It was a great time,The music was greatThe drinks were good, all the staff was friend ly. We are going back to watch a band in a couple of weeks.

Nice venue for viewing concerts! I dont even like country music and it was a great time :) An excellent choice for a friday night to go out with the friends!

Went to this bar last night had a great time, the bartenders where quick an friendly as the bouncers also. Clean bar with different sections to hang out. There was live band an then later in the night the DJ turned up the dance floor with a good verity glad he put some hip hop in the mix. If your looking for great spot to hit up this would be it

Awesome place. Great live country music before the late hours. Pool tables and second bar upstairs are great with a view of the stage and dance floor. The karaoke bar was also a great time for everyone there!

Decent themed bar. Has a mechanical bull, live stage, 4 bars, dance floor, small outdoor section and two levels(pool tables upstairs) which is neat. There is a cover charge at the door for men and women if the women are with men when they arrive. Drink prices can be steep.

Identity crysis tables on the dance floor on a Saturday night not much country music at all after the band got off. The band was honestly the only good thing about it.

Good layout, great location! Enjoyed the band and heard this place books some great acts. Food was good and portions are sized to share with friends. Watch out: Drinks are expensive! And to close out the night, theres a karaoke bar attached! Not really my thing, but fun to go watch folks sing after theyve had a few drinks!

One of a kind experience. Live music, mechanical bull, multiple bars, line dancing, great food, karaoke.

Drinks were good size and proceed well. Great atmosphere. Excellent bartenders. We were there during a concert, and it was a lot of fun. Only complaint is the whole place has a peculiar smell to it that, at times, was distracting to the show and conversation.

I’ve been here a handful of times and I always have a great time! Yes it’s loud, and the dance floor isn’t the biggest but it’s a fun place! Never seen serious drama or anything unsafe. The only complaint I have is about the dance floor. For a bar this big I would think they would make more room especially when the weekend comes it gets really busy & packed. But other than that it’s a fun place :)

I hate country music but I was honestly surprised about how much fun I had. The community and staff there are a great time. Joe, the bathroom attendent, is the absolute man! Their drinks are good but a little pricey compared to other places. They do have a section that plays hip hop and rap songs but unfortunately its pretty small compared to the rest of the place. Overall, I definitely recommend at least going to this place on time even if you hate country like myself.

Great place for a fun night out! Basically 4 bars in one. They have a main floor bar with dance floor and mechanical bull. And they have a bar that overlooks the main floor with pool tables and darts. In the Next Room they have a great karaoke room /bar. Its so much fun to watch people try and sing! In the Next Room is a pizza place with dance floor and Bar.

Fun bar with frequent live entertainment, pool tables, and three bars, one on each floor. Drinks are rather expensive, comparatively to other bars in the surrounding area that Ive been to. Large dance floor, usually very busy on weekends. They also have a mechanical bull. Attached is a pizza place with pretty good pizza, and another bar.. and a karaoke bar in between.

This is a fun place to enjoy with group of friends who likes not only rock music but also country music, they had a live band singing country music and sometime later rock music and i love the range of music they place from the 80s till now. The place is like a maze theres a lot of space/corners to sit and hang out my favorite place is the karaoke they have this amazing DJ that sings very well and if its a duet and you sing alone he will sing with you! People are decent but maybe depending on the time, when it was closing soon I am glad theres only a few thats wasted but didnt create any scene. It can be crowded and busy but staff are friendly you just need to be patient with your order if its too crowded. Lastly I love, love and love the ladies toilet! I Feel I am in a 5 star hotel I am blown away with the branded lotion, liquid soap, and perfume thats there and they have a selection of bath and body works, victoria secret and a lot more and there is a designated staff to help.

Its loud, they have beer, karaoke and a bull. Definitely quite an experience for the location. Food isnt terrible either. If youre looking to learn country dancing, you can get practice too. Ill be back, with low expectations, and will be pleased. Its huge so theres usually plenty of space too.

