It’s such a VIBE!! It’s so refreshing to see so many different people gathered in 1 spot for the same purpose…to party & have a good time!! Fun atmosphere, great music, great drinks only spot I know where when you can party until 5am on a Saturday night. 10/10 would definitely recommend
A very dope spot, very diverse, and always good music, the DJs are incredible, the staff are amazing and they have great management. I frequent this spot a lot with friends and we always enjoy ourselves, its a safe and fun environment the security are polite and professional. definitely a must go
Wow this is an amazing spot, the staffs, the music and sound quality is top tier! Everyone was doing their job and we felt welcome! I will definitely be coming back here . Thanks to the security team for always make us feel safe too
Went here with a few friends a couple weeks ago. We had a very litt experience. The DJ was definitely DJing playing all Afrobeats (which we had hoped for since this was a Afrobeats night) and didnt stray away and start playing hip hop.The lady checking people in had a serious look on her face that wasnt very welcoming but overall the vibes were definitely littt. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and actually was dancing and not just standing around. The drinks were pretty expensive compared to other clubs Ive been to in the same area. The bartender had great customer service and took good care of me and my friends.Parking was horrible. Took us about an hr to find a parking spot about 3 blocks away no exaggeration.
I was visiting from Toronto,Canada and was told about this spot. It was a nice vibes. I enjoyed it. I didn’t have any issues with rudeness from the bouncers/security. I would recommend for the good music, cute people, dancing & vibes!!
This venue was anything but the best soundsystem. I had to walk around the entire dancefloor multiple times to find a sweet spot where there was actual sub-bass. Everywhere else was a dead-zone. The lighting was nice, but for half the night they didnt have a lightjockey, so it was just running on auto. And even when there was a human operator, rarely was it timed to the music. As for the service, I arrived at the venue at 10:10pm which was ten minutes after doors were supposed to open. A customer was waiting in line, and told me they wouldnt open till 10:30. So I had to stand outside shivering in the cold for another 20 minutes, all because they had the wrong time printed on the tickets. And then the person checking IDs couldnt even get his scanner to work. So we had to wait yet another 2 minutes just for him to troubleshoot the app. And once I did get inside, the person taking cover asked if I was on the guestlist or I had a ticket. So I showed the QR code on my phone, and she said, Oh, I dont have any way of scanning that. But if its a QR code you should be good.I get it, there may be technical difficulties here and there, but its the sheer number of disappointing factors after travelling 2 hours to see these DJs perform. This is the quality of the experience for being a Chicago nightclub? Sorry, it doesnt live up to the hype.
If you want a spot to yourself on a Thursday night. Then this is your spot. They play good music and they’re open til 4 am so that’s always a vibe if you’re a night owl.
The staff is very friendly, affordable drinks, great music, best DJs in Chicago, what else can I ask for?! You have taste for Afrobeats, hip-hop, RnB reggae or maybe dancehall, lenocturne is the place for you no cap.
If you’re looking for a real Chicago club experience on the north side of Chicago This is the place to go. The staff and promoters are amazing. Especially the afro beats nights. They are epic.
Be careful of the parking around this area! It was my first time here, so The line to get in wasnt too long, $20 cover fee for a Saturday, good music, people were relatively friendly. There was a short employee who was alil ruff/rude when walking thru the crowd. Have your good shoes on and be ready to dance the night awayyy~ Obviously as the night went on, the place was packed.
Went here last night with a few friends for the Black Light party. We arrived around 11 and for some reason, the bouncer checking the women was being extremely rude to me. She was barking orders at me to open my purse (which was already open), to turn around, to go over here and there. It was just really unnecessary and definitely turned me off of this place. After getting inside, youre forced to coat check which is whatever, its 3 dollars, but the place wasnt even bumping enough to bother taking my coat off. Still, we continued on. We tried to stay for a few minutes to see if the crowd would pick up but didnt seem likely. It was just a lot of dudes with wandering eyes. The music was great though. Before coming into this place, I was prepared to buy a few round of drinks (it was pay day after all!) but with the rude staff member and weird vibes, we decided to spend our money elsewhere.
