Attended the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy and it was an amazing event. The actors were fantastic and really brought Edgars stories to life. While there was no food, the cocktails were extremely delicious. The actors were the wait staff. They were friendly and willing to make adjustments as needed based on allergies/dietary restrictions. The atmosphere was dark and macabre, as expected for an event around Poe.

This was my first time in Denver and I had a blast at the Temple. Every night was in a different area of the building so it was a totally different experience each time. I loved how it was connected to my hostel so I didn’t have to walk anywhere by myself at night. Security and management was very nice and welcoming. Food trucks galore posted up outside when you leave. Not to mention Big Gigantic came as a surprise the last night I was in town!! I accidentally left my card at the bar one night and they were so cool and accommodating. Will definitely be partying at the Temple next time I find myself in Denver!

Oversold the venue for NYE by a TON. $50 down the drain - got there at 11:15 or should I say got in this quarter mile long line that barely moved at all, never made it in. For a TICKETED EVENT. Theft. Don’t support these scum. Pretty sure they continued selling tickets at the door despite the event being sold out online and were only letting people in if people were also leaving which no one is leaving a NYE venue at 11:15p. We just went back to our house and watched the ball drop there.

Dirty and overcrowded, if they shut down the downstairs bathroom good luck spending 15 mins sliding thru hundreds of sweaty bodies to go use the upstairs one where there’s always a huge line. No room to dance anywhere. I had to stand on the sewage drain in between a wall and a vip table last time and constantly moving to allow the security guard in and out. People constantly up against you. Spilling drinks everywhere. They keep re-subscribing me to their email list even though I’ve unsubscribed multiple times. I went here for New Year’s in 2020 and couldn’t walk in the venue, spent more time figuring out where to go and where I could simply stand to breathe then got deathly ill afterwards. It was probably Covid. And then I gave it another shot last summer. And it was the same horrible experience. If you want to feel like a peasant who’s been duped out of their money and time, this is for you.

Temple is hands down the best nightclub/ venue experience in Denver. I think people complaining about a simple $20 cover don’t appreciate the insane amount of effort, production quality, and talent they provide. They have huge artists like Deadmau5, Tchami, Green Velvet, Hippie Sabotage, etc…. So it’s more of a concert venue than just a club. Expect that pricing level and quality. The aerialists are so cool. I’m sorry but you cannot call yourself a nightclub if there is no dress code. You let people dress like bums in with hoodies and sneakers. Nightclubs have a dress code. I went down and asked the temple bouncers and manager to turn down the bass and they were kind; i think they actually did turn it down a little. However, thats probably an issue for people at the hostel a few nights a week getting their sleep ruined. I wish temple and the hostel would find an agreement about lowering the bass or installing better soundproofing or something so people can get a good nights sleep and both businesses can coexist.

One of the worst club experiences I’ve had in Denver. The sound was extremely bad with long reverb times in every room, speakers improperly delayed fighting each other, sound from the other rooms fighting each other with excessive levels all over the building. Vocals are almost unintelligible in the main room due to excessive reverb and room noise. But that doesnt really matter when they let in groups of 14 people to the section and my group was sandwiched between two groups like that. Really killed the vibe when its super packed in the vip area and you have no space to walk or dance. Even the security guard apologized to me/us and said it was not supposed to be that way at all. I am truly appalled by my experience last night. Security is so utterly poorly trained that I truly had an unfathomable experience.Last night while I was at the show, a girl continually called me “white boy” and whatever other racist remarks she could come up with (she was really drunk and trying to impress her friends). At one point, one girl she was with apologized because she didn’t understand her behavior either. At some point, she decided she didn’t want me there any more, so made a big scene by yelling. Her friends then all started punching and pulling on me, again I’m just beyond confused as to why or what I did, but it proceeds to the then guards pulling me out of the show and outside. As I proceed to explain, they state “yeah, we’ll, you started it” and refused to listen to anything else.To sum this up: spent a bunch of money on this show, harassed by other guests, physically assaulted by other guests, and then dragged out by security???? I figured I would call police to press charges on the people who punched me but just wanted some peace and quiet. Dodge this nightclub with your life, their security is beyond incompetent.Edit: now reading reviews how security NEEDS to ASK you to leave before they put hands on you. Didn’t happen. They drug me out of the show and continue to push me, and never once told me “hey we have to ask you to leave” or anything. Worst club in Denver. Can’t wait to see the joke of a response this review will get, if it even gets one at all.

