256$ for a group of 2 is worth it for me. Kelly and Emily did our scalp treatment and they were really good. Their hands are light and they massage our necks and back a little bit. Then blowdry our hair afterwards. Also, I have sensitive skin and I could say the products that were used are okay. Overall, the service is great and the place is ambient.

MY HAIR FEELS GREAT 😊But the overall experience wasn’t as good. First of all, it is priced at $160 which isn’t worth it in my opinion. Secondly, they do a scalp test and proceed with the service depending on the scalp need. The problem is that the lady who did my service ONLY SCRUBBED my head for 45-50mins with her nails. It was uncomfortable and despite telling her that she kept on scrubbing like she has a scrub daddy in hand and I was some dirty utensil. Deep Scalp massage needs to have a good amount of massage 💆‍♀️ included in the service and not only scratching the head, which felt terribly uncomfortable to me. She massaged the face for a while but that was also not very comfortable. In the end, they dry the hair using Dyson hair dryer and do the scalp analysis again. In my honest opinion, if you scrub your hair for 45 mins like the way she did for me, of course it will look and feel clean but paying $160 for this scrubbing is not something I would sign up for again. Not to mention, the famous water sprayer had gushing water coming out of it and made my entire tank top wet.Great salon and hospitality, but I wish the lady knew some English and gave me a good head massage instead of the uncomfortable scrub.You can definitely try this place at least once.

My Scalp and Hair feels super clean! Definitely will be back and already recommend to my friends , Tara did an Amazing job the head massage feels so good and neck massage to with a deep clean feeling on your scalp and a Blow out at the end ! Complimentary drinks are a plus

Don’t really understand the bad reviews this place has because my husband and I had the best experience ever! Please don’t listen to the bad reviews because this place is amazing. My husband and I got the facial with a scalp massage/treatment. Best combo ever! We felt super relaxed and comfortable with the ladies who gave us the treatment. I’m 6 months pregnant and they gave me a pillow for under my knees and I was comfortable the whole time. After the scalp wash they blow dried our hair and applied hair oil afterwards. My hair feels so soft!Will definitely be coming back!

I’ve wanted to go to Hedspa for a while now, this was my first one. I’ve had scalp psoriasis for like six years now. So it just sounded good to have my scalp treated. The small was really cute and clean inside. They showed me my scalp under a cool flashlight Microscope thing and I could see how my pores were clogged and my hair was greasy. Not surprised. The woman doing my treatment was very kind and the facial and scout treatment was one of the most relaxing things I’ve ever experienced. Very thorough and Thoughtful and very cleansing and wonderful. It was followed by a nice blow dry And they use the microscope to show me how clean good my scout looks. and now I feel clean and hydrated and wonderful!

I have to be honest, I was a bit nervous about what to expect based on reviews and was pleasantly surprised. Walked into a cute building with nice decor and a lovely aroma. I was offered a water while I waited. The service itself was great! It’s like an hour long head massage that shampoos and cleans hair and scalp! My provider was nothing short of professional. While I did get a bit wet from the washing, my provider dried me off in a spa like fashion! The service finishes with a full blow dry! My hair went from oily and gross to clean and silky! Definitely a great experience and I plan to go back!

Don’t waste your money. Not worth it.My recommendation is to call your regular hair salon and ask for a deep wash, condition, and blow out. You’ll likely pay the same price or less and get a cleaner scalp.Longer review:Reception and check in were fine and they took me and my friend on time. We were scheduled to have a 1 hour scalp treatment only. Reception even said this was the best service for the cleanest results. They check your scalp “dirtiness” before the appointment.First complaint, for me, she started washing my hair which was fine. But then she stopped to let my hair rest and then started massaging and washing my face. After that she used a scrub on my face as well. I did not ask for this service but I didn’t know if this was a part of my appointment so I didn’t say anything.I’m also not sure she conditioned my hair…my friend said the same thing.Second complaint, when they blow dry your hair they just rough dry it (yes with a dyson but that doesn’t make it feel better). I saw my lady also pull a comb from a basket labeled “used” instead of from the “clean” basket. I left the blow dry station with still wet hair. I didn’t expect a blow out but I expected dry hair and did not get that. See pics.Third complaint was when they rechecked my scalp for “dirtiness”. Overall it was cleaner but towards the bottom of my head it was still clearly dirty and she said “well it’s hard to wash back there”.When my hair was finally dry (hours later), I could feel how greasy my hair was back there. I know it was dirty still because I had just worked out about an hour before.Last complaint was when I was checking out and was paying. I brought up the fact that she washed my face and it was not what I paid for, wanted, or expected. The receptionist said “well it’s the same price so it’s fine”. I said it’s not fine because I don’t know what you used and I expected a deep hair wash instead of 20-30 min. They did end up giving me 50% off after they talked to the manager.Overall, nothing terrible happened but I don’t like that this place is charging Bay Area prices for a mediocre service and inexperienced “spa”workers. This is not a spa experience at all.

