If you value your money and time then do NOT get a massage here. The Regional Manager, that has the botched fillers, and higher ups are absolute terrors and treat their staff so poorly. One of the general managers that worked there was not paid the salary they were promised when promoted, therefore, couldn’t pay their rent and was forced to move out of state to keep a roof over their head. Good workers that try to contribute and advocate for changes to improve the work environment get fired, yet employees that do nothing but cause problems and that have no issue yelling at customers are allowed to keep their jobs. Most, not all, the massage therapists are terrible and seem like they really don’t want to be there. I booked three times with different people, whom I was told did deep tissue massages only to find out (once I was on the table) that they didn’t. The only masseuse on staff that actually did “deep tissue” was clearly out of breath while massaging, sweating profusely, and even fell asleep while giving the massage. So uncomfortable. Bottom line, do not give these people your money unless you want it to be a waste. I highly recommend taking your business to somewhere like The NOW for a massage that is well worth the price. Massage Envy Cherry Creek is an absolute disgrace- ripping customers off & taking advantage of good employees- they should be shut down to make space for a business that actually does good work. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. For those that have been tricked into getting a membership, just cancel the card they have on file for you and they’ll stop reaching out for payment in a few weeks.

I have to quit I can’t do this anymore. I have 25 some massages built up and can hardly schedule appointments. I showed up at the wrong time and asked them to go ahead and tip my provider. I see another 75.00 charge come through later. They said their people still have to get paid but if I had been there they wouldn’t have charged me $75 as I already paid for the monthly fee. It makes absolutely NO sense and they are robbing people with the inability to book regular appointments. Not to mention their app sucks as you have to go through ridiculous hoops and can only pick 3 locations when trying to book. They are losing this long time member as that is an underhanded policy. I paid the monthly fee and cannot use up my banked credits because it is so difficult to book. I have seen the class action suits against them for these kinds of practices.

This review is for Tina who does an amazing job with her facial services. I know ME gets a bad rap for their credit program, scheduling issues and things that the other reviews already mention…I was about to give up on facial services here as well but I read a few fantastic reviews about Tina at this location and decided to give her a shot. I have had such great facials from her. Tina is kind and gentle and very knowledgeable and passionate about skin care. I’ve had microdermabrasions and chemical peels with her and my face has never looked better. If you’re looking to make some positive changes with your skin care please give Tina a try!

Massage Envys membership is misleading and feels like a complete SCAM. When I signed up, I was not informed that I would be locked into a 12-month contract. If I had known, I would never have joined. Now that I’m moving out of town and no longer need their services, Im forced to continue paying for a membership I dont use. Despite my situation, they refuse to let me cancel, and the monthly charges keep coming. Their membership policy is deceptive—stay away from Massage Envy!

Just had my first experience at massage envy and I was not impressed. I got a gift card here so I thought I’d try it out and treat myself to my 90 minute massage, I specifically requested someone with firm pressure and asked multiple times if the lady I’d have was capable of it. They said yes. But that was not that case and I even asked for harder pressure. As someone who avidly lifts and does sports I get pretty tense and sore. I was really looking forward to this and after spending 160$ I just felt I should walk away feeling refreshed and relieved, but I left feeling like I just got a rub down and it was sooo slow that I felt so much more could’ve been done in that amount if time and I still need another massage.

This is going to be a long read but if you’ve dealt with this place, you know why. For starters, the membership is a scam. It was easy to book when I was a guest but once I became a member suddenly they were booked out for months. I asked my therapist about this and she told me they actually have plenty of openings but they tell members they’re booked out because those openings are specifically reserved for non-members. So It seems they only care about giving you an experience until you sign the contract, then once they have your money that all goes away and all their attention goes toward convincing the next non-member who walks in to sign up for a membership while their paying customers suffer. Don’t be fooled. And don’t bother trying to cancel through them either, they jump through every hoop possible to avoid letting you. You’ll go back and forth for weeks if you even get a reply at all. Instead of playing their game I just got a new card. After a few months of threatening me over my monthly membership fee (For a membership I can’t even use) they told me my membership had been cancelled. So my advice is Just get a new debit card and move on with your life.Lastly, some smaller complaints. Massage therapists are inconsistent and drop off the schedule on a whim. They will charge you to cancel but the therapists seem to be able to call out sometimes even the hour before your anppointment and it’s just tough luck for you. The location is caked head to toe in dust and grime and the trash cans in the restrooms are usually overflowing with trash and paper scraps. You can hear every word anyone says nearby through the walls during your massage. And the front desk staff are very unhelpful. at their best they don’t seem to know what they’re doing and at their worst they have nasty attitudes and will straight up argue with you rather than find a solution.

