I’ve seen so many amazing DJs here over the past 15 years. The rooftop parties are definitely something to experience if you have never been!3/4 floors of different music is definitely a plus when going out with a group of friends. And on the rooftop they have hooka and smoking areas.Awesome sound system to top it off 😎
This place is great if you like getting stuck listening to a weird 2+ hour set from the first opener with a bunch of 18 year olds after security theatre goes through every compartment in your wallet and you pay $15 for a well vodka soda that probably doesn’t actually have any alcohol in it. And if you love getting trapped in a venue with no reentry even for ticketed shows, it’s definitely the venue for you.Would rate zero stars if it were possible, which is too bad because they do get good acts that I’d like to see. To get me to even consider going there again, they’d need to advertise set times, hire an entirely new security staff, and go 21+.
We went to see Machine Drum with a friend, the first two bartenders we talked to gave us soda water and lime when we asked for Vodka Sodas which almost made us leave. We decided to try the other bar and Shay was amazing, he remembered our names and actually served us what we requested so if you go you better hope you get him as the bartender. $22 dollars for two well vodka sodas was a bit steep though, especially the first time we got them. Great experience overall, but I still left the club feeling cheated.
Clean club, greats music, solid atmosphere. But the reason i go out of my way to leave a review are the bartenders on the 1st floor. They have outstanding attitudes and great work ethics. The tender Chadwick is on top of all orders i haven’t seen a guy like him run the bar like that ever. Thank you vinyl
Went out with a couple of friends and one of them had their phone stolen from their purse. We found out that we were not the only ones with around 14 other phones stolen. We talked to security and while some of them were nice and tried to be helpful, they told us there wasn’t anything they could really do and told us we could wait till the club closed or call in the next morning but never allowed us to go through lost and found. We had them search a few guys who had been all up on us but found nothing so they were allowed back in. They then asked us to leave the hallway and before we could get the chance they kicked us out for being upset that they were not doing much and commenting on it.
Cool place if you want to wait in line for HOURS!! The Cure showed up one night & were totally cool with anyone who was around I heard. Definitely worth a try if you don’t mind TONS of people!
Club Vinyl offers a vibrant nightlife experience that is sure to impress. Spread over four floors, each with its own unique vibe and musical style, this club provides a variety of atmospheres to suit different tastes. The sound system is absolutely top-notch, making it a haven for audiophiles. The rooftop area is a particular highlight, offering stunning views of the city—perfect for a more relaxed evening. While the drinks can be on the pricier side and the wait times a bit long during peak hours, the overall experience at Club Vinyl is definitely worth a visit for those looking to dance the night away in a dynamic setting.
I went to Vinyl for the first time a few weeks ago and had a blast! The bartender Chadwick was great! Super kind, and was pretty quick with our drinks. Definitely will be back!
I hated the experience here, just everything about this club is horrendous, from the bartenders to the bouncers just horrible, some short obese guy almost didn’t let me in and gave me a hard time. the drinks aren’t even worth the price. don’t waste your time or money here i wish i would have listened to the reviews since there’s already complaints about the same things.
Percy and Marquis are awesome. They helped me when I was having a few issues. I honestly appreciate them for creating a safe and chill environment
Went here a couple months back and they need better security guards my friends and I were accused of having alcoholic drinks and had 4 people surround us saying we were lying and that’s we were drinking underage and even after the manger came and spoke with us and got it figured out and knew we weren’t drinking thier was just a cup mix up but they we’re still convinced we were getting alcohol and tried to keep my id and my cousins as well and after everything they were just watching us the whole time so we left earlier than expected and we didn’t even get to have a good first time being out so thanks to those security guards that’s ruined our first club night I paid over 100 dollars to only be thier for a hour I was extremely upset
Went to vinyl for the first time thinking i was gona have good time but unfortunately had a terrible experience. as soon as walked up to the line they started speaking spanish about us thinking we couldn’t understand them ? it’s like as soon as they saw us they immediately decided they didn’t want to let us in. they kept questioning us about our ids even though they are 100% legit, and claimed we were not the person on the id. we decided to go to a different line and they were about to let us in until the short chunky guy with a red hat came up to us and said he was about to let us in but that WE were being rude ?!!! i told him well good thing they are about to let us in and he was like nope your not just because i said. we ended up going to temple and had an amazing time there and were actually treated with respect. it’s crazy how it really be your own people treat you so horribly. they seriously need some new security there i will never go there again and make sure to tell everyone to not go there !!!
This is the best club in the city right now!THe roof top patio is the best place to watch the sunset over the mile high city. I have been coming here for years but I have to say if you haven’t been in the past year or 2 you haven’t really seen this club. The cleanliness and attention to detail are really unmatched in the area. You can also tell it’s a good place to work because the staff is always happy, and are looking to take good care of their guests.More importantly to me the caliber of musicians this club brings in is always top notch. And because the staff treats them so warmly they always bring their best to their rooftop sets. This is how they were able to bring a giant name like griz onto the bill for one of their socially distant well spaced gatherings of only 50 people.
Spend 30 dollars to sit. The venue is dope and the the vibes are great but the music was absolute trashhh. It felt like a bad highschool prom. Not a single good song from any of the djs all night.
Great vibe! Chad, the bartender, was so nice and attentive! Would recommend for a great night out in Denver!(:
There is no food, but there is lots of dancing and great music! Even if you dont like whats happening on one floor, you can switch to different floors for different types of music. Really fun!
The problem started at the door when the bouncer held onto mine and my boyfriend’s ID because we were from out of state. We both tried to explain we were visiting Colorado but he ignored me and insisted on only speaking to my boyfriend. Even tho our IDs were clearly real he threatened us with calling the police because we were beginning to get frustrated with his attitude towards us that he had before the conversation even started after about 10 minutes of back and forth he finally showed someone else who knew how to do his job and could tell it was real. He then let us in with no apology for how we were treated. on top of that once we were finally let in we were not aloud to go to the bottom floor as they had decided to close it with no explanation. The second floor had the best music in my opinion but ofc the alcohol was highly over priced like over 10 dollars for one shot. Drinking at home next time.
Atmosphere was great but get bouncers who know how to do their jobs. As a bouncer you should be able to tell a real ID from a fake and it should not take someone else to do your job. I really wish I got this bouncers name. I really should have called the cops on him for racial profiling and taking my very real ID he’s just lucky he didnt try to cut it. He was mad disrespectful and overall rude talking over me putting words in my mouth not letting my boyfriend speak trying to get me to slip up on my info and getting even more disrespectful when I didn’t bc my info is real. It took another bouncer to tell him they were real and we recieved no apology for how we were treated. Luckily I didn’t let him ruin our night. Drinks are MAD overpriced but delicious def recommend a tequila sunrise if you’re willing to pay that much and they expect you to magically know the prices too so good luck. If you’re 21+ do yourself a favor go to 21+ only clubs. Let the college kids have this. Overall get bouncers who are qualified. Do better.
The rooftop looks really bad. Chipped tables that look from Facebook marketplace. Not the kind of vibe you want on a sunny day. All the furniture looks rusty. Bad design. You would think they would have enough money to buy real furniture.
$25 cover in a saturday and one of the bartenders gave me attitude when i asked for a beer menu, the second floor had no dj so the music would transition after each verse with terrible transitions. not much has changed since i came a few years before this
I ran into the GM on Saturday night, and he was so helpful and kind. It was a wonderful atmosphere, we all had a lovely night.