I visited TC last night for a concert and it was really great once we fought the crowd to get closer to the front. They had plenty of people on staff at the bar so the wait for drinks was minimal. The sound system is on point but youll want to stand out in front of the big bar for the best acoustics. All the decorations are super fun! Theres this giant guitar on the ceiling and giant photos of country singers everywhere. The stage seems small, but it really makes for an intimate concert experience. Thats all good and well, but lemme just tell you about the bathrooms. THEY ARE FANTASTIC!! If youre like me and need a reliable bathroom when youre drinking, this place is great! There was literally no wait which is super rare for the ladies room, but it gets better than that. In the bathroom there was plenty of TP, tampons and pads if you need them, and CANDY. They even had a bathroom attendant. LOOK GIVE THIS LADY A RAISE BECAUSE SHE WAS THE BEST! She was right there giving people towels to dry their hands, cracking jokes, letting you know which stalls were available. She told us about all the things you cant see that are available like contact solution. She said youre not going to be SOL in the TC because the bathroom has everything you need. I had a great experience at the Tequila Cowboy!

Awesome place! Great set up! The only reason I took a star off was the waitress went m.i.a. and the food took forever to come out (an hour for nachos and cheese sticks). This place is great though. Drinks are reasonable the bar tender was very nice ave they had everything in one place ...corn hole karaoke and pizza?! Love.

My work had a happy hour here and there was plenty of room for everyone to stand and talk. They did play the music a little loud which was kind of a disappointment but its probably typical for the type of establishment. The waiters I think were trainees so they didnt really know what was available in the bar but they were very helpful otherwise. The bull riding experience they had was hilarious

The food isnt worth the price but the atmosphere is good.The picture is what we got from the advertised 1lb of wings. There were 6 wings total and they were very small.Again, the atmosphere is good. Id eat before going instead of trying to eat there.

Ill admit Im not one for the usual bar scene, so take my review as biased as it is. The staff show very little personality, though I credit this more to the place being pretty busy the past 4 times Ive been there so I dont think thats worth holding against the employees. The main thing that makes this place a no go for me is the customers. Every time Ive been there, a fight has broken out between different groups of people there. A couple of times Ive had intoxicated older men confront girls in the group I go with. Theres not much the people working there can do to change their customer base and I dont think anyone working there should be blamed, but it doesnt make me like the place and better.

Huge country-western/rock and roll venue. Live stage entertainment, multiple bars, a balcony area. Very fun to meet friends or take a date. Attached pizza restaurant with delicious pizza and bar food. Great after work watering hole and weekend party place. Great place to meet nice people.

Most fun place for an evening out. The best band ever. It was my birthday celebration weekend. It was a great place to start. Met the nicest people. The bartenders were courteous, took food and drink ordersOne bartender made the best ever Pina Colada..delicious. The food we had was tasty, good presentation and reasonably priced for an evening out. This was a surprise for my birthday...loved it.

Great place for dancing, live music and bull riding! They have 3 bars inside and an outside one in the summer. They are connected to Wanna Bs karaoke bar and Luigis pizza so its one giant night planned.Eat pizzaSing your heart outGo dancing.Have fun!

Best bar ever!! Anthony and Brett hands down make the BEST margaritas in town!!! The mango margarita is my favorite(: Those two boys have always got me and my friends back when it comes to needing a good drink😍 I can literally just tell them what kind of drink I’m looking for and they ALWAYS whip me up something amazing I’ve never had before!

Great place to go see a band. Food was good but it took forever to get to our table. Appetizer arrived after the entrees. If youre going to eat do it on a night they dont have a live show and it will be a better menu and faster service.

This place is constantly disappointing. The workers are RUDE. I was there a couple of weeks ago, and after riding the bull, I sat on the floor next to the bar to put my knee high boots on, and within seconds, a worker hustled over to tell me that I was in VIOLATION for sitting on the floor. I explained to him that I wasnt drunk, just putting boots back on, and he continued to inform me that this was a nice establishment and I couldnt sit and put my boots on. (Short brunette male, the same guy who was checking IDs tonight).Rude employees, crappy music. The girl in the upstairs bar makes weak drinks.

