Went here with the boys the other weekend. The bartender George took great care of us! Courteous and attentive! Made sure we got refills quick and seemed like he enjoyed working there. He was having a good time slinging drinks for everyone at the bar. Definitely excellent customer service!
I went for the first time on an R&B showcase night. The DJ was pretty decent and the performers were pretty good. I liked how they provided a space for local performers to show their talent. Even though they dont have straws for your drinks this place was a vibe. They had girls coming around giving samples of their drink specials which I thought was a nice touch. The guy at the door was pretty cool. I will more than likely be back to this place. Well done.
Cute little spot with an interesting vibe. First time I visited was a rap show, second time was some dj.. but the same bartender- Jessi- she’s fantastic! Got my drinks right both visits and always friendly. As someone in service industry myself I appreciate a bartender with a similar mindset! Jessi rocks!!! I’ll def visit again
They charged me $40 for 4 bottom shelf tequila shots.. absolutely criminal.Pretty decent venue though as far as atmosphere goes
This is a great venue to see live music. The sound quality and mixing were done very well. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the difficulty in finding parking. I found a spot 3 blocks away … I know, first world problems. Definitely would go back. Great bar service and decent prices for Denver.
I recently visited this venue and really enjoyed it! The unique artwork on the walls combined with the overall use of color and lighting was wonderful. George, the bartender, gave me excellent service and kept happy the entire visit!
Went to the FreakNik today 6/8, since the advertisement was of 90’s, Early 00’s music. I was really looking forward to it since for New Years Eve, they had something similar. The DJ, however, played mostly new music. Huge disappointment!! If I would have known that, I would have just stayed home.
When I went there it was not what I expected total chill vibe unlike any other venues even security there is its own standard. I had a security manager there talk to me instead of yell at me and was chill and understanding probably the best encounter I’ve had from establishments. George my dude hold that mentality my friend.
Had the best time here. 10/10 recommend especially when George is working. This guy is an excellent manager and his bartending skills are top notch. He shown professional and exceptional skill in his job.
Do NOT go to the Wednesday ladies nights. Walked in close to 10:30 and paid $5 only to find a trio of 3 girls sitting at a table and 3 mid dudes awkwardly shuffling on the dance floor. The music wasnt even 2000s! Desperately needs a new DJ and an actual crowd
Ten bucks for a shot of vodka. The perfect spot for yuppies to sit and watch a DJ spin some OneRepublic. The type of venue Denver doesn’t need more of.They also have a nasty habit of stiffing artists and refusing to pay them. Other reviews will tell you the same thing I do.
George, the bartender at YMH, is incredibly skilled at his job. When I ordered four different drinks, he quickly processed my payment and seamlessly moved on to assist the next customer. Its reassuring to see that there are still efficient and courteous bartenders like him.
Fun small venue. Has a decent sound system and a cool dance floor that lights up. The staff was friendly and the drinks were good for the price. Parking can be tricky but if you circle the block a couple times youll usually find something. I saw the artist Earth Science and he put on an amazing show!
Come to this place for a local happening spot with popping local artists. I love how the Venue is separated with a open bar area and then a dance floor behind it... with another bar area. Go here to meet people who are tapping into source energy and becoming their higherself. I received a beautiful Jade mala bead necklace from here and I am grateful for the reading I received at the Valentine’s Day party. What a place and what a solid vibe!
Jessi the bartender is the cutest and best lil bartender! If you have a chance, go say hi to her and experience her fun personality 🫶🏼💙
DJ was great drinks for good it was really packed it was so much fun very clean definitely would come back.
If you are part of a band, DO NOT PLAY HERE IF YOU EXPECT TO BE PAID. They will vaguely hint that you will receive a portion of the door sales, but they dont tell you that you ONLY make money off of your pre-sales and then they refuse to pay that out as well. Bands get stiffed here, dont perform for them!
The staff was very kind. The Bar tenders were great. The weird part was we went for event. First time there. They had none of the artists they said would be there on tickets. The one Dj that said he was on tickets started at like 11:30-midnight.Just plan ahead if you go. That the headliner act will start until 1am.The ventilation either wasn’t working or it being designed in there to not work on the side where the artists are. By 12:30 am it was filled with fog and vape smoke. Was also disappointed about. When the air is super thick with smoke it kinda feels like you are on high mountain peak.Maybe they were just having off night. It not usually like that in there.I thought it was funny that the security came by the table took my cup but left my friend. There two of us and only 2 cups. I laughed and was like well I just got cut off of drinking soda apparently I have had enough. 😂🤣Just keep in mind that opening acts may not be what on the tickets. Headliner not coming on until like 1 am. If you plan ahead you should have a night.
