Sunday Latin night was fun. Crowd was vibrant and both drag show & dancers added spark. Bartenders & staff was friendly. Will be going again.

I have spent many years on this dance floor. From a time when we came in the back in the ally.Wether I come alone or with friends this place has an energy that makes you feel as though you in the right place at the right time wherever you are on your journey.The Lesbian community in Seattle does not have a lot of spaces let in Seattle to come and feel as if it is almost all for us. Our own space. So many spaces are now dominated by Gay and Queer males. Mostly White Gay and Queer males. Neighbors has always been that space that Gay and Queer women can go to in any generation and meet and be around other Gay and Queer women.Should this be the time in its journey to shift than I still remain thankful for the time and the friends, and the music and the gogo dancers and the feeling of belonging, and the great memories I will cherish always.

I was there yesterday night planning to have fun, but at the entrance, the security guy was so rude. After he checked my ID and my purse, he asked me to lift my arms and he began to touch me. I felt very uncomfortable but I understand that is part of the job. I really got angry when he asked me to turn around to continue the inspection. I didnt let him to keep touching me. It was too hot and I was wearing a light outfit. Was he trying to find a gun under my bra or under my thong?As transgerder woman that was an awful experience. Finally, I went to Queer bar... a more friendly transgender place.

I visited Seattle for Capitol City Block Party pride. Security guy was over the top checking under my hat twice. I was one of the first 3 people to enter at 9pm Friday.Chappell Roan was performing outside, asked if I could go to the patio, lady said patio was closed. Asked if they could turn the music inside off (with three people inside trying to listen to the outside). Answer was a flat no, with hundreds of people outside that couldve enjoyed a drink or place to sit.Later I decide to go back at 5:30pm, on a Sunday. Patio was open this time...but they had a $15 cover cause there was going to be a pageant at 9pm. Im gay but I guess that doesnt matter? In any case, this place is not very neighbourly.

In the years I’ve been going out on the hill I never went to neighbors, very few people have anything nice to say about so I never bothered checking it out with how options there are within the surrounding blocks. Got invited to meet some friends there last night and was turned away at the door for having a joint in my bag next to my cigarettes. It was odd, but I’m actually glad I was prevented from giving my business to a place with so many terrible reviews. I walked a block and went to have a drink at one of my favorite places I frequent, where I feel welcome and they are sane enough to be unbothered by a little weed. The rumors about this place are true.

I went to the sapphic pride event yesterday and it was truly terrible. From the moment I got in line, the cishet security guards were yelling at everyone and being pushy and demanding for people to open their legs/arms so they could pat them down. I get being security sucks but please stop calling everyone maam when this is a trans+nonbinary inclusive event and yelling (in an aggressive way) when people cant hear you and there is 60 of us waiting in line. I paid $50 for the VIP ticket which promised reserved seating (held all night), free glass of champagne, coat check and free snacks. I got there at 8 pm, the coat check was closed, there was no more champagne or snacks and absolutely no reserved seating. The event was supposed to end at 10pm so I found this absurd. The events music was also advertised as Hip Hop/Pop and Latin. I stayed for an hour and heard only Pop songs with the exception of Lil John. This was such a bummer and non-refundable. Please do better next time :/

My experience here was a mixed bag, but the positive was extremely positive.I LOVED the music, and the dancing was amazing. Definitely the place to just catch a vibe and dance.My friends took me out here for my first night clubbing and we all got pretty drunk, but I was very inexperienced with heavy drinking and I was being swarmed with unwanted attention pretty much the minute I got super drunk. I am so grateful that I chose to do it here, and not some other nightclub, because Sway and Joey and the other security staff made sure I was safe. When a specific guy wouldn’t leave me alone after multiple nos, they took me upstairs and had him removed from the club. I feel embarrassed honestly for getting that drunk but I’m so so grateful to the security staff.Overall I think it’s true that Neighbors’ is struggling with a recent mobbing of guys like that. I was talking to my friend about it who is a regular there. But Neighbors’ has been around for a long time and I doubt this is their first rodeo with this issue. I really appreciate their place in Seattle queer history, and they really do have an amazing atmosphere minus the predators.Femmes: if you need something or feel uncomfortable please just tell security. They are not rude, they get it, and it’s better to get things taken care of sooner than later. It is their job to keep you safe.I will definitely be going back, just drinking way less.

