This dance club definitely caters to the 18 - 24 crowd. If you’re looking for EDM/House you will probably be disappointed here. Popular rap and grind pop keep the dance floor full here. There’s ample parking. There was a $10 cover charge.

This was my first night club me and my friends ever been too. We went at around late 10 pm. Bouncers were quick and professional. Dance floor was fun and the staff was doing their job properly watching patrons to make sure nothing crazy is going on.I enjoyed it here and had fun even though I’m not the dancing type. Also the bartenders were really friendly as well.I give it a 9/10. Very cool place and these negative reviews sound like a bunch of bratty teenagers lmao. Oh yeah and the mango margarita(?) i had was AMAZING.

One of the worst DJs, he wasnt doing anything. Im pretty sure he was faking. All he played were rap songs and nothing else, not even EDM. I went there on a Saturday night and I was there till midnight. Pools tables were Out of Order. Drinks are not great but resonably priced. There is a $5 cover charge to enter the club. Also, I dont like the location of this place, feels isolated and unsafe.

Love the atmosphere of this place! The patrons are very friendly, everyone just wants to dance and have a good time. Drinks are ,meh, unless it’s a straight shot but then the price is high. Not all of the bartenders are nice, the first bar before entering dance floor, this person always has an attitude and serves who she chooses when she wants. Foam party is great! You don’t have to get wet if you don’t want, smoking area is outside with cute light up cube seats. It’s a really nice place to chill. College crowd with last years music.

Went here when I was 15. With a friend and even with cops outside they didn’t pay attention and let me in There were always fights At around 1 am and they didn’kick me out when I was drinking they just took it 😂😂 kinda glad it got shut down

8/27/21Energy was a good place to go for a night out, but unfortunately the music they play isn’t something you can really get down to, and a lot of there songs are repeat. I do enjoy the theme nights though, and how easy it is to make friends. It’s kinda a hit or miss each time I go.

Forgot to leave this review but let me just say the double standards on dress code is stupid and ridiculous. You’re telling me, the women are allowed to dress scandalously clad but the guys can’t wear a tank top? On top of that, once I was able to enter there were 6 men with tank tops so your bouncers need some work. I don’t care what people wear but if you’re going to stop me for wearing a tank top, the girls who are 30 percent clothed should get the same treatment lol. Also the environment and atmosphere felt super gross for my friends who are girls and people were rowdy in terms of just wanting to start fights. Drinks were great and the DJ was chill. but everything else was just rancid. Not a great first impression and I don’t recommend anyone to come here frankly.

Security lets me and girlfriend in. We go to the front desk and the lady says that my girlfriend has to take off the beanie, yet I was allowed to wear a bucket hat. Music sound good from outside but we decided to leave. They should make this rule known to us before we walk in.

Im sharing this review after over an entire year of visiting this place regularly. This is the experience of a 23/24 year old male at this nightclub.THE FIRST IMPRESSIONI understand this is an 18+ nightclub, and there are countless people in the city who write the place off having not gone themselves for having folks that are 18 in the club. I want to stress that this club is meant for people who are not there to just hang out/lounge, so dont have that expectation that this is another bar that tries to market themselves as a club with music that you can find a lot of places. Lets just be real, younger crowds make the most out of this scene. As a DJ myself, I know this. But never forget that they are still young adults and deserve to party (in the same fashion as everyone else) just as much as anyone else in this city. This is for people who enjoy drinks and dancing. If you like to jump, hoot, and holler at dance music festivals/concerts and very much enjoy EDM and popular songs of the past decade, Energy Nightclub is for you and is available to you every weekend for just a $5 cover.THE DJsDJ Steve the Greek is there on Fridays and Fuseamania is there on Saturdays. These two DJs are simply the best I can find in Cincinnati to keep a crowd buzzing. On a special rare occasions, the owner Danny (or DJ SAB) might make an appearance for a small portion of the night and absolutely knock your socks off. Always grateful when he comes and takes over when he doesnt need to. You can expect a fusion of pop, hip-hop, and edm every week with an ever-evolving library of music and mixes from each.THE ATMOSPHERECincinnati is incredibly fortunate to have a true nightclub such as this. When I travel, I always try to find the best club and visit every big city I go. Ive been to places like Los Angeles Exchange LA and Bostons Royale - some large, big money nightclubs. Energy rivals these as far as the production quality of their sound system, DJ talent, and their lighting/lasers, and overall production quality! On special days they may have foam parties and other special events to spice up the fun. Bartenders are very polite almost always. If you get to know them they are happy to see you and chat. Lily is a sweetheart! Most of them remember my favorite drinks by now and that earns them some points too :) (tip your bartenders)SAFETYFights happen, unwanted attention happens, the lot. This nightclub is crowded, very loud, and pretty dark. Everything needed for people to break out of their shells. Many of the men want some extra attention. Ive heard complaints from people I know that claim they dont go because of these things. Heres how Energy deals with this. Security staff is everywhere. Police are on location every night. If you fall victim to anything belligerent or inappropriate, security is alert and always nearby if you need to call for them. In most cases, the bad guy is escorted out and usually banned if necessary. (Im pretty sure part of them scanning your ID at entry is also checking that youre in good standing with the club)Thats all! Take my word for it and see for yourself!

