Were frequent flyers here. Always great live music. The food is pretty good. Matt, the owner, is usually on-site. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They have plenty of seating and parking, but for some bands it will be packed. Theyre closed on Mondays, FYI.

This place is NON STOP entertainment. Great bands almost every night. Check out their Facebook page for band schedule and hours band is on. Good bar food. Cheap drinks. Great atmosphere!!! They do have 2 pool tables.

Just came in randomly because we love the new ownership and business model and they started music trivia on Sat. nights at 5 to 7 before the Sat. night band. It was really fun and we won 3rd place. Also added a fantastic large charcuterie board to the menu it was great as well. This is a great place to come with awesome staff. The new owners go all out to make sure you have a good experience! Definitely stop by!!!

Wasnt a very friendly crowd, but the beers on tap were slightly expensive than the typical bar in the area. Live music was great fun, but the lack of dancing or space to express oneself to the artists on stage left me wanting. I left before 1 a.m.

Love the bands, too many people there to enjoy them! Then the service is slow because so many people. Last time we went no bouncers which didnt seem safe with all the people. Have a limit to your venues! Not my favorite place to go, but bands are awesome! Glad they finally painted the Buddha back to the original color gold! Liked it better when you could smoke in there! Just my opinions and mine only!

Didn’t have the food we ordered and had to order something else. This was in the early evening. Once we got the food it was fine. Prices were reasonable and a band was playing that night so we enjoyed them.

We popped in here for a drink around 9pm on a Friday night and had a good experience! The band playing was AWESOME and played a lot of AC/DC and rock. Drinks were really good!

Its not hard to give this place one star. Music is great but this place has never had enough staff for the amount of customers. I know its under new ownership so we figured we would check it out. It was super warm and horrible service! We sat at the bar right behind the cash register for at least 10 minutes. Bartender came to the register multiple times with no acknowledgement. I know theyre busy and I can be patient but when you look directly at us and it is obvious that we do not have drinks but you just walk away is just ridiculous. Do better, maybe get some new staff, better staff, or more staff. Good luck!

First time going here.. The fries were good and so were the cheese curds.. The drinks were made well. I felt like a mixed drink was expensive.. The pizza was a pepperoni pizza but the sauce was bland the cheese was bland and it just had no flavor to it.The staff was very friendly I felt safe leaving and coming and well being there.. I recommend bringing a couple friends here just because it can get a little boring when the bands not playing .. Ill definitely go again..

A real gem for the local music scene. Ozzy the owner is an amazing person too to bottom! Great Soundsystem, stage and friendly staff. We had a blast performing here. Not a far walk to a neighborhood Walmart, post office, dollar store, harbor freight or anything else you may need. We cant wait to be back. MESSER APPROVED!

Great music venue, good drinks and prices but it gets too loud to really appreciate it. Whyyyy make it so loud that it isn’t music anymore and your ears are hurting? If you love your ears use ear plugs.

Never pay in advanceI paid for sexy ladys seat group one your used to promote. Dont get a dance. Save your money wait till your at the show for a lap dance. You get more out of it. The photo with hunks is not a good photo very dissatisfied.If your in your 20s they dont want to dance with you only older ladys.First experience and will be my last

Cool place to go for drinks and listen to Live Music. My Only complaint was its kinda small and parking is limited. Get there early for a show. But I will definitely go back again. We had a Great time overall. 😎🤘🏼

Enjoy all kinds of crazy wild acts!!! They have Sunday Funday there that you can’t miss!! Electric Sideshow Bob is amazing as well as a lot of other bands that get to play there, like COBRESS! You get the Kimberly’s and Model Citizen and a lot of other great bands and inexpensive drinks to keep you going all night.

New owner is amazing, super kind and selfless, our bike died one day and be walked across the street to their shop to help us during an event! Great service, staff and they hold a lot of fun events!