My friends and I were here and I leaned against the small EMPTY stage ONCE my first time and the security came up to me and said “you must not understand English” first off? This is the first time you’ve said anything to me? Second off; and if I DONT speak English? Very derogatory and pointless to say. This place constantly has bad reviews for their bouncers/bartenders and I understand why. If someone were to lean on the stage just say no, don’t make a comment about them not understanding your language. Such weird energy especially for Seattle.

Very predatory vibes from cis-het men here; if you are a femme presenting queer person, this is not a safe space for you. Me and my group of lesbian friends were actively fending off unwanted advances ALL NIGHT and the worst part is none of those men took the No thanks and demanded proper reasonings as to why we were not interested in dancing with them. Not only did I have to repeat the phrase no means no multiples times, none of them seemed to even listen, didnt care at all that they were making us uncomfortable. and when we got security involved because of a drunk harasser, they didnt do anything. Im never returning here and Im disgusted by the vultures that are allowed to prey on women in this environment. Definitely not a queer friendly space.

Come here if you want to get violated by security in the bathroom. Upon waiting in line to use the restrooms I noticed a peeping Tom staff member peaking above and below the restroom stalls at patrons and urging them to hurry up. Everyone waiting in line felt extremely uncomfortable about this.About 1 minute later, a stall opened up and it was my turn. Not 30 seconds into going I had the door kicked in on me TWICE by a second security guard even though I had made it known that the stall was occupied. I felt extremely humiliated and like I had been violated. Later on I found out this had happened to my sister as well, who had entered the bathroom at a separate time. Note: I have never made a complaint at an establishment ever but this situation had me compelled to speak up.When I approached the manager I explained I was hard of hearing and instead got accused of yelling in their face. I was accused 1. Being in a stall with another person (the security footage shows me entering the restroom alone) or 2. Being a drug user. The bar manager then proceeded to bring out the second security staff who began to berate me and yell in face and threatened to kick me out. Overall, I felt like my concerns regarding personal safety were not headed and that this matter was handled unprofessionally. I would not suggest this nightclub to anybody who values their personal safety.

Awesome music and diverse crowd!! Had a great time. Dance floor was packed on Saturday night.

Went for the drag show on Wednesday. Atmosphere was great and everyone was very friendly. Played good music and had people dancing. Flashing strobe lights were intense but fun. Everyone at the show was incredibly talented and the staff were amazing. Bartender was on top of it and was even going around and checking tables for refills. ATM on site and bouncer was patting people down before entry, so felt very safe. I have friends who feel nervous to be in a public gay space and the risk for violence, but this location has taken steps to make it safer for us. Had a great time and will be back!

Chill dancefloor and nice bartender Evan. Safe Queer SpacePlace could use more remixes and producers, DJs, and artists that do more than plan on their basic system. Lets vibe it up more yall

Came here for a sapphic event and the event itself was fun but the neighbors staff were horribly rude, handsy, and just straight up mean. Also, it’s unprofessional to complain about your job to customers… it’s not my fault you chose to be a bouncer?

I have always loved coming here! And I hadn’t been here in the last maybe 4 years? My cousin and I came Friday night and had a blast! The one thing that threw me off tho was the fact that the cover at the door had tip options up to 30% after using a card. Seems kinda scammy! Especially when someone is under the influence. Why am I being prompted to tip after paying a cover charge? When I asked I was told it was the system. But I’ve seen systems just like that and someone physically has to put that option on the device. I get making money but those percentages seemed out of place. Other than that tho everything was cool! The remodel looks fantastic. The vibe was great. We really had a fun cousins night!

When other reviews talk about how men are creepy and it’s not safe there it’s facts. I went out with my friends and this guy violated me and basically SA me and I told security and they were just like well if it happens again let me know like tf this is the type of establishment you are running and people you want at your place.