A group of friends and I decided to go here last weekend for a show. Definitely not our vibe or crowd. They advertised food trucks but only had one. They told us in the beginning that you had to eat before you came in or you had to pay for re-entry which is a gross money grab. About 9pm they told us we could go out for food so we went and sure enough they denied entry claiming our friend was too drunk which is laughable because they picked the person who had drank the least out of the entire group. But it was cool because the place was disgusting, I had to wash my shoes when I got home from stepping in spilled drinks all over the bathroom. The bouncers were incredibly rude and after reading the businesses responses to other reviews on here it makes sense. As another local business owner this place is completely unprofessional and I will make sure everyone knows not to go here. Mecca is a much nicer venue that I highly recommend over this place.

4 dollar beers and $6 dollar shots can’t complain from a nightclub when the local mom and pop is charging the same amount per shot! Be ware there is a $10 fee which is ridiculous and the worst part of the whole experience. The dj isn’t worth that but if you want to experience something new and fun I recommend coming here!

If I could give this place a zero, I would but that’s not possible so I give it a one. No gin whatsoever so my friend with alcohol sensitivities couldn’t even drink anything there, and the energy was just chaotic, sloppy and it was definitely underage drinking central. I felt like I was in a high school homecoming, which we all know is kinda lame. Don’t go here if you want to have fun if you’re in college or over the age of 19. The one thing that redeemed this place was security. Everyone was wanded before entry, and the entry fee was only around $5 per person. Red Bulls we’re $4/a piece for a price point gauge.

The energy was high. Cool hang out. DJ was rocking. The bartenders were sweet.

I love this club I have been going there for 2 years and it has been a good experience, the music can be questionable for me but everyone has different tastes so it’s good for all people. I so feel like they should have an age limit since it’s 18+ and there is sometimes pretty older men in there. Make sure you go with a decent group of people and if you’re ever having problems talk to security they’re very helpful! Overall a very wonderful club. Also make sure you can hold you’re liquor they don’t tolerate people who are trashed and can’t even stand up!

This establishment hardly deserves one star. Ill never go back. If youre in the LGBTQ community stay away. They are judgemental and totally out of line. This place is garbage. Its very clear by the way management responds to negative reviews that whoever is running this place is extremely unprofessional. Also the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. There was urine all over the floor. LIKE EVERYWHERE. so gross. The security guard said hes been a security guard since 2096 ? That doesnt even make sense. These people are a JOKE.To add to this since Ive seen your response. This is not cancel culture this is a bad review because my experience at your establishment was terrible. The music is trash. They play the oldest songs they can find. Most i havent heard since high school. If they are going to charge a cover every time, people need to get their money worth. Play music thats more recent and not from 2010. Its literally over 10 years later. I like the atmosphere because the people really want to turn up, but cant. I will go back but if the music doesnt get better, we will find another spot

First off, I am unsure why there are 1-star ratings, because this club is by far the best I’ve been to! The staff care about your experience and needs. Every time I’ve attended this club, I’ve been satisfied with that being a close to my night. I enjoy myself every time I go there and I always meet new people! I recommend this place to anyone looking to have a fun and safe night out.