I thought it would be a nice treat to get myself the monthly massage service for my birthday. What a terrible mistake and frustrating experience this has been. I’ve been paying 85 bucks a month for almost a year (you can’t just cancel the monthly service) and only been able to successfully book and receive 2 massages. This place is absolute trash and a total waste of money. They never have appointments (even though you pay monthly for their schedule that can’t handle monthly massages). So you think “maybe if I book months in advance I’ll actually get a massage” …just for them to cancel last minute when their therapist calls in or quits. Save yourself the thousand buck trap of a contract and go somewhere else. I’m so disappointed with myself for how much money has been wasted on this place

7pm on a Friday, theyre still supposed to be open... doors are locked and lights are off but I can clearly see the girl behind the desk. I knock and she barely looked up from her phone to see me, with no acknowledgement she goes right back to scrolling on her phone. I called 3 times and watched her ignore the ringing phone. Tried leaving a voicemail on the 3rd attempt and she ended the call as soon as I started speaking. The rude entitlement and audacity is bewildering. How do you not call your clients that have booked appointments to let them know that you are closed for a water main break? How does this happen… Having a voicemail speaking about being closed due to the water main break is completely different than taking the time and courtesy to call your paying clients to let them know that you are closed. Instead, we have to spend the time driving, parking and walking to the front door to find out. You have lost a 10 year+ customer. Customer Service 101

I have been a member of massage envy for many years. Usually this location is great until today. I have a family member in from out of town. I planned an massage for both of us. Unfortunately the therapist for my guest ended up getting sick. I called the office as soon as we got notification. I asked about another therapist. Unfortunately there wasn’t one. When I asked to then cancel my appointment without penalty they refused. Said I had to come or pay. They didn’t care that the guest was from out of town and how rude it would be for me to still attend the appointment. I have missed appointments and always paid for a missed appointment that was 100 my fault. Allowing someone to cancel for this type of reason is good business not takes care of your customers. It makes it so they want to come back and bring others with them. I even asked to speak to a manager. They wouldn’t speak to me. When I asked about a regional manager I was told they don’t give out that information. This is alarming. Where is the transparency? So frustrated. Will not utilize this facility in my membership any longer.

I just canceled my membership after 12 years. The years of business I gave them means absolutely nothing to them. They keep raising the membership price without notice. Its close to impossible to get a massage appointment at any of their clinics. I wanted to cancel sooner, but I couldnt because I had credits to use and was not able to use them until recently. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because of the staff at the Thornton clinic. They are great and actually respond to messages and offer to place you on a waiting list.

This is a shady business. We signed up for a 6 month subscription that ended up being indefinite, which was a surprise to us.They’ve raised the monthly premium twice, and continue to charge us months after we’ve filed cancellation paperwork. We even changed our credit card number, but they have somehow found a way around that. The masseuses may be friendly and effective, but the business practices here are shady and border on fraudulent.

I have had a massage membership for over 15 years with Hand and Stone and Massage Envy, close to 10 years with Massage Envy. Never had issues and happy with Massage Envy until a few years ago. Gave them some mercy with COVID but you CAN NOT get an appointment with them. And since you have to book six months out, they cancel nearly every appointment and appears I was charged my credits for when THEY canceled last minute. Asked for an accounting of the credits compared to my appointments and they wouldn’t provide. Wrote off my losses and canceled six months ago and decided to book an appointment (since I have a $120 credit due to a class action lawsuit that expires this year which speaks for itself!) and just got a call today canceling saying “there must have been an error booking since the therapist booked with a month back doesn’t like to do 90 minute massages.” Absolutely ridiculous! And although they say you can use your credits at other sites, you will get charged additional fees to use them at several. And those franchises openly tell you they do that to assure their members have first priority and if you have a membership with them they cancel others before you.