The atmosphere and vibes are great. The bartender Scottie was great. She was professional, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night. If you do go out to le nocturne. Scottie is your best friend if you want to have an amazing experience
Terrible club. Went for afrofusion and it seems like they dont want women in the club. Look at all the women saying the bouncers, owner, and managers are aggressive. You wont be safe here at all and the staff steals. They add on extra gratuity to your bill and dont trust their coat check! If they manage not to lose it you will definitely have empty pockets!
In Chicago for a show, looking for a fun club/ bar near our accommodations, thought this looked fun. Thats all it is, LOOKS. Staff was extremely rude from the street. Looking like the tourists we are, all the sudden theres a door fee, then a ticket- for what I have absolutely NO idea. The music was terrible as in the beats were making no sense, had to buy a coat check ticket we didnt want, drinks were downtown prices, but $32 for a well vodka and sprite, theyre awfully proud of that $8 bottle of Aristocrat we could have bought at the liquor store, and that was AFTER doing pretty much all we could to finally get a bartender to even acknowledge us. Not going to toot my own horn but listen, toot toot cuz I am a 20-year veteran of the bar industry as in I have tended bar in five different states on both coasts and a sprinkle in between, and I have not once, not ever in all my years, all the bars/ clubs/ venues felt so unwelcomed, unappreciated and taken advantage of. I CANNOT WAIT to NEVER go back here and I cannot wait to tell everybody who has an ear that will listen or eyes for me to write down just so they can read how terrible this place was. 10/10, hope this place and the miserable people running it find hope. Good LORD.
Fabulous place! Ambiance is amazing and service was top notch! Scottie behind the bar made exceptional drinks and has an phenomenal personality! She makes you feel like she has known you forever!! Music spectacular.... can’t say enough great things! Must come experience it, you will definitely make it your new spot! Hands down a 5 star actually a 10 star!
It’s a blast every time I go!! Very classy joint unlike many places in the city. You can enjoy yourself without worry awesome djs and drinks..Their bartender Scotti is hands down the sweetest, rocking, classy bartenders on staff and is always sure to help you have a great time…I would ask for her…if you’re looking for a good time and has scrolled up on Le Nocturne end your search and enjoy your night here!
My bartender Julian was great. He was friendly and gave me what I asked for. The music was on point for the day that I came. Julian was attentive. Will return. Thank you
Really enjoyed the service of the bartenders when I went out here for my birthday celebration. Especially that of Scotti. Loved her service and how she made sure my section was well tended to.
Did not even get in because of how rude the woman at the entrance was. I chose to leave because I dont pay to be disrespected.
One of my favorite clubs in Chicago! Miss going all the time with my favorite lady! Find her at the club with amazing colorful hair and an outfit to match!! She can party and always have an awesome time there and with her. Staff is great! Bartenders are great! Music is great! Deff check it out.
Not trans-friendly by any means. They forced one of my friends into the mens bouncer line despite them obviously being a woman.Other than that, the vibe is a bit weird. Its very clearly a bar but they call themselves a nightclub, probably because they added a lot of lights. Drinks cost what youd expect in a club, just without any of the club vibes.
This is my second time here at this bar. Each time has been an amazing experience. From the bouncers to the bartenders to the music. My bartender honestly made my experience even better! Whenever going to le nocturne, I recommend you have Jenn as your bartender. Super friendly, sweet, always smiling, never disappoints with drinks, and most importantly always PROMPT! Definitely have to come here more often. Hidden gem lol.
Just waited in line 30 minutes just for security (black male W/ dreadlocks & latino looking female) to tell us we couldnt get in with slides after they just let over 15 other females with sandals ... Waste of time and terrible service...!!! Make it make sense!!! Do better... Then they tried to overcharge us to get in with Said sandals smh... After all the others went in without paying... We agreed to pay and they insisted we paid them outside (Ive always paid inside at the little booth after allowed entrance through the door) which was a red flag to me!
Scotti is an amazing individual who tends bar like a professional who loves what they do! The space was PACKED for the party my friend put on, but despite the crowd we never had a problem getting drinks. Her fits are always on point, and she deserves a raise.
