I am new to El Paso and really needed a massage after a few weeks of hotel hopping and sleeping on an air mattress. Self-love Wellness Spa had plenty of appointments available so I didnt have to wait too many days to get in. The price was perfect and the timing couldnt have been better. I will definitely be back!! I got the 90 minute sport massage with Britney.

Britney was an absolute expert and professional. I do NOT like massages, but went because I needed it. Because of Britney, my significant pain issues are in full recovery. I would recommend to anyone and will be returning. Awesome awesome awesome!

After working 8, 12 hours shifts straight, this relaxing massage was just what I needed. Yvette provides you with a calm, welcoming setting and is a very professional therapist. I enjoyed her massage techniques and am hoping I can setup another appointment soon before I leave town.Definitely recommend.

Love it! My first time here, and its been 5 years since I last had a massage. Britney really did a great job, she is well understanding. The pressure she used was exactly what I was looking for to ease and relax the tension Ive been having in my upper back, shoulders and neck! I will definitely be coming back soon for another session! Much relief needed from bending, lifting, and slouching all days LOL. ❤️

The vicinity was clean, calm and peaceful with the perfect zen music playing in the background. I liked that she asked what my trouble areas were and to let her know if the amount of pressure she was using was too soft, that way she could apply more pressure. The massage itself was very relaxing, peaceful, I left there at ease, calm and rejuvenated, thank you.

This place gets one star because the interior is actually very nice and calming to look at. However coming to the massage and therapist and management not so pleasant. I booked a 90 minute deep tissue seeing all the reviews and told the therapist multiple times what I did and DID NOT want worked on. Therapist didnt listen and telling him three different times again what I wanted and didnt want. I lost count of how many times I told him to go more on the pressure as I BOOKED A DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE he did a relaxation massage instead. Being fedup and seeing as this place charges your card right when you book instead of waiting till after the session I decided just to keep trying to tell him about the pressure and what I wanted done did it work no it did not. I was told manager wasnt there and so when I went to write a review she saw the notes of what I said I wanted worked on and basically saying I should of kept telling him about the pressure or walked out. No resolution so if you have a problem here dont expect them to care to do anything about it. Do I recommend this place definitely not if you want real healing this is not the place to go.

I have had nothing but great experiences at El Pasos SelfLove Wellness Spa, even during COVID. They sanitize and clean everything. I was greeted warmly, and the space itself was very calming and relaxing. I have specific, sharp pain and communicated this to my therapist (Britney Simental). Britney made a point to assure me and make me feel comfortable with the products used. I HIGHLY recommend the hot stone massage. I prefer heavy pressure for my massages, I usually get deep tissue or pressure point massages, and Britney did not disappoint! She did some traditional massage techniques along with stretching, and all were fantastic.

My husband treated me for an hour massage, at self love wellness spa, for my birthday. I have to say the place is well kept, clean, I enjoyed my massage with hot stones, hot towels and much more. They also offer couples massage. I recommend it you will be a happy costumer. Support our local business.

This was my second time coming here after a couple years. This place is quiet and the staff is very knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable and I felt like I was allowed to ask questions and let them know if I want to change something about the massage. I have been told even by some dentists that they don’t know what to do about my TMJ, but Britney was able to ease the pain. She was awesome! I will definitely be back!

I went in for a relaxation session & left the place wanting to Uber home. My body was beyond relaxed & relieved of the many painful knots I had just from the relaxation massage alone. Selflove wellness spa will be my go-to from here on out.

