First time ever to this place bd the security guy asked me to walk around because ladies were complaining of me looking too good for the standards of the place. Can you believe that? Never going to that awful place again.

I stopped by for a quick bite for their taco happy hour. Their beef tacos were delicious & the salsa went really well with them. My one Moscow mule drink was strong, but I’m NOT complaining! Wonderful service ✨

Been here a few times. It’s alright but I have witnessed a few times the male security hitting/beating the females. Why does blue ice allow their male securities to physically assault the females that go in there to dance?? Disgusting. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Absolutely disgusting. Hopefully the females I seen get physically assaulted pressed charges.

Cool spot, had fun! But the place is small and full of men not dancing surrounding the dance floor like a wall, staring at the guys who do happen to be dancing with girls. Awkward a bit, lol.

This place has racist dress code policies. I came with my best friend who was wearing a head covering and they escorted us out because of it. Don’t show up here if you have any religious or cultural head pieces.

Always have a great time here, came here again last Friday and reserved a prime table with bottle service. Place is quaint (not too big, not too small) nice Latin vibe with great music. Our host and server were awesome and attentive! Highly recommend if looking to go salsa/bachata 💃 🕺 ‼️

One of my favorite Latin nightclubs in Denver. I love the variety of music they play especially reggaeton. Always a great time, usually ends by 2am. Also, New Years DJ was amazing! Security is always kind and alert.

Update. Took my wife there to celebrate her 50th birthday. And what a great time she had. We set up the VIP area thru FB and from beginning to end she was taking care of.Music was awesome. Staff was great. And drinks were on point.Make this a spot for your birthday!!

This place is beautiful inside. Very inviting. It also lacks alot of ethnic culture to make it into the bar club it is or advertised as. So went on a Friday. The music was interesting. I loved the mix but sometimes they play like 10 plus songs in a couple of minutes making it extremely confusing. The drinks were way over priced for a bartender that didnt know how to mix it right. Both times. The security a bit handsy when doing checks. There are proper ways to put your hands when checking. Grabbing tapping on waist sides ect is inappropriate. Finally something was released in the air that we inhaled causing us to cough and ultimately leaving after only being there an hour. Actually everyone was leaving after this because we all couldnt stop coughing. paying 20 cover isnt worth it i think or there 12 dollars a drink. maybe I came on a bad night i dont know. But there are tremendous red flags. I dont know if Id ever return.

Went here a few years back because a friend said they had the best tacos in Denver.My friend brought me here after I graduated college and it turned into a vacation sharing talk, not affiliated with the place, for three hours. Turns out my friend had talked quite a few other friends into coming too, not letting them know what was going on. It was an agonizing three hours and none of us were happy. Wev didnt sign on because it wasnt a good fit for us.But yeah, those tacos were insanely delicious and I still remember them to this day!

This is actually my favorite club in denver, and I visit very frequently. Dont know why there are so many negative reviews. Security is chill. They done mess with you unless you give them a reason to (common sense!). DJ is almost always on their game. Drinks are actually pretty good. Theyre not relatively cheap, but hey, its denver, so it is what it is. The cover is never more than 25 dollars from my experience. I personally like to go Fridays, it seems as if thats when it is always good. If youre okay with a lot of people, then this place is for you. I always try to show up after 10 pm. Any earlier, itll be kind of empty. Its not a bad place at all, though. If you are Latino, this is your place to be.Keep in mind there is a dress code!Its also 21 and up!

Decided to check out the dance class they host during the week and Im so glad I did! The instructors were great and everyone was very understanding that I was new.

$60 cover charge. Bar also didnt have enough ingredients for 4 different kinds of drinks we tried to order. Dj was great, love the Latin música 👍 especially for dancing!

This a fun club and the dj is great, but they did lose a very expensive jacket of mine. I paid to leave it with coat check and at the end of the night when I went to pick it up, they didn’t have it anymore and they “accidentally” gave it away to wrong person. I don’t know how that can happen because they give you a ticket with a number that matches your jacket. When I asked for refund because I paid them for hanging my jacket, they said no. They did absolutely nothing for me and they are the ones who lost my expensive jacket. Horrible customer service.

Drinks are ok, the place is way too crowded to enjoy, its hard to dance since its so packed, and the DJ wasnt great the night we went.Lots of EDM, and Hip Hop, instead of Latin music like it was supposed to be.