The service was pretty good and I came out of the experience feeling cleaner and relaxed! However, while gettin the deep scalp treatment it would have helped if I was given a very brief step by step run-through- so I would have known what to expect since it was my first time getting this treatment ever. It was a little awkward to have my scalp wet for the entire 40-ish minutes while the rest of my body (inlcuding my face) remained dry. The massage was relaxing and 3 days after the treatment, my hair seems light and healthy.

The online reviews were mixed so I went in with an open mind and low expectations. I thought maybe it would be more results based and less spa experience but I was curious.It was very spa-like! I didn’t wash my hair for the 24hrs before and wore a comfortable tank top under a tshirt which did get a tiny bit wet so glad I had the dry tshirt for after. They show you a close up of your scalp which is scary and tell you some stuff and give you some advice which I probably won’t follow through on.I wasn’t paying the best attention but I think the order of things was steam, tea tree scalp treatment with massage, gentle scrub and exfoliation with shampoo twice, conditioner with massage, water flow rinsing, one more massage/scalp stimulation with a little face and neck/shoulder pressure and lastly a blow out with styling and two additional scalp/hair products that seemed more related to treatment than styling.Some of the reviewers complained about the scrub being too rough and not enough conditioning products or styling but there’s also a 25min version for $90 that includes less so I wonder if that’s what those people had. Also the initial assessment was that my scalp was dry and sensitive so maybe they weren’t as vigorous with the scrubbing b/c of that?The woman who took care of me (I heard “Kelly” but that might not be it) was very sweet and skilled in what she did and I tipped her directly w cash. I had no problems communicating w her. Some of the reviews mention some of this paragraph unfavorably and all I can say is that I had a lovely experience and felt well cared for. I went on a Thursday midday and it wasn’t busy at all so maybe it depends when you go and who you get.Both my scalp and my hair feel great. Clean, all the product buildup gone and hair follicles wide awake. I would enjoy this once a month but probably only need to do it every 3 months for the benefits.

I did not read about Velvet Head Spa before the visit, so some things were a surprise. I also was not informed by the staff what to expect. Maybe keeping a leaflet for an uninformed customer will be a good idea?I did not know my head will be washed and in water for quite a long time. I also did not know that I was expected to dry my hair by myself. My hair dried on the way back in the car.Face and head massage were expertly done.They also used a gimmick of showing my scalp under microscope before and after the treatment. No surprise.I liked the smell of creams and music was relaxing.It is a shame that the therapists are not paid by the facility and expected to be paid by guests. This makes it a very expensive experience.I will not repeat this experience, though it was interesting.

The whole experience was wonderful. The whole scalp is still feeling cool and clean, even after a few hours since I left the spa! The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely going back.

All I can say is wowza. This was an insane experience. I got the largest package. Back massage, scalp massage, scalp evaluation, scalp scrub, facial, It was intense. Nina was the person who worked on me. She has some very strong hands and they did what they were supposed to do. I heard myself dozing off twice because I was so relaxed. I never want to wash my own hair again. I will be back. We all deserve these services.

It was such a lovely and pleasant experience! We got the Basic Scalp Care and Facial Massage package! They did a scalp exam with the camera before and after so we could see the difference. The products they used were organic and felt great on. They also did a gentle face and neck and head massage as well. Would highly recommend!

We came for our head spa appointments. Right away I see that this is not a legitimate head spa with technicians that are experienced with head massage. The quality of the massage was nonexistent. They were thumping my daughters head with their fist. My other daughter told me that they scalded her scalp. It was so hot but she was too afraid to say anything! These were Vietnamese workers who I do not believed are licensed to work on clients. They were polite but thats it. One person was providing scalp analysis with a camera device but she was not a trichologist. It was almost like a gimmick. It was not high quality for the money that we paid. The service was awkward and unprofessional. She rinsed my hair but got water on my top. Overall, please do your research for another high quality service.