Buddha LIVE is a fun place to visit. Great live music, with seating that lets you see the band, with room for a small dance area.

A great band played. Much more relaxed atmosphere than it used to be. No smoking inside, but you can go out back and smoke! I thought my drink was a little bit pricey, but the bartender made it decently strong. Will be back.

The old Buddha is DEAD. Thankfully, its been reincarnated into a much improved venue — Buddha LIVE. I stopped in last night after hearing that the bar was under new management and it is obvious that the new owner(s) have been hard at work cleaning the place up. The old ever-present smell of stale beer and cigarette smoke is almost completely gone, the stage has gotten a facelift, new games have been added to the back rooms, fresh faces are serving up drinks behind the bar, and the whole building is the cleanest Ive ever seen it. So far the place appears to be maintaining its dark and divey rocker vibe, but without the literal grunge. Buddha has come a long way from the last time I was here, and from what I heard last night theyre just getting started with what they have planned. Very excited to see this venue evolve into something bigger & better.

The bands are always awesome! If you love live music cover bands, you will love it here!Its busy so it can take a while to get service but the staff is friendly and they work their butts off. Order your draft beer from the main bar and not the one by the stage to save everybody time.The bathroom is small but it never seems to have a line. It does run out of to and paper towels near the end of the night so prepare to drip dry.The parking lot can get dark later at night. I never leave alone but if you do, I would suggest asking one of the security guys to walk you to your car. Ive never felt unsafe here but thats no reason to act recklessly.My friends and I always have a great time here.

During the day time, the Buddah is a cool dark place to have a drink with a bunch of old white men. At night, it becomes a liquor and cocaine fueled rock club. A Fort Myers staple representing what it means to be an independent hard party spot in an era of Justin Biebers.

Great place to watch local musicians and get a taste of S.W. FL local talent. Pretty good size place with plenty of room to dance too.

This by far my favorite live music venue in SW Florida i always have an awesome time the music is great,the staff is great,the food is good but more items should be added.They have security so thats a bonus that you dont have to deal with drunks or rude people because security will get them out in a hurry.Overall i give this place 5 star because of how awesome the music and management is keep up the fantastic work Buddha Live 🎶 🕺 💃

We have driven by a few times and wanted to check the place out. There is a flashing Buddha outside- whats not to love! We went Wednesday night which is karaoke night. Everyone really hit the high notes. The DJ girl hosting had great stage presence and made us feel welcomed. My bar stool step was sticky, but that was expected. Other than that, we would love to come back here.

Good place for live music. Dance area is small. Hard to get drinks and when you do they dont taste good. Stick with beer and plan to be hot. Enjoy the vibe though.

Nice little bar, more of a biker or rocker place. Awesome outdoor patio seating area all fenced in. Has a couple pool tables and dart boards. Always has local and national cover bands as well as entertainment nearly every night!

Small menu. But was good choices.Wish it said it was cheesecake as I got a piece of chocolate cake thinking it was regular cake. Not a fan of cheesecake.

First time here, first time seeing Dead Set Florida... LOVED BOTH! Beer was a bit on the high side though thats to be expected when seeing good music at a small venue.. that said we liked the venue and the pizza place next door was a godsend... We ordered our pizza, went back to the show til it was ready, then picked up our pizza and ate it while watching the show... Hopefully DSFL comes back to Fort Myers soon!

The venue could use a ventilation system for the kitchen. If they have an exhaust system, it needs to be cleaned or repaired. It was very greasy smelling.I used the ladies restroom and the only stall available did not have a toilet seat. As someone who has had 3 knee surgeries, it can be difficult to squat. I managed, but really, buy a freaking seat!Out of 5 bartenders, only one was friendly.Beer selection is eh. I asked for a glass for my can beer, but after seeing how dirty it was, opted to keep the can.Dive bar status has been earned. 😆Went for the music, but will likely try to see bands at another venue.On a positive note, the patrons were friendly and polite. Door staff were friendly.