$10 entry fee, which sucks. AMAZING music with music videos, fun lights, and a welcoming atmosphere! Ordered a shot and because I dont like the taste of alcohol, they mixed some mango in, which was delicious!

Went there on a Thursday, which is apparently a new night for them to be open on. There weren’t a lot of people which makes sense because it’s not listed that they are open that day anywhere online but had a simply fabulous time dancing to 80s and 90s music

To be quite honest, Im hesitant to leave a detailed review after seeing some of the petty responses from the business. All I can say is, heed the warnings from all these bad reviews. As a queer woman, I can say this place is not safe. Staff and security are rude, lots of creepy men and it seems management (as demonstrated below in their comments and by the way they treated us) truly dont care about the safety or well-being of women in their establishment. The music is also not that great. Save your money and find a safer spot to vibe at.

My Partner and I were out scouting venues for our future events and were very impressed by this venue! I was ecstatic to see a Puppy handling the music 😻 He had great taste! Definitely want to come back. We especially loved the upstairs area

Saturday night wasnt the best time to go, with a 10$ cover this was mainly straight women dance night with go go boys and a few strays. It was really nice to dance and hang out. In an effort to keep things under control they probably have to police nights like this to keep out the trouble.The drinks were okay and the music was awesome, very tribal. If you want a Gay Club the vibe is totally there, the only thing missing was a bunch of gay guys.I will be looking at checking out one of their event nights to see of this place plays out.

Staff here has always been great. They have a tough job. If you follow the rules, youll have a great time. Love the upstairs to get away from the crowd, plus theres a bar up there on busy nights that never has a line. Oh, and theres an 18+ club in the basement for the youngins.

The security guys at the door are so rude and condescending and will turn you away even for things like joints in your bag. The club also has a very dark energy overall. I’d much rather go to Massive or Cuff.

I lost my wallet and someone turned it in and neighbors went above and beyond to get it back to me. Such amazing kind hearted people ♥️

Its not worth it if its after 2 am. They wont sell you alcohol so if you still want to party, do not bother paying the cover they charge.. Also, men will be searched more than women, and its a woman writing this, so go do your assumptions

I truly enjoy the atmosphere! Every single one of the bartenders is amazing and truly sweet! I have never had a better night club experience and will definitely be returning the next time I return to Seattle!

The security guards at Neighbors are downright incompetent and insulting. I had a scary and humiliating experience where I was dancing with my friend when a guy out of nowhere violated me and treated me like an object. We brought a security guard to him and his friend to kick them out, but he just let them stay and walked away. We told another security guard about the situation, and he just said “if you feel unsafe then you can leave”. We of course understand the risks taken when going out as women, but security not handling a serious problem of safety (that could have been easily resolved) and belittling the victim is unacceptable.Until their toxic mindsets and practices are corrected, you should not go here.

Drinks are great, staff is friendly and space is huge! Depending on the night it can be lots and lots of fun and eye candy!!

Its really upsetting finding out so many clubs in seattle are run by people who are against the local community. including the people who run this establishment, they do not respect the entertainment to say the ABSOLUTE least. the seating the really awkward. this is the kind of place you pay cover at and leave within 30 min.

We came here twice on the same Saturday night, hoping that the atmosphere/crowd would change, but it just didnt. For an LGBTQ+ club theres an incredible amount of rude, disrespectful men trying to grope women and pull them around. The music and amount of people didnt even make it worth fighting these guys to stay. Dont bother coming here on a Saturday night I guess

I just have to say that I absolutely love Neighbors it has been my absolutely favorite bar since I turned 21 and could actually go into clubs... Its the only club/bar that Ive ever felt safe to totally be myself and knew absolutely no one cared. What a refreshing feeling at a club! I did want to comment on a post a woman posted below about being angry that she couldnt buy alcohol after 2 a.m. even though Neighbors is open till 4... Duh alcohol is not sold anywhere in Washington state after 2 a.m. its the law you cant go to a grocery store a 7-Eleven or anywhere and buy alcohol after 2 a.m. Hello! I mean can you really fault Neighbors for not breaking the law... When its you that needs to get a clue?

