Originally, I was going to give a rating of 5 stars. This establishment is clean and the person at the front desk was friendly.We scheduled the foot/body combo for 60-minutes, the therapist did a great job, however, I was disappointed when it came time to pay. I only had $10 in cash because it was the last day of my vacation and I had simply run out of cash, I had every intention to add $5 to the tip on my card when I went to pay.However, as soon as I handed the cash tip to my therapist, he immediately counted it, told the front desk person in their own language the amount that I had given.And the front desk person immediately told me that the cash I had given was not enough. She said that I needed to add $10 more to equal $20 tip.I was equally astounded and hurt by this. I understand their tipping culture and their need for this extra money because I am in the personal care service industry, as well. But I would never 1) count gratuity in front of my client, and then 2) proceed to ask for more.So this tells me a lot about how this company treats and compensates their employees. And for that reason, I will not be returning to this business. I am bummed about that because I am returning to Colorado on a monthly basis and was actually excited to have found a good massage establishment so quickly.I wish all of the therapists at this place luck and I hope the tipping culture here changes.

Good Day Spa is excellent at providing therapeutic massage for everyone. I have been a loyal long term client since it opened in 2017 and Jenny and her Team of therapists have always provided the best care and service each and every time. I highly recommend.

Great experience. Got a deep tissue massage. Was easily able to make an appointment. Was seen quickly. Everyone was friendly. The massage was great. Great prices too!

The massage was good but at times it was painful I had to ask the therapist not to go deep. I had a 90 minute full body massage. The pricing on their website says $90 free hot stones. Add $10 for deep tissue. I definitely didnt want deep tissue and had to tell the therapist several times that it was too deep. I was still charged $100 and then I was pressured to leave a $25 tip because $20 wasnt good enough. The lady at the front wouldnt properly explain the pricing and the next day I called and she did the same. So if $10 is worth losing a customer that would come 3 times a month then let it be.

Best massage place in DU area! Have been coming here for years and it never disappoints! The combo foot massage is killer. Clean, great staff, comfy chairs and beds! High recommend GOOD DAY SPA!

Massage was good, but they bring you in a room with a bunch of other people so theres not much room to put your stuff down to get it out of the way. I didnt mind though until the end when I paid cash with a 20% tip and they complained about the tip, and push and haggle for what starts at a Fair 27% tip and goes up from there. This business would do much better if they would raise their prices $5 more for each service and let people tip what they think is appropriate and leave it at that. They are losing a lot of customers being so pushy! Dont bother, its not a good deal like you think!

The massage was great but then the woman at the front counter harassed us for more than a 20% tip on the $40 massage price. She followed us outside and said the tip should be more. They made up their own tip price which is taped to the counter. Very uncomfortable and inappropriate.so if you give a $10 tip which is more than 20%, they categorize that as rating the service as “Fair” which is their own made up rating. Very manipulative.To owner’s response. Pay your workers a better wage instead of pushing customers to pay their hourly wage through our tips. A good tip is 20%. You’re actually trying to guilt customers into paying almost a 50% tip. Absurd.

Massage was 3 out of 10 felt more like hard pushing then massaging. Lots of chatting going on around the spa and in the waiting room the entire time, found it hard to tune out and relax. I was told I low tipped when I gave $20 for a $75 service (That wasn’t that great to begin with) My line of work is also labor intensive and tips are always appreciated never expected. That felt very pushy.Disappointing experience

I asked for back and neck work. I received a 30 minute foot massage and 30 minutes of elbow grinding through a towel. I feel much worse than when I went in. I tipped 10 dollars and they demanded more. Nice and respectful therapists but not at all worth the time or money.

Horrible, pushy, rude managers. Massage was average at best. front desk people are completely out of line. Imagine going to a restaurant where they argue with you about your tip ? No thanks. skip these street walkers and go someplace else.

I booked a 90 minute massage, and only received a 45 min massage, even though I paid for 60 minutes.I was rushed out after the massage.When I was checking out, I left a good tip (23%), and then the woman checking me out was trying to pressure me to leave more tip.The place is nice but I’m not impressed with the service.