Great dive bar venue! Good service, nice tap and IPA selections, amazing tacos!!! Clean but worn just as a good dive bar should be. Lots to enjoy and live entertainment for all. A must go place! Owner Ozzie really goes the extra mile to make this a fun place! Thanks for the experience!!

Great music, bartenders and atmosphere

Love the spacious bar .. small to.mid size stage.. with great live band music.. mostly on the ROCK side. Nice Employees.. great and fast service... reasonable prices...Good parking , and nice security personnel.I would recommend this place to anyone who loves good live rock music...They also have lots of Dart boards on the walls..and a Pool table... off to the right , when you come in.

2nd time going, love the vibe of this bar. The band Red Hanna was great. Loved their version of cover songs. Bartenders were so friendly, fast and efficient. Loved the free pool tables.

This place used to be a fun venue for live rock. New owners came in and fired everyone after they helped renovate the place. Then the owners banned me from their social media pages for requesting that they keep live rock shows coming. Theyre out of towners that have no pulse on the community and will be wondering where everyone went after Easter. Ill be spending my money at The Ranch from now on. Sad times.

A clean, comfortable non smoking club with an awesome stage and light show. fun place to hang out and party. They always have the top notch live bands in the area, and the best bar food Im town. Everything about this place screams fun: and quality! This place has made a complete U turn sincenthey new ownership came in, and I am very glad to see this happen! Give it a try and you wont be disappointed!

Good place, conveniently located to listen to great local and out of town rock bands. Prices for drinks are reasonable. Good ambience overall. My only complaint will be they allow smoking inside, just way too much smoke everywhere.

The love this place has for our community and everyone in it is astonishing. They are the real deal all the way around top notch staple in our community.They dont just stop at slanging cold drinks and bar food. They have live entertainment and love hosting charity events for many occasions.

Had a great time tonight seeing the Brown Eyed Women Band. Good vibe, good sound, good service, good food...up until I paid my tab. Tipped appropriately, and ordered a final cocktail. A vodka/soda which was all soda. An abysmal end to an otherwise delightful evening.

Great place for live local Rock n Roll bands. Drinks are reasonable. Not to loud. Clean sound system. Open pretty late for Ft.Myers 2 or 3 a.m. depending on businness. Has a happy hour. I have always had a nice time there when on vacation.

One of my favorite bars in the area. Bit of a care free layer back place with amazing music and food. The outside venue in the back is awesome as well. Great place to have some drinks, shoot some pool, and jam to some tunes and meet awesome people along the way! 💯

Good place to go watch a concert or live music event, but its about as loud in there as the flight deck of an aircraft carrier, so if you dont have foam ear plugs or ear muffs with you like the kind they wear on the flight decks of aircraft carriers or like you might see being worn by airport employees on the tarmac, it can be an ear-hurting experience.The new owners were wise to get rid of Calcast, Mad Rhythm, and Iridesc3nt. That clique has become nothing but bomb and terrorism scares, multiple participants of that United We Mix event accusing all single guys of bomb and terrorist attacks, including many instances where single guys were accused of being behind the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing and the 9/11 attacks in New York and Washington. Many incidents have occured in that Calcast clique where guys that were by themselves were accused by female participants, especially by that Darby and Suzy, of having bombs and explosive devices in their vehicles and coolers, the same whom refuse to leave people alone that dont want anything to do with those particular individuals. And that one guy Eloy has been complimenting their bomb scares and appears to have been participating in the bomb scares and similar behaviors. That entire clique belongs in Toronto, Ontario, where its actually illegal under Toronto city law for guys to be out in public alone for any reason whatsoever, for guys, going out alone in public in Toronto is considered felony disorderly conduct which carries automatic jail.