I discovered this venue earlier this year right when certain opening restrictions in Chicago were slightly open to a certain capacity with the pandemic ( march maybe). The first time I visited I was very impressed and I felt safe. The staff followed every covid policy I could think of, they were persistent and consistent with making sure no one left their assigned sections, and the wait staff visited you as much as needed. You can bring food if desired and hungry into this space which is nice to eat while you drink. The capacity limit was never broken, and even in the middle of this world crisis I felt I could enjoy myself a bit more. I started to visit the venue more , mostly on Thursdays top enjoy the afro-beats music. The venue is always very clean from top to bottom from my perspective, no fights, the security is respectful, polite, and they are always visible and taking care of their work honorable. The management that I have met is always kind, diligent, and accommodating to guests. Whether I want to sit alone and listen to music on a seat in the back or close to the bar, I feel safe and able to enjoy myself. The bar staff is always friendly, and helpful. The DJS are wonderful, kind, and alway open to making each day a memorable experience. They love what they do its very evident. I Iove to see black music being spread and a diverse and empowering way. I have seen the Thursdays night experience grow since I first discovered the venue. The lighting is perfect and elegant. It always feels crispy, clean, and smells brand new. Even if I dont come to dance, I come to support, and take a break from my work week and day. I am glad to know this is happening, its worth my 27 minute drive from the the south side. I look forward to hearing more music. I visited Le Nocturne during my birthday week, and I brought some friends it was fun, and a great memory all the staff was cheering for me. I have met new people, and overall had positive experiences each time I have been here. I remember when I first came the DJs awarded free drink tickets which was a surprise. I am not a drinker but I have tried the one of the cocktails. The peach one is so flavorful, I love the rum punch specials. I know during the pandemic some of the rules and prices at different places change for business reasons, which is understandable. Overall I am happy to know I cam visit uptown for this experience, and I have never once felt unsafe , even with a mask on I enjoy myself. I hope to stay one night until 4am before it gets cold. Keep up the great work and the Afro Beat experience. One Love!
Had a great time security was super laid back but did their job. The bartender was super friendly I just wish I would’ve known how expensive the drinks were lol. Other than that, awesome venue, great lights. Highly recommend!
The place looks great and the environment feels very safe. They have a very diverse attendants so you wouldnt feel like an outsider. The lady with colorful hair and beautiful eyes brought so much energy to the club. She looked like one of those fairytale characters we heard about as children. She is both mystic and majestic. I was quite awed when I saw her and she is my kind of energy!!!!!
Let me just say I’m not a bar/club person. Unless I’m on vacation I really do not like to go out. As a woman you know how it is. This is not a regular review. Let’s do a little story time…Let me shout out Scotti!!!Not only does she make the best Long Island w/extra sour -try it I promise it’ll be your new favorite drink, but she’s just wonderful in general.I was there one night and this weirdo man tried hitting on me offered to buy us a round of shots and when the bill came he threw a fit 😭 🤣 while I was in the bathroom Scotti handled him. I ended up paying for the shots he ordered and she roasted him royally and I left her a juicy tip because I love a woman that has your back. Thanks girl!
Love the atmosphere here the music and vibe is amazing and Scotti is such an amazing bartender! So attentive and quick! Love the energy she provides and the drinks she makes! Definitely a 5 star experience thanks to her!
Be aware, they charge a service charge on your bill, I am not sure why we were targeted or why it is listed as a service charge instead of clearly labeling this as gratuity. On top of that, we were charged for someone elses drink! First of all, we would never ever drink ML and secondly only buy 1 for two people. This is not the first bar in Chicago that this has happened at nor just us. Folks please do not start a tab or if you do, make sure you see your itemized bill prior to cashing out, perhaps have them print it out throughout the night and be diligent.3 star review for their fantastic sound system and brilliantly bright lighting rigs.
Worst experience ever in a club. Will not go back ever.Horrible experience with the security woman. She could not let me and my friend into the club not only once but two weekends in a row!Now this is what happened, the first time when we went to the club there was a very long line and my friend had gotten tired standing in line and decided to sit down for a minute, this security woman came and said that my friend was disrupting the line and ordered us to go, just like that!!The weekend after, there was an afrofusion event happening at the same club that we really wanted to attend so we purchased tickets and went, the moment this woman saw us arrive, when we got to the line she pulled us aside and said we cannot get in to the club, !!Nothing like this has ever happened to me before and I feel like this security guard has her own personal reasons, it’s absolutely unfair and discriminatory.
