I totally enjoyed the food. The lady that took care of me was excellent and the place was very nice. I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere only because there were only a few patrons at the time, so I will have a chance to go either way next time. Whenever Im back in the area, I will definitely visit again 👍

All you have to do to not only be a “good” bartender, but LEAD bartender, is have your cleavage VERY apparent and a poor, hyper-confrontational attitude to work here.I got a double gin and tonic with one pretentious tender, and my tab was $17 and tipped appropriately. I got another, with a White Claw for my friend, and when it was only $11. I raised the question about whether I was being charged correctly or if the first one was wrong. The initial pretentious bartender immediately walked over, talking to me as if I didn’t have a 6th grade education, trying to tell me the exact change she gave me (after approximately 40 transactions since ours), like I didn’t know math (I went to college for calculus). She was immediately confrontational and demeaning, clearly here for the tips her body and male patrons could provide her, and absolutely horrible to any female patrons. I wanted to make sure I was being charged correctly, and could tip correctly. The floosy behind the bar robbed her team of tips by her bad attitude, and I ultimately left without finishing my drink because she created a poor atmosphere. If you’re a man and like a “show”, 10/10. If you’re a woman and expect the same service, 0/10. I’m a local and will leave the bar anytime that ungracious, confrontational, show-boating woman is behind the bar. Do better, Blue Moon.

Loved coming here afew times a month but the new bartenders are not so friendly if youre not a man. Will probably wait a few months and see if they get new bartenders . Definitely miss shawny and her band.

Only gave one star because you have to give a star to make a review. That should tell you how bad it was. The bartender was rude and had an attitude the whole time. Didn’t even give us all our food we ordered but said “i know how many i gave you.” Rude.

The bar tender was rude, she had the idea that people go in there to flirt with her and its suffocating. You can not sit down and enjoy a beer especially with the plastic disposable cups they serve the beer in.I got cut off and kicked out, by the bouncer, when the two bartender women thought I was being pushy for saying that it is their job to serve me beer until Im ready-- its not like coors light has much alcohol in it any way.The band was nice on a Friday night that I went. It was somewhat empty-- kind of what you would expect of these smaller towns. There were a few people dancing swing and line dances. The locals seemed friendly enough, but the bar tenders kept complaining about how slow it was and seemed generally upset, and they ended up taking it out on me. Im not from the area so I would not return. Would not recommend.

Good service, great food and drinks. Plenty of local stuffed animals from the area. Pool table to challenge your friends. Dont forget about Thursday night rodeo with the local youth.

There’s nothing better than a honky think in the middle of the mountains with a sawdust dance floor and people two stepping to Led Zeppelin to get your vaycay goin… have been here many times and my buddy is very good at black jack! 😉 definitely a place to go in the ‘ fish !

This is a place for good food, though limited menu, for manly men and womanly women. This is a true American establishment.Eat here

Very friendly staff when in had a drink of whiskey and a beer before I remember that I taking some cold medicine about 15 minutes before the staff was friendly and considerate became concerned about my well-being spent the last two and a half hours drinking water and 7UP would definitely recommend to the rest of my truck driver friends hopefully next time I can get a chance to try their food

Never a cover.Live music weekends.Reasonable prices on food and drinks.Needs a lot of updating and a serious remodeling to everything,including bathrooms,dance floor,tables and chairs,And major roadgratoring on parking lot.Dont think update or remodel done in years.Live poker weekends.Great bartenders...

The country band was great, make good drinks, good food, just wish band would play country when taking a break. If you order a whiskey might ask them to serve in something other than bud light cup, unless you’re ok with that. Friendly people there.

Idk what the bad reviews are about. We had friendly service, a good burger, and a fun time on free dance lesson + karaoke night. 10/10 will be back

Bar itself is very cool, old. Some of the bartenders are absolutely awesome and on their A game, one messed up every order, even when ordering the same thing every time. Appreciate them hosting everyone for the skijoring weekend & managing it very well.

Was super excited to try this place but keep in mind small town service and hospitality doesn’t typically exist in these type of touristy towns. The “locals” are seldom. Common trend in these parts that they don’t like Californias.Local’s=good service, but only if your rude to your bartender.Californias= bad service but only if your polite and patient to your bartender.Fun fact: Yellowstones lead actor Kevin Costner is from where…. You guessed it, California. Your welcome.

Music is great. Fun place to dance. Rodeo was fun. Has live poker .Customers were very friendly. Owners need an attitude check. The older lady was very rude. Not the reputation I would want as an owner of a business. Bartenders were friendly. Besides the owners and their crew, our party had a good time.

Total scam bar.. Went in on a Rodeo Thursday night to order a beer at the bar. Tried to open a tab with a debit card. Bartender said they weren’t taking debit cards because they were way to busy(bar was half full, maybe). She said I could use their ATM at the end of the bar to pull cash out.. They refuse people paying with a debit card to pocket the ATM surcharge.. There were no signs at the door or at the bar saying cash only. I’ve worked in the beer industry for 10 years, that’s some shady sh!t.