Once I got there, my wife and I showed our IDs & then the bouncer asked me to take everything out of my pockets... An odd request I thought, and yet I complied. I was then told I was not allowed in with a vape pen.. Mind you this in a state and city where recreational marijuana is legal & you can go just about anywhere with the dame on your person. There is nothing on their website that states any such thing concerning a non-entry policy based on vape pens. Besides that the bouncer was smug & patted me down in a creepy way. I figured a pitcher of water for the table, or idk. She pointed me to go to the bar to get water. So I asked if we could get a pitcher of water. She said no, you can ask the girl for your table service or come here. Well, I got a cup of water and went on my way. As I saw the table behind us had at least 12+ water bottles and about the same number of people. I looked in our ice bucket and there was 2! We had 10 people in our group. I asked the girl for more water bottles. I believe she returned with 8. As the ladies in the group needed it. I was using a cup and scooping ice and pouring water into cup that way I wasnt taking a whole bottle. I had an ice water and an alcoholic drink on table and I left for a bathroom break and then they were gone. Neither was empty but really. That was very frustrating. I asked lady for more water bottles, she informed me that she was able to give one more bottle of water and then she has to charge or I can go to bar for water! Like what! Im sorry I dont understand. I was shocked and disappointed. I dont agree that our bottle service table of $1000 was going to be limited on water, a needed item for survival.I would suggest using a pitcher similar to the mixed drink bottles and filled with water. Why is that so hard? If anything, we should be limited on alcohol. For the most part, everything else was ok. The bathroom attendant was super nice and helped take care of the ladies. It didnt help there was a line every time, but it is what it is. The guy in our party also mentioned that only one working bathroom was available, which was at the top floor.I dont go out to the clubs anymore as that was a college thing I did in 2009 to 2012 (19 years to 22 years). But, maybe in the future if we go on a Saturday night it might be a better experience.

The owner did absolutely nothing to resolve a simple concern I had that totaled $90. She showed massive interest in wanting to respond and be proactive. Soon as you send photos and information in, she leaves orbit.Paid my friend, who bought us both tickets for a deadmau5 concert last night (11/5/2022). Around 11:30pm I’m in the main lobby where the admittance is (fence, security, police nearby, ticket checkers). Someone runs up to management and says there’s been an emergency and needs help on the dance floor and my instinct was to step out in case a rush of people come, which I hoped would not be the case. After stepping out, I was denied re-entry because according to the establishment, my ticket means nothing once I’ve entered the building. I waited outside for an hour hoping my friend would see my texts and could verify my ticket (he bought both of ours). He saw them after an hour of me being stuck outside and came down to prove I had paid the $45 ticket and re-admit me. While waiting, I had gone through security and was finally on the concert side of the fencing when one angry woman (ticket checker) asked to have me removed for lingering. I was pushed out of the venue by another gentleman (hands on my back shoving me in the direction of exit) and continued to wait for my friend. In the interim, 2 police were called because I was still lingering. The police were respectful and understanding that this venue’s policy didn’t make sense, but they couldn’t interfere with the process, understandably. Badge ID 1933 for the younger officer who tried to take the lead on this and get in my face for a while until realizing the odd policy Temple has about stepping out once and not being allowed back in. He then showed me empathy for the inconvenience. At this point, my friend who came to re-entry me and had been talking to the admittance crew is asked to step outside the facility and ease tensions. Little did he know, he’s now not allowed back in after being asked to speak with police. Temple policies ruined a night I had been excited for, ruined my friend’s night who tried to get me back in, ruined the night of our friends still inside that were looking for us, and ruined my friendship with the man I repaid for the ticket. I’m 32 years and I’ve never ever been to a venue that dis-envalues tickets upon entry. They theoretically ripped up my ticket upon entry without letting me know. Screw this establishment and whoever is managing it, which last night was a man who had no patience for anything and was only capable of telling us he doesn’t care and walking away.Edit: have the owner(s) contact meThis was overwhelmingly the stickiest dance club Ive entered. They need a hose outside to rinse your shoes before you enter strangers cars

