downtown location is very upbeat! It was a nice change to the ultra-relax experience. I left there feeling energized & ready to conquer the day!Each therapist I’ve had at both locations have been incredibly thorough to smooth out ever last tight muscle. I love a good deep tissue massage & that’s what they have to offer :) Something about it is soo soothing... No pain no gain. HahaI’m 100%+ satisfied & highly recommend Austin Deep! Incredible true deep massage! The two massage therapists (one for me, one for my wife) were terrific! And customer service is top-notch: Electricity went out briefly during our session; the owner contacted us after our session to apologize (even though there was no need as it was nobodys fault) and offered a partial credit for the trouble.I highly recommend this place.

By far the best deep tissue massage I have ever had. This is not a typical deep tissue. They are experts in the technique of fascia work and breaking up the connective tissue. I went in with back pain that was shooting down my leg and have ZERO pain now. Shaylyn was amazing. This is not your typical spa however. Be prepared for a different atmosphere and feel but worth every cent. My only complaint is I live in south Florida and cant come here regularly. I can not express how amazing both the technique and Shaylyn were. I do not normally write reviews but had to for this experience. I made an appointment with the first place that had an opening and I am so glad I did! Catie W. listened to my concerns, and took special attention to those areas,. Came in with insane neck and shoulder issues (+ tight muscles everywhere else). Workout daily, have been under high stress for months, travel often, haven’t gotten a massage in 6 months oops. Great location if you are visiting and staying in Downtown Austin. Welcoming staff and facility was nicely decorated with a neon light and photo wall! The massage was great-I asked my masseuse to focus on my neck, shoulder, and back and it was one of the best massages I ever had. Water and sparkling water available- I always appreciate small details like that. You also get a baggie of epsom salt to take home with you

I have been going to this business for over a decade. Owner, Jessica Price has created the perfect recipe of the Deep tissue massage. Everyone on her staff is amazing and the consistency with which this deep massage recipe is provided is fantastic. Austin Deep is the secret tip for most major athletes. Austin deep is a complete physical reset. I highly recommend it!

This is more of a treatment massage than a spa style massage. Experience was great, massage was perfect. My body got the healing in needed and I left relaxed and happy.

2 days after my myofascial release massage I was sore for 2 days as expected then worked a 6 hour shift and wasn’t in pain afterwards for the first time in FOREVER. Then I went to yoga the next day and could hang my head without pain and I could cry im so happy to be able to do both of those things without pain!! Amazing work, will be coming back monthly.

This was my first deep tissue massage experience, and I had not had a massage in 4 years. So, I was very nervous. I had heard many horror stories. When I walked thru the door, I was immediately relaxed due to their ambiance and personal attention. And, my massage therapist, Abel, made me a believer! He calmed my nerves, talked me thru the process and explained/demonstrated the different pressure levels. He even explained how I sit at my desk, sleep and carry my purse affects my alignment. I didnt realize my shoulders and back were holding so much stress. It was just my normal. It really did hurt so good! I walked out feeling like a new woman. I am looking forward to next time! I highly recommend this place to everyone!

As a business traveler, Austin Deep was easy to identify as highly rated with a large number of reviews. I left a message in evening and call was returned promptly next morning. Atmosphere in downtown location has a nice, relaxed, city vibe. Bailey was very friendly and welcoming upon check in and Kelsey provided a fantastic massage that expertly pinpointed and alleviated areas of stress and tight muscle groups. I travel to Austin with regular frequency and will be back every time!

I had a wonderful experience at AustinDEEP during SXSW. I was feeling very achey/tight from a long travel day and Christina fixed me right up! I had a little trouble finding the address (its located to the side of the building on 4th) so I was a bit flustered and arrived late, but Christina helped me get grounded and really lean in to the amazing massage experience. The space is gorgeous and earthy - very centering.