Sunday fun day is the best day to head here. No cover 21+. A200 is an awesome cover band for the early 2000s alternative music. Drink prices are pretty reasonable, get there around 10 if you can it gets packed quick

I have not been back to Buddha since I was 21, 11 years ago until last night, and to say I was impressed by the vibe and music compared to then is an understatement! The new owner must know what he is doing because the band was awesome and was jamming while improvising just like the dead or any awesome jam band. The keyboardist was improvising And so talented like he was Beethoven’s son! Awesome place now and hope to see it prosper with good bands and their great staff in the future!

We’ve been to the old Buddha and the new Buddha. It’s great to see new management keeping what was so attractive about the old Buddha and making it even better and bringing it to it the present as a heavy hitter in the local music scene and a great place to toss a few back. Great live music. The right staff you want for a bar like this and the drinks to match. Great bar food too.It’s open. It’s got personality. Go have a good time 🤘

The live music was great . The drinks were made perfect and the fact that their was no smoking in the building made it very pleasant.the only complaint I have is that if your advertisement states a certain band will be playing from 8-11 please dont make us wait till midnight to here that band .

This was our first time. Came up from Naples for a birthday get together and had a great time! The bar staff were excellent and the band was awesome! Worth driving up and will be back!

DISGUSTING place! I ordered a Jim Beam and coke. 7.50. Didnt bother bringing my change back. Assumed i guess, no change. Drank my drink, watching the band. I went to leave after the weak drink they gave me and i simply told the bartender that with this price i will never be back! Quickly as I told her nicely , as i knew it wasnt her fault, two men jumped me and threw me out the door. No discussion, nothing! No questions asked. Pathetic! Dont go there! Ever!!! Not safe! Not safe!

The band was entertaining- Very loud live rock music. Wish there was better ventilation though, for it was very smokey, and the bartender was a little rude to a tourist we invited. Dont recommend unless youre a smoker who likes loud, live rock music.

I ordered bang bang shrimp, Cuban sandwich, and churros. I haven’t eaten all day and wanted something new. Tell me how do you mix up my order and give me something else? I didn’t want tacos!!!! If I wanted tacos I would’ve went to the taco truck off of Pine Island to get authentic tacos.And who puts buffalo sauce on tacos, you’ve gotta be delusional!! Don’t get me started on the driest grilled cheese known to man was sent to me, the one i didn’t order. It tasted musty and I’m surprised this place is still open but then again they do cater to the drunk. I feel sick to my stomach because they don’t deserve to be opened and when I called they ignored and their mailbox was full. What kind of business doesn’t answer the phone. DO NOT GO THERE, TRASH FOOD🤢🤮

Great place to drink, great place to play! Had a blast at the Budda, hope to be back in the near future. Between the Covid issues, and others, “80 Caliber’s” band members have all gone different directions, but will be back as patrons, and I’m sure to entertain! Greg has a completely different line up for “80 Caliber/Dirty White Boys”, Tony (guitarist) is currently taking a break, Alan is in the Smoking Ace project (a duo, trio and sometimes 4 piece band), and Tony (vocals) is currently working with “SECTION 8” We all enjoy the Budda, as it is a staple in the Rock n Roll community in Lee County! I was there prior to the closing for remodeling. It really needs a coat of paint and sprucing up. Hope the new owners do that!

Top notch venue that brings in top notch national talent. People need to take notice and support the ones that give you these offerings. If not it will only be a matter of time before you will have to go to Tampa, Miami or Orlando to see any kind of rock show

My girlfriend and I were just visiting the area and wanted to see some of the local evening bars. I wish they would provide a list of the dress code online or somewhere obvious for tourists because we were not allowed entry due to wearing a tank top. In addition, upon opening the door the smoke was heavy and music was extremely loud. Although I still have not heard anything negative about the staff and management, so Im sure they do well.

