I’ve tried several massage places all over Bergen county and I have to admit that Olive Tree Spa should rank as one of the best ones out there. Such a nice, clean and professional looking facility. The staff were super helpful, nice & were great at the services they offered. I informed the manager that I am recovering from herniated disc and have sciatica symptoms and she made sure the masseuse understood & focused on helping relieve more back pains. Super relaxing and my body felt great. Highly recommend this spot.

This is my third time visiting olive tree spa! When I called earlier in the day olive tree spa was lovely on the phone when making a reservation.. Once you walk in you are greeted and it smells amazing inside! Very clean, very affordable, and the staff are amazing! I will definitely be returning again! Ive sent my in-laws, my parents, and friends here! Highly recommend!

I got the 60 min back massage and 30 min foot massageBoth masseuse were very receptive to feedback and adjusted to my liking nicely. If you like firm deep massages, look no further! They also have an assortment of essential oils to choose from so if you have any sensitivity to certain scents like I do, it’s a really nice touch.

The family and I come here from time to time to work out some serious knots. They do an incredible job, know what we are looking for, and whether youre here to do body or foot massage, just make sure you tell them the problem areas to focus on if you have any! They worked out some knots in my neck and shoulder, and I felt like a new person after a solid hour.They may be slightly more expensive than other massage places, but the one thing we really like about Olive Tree is the cleanliness and the lighting, without overpowering spa music. Easily worth the small premium and still more cost effective than some of the subscription based models. Remember to bring cash for tips!

Olive tree spa is immaculate and an extremely relaxing environment. as soon as you walk inside, you smell the aromatherapy, and the ambience was very tranquil and natural. The foot massage that I received was exceptional. my feet and my legs felt so good and light for the rest of the day. The service and attention from the staff was outstanding. Overall, my experience was absolutely terrific and I would definitely go back. if you are interested in massage, this is definitely the place to go. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I have been there twice and had a couples massage. The experience was extraordinary. The owner and staff were very friendly and gracious. The spa was clean and organized. We both left feeling rejuvenated and cant wait to go back.

I have visited the Olive Tree Spa 3 times for massages, and it is now my go to spot for a massage! The spa is homey and quaint - its located in a converted house. I love this place - I think the prices and massages are excellent. So so so good!!! Everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful. I have had good luck getting appointments on the same day that I want to go in. My high school aged daughter also loves it. Its hard to find things to do together with your teenager, but this has been a fun way to get some self-care and have a little time together.

Really a gem! Been here many times and have always been so physically and mentally relaxed. It’s clean and serene. Very happy with all visits! Communicate any concerns and they will gladly rectify. Can’t wait to go back 😊

I phoned Angela before going there and explained it. We agreed and she promised but did not honored it which is a big red flag on her part! Plus telling almost dictating your customer what to tip is a big turn off!!Wouldn’t recommendThe guy who massaged was good thoHe deserve better

The spa is clean and the service is great. I just ran the Brooklyn Half Marathon and my feet and calves were in need of help. By the time I was done I was as good as new. The herbal neck pillow was an added bonus.

Not great, but it wasnt okay either. I had gotten my husband and I a couples massage for Valentine’s Day and we were super excited. However, our expectations weren’t met. First, we weren’t asked if there were any key spots that they should really focus on (I’ve been to massages before and they usually ask). Second, I didn’t like how it was not a private room. It was a large room with drapes to divide up the room. So we would hear the other people on the other side. And the floors were so creaky that you could hear all the steps. It definitely wasn’t quiet. Third, i had the male who was a little rough and felt like he rushed through everything. My husband had a female and said he felt like he owed her money with how hard she was going. Such a shame because I was very hopefully of this place seeing how many good reviews they have.

Recently spent a few hours here on a full body message (not my first) and a foot message (first time). This was an amazing experience. The message was amazing and I felt like all the “knots and issues” were worked out. The foot message was my firsts and will not be my last. I am hard of my feet on an everyday basis - and the message was so spot on. I am honestly thinking the foot message might have to be a monthly occurrence like a pedicure. I 100% recommend calling and making yourself an appointment- you will not be disappointed!

My wife dragged me to a spa for a couple massage which I have never done before. It was absolutely amazing. They started with a foot massage which was the beginning of relaxation. Then onto a body massage that left me so relaxed that I fell asleep. The hot stones were the ending of what I can say was one of the most relaxing massages Ive ever had. Thanks ladies for helping my wife and I get all our stresses out. We will definitely be back.