I love Le Nocturne! I attended their Afrofusion night and the ambiance was incredible. Scotti was super friendly, always had a smile on her face, and a great conversationalist. Would 100% go again and recommend to a friend!
Atmosphere was amazing very live music was on point from beginning to end. Drinks were on point shout out to one of the bartenders Scotty she got me right together the whole night. It’s definitely a hidden gem I’ll definitely be back again soon.
Eventbrite’s table reservation for venue stated that only 1 bottle was required, but when we arrived, site said it was a 2 bottle minimum. Also, my party of 4 was told the cover was $20. We paid that. However, my niece arrived at 11:36pm and actually got there before I did and was charged $30. They need to be consistent with pricing. Them two moves were very sheisty to me……
I hope this is review meets curious and interested minds well who have not discovered a new place to enjoy in this City. Especially if you are looking for a place in Chicago that is consistent, safe, fun and very hospitable. Uptown is a very culturally diverse community, and Le Nocturne is hidden gem in this community. I am a firm believer of sustaining and supporting places that are trying, succeeding, and doing what they love especially during trying times in our world. There is never a time where I have visited Le Nocturne where I have not had an enjoyable time. Even if you want to just come and listen, people watch, meet new people you can do that here. The management shows respect, and care always. I feel treated very welcoming, and I believe this is why people come back and any business can thrive because they stick to their vision. Even after a year of discovering this venue I have seen it grow, which is so amazing. I hope to see more expansion. Thursday is such a fun day to stop by after work is you can, weekends are busier but you will see a diverse, variety filled experience here. This business I can tell prioritizes safety, the security team is attentive to matters fast, and they make sure everything flows. Saturdays even if you want to come by at 1am there is room to enjoy afro beats and house music, which I looking forward to experiencing soon. The afro beat music showcases a plethora of music from black culture around the word and the Latino Music too. The bar staff, they take pride joy, and pay attention to what you need. I love that there is complimentary water set out for guests which is helpful , and is no hassle. Sometimes I just stop to feel the music, enjoy the space, & to mentally unwind. If you visit on a weekend make sure to meet Scotti, she is a lovely spirit to see behind the bar making any drink you need. You glow with black girl radiance, and Im glad to see you there! So kind, and hip, and she cares about customers. Jeff the GM on site he works with his team, will greet you, and treats people with respect. They all work together. I love the sound booth too, I did not realize there were staff creating lights until earlier this year and its a lovely component to see from the dance floor. I can tell that it takes a lot to make these events happen, and you all do it so seamlessly. Some places in Chicago and other places, you may encounter staff night life venues who are not focused on positive experiences as much. I hope more people visit Le Nocturne, I hope expansion is coming, and maybe other days with different musical events, listen sessions, the sky is the limit. You have my support, and coming here has impacting my social life/ well- being in a positive way during the pandemic. #uptown #afrobeats #classynightlife #chicagonightlife #housemusic #thingstodoinchicago #lenocturne #positiveparties #placestogo
As a dance maniac, I absolutely love this place. The music is always banging, the light effects are always super dope (thanks to Lt. Dan!) and just as important, its one of the most (ethnically) diverse venues in town, something which reflects the positive, inclusive culture of the staff and clientele. If youre looking for high vibes on the floor, I highly recommend this place!
Scotti was a great host, she made sure we got everything we needed at our section and she was patient and understanding while navigating through our crowded section
First house club, and I’m glad it was! The speaker system really is top tier best I’ve heard in the city so far. And the atmosphere is so cozy and the music! All OLD, GOOD house. Definitely goanna be a regular for me.
Had a blast while in town from Miami! Scotti serves the best drinks! The music and crowd are a great mix, fun place for dancing.A must while in town-Looking forward to next time!
One of the worst and weirdest experiences I’ve had at a club. First the place was pretty dead then the music was more slow dancing. I had 1 Long Island in the course of being there for 3 hours. I was so bored that I got in my Jeep with two friends and played music while dancing on my car. I assume we got too much attention so we were asked to park the car and come in or move the car further down the street. Once I parked my car and tried to come in I was told by 1 security that we were too drunk to come back in…. Like I previously said I only had 1 Long Island. Definitely felt like the security guard had a personal reason for being the only person to say we couldn’t come in. Definitely will not be returning.