Everyone was very kind including the staff and guests. The cover and drink charges were reasonable. The DJ was fire and the foam pit was a nice touch.

!!!!!! Several months ago I experienced the upmost dismissive and inconclusive behavior. I became blacklisted because I received mis information from an ex friend regarding 2 female patrons who he subsequently wanted to offer my shots to. I had shots for only my self. So we all consumed the shots - considering the fact security lets people by pass the line without wrtistbands I took my friends word that they were 21 which subsequently was a lie. When In retrospect I probably should of done my own investigation knowing its 21 year old s with and without wristbands because of the express line. Which is fine I just should of been more wiser and diligent preventing this whole ordeal. Keep in mind Im a consistent long term patron spanning 4+ years when it was called Pulse. Considering the fact I was giving no prior warning or heads up just immediate blacklist was extremely disingenuous. And email contact has been unsuccessful. I was a huge advocate and supporter of this establishment. And because of one persons discretion its affecting my id in the network. Instead of just keeping it isolated to the specific venue. I just feel thats not how you treat a longstanding customer. No warning - No follow up questions - just inconclusive video and her say then bye your banned. I could go on with other unprofessional things Ive heard from patrons but I rather keep this about me.

The guards stayed with me and my friend as she was intoxicated, we were there for an hour waiting for my ride, they chased away a guy who showed up numerous times to try to get to us and the guards kept us safe. They are amazing and I love the staff!!! 10/10 recommend cause they are amazing!

A group of friends and I took a 4 hour trip just to check out this nightclub. We enjoyed ourselves, the bartenders were excellent, the venue was upbeat and fun. The next day we discovered I had lost my keys. We reached out to the owner and he met us at the club to get my keys for me. This is the type of owner who cares about his customers. Our group will be coming back!

Very nice venue. Amazing stage crew! Amazing Production company! Everyone there was so kind and helpful. I’ve been going to Energy ever since the age of 22. This place was just not for me. It was a Saturday night when I went and it seemed like there were some people there but also no one. I mainly did not like it because one of the male bartenders got a little snappy with me. I stirred my boyfriends drink while he signed the check and WAS NOT HOLDING IT, it was sitting on the bar the bartender tapped my wrist and said “where’s your band sweetie”. I proceeded to explain that I was the DD and he said “yeah sure, you’re not even allowed to touch it”. He was using a rude tone of voice for not reason, I don’t appreciate him touching me and ruined my night. Definitely not going back.

Great music, always great themes, DRINKS!!! Ofc are amazing. Over all great place. Staff is amazing. Take their jobs seriously and care about your well being if it’s noticed you’re too drunk. This location is sadly closed. In fact, the building complex is fixing to be torn down sadly. Energy will be missed.

Went Saturday 11/5. Drinks are stiff and priced fair. DJ was great. Alot of people under 21, but was still a fun time. No one came to get kicked out.

William below is a liar. You sound like someone that works there or that use to work there. This place is rude and girls only like you if you’re a thug that looks like a rapper or someone living in poverty.

For the price, this place is pretty good. The music is a mix of everything; you will get good and bad songs but mostly good in my opinion. The building has some nice renovations. The club also has fun events to participate in if you would like but not mandatory (i.e. foam party). The place is well staffed and friendly as long as you aren’t doing anything you aren’t suppose to. The only thing that I didn’t completely like is that it is 18+ club so you will see a lot of younger people. This wasn’t a huge problem as they tend to behave but be careful when approaching someone. The parking lot is huge and well priced if you are looking to drive there. As much fun as you are looking to have, this place will provide it. I definitely recommend giving it try.

I went for my first time for their glow paint party. I had so much fun! The employees were awesome, dancing and friendly. The bar tenders were so kind, and one girl even did a little trick or 2 with our drinks before handing them to us! The music selection was great! A few friends and I even started a dance circle! I cant wait to go back and have an amazing experience there once again! I would for sure recommend going to this club!

