I am so freaking sad and mad. $160 just goes to waste.nails broke off the rhinestone popped right off. So please DONT go here, make them get new management. Oh and my pinkie finger has a long crack going one side to the other and very painful. I am not sure but my very 1st view was #1 had over 30,000 views, now that I called them out over on their service to the clients its now its moved so ppl cant see ot 1st what a coincidence. My sister and I appointment was a total $300 and something. Please dont go there.UPDATE 06/02/2024WILL NOT BE COMING BACK! Horrible service. I booked my appointment with a nail artist Hana. NEVER HAD HER, I was tossed around like a hacky sack SO WHAT WAS THE POINT OF SELECTING AN ARTIST TIST? Had one woman do my pedicure tossed over to this rude man( that never even light cured my left hand all he did was put my nails on and paint them white not even the white i asked for)and pure glitter acrylic then tossed over to another different woman to do the nail design that couldnt even match the rhinestones. I even brought my own nail stickers so the nail design would be easier(going to Paris for the 1st time ever so the design had the Eiffel Tower) what a joke that was NOT WORTH $160. Im now in Paris with a one nail already broken and horrific nail designs.The new management is absolute trash.DO NOT USE the chair massage! I felt like I fell down a flight of stairs for 2 days after. Still have pain to this day.NOW on to my sister, she went she got same as me. But she now has an ingrown toenail in her big toe that has pus.Absolutely love this place. Definitely will be a my new go to nail salon. Loved my pedicure, so relaxing and my feet look and feel amazing.I am so happy with my nails, they look so much better then what i had gotten done at another salon which is why i went to this wonderful little salon.Update: this is my go to nail salon. They are my favorite, this is coming from someone who loves getting her nails so Ive been to a few really high class salons and to the ones that are in your Walmart. I love the services, atmosphere is always relaxing, the nail techs are very polite and on top of their game.The 4th photo has mine AND my sisters that we had got done for a Disney trip

Had a great experience at Olympic Nail Spa. Sophia was amazing, sweet, and gave awesome foot massage. Shes the best!!! My sister and will both be back!!! Thank you❤️

My granddaughter and I went for pedicures, I asked for regular polish for her the owner insisted on gel polish which is more expensive, I said ok as long as it lasts. The lady ended up doing her toes in regular polish and her fingers on gel she did a great job and was very gentle, but when the owner came over and saw what she did she scolded her for not doing the gel and berated her in front of customers and staff! I was very happy with her job she did and didnt appreciate seeing that behavior. Im not sure I will return

First time in 10 years for me to treat myself!! Things have changed in the nail game!! They did an amazing job!!! Very friendly even with it being a busy day they were able to get everyone that walked in the door service!!! All I can say with the negative comments about the wait time, is that it takes time to get good service and if you want great service be prepared to wait. Although I walked in and within moments I was already seated to get the best pedi Ive had. Thank you all for the wonderful service I will certainly be back!!!

The lady cut me twice and almost ripped my entire nail off. Very bloody!! And then charged me full price. Very ridiculous! She also took 15 mins on my sister’s pedicure and made her bleed…

Services are extremely over priced. They advertise services online that they DO NOT offer in store. They made us wait 30 min past our appointment time. Charged me $70 for basic nails and charged another person $50 just to get fills. I will NOT be going here and I will also be telling people to avoid this nail salon

I don’t personally use but I take my daughter and occasionally her friends. It’s the best deal in town and they really do quality work and take their time. Fantastic and kind staff - great with young tweens/teens.

This is by far the best nail salon in gig harbor! the staff is super nice and they are really attentive to details. i brought my little cousin to get our nails done and we both ended up extremely happy with our nails :) definitely recommend! also remember to bring cash to tip your nail tech!!

Today I had a great experience getting acrylics with nail art! She did such a wonderful job and helped me narrow down my design choice and select summery colors. I always recommend Olympic Nails to my friends. Best in the area.

I have had a lot of mediocre salon experiences in Gig Harbor, but my last visit to Olympic Nail and Spa changed that! They really took their time and made sure my nails were meticulously done, and the deluxe pedicure I got may have been the best I’d ever had. Highly recommend giving them a try.