The event planning staff at Temple Denver are truly exceptional. Our upcoming celebration, which encompasses both day and night festivities, is taking place over two of their venues. Despite the complexities involved in organizing such an event, the team at Temple has gone above and beyond to support us every step of the way. Their unwavering assistance, especially from Jill, has been instrumental in overcoming various challenges and making this event a reality. Its not always easy to put together a major event with a significant investment, but with Temple and their dedicated team, we feel confident and supported. We are grateful to have chosen Temple as the venue for our celebration and extend our heartfelt thanks to Jill for her exceptional support.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. The night started out with the bouncer inappropriately touching my friend (girl) which we ignored at first, sticking his hands all the way in the empty pockets of her skinny jeans and feeling around. Then as we went through the club the bartenders were great but the bouncers rammed into my male friend and proceeding to grab at his butt. Towards the middle of the night, I was dragged by two 200+ pound males as a 120 lb female. I get getting kicked out (totally fine) but to be assaulted by two men is not okay. I said let me just get my phone and they gave me straight up bruises from how hard they grabbed me. I plan on filing assault charges, no one should be treated this way, and the manager on duty did not care at all.

Completely disappointed with this place. I love dance music and it was the first time I’ve been here. The sound system has so much bass you can’t make out anything else. The drinks are expensive and fine, and there is literally nowhere to sit with ga. I was on the dance floor and someone came inches away from elbowing me in the eyes. I told him to calm down and he hit me in the face. Security did absolutely nothing about it. I had to move from my main spot near the front to the second level because I didn’t feel safe. I didn’t talk to a manager because I couldn’t confidently identify the guy and didn’t want the wrong person thrown out.

It was my first time there with some girlfriends. We had just started our night. Bartender, blond with long braids that resembled dreads bartended for us in the art gallery. She was pleasant for first round of drinks. Second round, my friend ordered 5 tequila shots and 1 vodka. Added: we were still sober. I complimented on her necklace and conversed with her as she prepared our drinks. She ended up serving us only 4 shots. My friend clarified 5 shots which she threw away and said, “come back when you’re actually ready to order”. By then my other friend was frustrated and proceeded to the front to wait for the bartender to serve us again. She glanced over and looked away and so my friend had to wave her down to which she said, “it was extremely rude for you to wave at me. I won’t serve you” my friend then replied, “fine I don’t want drinks from you anyways”We proceeded to the main stage and ordered drinks from the bartender there with no problem! He even had a conversation with me! As he finished our drinks, manager came to us and gave us a warning to not mistreat our staff. We told him we didn’t swear or use profanity towards her and I even said we were polite towards her. I then proceeded to say, if we were rude customers why did we treat this bartender with respect then? To which he said, “this conversation is over, respect my staff”. We took our shots from the bartender, thanked him and left the club. The female bartender was beyond rude. And we were courteous to her the entire time and I even had a pleasant conversation with her prior to her treatment of us. Once my friend told her we needed another shot was when she reacted so escalated towards us, I can see why the reviews are so low for this place in regards to their staff.I will always be supportive for advocating for your staff. But I just wonder why is it when management heard her story and saw we were respectful to another bartender, to still reprimand us. I’d understand if we were rude to both. But clearly we were respectful and maintained boundaries with both bartenders. They could’ve listened to our side of the story, we were calm and trying to explain it as he cut us off. How they dealt with this is terrible, I won’t be back. And if you’re gonna tell me to email you about my complaint. Already did. Fix your staffing issues please or expected to see a gradual decline in your customers. Seems like a lot of people are on the same page about your rude staff.

Temple by far has one of the best sound systems in Denver. And the entertainment value is top notch. Yes u may have to pay to sit down, and drinks are high priced. But for the amount of entertainment they provide. It well covers the expense. The bartenders and Ty are great people. And most of the bouncers seemed to be just doing thier job, always one or two whom have an ego problem. But u will have that when u have to employ so many. So overall for effort, I says 5 stars.

I am deeply disappointed in how this establishments corporate sales manager handled an ordeal. There was a dispute that happened with me and the sponsors; and we decided to part ways. There was multiple emails and a peerspace inquiry that showed that my company was hosting a nighttime party; and that sponsor was just a sponsor. I was multiple calls with the corporate sales manager and she was fully aware that I was planning a night time event and the company involved was just sponsoring it.When the dispute occurred, I was informed that there was no contract that was signed and that the sponsors deposit was invalid. The person from Temple who told me was 100% sure that this was the case and I was grateful to have learned that. I asked for the contract to be sent to me.When the corporate sales manager got back, she made it seem like she didnt even know who I was and made it seem like my company was just there to promote.....which was not the case at all. She just allowed a sponsor to hijack an event and didnt even offer alternative dates for us to consider.......It was a pretty bad experience.........Update: To clarify, Temple Denver folks think that I work for the company and that I was removed... This is false. I was never removed. It was a mutual seperation after the sponsor started using my name in ways that I did consent to. I explained this to Temple Denver and they arent even listening.