Been going here for the past few weekends, and had alot of fun. The music is meh, but not bad. The bathrooms can get pretty sticky and dirty thought the night, which is not great. It would be nice if they established some sort of a rule on keeping distance from other patrons while dancing. Getting constantly smashed into, or shoved around by people forcing their way through is not the best. This is a club not a rock concert. There is a huge dance area, plenty of space to spread out. Other than that we have alot of fun here, and will continue to come back.

Originally was going to do 4 stars, but seeing a review of a 17 year old giving a 1 star because he couldn’t get it made me laugh, so here’s a 5. Music is meh, not much of a buildup on the music, just a lot of hyped beats on repeat. Alcohol is pretty solid price, try the mango drink. Big dance area & a nice chill outside area. Must say, this club has changed. Since the revamp the interior is very attractive and the light show quite impressive. The VIP Section felt close to the music but properly removed from the normal area. The whole place was clean and the dress code was well maintained. Music was solid and the DJ was very energetic. With a couple of friend this is a great place to spend the evening and the 18 up means anyone in college can come along. Will come back again!

Ive been to Energy several times and have always had a blast. Ive been to many nightclubs all over the world and this place ranks right up there with the top Vegas clubs. It has a good sized dance floor, great lights and rocking sound system. The bartenders were quick and served good drinks. Security is really cool, even on the night I had to much to drink and was a real jerk they were very patient and professional. Thanks guys. Keep doing what you do! I will definitely be back.

Nothing but teenagers, security is a bunch of insecure, judgemental dueches.. been going there for 6 years. This past year, they have really gone down hill. Cant sit here cant sit there. APSOLUTLY NO room for a mistake. If security dont like you they hit the button on the side of the metal wond so you cant get in. Pool tables dont even have all the balls. Floors are ALWAYS SOAKED in alcohol from little girls that cant handle there drinks. Security will walk the dance floor shining lights in everyones faces. The outside concrete IS NOT meant for heals whatsoever. If you are a full grown adult, I advise HEAVELY not to go here.

So I’ve been coming here for about two years with my sister and friends since I can’t get in anywhere else being under 21, and honestly im over it. In the beginning it was fine. However overtime we’ve watched this place go downhill.We rated five things and came up with an average rating of 2.4 stars1.Price 4/52.drinks 2/53.entertainment 2/54.cleanliness 1/55.staff 3/5The price is fine, but when you think of what you’re paying for it’s very much worth what you get. The women’s bathroom is always a gross mess and I know that not just the clubs fault but it could be looked after throughout the night.(and if it is once again I said I wasn’t the clubs fault entirely) The dance floor is covered in glass and drinks by the end of the night. Like I’m not sure who raised you people but have respect for others. There are trash cans placed around the dance floor.🤷🏼‍♀️ The music is mainly throwbacks or very boring. And that’s coming from someone who loves oldies but this is a night club, something more upbeat and up to date would be nice. The staff lol the bartenders are the nicest people working there!!!

Most unprofessional & hostile bouncers.Currently legally taking action because of Scott (one of the main bouncers) physically assaulting a friend with my friend not being outright or fight back at all. Really excited for Scott to get what he deserves! ( Luckily my close family member is in law & they told me they have camera with audio, so Im really excited to hear back from her to see what we can do and how we will be doing it! ).Of course seeing my friend whom is VERY innocent, fun loving person I was outright! I think I said every word in the book they deserved it! I spent 35 paying to friends to get in, then was kicked out not even 5 minutes later due to pants sagging slightly when we already went home to change once because of the dress code! Then I paid for them to get in and no one said anything else! I usually spend a lot of money there and I personally have a VIP card which was given to me by Scott! Ive seen him do this to SOME innocent people plenty of times but not this bad! I understand they need to protect themselves but there has been a couple times including this time Ive seen there was no threat.Somewhere I would never return again or tell my friends to go and Im kinda upset My birthday is in a week and had a party bus of 30-35 people coming then bar hopping after!