Dj selection is a hit and miss.Bartenders get mad if you pay cash even though they tell you a price, they yell at you to tip since this apparently pays the “taxes” on drinks they make. Just tell the whole price including tax or don’t accept cash at all.

Seems like it could be fun BEFORE 2 AM. But after 2 am they don’t sell liquor and they don’t tell you that at the door. So you pay the $20 cover and with them knowing you can’t purchase alcohol, and they don’t even warn you at the door about that. So you pay $20 to get in to purchase water, Red Bull, or something else (I don’t remember). This is after 2 am. So, if you’d like to go and purchase a $4 water after 2 am… this is the place to go.

Tonight was the first night I had ever gone to Neighbours and my whole party enjoyed it! We got there super early but we enjoyed just hanging out until more people showed up.As we waited and chatted, Evan was SO NICE. He brought us waters, talked with us, and my group said that he really started the night on such a good note. I didnt get a chance to interact with the other bartender working but she had a friendly and helpful demeanor.Overall this was a great place and my friends are now wanting to plan another time to come back!

Came on a Saturday night and waked in excited by the music and LGBTQ+ scene, but once we got in the crowd we found that it was full of disrespectful men following and grabbing women around the club. Ive never experienced that level of hostility at a club before, we were shocked.

I was treated very poorly/disrespectfully by a staff member here for no apparent reason (other than maybe he was having a bad day… 🤷🏻‍♀️) Definitely won’t ever be going back. Not cool to treat people like that

First, I left a personal review of my experience, I am unable to comment on the separate reviews left by others (I am not impersonating anyone, in fact, you can check your records to verify I and 2 guests were there on 1/15/2023 between 2:00am - 3:30am). However, my review is connected to Lori Croft, who went with me. I witnessed many instances of predation by male patrons, and the lack of visible security that could deter such behavior. I am also very disappointed that your response is hostile towards those reporting unsafe conduct and personal, vile assaults. You shamelessly gaslight and invalidate your violated guests and shame them when reporting their traumatic experience. Shame on you for not protecting your guests, but rather protecting your revenue.We do not advise females to visit Neighbors, as our experience shows an unsafe environment, then you will shamed, gaslit and invalidated afterwards.

My first time in this club AND THE LAST ONE.A club that takes advantage of costumers and members of the LGBTQ Community charging twice my drink “by accident” they said and the bartender at the bottom (the bold one) say to me“ oh that happens when you don’t leave TIP”But with that behaviour I prefer to give my TIP to a club that don’t do those tricky things.BE CAREFUL IF YOU COME TO THIS PLACE, ASK FOR YOUR Receipts, AND check your bank account , I’m glad I did it, from pay $30 to pay $70 that’s the new wey that they stole money taking advantage of Cliend that do not check what they’re paying.

Walked in, paid my cover and got a drink with two other people. Within five minutes was approached by security and told we had to leave with no explanation despite asking for one multiple times. He repeatedly said “I’m just doing my job and was told I had to take you out.” I did not have time to do anything wrong. I’m just confused and embarrassed. Also out $30 for our covers without being told why we had to leave. Not a fan of how whatever could’ve possibly went wrong was handled, but I genuinely have no idea what the issue was.

