My sister booked me a 90 minute massage for my birthday yesterday. It was with Laura and she was amazing! I shared with her my medical history and went over what I’d like to focus on along with what level of pressure I prefer. It was the best massage I’ve ever had. It was very clean inside and she was very professional. Highly recommend!

Alcover Massage is fabulous. I have been several times. The therapist are professional and knowledgeable. The salon has a wonderful ambiance. I would recommend any type of massage. But the Thai massage is tops. Sharon can work and stretch every muscle, in your body, in amazing ways using Thai massage techniques. It is worth every moment and every penny spent at the salon.

First massage Ive had since moving to Florida this past year! I actually found a group-on which made it easy to decide where to try first. When i arrived to the house, I wasnt sure what to expect. But since the place has many great reviews.....I knew I wouldnt be disappointed. Laura was fabulous! I had a 90 minute massage and she knew where to focus without me saying much. She was definately an expert! The facility was clean.... cute......and cozy. They even have items for sale as you walk in. Definately recommend!

I had a fabulous 90 minute massage with Laura recently! We discussed my specific areas of concern and tailored the massage to be the most beneficial for me. The TMJ portion of the massage was something I had never done before and my jaw felt fantastic afterward! After I left, I felt so loose and relaxed, and I slept uninterrupted until almost 11am the next day. By the time I woke up, I felt so unbelievably refreshed! Thank you Laura!

Unbelievable! My massage with Sharon was amazing. She was so attentive to my needs. I am having a hip replacement in January so for now I am doing everything I can to relieve the pain. She explained everything she was doing and the rationale. She listened and did exactly what I asked. Sharon is very precise in dealing with areas you describe as sore, achy, and painful. She uses a mix of massage, pressure release, and stretching which works extremely well. Highly recommend.

Laura and Sharon are both absolutely terrific! Sharon worked literal magic after being in debilitating pain for two weeks and unable to lie down flat, I was able to lie flat within an hour of her working on me. Sharon is gentle yet also very thorough and able to use many different techniques to relieve pain and discomfort.

My husband and I have been going to see Laura for a few years. She is very attentive to whatever issues we have going on. Had a massage with Sharon for the first time. She was wonderful and very easy to talk to. She really listened to me and worked out my leg pain. I walked out of the massage not needing to take Aleve for the first time in weeks. I’m new to the Sarasota/Bradenton area and I was looking for a new non-gimmicky establishment for a massage as a birthday gift to myself. I came across Alcover massage and decided to take a chance based on the good reviews. The decor inside is beautiful and clean and gives high luxury vibes. I had little to no wait and the paperwork only took 5 minutes. I scheduled an hour hot stone massage. The prices are very reasonable and they don’t pester you to join any package or membership. We did a quick consultation to address any concerns I was having. Laura is super professional and easy to talk to, she talks you through the massage making sure you are comfortable and the pressure is good (I wanted a deep tissue) and I was pleasantly surprised at how strong her hands are and how well she adjusted the the pressure as needed. I was her last appointment of the day and she actually ran over in time to insure that I was satisfied and met all of my concerns/aches I was experiencing prior to coming In. If you’re second guessing scheduling an appointment, I can 100% vouch that you will not regret it. Thanks Laura! I’ll be back soon!.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Ive had massages all over the world but the one I received from Sharon today was by far the best ever!!! I came in with a pinched nerve in my neck that was causing referred pain in both elbows. I left not only feeling super relaxed but also with absolutely no pain. I will most certainly be back! I’m from MA so this was my first massage in this area. The only thing I was nervous about was if I’d get enough pressure applied to my back, neck and shoulders because I like a lot of pressure when I get a massage. Laura did not disappoint! She has super strong hands and got into some deep knots around my shoulders, neck, and lower back. She also checked in to make sure it wasn’t too strong / too light. Laura was very polite and very professional. Two family members had an opportunity to visit the Spa and not only were we satisfied but amazed. Laura gave us a miniature history lesson on the location and local things to do. From the restaurants to beaches. She was very nice. The cost of the massage was definitely fair and the two therapist were class A. They fully understood and listened to the clients needs. While I waited for my massage I had the opportunity to sit in one of the two zero gravity chairs, that added with the lavender eye pillow, i instantly found myself counting sheep. Laura lowered the lights I’m assuming because when I awoke Forty minutes had passed and it was time for my massage. Oh did I mentioned she asked if I needed to charge my phones along with asking if I wanted headphones for music. She offered a beverage and when the amazing massage was over, she gave me a Christmas gift, a sample of essential oil infused soap and my family lip balm as well as a calendar. I’ve been a massage therapist for 15 years so I went to see Laura today with some issues in by right shoulder. I was seeking massage with cupping / 90 minute session. She was completely professional. Laura explained everything she wanted to do to address my problems. As she went along with the treatment she absolutely nailed it from start to finish. She Listened to me for cues regarding how much pressure to use and if she was working in the right spot. I would recommend Laura without reservation. By the way.....if you have a trouble area that needs work, please please please book a 90 minute session. Your massage therapist needs ample time to get the work done so that you get the results you need and deserve. Laura’s work is effective so I’ll be back to see her the next time I’m in town; you can count on it!

I have been going to Alcover Massage for about a year now, and Im very experienced with spa massage having traveled the world. Laura is one of the two or three best masseuses Ive ever had. Laura listens very carefully to your issues, and personalizes her work to respond to your needs. Her touch can go very deep, or lighter, depending on your feedback. The spa itself is spotlessly clean, with lovely soft music. And there is a great little gift shop up front in case you just want to shop a little. The pure beeswax lip balm is my favorite.