So I paid 60$ for me and my gf to get in on New Years. Security watched her walk into bathroom, then escorted me out saying I’m bumping into groups “under the influence”. I proceeded to tell security that I have not drank tonight(which I really didn’t, so I should’ve.) and he proceeded to grab me and pull me out. I was inside for maybe 1 minute before they kicked me out. If they thought I was under the influence, why’d you take my money and let me in?? This is not the club you want to go to. Also we drove over an hour just to get there. Sucked completely and took my money without refund. Hope it gets shut down. I recommend not going. Save your money and go somewhere better. Smells bad and bouncers are rude. Bathrooms were super dirty as well and the sound was terrible. The speakers in the front room sounded like they wanted to be put out of their misery

Had a fun night with friends! Great music and very nice staff! Was just a little hard to find at first since one of the parking entrances was blocked off but was still a good night.

Energy is a great environment, but ever since they re opened the same music has been played every time I went. Wish they had more music you can get down to. New music in general. Not music that has me jumping and fist pumping or came out a decade ago. I would definitely start going way more often. Went back and DJ Steve was great, his music was so much better. Went again after and was super disappointed when it was Fusemania.

I have been twice to energy and it’s definitely a vibe like it’s so fun the people the crowd is mix but it’s the best every is full , like it’s so natural it bring the you outta you and I mean the best of you , the only said part is they don’t open early and it’s only on weekends and they close early like once you there you don’t wanna to end so it’s like it’s not enough time to party more but I love it one of the best nightclub in the city!! Ive been going to this club since I was 18. My first time I was turned away at the door when I was following the dress code bc the tank top I borrowed from a friend wasnt appropriate it was a maroon tank top with a metallic owl on it. Mind you Ive sent this exact same bouncer let dudes in with worse clothes than me and women in running shoes, camo leggings and sports bras. Ive seen this club improve with the dress code restrictions in making them actually fair. The bouncers that the care of the club are very polite and handle altercations with amazing speed. And this sentence is from a personal experience bc I almost got into a fist fight with one person when he tried to grab my previously still healing tattoo. They kept him away from me and my best friend the rest if the night. I wish I got their names so I could give them credit in this review. But all in all its a great starter club for people wanting to dip their toes in the water.

My best friend and I attend energy every weekend like its church. Its by far my favorite club to goto and Ive gone to plenty around the country. The vibes are always good, music is always great, the events like foam & paint parties are awesome, the security guards arent douche bags. We always bring a few friends with us when we dont come just us 2, and they have a great time and end up coming back with their buddies. Ive never had anything but a blast. Definitely recommend going!

I remember when this club was called Motion Nitelife back in the day and went from a hood club, country and rock club, and then to what it is now. If your lucky you might hear 5 seconds of a good song until the DJ mixes into songs I heard in high school back in 2006 if hes even on stage. I worked in one of the businesses at Longworths hall so it was convenient to stop in and get a drink after work but for what you get the price is pretty much average for downtown but you better be tipping or the bartender might get amnesia and forget you exist. You basically get what you pay for but you are downtown instead of a hole in the wall bar so its expected. The overall appearance of the club is nice but the dance floor does get extremely sticky because of kids spilling drinks and etc. The bathrooms are disgusting but there is no way to clear everybody off the dance floor in the middle of the night to clean. Nobody treats public bathrooms like theyre own so no matter where you go the bathrooms are not going to be immaculate unless you have a attendant posted in the restroom that loves their job to go above and beyond. No offense and not trying to call anybody racist but you already know that if your skin is darker than everyone else be prepared to bring at least 3 outfits with you or you will not get in and bring a belt. Black clubs dont last in the city or nearly anywhere else and Im sure the owner is trying to keep a certain clientele so be aware. There is more I can comment on but overall its not the best nor the worst and if your under 21 and a male its pretty much all you got around as far as I can think of. My only advice is to please update the music for your own benefit and light a fire under your DJ to do better.

Its dirty. Sticky floors, not enough ventilation, 90% of lounge furniture is trashed. Its really past its prime.