I convinced 20+ women to continue their night at Neighbors after Wild Rose closed for the night. I wanted to give neighbors another chance after two previous negative experiences, but after tonight I will not be returning and will be encouraging others in my social circle to not support the business because I do not believe they have the best interests of their customers at heart.When I asked the bar tender for water because a random girl by herself was too drunk and needed water, I was told I could buy a plastic water bottle. When I asked it be given just a glass of tap water, I was told not that it is against the bars policy to provide free water. I asked for an empty cup to fill it myself from the sink, and was told no.A bar that tells a Parton no when asking for water is not a place that deserves repeat business. If it is one bad employee, they should be retrained. If it is a bar policy, it needs to be examined. Multiple other states have laws requiring that an establishment provided free access to water if they serve alcohol. That Washington doesn’t is simply an oversight. Or maybe Washington doesn’t believe they need to write a law to assure such m a basic level of human decency as a glass of water that this bar tender almost seemed proud to deny.Is neighbors going to wait until it is required by law to treat their customers right? When water costs then nothing more than washing a glass?Edit: unsurprising to receive a response to this review that can be summed up by “tough luck, you can’t always get what you want. Be a customer with no needs”.After my two other negative experiences, one of which was ALSO being told the only water options was to buy water, was denied being given a glass at 10 pm during service hours, I did speak with the staff. Didn’t post online, calmly brought it up to employees. I received a brush off in line with the spirit of your whole response, which is you don’t really care about the customer experience because you have a captive audience of being one of the few locations open that late, and the amount that you do care stops at the line where your legal liability is.And the other people behind me at the bar? Were there with me, and were also shocked by the bartender’s response(edit 2:“bartender’s possessive “s” not plural. Singular bartender, not making anything up). We have spoke about it today, gone over the details of just how ridiculous the situation was. I did not start with a debate around the legalities, I started with a respectful request for water, and when I was denied asking for a different accommodations to fill the same need. The bartender in particular seemed immediately annoyed.As for our shared friend, although she is a funny, kind, wonderful blessing from the angels, she’s also 22 years old and lacking in the life experience to know that she could even expect more from a bar than what she receives at Neighbors.I’m sure this edit probably won’t even be read, I’m sure you are so immersed in the “it’s us versus them“ or “the side of the bar versus that“ mentality that is drenched in every sentence of your response, that you won’t even try to see how a simple jug of water on the corner of the bar could wildly improve the experience and safety of your customers.

I love this place, the sapphic events are great..but I feel extremely unsafe there. I was SAed by a male on the dance floor (I present fem). When my partner told security, he said there was nothing he could do.In a place where queer people are supposed to feel safe its disgusting that were treated like this.

I have an urge to report this place. I was minding my own business in the stalls and a security guard had the nerve to look over at me (pants off) and ask if I had drugs on me. I don’t do any drugs and was extremely uncomfortable that staff saw me doing my business. That is beyond invasive. This is not ok.

I went here once and will NEVER be returning and I suggest no one come back to the place. The security treated me and my friend horrible and were extremely RACIST. I was peaking in Spanish to my friend and he told me to stop speaking different language because it was disrespectful to him... as a young latina women I was mortified and scared of this man (the head of security). He then yelled at me for not being in single file line against the wall. I was just standing next to friend talking to her. He pulled us out of line and lectured at us by screaming at us for ten whole minutes. I was crying because he was so mean, and he just kept having this power complex. The women security were very aggressive too and touched me really inappropriately. I was super uncomfortable. I am a 52 24 year old girl and they were treating me like I was their prison inmate. He made us redo the line and said we could not speak at all or he would not let us in. We paid the cover and got in and it was basically empty. There were tons of creepy men. I will never go here again. save your time and money and go to Q club or rhino room. I was literally scared that the security were going to hurt me. I left in tears and in a ruined birthday. Cannot believe the racism I experienced. Only reason I put up with it is because I had some friends already inside. My white friends did not have an issue but the latino ones like me also had issues with the security. I was disgusted by their behavior. I can see now why its empty and they only let creepy men inside.

Came on a Friday night. Cover was $15 per head. The atmosphere was pretty good, with enough people to get it going without it getting stuffy. Drinks were also good, but a bit pricey. Overall a good experience. Just wished theyd played more recent and diverse music.

Friend and I went out last minute for some fun and we had a great time! We went out Saturday and the music was excellent and it had quite the crowd (and no creeps!!) Good enough well cocktails too.

Evan the Bartender is why I’m giving this place 5 stars! He was so so sweet and helpful I can’t even begin to explain. My friends and I are beyond appreciative for what he did for us. Genuinely cannot thank him enough, absolutely great person, the only reason I will go back! Thank you!

