What a great shop! I was looking for some Rasta type clothing for a party I was going to. They were low on stock but had so many other cute and interesting things!Marcus was the only one working and he went above and beyond to help me find the colors and sizes I was looking for.I love supporting small business especially when they have employees that do their job so well. My wife and I had been on the market for a while looking for a certain item ,needless to say Daytona is anything less than shy of smoke shops ,we were not at all satisfied with any of the customer services that where being provided until we walked into the Purple Haze shop on 2250 S Atlantic Ave and ran into the most knowledgeable , personable shop attendant there could possibly be.Not only did she answer all of our questions with great knowledge of everything we asked she did it with noComplaints and complete enthusiasm of her job. We walked out w/o spending a fortune at all and we where happy and satisfied with the whole experience.Thank you nice lady for finally ending our 6week endeavor.P.S. sorry we didnt get the young ladies name but if shes working that day you go in you too will leave happily satisfied.Highly recommended....

Horrible customer service. I have been going to Purple Haze for 3 years and have had nothing but exceptional service, that being said, today I had a friend pick up a disposable for me because I lost my ID. Vape was burnt and they would not refund or exchange. I understand the “try in store” policy but every worker knows me by face and understands that I would never lie about something like that. Expected better from them because of my loyalty towards their company but the rudeness and disrespect from the cashier as well as not accommodating for their terrible product has made me lose all respect for them. Highly recommend finding another shop.

Went up and down from new Smyrna to Daytona beach looking for a shop. Finding overpriced terrible service for the products i needed at my budget. I was so relieved to find this place ran by a very professional and friendly dude named Cole. I would hire him in a heart beat keeps the beautiful flagship store nice and clean and he runs a tight ship. I felt he was the owner the way he Put pride in the store himself. The owner should be proud to have such a partner. Anyway great parking great selection fun store to browse fair prices and service with a smile. Cole treated me with respect when I was basically counting change for my item I needed. I comfortably returned the next day to make larger purchase and browsed the store a bit with a friend only to be very impressed with the selection and cleanliness. I’m from California but whenever I’m in town I will always use this spot. Thanks for the hospitality and professionalism Cole.

They have a big selection of stuff but they are pricy. They carry anything from jewelry to clothes to pipes.I got a new pipe for my daughter thats not breakable the guy actually hit it against the metal on the display case to show me.

Awesome people running the place, took very good care of me answering any questions I might have. Prices were very reasonable, I was actually kinda surprised. Definitely worth a visit to see what they got in stock. And unlike most stores of the type, this one separates those items that are of a certain type so you can actually bring under 18 olds in the place to look at t-shirts, posters etc...

Got a nice pair of chillums, they had a great selection and better than average pricing. They carry more than just glass. Definitely will go again.9 out 10 will go again

This place is great. I would attach a pic if the SUPER CUTE narwhal bowl i bought, but right now he is safely wrapped up for travel. The owner of the store was incredibly helpful and patient with me as I like to look at SO MANY pieces before I make a purchase. The woman working in there was super nice and helpful too. They have everything from flip flops to glass pipes to clothing. Their prices arent inflated because they are on the beach. Hopefully I make it in there one more time before going back home!

Im from Philly and we dont have many good smoke shops in my area.. I didnt realize how bad our smoke shops were until walking into this place! Place is breath taking! HUGE selection of just about anything and prices are very reasonable. If your looking for a good spot, I recommend checking this place out.. You wont regret it!

My absolute favorite Smoke Shop and Apparel Store!!! Friendly, smart and incredibly helpful Staff! This Shop Owner does not care about making high sales on the customer. He cares about educating customers on what suits them best! I’ve been going here for almost 20 years and have been treated the same each and every time!!! It’s usually a 2 hour round trip from my house. I would always make that trip versus visiting a shop closer to home because Purple Haze cares for the customers first!!! Love and Light

I visit the area quite frequently from Virginia. I always make it a point to stop in and see what is new. I’m always greeted warmly when I walk in as well as offered help if needed. The product selection and staff have been so great, I save all my major purchases for when I come to Daytona. This afternoon I was greeted by Tara who was amazing in her knowledge and assistance in purchasing some new pieces I needed. I follow and have often commented on your Instagram page which has been a great marketing tool introducing me to some awesome devices. Keep doing what you’re doing and thanks Tara for the assistance!!