This is a great spot for a mani / pedi. They always seem to fit me in even on a weekend. The techs are competent, friendly, and detailed.

My experience here was lovely. The service was fast and friendly. Everything was super clean and had a really nice vibe. The nice woman doing my pedicure told me about gel for toes, which basically got rid of the drying time, so no awkward flip flop walk in the rain, and I could leave in my socks. I doubt Ill ever go back to traditional polish on my feet after that. 10/10 on everything.

Probably the worst manicure and pedicure I’ve ever had. They literally did not care about what they were doing. I went home and took it off and repainted my finger nails and fixed the bad file job.And my toes are okay but she didn’t even use the grater for the dead skin removal.

This is one of the best nail salons I’ve ever been to! It’s clean, classy decor, fair prices and excellent quality! I got A gel manicure by Amy and she did a fantastic job and was delightful to chat with! She made the experience so enjoyable. The woman who did my pedicure did a FANTASTIC job all around, but especially on the massage! She really took her time and it was so relaxing and thorough. I didnt Feel like they were rushing to get through clients at all. it truly felt like a luxury experience without the insane bill at the end. I drove 50 min to go to this salon and i def Will be coming back!!

Pretty good place, the recent remodel is nice. The options are a bit pricey, but maybe its the area. Foot massage could have been longer, but I always think that. Piggies came out looking fly and feeling purdy!

New owners so it is better and the gal I have do my feet is Awesome, Sophia and she takes good care of me.

I have been going to Hannah for nearly two years. She takes her time and has never disappointed! The business is under new management and I appreciate the color options and quality of paint and equipment. The salon is spacious and staff are courteous.

Everything about my first visit was amazing. Hannah worked on my dip removal + manicure, and she did an incredible job. She is affable and is one of the best nail technicians I have ever met. The prices for their services were also very competitive. I look forward to returning.

I have been going to Olympic for my nails for over a year. I was a little hesitant to go back after recent comments about ownership changes. But, I have been twice since the change and will say, they continue to give excellent service, to me it’s the best in Gig Harbor and my nails always look great. Highly recommend!

After the new owners took over I don’t plan on coming here. They messed up so many times that my toenail plate is bruised from all the drilling they did on me. Don’t recommend

AVOID, under new management and Unprofessional!!!!! This Salon has been under new management and since then, has gone down in service and professionalism. They used to have a functional online platform and call center for appointments and now say it no longer exists. After making an appointment a week in advance, I show up to be informed that they can’t confirm my appointment. They keep the appointment booker open to get people in, but cannot confirm it unless they call. Even worse they do not check the platform and cannot honor the timeline that was booked. They had no solution for me but “CALL NEXT TIME”. Rude and frustrating. Will not be back.

Always so impressed with this spot! Everytime. Quality, quality, everything, from the atmosphere and experience being there, to the longevity of a Mani/Pedi from here, made it over 6 weeks this time looking amazing! I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Great job. My favorite nail place. Had them done before knee surgery. I explained it would be a month before I could get in again. They did my fill and it lasted, still looking great 4 weeks later.

I just left the salon. My nails and pedicure were perfect, as usual. What happened is right in the middle of my appt, 3 men walked in and in the most unprofessional manner informed the owner, staff and full house of clients that the business belonged to the one party present. It was an obvious shock to the owner, staff and clients. The one claiming he is the true owner sat with a smug look on his face through it all. Ive been going here for over 2.5 years and Ive never seen this man. The whole thing was so disturbing. So I dont know the background in all this, but Im not going back if this new owner is there simply because of how horribly it was handled with absolutely no regard to the staff or clients there. It could have been handled through other means and channels.