I loved this place. Had never been to a club before. Just moved to the area and went to the 2-4 a.m. since I’m 18. Had the best time. Music was great and you guys had a really solid environment. Might have been my first time but won’t be my last. Appreciate all you guys do :)

Great bar service from all bartenders, but especially from Evan. When the security unfairly kicked out half of our group, Evan sorted it out and made sure our group wasn’t split up. The customer service from most of the staff was very nice overall, with the only exception being the security.

1st they have to forcefully take away drinks from you by 2am is the law. 2nd mask on indoor places also is the law. 3rd I’m sure at your work place you follow company rules and that’s exactly what neighbors employee ask to follow. I always have ton of fun when I visit neighbors! Super safe place to dance your night away! Go Saturday night, Randy is the best DJ in Seattle!!!

Just like someone else reported, had the bouncer look over the stall as I was peeing. Was told by Jack Mozie who would sing there on occasion that they have cameras in the bathrooms! Hope this isn’t true!!!

Great atmosphere! Bouncer was friendly enough, we got there a bit after they opened up on a saturday so it started up a little slow but picks up midnight and after. Songs were poppin. Drinks were a bit spendy but they pour pretty heavy too. Had a great time groovin with a friend. I will comeback for sure!

I’d give 0 stars if I could. I dropped my sister and her friends here since we are semi regulars there. But I was informed after that my sister and her friends were kicked out after a drunk girl stole her fan from her. Security sided with the drunk girl and didn’t even attempt to get to the bottom of it. I will NEVER allow her or her friends safety to be jeopardized again.

Security is horrible so we left. My friends had went in line while I ran across the street for some food real quick. As soon as I got back, the security guards starting yelling at me for having food while standing on the SIDEWALK. I hadnt even decided if I was going to wait in line yet, and they were yelling at me. They continued to yell at me and then shifted focus to the rest of the line to have everyone stand in single file. So I decided to leave, and as I was hugging my friends goodbye another security guard walked up to me and yelled at me in my face. So I yelled back Im leaving and we left. I couldnt have been there more than 2 minutes. Would never waste another second there.

Bartenders are great, Security is friendly, and I always have a great time. I love the dance floor! A better lounge and less aggressive straight men would make this place better.Only thing keeping it from 4 stars is how NASTY the place is. The floor looks Silent Hill inspired and the bar smells like mildew.

Went there for the Halloween weekend. It was fantastic. Great atmosphere for dancing. Love the music!!

This club has so much potential, but the music is just so bad. This first time I went the music was terrible. I attempted to give the club another chance but it’s just not it. A lot of people were trying to dance and have fun but most just ended up standing in one spot a majority of the time waiting for a good song to come on. Darn.

I had fun dancing and drinking. But got kicked out for drinking on the dancefloor. I get it. Also the floors were sticky as heck. This was when it opened. It had just been opened and nothing was clean. They over talking about keeping your mask on yet asking for vaccine but many things are dirty and unsanitized.Edit: Talk about petty. No I dont need a job at your krusty klub. (club) Good luck having people come here after they read your reply. And by the owner wow. Sounds like this club isnt the vibe anymore. Been twice, once on a Tuesday and once on a Saturday, and had a blast both times. The music is always fun, the staff is always a delight, and the drinks are fast and tasty. Shout out to my favorite bartender Drew!

Came highly recommended by some locals! Honestly the place was happening, but kinda creepy! We were in Seattle from out of town for a bachelorette party. All the bride wanted to do was find a good place to dance. This seemed like the place. It was super busy and had that dance club vibe. Tons of fun I guess, but as we were dancing a group of men surrounded us, groped some of us, and made it hard to leave. Not sure what that was about! Then right as we left a crazy fight broke out and a bunch of cops showed up. Not what we are used to, thats for sure! Have fun here but stay aware and stay safe!