Therapist are great when you can get into them and when they don’t cancel on you and turnover is high. Front desk members are not so great. They are generally rude on the phone if you can get through to them. They don’t really try to help you out, if they can’t solve the issue they don’t escalate it they just say they won’t help. I wish I could change where my home location is but once you sign up with a store you are stuck. Other stores I have gone to try and help you out so much more and are friendlier. My advice to those thinking about signing up with this location DONT. Sign up somewhere else. Their phone line is a 50/50 shot if they pick up or if they have some answering system on. I have been trying to transfer my credits for a massage to my husband over a span of 24 hours during work hours. I have only been able to leave a message. No call back. His massage is today. I may have to go in and talk to them face to face. Since Covid, it was hard catching up on using credits. I swear I am canceling as soon as soon as I catch up.

First of all they are always booked weeks and weeks in advanced. The front desk recommends subscribing to a massage monthly plan but you can’t book anything for minimum of 6 weeks out, Kinda ridiculous package. No I’m not going to call and call and call to see if you’ve had cancellations. Don’t sign up for their membership it’s a waste of time. Also their calendar and booking process is outdated, the app and what they really have open don’t ever match. The manager literally just sat there as I was trying to discuss the issue, she’s better working else where. Sadly this is a franchise so corporate can’t even help. Beware!!!! Next the therapists are great but if you book a 60 minute massage you really are getting 50 FYI

This place is SO poorly ran. Nothing against the people that actually give the massages, it is all management. I became a member in February and 2 out of 3 of my appointments since then have had to be rescheduled. Turnover is horrible and I have not been impressed by anyone at the front desk. Today was the final straw, I had a massage at 8pm and got an email at 4pm that my massage for today was cancelled. I had to call them and ask if my massage was actually cancelled because I just happened to check my email and see that. If I hadnt checked my email, I wouldve shown up only to find out it was cancelled since no one called me. Horrible service.

Went against my better judgement after reading horrible reviews and went into this hell hole. The RUDEST front desk person I’ve ever experienced. I walked out after my facial appointment (which was already paid for) and she said I still needed to check out. I waited in line for another 5 minutes and told her I was disappointed in my service because I told my esthetician that I had false eyelashes and to please avoid the area around my eyes. She said it wouldn’t be a problem but still got product all over my lashes. When explaining this to the front desk person she said “well sometimes you have to do prep work” and I asked what prep work I needed to do? She said “I said I didn’t need anything from you” and I asked her again what I should have done so I know for next time. She said “well I’m not an esthetician but if I cared so much about my lashes I wouldn’t put myself in a situation where someone could touch them.” I’ll be filing a formal complaint.

I had a poor customer service experience at this massage envy location. I was told that I received a text message in the morning (while I was asleep) that my therapist was unfortunately still under the weather. This implies to me that he was sick prior to this morning. I received a text message the day prior confirming my appointment. Is there a reason that I did not receive a message the day prior about him being sick? I might have wanted to cancel my appointment if I knew he was sick.Unfortunately, I did not receive the text message the morning of my appointment, after receiving a reminder text the day prior, and I showed up to my appointment. I have a few concerns, since the garage is closed for repairs I parked on the street and paid the meter. I was aware the garage was closed from the text message the day before. I acknowledge now that I received the message the morning of the appointment but I was working today and it got lost in unread text messages. Missing text messages while asleep or at work must happen to others. I reviewed the message that I received and it does not explicitly say that my appointment was cancelled, it only said my therapist was out sick and to call back to get on the schedule. It also says to please confirm that I received the message. Since I did not confirm that I received the message why did someone not reach out again? Also, the text does say that they tried to leave a voicemail but the phone cut out. What does that mean? In this case I would think you would call and text back again closer to the appointment.I did receive an email time stamped two minutes after my appointment time that my appointment was canceled. If a client called to cancel same day they would be charged a late cancellation fee. I asked about getting a refund and was told that I could not get a refund or be reimbursed for parking. I asked to speak with a manager and one was not present. I understand it was a Saturday and you might not have enough management staff to have managers present during business hours. I asked for a managers phone number and the check in staff did not have one to give. I asked for a business card of the manager and the check in staff did not have one to provide. I was offered a managers email that was provided on a sticky note.I have been a member at this location for many years and also referred friends here and family to other locations. I will not recommend this location going forward. This review does not reflect the talent of the therapist but more on the customer service of this location.