I was almost human trafficked and the only person that helped me is Sean the bartender. I was terrified and he asked me if I wanted to go to Waffle House after. I told the police and they didn’t care. I was so terrified and they told me to shut up. I would not go here if you are a single woman. Please help me kill this place. I was so scared. The security and police did not care at all even though I gave a description. I kept telling them to ask Sean what happened and they refused. I was so terrified. I was crying and trying to help others but they literally didn’t care that all. I really wish they would have taken me seriously. I will never be returning. Ladies be on the look out and be vigilant.

Had a very bad experience here with my friends, the bouncers are incredibly rude and do not care for the safety of their clients. 0/10 going to actively tell all my friends to avoid for their own personal safetyedit for requested clarification: During the night of the ugly sweater party ended up meeting a woman who my friends assumed had been drugged. When we tried to get help from the staff because this woman was very clearly distressed the bouncers were less than helpful and acted as if this womans health and safety were an inconvenience. they allowed the man we believed drugged her to leave without obtaining a copy of his ID. the way the bouncers behaved made us feel unsafe and makes us wonder whether or not the management cares about the well being of their clientele.

I was in town for just a few days with friends and I’m glad I made a stop here. The people were very friendly. I didn’t have too much contact with Security however one of them did refer us to a popular restaurant in the city which we went to the next day and was awesome. The place was clean while we were there I’m not sure why people are giving so many negative reviews Because we had a great time the crowd was friendly the staff was friendly. I definitely recommend this place

My favorite club Ive been to! If you need somewhere to have fun and get away this is the place! DJ Sab is the best and provides a safe and eventful night! And all the bouncers look out for everyone! My favorite night getaway! :)

What night club doesn’t offer water to it’s paying guests? The music is the same every week, boring, and with no variety. I only tried it twice though so maybe you will have a different experience. They try to make it “posh and trendy” but it ends up being trashy. Better luck going to OTR, downtown, or the banks if visiting Cincinnati!

A mix of people which I like. I feel safe. The bartenders are really good and energetic. Sometimes the music is mediocre, they cut off good dance songs too quick, and sometimes it is an exact repeat of previous times I was there

Very mediocre place to say the least. The club smelled moist, humid and sweaty, and was empty on a late Friday night. Not to mention they let 18 year olds in! Lol, Cincy needs a better variety of clubs. The bars are better than this club

Tried to get into the nightclub I was wearing slides and tripped on the curb and the bouncer told me I was too drunk to get in. I had no alcohol but he still wouldnt let me in just becuase I tripped in my slides.Other than that one experience with one of the bouncers, the staff are amazing and I love coming here every weekend

Very unprofessional on their Instagram page. Nothing but rude comments when THEY asked publicly for a song request. I got told “entitled mindset,” “don’t know how the internet works.” That’s no way any business should talk to their customers. They then continued to comment and say negative things and then turned off the comments and blocked me.

Their security literally allows women to be harassed & then when a customer did something about it they ban them, and when other people speak up about their experiences they act like they’re not doing anything wrong but they’re allowing predators in the door and allowing them to harass women, i severely URGE ANYONE to NOT come here unless you want to be harassed by predators.

This place is extremely rude and aggressive to LGBT and POC patrons. They use offensive language and offer no explanation when choosing who they allow in the bar. This place is only good at piling in a bunch of 18 to 20 year olds for their cover dollars. Would not recommend. Music is also a bust, unless your idea of club music is early 2000s prom music. Guarentee to hear Ushers Yeah at least 4 times a night.

My friends & I came here many weekends, spend a lot of money & referred many others to come here. Unfortunately due to the disrespectful bouncers & unnecessary treatment we will not be returning. This place would be so much better if the owner actually cared about who he hires. I’ll be paitietly waiting for his response on this post to tell how his club is so amazing and the hundreds of bad reviews on here have nothing to do with the horrible service & trash quality.

Im not sure where to start. From my own personal experiences or my friends.To start from having to pay for parking and an entrance fee totalling at least $10 before getting in.Overpriced drinks and unoriginal cocktails.Im not even going to discuss the unoriginal events of red yellow green nights every week which has a bunch of late 20 year old dudes hitting on teenage girls.I will however mention how the DJ is playing Fergalicious to an audience thats too young to even know that song. Or How the DJ just presses play and walks away and then trash talks other DJs in Cincinnati.Ive had friends get kicked out by the bouncers who use homophobic slurs while doing it.The arrogance of the owners and horrible management of everything make thisclub the laughing stock of Cincinnati.Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Energy, theres a reason why its underneath a bridge in the slums.Dont let the one sentence 5 star reviews they pay for mislead you.Dont give them your money until the entire staff is replaced.