LOVE CLUB VINYL!!! Legacy Security guards always make me feel safe. Always professional, very polite and courteous!! I know they always have my back if there is unwanted attention. Vinyl is fun, 3 different floors of music (4 if you count the basement). Drinks are always made right. Bartenders are friendly and the bottle service girls are 🔥!! Love the place!! It’s a must for me when I want to have a fun night out!! GO SEE THE PEOPLE AT VINYL 💕💗
Insane cover fee, smells like vomit everywhere always, volume control is so bad its hurts(I go to raves and know what is loud vs bad noise) dont go here or let denver bars trick you
Club vinyl is our spot every weekend! Djrabbitfoot makes it 10x better! He knows how to keep the energy positive and plays music everyone enjoys!
The people that go here look like they’re 15 and guys totally predatory looking. Not a grown or sexy club to go to. The vibe was so off, I’m never going back here again.
This place sucks !!! the owners need to do something about their bouncers and security, they are so quick to racially profile, they really need to find some bouncers that can actually tell the difference between a real id and a fake, they are a JOKE.
I love going to club vinyl anytime I have friends in town. The multiple levels with different music is so cool especially at night. Time being up on the roof. The bartenders are always very friendly and the security staff is always amazing anytime there’s been a problem legacy security security issue right away. Overall vinyl is one of the safest and most fun clubs in Denver! And they always have bomb food trucks outside
Went here for a night out with my girls, it was a fun atmosphere with great music. All the staff was super friendly. I was very impressed with how professional the security guards were. They did a great job at making us feel safe. I would definitely come here again!!
Took a group of friends from out of town to Club Vinyl and it was Dope AF. Great view from the rooftop deck! Great sound system. Multiple floors. The security was better than any club Ive been to. They are on point and cordial and dont let the 18 year olds get out of pocket. Very professional. I would hire them for my own personal events. Theyre not playing around. The basement is like a whole VIP section. Great bartenders. Fast!
This bar is 18+. and it really feels like it inside. there are a few floors and two were both pretty packed on a saturday but the crowd felt young almost like high school. wont be going back. security pats you down before entering which is fine by me. wasn’t violated or anything. paid to enter. can’t remember how much. music wasn’t memorable. soulja boy up top.
Awful. First of all didn’t let me in being 21+ due to my Iowa ID, then made me pay $30 just to enter and not be able to get a single drink. My friend who was allowed to purchase bought the worst vodka pineapple of her life at $12. Insane prices! Then, no one was even in the club! Music was awful. Just the worst experience ever, find another club
This place deserves no stars. The people at doors are rude and disrespectful. Especially the bigger guy. This place needs better people.
I really had a bad experience here last night and it was my second time going. I understand it is crowded and loud, but this gives no reason to rude service. My friends and I were at the top level trying to order another drink (yes we were of age and had our IDs checked and had wristbands) the man who was running the side bar by himself was very rude to my boyfriend when trying to order another drink. He told my boyfriend to shut the **** up or leave when my boyfriend was trying to tell the man his drink order. My boyfriend was not doing anything wrong and he was been very respectful towards the man. I then noticed he did not put any Alcohol in my drink and when I asked him about it he waved me off took my card in my hand and ran the card. I paid $14 for just a Redbull. Unbelievable!! Needless to say we did not stay much longer after that and will not be going back to this club when needing a fun night out.
Got my balls felt up from security, drinks are outrageously expensive and weak, and the staff is rude af. No wonder its been over 7 years Ive been here. Wont be back
(Base)ment, (based)ment, THE basement. Heavy n dark!!!!! Edit: they since have moved base opps upstairs. It’s still a lot of fun but not as much fun as the BASEment. BRING IT BACK TO THE BASEMENT, MAKE IT THE SWEATBOX IT WAS. OG RAVERS MISS IT!!!
My man hugo & the manager of vinyl were super friendly and helped me retrieve a lost card. thanks for looking out fam.
My daughter was assaulted here and had to have her ear stitches back up and had her phone stolen . This was my daughters first time at a night club . The best the GM could do is offer her a free entry ! You’ve got to be kidding ! She will never step foot back In that place . You have absolutely let this place go to s..t!As someone who has been in the house community for years I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of accountability from this manager . I guess there is a reason that true ravers ans plur people have stopped going there .Shame on you ! We will be filing g a police report . You have cameras you could have offered to help a little more than what you did .
The Vinyl Nightclub offers a lively atmosphere and a diverse selection of music, making it potentially appealing to those seeking a vibrant nightlife experience. However, the nightclub falls short in several key areas, including overpriced drinks, overcrowding, safety concerns, and inadequate security measures. It is recommended that the management takes immediate action to address these issues, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable experience for its patrons. Until these concerns are adequately addressed, visitors should approach The Vinyl Nightclub with caution and consider alternative venues with better reputations for customer safety and satisfaction.
I just moved to capital hill and I was super excited to get out and experience the night life two blocks from me.. I had some family in town from out of state and we were so excited to see the neighborhood. We decided to go to club vinyl.. let me just say I’ve never felt so safe and taken care of.. the staff and security were absolutely on top of their A game. With all the craziness in the world today it felt so good to be taken so care of . I highly suggest this venue. I will absolutely be back..
Terrible. I hate it here. My friends and I got kicked out for my friend “sipping my drink” when she didn’t. They refused to check security tapes to confirm, and they threw us out with no conversation whatsoever. My friend objectively did not sip out of my drink and they were unwilling to check the security footage to confirm that she did not. These people have nothing better to do than get aggressive with people, save your money and go literally anywhere else. Unfriendly and aggressive for no reason. This was my 21st birthday and I will not come back ever. These people need to be more friendly and approach disagreements with respect and willingness to cooperate. We asked them to check footage to confirm my friend did not drink my alcoholic beverage and they were unwilling but work with us. Very disappointing.
The security is the best people. We love coming here. We were celebrating a night out and some guys were bothering us. Security was so vigilant and made sure the girls were good all night.
Very sketchy, workers were very disrespectful and not a fun environment at all. Would never recommend, staff yelled at everyone there and tried to kick out people who were obviously let in legally, I got scammed 60$ to get kicked out right away because I went to the bathroom with my friend. Genuinely unbelievable, I was in the bathroom stall and the workers banged on the stall door and said that they would kick me out if I didn’t open the door right away even though I was using the bathroom.
I was here Saturday night. I guess I got a little too wasted but I had lost my friends. Busy night. While running around looking for everyone, I was randomly picked up and literally thrown out by 3 male security guards. I had no phone, nothing! I was beyond my limit which was definitely my fault. Not causing any trouble just some stumbling. Trying to go home. But they told me to kick rocks. My friends couldn’t find me because I was out back while the security laughed at me and mocked me… Knowing I am female and too drunk to be downtown alone, I am surprised they wouldn’t allow me to use a phone or stay in the area to wait for my friends. Surprised I didn’t get kidnapped. Unfortunately I blacked out and was found passed out at a gas station across the street at 2am. Never happened before. Not one phone in sight.Wouldn’t tell me why they threw me out.. very confusing, yet I allowed myself to get to a dangerous point. It happens to all of us. Something terrible could’ve happened and I wish there was a better system at clubs for women when situations like that happen. Drunk, alone, and kicked downtown Denver. Wish they handled it differently. Otherwise it was a decent club. Just saying if you get a little to drunk you’ll be thrown out the back where you’ll need to figure out a way to find home. They didn’t even try to help me find the people who I came with. Extremely dangerous and scary situation.
A big fan of bass ops and went out to see them move from the basement to the main floor was alot more spacious and the bartenders were great
This was easily one of the worst bars I’ve ever been to. Starting off the night, the bouncers and security were very rude. Made my friend throw out her vape before coming into the bar, only to find out they sell hookah? We then had to pay $25 to get in. This was way overpriced for this bar. It was rundown, unsanitary and one of the trashiest bars I’ve ever been to. Drinks were overpriced as well. We didn’t realize this club was 18+. Reminds me of a middle school homecoming. Do not recommend this bar to anyone.