Its one of those experiences where if I could put 0 stars I would.... $60 for entry fee, for what?... 😅In response to your unprofessional response...Like first off, unprofessional 😅🥳Like your bouncer gave one price $80 for both and you can go in, but your lady at the podium said $60 for Each of us. Make it make sense....For reference, this was a little after 1am because we were looking for a place to dance... would have been fine spending $60 in drinks but $60 entry fee...again, for what 😅
Club ownership is TERRIBLE, totally unorganized, unprofessional and show absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO EMPATHY, NO COMPASSION!!! They had ALL attendees to the Mike Dunn party last night stand outside in the snow for hours. They were rude, wouldnt allow many people to get in at all, and those that they DID let in, they TRIPPLED THE COVER CHARGE PRICE!!
I have never been compelled to share a review, and I wish I could give this negative stars, but I am absolutely disgusted by the way two of my friends were treated over the weekend. The staff at Le Nocturne lost their property and instead of handling the situation professionally, several staff members (including security) decided to respond with violence - slamming, pushing, and punching two women. This is absolutely unacceptable, and the fact that no one stepped in to stop grown men from doing this is just terrible. Please do not waste your time and money here - this is a place that condones physical violence and assault against Black women. There are much better places to go, and as another poster shared, this is not a safe or welcoming place for everyone at all.
This is a great club with great music! Scotti was my bartender and the drinks were too perfect❤️. Only complaint, it was pretty hard to find parking close by.
The VIP service here is phenomenal! I appreciate that the focus was on service and not being overly showy because you’re in VIP. There’s such a variety of people there, and the vibe was cool. Lots of security ever present but they were very friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to return.
This place over charge for drinks! The Asian looking bartender charged me $15 for a $10 drink! How can tips and gratuity be 50 percent of the drink? Please watch your bill. It’s not the money it’s he principles
I had a lot of fun for “blacklight blackout” highly recommend.
The Latino girl claiming she owns the place wouldn’t let us in because for our shoes while she processed to let other girls in sandals in . She was very rude and unprofessional. We will not be going back there. Why is a Latino girl policing an Afro fusion event when she is clearly being disrespectful and discriminatory
This happened last month. Throughout the interaction, neither my partner nor I got angry or said/ did anything rude. Maybe I should have been more upset, but the whole experience was so weird that it mostly just left me very, very confused. And we’ve been to clubs (pre-Covid) and gotten bottle service before, a few times. We’d never been to Le Nocturne before. We purchased advance tickets that specified a table. When we arrived, we checked in with the hostess and asked about getting our table, and she said, “It’s just open,” waving us away with her hand (seriously) and turning to help the next guests. OK? We walked in, looked around, and sat at the bar and ordered cocktails. Only about 1/4 of tables were occupied. So we asked the bartender how to get a bottle & table - yes we have table tickets - he sent a guy our way. The guy asked how many in our party - right now 2, but 1-2 friends joining later. He said, and I kid you not, that he would sell us a bottle but NOT give us a table. What? My partner talked to him for a few minutes, and he offered to make some people move from one of the little high tops back by the bar so we could sit there. We said we would like a VIP table by the dance floor, with our VIP bottle service. He scoffed at my partner, said he had “no way of knowing” if we really had friends coming, and “since there are only 2 of you right now, I can’t sit you at a 4-top!” We left. Also - we look great, so it wasn’t that, either. No idea. There isn’t a dress code here, which sounds great in theory but in practice means that the club is full of dudebros in cargo shorts.I’m rereading this and I honestly don’t know if I’d believe someone who said this happened to them. It was so bad it veered into the bizarre. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before (being insulted by someone when trying to purchase a service), and both my partner and I are super respectful and chill with service industry people. Again, I’m not angry, I’m just very confused. Will not be back
This is the spot. It’s very diverse, staff are amazing. I have an awesome time whenever I go. The lady with the colorful hair is always there with an outfit to match like she is the party and everybody be T’d. You know the vibes
I love this place! Awesome set-up, engaging and inviting as soon as you walk in. Music and livestreams give lenses on new artists! Unmatched service, very attentive, the staff treated us excellent!Awesome experience always!
AfroFusion is always great, love the House Music with Chosen Few too! Scotti is the best bartender, always singing along and making great drinks. Will always be back!
