What a quaint little place, I love it! Youd hardly know its there if it wasnt for the subtle signage on the street and the single that leads downstairs, very cool. Our party just had drinks there, and those were very good, cant speak to any food. Or server/ bartender was fantastic. Very excited and proud of the delicious concoctions he and the other mixologists came up with. Would be a great place for a date night, low light, great atmosphere.

We stumbled upon Emerald Eye on a chill Tuesday night. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of tropical and mysterious, creating a relaxing escape from the city.Ethan, our bartender, was knowledgeable and attentive. His attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our visit, from his cocktail recommendations to his expert crafting of drinks. When we requested an espresso martini, he expertly steered us towards the Carajillo, and were so glad he did! It was an incredible recommendation. The drink was the perfect balance of coffee and sweetness.We cant wait to return and explore more of the cocktail menu!

Ethan was great, like beyond professional and polushed. Only one on, being a Tuesday night, but with Madonna in town, a little busier than usual. We had the Smoke & a Drink and the Whoa Blackberry. Would have loved to get another drink, but with the limited staff and higher volume, we didnt have enough time before our next activity. All of that said to note that you may need to put your patient pants on when you come in if its busier than usual. Its worth it. I guess we just have to come back! Love the historic sultry vibe. Tropics in the 50s, so lovely. I just have note that the bathroom was stunning 😍

@emeraldeyedenver just opened up in Larimer Square last week Hidden beneath Downtown Denvers historic Larimer Square, Emerald Eye is a dark tropical cocktail bar inspired by the Caribbean circa 1955.CARAJILLO (LICOR 43, BRANDY, COLD BREW)Katelyn at the bar was an absolute delight! She was very friendly and informative as we asked questions about the newly opened bar. The staff overall were very kind!

What a spot! We stopped in for a drink and the vibes were immaculate. We were greeted immediately by the bartender and ordered just as quickly. The cocktails came out just as expected with taste and appearance, and the space seems to fill up with guest’s quickly but the turn over is great!

We came on a Sunday night before a show at the comedy club and had the place to ourselves. I loved this place as the Crimson room and it’s so nice to see it revived back into Larimer. I wouldn’t say it’s the best cocktail I’ve had in the city, but the location and ambience is unique and enjoyable. Speakeasy vibes.

Had an amazing time here. Chill vibes and excellent drinks. Ethan was on point! We told him the atmosphere or a story of a drink, and he delivered unbelievable delicious drinks. New favorite spot.

Loved this place to death. But mocktails need work. Mine just tasted like guava juice. Boring. When Im paying the same price for a nonalcoholic drink, Id like a little more effort. I would love to spend my money here if the effort is made :)

Went to this cocktail bar on a Thursday after a play at DCPA. All I can say is wow! Atmosphere is super frickin’ cool. Ethan was the bartender and came up with some cool drinks for me and my wife. I had a jalapeño daiquiri and it was seriously good. Wasnt crowded hardly at all (it was a Thursday though). Decorated really well so it felt chill and upscale nice as well. Recommend a lot. Will go here again.

Such a cute, Miami-esque vibe (from a Miamian). Drinks were all so good. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Bathrooms were clean and honestly v cute. I would highly recommend for a good cocktail.

In from Houston to watch the Astros beat the Rockies, so of course had to celebrate! Bouncing around bar to bar having a decent time,but never found a spot that I felt was my vibe..until I literally found this awesome spot by luck! Wasnt looking but I think I was directed by a higher power to be blessed to be invited in to this hidden gem. Upon the descension into what I can only describe as a rabbit hole that takes you to the best bar in Denver! In a group of 4(two couples) all sat at the bar and met JP who I can honestly say is the Real Deal ,in the Bartender/Mixologist.. straight up Genius! Not only were we served drinks that will blow your mind 🤯🤯🤯, but the education behind everything in the drink was the best. For someone who has a wealth of knowledge giving you VIP treatment and service, to be so down to earth was truly a sign of the future of this place! If you are in Denver and dont give this place a chance, youve done yourself wrong.

Love this conspicuous bar! The monstera sign is lovely and the stairs downstairs were inviting. Our bartender was cute and the interior design was impeccable. Definitely recommend!