First time there today. Had a massage and stretch with Jason. I gotta say, although Im not thrilled about the location of their facility, the massage was AMAZING! Jason was excellent and thorough. He communicated exactly what he was doing, what was going on with some concerns I had in my neck and was able to address them.The place is cute and clean. It was a little warm in the treatment room, but it was fine. Next time if its not tolerable, I may say something. Other than that, I WILL be back to see him. They offer unique massages that alot of the places around here do NOT offer. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed!

I haven’t had a massage in over 2 years since a major surgery and I am so happy to have found Marie at Alcover Massage! One of the best massage experiences I have had!! She really communicated well to make sure I was comfortable and really helped with a sensitive area that bothered me. I left feeling AMAZING and also more educated. Really nice soothing atmosphere with experienced and professional massage therapists. Nick made sure to take care of all Bills tight muscles and the reflexology was a nice add on service. I went to Alcover Massage today for the first time. I never even knew about them. My husband booked the massage as a surprise. (How sweet !!) Pamela was my massage therapist. She was great. I need very light pressure so I had to ask her a few times to lighten the pressure. Once she got it right, it was like heaven...They had soothing music playing in the background which was nice. Because it is supposed to be a relaxing environment, I liked that when Pamela spoke to me she spoke in a very soft tone. It was almost a whisper. I had to ask her to repeat herself once or twice. Lol. Overall, a great experience. I definitely could see myself returning in the future.

Samary Rodriguez was my massage therapist and she was incredibly kind and sweet! Her work was amazing and she checked in with me throughout the massage to make sure everything was going the best it could be! She did an amazing job and it was completely and totally relaxing!

First of all, I am only here to speak about my massage experience with Laura. I can not speak for anyone who has left a positive review.As a person who knows what a good massage should feel like, I can tell you that what I got from Alcover Massage was a bit worse than what I expect a bad massage to feel like. 10 minutes into the hour long session, I knew I wasnt going to get what I was paying for. A good way to describe the hour.. boring. She failed to hit any points of tension in my back. Im not shy to ask for more/less pressure but there is no direction I could give to make anyone a better masseuse. You either know what youre doing or you dont. Honestly, I walked out feeling like I needed a massage. 2 stars because the place was clean, even though the decorations were tacky.BTW, its really uncomfortable to leave a bad review for such a personal service. Thats probably the only reason there arent more of them.

I have been getting regular massages from Laura for several years for chronic neck and back pain due to injuries and a back-straining career. I booked an appt with Shannon.Its a very quaint old style house, converted to a parlor. Its very cozy and welcoming. Shannon was there to greet me when I came in, and thoroughly went over what wed be doing, and what specific concerns I had. She was very attentive, asking if the pressures she was using were ok. She seemed to be able to tell my threshold very easily, as the pressures were always at that perfect point. Got my first ever massage at Alcover while on vacation to Bradenton/Sarasota while traveling with my girlfriend. From check in to post-massage the process was extremely relaxing, professional, and couldn’t be beat for a first-timer!Since I was new, they did a “general” full body massage, but adapted when I mentioned tight shoulders and using “more pressure” - always adapting to what I needed.Would not hesitate to go back - prices were fair and the experience was unbeatable!

I paid for 90 minutes massage but I didnt even get a full body massage .This is seriously worst massage I have ever gotten. I am a massage therapist myslef.She started me face up worked on my shoulder,arm and neck and my calf,feet.She left out my front legs . Then she turned me over face down.She worked like 10 minutes on my back and then the massage is over .she left out my glutes,and front legs,and back of my upper legs(hamstring) .This is not a full body massage .I have expected at least this is a full body massage.Also when I asked for more pressure, all I felt is she pushed on my bone with her knuckles.This is basically worst thing ever .I left with my right thumb hurts from the massage .

Laura is hands down the best masseuse on the planet! She has the best pressure and adjusts to your liking. She knows exactly where your muscles need attention (even if you don’t know yourself!) and spends the time necessary to work out your kinks. I’ve never experienced this with any other masseuse. I received a 90 minute deep tissue massage session from Nick while I was in Florida visiting family during thanksgiving holiday. I have been working long hours and with travel added, my body was screaming for tightness. Nick worked so hard to loosen up my shoulders and neck. I have had about 10 massages in the last two months at Alcover. Every single one has been fabulousness . The therapist takes time before the massage to listen to any issues you may be having. The massage itself is sooo good. It’s the first place I’ve ever been where the face cradle doesn’t suffocate me & give me a little claustrophobia.

Jason is very kind and knowledgeable not to mention very sweet! I suffer from plantar fascitis and one treatment of reflexology did the trick and I felt much better following. He did tell me that I needed to continue to get treatment so it wouldn’t come back and I am definitely booking again!!! This establishment is very professional and warm! Book an appointment!

The way she explains how and what is happening to your body during the massage was amazing. She is so professional. I have had many Red Door massages, casino massages and no one compares to the heavenly bliss I was in. I must say I truly dont think Ive ever been that relaxed in my life. I believe she took away my last 15 years of stress. I was like gumby though the rest of the day. LOL I went home laid on my couch and didnt move the rest of the day or night. I felt like my bones and muscles were non existent. The woman is a massage gift from God himself. Trust this....Oh almost forget OMG get the salt scrub add on.... WOW...