The manager provided contact information directly to work with them, and sadly it became a problem as nothing made progress. At this point I’m just holding on to get a refund because when I try to use the credits it becomes a hassle and destructive because it puts me in a worse place with more back pain because appointments are cancelled at a rate of 85% -90% of the time

Horrible experience canceling my husbands massage. My husband and I both had massages scheduled for the same time, they called to tell me mine had to be canceled and to call back to reschedule. I called back twice trying to reach someone, but ended up leaving a message saying to cancel my husbands massage and that we would both just reschedule online. Apparently they called back to get my husbands phone number... Which I missed, but here’s the thing, I left his name and what time his massage was, apparently that wasn’t good enough. I went to reschedule our massages online and noticed his was still listed on his account. I called again to make sure it was actually canceled as it was the day of the appointment. THEY CHARGED US A $99 cancellation fee because I didn’t call back and give my husbands number!! I called to get this resolved because that is just outrageous they had his full name, and the time of his massage, not to mention my name which is the same last name so I don’t believe they couldn’t find him... Anyway when I called I got the run around, was told they couldn’t do anything but they’d escalate the situation and have the manger call me first thing the next morning. That was 3 days ago and the charge is still in my account...

So I called to make sure my appointment was still set. I spoke with a rep who told me the system checked me out as a guest but that my appointment was still valid and I was good to come in.When I got there, the rep I spoke with over the phone was at the front desk and said she had to make sure there was a room and walked in the back. The manager then came up front, was clearly in a terrible mood and the first words she spoke to me were, “I came off my break for this.” Immediately I was taken back, but explained my situation. She seemed annoyed just at my existence there. We had a roundabout conversation because she didn’t understand my situation at first. She sighed, and told me I didn’t have an appointment and that she couldn’t help me. Her rude demeanor, contemptuous facial expressions and attitude was egregious.Ive worked many years in the service industry in my past and even on my worst days, I didn’t treat customers this way. Finally she asked me if I’d like to make an appointment. One of the worst businesses I’ve dealt with in any industry. Absolute joke of an organization. Once you are a member, you won’t be able to use your credits because they don’t have any availability. And then when you try to cancel your membership you have 60 days to use your credits. Have fun trying to use your credits in 60 days when they are currently booking out 3 months. On top of that, the quality of the therapists are for the most part extremely poor. Avoid this organization at all costs.

I’ve been a client at this location since they opened the doors in the early 2000s. I haven’t had a terrible experience until my visit on 2/23. My massage therapist, Tana, was and is fantastic. I cannot recommend her enough. My problem is with another therapist that barged into the room, knowing full well I was still in the room, because we were running a bit late due to a delay with the front desk staff being short 2 people. I was mostly dressed, but not fully dressed. This therapist that wanted the room would not even acknowledge my existence through her pursed lips and heavy sighing. I expressed my displeasure with Danielle, the acting manager. She handled the situation well and offered me an enhancement at my next massage. I declined. What I wanted was an apology from the other therapist. That’s all. Her behavior was unacceptable, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. I’ve come to find out she’s a lead, meaning she’s in a leadership position at this location. I understand people have bad days, but this behavior went far beyond that.I requested to have Ali, the location manager, contact me. It’s been a few weeks and I’ve called a few times. I even spoke to Danielle again last week. She assured me that Ali knows about the situation and would be contacting me. Nothing. No email, no phone call. If you’re coming to this location, know there is little to no customer service and management really doesn’t care.