Amanda was an amazing bartender. Visited this place on a Saturday evening. We were greeted with good drinks and great service. It was Latin night and it gets very crowded so get there early. A great time overall. No food though, only thing that sucks..but its still a great spot.

Super fun on Saturdays even with the covid restrictions. I would definitely go back if you want to dance me beautiful Latina women. Drinks are a little pricey but they can be strong which is good. Good time to come on a Saturday if you really want to dance.

My husband took me here as a surprise after dinner because he knew I was looking for a place to dance cumbia, bachata, salsa etc. It did not disappoint!! Everyone was dressed in their Saturday night best and dancing the night away. Our bartender was on top of it the whole night. I can’t wait to go back. It’s a place where you can be in a small or large group. Super cool vibes and a good crowd. We got there around 10 with no line but by 11:30 that place was bumpin with a line down the block.

People at the door are really rude, they don’t even let you speak, they’re racist because we don’t speak good English, and the sad thing is that this is a place with Latin music. Very disappointed!

Great more intimate spot for latin dancing (vs La Rumba for example). I havent been in a while, but I also remember their Wed night salsa class being one of the best in town - smaller classes, typically very engaged and attentive instructors, longer class time than other places but at the same price so great value (was 1.5 hours, pre-COVID at least)3/22/23 UPDATE: went back on a Wednesday for the first time in a looong time. Im pleased to say the same instructors are there, theyve just updated how they do classes. Now its an hour-long salsa lesson at 7p, followed by an hour-long Bachata lesson at 8p with open dance afterwards. I still love the atmosphere here and find people are more social/friendly than La Rumba. I will definitely be back soon!

This place is so cute and has amazing interiors, but the service and drinks are lacking. The drinks taste like artificial flavoring and/or watered down flavors, and there are no prices on the menu which is just frustrating. Our server was unclear and confusing, and the experience was just off. Has so much potential but not my fav by any means.Update: Attempted it again...they tried to charge a $15 cover charge during COVID when service isn’t even peak. What a joke of an establishment. So many other places in Denver are better.

Great salsa club! Friendly staff,main bar great &fast service...however when we went last night,the bartender in the smaller bar in the back took forever to pour drinks/beers. It took her close to 10 minutes to ask us what we liked to drink...may I suggest retraining or have 2 bartenders working the smaller bar? Had a great experience overall though, will most likely come again!

Went to Blue Ice on a Thursday night and was drawn in by the Latin vibes and ambience. We had some amazingly fresh margaritas and thought the bar tender did a wonderful job. We danced and drank and had a wonderful time. Will be back for sure!

Persian Night At Blue Ice....Persian Version is always a good time.

The atmosphere and staff was great. However, the music wasnt very up to date and transition from song to song wasnt very good. The dance floor had spills and they werent cleaned the whole night, making it dangerous to walk/dance on. The drinks were average. I have been here for performances and the crowd was much better, but on an average night, there is nothing youll be missing

Remodeled and spacious than before gets packed after 11pm so you will be waiting in line after . Great latin atmosphere. Great DJs they mixed it from bachata to cumbias to salsas to hip hop to norteñas and Jonathan is an amazing bartender always on one and paying attention to full bar from getting drinks to serving drinks . Great security. Youll have a great time here.

So much fun! Went on a Saturday at about 9:30. The place was pretty empty at first and then it got packed. The music was so good! We danced all night till they closed. Everyone was really friendly...a great vibe all around. Will go back again soon!

Went here after the Broadway Halloween parade. We had the whole place to ourselves and the staff was awesome! Found out our bartender went to school one town over from me, she was great! We had a couple of drinks and a fishbowl - had an excellent time!

My girlfriend and I stopped in there for a beer. We ended up hanging out then the party started. We ended up staying most if the evening and had a blast. Another thing awesome about Broadway.. You can just walk the bock and pop in wherever you think looks cool. No regrets!

Good place for Latin night and good dancing, I love it on Tuesdays because is not so busy but music is always good!

I have been here a few times now and really enjoy it. The people who come here arent pushy if youre not interested in dancing with them and on the flip side if you do want to dance, most everyone is welcoming. Im not skilled in this kind of dancing so its a lot of fun to be included and shown the ropes by welcoming people. I do wish they would play more reggaeton music but the atmosphere is friendly and energetic. There are lots of couples dancing and always a few groups of friends celebrating birthdays etcetera.

