Ive been getting my nails done here for a while, stop visiting between covid time but on my recent visit they were wonderful yet again. They are very skilled when it comes to designs.I love how my nails came out beautiful!! In price, they are a whole lot cheaper compared to other salons in Jackson Heights. I definitely recommend this place for acrylic nails!

We had a very bad experience today. 🤬 I was with my friends for gel manicure but the lady who did on my friends was worst. She did the extension and had a very bad experience. The gap between cuticle and nails was too far but also she didn’t say anything, but her way of doing Polish was worst than that,it wasn’t smooth and when she talk with the technician she was arguing not accepting her fault and so we talk with the manager to change the technician but he wasn’t helpful too and we cancel it. This is the first and last coming here.

Giving this establishment a 2 - star, only because the Hispanic pedicure ladies are super nice! If you do decide to endure attitude and bad business practices by coming to this place, make sure you get your pedi done by Nellie or Lordes. Besides that, the owner is very rude and lazy, theres always a certain energy about him when you come into the salon, he acts like he doesnt want to be there. My last time going to this salon! Lady doing my nails, had an attitude when I asked for a different polish. She didnt respect me as a customer and was super aggressive. Take your business across the street ladies, PLAYA NAIL SPA across the street is so much better with amazing customer service.

Toda was my first time going there and I hate how my nails came out. I made an appointment and they made me wait so long. The women who did my nails was rude and she was doing my nails so hard. The nails came out so bad and I know for sure I’m never coming back here. I’ll show you what I asked for and what I got

First time at this nail salon and I was highly disappointed. To start off, the total time for a pedicure and acrylic nails took approximately 5 hours, as I had to wait for an available nail technician to complete each service. While doing the pedicure, a customer made a complaint to the manager about the uv gel pedicure she had done smudging immediately after putting her shoes on. The manager did not accommodate to the customers complaint and was going to charge her to re-do the service. The customer left in such distressed. The pedicure service was not the greatest.Then working on my acrylic nails, the nail technician was applying the acrylic incorrectly and was rushing the whole entire time. Towards the end, the nail technician was in that much of a rush that she did not allow for the gel color to dry completely. So, this is how my nails looked just after one week of going to their salon. I would highly advise for those interested in doing acrylic nails with great customer care to go else where.

I get the spa pedicure with the 10 minute massage and it’s been pretty great 👍🏻 besides the cucumber/lemon scent, there are additional scents with the $38 package. 10/10 on the pedicures✨👏🏻

The owner Mary was disorganized and unclean, while the technician at a different place was highly professional and provided great service for my SNS nails.

I went to get my nails done yesterday without a problem and I asked the nail tech for a simple design. A SIMPLE DESIGN! She looked at me as if she didn’t know what I was talking about. Then I realized they didn’t have any of the nail art polish like the other salon and they were going to charge me 2 for $5.I won’t be going here anymore.

The service and the lady technician were unprofessional and rude. Today we had very bad experience we ever felt. It was my first time visiting there but the way they treat with the customer is worst.🤬🤬🤬

Ive went here for years but Im never going there again cause this is my 2nd time getting an infection in my nail. Then, one person did my hands and another did my feet. They made me pay both people a tip, when it should be one person who does both your feet and nails, not nice at all. On top of that, when you go in and have an appointment already, they make you wait like 20 minutes because they dont have enough workers.

I had a pedicure and eyebrows waxed on Saturday, June 3rd. They can’t seem to have experienced workers that can perform both services, so one lady did my pedicure and someone else did my eyebrows. Paid for my services and tipped the lady who did my pedicure $5…as I was leaving a man, whom I never seen before, stopped me asking if “everything was okay” I was caught off guard…said yes and he said “you didn’t tip for the eyebrows”! Totally humiliating and embarrassing in the open for everyone to hear. He was totally unprofessional and not the intelligent way to treat or approach your customers! I would never purposely skip on a tip. But guess what…you have now lost a customer! My suggestion to you “Manager” Get yourself, URGENTLY NEEDED, management training skills!!

Female workers are very rude, rough and not polite at all and at the end of the service are demanding 15% of tip! Not even asking, demanding because it was rough for her to do a French tip!its nice salon but unfortunately only the male workers are nice

I’m honestly shocked by all the negative reviews, but to be fair, I’ve only come here for pedicures. The Hispanic nail techs who do my pedicures do a wonderful job and are a pleasure to talk to. The salon is clean and they’ve been accommodating since I always call last minute, close to closing due to my schedule. For pedicures I’ll continue coming back.

I went there twice and did my mani and pedicure. The people are so rude and trying finish everything so fast that there are 100 customers waiting. I had done acrylics and went there again to do it again. My god the lady was taking out my nails in such hurry and I was feeling pain. I told her do it slowly and you hurting me. But she doesn’t care. I mean you have to be polite and do everything nicely. I don’t recommend anyone to go there. My sister also have a bad experience going there. Seriously, the owner should hire some polite staff.