I joined ME in Cherry Creek prior to COVID. At first, didn’t have problems booking the therapist I like at a good time each month. I chose not to suspend my account during COVID as a means to support a “local” business and hopefully the therapists. During this time, ME continued to bill me, and I started racking up credits. When the restrictions eased, it became impossible to book appointments sooner than 6 weeks out (when the calendar updates) and almost never my preferred therapist or times. After checking for appointments several times a week and being unable to book weekend appointments, and the front desk being unable to help either, I asked to put a hold on payments so I could work through my credit backlog. They said No. If I put a hold on payments, I can’t use my credits. I asked for contact info. Front Desk in Cherry Creek gave me a corporate email. I emailed them and they referred me back to the local management. (During this time, they raised their prices!) I emailed the local management. Instead of trying to address their service issues or work with me on a temporary hold, they simply emailed me a cancelation form. I mailed the form a month ago. 30 days later, I’ve rec’d no confirmation that they received my cancellation (the form says w/in 10 days). I called to see if they rec’d it and the front desk said that they didn’t have that information, I’d have to talk to the manager. Asked to be transferred. Manager not there. Asked for a direct line. Won’t provide because it’s the manager’s personal phone. Manager hasn’t returned my call. Meanwhile I continue to be billed monthly for a service I can receive at best every 6 weeks (if I’m willing take time off of work to come in mid-day on a weekday).ME Cherry Creek continues to bill me for service they cannot provide and has ignored my attempts to 1) work with them or 2) cancel. Local management has been completely unresponsive and unhelpful. Corporate passes the buck. Next stop is to dispute the charges with my cc company.

They have had to cancel our massage bookings two months in a row the day of. So now it’s been 3 months since we have had a massage, while they still take our money every month. We would have to wait another month to get the next booking, so 4 months as they take our monthly dues. They rarely answer the phone, customer service is equally disgusting and management namely Joanne is absolutely pathetic and the sole reason that my wife and I will no longer use Massage Envy Cherry Creek ever again. Totally destroyed a 7 year relationship. Now we will have to fight to get our monies reimbursed.BEWARESTAY AWAYTerribly run business... When we do, we have to wait a month, then they get cancelled the same day after they give us the confirmation call the day before. We have approx. $1275 of credits and can’t use them because our appointments keep getting cancelled. Now this is the cherry on top....if we cancel our membership we have 60 days to use the credits or we lose them. So in short we will lose $1275 !!! I had a massage done by Jenny and it was not worth the money. She said at the beginning of our appointment that she “was pretty set in her ways at this point in her career” which was unprofessional to say and made me feel uncomfortable, my needs were not important, it was her way only. She said she was not a deep tissue therapist and I hadn’t scheduled a deep tissue massage but the amount of pressure I received on my feet/hands was almost unrecognizable. She told me she would ask about pressure once she started, she had almost finished one leg by the time she finally asked. When she did ask I said that was good but she could go a little harder and she responded kind of harshly so I felt even more uncomfortable and that she was irritated with me. She then gave me variations of pressure on a scale from 1-5, a 8-10 is a deep tissue massage, and it averaged at a 3 most of the time. She did give me some good pressure occasionally on my thighs and back but overall the performance was far less than satisfactory. She made the appointment feel very much like “you get what I give you, deal”. I left the appointment feeling very frustrated and irritated. The rest of my family, 3 people, loved their therapists and thoroughly enjoyed their massages. The other therapists seemed to listen and were versatile. But not Jenny.

My massage therapist was decent. Quality of the massage was what I would anticipate based on the price. The customer service and organization of the front of house was horrendous. My appointment started five minutes late. I had gotten there 30 minutes early to make sure I had enough time to fill out paperwork as a new client. Despite starting six minutes late, my appointment ended two minutes early. This made my 60 minute massage a mere 53 minute massage. When I noted this to the manager on staff, she offered to add on a premium service to my next massage. Lady, you do NOT get to upsell me when you have not yet proven your base service. I told her that because I lost a little over 10% of my massage time, I expected 10% to be taken off my bill. She said she wasnt authorized to do that. I asked who was. She noted the GM could do it, but that they were in a meeting. I asked when the meeting would be over and she stated she did not know.I was considering getting a membership with the chain. By trying to upsell me instead of giving me back money comparable to the time that was lost, they lost that membership. Four dollars compared to a potential year membership. What a waste. If the manager truly wasnt able to adjust the rate, that is a massive fault with higher level management. It is your job to empower and enable your employees to do the best they can for the customer. If the manager was lying and truly was able to adjust they rate, they just chose to lose a customer rather than part with four dollars.Seriously guys, unimpressed. 2 stars is a compromise between the four star massage and the 0 star customer service.