One of my buddies has an injured knee, but didnt want to miss the concert so I get past security and stop to make sure he doesn’t need any help. She starts shouting to rush us forward like it’s super busy and we’re causing a slow down…it was 10:30, the club was still dead, and the line was short. I explain we are all one group and I’m making sure my friend is okay. She proceeds to continue shouting at us telling us to keep it moving.Anyways we all make it inside and expect G Eazy to start at about 11. One of the staff members inside tells us midnight. Okay, that’s fine. It’s 1:15 and G Eazy still wasn’t on stage so we left…feel bad for the DJ that was trying to keep the crowd energy up. Kept hyping everyone up every 10 min for at least an hour like G Eazy was about to come out.Lights come on at 1:50 that means G Eazy didn’t perform for more than like 35-45 min. Read a previous review that the owner commented on “he was around for more than an hour”. Yeah, he may have been around, but he def wasn’t on stage that long. I think refunds should be administered.

Temple experience is great, from security all the way to the venue. Only downside is the Asian female bartender working the downstairs bar by the bathroom. Security at the front gave me a complimentary drink for my birthday and when I presented the card to the bartender she said, “I don’t know what this is” and demanded some cash for tip. I ended up giving her my debit card and she charged me either way. We were planning on tipping her regardless as my girlfriend and I have worked in the service industry and know how hectic bartending can be.Not really sure what her problem was as I talked to other people in the venue it seemed like a lot of people can feel how horrible her tension and rudeness was and had a really bad experience with her. Her customer service skills were definitely not the best, I thought maybe she was having bad day which I understand but she had multiple negative interactions with A LOT of people at the bar.Other than that the venue, sound, security, and even the restroom attendant was amazing.

It did NOT disappoint! Our group arrived and were in the door and at our table in minutes! Thank you Logan for a GREAT table location!! The place is immediately pleasing to the eye; feels spacious even when full; and the vibe is a nice mix of high energy, yet chill. Since we had extra tickets, we gave them to 4 of our friends (who also loved the place - and no, not just because of the free tickets). Five others showed up and came to say hello but ended up staying to party with us - management here is AMAZING (coming by several times - to introduce themselves; to see if all was ok; to see if our host wanted a larger space, which he turned down as we LOVED our table location). Our table hostess? Absolutely lovely! We will definitely be back - dependent on the artist, of course. On a side note, weve been to Beta; weve been to Ultra Miami; EDC; Global and Decadence; and weve been to Vegas clubs; - we will continue to do so. I acquired bottle service here recently and overall it was a bad experience. I made my reservation 1 month before the event, and 1 hour before it began I got a notification that my table was sold to someone else for a higher price. I was reserved for 2+ bottles, which usually turns into 3-4 bottles depending on how the night goes. This all came from their director of VIP Brooks which also took the liberty to tell me when walking in that he was doing me a favor for allowing me to be in that area at all, he literally used those words. Being a repeat customer (5th time getting bottle service at this establishment) I thought the deal was unethical and greedy. * The reason for my review is simple, bad/greedy deals lead to bad consequences. Being moved to a smaller table led to tables around us to be extremely dissatisfied, complaint after complaint (I counted at least 7) from each end because my group was too large. It took at least 4 bouncers to be involved with complaints THROUGHOUT the entire night. That to me is bad management. All over an extra bottle they sold which they would have gotten from my table + more if we wouldnt have been moved an hour prior to event start. Overall Brooks decision led to 3 tables being dissatisfied, tripled the work for at least 5 of Temples employees and of course I will never buy a table here again.