Can I give more than 5 stars?Le Nocturne is definitely one of the best venues in the City of Chicago!- Great Ambiance- Very clean venue- Great sound system- Enough Parking in the area- Great Customer ServiceOne of the most diverse parties in the city - Afrofusion is definitely a great event to attend. Great event where the DJs play a diverse selection of music.Don’t wanna pay to get in? Simply RSVP and get there early.
The night started out rough. I expected better service seeing that my friend was buddies with one of the owners. We were placed in the back by the DJ and the waitress neglected us for most of the night. At one point, I flagged the waitress and made long eye contact with her that she clearly saw I wanted a drink and she instead served the table next to us which didnt need any attending at all and just walked away afterwards without coming to us (note that we were 2 feet away from the table and that interaction laster less than 2 seconds). Luckily the bouncer right near us saved the night by getting someone to take out second order. keep in mind took over an hour of us sitting there to take our second order. Additionally, our first order of drinks was taken by one of the owners after 40 minutes of neglect.. All In all, the place had good music but the service was just not there at all. I expected more and I wont be going back.
Sadly just tried to go here with my hubby. Was told $30 dollars each to get in , thats crazy!!! $60 dollars before we even get a drink. Very sad you guys charge your customers that. You all have truly lost yo minds!!!
Had an awesome time here. This place had just recently opened after the covid shutdown and did very well with social distancing and safety measures. Night clubs can be very hit or miss but everything about Le Nocturne was on point. DJs played great music, service was exceptional and the environment was welcoming. Highly recommend if youre looking for a place to hear good electronic music as the sound system was great and the DJs played newer music.
My new fav place. The vibe is amazing. Dj was a hit on one of the Afrofusion nights. The only reason this place doesnt get 5 stars is because they need to get the AC cranking when the place is packed. We were literally dripping wet! Still danced the night away
Had an unbelievable experience at this place! The staff was absolutely amazing and treated us incredibly well! They were respectful, kind, and friendly to us, which is a great change of pace to standard Chicago nightlife scene. If you enjoy being treated as family, I would highly recommend a visit to see for yourself!
This is the new hotspot in Chicago when it comes down to the nightlife scene! The owner Jeff is a French DJ so he knows what hes talking about!I really enjoyed the homemade Gin cocktails selection and the very welcoming staff 🎉
Great time listening to afrofusion music! Great drinks, bartender Scotti was so helpful and very kind! Lively atmosphere!
Amazing venue! Best sound-system and light show I have ever seen in Chicago. The drink selection is out of this world and the infused Gin OMG!!I am sure it will become one of the best nightclub in Chicago!
Отличная работа ребята!(Translated by Google)I was with my husband, I recommend it to anyone who loves classic house. Simple atmosphere, no need to take separate tables (they are located the same, and far from the stage. Good price for a drink. I will come there again. Security reacts quickly and quietly. Great job guys!
Fun place, went for flannel fridays but it seems like the transition of the event from marys attic still has some kinks to work out! Its a very different space for sure. The strobe lights were really intense and made the dance floor tough to stay on for any length of time, some folks even left I think because it was disorienting but the crowd in general was happy, full of cute girls and everyone was having a great time!I hope next time they have water, everyone was dying haha - I saw people drinking out of the sinks in the bathrooms because the bar didnt have water! Dancing til parched is a great review though :)
Top notch service, Fantastic House DJs, and a Banging Sound System. The Manager, Jeff, really knows how to make you feel special. Shout out to Resident DJ Paul Johnson...for always throwing it down!!!
-Great music-Great security-Great venue-Lots of space great lights-Manny is amazing-Scotti and Jenn make the best drinks-Affordable-One of the best night clubs in Chicago-S/o to the tall security with dreads he always walk me to my Uber-Jeff and Francois are the best!!!!
I absolutely love the bartender Scotti! She is the best. Drinks were great, music was amazing! 🤍
I don’t know about you but I had a blast. Find me being goofy on the dance floor wearing an inappropriately warm neon sweater and some golden frames. Great place to be all around 🙏🔥Rico and Scotti were amazing 🎉🎉🎉
Absolutely amazing atmosphere, a must go-to when in Chicago! Scotti was the sweetest, most memorable staff member! Can’t wait to come back!