First this spa is owned by licensed massage therapists and industry professionals. They know what you need and give you so many promos/discounts to become long term clients. Like any spa, find your go-to masseuse and stick with them. Having a long term relationship allows the masseuse to understand your body and where you need the attention. They stretch you out while massaging as well. The essential oils make a huge difference- as well as the medical grade bio-freeze they have for athletes. I’d feel sore and drained after a tennis match and would get my legs massaged, then would leave with a new body. The fact that many tennis players from my club go here is a huge testament to Olive Tree’s professionalism and knowledgeable staff. Don’t compare this place to other no-thrills Asian massage parlors. Olive Tree spa has “heated” beds (huge difference) and an actual private couples room. At minimum, please tip your masseuse accordingly - they have suggested tip amounts posted on wall. Cash is a plus! Love this place!

First time I visited this spa. The place is very clean and own by Korean. I had a Korean lady her name was Hellen and She was the best massager I had. Every other massage place I went they just rubbing but this place was so good.I can wait to go back . Money is worth it

I did a couples massage yesterday. My partner enjoyed his massage. The place was clean and that I can nicely comment on.My massage was terrible and I regret tipping (but I felt bad because I bought a Groupon).The lady who I had was so aggressive the entire time, but not in a good way.She used her forearm for the entire massage and I felt her forearm bones crunching over and over again on my back and spine. Her movements were so fast and so rough, not relaxing at all.There was one point she did something really hard on me and my foot lifted up as a reflex. She SLAPPED my foot down.I definitely will not be going back, but gave it two stars for cleanliness and because my partner had a good experience.

I will not be returning to this place. THEY WILL SHAKE YOU DOWN FOR 40% TIP. Went in for a foot massage with my mom today and it’s was a less than pleasant experience. I had specifically requested the older man I’m familiar with for my message.After the owner assured me he’d be available I took his word. He had us sitting their for 15 minutes after the appointment. Finally the two masseuses arrive, I see that both are women. I gave the lady the benefit of the doubt rather than making a big deal about.She did a very poor job. It was 80% tapping and slapping. Finally we pay and then hand money to the massage girls to tip. They handed it right over to the owner (which is an immediate red flag because it means he’s taking their tips). He then points to a sign that demand $20 tip per person for a 1 hr massage. That is 40% add on to the total. The fact that he’s taking it from them is an even bigger disgrace.

My first time at Olive Tree Spa today and brought my friend for the 60 minute couples massage with aromatherapy massage oil and hot stones. It was amazing; the best massage either of us have had! The owners of the place are also very sweet and hospitable. Both my friend and I have already planned for our next appointment!!Parking: When you are driving up, with Olive Tree on the right side, turn into the street right before the place. There is a small parking lot on your left, right behind the building!

The front staff is very friendly and helpful, and the massage therapists know what they are doing. I left a happy customer; it was worth every penny

Facilities are always extremely clean (probably the cleanest Ive been to). I personally think the price is well worth the service that you are getting, and of course you should be tipping your masseuse!

I got a deal. Buy 10 foot massages get 2 free. So glad I did this for myself because I actually make time to go and every time I go it is amazing. Quiet, smells great, soothing music. It’s restorative. Love this place. Will definitely continue going and referring people.

This was the most unpleasant, unprofessional and uncomfortable massage my husband and I have ever received. My masseuse walks in and blurts out at me “ARE YOU NERVOUS??” Not a great sign. During the massage she asked me if I was okay (because I was so tense) to which I responded it was rough, and she said “at least you’re not dying” and continued to be rough bc I “needed it”. (This exchange happened multiple times, another time she chuckled “you’re alive”. It felt like she hated me.) There was a lot of side conversations between various employees the whole time in their native language, which we understood. The room was very cold and it was obvious because they made many comments to each other about how our hands and feet were cold. Yet, they would not turn on the heat. You could also hear other people getting their massages and all the traffic outside, so it doesn’t feel private or relaxing at all. At the end of the massage, my husband’s masseuse said we have nice skin to which my masseuse retorted with “I couldn’t tell because their skin is so dry”. She also started clapping at my husband to wake up so we could get dressed and leave. To top it all of, we were going to tip $50 to be nice and respectful since we are also Korean. Then, the man at the register pointed at their sign of “suggested tip”, implying it’s forced not suggested. Do not pay money for this. My body feels worse now then before.

One of the best massages I’ve had! Went in for a 90 min couples massage with my husband. We loved the energy and ambiance of the place! Everyone was kind and sweet! 10/10 recommend and there are wonderful places to eat near by. My personal favorite is KBBQ from The Meat Bros! Don’t second doubt it just book!