I made an appointment for my sister and I to get mani-pedis. When we got there on time for our appointments they clearly didn’t have staff to handle our appointment. We were seated in the pedicure chairs and waited and waited and waited and waited. 30 minutes later they started my sister’s pedicure and then they started mine a whole hour after our appointment time.While we were there someone came in and asked if they had time. The scheduler asked if he could wait to which he replied “last time I waited it was an hour”. Clearly this business has a hard time understanding scheduling and time management.When I booked the appointment I told them my sister is disabled. If I knew they were over booked or running late, I would have gotten her something to eat.I tried to ask for the manager when I was paying but she had “just left”. We weren’t offered a discount for being an hour late. They just shrugged and said sorry without much care. I hate not leaving a tip for anyone, especially when they work with my sister since she is disabled but I felt so frustrated that I didn’t leave a tip.Then I hit rush hour traffic.Services were fine, just don’t trust their scheduling.

They do not honor appointments that are made, so you may as well just walk in. I have gone here at least a half dozen times for pedicures and each time they cannot accommodate me even though I have made an appointment online through their booking system, and have re-confirmed every appointment one day prior to service.I will never be going back because my last visit there went so horribly. They no longer use liners in their pedicure stations. This would be fine if they cleaned the stations in between use, which they did not in this case. After waiting more than 20 minutes past my appointment time, I was led to a filthy pedicure chair. Thinking they would clean it before starting the jets, I sat down. My mistake. They added the water to the pedicure bowl, and as they did I saw a layer of filth rise to the top. I refused to put my feet in. The sides of the tub were also filthy. It was when I saw the old nail clippings swirling around in the water that I decided to put my shoes on and leave.This is where it gets worse. As I put on my shoes to leave, a member of staff quickly came over and told me that somebody but would be with me shortly and to sit back down. I said I wasn’t staying, my chair and pedicure bowl were filthy. She looked at it and, I kid you not, said to me “that’s you, you made it dirty“. Firstly, no one had even touched my feet let alone clipped my toenails, so there is absolutely no way for my toenail clippings to be swirling around in the bowl. Secondly, I never put my feet in the bowl, so how is it possible for all of the dirt and grime in the bowl to be mine to begin with?They made such a fuss and were being so incredibly (and loudly) rude to me, it was really shameful and embarrassing for them.To be brief, if I am a customer who is unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the establishment and the lateness of the service, I have every single right to leave, no questions asked. They tried to embarrass me into staying. I will never go back.*Edit in response to owner: Yes this is the Olympic Nail next to Met Market. I have been here multiple times, as indicated in my review.

We booked online they texted me and asked if we can come in later I was like no I am sorry I have obligations during that time. They stated that they couldn’t make any more appointments but yet they use online booking capabilities, then why is the booking open to make appointments. We spend 500 every time we go there with the family. May we just need to find a good nail salon

The ladies here are very sweet and do great work! When I lived in Gig Harbor, this became my go-to place. Would definitely recommend!

Before the end of 2 wks, my pedicure was chipping on two toes, and a gel fingernail severed off. They charged $35 for my husbands simple manicure and didnt even offer to buff them. The nail operators were nice but the services werent a good value. I will go elsewhere next time.

This was a really weird and uncomfortable experience both times I’ve gone. I was getting a pedicure and acrylics at the same time. The lady doing my pedicure kept pulling my legs while I was trying to stay still for the other lady doing my acrylics. She would pull and push my legs around and then get mad at me if I wasn’t doing it right, while I was also trying to pay attention to the manicure. It was really embarrassing. At one point she jerked and pulled my leg so hard that I almost fell out of the chair and ended up with my foot connecting with her upper body. I felt awful and apologized, but again she was literally pulling me and it’s not like I had use of my hands to steady myself. She got mad and was extra rough throughout the remaining time she spent on the pedicure. She didn’t finish with adding polish and the manager noticed and finished after. Just a weird and awful experience. I was humiliated and made to feel like I did something wrong when I hadn’t, I was just being treated like a rag doll as opposed to an actual person.

We were rushed throughout the entire process. The pedicure and manicure options werent explained to us. We didnt have an option to choose the service we wanted. I couldnt enjoy the service because it felt like we werent wanted there. I had nail polish left on both of my hands and so did my child. The technician attempted to file off the paint which I didnt understand why. I asked them to use the nail polish remover. The effort was bare minimal and not at all successful. My daughters nail design was ruined on her toenails because we were rushed. It felt too quick and unenjoyable. The services are way too expensive, and the prices are not explained. I would avoid this place. This is for the Olympia location!