I had an incredible experience with Benny as my masseuse. The 30 minute upper body massage was so nice, and the experience was even better with the head spa and facial. I definitely recommend this place to all of my friends and family, and I will definitely be back! I plan on bringing my mom later this year!

DO NOT GO HERE!When we first walked in no one greeted us. It was a busy Friday so we didnt think anything of it. 10+ minutes passed and some of the workers were standing outside their break room moking and being racist towards my boyfriend and I in another language. We didnt assume this, but we felt uncomfortable about them staring at us and laughing. Once the whole nightmare was over another customer who spoke their language confirmed they were being racist and rude towards us.I have curly hair and asked if they had experience doing curly hair and if they had curly hair products. The receptionist said yes. When I was taken to wash my hair and get the hair treatment the lady washing my hair and brushing it was asking me how to wash/brush my hair.... I left there with my hair looking worse than when I walked in. My boyfriends experience was just as bad. One of the workers that was talking about us did my boyfriends hair and waterboarded him... I wasnt sure whether to write a review. We honestly were traumatized by the whole experience. For your sake DO NOT GO HERE! There was so much more that I could say about the experience.We tried asking for a refund and were denied. It was almost $300 of pure torture.

OMG so fun and such a nice experience. How great is it to do something for yourself and where you feel like its truly a luxurious experience. I booked this head spa treatment with two of my friends and we all loved it. Afterwards we convinced ourselves that going every few months is a must. Its always good to treat yourself to a spa day. The staff were fantastic, friendly and professional. Go!

There is literally no scalp massage it feels like they scrub aka scratch your head with wires. the scrub daddy review below was spot on. Sadly not even about the cost of the service, even if they sold the whole service for $60 i wouldnt pay because you leave the place with your scalp agonized from how hard they scrub.. its supposed to be relaxing and spa- like. Complete opposite. Youre better off getting a deep conditioning treatment at your regular salon.

I had the acupressure facial and 30 min wash done by Kanu, she is skilled in her work and accommodating and patient.I appreciate the service provided here. Although I definitely think that my expectations were not met overall. There wasnt any teaching observed on educating myself or other clients about what it means to see our before condition of our scalp and after. It was a very brief check only on one spot off the top of the head , it wasnt a thorough check but enough to know how clean my hair was prior. The end result did show more clarity in my results although minor but my hair also felt very soft. I did notice how the camera device is connected to an app on an iPad but in between clients that camera is not sanitized or swabbed with an alcohol prep pad. Its not sanitized between each 10-20 second consult discussing before and after conditions of the scalp.The blowdry session was relaxing in itself as well and Kanu was very patient in this process. I have medium length hair and she applied a leave in conditioner as well. My hair was Id say 90-95% dry and I was satisfied with it and did not request it to be drier. I was content with the result as it was, it was just another experience for me as I had been gifted this session anyways.I definitely think that, Instagram advertisements made me think the service would be a little bit more extensive and thorough especially for the price. It does not meet the reality of what exactly is offered.Exclusive things at this location are 1. Organic products used 2. The use of one camera app to check scalp 3. Cleanliness and relaxing environment 3. Private and shared rooms.4. communication is great through text for any questions prior to bookingJust fyi Giftcard balances do not go towards tips which I was informed about.Parking is terrible. I parked behind Dotties on a spot labeled harmony and had no issue of towing. I was able to leave in my car. The accessibility for parking is terrible.Overall a great experience with Kanus healing hands.

So relaxing and wonderful service. Everyone is very kind and courteous. Do not expect a full salon style blowout, but you will get your hair blow dried pretty straight. Would definitely come back.

The techs were not clear on instructions. An alarm was going off from the head washing machine the entire time they did my scalp. Once the girl finished my wash she was on her phone and left me behind. I was unaware of what I was suppose to do after and where I was suppose to go. Disorganized and just not a good team.