Food= bland/overpriced, beer= WAY overpriced ($4 for a 12oz bottle?), service?= yeah right, good luck! (and they have a bathroom attendant that tries to guilt you into a tip by promoting his movie and handing you a paper towel. Really?) The ONLY good thing about this place is they book good entertainment- otherwise, HARD pass (they even removed seats around the bar before the headlining act and people had to stand)! Same experience on 3 separate occasions.

First time was a blast, mechanical bull was down for the event of the evening, but that wasnt an issue. Didnt try the food but drinks werent too pricey considering I see it more as a venue rather than a bar/grill spot. Great country atmosphere!

It took quite some time to get a drink. There was only one bartender, so I can understand there being some wait. The karaoke side was a lot more fun for my group. The restroom experience is where they lost majority of their ratings. I walked into the restroom and saw a lady cleaning, so I simply asked if this was the men’s or women’s. She flipped out and threatened to send me “upstairs” bc I was the 5th person to ask her that question. I apologized. I meant absolutely no harm. The sign on the door was a little hidden due to the door being propped open. Then told me I was disrespectful. When washing my hands I saw she had a tip jar. If you’re working for tips from people that come into the restroom, that last thing you want to do is treat someone poorly especially when she was simply asked one question. Needless to say, after that encounter I wouldn’t care to even go back.

The only good thing about this place was the bartender, that guy was an angel none of us deserve. The wait staff took 30 minutes for our patience to run out and find them to make an order. A few people in our party were served cold food. They took our leftovers after I asked for a box, they ran out of glasses and drinks. They were incredibly disappointing.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Its a great meeting spot for friends. You can hangout, play pool, watch karaoke or dance. I am a returning customer because of mine and my friends favorite bartenders, Bretly and Anthony. These guys are the faces of TC. They are what makes it They always have smiles on their faces and make us all laugh. Their smiles are contagious and you cant help but have a great time when theyre there. I keep coming back over and over because of those 2. Love them and love this bar!!!!

Was there for a work party.. was supposed to be a buffet..but was more chips, veggies & dips.. There were some wings when they decided to fill the tray/ container.. the Bartenders were friendly & attentive.. No bull riding & saw no karaoke.. usually more activity happening, but was a nice gathering place.

Really fun place for people looking for a club atmosphere, a chill atmosphere, or a wild night out. Tequila Cowboy is primarily a country bar that books plenty of great bands (or so from what I hear). Theres been plenty of country music stars that have gotten their start here, or so Im told. Theres about 5 maybe 6 pool tables upstairs, and the upstairs also has a great view of the stage where the band plays. Bars upstairs and down. If youre tired of the country music, or want a change of scenery, Tequila Cowboy is attached to another bar called Wanna Bes that has karaoke. That place gets wild! Fun time there! Tequila Cowboy is also attached to a pizza place, so you can knock out dinner and dancing, or just a fun time all in one place.

Overall a great place with live music, multiple bars. Has a mechanical bull and a upstairs with pool tables. However service is not that great. If you get there early they make a big deal about you opening a tab at the bar bc they want you to use the servers and the servers were terrible there were three times I ordered beer and never got them. The last time I ordered I waited 20 mins and had to go up to him and remind him and told him to just give me four beers because buy that time I had already waited around 35 mins just to get a beer and they werent that busy. After that I closed my tan and opened it at the bar and they were much faster and more attentive.

First time to this place. The bartender was rude, acted as if he didnt have a clue how to make a drink, and spent alot of time socializing. However the atmosphere was inviting and the band was great.

I use to love this place! Went last night its completely went downhill. You no longer can dance on the stage so now there is limited dance space when busy, they have a new DJ who played one country song after 11 and its a country bar, I loved the music the last Dj played. He played Katy Perry, Madonna and alot of teen music for a 21 and over bar. Some of the bands sound awful so when the DJ comes on it would be nice to hear alil country!I came there after I got married, many bday parties and at least 1 weekend a month, I wont go back at all.

Tequila Cowboy has always been one of the of the absolute best places to go. If youre from out of town, or even a laid back local. Just coming here offers the best from a pop room upstairs that plays the top songs, or the country bar downstairs. Even if youre into karaoke, connected to tequila Cowboys is wannabes - Columbuss hands down absolute best karaoke. Dont just take my word for it, even though Im a Google reviewer, go see for yourself. Its one of the best places to go to.