Impossible to find a place to actually hear any music clearly because sooooo much of this places floor space is VIP, and the volume seemed to be super low. They had Level open (their basement club) as well as an art room so Im wondering if capacity was sold based on that, even though we all came for a specific DJ so 3 rooms worth of people are trying to pack into a tiny space. Couldnt hear anything Jauz said and could basically only hear the beat of the music underneath everyones conversation around me.The bathrooms were beyond disgusting. The entire floor was sitting in water, 2 stalls had out of order signs, and there seemed to be people passed out in 2 more, so only 2 stalls actually had people coming in and out. The stall I used didnt have a toilet seat?! It was just the bowl. What in the heck? There was also a 3 person fight and then people from the same VIP booth throwing drinks into people in GA but they were never kicked out.Definitely not a place for a normal EDM show/crowd. I have been talking about taking my bestfriend to temple for over 2 months. We went last night around 11 and paid $20 each which is very expensive for a cover. Stayed and had a drink and decided to go out and smoke. I had a bouncer man handle me as I walked slightly outside the club smoking area to ask another bouncer a question about the smoking area. The manager gave me a drink ticket after the bouncer man handled me and took my drink. He didn’t even look like a bouncer and I thought a stranger had just grabbed me and shook me around but I got over it. I accepted the drink ticket and went to smoke and get some food truck food. We came back to be told we weren’t allowed to come back inside even though we both paid and the bouncer and manager recognized us. We were just told it was club policy. It was completely insane and while I waited outside for a Lyft I got punched in the face by an attendee of the club that was allowed back in (apparently that’s the kind of crowd Temple likes). Definitely would not recommend coming here. Save your money and time there are plenty of clubs in Denver with less of a cover that will allow you to actually enjoy your time and have fun.

Don’t get me wrong, Temple is a good venue to see a live act, but I’m giving them one star because I’ve sent two requests to be contacted about a refund on a ticket. I could not attend due to having Covid and the requests were sent over a week ago, and no one has contacted me. There’s not even a person on site you can contact. Customer service seems none existent and they don’t seem to care for their customer base.

The concrete vs. smooth dancefloors are frustrating. Way too much VIP space for a Denver club, taking away from the actual dancefloors. This isnt LA, we have actual music fans. Door staff seems confused. I was once carded 3 times, then sent to a new line after each time I was carded. Overpriced drinks, miserable staff. I tipped a woman more than my tab because I felt sorry for her. This was my default while Beta remodeled. Doesnt compare to Betas well-oiled machine and perfect floors for dancing. Decent headliners, painful openers. A bouncer once saved me from a predator. All staff, except those conducting entry, are wonderful.

Shocked this place is still open. Probably the rudest staff I’ve encountered in Denver. I was apparently standing in the wrong spot (which wasn’t marked) and I was grabbed and pushed away by a staff member. Drinks are priced 4 or 5 times what they should be. You also are not allowed to wait for cabs outside. They will force you to go across the street to Stoney’s, which is a much more worth while establishment

Hands down the best club in Denver. Offering an experience unlike any other dance club. Especially love that it’s 21+! The staff and security are friendly and inviting, the bottle service is just like all the other mega clubs I’ve been too around the US, it’s great to see that Denver can compete with other markets now with this level of service and experience. I’ve been to clubs all around the world and this one competes with the best but also has so many unique aspects that sets it apart. The design and lighting transport you upon entry, the intimacy of each room even though the club is huge, the site lines to the stage are incredible, there is no bad view. The art gallery is phenomenal and such a unique experience of its own, I could live in there! All in all, this venue is introducing Denver to an experience they aren’t used to unless they were to travel out of state, excited for what the future holds with this dance club!!

Probably the best club Ive been to in Denver so far, all the bartenders were absolutely the rudest Ive ever experienced though. They all acted incredibly rude and no matter what bar we went to they were anything but friendly being overly aggressive, pouring drinks with almost no alcohol, and over charging us $16 when other bars in the club said $12-$14 for the same drink. But right when there was no hope we found a bartender named Michelle on the lowest floor in the dance room over. She was incredibly respectful, patientl and an Angel compared to all the others serving everyone with a smile and was so nice infact that this review had to get made. PROMOTE MICHELLE and get rid of those disrespectful bartenders that give your club a bad name. Otherwise a great club if it hadnt been tainted by the bad bar tenders.