This place wasnt at all what I expected — several tables are in a common quiet room, soft piano music playing and water falling in the background. My practitioner, called, Leo, a big, strong young man, had me lay on my back, put my feet in warm water and started working out the tension in my face and scalp. Most massages Ive had finish with face and scalp, but this was so much better because I carry enormous tension around my eyes and forehead. He went RIGHT to it.I typically carry my trauma in my upper back, neck and shoulders. This has been a lifelong condition. I like deep tissue in the presumed Mongolian warrior style of Chua Ka, where you apply slow and steady, deepening pressure on activated muscle tissue. Leo was relentless, thank heaven. It was not an easy session, for sure, but I cannot recall the last time I woke up this pain-free.The foot work was also stellar. I hadnt realized sciatica has a correlate with the heel of the foot, but I do now. It was incredible and incredibly effective. Leo was respectful, strong and responsive. When he landed on something that made me groan, hed stop until I said I was OK. And the price is VERY reasonable. Ill be going back whenever Im able to when Im here visiting Denver.

Unless you are okay with being forced to tip a whopping 50%, don’t come here. 20% for tip is the standard expectation for restaurants, salons, and other services around Denver. I was stunned when I was told that my 22% “was not enough.” Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Make your base prices higher for each service or pay your employees an appropriate hourly wage. The way that this was so unprofessionally handled caught me so off-guard. There are plenty of other massage places in the area that do not force more tips out of their customers. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Great for working out the kinks! Deep tissue is legit! If you are looking for relaxation, you should definitely make that clear! Otherwise, the service is great nothing fancy but clean! Would definitely recommend rates a reasonable!

This was, unfortunately, my least favorite massage experience Ive had yet. The whole thing felt rushed. The massage itself wasnt that great. The woman left the room multiple times and at one point she actually took a phone call in one hand while massaging my back with her other hand (wow!). When the time was up she was quick to get me up and out of there. Then I paid and she asked me for a tip and tried to refer me to their tip guide. This felt quite like a tourist trap and overall was an experience I would not recommend.

Good Day Spa on Colorado Blvd never disappoints! Today I came in for a massage and even though they were short staffed & very busy, the owner jumped in to accommodate me and help her staff. Its awesome to see an owner do that and be hands on! Polite, professional, and pricing is very affordable! Would definitely recommend 5/5!

I have been to The Good Day Spa twice to get a full body massage. It has been an amazing experience both times. The Spa is clean and organized. The staff and the owners are very kind and helpful. Joe is has been my masseuse both times and heIs absolutely wonderful. I feel safe and cared for here. I will keep going back. Thank you 😊

This is my favorite place to get reflexology. It’s super clean, and easy to get an appointment. I like that they use a lot of sounds, nice music and they have a big water feature that’s relaxing. They really spoil you. Hot towels, the towels are always clean and fresh where other places re-use blankets. I used to go to mins but it was dark and dirty I’m so glad I found this spot! The massage is always reliable. They work really hard.. they are strong but it’s tough work. You need to understand the massage is very reasonably priced- please do the right thing and tip these people a living wage! I think the massages average $45- $55 for more than an hour. I always tip at least $15. If I do 90 minutes it’s $20. They earn it. The level of service is all around 5 stars.

It was a great massage. Im 9 months pregnant and it really helped some of my discomfort. I wouldve loved to go back, but it turned out to be one of those places that expect a 50% tip and will argue with you about it for 10 minutes. If you want more money, just charge higher prices. This back end haggling and lack of transparency over expected pricing is not cool. Wont be going back, as the conversation ruined my massage.Update: Wow, just saw the owners response below and want to add that they are incorrect. I had not come to them several times. That was the first and last time. So all that about my normal tips, etc, is straight falsehood. Good luck with your business guys.

We had a group event at Spa. It was wonderful! great service, very clean...everyone in my group enjoyed the foot massage.