Discrimination is real at this spot... my family and I went to this bar around 11:30 pm on Saturday. They ID us at the gate. We had first round of drinks no problem. We went for second round with different a bartender and she asked us for Our ID. Mind you she served 7 or 8 white people without asking for ID. We asked her why she ask for our IDs and she stated that because people being inside the bar. We don’t even look like 21 years old.. totally disappointed. The only reason she asked for our ID because of our skin color(black)

Fun place !! Was there for a In The Flesh Pink Floyd concert. A week later we are still talking about the experience and cant wait to get back there and meet up with their awesome staff again - Christina, the manager, made the evening !

Tequila Cowboy is a nice place to visit for dining or just dropping by to eat at the bar. Great Texas All American place to hang with family and friends. Food choices are plentiful and can be shared with 2 people. (large portions). Entertainment is present at times and theres evening a mechanical bull for those who dare. Call ahead to get details about entertainment schedule.

Here for Joe Nichols show. Way oversold. Fire Marshall should be involved. Extreme difficulty trying to get a drink. Bartenders are doing their best but are overwhelmed. Extremely long lines for restrooms. Acoustics are horrible and the sound man had continuous feedback for opening act. No air conditioning so everyone was sweating and miserably hot. Headliner was over an hour late. Its so packed we couldnt see the band anyway. Ended up leaving long before the concert was over. What a total waste of money.

Packed, sticky bar, and soaking wet dance floor. Only upside was the bathroom was attended and reasonably clean. We left after barely 20 minutes. Most of which was spent waiting at the understaffed bar for one round of drinks.

They were suppose to close at 230 and they closed at 12:25. We just got there to celebrate my birthday . Barely had 1 drink. They said they closed early because they werent busy. There was plenty of business to serve for the one bartender who was working. And she over charged us as well! Pissed!

So much fun to go between bars, all within one bar! Love the great live band playing in one and karaoke right around the corner! And good strong drinks! Great atmosphere all around

Don’t judge a book by its cover!! The name may fool some into believing that this place is for one specific type of crowd but it’s just the opposite. There’s line dancing, karaoke, a game room wil ping pong and Jenga and what not. Definitely worth checking out for anyone!

Great place, lots of different areas with different music. Theres something for everyone. Attached to Luigis, who has a margarita big enough to bring down a bull!!! A must go for girls night, guys night, date night...you name it.

We went to see In The Flesh, a Pink Floyd tribute band. It was advertised that they were going to play at 7pm and that the gates opened at 5. We showed up at 7:15, there were just enough people in there to occupy every seat in house (which was expected) but there wasnt any music playing when we arrived. Someone decided to push the start time back an hour, and then another hour. So we (the captive audience) got to stand on hard concrete for 2 hours before band went on. We stood there, starring at a stage that was all set up, ready to rock, but were forced to listen to bro-country and get gauged on prices for food and beverages. I dont think Ill be back.

I really enjoyed going there. The venue is very spacious. Although it was crowded, you dont feel like you are stepping on one another. We look to visit again next week!

I like the layout and size of the bar. Dont enjoy the cover charge for mediocre bands and overpriced beers and cocktails. Fun for an experience every now and then, but I will certainly not become a regular here.

This place is always drama...security guys are typically rude and militant. Almost like they like kicking people out. Ive had fun here though and personally never been kicked out. Just seen it too many times.

Went to watch a country concert on a Saturday which was excellent. Immediately after they were done they started with the garbage music (Lil Jon, Miley Cyrus, etc.) This is a country bar, is it not? If I wanted to listen to that I would have gone to a hip hop club. Ridiculous.

I know this may be silly to some, but someone showed up at the bar on a busy day wearing a animal mask which is very disconcerting. We approached the staff and made it clear that it was uncomfortable and not safe and they brushed it off like it was nothing and said they haven’t seen anything even though the person stayed at the bar for about 3 hours. It was just very disappointing, safety should be number one in a crowded bar like this.

INSANELY HIGH cost per beer!! $4.25 for a Coors Light! ... Bartenders were very quick to serve. (Club was less than half full though) DJ was Great!