Hard pass. This place is absolutely awful and a failed experiment that wont be around long. Im going to leave music reviews alone (it was solid) because any club can have a great DJ--Im going to be evaluating the club itself and the garbage bottle service we were sold. Were all meeting up here for a bachelor party so we obviously order bottle service ahead of time. Were having 15-20 people so we reserve a few tables upstairs right above the dance floor. Were all extremely pumped, dressed for the occasion, and ready to have a good time. When we get there, we wait in line for bottle service. Ive never had to do that before--already a red flag and in hindsight we should have left then and there. Were paying you thousands and thousands of dollars to serve us some bottles of vodka, most of what youre paying for with bottle service is obviously real estate and service. We were given none of either.Once were in and finally get our host, we were told they got rid of our tables and sold them to somebody else who offered more while trying to squeeze us into a SINGLE table that was left. What?! We ordered way ahead of time--at least a month or two in advance--and even if they wanted to have dismally awful customer service and sell it to a higher bidder despite our reso, At LEAST give us the chance to match or increase our own prices--we werent even granted that. We waited 20 minutes for a server at our lone table and ended up moving sections to get more room. Tons of folks from out of town expecting to have a good time were completely screwed cause they couldnt even fit in the table area so we ended up moving down into their dingy basement with a different DJ out of respect for everybody there so we could all fit in one place. There were a solid 6 people dancing on that floor. Sweet.Another 20 minutes goes by--yes, were gearing up to an hour now before getting served. Some of us leave, some of us end up biting the bullet and going to the bar for a drink while we wait. We finally get some bottles. At this point its probably futile because weve all been pissed and fuming about the crappy level of service and the robbery of the tables we reserved prior to coming, but were really digging deep trying to have a good time out of respect for the bachelor. We ended up just leaving after just another hour or so.The main floor is OK but not nearly big enough and youre crammed in there like a sardine. Sound is extremely loud--feel like it was louder than any club Ive been in before but it could well have been my crappy mood from getting shuffled around a bunch.Bathroom was also just... weird. Finally make it to my spot and Im getting rushed out by the bathroom attendant. Just weird, Ill leave it at that.DO NOT go here if youre looking to get bottle service and even if youre looking to hang on the floor, still not worth it.

Security is over the top sometimes and nonexistent when involving someone who knows someone. I got hassled on my way in Friday over a box mod on my way in, but then once inside smelled heroine being smoked on multiple occasions. Not maybe smelled. Definitely smelled. Also saw one of the members of security walking around the gallery smoking a vape pen. Not maybe saw, definitely saw. Mixed with the over the top branding, design and the way the employees carry themselves makes me think something not quite moral is going on behind closed doors here. This is the only speculation I made but the owner became highly defensive against this particular comment, not doing anything to dissuade me of this theory, in fact furthering it. Furthermore my girlfriend was charge 3 different prices for the same drink and was on the way expensive side. Also seemed to be over-sold since the place was packed to the point where several times people were unable to get out of the crowd.Ultimately my issue isnt so much that what they did as how they went about it. Very hypocritical.

I use to love coming here, a great space. After Covid hit they reopen there venue which I was excited for. Last weekend 10/16/20 we bought two tables which was a total of $650. I understand covid hit and they have to abide by the rules, but one person told us it was ok to dance around our table with our mask on. Thats what we were doing, but then the guy with the dread locks came and was really rude with us, pretty much yelled at us to keep our butts in our seats. If all the workers were on the same page about the rules, it would be ok. Not ok to be treated like this after shedding $650 dollars on your rudeness. Sorry but will not be back anytime soon!

We saw Julian Jordan and this was our first time here. Overall, we had a fun time and enjoyed this club. Getting in was easy and we waited in a short line. They wand you and check your pockets before you walk in. Im actually glad they do this and it made me feel safer once inside. This club is not perfect and its not Beta. This is a new club and they will be growing and making improvements over the next several years. The sound system was adequate and the LED lights were awesome.I remember going to Beta when it first opened and this place reminded me of when Beta first opened. It still feels new and has that underground feel. At the end of the night the dancefloor was half empty and allowed us to cool down. The drink prices werent too bad but entry was a little steep. My only complaint is the bathroom situation. If you are on the dancefloor you have to push your way through the crowd to get to the staircase. You then have to push your way through the second floor bar to get to the bathroom. There are only 3 mens urinals so there was a long line of guys waiting. As this place grows and becomes more popular, this is going to be a big issue.I would recommend giving Temple a try if you like edm. The 21+ is nice and they enforce the dress code a little bit more than other places. This keeps the crowd classy and the kids who wear tank tops out.Update: After posting this review I had an issue with my credit card. I emailed the club and the issue was handled quickly and professionally.