Every masseuse has different style so you can find the right person for you. The owners are knowledgeable with oils and methods to suit your needs. They have in-house specials and packages unadvertised so purchase on-site and bring cash for tips.

Weve been coming to Olive Spa for the past 3 years because our first and fourth experience were good, but will not be coming back because of the poor customer service. During the massage, I experienced two painful moments. My masseuse (Leni) was doing a good job until he decided to use his elbows (pointed downwards) on the right side of my spine. During this process, I verbally expressed pain but he continued pressing down and finished his movement. Once finished, he asked if I noticed how it opened out.. I felt very tense where he worked on and directly pointed out that it was pretty painful. He retorted on how I should try a deep tissue massage as if I didnt have experience getting a massage. He was, however, much more careful on the other side asking if pressure was ok and decided against using the same movement. This was until he decided to stretch my legs, where he literally yanked on of my legs open to the point it hurt again. Again, I pointed it out and he adjusted on the other side. The leg stretch wasnt too bad but I could feel my right shoulder aching.One hour later, Im starting to feel an uncomfortable pain on my right shoulder and a sharper pain when removing my shirt. This was when I decided to call the place and to just let them know what happened. The male store owner picked up and told him I had a pain where this happened. He just said that it was normal to feel uncomfortable after a massage and to let us know if I felt the same after a week, pretty much dismissing my concern. When youre in the health and spa industry, customer service is a huge part of the business. This kind of treatment is unacceptable.4 hours later there is still a dull pain on my right shoulder. Really thought we found a decent massage place but its been too inconsistent and the first time I brought up a concern, it was met with a dismissive defense.*UpdateOlive Tree reached out to me to me with a complimentary massage to make things right, assuring me they had a professional this time. The massage was just ok, but I appreciated their effort to improve customer service so I’m bumping my 1 star to 3 star. Not sure if this masseuse (Lily) knew the other masseuse, but during the massage she mentioned that I may have been tense during my last session which could’ve caused my injury. Again, downward elbow to the spine is never ok and I’m really hesitant to go back.

The place is super clean and relaxing. My husband and I received the 90 min couples massage that focused on the body, head, and feet, with aroma oil of our choice and hot stones. We’ve been to many massage places, from affordable to luxury, and this was our favorite visit. The masseuse really knew where my bad areas were without me telling her, which was great. Would love to come back next month!

The only complaint I have is the jazzy music. It’s not relaxing. It feels like you’re in a cocktail bar. I prefer the zen/meditation music.

This was absolutely the WORST massage Ive ever had. My friends and I decided to have a girls day and I was looking forward to getting this massage. I left filled with tears and disappointment.To start, it was very warm in the room and to put your head in the pillow felt suffocating.My masseuse, Charlie was terrible. He never introduced himself (I found out his name at the checkout) or asked if I had any pain points or concerns. Nothing. The entire time he rubbed me like he hated me and didnt want to touch me. It was EXTREMELY rough and harsh. I told him multiple times it was unpleasant. I felt like a chicken being rubbed down in oil! At one point I saw one of the other masseuses give him a look to indicate he was being too rough. He didnt care and just wanted to finish. The worst part is that he had a sniffle the entire time. So imagine being rubbed aggressively and constantly hearing someone sniff their runny nose over you.This was a complete waste of my time and money. I NEVER be back again.

Im not the type of person who leaves reviews but holy cow I just had a wonderful session in Olive Tree.My masseuse Evelynn, had literal magic hands. Ive never dozed off before like that ever and I feel so relaxed and refreshed. I also received a hot pack and essential oil during the massage.Will be coming back here again thats for sure!

I am definitely making this my go to place for massages! I went in for a couples massage with my boyfriend but Ive been really overworked from my job and had some back and shoulder pain. My masseuse immediately knew where my pain was located without me even telling her and she went in to get rid of all my knots. She knew exactly what to do and how to help me feel better. Their service was also incredible and made us feel so comfortable and welcomed.

This was the worse massage ever. The lady looked like she was having a bad day. She was hurting me instead of making me feel relaxed. The next day I had 2 black and blue on my lower back. Also when she put the hot towel on my back she burned me. I am telling you the next day i felt beat up and it was my birthday 😢.Be prepare to tip whatever they tell you to tip too.

This place is amazing and clean. Staffs are very professional and kind. I went 3 weeks ago and I brought my mom yesterday for the 90 mins. massage. Sherie is excellent, very knowledgeable doing all the procedure and knowing all areas that need to be treated. But I think prices are a little exceed because on top the price you must give an established tip.But in overall Were very satisfied!