My wife and I went in to the Purple Haze Shores location to purchase 3 Unlimited Banana Ice Fume vape devices. We tested the devices at the counter and one was defective right out of the box. After notifying the cashier “who said she was the manager “ it was defective she said there was nothing she could do and that we had to pay for it. We honestly couldn’t believe what we were being told and how she handled the situation. She said the owner would make her pay for it which is hard to believe considering Fume products are known for being faulty and you always have to test them at the counter. We emailed the owner who got back to us immediately and asked us to come back in to get another device. Going back in was somewhat awkward because we had to get our new device from the same woman which is not how I would’ve handled it. The new device she gave us still tasted bad and it wasn’t even the Unlimited brand. It was the cheaper version that doesn’t charge or last as long. The owner did seem like he wanted to fix the problem but we still ended up losing $25. I’ve been told by other store owners they get boxes of these that are faulty but customers shouldn’t be the ones that end up having to lose out on them. I absolutely hate leaving a business a bad review but after the experience we had there I’ll shop elsewhere.

I absolutely love this place! The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products. As soon as you walk through the door you can feel the positive vibes! I love the Delta 8 products and theres sooo much to look at. Ive been in several times and still havent seen everything. They get 5 stars and a new customer for sure!!

My wife and I stopped in for some new glass today and this is hands down the nicest owner and shop I have ever seen. All kinds of beautiful glass from various artists with the best customer service ever. The owner literally took 15-20 mins to talk to us and take multiple pieces out of cases to make sure we left with the Perfect rig. He and the woman behind the counter had the best attitude you could ask for. Can’t recommend this place enough.

The owner or manager in there is like the olivander for wands, but for smoke products. He remembered my exact piece from months ago. Best smoke shop hands down

The store was really nice, clean and organized. The gentleman in the back was amazing, I wish I remembered his name, but he was very informative and had overall good energy made sure to talk to us about the pieces, but when we went to the front desk to pay the lady ruined my experience. We asked to split our payment in half, and she complains saying it’s not her job to do the math. Which we were figuring out in our heads before she so rudely interrupted.

This place is awesome!! Every time I visit Daytona Beach, I always save some time to go to Purple Haze. The prices are fair for great quality products, and there is so much to choose from. My first visit was about 6 years ago (the products I purchased back then are still being used and work great), and its really cool to see this place expand inside the way that it has. The owner & staff are super friendly and helpful, and have the best recommendations. Cant wait to go back again!!

Went to purple haze today and was pleased with the great customer service from all of the employees working there. Mostly dealt with Erin who was very informative about what we were buying and answered every question we had. Could not ask for a better experience. Never felt rushed throughout the process. Definitely will be coming back.

Most professionally organized smoke shop I’ve ever been to; with the quality service you get from your smaller local shops. The glass section is out of this world. Everything is top quality. Both the owner and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and informative. The owner helped me figure out what I was looking for at the price range I could do. I know he could’ve upsold me on my item to a pricier one, but he gave only practical suggestions. I will definitely be back for my future needs.

Okay so Ive been coming here for close to 10 years now and even if Ive run into a small issue or question the owner and staff have always gone above and beyond to make sure Im happy as a customer. They are sincere and honest about what they do and you couldnt ask more from a shop. Staff are informative and friendly and Jochen is a big help and awesome guy!

They had a lot of really neat things but the staff treated us like we were shoplifting because they found a tag on the ground even though none of us had a bag/purse with us. They held us at the register for a very long time claiming that their system wasnt working properly but they were not trying to operate it- they were whispering to each other and left us standing there while they were obviously checking the security videos. Hopefully this was a fluke experience because they really do have nice merchandise.

