RESONANCE MARIN

Ive been too busy to handle this review and to tell others what happened while working at Resonance Marin from January 2023-June 2023.I was hired by Gia who liked my Bodywork and had told me she was Vegan so I was happy to work with her considering she was working on being less violent as anyone who practices ethical veganism is and as a Healer my morals are very high with whom I work with and whether they are ethical and reasonable, conscious people.This place at first seemed like a dream come true with so many features I liked such as have a stellar quality in the lay out, the optics, how the space was set up and so forth.I alsp really liked the way Gia had everything very organized.However, it became clear that none of these people are devoted to being a peaceful; therefore healing presence for Marin Residents.And as much as I wanted to believe it, it became very clear to me that the darkness within people there, the cut throat mentality, the willingness to walk on people and sacrifice people to make their image look nice was glaringly obvious.A woman I forgot her name who works weekdays all day in mornings til evening from a medical background, a blonde woman, was at first nice to me, but she soon turned mean when she saw how well I was doing and how much people loved my work.She kept sending me bullying emails acting as if I was okay with having my inbox attacked.She also put notes in my personal cubby at work saying things like: positive vibes only.An example of toxic positivity while being a negative person, she even went so far as to spend time after her shift gossiping about others there.She might have been the leader masseuse although I was never told this.But she was very jealous of me and bent on trying to get rid of her competition.I have a healing focus and healing nature. I walk the talk and this isnt the first time someone was jealous and tried to get rid of me.I was the one constantly ridiculed while others there got to get away with doing all sorts of unprofessional things.Everyone there is sooo uptight!When I tried to address the numerous issues with Gia while her dog was barking so loudly since she never got the love she needed and was always scared, she dismissed what I said and tried to do as she usually does brush it under the rug.I may be a perfectionist in the way of seeking to be a part of a HEALING environment with a team of people DEDICATED truly to being loving, uplifting eachother and SUPPORTING one another the way I always do.But this place was dark and had very bad energy and the more I saw how racist the blonde woman was in how she would NEVER help out or just jump in and help where needed and was angry when she made mistakes so would hide her mistakes behind her newest scapegoat, me.She is a disaster of a person.The lovely Hispanic woman who does so much for so little pay was always being abused by this racist w.a.s.p.Anyway, Resonance Marin is not all its trying to show itself to be.Unfortunately UNLESS many or most of the team go Vegan so they heal their emotional wounding and Gia makes her dog into the Vegan she naturally is with Wild Earth Dog food, its likely theyll always be on the search for people to sacrifice and abuse so they can appear like a good Spa to the public.Sadly all of those nice things there mean NOTHING without there being genuinely KIND people who genuinely have TALENT at being able to heal, will there be any true progress for the people in Marin.Ive spent too much of my life always being the better one and doing the majority of the work while others took credit for it and abused power they never should have had to begin with.I should have spoken up sooner but I have too many other things to be handling and finally I just had to say something.Gia is trying but she needs more people who are SATTVIC, PEACEFUL by WALKING THE PEACEFUL talk to really make Resonance a truly honest place to work or get massage or treatments.Pejman be violent more than once and to have Gia be violent is not acceptable.LIFT EACH OTHER UP PEOP

I am a huge Resonance fan! The spa is super chic and spotlessly clean and I’ve never had any massage or facial therapist who was any less than stellar. Bonus that the products they make are totally clean and beautifully done.Pejman runs such a welcoming front and is always so helpful and generous with his time when I need it. He is a joy! Very grateful to have this close by but honestly would travel for it.

Terrible!!! I have never heard about a place that can not book me again if you missed a session. I had an emergency and I couldnt go to my appointment on sat Feb 4th. Today I called to reschedule and they said I cant reschedule because I missed my appointment. I wonder if they dont need any clients anymore or if I am being punished because 30% of the payment is going to be a gift card that I got as present. So rude!

I had such an amazing massage here with Colleen! I seriously felt like I was on another planet I was so relaxed. It’s the firs time during a massage that I’ve really been able to be completely relaxed and in the moment and I will definitely be returning to Resonance and requesting Colleen 😊

Please go see my review on yelp , resonance spa Marin have been incredible rude, disorganized and made my life hell for a month , yes I just tried to set up an appointment for sauna and meridian massage. ( the person who did my massage was incredible, nothing to say about this talented person) but the rest of the staff.. I never ever leave a bad review, I am not a “ Karen “ I’m a very nice and honest person.Please go read my review what they did was incredible awful. Never ever I will come back .To answer to the owner that say they offered me options, that is a lie. after 4 calls where I asked to get the sauna before my appointment after your employer or coworker mess up and every time told me yes you have the sauna just before the massage . 48h before my appointment for the fourth time, the sauna wasnt set up ( even though I tried many times) the option that you proposed me was: no sauna or after my massage while I didnt plan my day like you decided I should. ALSO, no I didnt cancel my appointment, you did, I told you the issue and told you that your options was not working for me you answered me : OK I am going to cancel your appointment, you didnt even try to apologize, offer me a discount or reschedule me for another day.Believe me , do not count on me to give you a good publicity in Marin County because this has been a nightmare to deal with you and I havent experience that anywhere else in Marin County.

From the time me and my husband walked in and walking out they were amazingly sweet, professional, and took us through the steps where we could go into our own beautiful personal locker room type room with lockers showers bathrooms. They offered us drinks and made sure we were comfortable while we filled our paperwork out and then the amazing massage therapist came out and took us to our own rooms explained everything and learned our soar spots, etc. Then the magic began the lotions they use smell amazing and my lovely lady holly who did my massage was hands down amazing used pressure points and a couple other methods on me. We will eventually return there when were back in the area.

Convenient location, thoughtful design, high-quality bathroom, relaxing ambience, and fantastic bodywork by the founder and pro Gia DiMatteo. Fabulous establishment for Marin County and Twin Cities community. Highly recommended!

I drive in from Napa, and boy its worth it. The spa is beautiful, and the service is so kind & helpful. I see Gia for acupuncture and she is fantastic. She listens, shares helpful insights, and makes me feel better when I leave. Thank you!

Maria gave me a wonderful massage and Kerry gave me an awesome facial. Front of house staff was excellent, and the products are nice too. Will definitely go back!

What a bummer. Bought a package of 15 infrared sauna sessions. I used 10 of them, then Covid happened and I lived with an immunocompromised person so I was being very careful. Came back to finish my last five sessions and was told that even in the midst of a global pandemic the package “expired” and they refused to honor the remaining sessions. Unethical and very disappointing. Lovely facility other than that.

They were very accommodating, professional and provided a quality massage. My friend who was absolutely opposed to a massage enjoyed it so much she is excited to return. See you soon!

The meridian massage is just amazing and massage therapist miriam was so nice!Also the sound lounge is so relaxing, we felt absolutely relaxed and out of the world:)