This was my first nightclub experience and had a blast. The vibes were good and the drinks did their thing!

Have yet to go here yet. Im somewhat hesitant to when it used to be called Pulse and I got thrown out the first time I went back during the Pulse times. I may eventually check it out. One thing I will say thats a big thumbs up to the new place is having a dress code listed on their website.Pulse never did that. They just picked select folks to kick out it seems. Making matters even more aggravating is the local law enforcement getting all damn itchy to ticket/arrest someone if theyre stuck no ride home or anything. Hopefully thats all been swept clean and improved with the new name and renovation.

Left my debit car there Saturday night as I had a tab open and the staff pushed and hurried us out of the doors at close, no way to get in touch with anyone working there, wont answer emails and wont answer the phone number given. I received a charge on my card the following morning which was expected but now there is another charge that just came up as pending on Tuesday... this clubs staff is a joke, bartenders were ok but the security are thugs and management seems to be very dishonest, Ill be disputing the charges with my bank I guess and ordering another card. Edit: owner has been in contact with me and resolved the issue, I would go back again.

My 20yr old daughter and her friends went there to celebrate one their birthday. It was literally like the 3rd time they had ever been to a club. She said they were just standing behind a bunch of people waiting to get in when a bouncer came up to her and said what F are you doing who the F do you think you are? My daughter said who are you talking to? The bouncer- Im talking to you Fing B. So you thought you could get in without showing ID or paying? My daughter replied I have no idea what youre talking about. Theres 2 lines? Im in the wrong line? And he just kept calling her names even though she told him she did not know she was in the wrong line and not to talk to her like that.Do not go here unless you want to be verbally abused by roid rage bouncers. I hope it made you feel powerful verbally abusing my daughter. The cops apologized but nobody from Energy.

This club was one of the worst I have been to. The music was atrocious, hardly anybody was there, there were no signs or anything telling where the club was even at, our uber driver had trouble even finding it. The rudeness of the bar tender was horrendous. Even when we tried to request any song besides justin Bieber or Ariana grande they never played it and were honestly just rude about us even requesting a song. Extremely disappointing.

Went out for my 20th birthday with three of my girls and we had a blast!!! Everyone was up dancing and staff was friendly. Have to visit if you’re in town and looking for a good time! 18+ club

Let me just start by saying this place is not great the lights are flashing so fast it gave me the spins and I threw chunks all over the floor. There’s a little small Irish man (security) that sells potatoes out the bathroom and when I asked what he was doing he proceeded to run out the back door. Later that night cincy police arrested the little jackal and took him to the clink.

I have been coming to what was known as Pulse Nightclub for years and have grown a friendship with the staff there. With that, heres my review of what is now Energy Nightclub.Coming into the new doors of Energy, you are greeted by security to make sure that youre wearing the right type of clothing. Sorry, this is not your Slob of a mess look nightclub, as Energy Nightclub is one of the largest nightclubs in Cincinnati. After youre checked and cleared, you begin to enter what is Energy nightclub, making it a non-confusing way to enter the club, youre then greeted by two more employees who check your IDs and ether give you a wristband (21+) or let you through to pay (18-20). After youre done checking in and paying youll make your way into the Lounge-feel bar area, where you can get multiple kinds of Craft beer and other drinking amenities. Making your way through that, youll enter into the Main club area. With that be it, lets talk about the changes. Youll notice right away, that this space is huge! Brand new staging, lighting, and sound equipment from the top brands of Pro Audio, brand new styles of seating arrangements and no more vacant balcony VIP area. All of the VIP areas are now on the main floor and it brings a better feel in the mix. To the left of entering the nightclub, youll see the main bar, that features a red glow from the bottom up and a brand new bar top to go with it, also featuring lit-up bottles behind the bar, to endure that they have the most premium booze in the building.The dance floor is still the same, with a few exceptions. Theyve removed the cluttered dance risers and made the floor all one level. The DJ booth is now a DJ booth, where DJ Sab and others can host some of the biggest events in the city, all with comfort ability. Youve also have to take in the area around the dance floor. Removing the clutter that was the old couches, makes that area bigger. Replacing the old couches with newly lounge area seating makes you feel that youre still apart of the club and not slouching at your house. To the right of the entrance to the main club area, youll see a round, island style table for you to associate with the crowd around you.All in all, this club will blow your socks off and it has improved immensely, I hope that DJ Sab is going to have a ton of fun with the new style of club. You definitely get the Vegas style atmosphere, with the Cincinnati twist. Energy Nightclub should be your nightclub.