Just moved here and decided to sign up for a membership the day before over the phone because I had heard good things about Massage Envy. I was told to arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork. I arrived 25 minutes early as I was not sure where I was going to. Jessica at the front desk helped me out and was FANTASTIC. I was informed that your massage is really only 50 minutes because there is a changing time of 5 minutes on each end. No problem I get that. My appointment was at 2pm. At 2:06 the therapist came out and said are you Debra? Yes. Oh I didnt know you had checked in. I informed him I had been there for 30 minutes. Now before you go back you fill out a sheet to PERSONALIZE YOUR MASSAGE. I love that Massage Envy takes the time to do that. The problem...the therapist does not read it. Nor did he ask me if I did or did not want certain things. I HATE HAVING MY HEAD MASSAGED. It gives me a headache. Towards the end he spent what felt like 5 minutes on my head. Really! When I left and got to the front desk it was 3pm. Hmmm maybe those 6 minutes I missed could have been used on my feet. When I asked for a 10% less charge because they took 10% of my time they tried to up sell me on a service I didnt even enjoy. They cant refund me the $9. There were 2 of us. So here is what it comes down to, ME there were going to be 3 people on this account for a monthly fee of $160 for 12 months. What the General Manager could have done is found a ME close to me, got me their best therapist, offered me a FREE 1 hour massage, and I probably would have stayed. I was eventually offered a $20 credit. I think that FREE hour massage would have been worth $1920 in a year of services. Assuming I didnt attend more than once a month. Which BTW I would have. BTW Massage Envy. I am reading other posts of unhappy clients and you say CALL US lets discuss it. You have their number, CALL THEM and discuss it. Way better customer service that way.

My husband is a Massage Envy client, so he gifted me a massage. I went in and the person at the desk kept pushing me to get a membership myself. I made it clear I wasnt interested but he still kept pushing. Finally, I went back to the waiting area. It was 25mins past my scheduled service time & no body had come to get me; I went back out to the front. The front desk staff didnt even know that the therapist wasnt in & wasnt going to be coming in at all - so no treatment for me!! Seems like a poorly run business if the front desk doesnt even know if their staff is there to preform the services. I am giving them 2 stars only because the manger help the situation be a little better. I hope next time I come in that Ill actually have a treatment done.

Horrible customer service! Save your money or go elsewhere. They nickel and dime everything. The mainline girl said Sorry you want to leave for $10 after I was upset that they wanted to charge me an unknown fee for giving a massage as A GIFT. I can afford to get massages there or else I wouldnt have signed up for your services. My advice to anyone reading this...go somewhere more professional. The staff is all young, immature, and would not even give me the correct managers information.Also... she hung up on a customer that has been paying for months. I will NEVER GO BACK and I think you should train your staff to be better employees. The massages were okay but honestly you can get great massages anywhere. Go with somewhere actually worth it.Here is an update as of 2 days later after the manager finally stepped in:Ali,I was just informed that the reservation was cancelled and filled before you could intervene (per Joanne) when my friend tried to make the appointment today. He also informed me that Joanne was deeply rude to my friend taking my place.YOU REALLY NEED TO TRAIN YOUR FRONT STAFF!!!So here is what I request to make this better:1. Refund me the $65 for the credit that I paid for. I will NEVER be returning as a customer to Massage Envy anywhere ever again. So I will not be using it.2. Cancel my membership effective immediately. I wont be paying any fees or nothing. Im done with your company.3. Train your staff on customer service since you run a business.Best.Honestly people AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