I’ve only been here 3 times.. and all 3 times there were staff members being aggressive and very rude. I’ve actually been really hurt by a bouncer just trying to grab my stuff so I don’t feel safe going hereReally sketchy environment. Seems like it’s filled with girls/guys under 21 and weirdos over 21 buying them drinks… only the universe knows their intentions but we can all assume.(Girls be careful don’t get roofied)
This place is great! Love going to Qoncert events there and their rooftop
Used to be a good place to dance and have a great night out. After tonight I will not be coming back. While being patted down by a female security person she partially ripped off my diabetic device which cost over $100. All I got in return was a Sorry. Sorry isn’t going to replace my medical device that was partially torn off. I had to take it off and replace it because she pulled enough that it was pulled from my body enough that it caused my device to malfunction. Highly doubt vinyls going to pay to replace my life saving medical device for my type one diabetes. It also hurt a lot to have her pull it out of my body. Very unprofessional. If you feel something under somebody’s clothing, it doesn’t mean repeatedly pull it.
I went here last night and I was excited to get the hookah and when I tried it, it tasted really odd and so I asked for a different flavor and when me and my wife went to ask for a different flavor the guy was mad at someone he was talking to on his phone and I felt very uncomfortable he was really mad and it made me feel uncomfortable and when he changed it , it still tasted odd and after a little bit a security guard came and told us he spiked the hookahs with weed which made me very upset because that’s not okay! We were given no warning…. And it made me feel very bad I never gave consent and wasted money …. This place is usually really good but last night was just not okay ….
All of their security is rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Got kicked out for “handing a drink to a minor” but when I asked “head of security” for proof he said he doesn’t wanna hear it. Had an 18 y/o girl say she payed a bouncer at the door $20 and he let her get a wrist band for 21+. Don’t waste your time and money here.
Club Vinyl staff are some of the unfriendliest bar staff I’ve ever had the misfortune of coming across. The bouncers at the door are rude and will take cartridges off of customers for their own safekeeping (putting it on the ground next to his own feet). The clientele is downright trashy, music is not good, and the facilities are just as subpar. No matter the cost of cover, your hard earned money is better spent at any other bar/nightclub in a 7 block radius. I’ve been to this club on three separate occasions and can confidently say that my experiences at Club Vinyl pale in comparison to the experience that their competitors provide each time I go. Many other clubgoers could offer the same review that I’ve given this place. Safe to I won’t be visiting this club anymore in order to offer my patronage to more enjoyable, cleaner, friendlier, and higher quality clubs in the Denver area.
I love it here. They always treat me well and security does a good job of keeping people safe. People are crazy these days, I love having a place to go dance and feel safe!
Great place to party. We got lit!! Awesome staff too, my friend lost their phone but everyone was very helpful at helping find it so we could Uber home. Ill definitely be coming back again.
Great atmosphere. Great music. && great people. I met some very kind and genuine souls here - which I am very thankful for. Also, great drinks! My favorite and go to drink when I do go out is a margarita and one of the bartenders there (Chadwick) makes BOMB margaritas. Like… the best I’ve ever had in a club setting. So if you’re into quality… I would def go to him. I hope you check this place out - it’s poppin’ - you’ll def have fun!!!
Worked with Adrienne Hollie to propose a corporate special event for 1,200. Adrienne is so professional, creative and helpful in showing how well Club Vinyl can be used to provide networking, sponsorship opportunities and just plain fun for our group coming back together after 3 years of a COVID break. Thanks, Adrienne! Looking forward to working together.
DONT COME HERE! my friend got kicked out before she even got in… she had pepper spray and was willfully throwing it away. when asking to come back in line by saying “could i get back in line” the secruity guard said he “didn’t like her attitude” and that she had to leave. litterally such a terrible experience, and we were trying to be as nice as possible and no one seemed to care. 60 dollars down the drain…
We left after a couple hours because the inside was pretty empty, but when we left there was an absurdly long line out the door - not sure why they couldn’t just get one more of the many other bouncers to check ID’s faster so the club could actually get busy by 11:30. Also, the cover charge for two people was $50, and the drinks were overpriced. The photo booth on the second floor was a complete joke, and we saw the first floor ceiling bouncing from people dancing which didn’t look very safe. Overall it was a lackluster experience.
Security was really unprofessional! The lady took my friends vape cartridge as we saw her pocket it but then didn’t give it back to our friend as we decided not to go inside but then insisted she threw it away but we clearly saw her pocket it . Plus the staff is very rude and very biased. Wouldn’t recommend ever . Take your money and time somewhere else .
The service was great all the time . I always have VIP tables and I love their security guy’s Legacy team They’re amazing. A place to go and feel safe 💯 recommending
Door people are extremely rude tasteless and trashy. They charge you without saying what’s for. Management resolves nothing. What kind of place treats customers badly. I thought a business is supposed to provide decent service. Trash don’t go here.
The drinks over priced, they let the top floor get too crowded, they dont do the little things to clean it, the dj plays only a small part of the song and moves on to another random one instead of havin the music flow to the next. The lightin is random and dont mix well with the settin. 3 floors but they cant even keep it from getting over crowded.
Vinyl was an amazing experience! i felt very safe and comfortable while being able to have fun in the club. great music and would definitely go again!
I hosted my sisters 21st birthday party last weekend (1/23/16) and it was phenomenal! I had stressed so bad for about a month about my guest list and how renting the room worked. I was terrified I wasnt going to have the money to pay for the room at the end of the night. Gary assured me everything was going to be fine. He was super flexible and understanding that he came up with other options to help during the evening. He communicated with me all night about where my costs were and what needed to happen. My baby sister had the best night! The staff was incredible. From Alex to Morgan our bartender and even the outside bouncers treating us with so much genuine friendliness. I had only been to Club Vinyl once and hadnt had the best experience at no fault of the Clubs but Im glad we came back. I will always recommend their VIP room as a venue. This was a blast!!! Thank you Club Vinyl staff!!
Allen is amazing!! he’s so sweet and always makes me feel safe and comfortable when i go out with my friends! he makes going to the club such a better experience
Security is on a power trip. Under 21 came here with a few friends and when we were towards the front of the line the people in front of us take a shooter and drop the bottle. Security walks over to me and asks to see my ID then tells me he saw what I did and tells us to leave. Genuinely confused I ask him why and he walks away with no response. Go to The Church much better location/staff.
Looking for the best choice of music and beats, friendly bartenders, and the best alcohol in town? This place is the name! We always spend our quality time here and never a dull moment. Were having so much fun and booze. We were here last week as my friend proposes to her girlfriend. This place was amazing!
Club Vinyl is always my go to spot and djrabbitfoot on the third floor knows how to please the crowd
Vinyl was so awesome, the drinks were great and the security was outstanding. My gf lost her phone with her ID and they found it with in a few minutes. THANK YOU vinyl Staff.
My absolute favorite denver club, always the best time! The bartender there nate absolutely makes the best drinks and is such good vibes!!! A 10/10 club recommendation. I’m
I really like this spot! Unfortunately i lost my wallet here a week ago. I filled out the lost and found form on the website and included details, but I havent heard anything back on if my wallet is there or not! Im heading in tonight so heres hoping, will update my rating as necessary.Edit: I emailed and got a response back super fast! Thanks so much for the help!! Ive been mega stressing over this and Im so glad to hear back!
Went there 2 separate nights.Wednesday night was solely a lower dance floor with an EDM DJ. Was okay, primarily young bucks (18 +). They did have a bar for 21 and over. (FYI, you cant double fist drinks or youll get the boot).Went there Saturday night. Upper floors were open. 3 different floors with different music each floor. 1st floor was another DJ that night. Second floor was top 40. Rooftop was hip hop.I would definitely go there again but on a Saturday night and head straight to the rooftop. It was such a beautiful view of the city lights.