I love being a Tuesday night open deck and Electronic Monday night DJ. Thanks to Ana for helping us promote the event and to the other DJs who show enthusiasm and support.
It’s say Bollywood night on Thursday but when we visited it’s mixed with other music as well he played Bollywood but not fully satisfied with music and songs I personally didn’t like the Bollywood DJ only for few minutes and then last 1hr or so not full Bollywood again mixed songs and music. It’s a regular pub with all mixed DJ music.
Kewl venue. Dohp art covering the walls. Bangin sound system. Grate crowd! 5 stars for supporting local hip hop!!!
Big Rob and Rudy are the absolute best in the business! Hospitality is out of this world!10/10 will come back!
Bought VIP tickets to a show on Sunday, that was suppose to start at 7,and the doors were to open at 630. Stood in line for 2 hours with many other customers. Security had no clue about the VIP tickets and said they had nothing set up for it. Very sad the promoter and the place didnt know what was going on. Alot of people missed alot of the show standing in line
Venue promises performers a percentage of the door and then stiffs them. All sorts of arbitrary non-compete rules and weird “first in last out” organization for equipment. Don’t bring your band to play here if you’re expecting to get paid. You won’t see a dime
10/10 had the best time. George the bartender was fantastic and always kept up with orders even when busy!
The atmosphere is great! Always good crowds and Ive had a lot of fun here. The only thing Id like to see improved is the sound. Besides that this place is 10/10
The whole entire experience was a joke. From waiting in line for an hour and a half, to being told we had to pay because it was after 11. There was ONE bartender behind the bar (he was great), 2 stalls in the bathroom. The Djs weren’t great….disappointment after disappointment. One and done.
Enjoyed the 90s theme they had :) it was fun 😁 dj was sick af 👌
Cool atmosphere and cool people just was a little disappointed on open mic night to not be able to perform due to not having the right equipment, all i need is a mic and a beat that i used,, i mean I think open mic should be for everyone not just certain bands or music.
Bartender is super nice and the venue in general is an overall great spot to go to with your friends. Highly recommend bringing your friends here.
Always a good time here. This place is a nice vibe, showcasing local artists
Cool & intimate music venue with 2 rooms/2 bars. Killer visual effects on the main stage (probably run by the particular promoters that night). My only quibbles are: 1) the sound in the main stage room (especially low end bass for drum&bass music) was really lacking. Come on, soundguy, push it if you can!And 2) smoking/fresh air area is out front on the sidewalk, and theres not even small speakers out there to hear whats playing on stage.
No room for the crowd. Wish I could have seen inside, heard great things but only from people who wait 3 hours to get in
Came here for a hockey team event, servers seemed a bit confused on where to bring food, some of us got food almost an hour before others did.
Big Rob made the experience here all worth it. You need to come check this hidden gem out before the word gets out!
Great place, vibes, sound, everything! Also the arcade machine is LOADED! 🤘
Great sound and vibe. The free live music was wonderful.
Great place for shows. Bar is very adequate. Would love to see it take off a bit more. They have a huge amount of space.
Bad service. Unprofessional. Bartender was rude all night. Guy should find a new job. He was mid 30s male on the heavier side. They also stopped the music at 11 and closed even though they advertised on the flyer until 12 and open until 2.Besides having to deal with the grumpy bartender, it was cool venue, good sound quality, great patrons.Negatives - No smoking area and no water except bottled for purchase
Cool underground EDM vibe. A fun place to DJ & dance
Wouldnt recommend to other bands. Decent enough venue, but they dont run it right. Five bands booked (too many) and the local bands (ugh) brought a lot of people, but played first (far too long of sets 1hr plus each), then everyone left. The three touring bands, who are actually good and tour internationally (mine included) played to a handful of people who remained. Thats not how its done. No one sold any merch. Cover charge was $25 (!), but we only got two drink tickets per member. then we all had to shorten our sets because of the epic sets the amateurs played. Good light show anyway. Staff was nice, but I would never play there again.
Aux wars was so much fun..the audience decides to pass or keep
Place needs to update their hours. It was closed Monday night.
Great venue, love the sound system and the wall art. awesome place!