EXTREMELY RACIST AND RUDE STAFF : WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFEI had one of the worst experience of my life at this place and I would never recommend this place to anyone.I was having a good time dancing and a random guard came over, grabbed me and accused me of stealing. He then pushed me towards the exit and said I was going to jail. I then asked him what I was accused of stealing and he said $3. I offered to just pay him the 3$ and leave. He then said people like me needed to have morals and decency. If the manager hadnt interfered, I would have called the cops.I would never again go even near this place again and wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

We walked around club and tried to enjoy the place for about fifteen minutes, but couldnt indulge in the idea of a bar without drinks (no one would).My suggestion: Tell the doorman to notify people entering that they have stopped serving. He was on his smartphone when we walked up (he knows the time or can set an alarm).Bad manners at this place. I cannot recommend.

The place gets more crowded as they take drinks out of your hands and youre not allowed to drink anymore, after 2am. They literally pulled my drink out of my handed I was drinking it. Be prepared with LOTS of drugs or come early. I just need to remember to never come back again. (Also, not cleaning up the puke in the bathroom? Not ok. Not normal.)

Neighbors used to be my place to go out before COVID. After they reopened, they changed management, and things changed for the worst. Security is constantly stalking and harassing fully vaccinated customers, threatening to kick them out for not having masks while drinking (sorry my mask doesn’t have a hole to drink and be masked at the same time). I want to support a local business, but it’s impossible to have a good time here. Just try somewhere else.

The bouncer is one amazing woman. She didn’t let anyone harass us when we were smoking, she stopped that nonsense real quick. The front bartender is spectacular as well!!!

Evolved over the years and stood the test of time. Most the bartenders are pretty nice folks and poor a stiff drink. You wont have to ask for more liquor too often! Dance floor is large, club is spacious. Clientele is definitely mixed leaning from gay to heavily str8 some nights. Music is top 40, c89.5 type music. No guest DJs or any type of promos worth visiting but the place is consistent always.

Both the female workers were very rude. If it was possible I would give them zero stars. Stressing for no reason. Made it hard for me and my girls to enjoy our night out

Well.. Had a horrible experience.. Neighbord was hosting a Pride concert on August 20th. I bought 4 vip tickets for myself, my friend, my sister and her friend. As one of our good friends was performing that night and we wanted to surprise him with showing up to support him. Mind you before purchased these tickets, i was informed it was for all ages as our friend is under 21 and was performing so naturally he thought it was an all ages event.When we looked at the night clubs website no where was it stated that it was a 21+ venue or event, no where was it stated on the promoters website was it a 21+ event and no where on our tickets did it state it was a 21+ event. Needless to say when we got to the club my sister ( who is 20), was denied entry to see her friend perform and was ultimately humiliated infront of a dozen or so people as we were VIPs and at the front of the line. I was furious and spoke to the promorters mother and all we got for the total of $260 dollars was a decent meal of buttered chicken and a 5 minute limo ride and an Im sorry. I was planning on taking my sister here for her 21st in a few months, but i think i will treat her do Julias on Broadway instead as they actually care about their customers. After reading the reviews of this horeis club I am glad we did not go in, its unsafe and outrageously priced for drinks. To any of my LGBTQIA brothers and sisters, do not go to this club.

This place seems like a great spot for the GLBT. Great music. Awesome bartenders. Good vibe. Its a great place for the GLB but if you are part of the T you better be prepared to leave that on the dance floor before you go into the bathroom. Im trans. I was having a great time. Enjoying myself. I only get 1 weekend off a month. I went to use the bathroom. As I went to leave I tipped the Restroom Attendent as it is customary where I come from. The only girl in there that did and here comes the best part. The Bathroom Attendant said Thank You Brother!!!!! Brother? I am a woman. Do I look like a Brother? Thank you for ruining my night. I left with tears in my eyes. Ill never go back to this place again. So if you do go here and youre part of the T prepare to have your dignity stolen from you while youre in the bathroom.

The long haired blonde door guy is unnecessarily rude even if you have a stamp. As a bar that prides itself on being queer friendly, I was extremely dismayed to be treated the way I was by the doorman. I blatantly had a stamp and he repeatedly told me to leave the establishment. Neighbors is NOT gay friendly. If you want a safe place for queer people you are better off at rebar or R place.