Quality products for a decent price great customer service. I was only looking but the hot women behind the counter was very personable and knowledgeable. She sold me on the product and honestly its one of my better buys.

Was here 1 time last year when I was in town for a music video. Cant wait to go here again we will be back the last 2 weeks of this month to shoot some new music videos on the beach Definitely will be bringing the whole crew here to stock up.

A nice souvenir, tobacco, and 18+ head shop. They WILL ask for I.D. before curtain access. Slightly on the pricey side compared to places like the flea market but the selection and service is much better. The store is clean and well organized. I have been here several times and its consistent.

Decent selection but a bit pricey. Bought the same product at a small store on Clyde Morris in Port Orange for $20, at Purple Haze it was $27.

Purple Haze offers the best brands of Kratom at the lowest prices around. I tried the Delta 8 gummies and they were excellent! Other stores like Pumpernickel Pops sell garbage products at high prices. Purple Haze is the $h!t !

This store is definitely my favorite in Daytona!! it’s for the most unique collection of stuff i’ve seen with almost no items in there that i’ve seen in other daytona gift shops. the prices are great and the owner is wonderful :) definitely recommend as a must stop in daytona if you enjoy the green chill side of life, will be back for sure

Well the weather was so nice for me and my companys administrator to relax and have a great place to work on the project I am so happy for the opportunity . I am pleased with the new job and the people who are interested in our future together. We also had a lovely dinner . The food was delicious . I rate it an 8 .

We Went in to buy a few things. My husband had $200 to spend in the store and we asked for a specific brand and was denied service because we asked for a certian brand. Very rude employees and do not recommend shopping here.

Great selection of pieces, all nice quality and real high end stuff thats hard to find other places. Absolute best place to by your butane anywhere in the Daytona area...that would all be well and good except for EVERY time I visit Im getting blasted with EDM music, too loud to carry on a conversation with someone right next to me on top of the fact you get treated like a total jerk for mentioning something about it. Terrible customer service, one day I went in to grab some butane, no one is in the store and per usual the music is so loud you cant hear anything, I stood there for 5 minutes waiting for someone to finally come to the front to acknowledge me and after that was pretty rude when I was trying to communicate, over the music, which product I wanted. Long story short the only time I would go to this place is if it was a last resort, good shop bad help.

Another enjoyable experience at purple haze. Erik and Jess were great help. Gave me some great suggestions to help find what I really wanted as well as provided the usual down to earth, friendly customer service. Only my second time going to this store since I’ve moved and I already feel like a regular. 🤙🏼

I had just moved here from out of state and was looking for a new head shop, I found this nice store online and it was very close to me. They were very helpful and now my favorite shop! Friendly people and great atmosphere.

Have a great selection. Employees are generally always helpful. Would rate it higher but bought a puffco peak from them recently and spent well over 500 bucks with accessories. Went in there the other day and was told they no longer are selling puffco products anymore. Hate it when you invest in a product that any store highly recommends. Only to go back a few moths later just to find out they no longer selling puffco products. No biggie just ordered online got my atomizers in 2 days.

Erin & Yoan are AMAZING! We live in Jacksonville and were in town for a weekend get away when we came across Purple Haze. We were blown away. Not only do they carry a wide variety of traditional “accessories “ but have some innovative new products as well. Their t-shirts are awesome as well. Lots of stuff I’ve never seen anywhere else. If you’re ever in Daytona and 4:20 is your favorite time of day, then this is a must see destination. We are already planning an afternoon just to shop there!