As a performer I adore this venue. The space is covered in art, their stage lighting looks beautiful, and the infinity mirror dance floor is like no other. Its nice to have a visual DJ plaster my logo on the screen behind me as the lights beam across the venue and I play my tunes. I love having a little green room area to relax and the staff has always been kind to me. 💜🐧
A friend and I checked out this spot last night because of the name. It seemed fun 😊. Open mic night on Tuesday for up and coming bands. The best part was all the awesome art work that was for sell along the walls of the club, the didnt have any beer I liked but the music was vibe mellow on the jazzy side nice. Ill go back because they need a real backup singer to oohh and ahhh.
Low key good spot for up and coming artist events
Awesome show, fantastic local art scene
Went here for nye and they def oversold tickets. It was completely packed, not enough bathrooms, no space to dance.
Divey, fun open jam on Tuesday. Music was good and definitely leaned towards a funk/jam band sound. There was also a dude working on an oil painting of the pillars of creation in the corner. Overall a good vibe here and Im sure Ill be back
I give the venue itself a solid 5 stars. Super cool for being a smaller venue.Side note the bartender that looks like Elon Musk was trash. He was super rude and I watched him literally roll his eyes at people (not just me!) Also, the soda tasted weird. Again the venue itself gets 5 stars, but perhaps it needs new bar staff.
Love it good vibes and had lots of fun
Bartenders were great. Great atmosphere.
Dope little venue, cool stage production and fun vibe throughout the venue. lots of great options at the bar and staff is friendly.
So happy we stumbled across this place! We rolled 9 deep for my bachelorette party on a Friday night. There are two rooms, each had a bar. One side has tables/ seats and the other has couches/ dance floor. The live band and DJ were so fun, they had us dancing all night long. The other people in the club were so nice and friendly, it was a great vibe all around!!
Its got all of the hallmarks of a great live music bar - just like its predecessor The Snake Pit.With the Black Box nearby, its still good to bring out the budding new EDM talent - but it might be best if they focused imon live performances.Theres a space built to accommodate about 100 very comfortably, but I feel it wastes about half when a performer is in stage in the east room. The ambience is exactly what youd expect if youre expecting old ceilings to keep the ghosts of clubs past in, and gently used floors. Stripped down - it could really shine.Ill be back to try it out as a club venue, but its clear that they shouldnt fight gravity as a live music venue.
Pretty cool venue. Impressive sound system and visuals for how small it is. Bathrooms are clean and staff is friendly.
Good chill intimate setting where you can interact and see your favorite group. The staff is nice and accommodating. Smaller venue but every place in location is a decent view.
Very dope place. sound system is excellent. I was there and met Denvers mayor candidate Mike Johnsonston, and the the owner of Rich Recording studios.
We are so BLESSED to be able to have a crew that has a clue how to still throw a good show through all of this crud! They far exceeded my expectations with how a show can be and still feel safe! So rejuvenated to feel music like that again! I am SO SO SO thankful that a staff can get it together and make a good production with professionalism and charisma!
This is a smaller place w live performancesThe sound quality has greatly improved. Fun multicolored lit dance floor. I caught a breakbeat show here last night that blew my mind. 💜 Loved the improvements!
This a great place to come see a show or an event
A good time. Has a great vibe. Awesome bartenders that actually know how to make good drinks. Color me impressed. Im looking forward to going back sometime! I would recommend checking this place out!
I am not a fan of complainers. But this experience was truly disturbing so I felt the need to express...My waitress was inattentive so I asked the bartender for a drink. He was very rude. He said that I couldnt order a drink from the bar. I informed him that I didnt get a visit from my waitress in a while. She defended herself not knowing that I saw what she was truly doing...You cant serve on a server and think they dont see what you are and what you are not doing...and the bartender thought I couldnt see him complaining to her about me either...I am compelled to express that the owner needs to hire more mature people.Im sure they have good souls. But that doesnt mean theyre good employees. I hope future customers have a better experience. I send my love. Namaste
One of the coolest little venues in the metro area! Amazing staff, excellent location, plenty of seating when ya dont want to stand! And the sound system is amazing too!
I went to YMH twice this past week (played one day) and I am so impressed by this venue. The staff is wonderful, we received great hospitality. I also think it is very well maintained and safe during these covid times. Social distanced tables, they keep up with people wearing their masks when not at a table, super great sound system, and service. Also the new floors and art are insane. Will definitely return soon and spread the word to my friends.
