I recently experienced a massage and cupping session for the first time, and it was truly fantastic. Ning was not only kind but also incredibly skilled. The atmosphere was wonderful - the place was spotlessly clean, warmly inviting, and exuded a relaxing scent that enhanced the entire experience. Both the massage and cupping techniques helped with my muscle tightness, cramping, knots, and pain issues. I went to Lanikai beach spa today for a couples massage. The location was a little hard to find following the GPS it actually takes you to the wrong location, but however Nina was very helpful in getting us to the right place. The facility is very clean and inviting the staff is very professional, caring and pays attention to your special areas of concern. They offer a lot of different services and the prices are very reasonable, we did the couples oil hot stone massage with the sugar foot scrub which felt really good. The massage finished off the with a hot towel to wipe off all of the oil, we left feeling invigorating and refreshed. We will definitely go back and try some of the other services.

Last week，I went to this spa. I have to say that it was one of the best experiences Ive had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.The spa itself was beautifully decorated and had a calming ambience that instantly relaxed me. Ning were all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. My treatment was amazing, and I felt completely rejuvenated afterwards. Ning was highly skilled and really took the time to ensure that I was comfortable and happy throughout the entire process.Overall, I would highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a truly relaxing experience. I cant wait to go back again soon!

Ning is amazing! She will get you the treatment you need and fit you in. Ive done several different services and they are all top notch. Teresas massages are unreal - she finds the tension spots and gets you leaving feeling so much better. The cupping is my normal go to lately, Ning is a wizard with this treatment. You have to experience it. Today I tried a facial cupping -- AMAZING! My under eyes and skin look so radiant - bags and puffs gone. It was also very relaxing. You wont be disappointed visiting Lanikai Spa - so worth it.

It was my first time getting a facial and it was with Ning who was so sweet and kind! My appointment was at 3:30 and we started exactly at that time. The room I had my facial in was very clean and comfortable from the temperature, relaxing music. Her welcoming presence, and knowledge with her job made me feel so comfortable having her work on my face. I enjoyed every minute of my facial and plan to come back soon! We had the couple’s massage with hot stones and feet sugar scrub. Ning and Teresa worked through our tightness and knots, relaxing us. My hubby fell asleep during his massage with Teresa. Booking was easy and accommodating with prompt responses. Lanikai Beach Spa is a relaxing venue, beautifully decorated and clean. This not our first visit and definitely will not be our last! I came here for a 70 minute massage with sugar scrub. It is a very nice place and very big, however I think they could benefit from utilizing all the massage rooms & hiring a larger staff.My massage started about 30 minutes late, but the therapist did work on me a little longer. I felt better after the massage but definitely not fully relieved. I will probably go for a Thai massage or a Deep Tissue massage soon again, to really address my tension concerns because I needed something with a bit more pressure.Be aware they do not carry change for tipping. The owner automatically assumed I wanted to leave a 25% tip on top of the service (which I did not due to the fact of starting behind schedule and not really feeling like this was top notch/top tier 4 or 5 star service). Not saying it was bad or horrible by any means but the experience could have been better. I had no option but to leave the higher amount so just a heads up to anyone considering this place.

Was visiting my sister in Honolulu, I had a horrible experience at a different place the day before. I contacted Lanikai Beach Spa based on reviews. I was leaving the very next day and I shared that with the owner and she was kind and squeezed me for the very next morning! The massage was amazing, my sugar foot rub was nice too. The stones felt amazing. Teresa was so sweet and had a very sweet spirit, helped me to feel more relaxed. The facility is very pretty and clean. Fabulous atmosphere. I even bought a gift card for my sister’s (she resides here) birthday! Scheduling was easy because you’re able to text with the owner. I’ll be visiting for another massage next year!

The owner is fantastic and is an amazingly skilled massage therapist. The pressure applied is perfect and the technique is very relaxing. Im a very big guy and she could easily hurt me with how strong she is if she didnt know what she was doing but thankfully she really does and I fall asleep nearly every time from how relaxed I am. She keeps up on all her certifications and it shows so you know shes legit! I go there nearly every week and I never regret a single penny of it. We had a girls day at Lanikai Beach Spa and it was perfect! You could get a massage, facial, manicure, pedicure or a combination of pampering. I had a manicure and pedicure. My feet needed special attention for health reasons. Ning was very attentive, used various products to help my dry skin, allowed time for absorption, and she was very gentle. Ning is a very caring person and you can see it in her work. I was so happy with the great results, my skin was calmer, healthier looking and feeling normal. Theres lots of parking, reasonable priced and very clean. You deserve a little piece of heaven that Lanikai Beach Spa offers.

Ning was super responsive and easy to book. She was willing to work around my schedule during my time in Oahu for a couples massage. The place was clean and the atmosphere was relaxing. They have you fill out an information sheet before you go in so you can select your preferred pressure and if you have any problem areas. I also liked how they used the hot stone to massage my back. Lanikai Beach Spa is the best! I initially intended to accompany someone for a consultation, only to find out that there was a lot that this spa offers. I have tried the lash lift twice, and both experiences were great! The results just keep getting better and better, and also lasted longer than expected. No downtime needed, and very easy to maintain. It gives off a very natural vibe, but made my lashes look longer, fuller and more curled.This past weekend, I came in to avail of the Hydrafacial treatment, which was the newest addition to the the spa/clinic. It was my first time to try it out in my entire life, but I had no doubts about it since I trusted Ning completely. The treatment was painless and as a newbie to this, Ning walked me through all the steps to make sure that I was still aware of what was happening throughout the procedure. It was extremely satisfying how much cleaner my face looked and felt after the facial, and even days after. I’m definitely coming in for more sessions.I’ve lost count of how many times I have come in for a massage, just because I keep coming back to the spa for it. I have had both Ning and Mandy do my massage, and all experiences have been equally relaxing. They always ask to check if pressure is fine, and adjust it in the way that it has been requested. The beds and rooms they use are always clean, smell fresh and very spacious. My body always feels refreshed after I have my massage done.Ning, along with her staff, know their craft well and always do it perfectly. On top of that, they recommend the services they have that they believe will be the best fit for you. Discovered this place from Groupon. I usually survey a few different massage places via Groupon before landing on one as a regular. Theresa was my massage therapist, and she was wonderful. Communication for appointment, price and directions was excellent...however I was still 3 minutes late 😓 and they were very gracious. Will book again!