This was not a fun experience for me and my daughter. We made an appointment and showed up about 10 minutes early to pick nail colors. The ladies who gave us colors to choose from were not very friendly. One woman came over to my daughter and asked her what color she wanted (about 45 seconds after we were handed the colors). My daughter let her know she wasnt quite sure yet and the lady disappeared. We looked over to see her starting a pedicure on a woman who walked in and did not have an appointment. I think she could have been a little more patient, especially since we had an appointment that we were a little early for. My daughter got started almost 10 minutes after I did because she had to wait for another woman to finish up.My daughters full set turned out cute. I chose gel nails and they were done poorly. They started peeling and chipping the next day. The manicure was not done well either. My cuticles looked like nothing had been done and the massage last about 30 seconds per hand. I know these places are all about speed and getting things done, but we felt like no care was taken. As we left and I was about to pay, the young lady started to add our total on a calculator. She put 30 for mine initially and then yelled back to the woman who did my nails. That woman yelled back in return and then switched the price to 40 without any explanation. It was weird and awkward.

Danny did an amazing job on my acrylic fill today. Very good at communicating to make sure I liked the shape. Amazing attention to detail.

I was very rushed. They gave me maybe 20 seconds to try to pick out a nail color from a basket of samples. They took me back to a station. The woman wanted to work on one hand while I was still trying to find a color with the other hand. She wanted to use an electric filer to remove the gel instead of soaking them, which is not OK. Gels should always be wrapped in foil with remover first. The entire salon smelled badly of fish and was not very clean. I will not go back.

I am from out of town and was so excited to see a deluxe pedicure for 45$. Where I live, its 60$. They fit me in when the salon was very busy, I only had to wait a few minutes. The service was amazing, and I wish I could return more often.

The new best place for nails in Gig Harbor!

I got a manicure here last week and it was... fine. The hand massage was nice, I suppose, but my nails are now all different lengths and shapes. The polish had bubbles in it and you could clearly see stripes where the top coat didnt cover my entire nail. As long as you dont look too closely, I guess its not terrible. I could have done better at home, which defeats the entire purpose.I found it weird (and so unsafe) that they wanted me to use Venmo and not a credit card, so I used my card even though they charged an extra $2 for it. Dont go here for special occasions, and if you do go here bring cash.

Wonderful service and attention to detail. It was my first visit today and Lily did an excellent job! I got pink/white dip nails. The salon was very clean and she made sure that I was happy with my nails. Definitely will make this my usual place!

Olympic Nails is the best in the Harbor. I have been going for years. The new owners really made it even better. They do an amazing job there!! All the services they offer are top notch, but their pedicures are hands down THE BEST! Its a very nice atmosphere, comfy pedicure chairs, lots of nail color options and design choices and are very, very clean. Highly recommend.

Used to be really good. They are no longer using the liners in the pedicure bowls.The girl that did my nails really paid no attention to me. Spent more time looking around while filing my nails. Polish was ok but rest of service was approached rather sloppily. Spent more time talking loudly to all her co workers in their own language and laughing. Make customers feel really uncomfortable. She was more interested in them and hurrying to get off work by 6.I don’t know if the ownership has changed since covid but the service is not very customer oriented. Not worth the price. I tipped but it wasn’t deserved.I don’t think I will be returning.

Today was the first day I went to them. The salon is clean and classy. So many polishes to choose from(which I like a lot)! Some places have minimal selections. I explained what i wanted and Im very pleased with the finish look of my nails. I also got a regular pedi and I do have to say, it was one of the best pedis that I have gotten in a very long time. I was traveling from Calif. and broke a few nails. Danny asked what design I wanted I said something fall, you pick! He chose ombre AND 2 nails to highlight his artistry with marble look! First time for both of these for me! LOVE ‘em!!! Danny is attentive, kind, happy and very good at his craft! Please check the picture he posted! Lin and Mary gave my hubby & I wonderfully relaxing pedi’s with warm massage and were complete, thorough and diligent in entire process. Beautiful finishes in this salon, very classy! They even have their own ATM!Thank YOU Danny, Lin and Mary for all your care!