I had a blast my first time at your moms house the atmosphere was great and the mystery box was super cool and fun add on!
Love this venue. Love the location. So much potential for the years ahead but.........Can we change the name. I feel like we deter a more sophisticated audience for the future of venues that are historic landmarks in Denver. Lets give this place the potential it deserves. Much Love and Respect. Lets have 10 year anniversaries at a venue not called your moms house
Came to hear a few bands, first time hear and they were awesome and the staff is really cool!
Best venue for local / upcoming artist!!!
A great smaller space (400), to see local acts and bands. 5 bands on the ticket. $10!
This place houses my favorite Denver crowd. Not only are the music and art always pleasing, the people and good time vibes are what keep me coming back. Its exactly the kind of local venue I want to keep supporting. Definitely check it out! Its off to an awesome start and theyre getting better with time.
Fun venue, but the bartenders are extremely rude. Ive been there twice with friends and the bartenders were rude both times. Im not sure why theyre all so miserable, but a fun venue should have good staff. Managers should seriously talk to their staff about this ongoing issue.Update - new bartenders are friendly and provide good service, unfortunately the venue is still disappointing. We went to a show and two female friends got in paying $15 in total, less than an hour later and the rude ticket guy charged my boyfriend and I $15 each. This venue is promising and has a lotof regulars, but it’s not welcoming to new comers.
Ive only been here once and was not at all impressed. There sound system sounded almost like it was blown the drinks seemed super over priced for just well drinks. But on the bright side their lighting set up was good and they do have some fantastic art in both rooms
I come here for Tuesday jam nights and frick frack blackjack. Great tunes and a great opportunity for local musicians to jam together on stage in a groovy manner. Bring your useless items youre okay to part with and bet them playing blackjack. Good vibes all around and a great spot to spend a Tuesday evening.
Went to see one of my favorite dis and my boyfriend who is 42 years old forgot his ID. He did have a picture of it as well as his birth certificate and the gentleman at the door was rude and denied us entry as well as a refund of our tickets.
Such a fun place to drink and dance! We happened to stumble in on a Cumbia night which was so much fun! The band was great and the staff was beyond amazing, everyone in the club was super friendly, would highly recommend!!
The venue was great. We saw an awesome band named Barefuzz, and their sound was incredible.
Amazing music, awesome atmosphere great feel to the whole place.Watched some Dj Mack wizard and had so much fun.Definitely want to go back
I love this venue, we held an after-party here and had an absolute blast! The staff is friendly considering the riffraff they put up with, so dont forget to tip!
This place is amazing! Every time I go to Denver its a must stop fun shop! Dope music, infinity floor and vibes thatll have you feet stepping to the moon! Stop by and let loose! You wont regret it 😎
Its like the intimacy of a coffee shop mixed with the good social energy of going to a club. I truly enjoyed my experience here, very friendly locals and it was nice to hear my favorite local DJ Spacewaves
Small cute. Some guy was painting a sepia portrait of the madamona and child for some reason the whole time. DJs were good.
This place is great to go to. The staff was really friendly. My only down fall was any of the drinks I liked they didnt have. I am not a Coors fan and thats what they had. I asked for 4 different drinks and they didnt have any of them. But as for the place it was great.
Incredibly friendly staff! Wonderful neighborhood bar with amazing local music. Support the locals! Your bartender will keep you happy. One of the best hole in the walls in Denver.
I bought a ticket ($15), ordered a beer ($7), and left a tip($2) before i started dancing but thats not the beginning of a happy story.I had been drinking a lot of water throughout the night (4 cups). I wasnt sure if it was a big deal for the bartenders to wash the reusable plastic water cups and asked if they machine wash their water cups. This struck a nerve. The blonde female bartender got mad and literally yelled at me they were closing and i had to go to the other bar.I said Im not even ordering anything, just asking a question. And they said well we are closing go somewhere else!! I mean keep in mind this bar is inside a dance room where there is dance music playing well past the closing time of the bar. So I just asked if I made her upset, in order to say sorry and she just yelled again at me they were closing the bar and I had to go! So that answered that question and i walked away to talk with my friends.Later on, a manager of sorts approached me and kicked me out. He said I was cut off and had to leave.Im mostly just unsettled over the lack of common decency I experienced by the staff and would appreciate an apology from the owner.