Was visiting Denver for the weekend and was really hyped to go here, after waiting in line for about 20 minutes, I was with two other girlfriends & the first bouncer thoroughly checked all of our IDs and my other 2 friends are only 18 and I turn 21 in a couple months, somehow the bouncer marked both of them as 21 & charged them $10 each and then gave me Xs and I had to pay $40. All the bouncers were extremely rude the entire night and the music was awful and everything was sticky and musty. If anyone is looking for a good club, go to the Church! 10x better if you ask me.
Amazing club very big with differents vibes (house music hip hop reggae ton..) The rooftop is very cosy and chill ! We met Taylor one of the staff very friendly welcoming as all the other staff, every single person working there was amazing ! It was a first time clubbing in Denver because we are travelling around USA and we had a such a good time ! Thank you guys for this night 🔥🥰
Its generally a fun spot to hit up; the multiple levels add an essential ambiance to the place, as being able to move from one crowd/genre of music to another is a major plus. Personally, I love when the basement features some of the local production crews and the artists they bring-- ideally, theyd open it to the rest of the club to better facilitate the ability to move around, as mentioned (though I completely understand why they do not, on some occasions- all good). Nonetheless, every time Ive been here, Ive had a good time, and theres something to be said for that. As far as the crowd goes-- it varies from night to night, which isnt unlike almost any venue with a range of artists/music. Still, its rather diverse and the vibe is generally solid. Yeah, drinks can be pricey (a double eats up a $20 bill), as can be the cover charge. Even still, who ever said going out was inexpensive? As far as security goes-- yep, they can be a bit overzealous at times; outright asinine at other times. For the most part, though, unless youre up to no good, everything should be fine...I definitely like the spot and dont foresee any reason I wouldnt go back. Enjoy!
I was here on a Friday and got robbed by the bartenders. I bought two cocktails for 12 dollars, and when I got home, I found that it was taken $20 and $27 from my card. Who will refund me?This robbery should be punished!
They charge kids $30 to get into a teen clubs then the security thinks they can put their hands on people this club sucks so unprofessional in so many ways this is how they treat 18 year olds they charge $30 don’t even serve drinks huge rip off do not go there
This is a good place to come when you just turn 18, or 21 and crave all the attention in the world. Last night, I was groped in an unwanted way by another patron right in front of a bouncer, and I realize this is a night club. I know the difference, as I have been to plenty of other places where people treat others with respect, and if there is ever a question about that, staff is there to assist you, because the staff treats you with respect, too, regardless of how a paying customer is acting because they are legally intoxicated. However, after calling that man out, and asking the bouncer if he saw it, he said no, and that was unacceptable when I was speaking to him the whole time the man was touching me. It all happened very fast, but to not even offer to stop the man or assist me in calling the police...? The entire staff treated me very badly, as if I had no reason to be upset, and one bouncer actually encouraged my husband to divorce me. I was told I would have to wait 30 to 45 minutes for a manager (ridiculous in any industry), and they staff treated me and my husband like we were liars and less than human. I was here for my birthday, (I dont even live in Denver), and this rubbed me the wrong way, so to speak. I used to love this place, and to treat your paying and returning customers as if they dont do anything for you, as if they arent the reason you are in business in the first place? Thats a mistake. Further, I have seen staff members in the bathroom look under the stalls. Thats not cool! Thats an invasion of privacy. Anyways, most people who come here are military from Colorado Springs and barely of age girls so if thats your scene, this is the place for you, because they just seem to let whatever go on. Also, a drunk driver hit our car and broke the headlight and literally drove away before we even entered this club. Happened in the parking lot directly in the back of this club. No, they are not responsible for that, just an indication of what goes on.
Thursday night for Hayden James the bartender in the back working alone was beyond awful. No sense of urgency, no regard for who got there first. Waited almost 45 minutes for a drink and just ended up leaving. First time here and I don’t think I wanna come back. At least the crowd was decent people. Club smelled like vomit in several places.
This club had the absolute worst bartender I’ve ever seen in my entire life. It was a busy thursday night, he was manning a 1 person bar in the back and had no sense of urgency, and no respect to prioritize who got to the bar first. I stood there for a solid 30 mins and didn’t get served, and watched this guy serve others who had just walked up. He deliberately ignored me. It ruined the entire night. I ended up leaving and will NOT ever be returning to this club. I have no idea how this guy got a bartending job there.
Very disorganized! For New Year’s Eve we had purchased 2 months prior to see J. Worra, we get there and they have ticket holders and non-ticket holders in the same line for an almost sold out event! We waiting in the cold for an hour and a half and never got in… so we left since it was already 12:30am. People plan their NYE in advanced. We could have gone to so many other places than to stand in the cold and to never see j Worra. Honestly, waste of money and the principle of it is that Vinyl should honestly refund the tickets since we never got to use it.
Bars were great, super accessible and multiple floors (3) to choose from. decently priced drinks also. Terrible security service. Even after speaking with the Manager of the security team, they were not willing to help at all. Definitely look out for yourself at Club Vinyl because the frequent customers are most likely friends with the bouncers. Not the best crowd either. 1 star for awful customer service, aside from bartenders but IMO they are rated on a person to person basis anyway.
I usually enjoy Vinyl, but I noticed last time I went, I got a couple beers and tipped cash, however on my bank statement a few days after, I saw the bartenders added their own tip. Definitely not ok with that kind of practice
Security wants to think they can throw everyone around hit my girl with her not doing anything besides talking stuff to them because how they were acting. If they think it’s ok to fight anyone there they can come to my mma ring and step in there with me one on one because they needed 7 of them to take me down because they think it’s ok to hit my lady they know my name now and I’m making sure this club goes Viral I have everything on video including me fighting there biggest security guard if they would have kept there hands to them self they would have never had any problems they also didn’t know tss guard being a security is a big Responsibility if they can’t De escalate without force they don’t need to be guards period. If you’re seeing this owner it’s time to find new guards
This venue is definitely not handicap accessible. And forget about being able to contact anyone with the venue if you have questions about accessibility. First off, if you are in a wheelchair and are going to a show on the rooftop, just forget it. They don’t have an elevator. I found myself trying to hop up 3 flights of stairs, plus going up and down to the second floor to use the bathroom. There was another person there as well in the same position as me, trying to navigate the stairs when they came in a wheelchair. Their google says accessible and it’s just not true. Least accommodating venue I’ve been to in Denver.
Saturday night one of the security guys groped me as I was walking by and then snuck away as soon as I saw who it was. Security is supposed to be there to make us feel safer, not harass and assault the female guests? Disgusting tbh
WORST BAR EVER. Women security with braids and a missing front tooth pocketed my vape cart and not even 20 seconds after i decided not to go into the club insisted she threw it away when she pocketed Infront of me. WORST CLUB EVER.
Security is definitely on a power trip here. This man took my ID accusing it was fake and I was accused of giving a shot to a minor. “Head of security” said he needed to see my id and when asked why the man said “I saw what you did” and kicked me and my friends out and took my id. This club is TRASH 18+ Clubs are not it
Its sad that this happened because I otherwise would have had a good night with my friends. However my friend and I were sitting on the roof minding our business when a security guard approached us very aggressively and accused us of trying to get drinks when we were never anhwhere near the bar area. Then later on at closing time, we were approached AGAIN not only by the security guard who yelled at us the first time, but also by the head of security who threatened to ban us from the club if we got kicked out and tried to come back, even though we never got kicked out in the first place?? It just felt like the security was in a power trip and looking for someone to take it out on. Really ruined the night.
