Simply Beautiful Day Spa is delightful. I went here for mothers day with my mother and sisters. We felt an immediate sense of relaxation the minute we walked in the door. Gabby greeted us right away and was a delight to be around. She helped us get checked in for our salt therapy and offered us refreshments as we waited for the current group to finish up. The salt therapy room is utter tranquility. There is no other way to describe it. All of us were going through some deep emotions this week and going into the salt room not only helped open up our sinuses but decompressed a lot of stress this week. I was very impressed. Cannot wait to return & try other services! Thanks for having us!

I’m giving 3 stars because staff was friendly and nice. I got a pedicure and manicure. The person doing my pedicure was very sweet and kind, but when she was using a tool to shave the calluses on my foot, she was very aggressive to the point it was painful and cut the side of my foot causing bleeding. She advised me to put my foot in the pedicure bath which I did, I shouldn’t have done this as there’s a greater chance of causing infections. Some powder that stops bleeding was put on my foot but no bandage was offered. For the next few weeks I’ve had to clean my wound and put antibiotic cream on while worrying about possible infection, I even had to take a break from my usual exercise routine because it would reopen the cut. Now there is a pretty nasty scar. I didn’t bring up this issue at the time because I didn’t want to be difficult, but I don’t think it’s fair that I spent my money on services that left me scarred and in pain.

I am updating my review because the spa moved and I was finally able to check the place out last week and I was so happy I took the time to check out the new place. After 7 years they still deserve 5 stars and from the photos you can see how amazing the place looks. Every single staff member I come in contact with offers help and a smile, you always feel welcomed and a valued guest. I took some time to check out the salt cave and look forward to giving it a try, the walls look so neat. Yes, there are many places you can go to get a service done, but the environment I feel makes all the difference in my experience so I would suggest treating yourself to a service and give them a try. Also in the season of CV19 they have great measures in place to make sure that all regulations are met and you feel comfortable in a clean environment. Thank you for the extra hard work because it helps me feel normal during a unnormal time

The facials are top tier! My skin has never looked so clear. I would highly recommend simply Beautiful! I now have a monthly facial and I look forward to it each month. Relaxing environment and very friendly staff.

You must get a facial with Nicole West! I followed her to this spa and it was well worth it. The European facial was excellent. Nicole explained the products she was using and what it was doing for/to my skin. My skin is so beautiful! The place is cozy, clean, and has such relaxing vibes you will begin to relax as soon as you change into the robe they give you. They have a Salt Room that I must check out and you can have your nails and toes done a this spa!

The facility itself was nice, but the facial I got seemed to be much too intense for my skin. I told her I wanted to find out what skin type I have, how to treat the little breakouts and fine lines I have, but mostly that I was there for relaxation. It’s been 4 days since my facial and I still have dark spots, little scabs from where she broke the skin trying to “extract”, and what seems like the onset of scarring. All of which I’ve never had before.There was no instruction given on how to prevent the dark spots or scarring and I certainly didn’t ask for that much extraction considering I was looking for a little guidance and an overall relaxing appointment. I thought I was fine after the appointment, but my face was red, puffy, and actually in pain for two days following. Fingers crossed my skin goes back to normal in the near future.

I had a very good experience at this spa. Ask for Tony as he gives a GREAT massage and is very personable. Next time Id just focus on the massage. The salt room is relaxing and interesting but dont need to do that twice. Enjoy!!!

I saw Nicole yesterday for my first hydra-cloud facial and she did not disappoint. The cloud mask itself feels so invigorating. Her technique was fluid and the pressure for the facial massage was on point! I literally left glowing, and the best part is that this morning my skin is still so hydrated and has such a natural glow. Obsessed!

I saw Alicia G for a pedicure and it was the BEST pedicure I’ve ever gotten! She was soo thorough and detailed, with a gentle touch. She was very warm and friendly, and made the experience just wonderful. I highly recommend Alicia G for a pedicure!-Maria Pentassuglia

Ive gotten only mani and pedis here and I will keep going back. The aestheticians here take the time to do things right and you dont feel like their primary goal is to finish you quickly. They take a lot of time and care in clean up your cuticles and my skin feels nourished after. Both aestheticians who have worked on my nails have been with this spa for many (6-8) years and I think that speaks volumes on how they are treated and how they treat clients. Conversely, if you go to May other nail salons, there seems to be high churn within the staff so repeat/loyalty to one person is more difficult. I want to try massages next and maybe facials at some point as well. Be sure to book an appointment which is available online but the tool is really cumbersome so I would suggest calling instead. Tip is done via Venmo to the person that worked on you directly.