Best boutique club in Chicago. House music and other genres coupled with a top-notch staff and one of the best sound systems in the city today. Highly recommend
Bouncers were rude and aggressive towards me and a friend last night , it was a black man with Locs and a Hispanic woman with lip fillers pushed us out of the venue AFTER checking our ID’s leading us to think we were getting in, and proceeds to ask for $25 to get in, when Le Nocturne (AFROFUSION) says we can get in before midnight, It was not midnight.
Great drinks, amazing service, great prices. Their music is spot on. Sound system is top notch. Real house experience here. Will definitely be back
Jennifer makes the best cosmopolitans in all of Chicago. The staff is very kind and caters to your needs. 10 out of 10 best clubs in the city.
I looooove this place, Great music & drinks. The bartender Scotti is lovely, great service and very attentive!!! Can’t wait to come back.
A nice club in Uptown. Moderate sized dance floor, good sound. Staff is friendly and attentive. Just be prepared for the sticker shock of their drink prices. $$$$
Seotti was such an amazing bar tender! This was a great night overall! Looking forward to coming again.
Weekends here at the best. Enjoyed it on Thursday and Friday. Cheap drinks. Only thing is if you don’t RSVP you’ll have to pay at door after 11 even if you got a section
Used to like this place but new staff is super rude and make you feel unwelcome. Had an especially terrible experience last night where the security decided to not let in half our group for no particular reason. Wont be going back...
Had a great time here with my girls, Scotti was a great bartender! Highly recommend getting the Pamir Peach (one of their specialties)!
Place was bigger than I expectedGreat bartender named Scotty with amazing customer service real friendly atmosphere prefect place to come on the night out with mixed afro, hip hop, R&BDefinitely will be back !!!
Nice place, when I went I mostly seen ladies there felt like ladies celebration 😫it was for afro&gilhop night I hardly heard any hip-hop music they play monice from the 90s and lil shot cost $20 overall the place is clean
Scotti my favorite bartender makes good drinks… professional..nice personality I love this place good music and Afrofusion is so fun!!!🔥🔥🔥
Best place to be, music is lit lit! Scotti was amazing in serving us and definitely made sure we was good and litt.
Absolutely love their Afro Beats events ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Fun people come through and we dance 💃🏿
The bartenders here are top notch, especially Scotti. Not sure if they have specialized training for them but I’d come back here just for the drinks 😮💨
Such a great time I love the girl with the colorful hair and matching out fits the setting is everything but her outfit that matched her hair really stood out the most for me
Absolutely love this place! Great venue, amazing staff (especially Manny), great drinks and even better vibes.
I Love This Place Its So Much Fun The Music Is Great The Staff Is Awesome && Theirs All So This Lady Who Dresss Amazing & Wears Colorful Hair Who Is At The Club Of Setting The Vibe I Love It !!
Avoid this place at all costs. Two of my friends were violently assaulted here recently by staff members and had things stolen from them. If you value your safety, especially as a Black woman, stay far away from this establishment.
Neat place, but if you get here at 3am, they will deny you entry. Even though they close at 4. 🙃
It says beer $6 on the screen but bartender charged me $10. What a lovely place
Scotti was a great bartender and Blacklight Blackout was an awesome event!
Scotti is a magical ethical sweetheart. nicest bartender i’ve ever met in my entire life
I would give it six if I could. Best beats, great owners, inclusive. Everyone has a fantastic time

Scotti was great, had a good time and the bar service was amazing!
I had Jenn for my bartender and she made THE BEST margarita!! Can’t wait to be back!!!!
If you want to spend $125-$300 on a section with security heavily policing every move you make , lousy music and $6 bottles of water then this is the place for you . Most of these night clubs should’ve stayed closed until the pandemic is over
Great place to hear house music with the best staff and and service. Big shout out to the owner francois for opening this great venue.

Jennifer took great care of us today! She’s AMAZING!
Got in quick and bartender Jennifer was amazing!! Awesome music!!
Horrible service especially the Mexican man with the little hair and slick back over did his job and was highly disrespectful to everyone and extremely rude, unprofessional, obnoxious, and yelled at everyone! Don’t go here!
You pay $20 for literally nothing. Horrible place, generic music, bad drinks.