Music was fine, drinks are overpriced. And they say you can give a review to get a free drink, but apparently there are arbitrary times that they will honor this policy and you wont know until you have already posted the 5 star review. Google wouldnt let me delete the review, so I guess 2 stars seems appropriate for a bar that is tricking drunk people into giving them good reviews.
Its a great little hang out spot...no pretentiousness just a lot of nice local art on the wals friendly staff and good specials on beer. The jam band beer is good but you have to like berry beers. We bought a print and the artist even signed the back of it for us! I appologize for not remembering the name of the band but they were great too.
Fun & intimate. 2 sided. Kind of like a small Cervantes style bar if youre familiar with that venue in Denver. Bartenders were distracted easy and sometimes not there, unfortunately. Always have some good bands. Sound isnt the greatest but small, so youre close. Pizza slices for sale nearby next door that are open late, good, and inexpensive.
Seriously my favorite venue in Denver. The staff is tremendous, they truly care about everyone who walks in the doors. I’ve never felt so at home, away from home. The talents they bring out are amazing. There is mamas munchies for when you are feeling hungry, and the drinks are the BOMB. During covid they are staying on top of protocol, even having friends that work there, they stay professional when I feel a little dancey, & they kindly tell me to sit at my table. Mask rule strictly enforced. Clean bathrooms. Clean floors. Top notch. I have nothing bad to say about YMH, and I hope everyone gets the opportunity to Experience it!
One of my new favorite spots in Denver. Such a fun place to groove at with awesome vibes, excellent music, fun crowd, great value on drinks, and laserrrrrrrs. I really love the variety of events and support of local talent. Definitely going to be a regular hang out from now on!
YMH is the best venue in Denver that plays a variety of edm. They keep the community diverse while still being unified. The staff is my favorite. They’re polite with great energy. I’ve been to many events and not one has ever been disappointing!
Bollywood night there was fantastic! I think they have it every month. The pizza place next door was delicious
Wow wow wow......... so we had a table full of promoters and cannabis business owners ranging and I can’t believe the service we got.... absolutely abysmal! You told me I can’t go to the bar to get a drink but will a sever ever come? When I ask into it they explain how understaffed they were and that would be fine if not for the “head of security” or someone”aziez” was his name. After explaining that we had terrible service to the bouncer and I was standing with my card in my mouth waiting for anyone to notice me he decided to explain that we were somehow in the wrong for wanting the service we’d expect at a table we were forced to stand elbows length from. The man went as far as putting his hands in our faces telling us to leave and saying he doesn’t want us back. Dont worry we won’t be back and we won’t be telling any of our friends to come back.Good luck outside of covid when everything opens up and you’re not the only venue open!
Super small and the bass was too loud for almost every artist on stage. They also kept walking around with incense which honestly made the place smell worse and caused a lot of us to spend a majority of our time outside the venue.
I was just slippin along, you know just glassin and I was originally looking for a succulent Chinese meal but my local friend Payton Lafferty suggested this place and wow was it amaze! Their cocktail named scrum was so delicious that it wasn’t until someone said hey you have three in you that I was like wow, I’m proud of myself. The overall atmosphere is great, poly/bi friendly so it’s where the dudes are at. I was also lucky enough to be there for a live performance, and even though the act was local I know these kids are going somewhere especially the one who performed the song “Machines Within” which has been stuck in my head for quite sometime now. Anyway, it’s always a good time at Your Mom’s House so try it out.
This place is hella cool got lots of art and good music froom local talent. The beer lisst is small and also pricy for being nearby some other cheap places. Bar and security staff are veery friendly and welcoming though. If your bored and nearby this is a good place for you !
Atmosphere 💯Drinks are great.Love the live music and open area to dance.Sadly the Bar tenders time aftertime are always standoffish. But the enviorment is always so chill .. So You gotta go back.
I was there not too long ago and there was this middle aged man with his snider out waltzing around the place. On top of that I also saw many rat droppings.
Great music, good setup but it’s clear the staff doesn’t want to be there and doesn’t want people there. Sad cause everything else rocks about this place! 🤘
Had never been here but was really surprised. A great small music venue
Every time I come here I feel right at home. I meet the realest people and always make a cool connection or two. The owner is the man and truly cared about the community. If you havent been, I can’t wait for you to try it out
I thought it was great loved the place
Im not really sure what to make of this place other than the fact that I f****** love the name of it. I walked in shortly with my partner to see if they had a late night menu, which I heard they did. There was hardly anyone in the place. Lots of bright lights flashing. A few s*** faced people bumbling around and yelling. The smell of vomit in a corner as we walked out. But I think I want to go back just to see how what its like when its crowded on a weekend. So, the verdicts not out yet.