3 stars because the drinks are horrible. Other than that it was a really fun time. The bathrooms are very nice and the music is great. They charge $10 a drink and close to that for a shot. Super overpriced especially because there is a cover as well.

Walked in.Got charged $20 for cover, when no one else was.Instead of just giving our group the one individuals money back, the door lady just pocketed the $ and told us “I chose who gets charged.”Terrible… our plan was for our party of 7 to meet here, but we changed the game plan to spend $$$ and good times right next door.Canopy (the next door bar) was 1000 times better and gained a $250 bar tab from our group until they closed.

I have never been more disrespected ever like I have here. My friend and I felt like we were judged on because of our race. The waiter was so rude and told us we had to leave even though the owner was trying to have a decent conversation with my friend about the problem we had encountered. During this whole mess all I was waiting for was an apology from them for treating us the way we were treated. Then some of their employees laid their hands on me and started pushing me out. (Mind you they were not wearing masks) I stood there without putting my hands on them and the waiter came and took my personal things from my hand and threw them out the door. This is not the way to be treated! Ever! Yes, I was filmed by them but I hope they realize that I was not doing anything but standing there waiting for an apology and that they realize how horrible of person they were to treat customers that way.

Line was crazy but once inside the atmosphere was fun and inviting a bit crowded but I still had a blast. Really liked the music.

It was great! Ive had great service in the past, or at least I thought, until met Sage. Cant believe Ive been on south broadway but never checked this place out. Sage IDK how else to say this but if you ever want chicken nuggets late night I got you.

My wife and I had a great time dancing the night away at this cool little dance floor. We went on a Sunday night and there were other people dancing but it wasnt crowded at all. The were people of all ages getting their dance on and everyone was having a good time.

So much fun, been here a few times and have loved the music and the people in general. Salsa, Cumbia, bachata, reggaeton, hip hop, rancheras. Have always felt comfortable in Blue Ice being an LGBTQ+ couple. This has become our favorite go-to!

We used to go often on Friday night, $5 entry fee and great Salsa, Merengue, cumbia & Bachata. But last time I was there it felt like I was in a Sweet 16 celebration! Very young crow, no salsa, no cumbia, no merengue, no bachata; only reggaeton! $15 entry fee (I guess the owner is trying to recup some money lost over Covid). Overpriced drinks! Do not go there! if you are love salsa dancing, they dont play salsa! Even though is advertised as a Salsa Club.

This place is great southside Reggaeton Marangue music! Do you have to pay 20 for the coat rack and the drinks are kind of expensive but the dance floor is semi-decent.

I have been coming to blue ice for 3 years. I use to love it rather it was Friday or Saturday. Now I hate Friday DJ sucks. He plays alot of salsa and doesnt know how to mix. Saturdays DJ is good. Besides not coming on fridays again I recommend coming on Saturdays its fun and the environment is great!!!

I love this place! My boyfriend and I go here and we always have a good night. The crowed is really nice and friendly. The drinks arent a bad price either.

One of my favorite places. Loving the drinks. Music is good but I hate when the DJ only plays bachata and Cumbia. Remember that we are latinos and we like all kind of music. I said that because sometimes the mix of bachata is based on 4 or 5 songs in a row. You should mix up the music and play different genders so it is not boring. Rather than that, I like it.

We went for their Thursday salsa night, and were not disappointed. Great dance floor, great DJ and a great crowd! Be sure to try their mezcal margarita - a fresh take on an old favorite.

Amazing place that was just renovated. It looks fresh & sultry. This is an excellent place to also dance; zouk dancing Thurs, salsa & bachata some nights, ect. Youll have to call & see what organizers are currently doing at the time. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love that they offer dancing multiple nights a week. The downfalls are that the floor is small and the drink prices are high. Overall I like it though!

I am giving a one star in Customer Service to this club. We tried to go in but we had a Nalgene bottle (which is plastic everywhere and was totally empty) and they say no in the main entrance. Sounds pretty ridiculous to not be able to come in because of that. I am latin and I have to say we are known for being nice and vibrant people but it was really rude they did that to us. It just doesnt makes sense at all. I cant talk about the inside because I never come in but when it comes to the security in the main entrance and a gir that was behind the security... nooo good at all.