Worst club in the city by far pretty sure I saw one of the security guards slip a small bag to a person or friend in the crowd?! No one enforcing mask regulations, I left from being grossly uncomfortable after paying for what I thought would be a good night. I can see why the club is struggling, hopefully next year theyll correct whatever the h*ll is going on or have a new club!!This isnt the first time Ive come here an been disappointed
There was a fat guy there with a bag that goes over his chest looked mexican and he seemed like a regular and all the staff was telling him wassup he tried to spike my drink and my bd almost beat him up so we left havent been back since
I had a truly amazing weekend there. Security made sure that I was safe and comfortable. They even walked me to my Uber. Thank you Vinyl
Showed up Saturday night to see a specific DJ preform with a friend. We had never been there before and when we arrived there were 2 lines on either side of the building. No signs to tell us where he was preforming, none of the security folks or people at the door knew either. They all failed to mention that there was one price for levels 1-3, and a separate price for the basement. So we each spent $20 to get in and after talking to many people inside, they did not know where he was preforming either but one person advised us to check out the basement. We had bands on already so they advised us to go outside and get in the other line specifically for the basement. We get up to the door and they tell us is it $20 to get in. I explained we already paid and they tell me that we paid for levels 1-3 and that the basement is a separate cost even though a part of the same club. I explained we had only been there for 5 minutes, no one knew where to direct us or where the DJ was preforming, that no signs were up, etc. and asked if there was any way that we could transfer what we had JUST paid for as we were not needing to use floors 1-3. They said there were no refunds or transfers of any kind. So I ended up having to pay an additional $20 for myself, AND, an additional $20 for my friend as he only brought $20 cash. So a total of $80 between my friend and I and we finally got to the right place. The people working here have no idea what is going on or where anything is and no sympathy or understanding for errors made due to their lack of knowledge of their own club. It would be great if there was some small level of organization so as to know where you should head if going to see a specific artist. Needless to say I will not be returning and will encourage others to not go as well.
Worst experience of my life, after being there for 5 minutes top, head of security asked for my “real ID” even though I only have my 18 y/o ID. The security did a sobriety test on me and was completely sober, security then told me to go home even though I was in for 5 minutes and was completely sober. I payed $20 for nothing. I will never be returning to this club ever, never been so disrespected in my life.
The security elbowed me in the face on the way out. Terrible dj. I starter galling asleep while sober because of how terrible the show was and the security asked if I was on drugs because I couldnt stay awake for the Terrible 4/4 beat that went on for 6hours
Had a very good night. Majority of bartenders were cool. The rooftop bartender on the south was a major buzz kill. Denied us service and was extremely rude when we asked where to purchase hookah, didnt have that problem with anyone else. Defintely not the type of bartender Id want at a club. Everything was great otherwise!
Manager in the basement was awful. So disrespectful and doesn’t know how to do his job. Always checking on people doing nothing wrong. Security is a nuisance. Literally go to anywhere else
I have been to Club Vinyl and its an okay club. I was at Kikes Taco Truck today and the guy in front of me would not fail to mention that hes the GM of Club Vinyl and manages 4 clubs yet... funnily enough did not bother to tip and after he was done with bragging to the truck owner/worker he went on his phone when asked to select a tip option and walked away without selecting anything. Sounds like a great guy.
This place is so awful. The worst service I’ve seen in Denver so far
They pour a strong drink and thats always appreciated. I was little disappointed when I went to see Toro y Moi play a DJ set, supposedly at 8, and then he never actually came on.Other than that its a pretty standard place with a number of floors, smoking areas, and even some fire pits. Id happily go again.
I have Never been treated so badly at a night club, especially on pride weekend !! After I payed 20 dollars to get in and checked in Two bags ! While dancing with my friends and a black male about 3 securities came up to us and asked for my and his ID ! I asked why ?? And they refused to say why ?? I’m 25 and had a wristband so did he !! I told them My ID was downstairs at the bag check in and they told me to leave !! The whole time I wanted an Explanation and No One would give one to me .Bunch of Homophobes and racist Staff !! I will Never come back again and will speak ill of this place . If you want to have fun without being bothered The Church Night Club is right next door. !
After paying a $20 cover to get in, I cant say I was impressed. The venue was nice with a great atmosphere but the DJs on every floor were only mediocre, if that. 1 good song followed by multiple bad ones. The DJ was not feeling the room, and would drag out songs for way longer than they shouldve been played. Cocktails cost $10
Beautiful bar tenders and great drinks
Thank you for an amazing night and letting me be myself. I called ahead to ask if you allowed gloves and you said you did
I was happy to come and bring a new soldier there. Daniel handled a situation outside the club that could of escalated and was alone for the beginning but as a soldier seeing a man doing his job with unruly patrons drinking in public that tried to assault him I couldnt let him do it alone. He handled it well throwing no punches but subduing the patron once the said patron laid hands on him he had then de escalated the situation and handled himself like a good keeper of the peace for those of us that wanted a good time. I feel safe with staff like him.
They kicked a girl I drove there out due to underage drinking and threatened me as if I was thw one buying drinks
Security is super professional & i always have fun & feel safe! it’s so nice to feel like i will be protected when i go out!
The different rooms are cool, the music was nice, but somebody stole my cell phone. When I spoke to management & security, nobody seemed surprised and they were all fairly certain I wasnt getting it back. I left two voicemails over the course of a week, just to ask someone to let me know if nobody turned it in. Of course nobody returned my calls. So enjoy yourself, but definitely watch your back.
Chadwick and Tyler are the best bartenders I have ever had. They always give the best hospitality even when they’re slammed. They appreciate all conversations and act like everyone is the best. Ask for them.
Me and my boyfriend came about a month ago. As soon as we walk in we got a red bull to share. The bartender poured it in a cup with ice for us and two shares. We then went up to the second floor. As soon as we got the wall to stand and talk the bouncer came over to me harassing me about my xs on my hand. He said they were faded and I needed to go back downstairs and get them redone. We went downstairs, the doorman thought it was ridiculous but did went ahead and did it. We went back upstairs where we were and the same bouncer came back over to us! I told him why are you bothering us, I did what you told me. He said Im just doing my job, you have a drink in your hand. We hadnt even been there for more than 20 minutes and I had been harassed twice by the same bouncer. I was tired of it. I went downstairs, asked for a manager, and told her the issue. She said she knew who the guy was and said theyve already had a problem with him. They gave me and my boyfriend back and we left and went to another club. Service upfront was great, but the security inside is very rude. I recommend 21+, but for 18-20, beware.
There was a lady who work for security that was really disrespectful to me and my friend for asking her to say excuse me she got up in my friends face and and call her a b1tch and you can tell she was off something. She then came back around and pushed my friend again very disappointed that you have a worker like this.
Saw Tokimonsta here and had a wonderful time. I had heard from a friend that there had been problems with guys drugging drinks in the past, and noted that they had upped the ante on security significantly. It was comforting seeing guards checking drinks with flashlights that were left alone and having female guards in the womens room. Of course, there are some trade-offs with comfort with increased security presence, but it is ultimately for the best.Drinks were very well priced and served quickly despite a packed venue. Acoustics/etc were good, although the bass was a bit loud. Its definitely an upscale venue and Ill likely attend another show there.
Great place, drinks were awesome and the environment was super dope. Great place for young people like myself to have a good time with friends
This club was amazing and super fun, drinks are pricey but it’s a club... however I am from California and the security harassed me for my ID accusing me that I have a fake when it’s 100% real. They just don’t know how to distinct their IDs cause they differ from Colorado IDs. They need to be more accepting to people from out of state.
