Sandpipers resort

My husband & I have been coming to Sandpipers Resort for 2 to 3 years now. We have always felt like this was a second home. We recently bought a home on the property and are working towards making this our full time residence. The park is always clean and the residents are friendly and truly care about the property and their community. I could not imagine living anywhere else. I feel extremely lucky to be living in this beautiful Resort.

My husband and I are fortunate to live at Sandpipers Resort among amazing people, top notch facilities, a friendly community environment, and we’re central to all locations in the Rio Grande Valley. We are a destination park, meaning those who come here generally stay for the winter but we also welcomed newcomers. Our first visit was in January 2001 for 3 days while we waited for replacement parts for our RV. Those 3 days became 3 weeks, which we extended to 3 months. Now we’re here year round and are Texas residents for 22 years! Love this place!

Great resort for part time, full time or RV visitors to the RGV. The grounds, landscape, pool and facilities are beautifully taken care. The staff is top notch, people are friendly and the owner cares deeply for the residents. One brief visit several years ago and we were hooked. We love being a winter Texan here!

We retired and bought a 40 foot motor home in 2010. Stoped here on advise of friends This was not on our radar at the time. We returned the next year and people greeted us saying welcome home. We returned every year and eventually bought a home here. This is a great community of people from all over and from all walks of life. We have many great friendships here. It gets better every year.

Absolutely wonderful place to live. Most people that visit end up buying an annual to be assured a lot. And a large majority buy here and sell their home, wherever they may be. Always so much to do and everyone takes care of everyone. You never feel alone. BEST place ever!!!!

My husband and I have been at Sandpipers since Jan. 1, 2002. It has been our home of choice ever since. The people are warm and friendly. There is a busier social schedule than anyone can keep up with. Golf, tennis, pickleball, bowling, dances, karaoke, book club and theater. You name it, theyve got it. But, most important, my fellow Sandpeeps are the best friends I have ever had. You will love this park.

This is one of the nicest RV parks you will ever visit. The Pools and showers are cleaned every morning. The property has a full time team keeping the grass mowed, trees trimmed and everything working for your enjoyment. During the season you have a dance every weekend. The park has its own band you can join. This year we are supposed to have 5 pickleball courts. Rvs have paved parking lots 16 to 24 ft wide and up to about 50 ft deep. The people there are from all over America and Canada. We came for a day and now are annual winter Texans.

After two years of RVing full time, and staying at resorts from California to Florida, we happened to stay at Sandpiper’s Resort. We were in El Paso at the Sun Bowl, and it snowed, so we followed the Rio Grand River South. We are from Wisconsin, and snow was not a part of our retirement game plan. Both my wife and I immediately knew this was going to be our Winter Home, and that was in 2001. We then bought a mobile in 2002, and the rest is history. Best decision we ever made. It was the quality of the people that certified our decision. The owner has made tremendous improvements with the quality of the facility over the years. The high standards for admission to the resort has been refreshing and welcomed by the residents, and if the quality just isn’t there, well, that says something that does matter. For over 20 years, we have witnessed continuing quality enhancements, towards assisting residents in keeping our tenants synergistically special and talented, and we have seen it all play out at this very special, destination focused, vibrant resort. We were winter Texans at Sandpipers Resort for 13 years before covid hit. 6 months a year we enjoyed such a family atmosphere with so much to experience with sports, an awesome swimming pool, card nights, crafts etc. This resort has my highest recommendation to experience.

Great place with the friendliest people you will ever meet. It is a happy place where stress is left at the gate upon entering. We loved every moment there and cherish our time there. It is a gem off the beaten path like an oasis.

SPR is a beautiful resort. Has all the amenities possible. All lots and homes are well kept, and the people are the most welcoming group of peeps you can meet!

Sandpipers is, by far, the best nudist resort we have visited. The park is immaculately maintained, the amenities are topnotch, the people are friendly and welcoming, and the prices are affordable. We hope to make Sandpipers our new winter home!

Totally enjoyed our time there. Lots of activities. Great spots for our fifth wheel. The pool was awesome. Will go back again.

I stayed in the suites and you dont have to bring anything but food (if you dont want to go shopping). I went this last week (mid-June) and it was very peaceful and relaxing. The people were all friendly. If you want activities, you need to come Winter Texan time (Oct.- April). A beautiful place to be natural in!

I love these people!To reviewer Armando Villa, I wish to say that your first impressions are not at all like mine. Sandpipers is the most welcoming community Ive ever experienced, and I have spent considerable time on 5 continents. The owner vastly improved Sandpipers from the unremarkable place it was when she bought it, she cares deeply about Sandpipers community and property, and she runs a tight ship. As she should too, because that protects everyone who lives and comes here. I love Sandpipers so much that I bought a rig so I can snow bird here! I am just a new resident. I am not an employee of any kind.

The best park we have ever visited. Beautifully maintained and landscaped. You will not find kinder or more caring neighbors anywhere.

Obviously anyone giving Sandpipers a rating lower than 5 has never been here, has confused our Sandpipers with another Sandpipers (there is another one near the island), or has a score to settle because he/she was denied entry because they were looking for a sexual experience instead of just enjoying life without the restrictions of clothes.

My favorite place on earth! Best weather anywhere. In Nov it was bright sun & high 80s most days. Constant breeze felt perfect and kept flying insects down. Perfect humidity level. Great shopping near by. Delicious locally grown fruit. Friendliest people I ever met!!!!!! Prices really reasonable. And you can just stay naked 24x7. Social nudity, not swinging. Very strict that all behavior be well civilized. Singles welcome. Lots of fun socialization. 24x7 hot tub, pool, workout room, game room, and laundry. I want to migrate from Ohio to Sandpipers permantly.

Beautiful, perfectly maintained resort. Management is helpful and attentive. Lots of fun activities. I love it here!!

I live at this resort year round. The people are friendly and loving. Its a great place to visit and to live.

We live at Sandpipers Resort. We live here because we appreciate the tight security, privacy, clean environment, amazing landscaping, large, clean, temperature controlled pool, clean showers and washroom…….we could go on and on.

We stayed at Sandpipers for 4.5 months from November 2018 to March 2019. Best nude resort and people we have ever visited. (Much better than any of the clothing optional resorts in Florida.) There are lots of fun and funny activities throughout the season. The weather is on par with far south Florida and Mexico is a short drive away. Bring a passport. We will return. Sandpipers Nude Resort is worth the visit.

Well kept, friendly, private resort. Family friendly, open to everyone, but you have to pay to get in.

Love this place. We come over 5 days a week to play volleyball and spend time at the pool. Everyone is so friendly. Very clean.

The worst campsite Ive seen too bad. The camper and resident are very welcoming and kind. But the owner is something else I had booked for 5 months after 2 I left. Without any refund. At campsite where you are woken up at 7:00 in the morning 3 to 4 times a week by the mower, but you are not allowed to have any music around the pool. The average age is 75 so dont trust the photo on the website. The owner prefers that you stay even if your unhappy than to reimburse you with no compassion. Im writing a formal complaint to AANR.Although I paid for 5 months and left voluntarily without any complaints. So in principle I should be able to go back there to enjoy the pool and see the people I met. The owner forbade me entry. She changes the rules as she pleases. My friends who came to visit me paid $10 each the first time the second time they wanted to come the price was down to $18. Im writing this post for the sole purpose that no one gets fooled like me.