My girlfriend and I walked in, the cashier asked us for I.D. Now I didn’t have an issue with this because it was a smoke shop, so it made sense. While we were in the store, a few more customers came in, about 5-8 people (not all at once). She did not ask none of them for I.D. The only difference between my girlfriend and I, and the other people that came in is that we are black and they were white. I honestly felt violated but hey, this is the world we live in so I shouldn’t expect anything less.P.s. Mr owner, why can I not reply to you directly? Give me an email or something to reply to. You are falsifying the narrative to cover your employee and that’s fine. I had nothing in my hand, didn’t even have a chance to pick up anything because she asked for ID as soon as we walked in. Never asked her for help or anything of that nature so please explain to me how we kept her busy? It’s a shame you’d try to place blame on a customer for speaking their mind.

Not a bad shop at all. Kind of annoying with all the typical touristy stuff there but I guess its obligatory for any place in the area to have most of that. Great selection of e-juice and CBD products. The kratom selection is great and its priced at wholesale and damn is there margin on that stuff. We got it for less than half of what we pay in Georgia. Nice array of pipes and water devices as well. Not bad at all for what it is.(Edit) Since my initial review,I have been here several more times and I had to revise what I said initially. This place is awesome for what I visit for. The staff is delightful every time I walk through the door. I go for miscellaneous vape needs, kratom, and CBD tinctures. The prices are more than fair and the selection is great. They know me there now and always have a smile and something nice to say. While I dont shop from the whole store as I dont have need for much of it, what I do need I will only buy there.

This is not my first experience at a smoke shop but hands down the best. the staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, there inventory was second to none. The variety if glass, accessories, and cloths was endless. Im extremely satisfied and would recommend them to anyone.

I purchase jewelry, vape pods, vape chargers, lotions, etc. at least two times a week. The staff knows me and are always kind and so knowledgeable.I bought a pair of hair sticks here last week and went to use them today, and the second one completely splintered in my hair and literally tore my hair. So I took them back in and wasn’t asking for a refund or even a matching pair! I just wanted the one splintered one replaced, and the owner said no! He told her to tell me they were checked when they got them in and there was nothing they could do for me. They only cost $4.95 a piece. It’s not about any money out of my pocket; it’s about the principle. I felt so completely unappreciated as such a loyal customer. I only even gave two stars because I love the staff. But if 5 bucks (and not even 5 bucks subtracting profit) out of their pocket isn’t worth a loyal customer base, that’s just bad business.Last word, I read another bad review written by a visitor to the area about bad vape pods to which they responded offering to replace the pods. That’s probably around 20 dollars. So they will let go of 20 dollars to a tourist but not 5 dollars to a local, loyal customer? What!?Edit: The owner completely made this situation right. He was very kind about it and replaced my hair sticks, even threw in on the house! He actually tried to call me to resolve it the night this happened, but my phone number in the system was old. I love everyone at Purple Haze; it really is one of the coolest shops around.

Came here on vacation and just happened to drive past Purple Haze. Stopped in and was truly impressed by selection and customer service. Hands Fu**ing down the Best shop by far in the entire area! If you want Great quality glass (Not that cheap thin sh**) , then you need to go here. Customer service was excellent and they had by far the biggest selection of glass. Very pleased with my purchase and will ONLY visit this place when I am in town.

Poor customer service. The lady with the deadlocks had a horrible odor about her...the kind that comes around from port bathing routine and bad personal hygiene. Then I was followed around the entire store as if I was looking to steal something from them but too bad Im not that way the guy behind the countedr in the glass room was just as rude as the lady with the foul odors encompassing her. Not to mention he was not knowledgeable on any 1 thing being sold I that room more like the self loathing lazy stoner profile he was trying to had to imitate. I say boo poor employment screening by the manager or maybe just cant smell. Maybe hire some staff that are warm and friendly and not scare away business hint customers pay your wages buy shopping there thats why the customer is always right.