I went there for the first time last night and it felt like a high school dance. I’m over 21 and i went to the main level bar and got a beer then 30 minutes later i go back to the same place i got a beer the first time to hang out for a second. The same bar tender with tattoos and a ball cap asks me what i want and i said i’m good. She then tell me to get away from her bar. The bar was not even half way full. I’ve never felt so disrespected by a bartender in my life. Won’t be coming back here.
This is a tough one for me. I will say as far as me going back the chances are slim to none simply because it’s all kids. For mature adults looking to have a good night this probably won’t cut it when a good majority of the people are 21-29 yrs old. One good thing is they really party lots of dancing different types of music. People are rude they will purposely nudge you and push to get through the crowd. I feel it’s a bit of a safety issue to pack that many people in one location. There were 2 fights on Broadway last night that were posted on Snap. The drinks were good. I will stick with my 30+ clubs.
Pretty great place. I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences here. When I was groped by some drunk dude, security was understanding, sympathetic and kicked him out of there really quick. Definitely my favorite dancing spot in Denver.
One of my favorite places. They had so many levels and different type of music. The hookahs are amazing!
This place is the SHITTIEST. They DO NOT CARE one bit of customer service. We paid 120.00 for cover and got only 20 back because two of my girls were accused of drinking under the age. What kind of customer service is that. We were in a group celebrating my girls 24th bday. So the were dancing and celebrating my girls birthday while the girls who were OF AGE were getting drinks. He comes cussing to one of the girls who wasnt 21 And first off what job allows you to be unprofessional to a customer. NO-ONE!! and the fact the rooftop bar was rude and threw our cards and receipts to us. This place DOES NOT CARE one bit of customer service and left a DISGUSTING TASTE in my mouth. DO NOT GO!!
Worst nightclub weve ever been to. Serving underage girls (19 year olds trashed in the bathrooms), overpriced drinks, completely ridiculous, rude staff. The security is absolutely without any standards whatsoever. The security actually manhandled me out of the building. I had had 2 drinks all night and was not drunk by any stretch of the imagination. Id been drinking water for an hour and a half!!! Several security escorted me out of the building and took my wristband for no reason whatsoever. I was actually helping my nieces and my 21 year old daughter (who was celebrating her birthday) get to the bathroom and back and was accosted by members of security because I seemed overserved. Id love to reiterate that there were several very drunk 19 year olds in the bathroom while I was waiting for my nieces and daughter. They werent with us but told me they were celebrating their 19th birthday. One of them fell next to the toilet and they were clearly drunk. And yet, I was escorted out... I was not drunk at all! The security literally surrounded me and my daughter and took us out to an alley and left us there! I tried to tell them I was not drunk but they would not hear me. I walked to the front of the building, went right back in (since I was in fact, NOT drunk), got the rest of our party, and we left. I have never been to an establishment where being a complete bully is ok... and that is exactly what the security staff is. A bunch of bullies. I see why youd go to this club if you were under 21 (especially since the staff would gladly serve you) but if youre over 21, save yourself the money and go to a REAL club with staff who have some sense of customer service. The one and only good thing I can say is at least there was no cover...especially if you have to enter more than once. Ill never go back to this place....and believe me, I will tell every person I know about the inept, rude security staff you employ at this club. Save yourself the drama and just go somewhere the staff appreciates your business.
The 18+ aspect of this place brings a very high school vibe to the bar. The three floors of different music are super cool - minus the fact that the DJs on a Friday night, of all nights, were terrible. Couldnt create a beat you could dance to if you tried. Wells are $10 and small - we came here as a last minute plan and probably wont be returning. I think with good DJs, this place would be fun - the top floor has a good view and theres tons of space.
One of the best night clubs to visit in Denver. They have three floors with different music on each floor. And each floor is always bumping all fours of the night. The security is very good as they search receive prior to entrance. And theyre very thorough too, they even search boots and anywhere where something can be hidden
Ive always been the sort who prefers hole in the wall bars and clubs because the atmosphere is much more relaxed and natural, but Ive been looking for new experiences. Ive tried vinyl twice now and cant get into it. Theres too many people to be able to dance/have fun. The general population is nothing to write home about either. Most patrons have been relatively rude and obnoxious to people just looking to have a good time, and it seems that nobody cares about it. As some others have said, the bathroom situation isnt very great either. There seems to be off and on issues with the water working which is a big problem for sanitation reasons. I like the multi story dancefloors and the rooftop, but for now the hassles arent worth it. Guess Ill stick to my usual spots.
Is there a way to do NEGATIVE STARS on this place? Was treated very poorly from the door onwards. The security thinks that they are all that and a bag of chips and their attitude is the most unprofessional and rude I have ever seen. I have visited many places but never felt like I was a little kid watching everyone else blame everyone but themselves. It is NOT WORTH THE COVER... if your looking for a night out I would say go anywhere but here .... youll regret the money you spend....
Does anyone else know details about what happened may 20th at around 1 am? I was running for my life along with my friends after hearing gunshots inside the building but no news about it. I need this cleared up.
Want to bask in the sludge of over important douchebags who think they are running studio 54? wanna be talked down to by club rats who are 5s and 6s and have nothing better to do with their time? go here. the only reason id pay the entrance fee is to blast diarrhea all over their bathroom walls.
Drove an hour and a half and waited in line for 2 hours to see one of my favorite DJs for my birthday and got kicked out within the first hour of being inside for “giving alcohol to a minor” when an 18 year old stumbled over to us with a drink and they needed someone to blame it on. Tried to reason with the staff in a respectful way because I worked as a bartender for 2 years and I understand how frustrating it is when people don’t cooperate and was cussed at and she raised her voice at me (lookin at you security staff member with the yellow colored contacts). Super cool that they spent the night keeping my sober friend and I out of the club when there’s people peeing on your dance floor in the basement of the club and minors getting drinks from god knows where.
Went for NYE and waited in line for 40 minutes. We didn’t even make it around the corner onto broadway. Decided to leave at 11:20 so that we wouldn’t have to celebrate in line. Seems like they shouldn’t have sold the amount of tickets they did if they can’t get people into the venue.
Security guards and management are completely out of touch with customer service. Or maybe theyre just really dumb. Ive only been here twice, and the second time I couldnt get in cause I didnt want the door guy to mark up my hand with permanent marker after checking my ID.Nobody else was in line, nobody... and it seemed like an empty night. Yet 1 security guard wanted to mark my hand so the 2nd guard standing right next to him can know he checked my ID. 😂 🤡 Theres much funner bars in lodo area. Avoid this dump and its meathead employees.
Came here for new years, the atmosphere was millenial for sure. Felt like i should of been 18 to enjoy an adult night out. I bought two shots of well tequila and a soda and was charged 25$ on the second floor, but charged 15$ on the bottom floor for the same selection.Basically, this club is not the club it used to be. It seems theyre desperately trying to cling to the times, and obviously bartenders are trying to make a dollar off the drinks under the businesses nose... its kind of embarrassing. Definitely ruined the night, definitely lost 2 customers.
Pretty good club. Cool layout that theres multiple levels.. Top balcony is probably a lot of fun in the summer. First floor had good speakers and didnt notice anything about an air conditioning problem. Only giving 4 stars bc the drinks are very overpriced. But i did get drunk off of 3 drinks and had a great time.
Security literally took my id and said that it was fake and wouldn’t give it back, I complained about it and he didn’t even listen to me. I paid 20$ for nothing. Now im working on getting another one but never going back there, they don’t care about your ID, if you look “young” then it’s fake, absolutely disrespectful.
Usually some pretty good artists are brought through here and the venue is spacious enough but still intimate which is nice for different moods or music styles. The sound is awesome bc they have FunktionOne speakers. Drink prices are a little high, though.