Lanikai Beach Spa was so worth the trip from Waikiki Beach! The Spa itself was cute, clean and relaxing. Nalani and Mandy gave my friend and myself such good massages we ended up booking two more over the course of our vacation. Both Nalani and Mandy are professional, attentive, friendly, warm and really work to give attention to and resolve the key problem areas you tell them about and the ones they find in the process! Also, Ning, who booked our massages was incredibly kind to us and went out of her way to make us feel welcome, even going above and beyond by texting us recommendations of restaurants and beautiful beaches in the area. I found Lanikai Beach Spa through Yelp a year ago, since then Ive gone there for various treatments, from lash lifts to massages. Ning and her staff are so kind and accommodating, the facility is well-kept, with ample parking onsite. Ning really takes the time to explain to me the source and possible causes of pain, thoroughly answers my questions, empathizes with my concerns, and even checks-in to see how Im doing after visits. I really feel taken care of during my visits. I highly recommend! Ask for Ning if you have any questions before your first visit.

One of the best massages I’ve had on the island. Did a couples massage consisting of hot stones and a foot scrub. The ladies treated mine and my husbands body differently, we each had different points we wanted/needed focused on and they did not disappoint. Will be back.

I hade the absolute best massage ever my husband and I got the couples massage first let me I’m a massage therapist myself and I very difficult to find someone who can just do good without saying anything to them Ning and Theresa were so sweeet very nice super inviting made me feel very comfortable. TLDR:Good: cute message for our anniversary, my wifes massage was goodBad: ended early, my massage therapist did not seem well trained and likely did as much damage as therapyMy wife and I went for our anniversary and used a 70-minute couples massage Groupon. They put up a cute message saying Happy Anniversary on the screen behind the desk which was a nice touch and the therapist who helped us with the paperwork and payment was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was not great. We did arrive several minutes late and had to complete the initial paperwork which meant the massage started later than our appointment time. We did arrive late but one would think they would allow a few minutes for the paperwork and not end strictly at the 70-minute mark from the scheduled start time. But when the massage ended it was not even 70 minutes from the scheduled start time. There was a clock in the room and they tried to tell us it was slow and told us to compare it to the time on my phone. Even factoring in the 2 minutes the clock was off it still ended at least 5 minutes early. My wifes therapist was good, but my massage was so bad that I was actually happy it had ended early. My therapist seemed to rely heavily on using elbows instead of technique to apply firm pressure, and she did not seem to have an adequate understanding of anatomy or body mechanics. At one point she was using her thumb to apply very firm pressure to the side of my neck and anterior (front) part of my trapezius. It was very uncomfortable and I was concerned because the brachial plexus (nerves which make your arm work) is located in that area. When I asked what she was working on she said, this muscle, and going down to the shoulder which made me think she actually did not understand the anatomy or know exactly what she was targeting. During other parts of the massage she needed to move an arm or a leg but whereas other massage therapists will bend the knee or reposition the arm in a smooth motion and replace it in a position that does not require you to do anything, her movements were awkward and kept getting stuck on the sheet covering me and when she placed my arms back on the table I had to move them so they did not fall off the sides. I have only selected a few problems but if I wrote about everything this review would be even ridiculously longer than it already is. Normally I love massage with very firm pressure but the problem with using only elbows or thumbs to achieve pressure is the way that force is magnified when it is applied to a very small area instead of being spread out a little more using the palms. Bone vs muscle is damaging, not therapeutic. Overall, if you go to Lanikai Beach Spa for a massage and get the petite Asian woman you will probably have a good experience.

We went in for a couples massage and received such a friendly, attentive and worth while massage. They were very respectful, paid attention to every trouble area and the spa itself was super clean with a very professional set up. If we are ever back on the island again we will definitely make it a point to come back here!

I’ve been to see Ning at Lanikai beach Spa over the past couple months. Mostly because I have ulcerative colitis and the cupping along with massage helps a great deal. I’ve also started a diet back in December of 2019 and I know holistic and alternative natural healing and medicine is significantly better for me. After every cupping session I feel like I have more energy, more relaxed, I sleep better and more hungry. The cupping helps your digestive system processes which In-turn improves digestion and metabolism. The cupping along with diet has helped me lose 30lbs so far. But I have to remind myself proper diet and consistency is the key!!The place of business itself is very clean and well organized. Makes me fell right at home. Ning is super nice and very knowledgeable about everything she offers. My wife goes to Ning for cupping and facials now as well. My wife said it’s by far the facial she has gotten!! I have been going about every week to every other week and I will continue to go even after I reach my goals. For me cupping and healthy diet is the way to go. My wife says I even look younger. 😀🙏. OMG 😳 😱 😆. Just try it out yourself . I did the deep massage 💆‍♂️ with the cupping . Before I couldn’t touch my back but now ,I’m as flexible as a 🐱 cat(meow!). What is cupping you ask?