We went in on a random Tuesday night and Ethan was our bartender, but said better our experience manager and libations coordinator. You can tell this is a passion of his. We had the perfect nightcap. The vibe inside was also adorable and cozy. We will be back. This is a place you leave and tell your friends. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Busy Friday night with extra loud music and pricey drinks. Total for 4 drinks was $60 and I selected to tip with cash which I wrote cash on the custom tip option line, rewrote the same $60 total on the total line and signed the receipt. Two days later, the bank says $73 charge which would be 20% tip added even though I tipped in cash. Seems like a regular scam they run based on other reviews on Google. Dont open a tab is my advice and only pay in cash.

Hidden little spot on Larimer street. The logo caught my eye and went downstairs. Awesome ambiance, great drinks, and service.

Very cool hidden gem on Larimer Street! Nick was absolutely amazing and one of the nicest people/bartenders Ive ever met. The craft cocktails and speakeasy vibe made for a fun relaxing evening. Very reasonable pricing for fancy drinks and well worth a visit.

Cant even say enough, nice things. This place feels amazing. The security is friendly and vigilant. They make you feel welcome at the door. The beautiful red haired girl is worth more than platinum and gold combined. 1 night made me realize Im in the right place !!! Mucho amor EMERALD!!! YOU ALL DESERVE YOUR AWESOME REPUTATION. Cool place, carefully crafted creative cocktails. We tried a variety and all were excellent. Well balanced. Busy, and good service. Friendly staff.

I had a very bizarre and disturbing experience at this bar. I was sitting at the bar with two of my friends having a very normal conversation, when one of the bartenders came and started yelling at us for being too loud. We asked who was complaining, and were apologetic but very confused because the music was far louder than we were. She kept screaming at us, and her manager came and joined. They told us we needed to leave or security would come. Again, we were doing nothing but talking, but we left because this was nuts. As we left another employee followed us and apologized profusely and told us the bartender was having a hard time, then the manager ran after us and screamed at us that we would never be welcome to Larimer Square again. I dont know what the hell was going on, but the whole experience made us feel humiliated and unsafe. Cannot recommend that anyone puts themselves in that situation by going to this bar.

This is a hidden gem with a speakeasy vibe! Such a cool place to relax and have a drink (which are fabulous!) And if Ethan is working, start up a convo, order a Milk Punch, listen and learn. Love this place!

We showed up and everyone was leaving slowly one by one. We asked the dj if we could request a song and he explained that he does not accept request? Thats probably why the bar was dead SMH..

Incredible bar experience! The environment is amazing, I cannot express how good of a time I had! The bartenders are so friendly and inviting! Caitlyn was such a pleasure to be served by, and her drinks tasted amazing! This place has amazing energy I’m so glad I had the opportunity to check it out, and I can’t wait to come back!

Moody vibes, comfy seating and fancy cocktails - perfect combo!

Dark and romantic space thats perfect for craft(y) cocktails. I enjoyed La Esmeralda and a sip of raicilla from Caitlin. I assume the other bartenders are similarly well-versed in niche booze selections and expect customers with seasoned palates, as well as those without, to be satiated at Emerald Eye.

I would have done a better job of taking photos but you really just need to see it for yourself. Prohibition-era reclaimed in the most beautiful way. This is such a romantic cocktail lounge- Larimer Square’s latest gem.

Too many concepts tossed in here. The theme I saw most is that it is where the bartenders go to drink. Disappointing cocktails. Maybe it is better earlier in the evening, would not recommend late night.

Had drinks and appetizers. Everyone enjoyed their drinks, and the appetizers were great for sharing. Service was friendly and fast, especially with how busy they were.

Really enjoyed this place. Great vibe - energetic but cozy/dark. Drinks were fantastic. Try the Rum Runner, which is off menu. Wowza.

I liked this place the first time I came the drinks are solid and the atmosphere is cool. The bartender today was very chatty with the people at the bar. We came early and the place was pretty dead. Waited over 30mims to be asked what we wanted to order. Seriously? Please make an “order here line” with a sign like chipotle does. To avoid loss of business

They asked me for my credit card to open an account, they charged me twice and we also paid in cash. I filed a claim with the bank and they told me that they cannot reimburse me because I went to the place.