Edit: considering how you have to respond to peoples reviews I didnt feel comfortable leaving a detailed response. But I will give you 5 stars for the interesting read. You dont really seem like the type of people to bend over backwards for anyone. Quite frankly, you seem very insecure. Good luck with that in the future! Toodles!

Although I love the staff here (they always treat me like a princess), I cant hang with the C89 DJ thing. The music is just annoying. Everything else though, no complaints, so if generic house music and electronica remixes of top-40 stuff is your thing, have at you.

Hella rude. At 1:58 am the bartender took my friends full drink that she just paid $9 for and dumped it without offering her the chance to chug it. I tried getting a refund for the drink and the bartender Joe threatened to have us ejected for asking for a refund. Never supporting this business again. You cant just steal money from people. Its not okay. All of my friends from tonight feel disrespected by this establishment and my friends arent easy to offend. Learn some humanity and customer service. I will make sure i cost you guys money by spreading the truth about your club until you make amends for this wrongdoing.

I bought a VIP ticket for the Bob the Drag Queen and Thorgy Thor show and it was definitely money very very badly spent. Im 7 months pregnant and wanted to have a fun night with friends before my son Tor is born, however, the venue sucked the fun out of the event. The VIP tickets gave us access to the balcony but even then we couldnt see that well unless you were able to be at the front of the balcony due to the the amount of disco balls (which I normally adore blocked the view). The line for the meet and greet was terrible and not to mention that one had to line up twice to meet Bob The Drag Queen and Thorgy Thor at two separate times. I left once I saw the line to meet Thorgy Thor because I just couldnt bare to stand for that long. I will not be attending anymore events at Neighbors, which is too bad because I love to support queens that are local and nationally renowned and I like tip each queen at least $10-20...but how is a woman to do that from a balcony and endless lines?????

We purchased 4 vip ticket to a event. Tickets included dinner and limo ride to the club. After eating with one of the planners we show up at the club. We stand waiting past the 7 pm start time and when the start carding us one of the people in the group was under 21. Serval people behind us that bought ticket already was under 21. After searching the websites of both neighbors and the promoter we can find nothing saying 21 and over. Even we the ticket was bought it didnt ask us. Dont think there is a sign at the door. Total money lost including taking a cab to be safe, $280.

Its always nice to go on because its packed with people and there is lots of drinks but it gets kinda boring if you basically play the same songs over and over. I would like to see a switch up! Other than that its a great place to go!

Had a great time, the last time I was there. A must try at least once, whether youre straight or gay. After 2:00am it is open to anyone 18 and up and is a crowded place. Go with an open mind and have a good time.

I came out for Talent Tuesdays and it was an EXCELLENT variety show! Incredible performers, wonderful atmosphere & Im definitely going back because everyone there is super cool!!

This place is a joke! First of all the dj has not idea what music is and neither do most the people the work in or go to this horrible bar! And will someone please hand out a fashion magazine to over half the gay community in Washington! I spent a good percent of my gay life in lil Ohio and our clubs and bars are way more advanced than here! And over half the lgbtq in Ohio have some serious taste in clothing! I could provide better music from my phone and laptop and a better light display with a freak disco ball and colored flash lights! Lol the only awesome thing Ive seen here so far lgbtq was pride!

BEWARE. My friend and I BOTH got our credit cards and IDs stolen from this place. Seems like a likely place for pickpocketers to go. We had our purses with us the entire time! Just be aware of your surroundings!

We just moved here from Los Angeles and on latin night Sunday the door man is so rude..We did not know my partner needs his passport to enter..And the doorman did not care and told us to leave...Never in all my life have I been so disgusted with a nightclub as this...The worst expierence ever and the doorman treated us like garbage...Spend your money elsewhere..

Lady at the front door told us there were tons of people inside. Friday night and it was empty. Asked for our money back seconds later and she told us no refunds. Never going back, dead nightclub