The guy that owns this place (and the lady working with him) were incredibly helpful toe when I was down last month looking for a dry herb vaporizer for my terminally ill father. They helped me find the right product that was within my budget, listened to my frustrations with the situation I was in and even gave me a small discount on some e-juice since they knew money was an issue for me. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Vaporizing products. This particular store will be my goto everytime Im in Daytona. Made a lifelong customer out of me. Purple Haze has something for everyone. Theyre loaded on every touristy collectible or article of clothing you can imagine and they have a breath taking glass room. The employees are very friendly and helpful with whatever you need, I definitely recommend stopping by and checking it out yourself!

They will not honor any next day exchanges or refunds on their unused products, even with a receipt. Its difficult to hear you have to come back same day for a chance to exchange especially if youre two hours away. The owner is uncompromising and unremorseful and I just wanted to exchange for something different. Theyll also sell China made glass as American crafted. I bought a water pipe with the owner insisting the product being crafted in America, paid $170. After purchasing, returning home and removing the price tag, I unveiled a Made in China sticker under it... Highly unlikely this was American crafted but the owner insisted that I was mistaken and it wasnt true (ie. Im Lieing). The owner is very nice to people that doesnt complain. I even thought the place held a higher standard on my previous visits being a costumer that was satisfied. If youre not happy, however, the owner wont work with you or try to discredit you for saying the truth. Very shady business practices, the owner will likely lie to your face to make the sale and turn you away if you try to exchange something. Be sure to negotiate exchanges and returns before purchasing anything, and I suggest getting it in writing... My buddy also bought a 60 dollar vape torch from them thats at Harbor freight for six... Avoid at all costs or shop at your own risk... I have no other motive except helping people avoid getting disappointed, as I have. I also shopped with several friends when these incidents occurred so at I have witnesses to the above incidents... This is my First Ever review posted about a business. I dont even own a social media account. I would never maliciously post Anything unwarranted or untrue...

Great staff, very knowledgeable and friendly. Super wide selection on everything and a ton of stuff you wouldn’t expect. I go there every time I’m in Daytona.

Everything in whole store is 100% overpriced any flea market or online website will beat there prices garenteed, I paid 170$ for a water pipe that didnt function correct so I tried to return or exchange and they would not let me because I left the store and they claimed it functioned correctly but it did not. I will never be back and wont recommend this place to anyone

Best selection of all your smoking needs in Daytona. Lots of cool other stuff like tee shirts and gifts. Prices are higher than other stores in the area though.

I went into this store and the man who I believe to be the owner was very rude. Kinda made me feel like he was watching me the whole time more than helping me. Everything I asked to see he was Hesitant about showing me and was in my opinion over priced

The store itself is amazing, they have 2rooms filled with albums, CDs ECT. If youre looking for something special and cant find it, the owner will help hook you up. The problem with this store its not in the best part of town.

If youre ever looking for a unique glass piece or maybe youre looking for an airtight canister, vape juice, papers, trays, clothing, shoes, or even Florida memorabilia this is honestly the place to go. They literally have EVERYTHING you need to smoke, vape, or decorate your sweet spot. Not to mention the quality and prices! I dont think Ill be heading anywhere else any time soon.

Ive been to both of the purple haze locatios. Completely dissatisfied with ormand location Just felt uneasy. Figured Id try this location they tried to sell me this little hand pipe for $80 easily only worth $45. I wont be coming here again.

I can guarantee that E Nos post about his incident is one hundred percent factual. I couldnt believe that the purple Haze business actually forgot to take the Made in China sticker off the water pipe especially after being told repeatedly that All our products are American Made and we stand behind our products. I can also say for the product that was attempted to be exchanged, the item wasnt used and had a receipt. The owner admitted to having had a hard time selling those products and refused to exchange for a different item based on that fact. These were two separate incidents but definitely happened. It saddens me to see the owner unwilling to admit the incident even happened and seems to just resort to rely on position. It just shows the true face of the owner as well as his standards. Luckily, I can say that the other female employees that I met those two times dont show the same characteristics of the owner. I must say, those employees are the ones that raise the bar of that place.