Music could not here the words. Hore next to me spilled her drink. Not enough seats. Fire alarm went off. And not able to see anything. However chris lane was amazing. Might try food nast time.. if the floor and the fans are clean.... also I cant see to wipe my bum... put a light in the bathroom stall....had fun through

Typically, I can come here no matter what and have a good time. Good country music, lots of dancing, just a great time. But I dont know what was going on today. I was ID-ed all night and before my last drink I was ID-ed again. Somehow, I overlooked everything in my clutch and couldnt find my ID. The bartender gave a disgusted looked and moved on to the next customer. I stepped away for appox. 30 sec. to grab my jacket and check my pockets but it wasnt there. I checked my purse again and there it appeared. When I came back, the bartended literally had to TRY to ignore me. I tried to grab his attention, but he continued to walk around the bar and help EVERYONE that came after me. Eventually, I got fed up, went upstairs and got a beer istantly. Only reason I gave a 2/5 stars is because no employee should be able to blatantly ignore their customer this way. The disrespect was so apparent I almost most left, but it was my BFFs bday so I stayed. Definitely not coming back if this happens again.

UPDATE: The only thing that smells worse than this bar (it literally smells like butthole and puke) is its DJ. He says he cant play songs over a year old and proceeds to play 5 straight songs from before 2010. He wont take requests for songs he doesnt have, and sometimes plays songs that sound like they were ripped from a Youtube video. Terrible DJ for how much he gets paid.Its a bar, there is country music, and there may be line dancing. I like all of these things but their presentation is just boring and in a manner that just exudes lets make money and not lets have fun

I loved the bar and atmosphere... didnt like my dirty cup that had my drink in it. Exchanged it for beer. At end of night they lost our tap only to bill us the next day for the drink that was dirty.. very frustrated.

Love the atmosphere, the food is a little better than typical bar food, the beer selection is pretty good and the staff is always friendly and attentive regardless of how busy they are. BTW the entertainment here is always top notch as well.

The main portion of this establishment is very busy. If you are looking for a place that is packed go here. If you want to sing Karaoke check out the karaoke bar in here as it is busy but not super packed. The restaurant portion was empty when we were there. Also plan on waiting at least 15 minutes to use the bathroom when its busy.

Very nice bar, first time I had visited. Not really into country but music was great and atmosphere was really fun. Had a good time.

Beer is too expensive I paid $9 for two room temp beers, I could have went down the street and had 3 cold beers for $9. Service is slow I wait 10 minutes f ok r a bar tender to even look at me. No food! Oh and they had line dancing to music videos what a joke.

Always such a fun & welcoming environment. Everyone is pretty friendly. The only grouchy person in the entire building is the man who handles the karaoke, he’s rude.

15 of my friends and I bought presale tickets for Joe Nichols and paid the 40 min uber to get to TC. Arriving 10 minutes after they started door-sales, we were told they were over capacity; we werent allowed in. TC hustled all of us, we never got our money back and wasted the uber money. On top of that, the militant staff (Zach Calver and his team) showed zero customer service with their rudeness to my friends and the others they robbed. PLEASE avoid until management is reorgd.Edit: I added a star due to getting a refund within 24 hours. Hope my friends that didnt complain get refunds.

Saw joe Nichols here, well kinda. It was so packed that you could not hear the band up stairs or even 50 ft away from the stage. No PA ran upstairs, and no live feed on any of the 50 televisions they have there. Bartenders tried but too many people is too many people. Fire Marshall should have been involved no doubt. It would have been absolute mayhem if something like a fire or any reason for a swift exit. People (lots of people)...... would have been killed or/and or seriously injured. Terrible venue for bigger acts who draw big crowds.

Great staff here. Live music to start the night off with then later the DJ comes on. Mechanical bull, pool tables, karaoke, restaurant. Always a fun time here.

Service was extremely slow even more so after our meals were dropped on the floor. Others were served the same meal while we waited 45 minutes for the remake all while our friends ate their meals.

It was fun but very crowed. The upstairs DJ sucked. Please get a DJ that doesnt place annoying corny songs. For example : Justin Beiber-Baby (DJ played the whole song).