Great art installations, sound and light systems are very impressive for a venue of this size. Bathrooms are a little gross but the chill laid back atmosphere makes up for it.
Adds a 20% surcharge to all bills. No integrity.
Club double booked an event and wont compensate for cancelling a show where contracts were signed. Do not waste your time with amateur booking agents like the ones who work here.
Finally getting around to checking this place out. Really cool bar. The most handsome bartender. They have margarita on tap. 10/10 would bang again
Went last night to see Dig, a local band. The vibe was chill, we liked that there are 2 rooms, both with bars, so you can move in and out of the show area. Dig was amazing, btw...well definitely be back!
Whoever was running sound on 5/5/21 for the buzz really needs some more practice or classes, worst sound of any show I’ve been to in my lifeEdit: went beck to see high step society, best show I’ve seen in quite some time. Excited to come back and see some exciting acts!
I might be somewhat biased because Im playing at Your Moms House or played at Your Moms House depending on when youre reading this. Your Moms House has turned into the premier spot to see up and coming Denver locals and touring acts. Each month, the calendar at Your Moms House is packed with thick line ups.Your Moms House has a very warm and comfortable atmosphere. There concert floor is separate from the bar so conversation really flows at Your Moms House. Also Your Moms House has darts. I love darts. The only problem I have with Your Moms House is the name. I referred to Your Moms House by name throughout this review just to pound in how fast the joke gets old. They sell merchandise here. Ask yourself, are you really trying to hang out with someone in Your Moms House apparel? What if this becomes Denvers CBGBs? People will be interviewed on documentaries talking about the time they satisfied dozens of people at Your Moms House. Nice. Real nice.Small price to pay for this Denver gem. Shine on you crazy diamonds.
Thank you guys so much for accommodating us old snake pit folks! Was a pleasure to meet you guys! Nice atmosphere, love what youve done with the place! I will be back for sure! -- The Guy blocking the cars with the green Mazda :)
Awesome local venue I had never been to before. Friendly people, hyped up crowd and great music and energy! I’ll be back!
This place has the nicest staff ESPECIALLY BEAU, clean vicinities, and an amazing experience atmosphere for shows. I would recommend to anyone for a great, genuine Colorado experience. DID I MEANTION BEAU
Mad chill bar. Good prices on drinks. You can catch great music here all the time. I love the aesthetic of the place. Its dark but enough light.
Sweet little music venue with someArcade games as soon as you walk in which had me super turnt up! Watched my buddies band perform there fromTexas so that was cool to see they have talent perform from all over!
We randomly came by on a weeknight and had so much fun! The drinks were great, the staff was awesome, and they did a great job keeping everyone safe with the Covid protocols
Dingy place with two sections, one for drinks and one for live music. The two toilets had one without a door and one busted that caused people to walk in. Bartenders were slow to acknowledge, despite minimal crowd early on in the night. May just not be my vibe tho and typical for dive bar scene.
My son was performing KID the Rythmatic, the venue was good drinks were cold. Had a great time
4* because it was my first time there. And might go again. Seems like a good spot to go out with a group. I wouldnt go alone though given the area. But there is local food spots. So Id say its a lit gig!
Staff members a little rude. Sometimes the music is better, usually is not. This is going to sound really hippie but I feel theres a lack of love in the space. Got potential tho.
Super cool place!!! Awesome atmosphere and amazing music/lights. I would love to come back with a group and go wild in here!!! Drinks are expensive af tho
Honestly an amazing music venue and very solid bar. The vibe is always popping here. Good drink prices and great local music. Cant beat the location. Parking honestly isnt too bad.
Venue was great. Had my beer on tap and everyone was courteous and professional. The show for the evening was amazing as well. Highly recommend!!
Great spot away from LoDo to enjoy some great music and drinks! The owner James, manager Tim, and bartender George are awesome! Will absolutely be back
This place is super chill. Light up disco dance floor. Big water cooler to stay as hydrated as you want.