2nd time back there was disappointing.Made appointment for couples massage 90 minutes at $100.00 per person for a total of $200.00 as per pricing on website.Upon checkout the lady(owner) tells me to look at sign next next to register where it says mandatory $30 dollars per person to be added to bill so it comes to $130.00 person.I dont know about you but the word gratuity is a subjective word thats given based upon performance and satisfaction for or minus the service if it was good or bad. That is sketchy and completely misleading.I also am in the service business and its a horrible way to extract more out of the consumer with undisclosed tactics at onset.Gratuity is subjective period.For this reason we wont be returning.We use these services quite often and we will be taking our business (which is alot) elsewhere.very Disappointed. A paying customer.

It was cozy and clean, and it was very nice. The price was good and the people who worked there did a good job. This place has wonderful staff and owners. They always provide me with the best smelling massage oils and as a previous spa owner, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice massage! The atmosphere in this shop is super relaxing and I always enjoy my massages to the calming music.

Worst spa service ever! My dad and I went to this spa for the first time. Both my dad and I decided to do the 60 minutes massage with olive oil. They automatically massage us for less then one hour exactly 35 minutes because for me the women disappeared for more than 4 minutes for five to six times. My dad said that the massage was not good at all. At the end they force charged us $40 tip and $160 bucks for the services together $200. I will never go to this place again and nor do I recommend going to it. They just want to eat your money for no service at all.

Went for a massage with my husband. We were shown to the couples massage room upstairs. I asked for a light massage and the lady really delivered. She knew what points were sore and deepend/lessened the pressure accordingly. It was very relaxing. The place is very quiet and clean. I would definitely visit again!

Horrible! One room is separated by curtains and there are multiple massaging beds. We were the first ones in the room. After the massage started, management started getting the other room’s ready and they were so loud! Laughing and walking back and forth with flip flops. I couldn’t relax and enjoy my experience at all. AC was the background noice blasting instead of the calming music too. I heard a guy talking and I got super uncomfortable. At one point, I looked up to see if they were in our “room”. After the massage they forced us to tip $40. The guy upfront said that “this is not a restaurant. This is the business. Everywhere is like that.” Very unprofessional.

Very clean, relaxing, bright place. I got the hot stone body / hot stone foot massage combo and it was divine. Friendly, sweet staff too. They gave me the option to change the channel, or turn it off, but as a professional dancer I loved that they were playing silent Charlie Chaplin films on the screen during the foot massage. 🙂

I too give it 2 stars for cleanliness, and good technician.Do not apprecite to be mandated for a 40% tip on a foot massage.Thats plain bad business!

Massage was great. They listen to your request and target stress areas with more pressure. Its my first visit and would definitely come again.

The only reason theyre not getting one star is because my wife enjoy the massage the reason for my review is they have whats called a recommended tip or suggested tip which is fine but when the tip equals to 30% of what you paid it does not make any sense your price gouging on a tip it cost $100 for a 90-minute massage I gave $25 tip to the person at the counter that still wasnt good enough I would rather you charge more for the service than to tell me my $25 tip is not good enough for service that cost $100. That doesnt make any sense I work for tips

I truly enjoy the massages here. Cindy has magical hands, she removes all the stress from my body. I leave the parlor feeling 10/years younger and 20/lbs lighter.

The sweetest staff. The lay out of the spa is beautiful and has spaces for all kinds of massage. I recommend the full body with hot stone.

This is a great place, very clean and the staffs are very welcoming and professional. Every time I go there I ask for Joe, he is so good at what he does, and he helped me so much with my back pain and neck, and I recommended him to all my friends and they all loved him.

The place is okay however be prepared to being cumpolsorily forced to pay gratuities of 35% to 50%. I dont think it is Legal and the Local chamber of commerce should look into why customers are being FORCED to pay this.... Horrible attitude by owners.

So glad I found this spa! I drove by the other day and decided to book a foot massage appointment. Upon entering, I was pleased to see how clean and serene it was. Friendly staff greeted me at the door and took me in immediately. The chairs were extremely comfortable, and I absolutely adored the small details and special touches, like the foot bath and warm neck pillow. The atmosphere was very relaxing, with soft music playing quietly over the speakers. My massage therapist was fantastic, applying the perfect amount of pressure and caused me to essentially melt into the chair. Very reasonably priced for the amount of care that goes into each massage. I can’t wait to go back!!