I had an incredible massage with Aleena. She is a gem of a person and has a real gift. The massage far exceeded my expectations. It was therapeutic and personally tailored to me. She treats the whole person and not just the muscle area. I was left wowed by my experience and am looking forward to coming back soon.

Fabulous day spa! The ambience is stellar, and I really like sitting in either the peaceful serenity room or the bright and cheerful waiting area, when I give myself enough time ahead of my service. I have been a client for years, and Ive never had a less than stellar experience.

Pros: Nice decor, receptionist was nice enough, the facial was great, everything was on time, everyone asked questions about what I wanted, offered water after each service and there didnt seem to be a ton of clients in the building at once.Cons: Robes werent the best coverage. Thank goodness for the cover while getting a massage. The room to change and to shower has no lock. Guess going to the bathroom could be an option but showering only happened in the unlocked room. The massage was not great. No conversation was held but just made comments about how glad they were I was there and asking for reassurance every 5 minutes literally. Spent a lot of time rubbing on my hips. I did not say they were a trouble spot. The spot i did say be careful of due to previous damage, they kept touching it. No real pressure. I have seen others comment on the odd massage and I agree. It was on the verge of creepy.Overall, still on the search for a good day spa. Not very relaxing day. I wont be returning unless its just for a facial.

Been coming here for quite a long time : ) I was just in this past Saturday with Tony ( I requested him from a previous massage ) and he does such a great job!!! I highly recommend him and the Himalayan massage was fantastic never had one before and will defiantly have another in the future! Everyone here is so nice the place is very clean and havent ever had an issue of getting in. If you are looking for a treat yo-self day this is the place to go!

Amazing day from start to finish! Kiesha at the front desk was so attentive, friendly and helpful. She definitely made our experience even better!! Had a wonderful first experience here. There was a small issue with my booking and Ana handled it gracefully, making my session complimentary due to the mix up. The space is soothing and peaceful, can’t wait to come back for some more pampering.

This place is a BEAUTIFUL hidden gem in Ogden in Downers Grove. I was wowed from the stunning front lobby. I was lucky to be paired with massage therapist - Tony. He recognized my needs as an athlete and a business woman and also had the kind of energy that comes from a seasoned therapist that loves his job. The Himalayan Salt Rock felt so soothing with the minerals and the heat but like an extension of his hands. I’ll be back to see him ALOT! My body feels amazing. They have an entire huge menu of services I can’t wait to try. Thank you.

Every service I have received has been perfect. The facials are the best and I love pevonia the skin care line!!! The massages are super relaxing and now with the salt cave its a perfect relax place post massage and the manicures and pedicures are a perfect way to finish my mommy alone time. I love this place!!!

Best pedi ever!!! Yea, I’m a guy who gets pedicures. I couldn’t recommend this spa more! The foot-massage included in the pedi is fantastic!

Today’s my birthday so my hubby treated me to a Massage and Pedi I cannot say enough good things about the lady that gave me the massage she was amazing!!! Very sweet got in all the areas I asked about I’ll be back soon for another one with her. However the foot pedicure was disappointing, I paid like $48 buck to sit there for 30 mins which was ok but it said a 20 minute foot massage I got about 2 minutes. Not one scrub was done on my feet just lotions, a heat wrap and soak. I feel like it is dead skin that needs to be scrubbed off and for $48 that should be included. I felt like the lady that did them was ok but not very interested in doing my feet. She rushed the job. The polish looked nice and thankfully I get my feet done every two weeks but for $128 altogether that turned me off. I won’t be back for a pedicure but I will be for a massage.

Simply Beautiful Day Spa is a suburban oasis of luxury! It is a pleasure for me to be a monthly regular. I have enjoyed amazing massages, wraps, manis, pedis, and facials. My monthly facial is with Maggie and she is awesome! Maggie performs a close inspection of the skin to determine which products are most beneficial. From beginning to the heavenly head, neck and shoulder massage, culminating in a custom mask and nap time, this facial is perfection! I highly recommend Simply Beautiful to everyone!

Tony B is the most amazing deep tissue massage around. He is very friendly and provides tremendously professional service. Would highly recommend and I will be returning.