I was here on Halloween night and it was FABULOUS! No, there was no costume contest. No there was no live music that night. Why so fabulous? The Bartender! She is an absolute doll and made the lack of festivities into a bonus night for everyone. I havent had this good of a time, with so little going on, in a very long time. Thanks doll! xoxo

This place is too cool, they try to play different themed music to accommodate different people on different days , we were just visiting town , on Friday night they had a 6:00 band that brang in a older dancing crowd..Then @ 9 they changed it up and a younger crowd came in.We went back the next night, and they had a rock band and a completely different crowd again.. too much fun!! Thanks ozzie. AndThanks to ozzies invitation to celebrate my birthday there, give me a free $20 bar tab for my birthday!! Ozzie youre awesome!

This place was one of the coolest karaoke places Ive been to your actually on stage lights action ready to go the DJs cool as hell to does a fantastic Black Sabbath a lot of good singers there too foods good prices are good definitely a good place to go and partay.

The Band we saw the other night was awesome and I loved the fact that they still have pool tables. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Awesome club. Loved the environment and the layout. I went on Sunday band was good until all they played was teenagers songs a very commercial. Other than that loved the place.

Going on Sundays. Good music and decent dance floor and diverse crowd. The worst thing is the air is saturated with cigarettes. The smoking is horrible and you will leave smelling like cigarettes and your lungs might feel like you are a smoker. if u smoke,then its awesome!!

Have only gone on Sunday nights, and man does it get packed!! The band that plays there is called A200, and its like being at a concert with them. Get two drinks at a time though cause its hard to get a bartenders attention after 11pm cause its packed.

A great place to do some drinking and dancing. Been going on Sundays to see A200 for years. Unfortunately, a lot of scumbags starting to come. Women, expect to be groped while dancing and harassed, especially when leaving. A woman got Roofied there and almost died. The security guards are great, but they cant see everything. If you are having a problem, please do us all a favor and let one of them know. The offending party will be promptly, and rather painfully ejected. Would very much like to see the place cleaned up, because it is such a great place to see a band.

Live music with good friends and no mask Nazis

I have lived in this area for more than 15 years and it was not untill recently did I live within casual reach of this GREAT club. NoW I CANT QUIT GOING EVERY WEEKEND. The bands that play here especially the local talent are THE BESTof the BEST and I cannot say enough about the light and SOUND systems. With its large elevated stage and 100 plus feet of seated bar space and table service this club is easily one of the VERY BEST I have ever been to. And my experiences have been in Manhattan and Boston and even other regions of South Florida such as Miami and Key West, homes to great entertainment..(so I know my business).

As always, drinks and atmosphere were awesome and the band was outstanding!

Their revamp has entirely changed the atmosphere of this place. What used to be a dive bar is now an upscale establishment that has on premise food and a wide range of bottles, drafts, and liquors.

Music is Great. They really improved the inside. Check um out.

Good music but if you do not smoke cigarettes, its not the place for you. If you enjoy second hand smoke by all means, its a must, youll just pay with cancer if you get older! Cool place otherwise!

Hairdaze was the live band. Parking is less than desired now. The tables were pushed up into the dance floor. Tried to cash out at the top bar and couldnt. One of the bartenders came back to the lower bar so I went down to cash out. She proceeded to ignore me like she did earlier in the night and walked away from the bar to wipe a table people were still sitting at. I tapped her on the shoulder and asked if I could cash out. She ignored me for a moment and then stated she was wiping a table and I was being rude. She went back to the bar and took my card and told me again how I was rude to her. She told and showed the other bartender what I did and handed off my card to him. Being an ignored customer is being rude. Just because I am not a regular anymore doesnt mean I am not a paying customer. I was not rude, impatient maybe.

The Buddha Lounge, as it used to be called or Buddha Live is my favorite place to attend on a night out. They have great bands that play here, generally A200 and Soapy Tuna. However, they absolutely have really good guest bands that come. They have 2 pool tables and a few dart boards and a couple of random games for something to do when youre not checking out the amazingly cute girls that come there to cut loose. The Buddha has recently cut out smoking inside the building BUT they have provided a patio area outside at which you can take your drink and possibly even make some new friends as it is usually full of interesting and somewhat intoxicated people. Overall, the Buddha is the best of the dive bars all rolled into one! Thanks for being yourself, BUDDHA!!