Some dumb blonde bartender thought I was hitting on her and she cut me off and had some random unmarked bouncer kick me out. I was just making conversation. Would be a good place with better employees. Nobody wants to go to a bar to drink and get treated poorly by the bar staff.

Went to the rodeo. Did NOT play enough country music. Sad

Saw this place roadside on our way to kalispell, decided to come back and check it out! Did not disappoint! Wednesday night karaoke was a wonderful time- unless you hate country music.. the service was friendly and the drinks were cheap and the local clientele was extremely welcoming. Theres a giant diorama with huge taxidermy animals that seems perfect if not extremely out of place, a pool table, and a dance floor well suited to the free dance lessons which Im sorry we missed out on! If youre in the neighbourhood and looking for a watering hole dont pass this one by.

Terrible service i ordered food got a beeper it went off to pickup food and then they said oh your way down the line after i already waited half hr. I only had to wait another 20 min for actual food. Pretty sad. Pretty sure they gave my order to the wrong person and then i had to start back over in line. Thank god for the beeper thing it worked well. Lol

Staff was great. They were flustered and couldnt offer they greatest service in the world because the owner was sitting at the end of the bar, drinking, gnawing on chicken wings and yelling at the staff every few minutes.If it werent for the fact that it affects bartenders and BOH workers morale, ability to operate, and overall sense of humanity, the display the old, crazy owner puts on at the end of the bar would be funny.

Absolutely the best Burger & Onion Rings in town! Im a trucker and I eat food from places all over North America. After my meal tonight I dropped the hammer and said... This is the Best Burger and Rings Ive ever had! Good job to the team at the Blue Moon!

I got asked to move bar seats because the owners kids were drinking and needed space.... than 12 bucks for a small basket of nachos...no salsa or sour cream .... not a ton of toppings for 12 bucks...ill order the burger next time. Also, if you pay with only your credit card, you cant leave a tip. There is no option to do so. I dont feel that is fair to the wait staff.

Went Wed and Thurs for karaoke at 9:30. Had a great time. Service was excellent. And was able to start a tab and pay with a credit card.

Im a long haul truck driver Ive been to alot of places and ate in a lot of establishments. This place is real what i mean is real people real food and real hospitality best burger hands down. If your in the area do yourself a favor and drop in and grab some food

Rude bouncers that wouldn’t trust a valid ID. Tore it up before he even checked to see if it was legit! Didn’t even apologize or make amends when he realized he was wrong! Heard this happens a lot here. I’m blaming management! Also put his hands on a female and pushed her! Thinking of getting lawyers involved! Don’t spend your money at this dump!

Being from Seattle - this was my first time out to Montana. Blue Moon Grille was the first bar that Ive ever been to in MT. And it was quite an experience to say the least.Upon entering the place, just to the right in the entrance was a coin op pool table with two kids just casually shooting pool... Im talkin like 7 and 9 year old kids. That was quite the shock considering I thought this was a bar. To the right of us was a small blackjack sized table with folks playing texas hold em. Big dance floor in the middle, bar in the back and a live band playing some country jams.I wasnt quite sure what to make of the place as there was a lot going on. There were all sorts of ages there, literally from 7 years old up to 77 years old. It was nonetheless a lively fun atmosphere, despite it not being very packed. The décor was interesting as there was taxidermy animals all around the place, from wolves to alligators and even polar bears. There was a buck hunter video game and a jukebox that snaps photos. There was just about a lil something for everyone.My favorite part about this spot, is the drinks. I bought roughly 15 beers, three vodka on the rocks and a few shots and my tab was only $40. O_o Awesome. seriously. I was expecting a $120+ tab. The down side there was no tip line but luckily I had some cash on me. The bartender was a cool chill guy and even joined in with us on a round. We all danced, we played games, snapped photos and played some pool. There was a few overly ambitious drunks hittin on our lady friends but who could blame them! They were good lookin gals!If Im ever in town again - Id be sure to swing on by!

A classic western bar that is a must see in the Flathead Valley. The most elaborate taxidermy of any bar I have seen in the west. Dont go for the food, go for the experience. Offers line dancing, rodeo in the summer, and karaoke.

Dora is awful! Waited 20 min for a beer she was to busy talking to other ppl. Needs more focus, the other bartenders are so much more on it!

Downtown honky tonk. Montana style. I like this place but the service can be a little off. They hire strange people as bartenders with very little people skills. Good Montana people watching though...

We were visiting from out of town and stopped by after the rodeo. It was a fun local Montana experience, just make sure you have cash on you!

Good bunch of friendly folks! About 30 people actually showed up on a Wednesday evening for dance lessons! Incredible for a small town!

Wednesday nights they have a dance lessons. Nice bar / dance hall. They have stuffed bars along the side that makes for an interesting environment.

Its not over crowded n the service is great bc Im not ignored at the end of the bar even get walked up to at the pool table n asked if Im good!!!Thats Waz Up!!!

The Blue Moon is fun place. They have great music and great bartenders.

I go for the poker table. The crowd is usually entertaining. Lots of good dancing and live music.

Owner was belligerently drunk yelling at customers with bouncer hiding behind him bragging about being “the owner”