Overall the spa was clean and nice and the products they had displayed and used seemed to be a good high quality brands but the services I had did not reflect a high quality experience.When I first arrived I was escorted to the consultation room where the did the scalp consultation and inspection and complaints there. Once I got into the room the technician gave less than five minutes to get ready before knocking and hurrying me up I felt very rushed and not relaxed the technician didn’t even speak English so there was a bit of a language barrier and lack of communication.The service I booked was the velvet signature which included the scalp treatment, facial and back massage.Back massage and facial were mediocre would not recommend. The facial and back massage did not feel like a spa level service both services felt very rushed and rough and not relaxing and honestly did not feel like it was done by a professional.The scalp treatment was nice and I overall enjoyed it except the scalp scrub/ massage was very rough and was not relaxing. It felt like the technician was ripping my hair out and I didn’t like how she used hot water when rinsing my hair it also felt like she did condition my hair at all.After the services were complete, I was given less than 5 minutes again to get ready before the technician came knocking on my door to rush me out so they could get ready for the next service. Then I was escorted to the consultation room again for my blow dry. I liked that they used Dyson blow dryers but that was all I liked about the blow dry service. The blow dry service was very rushed and unprofessional did not feel like a salon experience. The blow dry was rough and not enjoyable. After the services, my hair felt thin, brittle and dry.The technician I chose received 5 stars on the spas websites and her services were no where near and 5 let alone 4 star performance.All three services felt very rushed and not relaxing I would not recommend this place.

Great experience! I got the deep scalp treatment and left feeling so clean and refreshed. Hair felt so much lighter. The salon is nice and clean. We started it an analysis of my roots and then the treatment. It was so relaxing I fell asleep most of the time. Only down side is that there is very limited parking spots ao make sure to come early to find street parking

I recently visited this hair spa salon, and Im beyond thrilled with the results. From the moment I walked in, I felt pampered and relaxed. The atmosphere is with soothing music, the staff is attentive. They took the time to assess my hairs specific needs and provided a customized treatment that left my hair looking and feeling better. Plus, the scalp massage during the treatment was pure bliss! I highly recommend this place!

Not worth the money!I have a very sensitive skin and scalp due to eczema and my face and scalp burn after coming here. They didn’t ask about any restrictions and it just felt like head scratching for an hour to the point of pain. They didn’t use the round water feature so the would turn the hand held spout on and off and it would be freezing cold then hot🫣At the end it felt like they were just trying to dry the hair to get it done and there was no styling!Anther awkward tidbit is she kept sticking her finger in my ears and got soap and water in them!!

I booked the 60 min getaway (scalp & facial) and it was the best decision I’ve made this week. Daniel made me feel so comfortable and did an excellent job with my hair and face. The treatment was thorough and my skin & hair feels soft & rejuvenated. This was my first time but I’m going to come back monthly.

Ever had your head shampooed, and theyre scrubbing your head and it feels really nice? Well this is one full hour of massage, scrbbing, combing goodness. My scalp has never been so clean. I was afraid as I have kinky 4c hair. Courtney was gentle and thurough. I will make this a regular part of my self care

He is so experienced and so well-versed from start to finish. I absolutely trust him with my hair styling, color, cut and my hair care all around. He is a genuinely honest and trustworthy person and I really felt taken care of in his chair. He taught me things about my hair I never knew and really took the time to develop a vision of the best style and way to “wear my hair”. He gives people a new found confidence and puts the “joy” into looking and feeling great about your hair. Highly recommend and would give 100 stars if I could.. Thank you so much!

I was very sad my hairstylist had left the salon I went to. Its hard to find someone that will cut your hair like you want them to, I tied this place and took a chance. Im very happy with the results! Ill be coming back here for sure.

I have been seeing Edvin for 15 years. As a stylist myself i am hard to please. However i am always beyond happy with whatever he does. Color and cut. I give him an idea and he always puts his genius creativity to give me what i want but even better then imagined!

Rather than try to change the subject, how about you stick to the topic, i.e. parking.Are you just an absentee landlord, who knows nothing of the operations of the salon? If you did know, you would be well aware that Bella Capelli is closing, and at least one of their hairdressers has moved over to Vitalle Elements.Ill happily leave a 5-star review for her, but you sir or madam are in desperate need of an attitude adjustment!

Honestly, Im not good at it. It was advertised as Japanese Style Head Spa, so I made a reservation because I missed Japanese head spas. However, within 5 minutes of getting my nails done and shampooed, I was blown away ＼(^o^)／. My clothes are wet, my hair is half dry, the hair dryer is too close and its hot, so whats the end? ? ? It was the state. It makes no sense.