I was nervous going but Yvette welcomed me and made me feel at ease. She has a very soothing and calming personality. I was amazed at how she told me about my sacral chakra was blocked and it was related to stomach issues which I do. As the days go by I have felt lighter and happy she did an awesome job. Extremely disappointed because we couldn’t even try this place out due to the shady booking practices we experienced with the owner. We were originally trying to book with her but she said she didn’t open her schedule until the other 2 therapists are booked. Odd but ok. So based on reviews we selected her more experienced massage therapist as well as the owner informing us that the other available therapist was relatively new. Booked our services online with the specified therapist after speaking to the owner that we were booking with the experienced therapist. Late that evening owner swapped the appointment with the new inexperienced therapist without checking with us first. Next morning we wake up to her notifying us that she’d made changes to the selected therapist. At this point we weren’t comfortable with the situation and requested a refund; that’s when she offered to put us back on the schedule with the original selected therapist. an emergency situation or something like that is understandable to make changes but to do so arbitrarily when a client has specifically booked with one therapist is counter intuitive to a relaxing situation. Refund was issued with no problems just not willing to repeat this booking fiasco.

I just had my first massage with Yvette today. She was professional and explained what precautions were being taken to protect against COVID, which is extremely helpful during these difficult times. Yvette was personable and made me feel comfortable and relaxed! She made sure to ask if enough pressure was applied or not enough and worked at getting all of the knots out. Went in for a strained back and tense shoulder. Great relaxed experience. Relaxing music in the background with dark lit room. Very professional and friendly. Clean and fresh linens. Bed was warm and cozy. I asked for deep massage with hot stones and everything was in perfect temperature. Worked on exactly what I felt I needed relief in. The pressure of the massage was just what I needed and she will adjust firmness as you request, mine was just right. Will be going back for more. Highly recommend.

We just had the couples massage (mother/daughter) for Mothers Day at the Hondo Pass location, and it was excellent! The service and actual massage (from head to toe) was amazing! We cant wait to come back!

Booked a 90 min couples massage with Ms. Yvette and her assistant and it was the absolute best. She took all precautions & made us feel comfortable. Her assistant and her self talked to us prior the massage and through to make sure we were enjoying the massage and application of desired pressure. All and all it was a great experience and would absolutely recommend to anyone! We will be booking again soon!

Got a Facial Treatment with Lia , very kind & gentle. Her treatment helped with the redness on my face. And my skin was glowing all day & looks/feels super silky. Ive always walked away from a deep tissue massage needing another massage to relax me after getting all the knots worked out. Mrs. Yvette is a very professional massage therapist. I appreciated how she told me what all I needed to do to get ready for the massage as well as explain what they do differently now because of COVID-19, focusing on proper safety and health. She asked questions throughout the massage if it was too intense or if she was going too soft and hit all my muscles that were hurting. I’m a very active person. I hit the Gym 3-4 times a week, play basketball, handball and do try to get massages often. I recently hurt my shoulder and have been living with the pain for months. I had my first prenatal massage. Such a great and soothing experience. Atmosphere and the massage itself was so relaxing. I caught myself falling asleep a couple times because of how relaxing the massage was even as yvette was working through my knots. I work out 5 days a week and my muscles always get tight and exhausted throughout the week. I finally decided to do something about the pain and try a massage. This was the first massage I’ve ever gotten, so i was a little nervous on how it would go, but Yvette was professional and made me feel comfortable the entire time. The massage itself was really gave me the relief and relaxation i needed. Will be back again.

Booked 1.5hour cupping and hot stone massage. Bad back from a motorcycle accident. I have had issues golfing lately, where I wouldnt play. Had a tee time booked for the following day, decided to squeeze in a massage if I could get one on short notice to see if it would make a difference. Had a great round, and golfed two more rounds in the same week(feeling that good). It has been two weeks since, and I feel its getting time to rebook another appointment. Susan seemed to do some pressure point things as opposed to only muscular massaging at times. I really believe this is what made the difference. Tyvm!

I miss this LMT! I was in El Paso for work and saw this little lady 4 times. She is BY FAR the best LMT I have seen. I wish I could move her to Washington! I have chronic lower back pain and scoliosis and this girl would get on my back and do some amazing Thai massage stretches. She also focused on the knots in my upper back which needed the attention. After leaving her I always felt super relaxed. I wish I had tried the Reiki, but felt the other stuff was much more needed at the time. If Im ever back in El Paso, Im definitely going to visit again.