I told the owner that I am a hand model, my nails need to be up to date and clean. I had one of the workers take off the wrap around my nail and he took off so much that now my nail bends completely. This is the third time I have this type of bad experience with them. The first and second time they cut my finger, did not do an excellent job but had to return twice because the Job wasnt done correctly. THEY ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE but that is not enough.

Please DON’T ever do your nails here!! NEVER!This is the worst place I’ve ever done my nails.- They hurted my cuticles, they were bleeding.- They did everything in a rush and forced me to give them tips.- My manicure lasted one day, the gel came off the day after.- I came back to complain about it, they yelled at me, and she was taking my fingers so strong!!!! they even charged me extra moneyIt was such a terrible experience! I am so disappointed to have spent 30 dollars here! So not worth it! I waisted my money.

While my pedicure was the best part of my experience here, the removal of my acrylic nails was not. She cut them down as per usual first and instead of soaking them and then filing them away SHE TOOK OUT A METROCARD AND STARTED POPPING THEM OFF! I know this is not how youre supposed to remove acrylic nails. My fingers still hurt as Im typing this. I will never come back here again. Even for a decent pedicure. Totally turned off. She kept saying different prices too and just kept trying to upsell me. Very unprofessional. It was like she couldnt take no for an answer.

Ive noticed they tend to treat Hispanic women poorly compare to other clients. We were told a price for mani&pedi and it turns out they charged $6 more for a certain Essie nail polish type which we didnt know prior. Including the nail tech who picked the nail polish because the one I had was too clear didnt know the extra charge. I kept telling them I didnt know and they just wanted me to pay it. Then we noticed that they rushed us but took their sweet time with other customers although they were just getting pedicure. They asked my daughter to leave because of covid 19 policy but she didnt even get to dry her nails properly.

This is the absolute WORST WORST WORST nail salon. The owner cut all of my cuticles to the point of bleeding. And I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did the absolute worst and they look terrible. The owner is an so mean and is the worst at doing nails. She yells at her employees and isn’t ment for doing this DONT GO HERE AT YOUR OWN SAKE. If you do decide to go here go only to the male worker HES the only one who will get ur nails done well.

Make sure they dont trick and overprice you.They use expensive products without you telling them, just to over price you at the end of the service . I got a short French tip set worth 35 to at least 40$ to be charged 85$ just because she said she used the expensive powder that I never asked for .

To be honest, I never had acrylic nails before (shout out to my coworkers for provoking me😂😂😂😂😂) I asked the nail technician her name, and she told me it was: Ellie or Elle (I wasnt able to ask for the specific spelling, but well make it work) Im solely writing this because one of the civilians below may have left a review that touched a nerve. I have never ever written a review before, but to see someone type words that seem overly exaggerated out of their sole experience, and to the extent that it doesnt seem legit, I would like to share my own. Ellie/Elle (sorry (;_;) ) Before I visited, I asked if they would be willing to do manicure for me, which they warmly assured me that they most definitely could. As soon as I arrived, the aura there was so calm, and soothing that I felt welcomed immediately. I simply dont know what the person previously is going on about, but whatever floats her boat. Yes, their English was a bit unclear, but you know what? That doesnt change the fact that they performed an excellent manicure, and the only reason I havent ran back is due to my own scheduling conflicts, but they were so sweet and welcoming , definitely ask for Ellie/Elle(sorry (;_;) ) If you ever happen to drop by, I think she told me shes off Tuesdays and Fridays, but definitely go and check these guys out. Side note, Ellie/Elle (I am so sorry (;_;) ) When I visited it was allergy season, and Im sure her allergies were acting up, but she was constantly changing her gloves, washing her hands, asking if I was okay, inspire of having to work in such s condition, she definitely gave me not 100% but 110% of her effort. So for the person below, before you go out and tell people not to visit, and just irrationally spouting up false accusations (which by the way, I was totally amused by your review based on the 3-year-old ranting approach you took😂😂😂😂😂) In terms of sanitized equipment, I wasnt too far from other guests/clients, and I was watching them as well (not as a creep) in terms of their process of performing manicures. So I dont know whod spat in your coffee, but please do take a moment to consider that youre making the entirety of the store look horrible, when I can say I got my nails done, and have had them last long and complimented by others. Mind anyone thats reading, I dont care to write much reviews, which I really should because some people have the audacity to type up nonsense, and put a mask over the hard work and effort that Ive experienced. Also, in terms of your fungus it may have been an allergic reaction to which you arent or werent familiar with. This place is gross. They don’t sanitize their tools. They tried to give me a gel pedicure with the oldest looking nail file I’ve ever seen in my life. When I asked for new tools they pulled out a tiny packet with one nail fine and buffer. I asked the tech if they sanitize everything else and she said “of course.” Well, the person getting their nails done next to me sat down & their tech used the cuticle cutters and foot scraper that had been sitting there uncleaned. They also overcharged me- $59 for a plain gel mani/pedi?! I wouldn’t have minded if I didn’t leave with the fear of an infection. If you’re going to rob people at least make sure you’re sterilizing your tools.