I have had nothing but great experiences with this location, but what keeps me coming is definitely my therapists. For facials, Tina is absolutely the best. She has great knowledge and her recommendations are so spot on. My skin went from dry, red, and irritated to healthy, moisturized, and calm. Such a major difference and I am spending so much less than I was before on skincare! Tina genuinely cares about her patients and is always a joy to talk to. Book with Tina, you wont regret it!Elysio is the absolute best for massages. He listens to his patients and has a great deal of knowledge to help you off the massage table as well. I love harder pressure and trigger point massage with him, I am very athletic and sessions with him keep my muscles happy and keep me from injury. I have been going to him for massages for about 4 years and refuse to see anyone else. Elysio is fantastic and will give a great massage! You wont regret booking him!

I’ve been a member for almost 5 years and my first time at the cherry creek location, I went in with a friend and “transferred a credit”. When I called to schedule the appointment I asked for the credit to be transferred, when I checked in I asked for the transfer fee to be ran thru my card was told it would be ran while we got our services, when I checked out I asked if the card was charged, was told “it was you are good to go”. when my friend and I left he commented about the price, shocked me since I “transferred a credit” and he still paid $110. I immediately called and spoke to a front desk girl and manager Offered to “void” the transaction. Though they should have been looking at the account I had to remind them my friend paid cash, we had to drive back to pick up the cash, when I walk in I am asked to sit and wait, as I’m waiting (about 10 minutes) there is another couple having issues with credits being transferred. Seems like this location does not like to transfer credits! Instead of making up for the inconvenience they still kept about $ for the additional 30 minutes of the massage.

About 1/4 of the massage therapists Ive tried here are very good. A few of them were so bad we almost asked for a refund. My favorites seem to book up a week ahead. Rooms are too cold. Overall good value if you find a good therapist and they dont resign (high turnover rate it seems). Dont expect to get 60 minutes of massage if you pay for a 60 minute. They leave no time between massages, so you get 55 minutes if youre lucky. Also Im suspicious of the massage lotion, I asked to read ingredients bc I dont like putting cancer causing chemicals on my skin and the ingredients were unpronounceable.

The therapists are outstanding, have been a client for 3 years and most times had a great experience. I recommend Ester to everyone as she is a very knowledgeable esthetician. However, 2 star because of poor customer service at front desk. I have been calling to update my appointment and left several voicemails however noone ever responds or calls me back. In addition, several instances where the line to simply check in was 6-7 persons long, however only 1 front desk person was checking everyone in while other receptionists were hanging out in the back making no effort to alleviate the situation.

Like many, my direct experiences with staff and massage therapists were generally favorable, but the communication around billing practices was intentionally misleading. Hard to tell if this is a franchise-specific issue, or a challenge with Massage Envy more broadly, but my experience at this location has soured me on considering a membership or any one-off services at any Massage Envy in the future. Too bad, since the individuals who interact day-to-day with the customers are generally great.

I really needed a massage, that day, a must! I called Massage Envy, and was booked into an appointment a few hours later. The place is easy to find, directly off of the street. There is a small private parking lot, otherwise you have to park on the street, at metered parking. The place is relaxing, which is should be, as its where you go to relax. My massage therapist was good, but she did a little too much talking. I put on my initial paperwork that I wanted someone that didnt talk too much. Oh well. The one thing that I dont like about Massage Envy, is that if you are not a member, then the price for a massage is high. They really push for you to join their membership. I dont think so. sorry. I enjoyed my massage, but the price to join their membership is a little too much, and the pressure to join, not so good either.

For the most part of my membership everything has been enjoyable and massages are great. I had a horrible experience when I was talked into getting a chemical peel on Friday by Amanda. I did as she instructed and did not wash off the peel until Saturday morning. I realized something was very wrong when I woke up with a rash and hives all over my face including my neck and ears. It was hot, puffy and extremely itchy. Communication has been extremely poor and I have not gotten the call today I was promised from the esthetician. Maybe their products were expired, maybe my skin was too sensitive for the “light peel” perhaps I am allergic to their aftercare but this is no way to leave a loyal customer with no answers and no support. I’m very disappointed.