Very knowledgable, large selection of quality glass; problem comes when youd like to negotiate even a little. We all know the headshop markups are crazy, which is cool I mean Im a salesmen so I understandmore so than the average. Everyones gotta earn a living but when talking and dealing with the owner directly his comment was oh its all computerized.... Come on now, really? Youre the owner you can negotiate or throw a few glass screens in something you have that power but other than that theyre awesome, quality stuff and large selection and the owner really is a cool guy

I went in with the intent to purchase the Pax 3 IF they had one.They did. But the owner did something I didnt quite expect. He talked me out of it and recommended the Pax 2 instead dude to my needs. It worked.I purchased two of them instead of a pax 3. One for me and one for my buddy.And theyre awesome.Thanks Purple Haze!

When I decided to vape, I checked around. *cue screechy violin*.There are the creepy smoke shops with insanely overpriced merchandise. There is Tobacco Exotica that, on my first visit, the clerk told me he didnt vape so he didnt know what to tell me. Rude on the phone and on my final trip I was testified to about who I should vote for.Why didnt I go to Purple Haze first? From the outside, it looks like a tourist shop to me. I didnt know it was a smoke shop until I googled them. It would have saved me a TON of money and time had I checked them out first. They know their stuff. Ive never encountered such personable attention my needs as well as my budget. Best customer service Ive ever had and Im from GA.Leilani is sharp, lovely, professional and kind. What she doesnt know, shell find out. Austin is a rock star. He knows his vapes. Total Savant. The way they work together means that youll get exactly what you need. Im editing this because Ive had some interaction with the owner, Johann (sp?). Heretofore, hed been a bit like Booth Radley, a presence who seemed to deal, primarily, from the back room...a place I thought might have ritual sacrifice going on...but turned out to be something that looks like Tiffanys. So disappointing. 😉 Hes their Yoda. He has a great overall knowledge of their products, how to use them and, again, another super friendly guy. He has even tech supported me over the phone when Ive been confused about my Mod.Because of these three, Ive become so much more savvy and informed about vaping. I imagine that applies across the board with all of their products. Because theyve increased my knowledge, though, I havent been in with an emergency as regularly. When I went in the other day to buy liquid, Austin told me I was missed. And, wow, being a newbie to Florida and Floridians and their ways...it made me feel, oh so welcome and warmed my heart. LOLThey have their own vape liquid line of products that are inexpensive which I find comparable or better to the expensive ones.Even if you dont vape and have a predjudice against Millenials, (I dont) Id advise going to Purple Haze to revise your opinion and, possibly, meet the 8th wonder of the world in your world.I cant say enough good things about this place.

Terrible experience rude staff sold me Propelene glycol when I specifically asked for straight terpenes they showed me the flavors through a glass case and took it to the front, taking their word I assumed I was buying terpenes only to find out it was not when I had opened the bottle, took it back and was told they could not take it back (which i expected) and was told it was my fault for not being an observant customer among other snyde and rude remarks from an employee who also the bumped Into me when i was standing in the t shirt section browsing he jumped in front of me to take a short cut and shoulder bumped me rather hard and all I got was a half hearted sorry as he kept walking, I cant even describe how upset I am at the service I received and the expensive over priced products I bought under false pretense spewed by their staff.

They have beautiful merchandise and the woman working was beyond helpful and kind. I bought incense, bowls, and a dream catcher. They also had tapestries, shirts and all of the vape/cbd products you want.

The one cashier with the beard was very rude to me from the second i walked into the door, 2 kids had been in there trying to buy a bong he yelled at them and told them to get out cause he did not sell bongs but then when he turned his attention to me he continued with the harsh tone and asked me Now what do you want? i asked a question about coals because my son had been burned by one that malfunctioned the day before and i witnessed it happen i just wanted to let him know about it i wasnt asking for a refund or anything and he yelled at me saying that product would never do that and i was nothing but a liar and to get the hell out of his store. my son buys from there all the time and im not going to allow him to go there anymore because of the service.