This is my kind of venue. Just the right size, great atmosphere, great crowd in my favorite Denver neighborhood. Pearls is also the best bar in capital hill. Go to both cause they rule
Extremely overpriced, and I attended one of the worst, most unorganized shows I’ve ever been to. The second bar was closed bc someone didn’t show up. Half the bands didn’t show. A short well gin n juice that was mostly juice was $7. A small pbr can was $5. A huge disappointment.
Super cool place to hang out, see a live show and get drinks. Its downtown so everything is within walking distance. You can walk to a food truck or restaurant to sober up after seeing a show.
I was in line for the restroom while others were in the restrooms doing a line if you know what I mean... I am saying that there are people on drugs here. But hey its a good fast bar and open fun place to listen to live music.
Garbage place we had a show last week as the headliners and most people left NO AC, DRINKS STUPID EXPENSIVE 👎🏽👎🏽
Easily one of the best hip-hop shows Ive been to, the crowd had a very live atmosphere and the MCs only got better as the night progressed. Im already looking at when the next event is happening.
This place has come a long way since new ownership. I have been several times and they kill it every time!!! Awesome music! Great artwork! Great people! Looking forward to see what else they come up with!
Wandered in for a dance party and had a fabulous time. This used to be the Snake Pit, which was cool. Your Moms House is cooler.
Amazing venue, crazy cool dancefloor, great customer service and drinks, security was incredible. I definitely had a great time and Ill most definitely be back!
Went here last night and had a wonderful time. I really like the way this venue is set up. It was clean and the staff was friendly as well. Jeans would approve 👍
Music and atmosphere was awesome. Staff was super friendly and nice. I lost my card, and the staff did everything they could to try to help me find it.
This is the first time I have been to your moms house and I was memorized by the dance floor and the mystery vending machines bought two of those guys !!
Just had my first night here. It was amazing! Service was impeccable and beer in cans is only $5! Look forward to come back more often!
Awesome little venue with good drink prices and good music. I would go to another show here. plus you gotta love the name!

10/10 venue, staff are also incredible and the water cups are huge! One of the best venues in Denver 💜
This place is unique. It has the classic bar on one side and a venue on the other through the curtains. The beer on tap was great and so was the bartender.
Incredible venue with fantastic music, top notch sound, atmosphere and staff. Great place to have a great night.
Great venue, clear sound, good select selection
I used to go to the open funk jam it had an awesome crowd and both the bartender and the guy at the door were both professional and friendly. Sad to see the open funk jam go b/c I really enjoyed my time there.
I went for Bollywood night. Felt discrimination. Bouncer will ask you to dance in front of him to let you in.
Its an ok venue. Two of the three playing the night I went were pretty good. Was difficult to get a proper drink. Still fun though. Will go back again soon.
Super cool venue, very friendly staff and bartenders!
Wonderful service very covid friendly, feels nice to be able to reintegrate live music into my world. looking forward to the next performance. everyone was kind and helpful.
Love this place, its a great way to get a couple of drinks with your buds, enjoy music, and even play some darts, bartenders are great people. Best way to spend the night with no worries.
I had an awesome time, i met some cool people here and the DJ was an epic guy, highly recommend
I was not paid for a gig here, artists and locals beware. S k e t c h y!2019 - over $75. Post phish live stream - Im still trying to pull those emails back up for extra quote action.
Awesome atmosphere. Live art, differing local artists, and has that community feel. Great drinks, great people. What more could you want?
Fantastic spot with great energy, the staff is super helpful and attentive. They always have good talent and an amazing setup for new artists.
Theres music played live here by local bands and groups. College students frequent this location. The service is great and its a nice place to meet people.
Maybe it was the day, meaning it wasnt a high traffic night. This place was wheelchair accessible.
I hate giving negative reviews, but between Twista & Kool G Rap theres an unfortunate pattern of headliners not showing up.
Absolutely amazing experience!!
One of the sickest local spots in Denver. A must see stop. Great beers local music. Sexy sexy people and pizza next door.
Love the atmosphere and dance floor. Came for the first time today its a cool vibe
Amazing small venue with lots of local talent. Great for a quick night out to enjoy some live music
Awesome bar and music venue. Had a great time at the open jam. Got to play with some talented people.
Love everything about the place. Great drink selection, great acts coming thru all the time. All around good vibes!
Good place if its crowded. If it isnt, the bar staff really makes you feel like an outsider. Zero effort to build a rapport with potential regulars coming in.
Came for the coast to ghost show! Awesome band, awesome time dancing, the bartenders were great, and drinks were reasonable