The most amazing nightclub! Fantastic music, fantastic bartender. The place rocks. If you cant have fun here, you dont know how to get down.

A definite favorite for sure. Great bands, great staff and perfect dance floor. Been going for years and plan to go for many many more. Best place for live bands!!

Great place to see great bands. The only draw back is that the place has a terrible ventilation system and the smoke is bad! Love to hang out and could get many more friends to go if the smoke wasnt so bad.

Old place, same musician every day who sings the same songs, love the dart board, they have jenga if you ask for it, you can smoke inside, they decent deals on pitchers, but mainly an old biker bar. Bartenders work hard though.

Excellent bartenders, great drink specials, and a nice clean atmosphere. Most bars in Ft Myers close around 10 or 11 PM. This is one of the few that is open until 2 am.

Great vibes and good times here. The set up for live bands is great and theres plenty of room for moving around in a crowd.

I enjoyed myself here. I am not a fan of all the smoking though but it is what it is and it doesnt make me like the place any less. My drinks were strong which was nice lol.

I was only there for a few hours, late, on a Sunday night but the band was really great and it wasnt crowded. Good prices on drinks and darts were fun.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe! Jason Bhimji was very accommodating as it was my first time there, bringing friends over to check out the place in a couple weeks! Keep killing it guys!

Cant smoke inside...wheres the food just a taco? and 5$ to get in definitely the new owners need to figure some things out only reason I went in was to see a friend but was not worth the 5$ cover and I understand companys are in a hardship but so are partons

Its changed from what everyone knew it to be which is the golden Buddha and now they painted it red. Still cant miss it. Still great live bands. Came out today for a fund raiser and tacos.

Went and saw a tribute band the other day, pretty cool venue. Very interesting crowd as well as a really cool bar

We have been to the Buddha for many years following Model Citisin, however tonight we were not impressed The first pitcher we were served was definitely not what we ordered, but we didnt want to complain so we drank it. The other pitchers were what we ordered, although they were warm., with no frosted glasses offered. Also,hubby said there were no toweps available in mens bathriom.We did notice difference in the ventilation of the bar, which is plus. Justkeepworki f on the little things!which is a plus. Jusr keep fixing the which is appreciate . Just hope this

They allow SMOKING and violate peoples right to clean air. The proprietor can put an end to this any time. I will never subject myself to a toxic building of puffing addicts. The majority of the country has banned this disgusting and deadly behavior but this foolery is an artifact of Dixie....

I love this place!!! The bartenders, especially Chelsea and Casey are the best❤️️. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the Soundsystem is wonderful. Check it out!

The band that was playing the night (Friday)I was there that night wasnt to good. The drummer played over the rest of the group, the one guitar player was out of sink and the lead singer (Male) was shouting into the mike. Not good.

Had a blast the comedy show is great food was good and then the band that played after definitely took me back to my childhood

What a fun and great venue, smoke free, under new management, a variety of different and fun events...definitely a must go spot!

Very Fun place with Live Music from Tuesday through Sunday. Always has pretty good local bands as well as well as tribute bands. Sometimes they have National Bands as well.

Food was very good, music as s great, drinks were very good. Even though the place was packed the service was fast.

Great bar. Smoking is allowed and they even have a small selection of overpriced cigarettes. But the bar is great with live music and the drinks are good. Staff is always friendly.

You know how in guitar hero youre climbing up in venues? The Buddah is that one big club where you know youre moving up, and the next move up is a theater of some kind. Good layout, good service, love coming here!

The live bands are great u can really feel it the only down fall is if ur NOT a smoker the cigarette smoke kills u n u smell like ine when u get out