My friend and I went there to get 60 min foot/combination massages. They started hers right away, but were clearly busy. So after I was laying there for about 5-7 min they told me it was going to be a 30 min wait. It was annoying that they didnt tell us right away, because we would have just come back another time. But thats not the point of this review. Anyway, because of the delay, I asked if I could just do 45 min instead if 60 min because I wanted to get done sooner, so my friend wouldnt have to wait a long time for me to be done. Clearly there was some sort of miscommunication because she said theyd do 45 min, but have two people work on me at once so that it would get done sooner. The man that did the majority of it was fine, not great, but adequate. The woman (I think the owner or manager) that did the head/scalp massage portion gave me a literal headache for how hard she was massaging me. After the massage ended I went to pay and they charged me the 60 min price, instead of the 45 min price, but it was a minimal difference so I let it go. And Im assuming they thought doing it both at the same time was fine? But I asked for 45 min, so they should havent both masaaged me to charge me more, they should have just done it for 45 min. But the most frustrating part of this experience was similar to what another reviewer said. They have created their own incredibly high tip suggestions. So, when I tipped 20% the man literally erased my tip in their iPad and asked me to do it again. He was visibly angry at me and when he erased it he pointed to their sign that said I should tip more. I again tipped 20%, and he tried to erase it again but I told him no and to stop doing that. First of all, your massage wasnt amazing, and the woman who massaged me was straight up bad. In my mind tipping 20% was generous, especially since I was tipping on the price of 60 min when I asked for a 45 min massage. Secondly, when I told them that erasing the tip and asking for more money is rude and disuades people from returning, the woman that had massaged me told me that they work hard and deserve more. Welp, hate to break it to you, but even by your own tipping standards (another reviewer posted a photo of them), the customer is supposed to tip based on how good the service is. And this wasnt great. Also, the business has the option to raise their prices to pay their employees more. Getting angry at your customers and erasing their tips to get you to tip more is despicable. I am already anticipating the response I will receive on this review based on how the owner has responded to others, and I will save you the time. The only response that is appropriate is an apology.Edit: LOL to the owners response. Which should tell everyone what they need to know about this place. Dont worry, I wont be returning. I suggest the same to others.

Best massage place in Colorado. Very clean. Staff is friendly and professional. Staff is also really great at what they do which is massage therapy. I never been disappointed and I go quite frequently. My last massage was from Lisa and it was amazing. She used hot stone therapy on me and it really helped with my back pain. This is place is definitely one of the best and I would recommend them to anybody!

I came in for a foot massage. It really wasn’t a reflexology foot massage. It was more of a combo body foot massage. But overall was not bad. The massage was $40 and I tipped 20% or $10. When I got home I got a nasty and threatening text message from the shop. I am assuming maybe the owner? Telling me that he gave me the only woman massage therapist and that my tip did not exhibit enough appreciation. The text went on to threaten that if I ever come back I can never have a woman massage therapist. What kind of business practice is that? I certainly would have tipped more if I understood there was some special protocol for a woman therapist. It kind of makes you wonder what kind of conditions these women are working under? I will never be back and I will be happy to share my story with as many people as I can. I see other reviews that say they also received rude text messages for not tipping enough. So it is not just me. It is how they work. Find another spa. There are many to choose from!!

I came here all the time and loved going. Today the massage therapist ended earlier so I tipped less and communicated that with them. I get home and get a nasty message from the owner that says the following .“. I honestly tried my best to accommodate you, but every time after massaged you, the employee got so upset. Everyone! So please dont come here anymore. No one would do for you. “I always thanked them after every appointment, tipped them and even sent new customers. I can’t believe how I was spoken to and even told to never come back. I have never had this experience before in my entire life .Very unprofessional how they speak to the customers .To respond to your response, I was wearing a wig and didn’t want it to fall off. And In terms of smiling it’s been Covid for almost a year so hard to see a smile with a mask on. Never heard of a business calling their customers abusive. So horrible to be treated this way.

The massage was excellent. This is the type of Thai/ deep tissue massage that my boyfriend & I were looking for. They pay attention to detail & really made me feel more relaxed & less sore after the massage. Only complaint is I booked a couples massage & it was done outside of the rooms so there was no privacy since it was next to other customers. Next time, I will just book a single massage instead.

I will be coming back here - everyone is nice and professional. There are private rooms and a large front room where you can get a massage with a friend, or if you dont feel comfortable taking everything off. I chose a private room and had a nice 60-min full body massage, with a hot stone bonus.

Love this place! Try to come once a month! This is an Asian style massage and is the best! Makes my feet feel like new. This type of massage can be more firm than western style, just ask for less pressure if needed.

I came on a Saturday around 7pm (without an appointment) but call just Incase you think it may be busy. And I requested an hour of body massage. My experience was amazing. The workers were polite, professional, and did an amazing job with my back. Being a graduate student gets stressful, but by coming here, they literally take your stress away. Their service was outstanding. They put their heart and soul into the massages.~Brian

We had a great experience here! I took my friend for her birthday.We each got an hour long hot stone massage and had a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating experience.I highly recommend this place! We felt very welcomed and cared for by the staff.I would absolutely go back!