Service was incredibly frustrating, it took well over an hour and talking to over 10 different people to have a staff member spend quite literally less than a minute to grab our jackets
This place was terrible! We went for the beer and music fest and will never return. The entire place smelled like BO and sewage. None of the toilets flushed so it was like going in over flowing porter potties. Then to make matters worse, there was no running water! How awful is it that the customers OR staff can’t wash their hands? This place should be shut down due to health standards.
This place is horrible, the staff is rude and mean. Security was constantly pulling women (not men, ever) to the side to check wrists. They run through the club waving flash light in peoples faces like their job matters. The first floor smells like litter box. Bartenters were rude. I give this horrible place zero stars and will never recommend or attend this sorry excuse for a club again.
Our go to place for the house music in Denver. It’s not a clubby joint with bottle service, sparklers and dancers and that’s why we love it. 4 levels of music and they bring a ton of great artists. Ticket prices are on point too.
I loved it! We came all the way here from kc missouri and had a blast! Very Diverse ,Great music selection and scenery!!! The staff was friendly. And I think ages 18, 19, 20 & 21 should only be charged 10-15 not $20. Other than that great experience :-)
It was a good club me and my friend were having fun until we got kicked out because teens don’t know how to act and grab other people drinks. The sercuity was not as great the guy just yelled at me and my friend and told us to leave
One of the dopest venues in Denver! They have some of the best artists come through and the venue and the staff never disappoint! A couple of weeks ago, the bottle server girl, Elektra (Electra? Ellecktrah? Ellechtra? Idk the one named after the comic book girl) was on point and didn’t have any complaints. She made sure our group had our bottle and got them to us promptly, made sure our table was spick and span, was nothing other than polite and everything she did, she did with a smile that lit up the room. Let me tell you, Even if there wasn’t an event going on I’d go there just because of her service! (That and because well she’s super gorgeous, get at me girl! 😘)
Last review I gave them three stars because of the awful bartenders attitude who ruined my birthday night by arguing with me about my order. Today, I still giving them three stars because theres two things they need to fix before the five stars. Vinyl is bringing good DJs, the visuals at stage are cool and the sound is pretty good. They will get my other two stars when they fix the A/C and when I taste the alcohol in my $8.00 drink. I dont like strong drinks but at least I like to taste the alcohol. My drink was all ice and mixer. I really doubt my drink has an ounce of alcohol in it. I was a seasoned bartender when younger and my taste buds are very good.
With the ambiance of taking a stroll through the prision yard, being followed by security, watching people be stopped and frisked on the dancefloor. Shoved by security 3-4 times while in the middle of the floor; its a great place if you wanna see petty authority in action. The talent is good, the system bumps, but watching narcs (literally plainclothes security assets that are obviously present) call out fans arbitrarily, follow people into restrooms, stalk them up the stairs, then stop and try to abruptly pop people that have no contraband and justify it, as if playing it off because they found nothing leaves a sour image. You better believe that youll be sober for this, because drink prices are brutal.Long story short, its a rat-trap that is looking to rip you off with a security presence that is vibe destroying.
Jack, Tony, Preston, Rebecca, and the security guard Ricky Bobby and friends were great!!!! Thank you for keeping the show safe!!!!! I am blown away by the professionalism and care taken by each, to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
Definitely one of the best nightclubs in Denver! Talented and globally recognized techno and house music Djs. Latin night is a blast. They also have hip hop. The rooftop is awesome for summertime daytime parties. I have to give the staff props for being friendly and patient, even on the busiest nights. As a bartender, I know thats only possible when people love their jobs. Blackspy is awesome 😎
Im an electronic music connoisseur and with that many things are assessed when seeing a good DJ at a club.Room, sound, layout, temperature, crowdedness, service, and feel.Vinyl was okay. Was a basic layout with a little elevated standing room. Was quite warm in the center of the room and towards the back. That night was not too crowded at all, which is a huge plus. The feel felt alright. Pretty welcoming but nothing spectacular. Some douchey guys that you could tell werent there for the music at all.I did receive great service from the bartender with no issues getting in.Yotto was playing and was a dream come true to witness his records in person.Where I was turned off was the weak sound system they had. I mean I have heard deeper bass and sounds from a back yard dance party. They need to double what they have now to start and go from there.I held conversations with people within an arms reach away from their setup. Maybe they had their speaker at a lower level for a reason or something.Okay club, awesome dj, poor sound.
I love this club! Super fun place to bust out your dance moves! Great staff and great music! And the bartenders are amazing and fast. Also a dope view from the rooftop!
I drive 4 hours once a year just to come dance at vinyl. So worth the drive. Music flows awesome, the bar tenders are fantastic and dont get me started on the gogo dancers.Keep up the good work Vinyl
Aren’t Friday night supposed to be Latin nights? I was just there and I swear it was all rap and hardly any Latin music that wasn’t cumbia. I don’t know what happened to this place the Latin night life used to be so good here but I guess the DJ’s dropped in quality
Its so over priced you cant afford enough liquor to even make you drunk enough to have fun. 25 to get in and there was maybe 15 people. They almost had more employees than they had customers. Super disappointed.
Had to pay a $40 cover for two tonight, both the downstairs and upstairs were shutdown, there was no one on the dance floor, not much of anyone there, the music was bad, and we got kicked out the VIP section despite the fact that there were no VIPs there. Even though I paid the huge cover I left within about 20 minutes. Vinyl just flat out sucked.
I went there for a night out with a friend who was visiting and it happens that we paid for a table and we were offered a coat service and they took our jackets. by the end of the night we went to get or jackets and we got kicked out of the place and we could not get our jackets, I tried to contacted vinyl and they would not answer or be willing to help you even when I showed them my ticket to claim my jacket. I feel like they stole my money and my jacket. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DONt EVER GO THERE!
I wish glbtq night was every Sunday, or every night. They had some hotties from BareAssests performing on their massive rooftop patio. All the security staff seemed to be managing tf out of the place. The bartenders were slammed, but unlike some other bars, they had their heads in the game and served fast and friendly!
Terrible club! Dont advertise a show to start at 9 when it doesnt start until 12. I didnt pay for the amateur hour; I paid for a specific act. Also, clean up your bathrooms. You shouldnt have stale vomit on the floor that early in the night. I wont be back.
We only decided to come here because one of our friends was under 21. The security guard for the basement line checked my 22yr old friends ID and when he went to mark his hand, my friend got confused thinking they were gonna put an X on his hand and said No... Im over 21So the guard said Then go home and refused to let him enter. While we stood outside we saw him refuse other people for even smaller things. I get that being a bouncer can be annoying or stressful but this felt more like a power trip.
I have two prescription pills that I always have on me and security out front made me throw it away without proof. This place is not any place you ever want to be. Additionally, they were extremely rude in the process of their protocol.
This club is NOT worth the money if you drink or if youre under 21. If youre under 21, they inflate the entry fee to 4x higher, usually from $5 to $20. If you drink, prepare to pay outrageous prices for drinks. The website mainly gives ranges for entry fees, probably because they would piss off and lose customers under 21 if they gave the real prices. The club itself is nothing special. It has an area on the roof, but besides that its a fairly generic club, with sub-par music. It can be worth it if youre over 21 and dont drink. On the other hand, Beta Nightclub is usually $12 whether youre 18+ or 21+, and its a bigger club with more exciting events. Its a much better deal for most people. The owner of Club Vinyl, Regas Christou, should realize that instead of surprising the owner of Beta Nightclub with a lawsuit for stealing his DJs (which failed obviously), he should make his venues more successful by not scamming people under 21 or drinkers out of their money. Until then, he can expect Beta Nightclub to remain more popular than all of his venues combined.