Poor customer service.I was a member for about 2 years. I found a therapist that I liked that always did a good job and paid attention to which areas I asked her to work. However, over the course of the membership the front desk repeatedly failed at customer service. On once instance, their A/C went out in the morning and they closed early. I showed up at 7pm to find a note on the door. No call to let me know they closed and reschedule, thanks for wasting my evening. I complained and they took care of it but my night was still wasted.I also bought my girlfriend a pre-paid membership for 6 months. They never got any of her contact information on her first visit and told her not to worry about filling those parts out. Additionally, they kept my number as her contact information. I informed them several times that they had the wrong number and gave them the correct one, but they never thought to write it down or enter it. We went recently to use her last hour and it wasnt until after the massage that they informed us that her membership had expired and that she would have to pay the full cost of her 1.5 hour massage, a wopping $114. More over, the girl that helped us was already prepared when went to check out with all the information about the policy and had my girlfriends information pulled up. Why didnt they mention this to us when we showed up that the membership had expired? And, because of them not getting her contact information, she never recieved any of their calls to remind her that her membership expired and we were a mere 20 days late. To make it worse, the manager we were speaking to would not budge on doing anything to help us out or make it right, and the manager sitting next to her said she was only helping out from another location and if it was her she would fix it, but since out girl was already on the case she could do nothing... thanks. In the end, I used a guest pass to get her a discounted rate for a massage I already paid for once and then they used a 50% off coupon from a Valentines day promotion. This is after 20 minutes of talking to them and finally working with a different maganer.A third occasion, we made appointments a day ahead and when we showed up they had cancelled my girlfriends appointment. Apparently someone had cancelled and the front desk cancelled the wrong appointment. We waitied for 15 min to see what they would do. Finally, they gave my girlfriend the therapist that was supposed to work the cancelled appointment but it wasnt the person we had requested orginally. They did nothing to make up for the error they made and they wasted a bunch of our massage time. For just stopping in for a cheap first time massage this place is fine. But long term they have no respect for loyal customers or customer service. If they wanted us to return you would think they would try to make it more pleasent. My advice: If you want a cheap massage buy any of the $30 massages offered on groupon and living social everyday and dont waste your time with this over priced machine.

If you know what you need and can request it specifically, this is a good value-but not a luxury experience. Not a spa, more of a clinic-fast in, fast out. 50 minutes of actual massage is typical for an hour massage purchase, (that leaves 5 for intake and undress, 5 for you to re-dress and for them to prepare for the next client) unless they specifically state otherwise-so know what to expect and leave happy.

So I’m actually re-writing my initial review I wrote (which was also five stars, but didn’t give much detail). I had the absolute best experience last night with my therapist JJ. I did a 30 minute stretch followed by an hour massage. If you’re reading this review, I absolutely promise you that you need to get the stretch before the massage. It really makes a huge difference. I have pretty severe neck and shoulder pain and tightness and it was the best 30 minutes of self healing I could have asked for. The stretch and massage really compliment each other so well. You can loosen all the tight places up and then massage out any knots. You also start the massage so much more relaxed after focusing on your breathing and stretching for the first 30 minutes. A+++ experience and can’t wait until my next appointment!

I go to the waiting room and end up waiting 15 minutes past the scheduled time of my massage, I went out to ask if they had me down for the correct time, without even looking it up she giggled and said Yes. Hit or miss I would say. Admin staffing seems a little low...and Ive been jipped a few minutes of massage for very expensive lobby sitting over the years. Every now and then theres a diamond in the rough in terms of a therapist, and those moments for now make it worth it.

I have had five appointments at this place in total, and three of them were canceled. This organization is a mess.

Noisy back rooms - whether its construction or overhead foot traffic. Defensive mangers and lack of responsiveness when theres an issue. Their therapists are nice and qualified.

Don’t waste your time. You’ll show up and they will have “accidentally deleted” your appointment. Waste of my time. Staff is rude. Go somewhere local and don’t waste your time and money.

Some of the worst massages of my life. The room was freezing, the masseuse was very unfriendly and finally I paid for a 60 minute massage and received a 45 minute one. Bad quality and bad service. Little and not at all recommended