My massage was not good. The reflexology massage was rough around the neck and shoulders and then just felt like a light foot rub on the feet. The masseuse never even hit any pressure points in my feet. At least three people did the massage (it was only 60 minutes). It was also really noisy, which made it difficult to enjoy. I wouldn’t return.

I am 23 weeks pregnant and just really wanted a massage on my legs below my knees and my feet. They did an amazing job, I literally fell asleep. So gentle and nice, propped me up with pillows so I was reclined and my back& belly were comfortable and safe. Perfect amount of pressure, very clean atmosphere, definitely going back again in a couple weeks.

What a nice surprise located right on CO blvd in strip mall. Its recent grand opening they are doing complementary 30min foot massages. Foot massage (reflexology) actually has some scientific studies that back up its healthful benefits or at least it will help with stress of daily life.Price start at around $30 where you get foot and your back massaged in about an hour in a community room. If you prefer typical full body oil massages, price start at $45 per hour in private rooms. Again the quality will depend on who the massage therapist is there that day.Appointment is not required but I always call ahead to let them know how many people in your party so you dont have to wait long for the next available therapist. This place seems to have a professional design and lady manager up front was very kind. Highly recommend.

Hands down, best massage ever. Well, if youre into an athletic massage instead of just being softly pet on your back. In fact, one of my athlete friends said it was the best massage of her life and the joint manipulation in addition to the massage seriously increased her blood flow and circulation. I like that they have a frequent-purchaser card. The prices seriously cant be beat, and the hours are very accommodating.Tip: get the combo massage. Every time.

I was hesitant about this place given the extremely low prices and instant massage availability but decided to give it a shot since so many other reviews were so good.Now I see why the prices are so low. The facility is nice but the masseuse seemed like he had no formal training and did things very atypical for a massage therapist- ie getting on the bed with both knees for leverage, using his nails in the foot massage, and just leaving the room with no explanation in the middle of the massage while leaving the door open. I felt uneasy throughout my massage and left with my back feeling bruised and worse than when I went in. Will not be returning.

Massage was mediocre and they forced their own tip amount on me and got upset at what I wanted to tip them. I will not be back and you shouldn’t go either.

Best massage Ive ever had. Im very picky with my massages and always look for a strong deep tissue, and this was exactly what Ive been looking for. Im coming back every month, no doubt. Jason is absolutely the best!

Have been to Good Day spa a few times. I have had a different therapist each time, but each time the massage treatment has been excellent. Great value for money! I plan to continue my visits.

Both my wife and I enjoyed it, especially the 90-minute massage and recommend you find a therapist you like because quality depends upon the therapist you get.I only wish that during the first part of the massage that they would actually put a warm and wet towel over your eyes instead of just a thin dry paper towel.... would make it 5 stars!

A fantastic message. I got a full body message for sixty minutes and it felt great and very relaxing. They used hot stones at one point and that felt heavenly. I will definitely be back and use Good Day Spa as my go-to message.

Great value, super clean, and professional. No sketchiness vibe like some other places seem to have on Colorado. The foot massages we got included head, shoulders, back, and leg massage. We loved it and highly recommend.

I was in the middle of a very good massage when a screaming and punching fight broke out among the staff. I have no idea what they were fighting about. A few minutes after it began the therapist in my room left and joined in. I opened the door and yelled , stop or I’ll call the police. It was crazy scary. I quickly got dressed, put cash on the counter and left. Another client lett his room at the same time. I’m still shaken by the incident, it was violent and intense!

I booked online and chose the deep tissue. This place was very nice and clean, and the staff were friendly. I was taken back right away to a private room, and the massage was excellent! I highly recommend this place. I will return again soon!

The man who massaged me did a great job. I finally got enough pressure!! It felt like I got a sports massage (a good thing). Ill be coming back! I loved that I could walk in on a Saturday afternoon and barely have to wait.

The manager is really rude. They keep talking to each other loud while massaging customers which is not professional. Aside of that they are sometimes late to their appointments. Today will be the last time I have visited this place.

Good day SPA is an amazing hidden gem. They offer very cheap massages that are just amazing. I cant tell a difference between them and an expensive place.