NO NO NO NO NO! Please don’t go there! The owner is so rude! RUDE RUDE RUDE… She has no respect! She started kind of forcing me to give more tip! And once I denied she looked at me in a very disgusting way like if I took her money! I would not go back to get or recommend anyone! She doesn’t talk she screams! If you try to explain something, she would get rude and you will end up getting whatever she wants! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. She treats her employees horrible! She stated “$2 tip only and then looked at me in the most disgusting way I could imagine!

I dont even want to rate a 1 star...zero stars for this place, I got married 1/7/2022...went the day before to do my special day wedding nails...horrible they put some guy to do my nails, I think I was his quinoa pig. He did such a horrible job. I went the next day to get them fix in another nail place. Now I know why when I got there place was empty

Horrible! Connie waxed my underarms. I told her it was too hot! She ignored me and continued twice. She tries to do my whole underarm together at once, then she couldn’t remove the clothe used for waxing. She finally yanked it so hard that it hurt so bad. Then she continued putting wax and ripping it off. After the third time I asked her to stop or she would make my underarm bleed. She did. The left arm she did it in parts as she is suppose to do. While she was cutting my toe nails, she cut the skin under my nail. I screamed from the pain. She ignores me once again. After drying my nails I walked out with another customer and realized how much my right underarm was hurting but since they were closing I just left. When I got home I realized that my underarm was swollen and very red. I couldn’t even put on a shirt. The next day I called the owner Mary to tell her about it. I went in later in the day to show her and all she did was to try to return the $12 for the waxing. What an insult. I left it on the bed where she put it. She didn’t even offer to put some cooking gel or give me a few manicure and pedicures for free to compensate for the pain I’m going through. I’m so pist off! I have always gone to Ella and Cristina that are great. I don’t know if I want to return to them again. If I get an infection I am definitely taking further action.

I have been going here for about 10 years since before they moved to the new spot. Everyone here is so friendly. Everytime I go in they do a great job and Mary always asks about my daughter and mom (who love coming here as well). The new nail salon is beautiful, cozy w a modern twist. Free parking, calm place, its great!

The workstation still had the last customer’s nail dust and clippings, the tools were not sanitized (I watched my manicurist take the basket of tools from the pedicure station she had been working at and they were also coveres in dust) and the gel is all over my cuticles which means it will lift and peel in no time. I would not recommend.

Worst nail salon, they dont sanitize their tools and I caught a fungus on my nail after getting their acrylic tips Never in my life have I experience this. and their so their expensive you would think they will be much cleaner. MANEGER just looked at me like I was crazy bad service . DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

This is the best salon I have been to. They sanitize all their tools and are very gentle and super welcoming I forgot the girl who did my manicure and pedicure last time but they day I had a bad day and she honestly kept asking to see if I was okay and made me feel better ❤ everyone that works their is so amazing I get anxiety if I get late for an appointment with them and have to go somewhere else. The salon it self is sooooo gorgeous like superrrrr pretttyyyy 😍😍 if I were to ever get a salon I would definitely copy this salon lol.

I usually go here when in the area because theyre open a little later. My past visit I was displeased, spent $25 on a mani and pedi and a $5 tip and when I got home the job looked very sloppy. Although the technician was nice but the job didnt look professional...disappointed

Worst costumer service!! The guy who works there is very rude there’s no sympathy for clients. I understand if it was busy but there was ONLY two sitting down and wouldn’t take me because I wanted a filling in( takes longer than a mani or pedi ) . Never coming back

I had a 3pm appointment. I got there 15 minutes before. Stood at the front desk for 10 minutes and no one acknowledged me. No one came over to see if I had or needed an appointment. Their customer service sucks. I went elsewhere.

Please save your money and time. I went to this place last week to get powder polish done and after 6 days it started coming off.

They are the worst people i never had because my tip did not stay on for a qweek they all xame off and i got my money back.i found a new place it call magic nail they are the best people my tip did not wven come off it three week i had it on .i tell everyone it worst place to go to angel tips and other people said the same thing they are the worst they dont want to do a good job on anybody nail all they want is money so orher people told me magic nail are the best place to go to

This salon is horrible and after getting off from that place I felt like I went to a fight. The reason I am telling because when they filed my nail, they literally cut my fingers.😢😢😢😢😢. It doesnt deserve even a single star......I will never go there especially any Chinese place....

The owner needs a front person helping her. She cut my toe with the drill running back and forth doing to much. Opposite of relaxing!