I almost feel bad for what Im about to say, trashing a nightclub online is not generally my style. But, the abysmal experience last night (Nora En Pure, 4/5/2019), unfortunately, deems this necessary. This was my first time here, and my understanding is the venue was filled significantly more than normal for what thats worth. First, there was the manner in which the line was handled. There was zero organization to this process. We had purchased tickets ahead of time, and I understand that theres going to be some wait, but this process...needs to be tightened up, kind of a lot. We were told conflicting information about which of the multiple lines to stand in, and eventually were told to get in any line. The security let my fiance in without checking her purse, jacket, or anything at all. I was asked to empty my pockets and was wanded and patted down, like Im visiting a prison. Then, all of these lines were funneled to the same person, who handed us a cheesy raffle ticket, one that could have come from Wal mart. We were in the same line as people without tickets. So, I was wondering what is up with that? Put the people with tickets in a different line than those who need to purchase them, right? Not to nitpick, but while in line a staff member basically shoved me out of the way instead of, maybe, politely saying excuse me so he could enter a staff door. The staff seemed fairly rude, disorganized overall.Once inside, my fiance looked for the bathroom, and two of the four stalls were clogged and a liquid of unknown composition covered, from what I was told, the whole floor. Unacceptable at a truck stop, and certainly a club charging what this outfit does for tickets (a joke, see above) and drinks.Giving ctedit where it is due, a few of the bartenders were courteous, knowledgeable and expedient. Others needed to step up their game two or three notches. On the dancefloor, and Im not the Fire Marshall, the dancefloor is essentially the basement, under street level. What if, God forbid, there was a fire or other calamity? I dont know if everyone could get out! Just an afterthought, I dont have the building plans in front of me, but a consideration.Other lowlights included staff, constantly, walking through the crowd with little trash cans held over their heads. Apparently there was no way to just place adequately sized receptacles throughout the establishment. Id be embarrassed, but again, really none of my business. The sound system was okay, but I could hear the crowd murmuring along with the sound. It looked like a good system, but the bass wasnt punchin or anything, and I personally like my house music blaring loud, just my personal taste.Im giving two stars though because the LED displays were pretty legit, and the adjacent art gallery is a unique juxtaposition to the boisterous nightclub environment.I hope these observations are taken to heart. The club community has lost a few good venues over the years (remember NORAD? Really miss that place) to mismanagement, and I want to see the scene in Denver thrive. Temple could potentially be a staple in said scene, but some fairly major adjustments are going to need to be made. Unless this happens I probably wouldnt return if they booked Tenaglia with the original members of The Doors playing the art gallery.

The people who work here are absolutely horrible, its not even worth going to. Would much rather go to a venue where people are treated with respect. A lot better venue now that its no longer city hall, granted city hall had amazing shows as well the layout was not as enjoyable as temple. Id give it 5 stars but the biggest issue of the bathrooms still smelling horrible and making areas within range of them smell just has bad needs to get figured out. I figured new club new ownership that they would have resolved that issue thats been there since city hall.

The first and only encounter I’ve had with Temple was enough to persuade me to never step foot in the establishment. The fact that the general manager can rudely hang up on paying customers is abysmal. We were worried about driving in a snowstorm and he was extremely rude about the situation and dismissed us, while also belittling us. I was genuinely disappointed about not being able to see the show tonight, but I am not disappointed that I won’t have to deal with the rudeness and unprofessionalism of the staff, starting with the upper management.

The only problem I have with this club is at the dance floor is way too small, the huge bottle service area on the dance floor is wasted space. If you dont have bottle service there youre not going to see the DJ unless you push your away in the crowd which is almost impossible. Saw Sander Van Doorn here and it was rad, with one drawback.Pros:- awesome whole-room light setup- good layout, not really a bad spot- coat check- reasonable cover for big name DJs ($20 for DVD)- insane sound setup- cute staffCons:- the sound is ridiculously loud (Beta style), bring earplugs if you care about your hearing at all. Obviously the music is the selling point for a club, but they could easily turn it down and it would in my opinion be a better experience. The volume is so intense that its hard to go here very often. If they turned it down from insanity to just loud, I would definitely hit up Temple more often. Seems like it would be better for business.

Im giving an extra star for the little art gallery & unbelievable amount of money they spent on the lighting effects.