Been coming here for years, good music, affordable drink, even more affordable bottle service! The heated patio is great all year. Sound is great on the main floor! There’s literally something for everyone.
Extremely rude. Paid about $300 cause they couldn’t explain there’s an upstairs and a downstairs after asking multiple times. Had wristbands and they ripped them off of us for no reason. Had to REPAY for wristbands we had already paid for because our friends paid and we were behind them.
This place is like a 2nd home to me! Friendly faces everywhere, Gary and the rest of the staff are awesome. Saturday TheHundredsPresents parties are the best place for underground and emerging house/tech/techno music in the country! Love the staff and everyone that works there!
Only putting 1 Star because this place sales tickets to shows, claiming they are taking place at vinyl club location, only to tell you the show is at another place. Definitely not acceptable, and they should make it CLEAR when you’re purchasing your tickets. Nice scam.
There was so much security it was hard to get comfortable and relax. They dont have a drinking fountain and wont refill water bottles forcing you to purchase multiple at 3$ a bottle.
Paul Blart Mall Cop was literally inspired by the bouncers at this place. $25 cover to see a bunch of local DJs and the bouncers think they’re working at the 40/40 Club in Manhattan.
Place is trash specifically the harassing staff and if you pay attention to the owners responses on a lot of these reviews you can somewhat tell he/she is not genuine in his or her answers. Im personally not a guy who has had 1on1 issues with this place so its not personal but Ive witnessed it enough with others that it will probably never get fixed. I wouldnt support this business OR the club next door.... Go at your own risk.
I would give it zero stars. Im at the beer festival and there is no running water in the entire building and no toilets flush ( Mens or ladies). I spoke with an employee and he stated that the owners will not spend money on repairs of any kind. I feel they will be seeking bankruptcy soon. Thank god for most people on MDMA dont care about washing their hands. What a filthy venue. How do employees wash their hands before making you a drink? Or wash up after they use the bathroom?
I spent a lot of my twenties and early thirties here in the 90s and early 2000s seeing many great techno/electronic djs, though in the past decade I have usually only gone to the occasional rare exceptional rooftop party.
No running water. Literally none of the toilets in the womens restroom could flush. None of the sinks had running water. Thank goodness I had hand sanitizer in my purse. I shared it with multiple strangers. This place is a health hazard!
This place gets some great artists, has some really good spaces, has an amazing rooftop patio. Prices are as high as expected for such a large venue. Its worth it for a night out at a club or a sunday night on the rooftop patio!!!!
Ghetto / jerkish security. Gave off a rough/weird vibe the whole night and culminated in them taking a $80 cartridge off me in the back alley of all places. Wont go again.
Came here from another place that wasnt hype, we were in line to get in regularly and this amazing girl offered us a GREAT deal, serviced us drinks and was very friendly. We spent very little overhead for bottle service. Come party here!!
Havent been here but I cant get a hold of anyone to request tables for my bachlorette party and ask questions about how handicap accessible areas are since I broke my foot. I emailed and called them multiple times.
When I want to get down and enjoy an atmosphere of fun and electricity, this is my spot!!! New Years, Christmas, St. Patricks Day, or any ole holiday even the ones they make up... I love it! Seeya soon.
Honestly if you’re under 21 you’re going to get kicked out they just take your money. Me and my friends were there for spring break and got kicked out after going to the bathroom for no reason 10 minutes after paying the over priced 10$ cover charge. Avoid this place if you’re trying to have fun
The basement drum and bass night is always fun and not too crowded where you cant move around. However, the owner needs to get in touch with me to get that AC fixed! Tooooo hot!
A good club. Brings Wonderful headliners all the time. The rooftop is fun, nice view of things. The drinks are outrageously priced, but what club isnt that way?
Simply awful club, security guards are rude, bartenders are horrible and the lines are ridiculous. They really need to work on their hiring process I more than likely will not be returning and encourage you to not waste your time or money.
Bay place. I work in the area as security and they security goes out of the way to protect everyone. I enjoy coming to the event.
I showed my ID to the bouncer and he told me to go to Chuck E. Cheese even though I’m old enough to get it into the club. The Church club is much better just go there instead.
Songs were atrocious and everyone was higher than Denvers elevation
The female bartender on the top floor is a legit psycho. She didn’t serve me because I didn’t tip her last time an was screaming at every other customer. 😂
No real DJs just a bunch of dudes with imac laptops and spotify. 1st experience here was terrible, people will start problems with you for no reason. Place was also super cramped, not as bad as church though.
Honestly some of the worst night-life experiences in Denver- they did a horrible job of preventing sexual assault or other creepy older men, but of course removed my friend when she WAS being assaulted, but did not remove her assaulter. Honestly a very old-school and out dated experience.
First time experience at vinyl and it was SUPER amazing . but yall should get some fans or something cause when the lights come on youll see a damn washed up circus all females make was washed up with sweat lol. But this spot was koo asf i definitely will be coming again every other weekend. ✌
This place was a great place to experience a little of everything staff was informing us on upcoming things to come to that club .
Dont go. Not worth it. Drove all the way from Boulder and stayed for literally 10 minutes and it was the worst club Ive ever been to. On a Thursday there were maybe 10 people there total?? Yikes.
If i could give less stars i would 😔.My Husband and I just recently visited this club last memorial day weekend From Texas It was filled with nothing but what looked like teenagers.THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I EVER Experienced.WE Were on the first floor and went to go get drinks from a black haired girl with a bull piercing was so rude then she proceeded to give my husband her number.I Smiled and let it go.The second time we came to get drinks she gave me the biggest Attitude and tried to Kick me out not sure what kind of trashy Drama you guys promote at your club ,but we will not be back .I would have rather paid for the strip club if that’s the type of business you Run!!!******Word of advice to the owner i hope you have a good Lawyer because with them type of ppl working for you your gonna need it to file bankruptcy 😔😔😔.
I bought a drink then went upstairs with my girlfriend, got asked for my ID and then was kicked out!! All because the security says I let my girl drink from my cup! Yeah I’ll go to the club and spend $41 just to get kicked out in an hour!? What a joke.
I left my wallet on the patio and I thought it was gone for sure. But a really nice staff member, found my wallet and my money was not taken. Fun club for sure. Good staff
Robert the bouncer was so funny and nice we got in for a pretty reasonable price 😊 Had such a great time dancing on the top floor
People are rude, cops always show up. more like a gangbanger/mexican hangout. nothing good can come out of gong here. Thought i was going to get stabbed in the bathroom over a urial because someone decided they wanted to cut the long line
Love dnb nights here. coat check is awesome 👍🏻
Spacious. Tons of levels with different things going on so theres a lot to see! Ladies get some slack on the cover charge, which is nice as well. Very fun vibe!
Came here on a Friday night. BARTENDER ON THE FIRST FLOOR IN THE BASEBALL HAT,(tha brotha), think he so fly, cant even pour a decent vodka, cranberry, THEN charged me $9!! 😮 FOUR FLOORS ALRIGHT! R&b, hip-hop, NOT!! How about a mixture of hip-hop, techno, and SALSA, and EVERY BROTHA up in here twitching like natural born meskins! 😮 😅😅😅😅I WONT BE BACK
This is pretty cool and laid back place with great shows occasionally. Definitely worth a visit on a day with the right artist. Drink prices are pretty standard.
The club is very fun but there needs to be more music new music during the Quarantine you’ll have enough time to get a new music in there every time I go it’s the same music y’all still playing 69 😂😂 like can we get new music music that actually that’s popping at the moment
Really not worth it, just go to milk instead, the music is better there. Pretty weirded out at this place seeing a bunch of old dudes preying on 19 year old girls
Went by there a while back had a blast best bar in town