The DJ choice has gotten better for line dancing but the dance instruction needs to be done earlier or by an instructor that doesnt take 40 minutes to teach a dance.

The sound system wasnt very good for the 1st 2 acts. We were right up front and still could hardly hear them. However for Chris lane it sounded good.

Went there for my birthday I had a good time but we couldnt reserve a table there isnt much seating most of the people have to stand up the bar is very small theres three bars in the restaurant not necessary they over pour the food was decent but not delicious everybody talked about the chicken wings I didnt think they were all that wonderful the pizza wasnt too bad but it wasnt great

The Wannabs Karaoke Bar side of Tequila Cowboy was FUN! Food was amazing! Drink selection was a full bar selection. Definitely will return!

Rudest staff I’ve ever seen anywhere. Especially the coat check guy who told my female friends “out” when all they trying to do was to retrieve their own coats.

Real country folk, youve been warned. A poor excuse of a wanna be honky tonk. They only play the bro country crap here. And whatever you do, dont stay past midnight. It turns into a ghetto nightclub. Then again, what do you expect from a bar in a big city.

I was surprised to see how small the dance floor is considering the size of the building. I also did not enjoy the environment. It just made me miss Nyohs even more!

How low do you have to go to advertise concerts with a listed start time of 8:00 hoping to get a few people to show up when you start the show at 9:00? False advertising and horseshit marketing! If you can’t be honest, TC must be on the way out!

Too loud, the staff is slightly more abrasive than most bars, and the music is too loud for the crowd. But at least they play predominantly country.

For the Polaris area, Tequila Cowboy represents the primary club-like atmosphere.Sharing owners and a building with a pizza place and a karaoke bar, Tequila Cowboy allows patrons to transition from primary area with a dance-floor/bullriding area and three bars to a smaller (though sometimes not any more subdued) karaoke place where groups can really go crazy.Patrons seem to range in age with a large number being in their early twenties and others in their mid-forties.Clearly, Tequila Cowboy is a hook-up bar...its music, price, drinks, and atmosphere bring it to a rating of 3 (average), but if you are looking for a random hookup in the Polaris area the patrons are more likely to be accomodating than many other venues--in such cases, you should consider this bar a 4 or 5.

Ive been coming here for a couple of years since its the only country line dancing place in Columbus. I only keep coming back for that and the bar staff. Its not a very well kept place, and concerts are too much for the little, poorly planned space.

Only country bar, it is a Nashville style bar. Its good for what it is but it fails to create a solid experience for dancers due to small dance space and floor that isnt maintained.

A lot of fun 5 bars mechanical bull karaoke pool tables this place has it all even live music and a dance floor drinks were a tad over priced but all in all alot of fun and one of my new favs

The management was rude and the bouncer was disrespectful. They said its bar policy that they dont take state issued ID unless its a drivers license. It cant be just an ID card. Ive been here 3 times and every time have issues over something.

Terrible bar. I would go to any other bar in Ohio before Id go back. Bad service, rude staff, managers do not care. Bars on campus are more professional than these jerks.

Good place as it has karaoke, live music, an Italian restaurant, Lugis and an upstairs with pool tables.

One of the few places you can bar crawl in the same building. Bike nights on Wednesday nights are the best in town.

Band was supposed to come out at 9:00pm. It’s. Furs my 9:53 and no sign of that bang. I paid $30 for the band, quite a disappointment.

This was a great time. Full country bar with music and line dancing, kareoke bar next door every night, attached bar and resteraunt...great time.

Dont sit at the bar you can smell the coolers..Watched some ppl walk out after 10 min without service..myself at the bar thought the service was good quick with food & drinks..

After concert they started playing pop music. I went to a country bar to hear country if i wanted pop music i would have gone to a pop music bar. So I left

This place is terrible! No tables to sit, warm beer and way too many people. If there was a fire you would be trampled to death. Will never go back!

A good amount of really drunk people. Place had a weird odor. DJ was awful, seemed like a pre-recorded Playlist.

Chairs would be nice. I know that they are trying to replicate the Nashville feel by jamming people in like cattle, but I wont go back.