I went to Energy Nightclub Saturday 4/14/18, I am a 29 year old multi-racial female from cincinnati and I loved the whole Energy experience staff were very prompt and polite My 18 year old sister and my best friend and fiance all had a great time.. Music was mixed really well loved whoever was dj that night. Bartender Lady made my drinks really well and they were affordable and 💪 so worth it. Best place Ive been clubing in Cincinnati to me.

It says online that it’s a 18 and under club but I went im 17 about to be 18 in less then 2 weeks and they would not let me in because I’m not 18 but I’ve seen 16 year olds with no fake IDs go in there almost every weekend. They pick and choose a day where 14-16 year olds go in but won’t let a almost 18 year old go in it’s unbelievable

Been kicked out twice. The first time prom was next door we left prom to go to energy an got kicked for being to loud how in a club are you to loud. Last year i went with a big group of friends. First issue i had on heels an slipped on pee an throw up in the bathroom i had to go to my car to change shoes second this guy in front of us dancing tried to start mash pit an started swinging wildly a fight broke out we got pulled in trying to stop what was going on an got kicked out then...dj sab himself said we started it im just avoiding the place at this point maybe 6 more years ill go back smh

They are really cheap on alcohol. Their drinks are bad, I spent over $30 on drinks and still couldnt get drunk. This fine If you wanna go to that club, but make sure you drink from somewhere else before you walk in there....

Energy night club is trash… kicked me out for smoking weed outside which is cool where I’m from and instantly put it out. Nerds! Bouncers were unreasonably mean. DONT COME HERE

Security guards are creeps, unprofessional, up to no good. One guard approached me and asked me to walk with him out the doors because he needed to “speak” with me and none of my friends were allowed to come. He had no reason to be taking me outside. Luckily my friend got in his face and his excuse was “i didn’t think she had on a wristband” even though i showed it to him when he approached me.

If you looking for a party atmosphere then this is it there is glow in the dark kinda vibe plus the DJs are amazing and the place is very spacious its $5 for 21 and over to enter

Rude staff and security harrased one of my guy friends for his beanie and yet had other people wearing it and apparently it was their religion please tell us what religion wears a white fish net beanie.Oh so now that you googled your answer since your staff couldnt answer that when we were there and you personally didnt show up when we asked for you other than when you get on here and try to make it seem like every one else is wrong, how about doing your job in person and actually fixing the problem right there and then.

If your black dont waste your time your not getting in unless your a local athlete me and some college friends from cincinnati who all went to clark tried to get in twice with no luck the bouncer told my friend his pants where to baggy he had on super skinny dress pants!!! I went one week later with my cousin adam who plays for the bengals and got treated like a king i wonder why.

Good night club if you wanna get screwed over and lied about my husband and I was there couple weeks ago and he accidentally Smoked his vape inside we WAS NOT drunk like owner trys to say we had to drive 2 hrs back home and was only there to dance but we got asked to leave and we left willingly asked him if we was banned they said no just go home for the night well last night we go and drive two hours to get there only to be told that he got put on the block list after they told him he would not be due to accident vaping inside the building not thinking because where we live we can use Vape in the bars we was not rude and did not fight them we walked out and left so Im pissed and will be going to my family member who is an, attorney and will be putting charges because it does not have anything posted saying no smoking or Vape witch means they legally cant say or do anything if its not.