Went in on first day of Spring with no appointment. They were busy but got my daughter in anyway without waiting. It was for my girls birthday present. She loved it and was tickled with joy from her pedicure and manicure. Great job

Appreciate the cleanliness of the pedicure stations, and the technicians using protective gloves while working with each client. They are thorough in the delicate nail bed and nail trimming and the polish application is crisp and clean. This was my second visit and the $30 pedicure is a great value. 3 weeks after my first visit, the polish still looked fresh and shinny.

Love, love, love Olympic Nail! I can always call in and get an appointment the same day. Its not a crazy place like Tiny Nails. I like that its peaceful and the gals are always sweet. The owner always goes out of her ways to accommodate to your schedule. The price is the same as all the other salons. Oh and I can get a smoothie, coffee or lunch near by :)

I had the $32.00 hot stone pedicure + extra 15 minutes massage for an additional $12.00. It was very comfortable and well worth the charge. My Operator didnt rush, and I was able to relax in the recliner.

I havent had a pedicure in almost 9 months, it was my boyfriends first time ever. So of course we naturally needed a lot of tlc to the backs of our heels. Massages were great but they literally didnt bring out anything stronger than the purple bristle brushes. We have so much dead skin still visible on our feet idk how they thought that was acceptable service. They also arent using liners inside the foot tube. We also both got the most expensive pedicures they offered. Still tipped because were not jerks but definitely going to another location next time.

Seriously the best pedicure I’ve ever gotten in my life. The ladies are so sweet and they take their time to preform outstanding service. Reasonably priced for the top tier customer service. I love this nail salon.

Friendly, and efficient. As someone in the profession as a cosmetologist and barber I can assure you these ladies run a clean and beautiful shop. Also my nails are on point! My pedis are always relaxing and worth every penny.

The ladys here are very nice and friendly! There have been a few time where my nail polish has chipped the day after getting it done just from doing something like swimming laps. Most of the time it lasts a few weeks though. The times I have gotten my fingernails painted here, there are usually a few bumpy spots in the gel polish.

It was just ok. Did a full with Gel polish. Got a chip in the acrylic a few days after so I had to file it down. Probably wont go back.

I went in with an appointment, and even though I did, I was taken to sit down after 30 minutes of when I got there..It was extremely slow.. I was there for about 2 hours.. most of the time just sitting around.The lady who did my full set, spent a lot of time shaping the actual nails which was good but some of them are still uneven and probably would’ve looked fine if she would’ve just spent 10-15 minutes on them.. but it was almost a half hour on that alone.. and then when she went to apply the color, she didn’t use a top coat and some of my nails are already chipping and I got them done on Saturday.. the color also is kind of transparent on some due to the left out top coat..So yeah, I don’t think I’ll go here again.

First time going here. Read the reviews and thought the pictures were nice so decided to give them a try. I had called ahead to make an appointment, got there about 5-10 minutes before my appointment time and they seated me right away. Danny did my nails and I am very happy with the result. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and wasnt sure if I needed gel or dip and he gave me suggestions. I had different rhinestones on my nails and at the very end he looked at them and made a suggestion to use bigger rhinestones. That was very nice of him and I could tell he took some pride in his work. My nails are going to look very nice for my wedding. I would recommend going to see danny, he is great! Thank you very much!

If you want perfect nails exactly the way you want, come to olympic nails. I have tried other nail places and no one can beat olympic nails skill and professionalism. They are the best in the business! Proven time and time again.

I scheduled mani-pedi and eyebrows and lip and didn’t get the waxing done even though I scheduled that. Then when I went to pay I asked if I could leave a tip on the card & the response I got was, “no cash?” I was annoyed... lucky they even got a $15 tip from me. I didn’t get all the services I asked for and just felt like all they cared about was the money and getting me in and out. Not coming back.

If your in the HARBOR (Gig Harbor, WA) and your looking to find a nail salon with great service; Olympic Nails is the right place to go!Clean sterile environment, friendly professional employees and my nails look fantastic! Only problem maybe that Im to relaxed to go back to reality...princess moment is over. Unless you decide to walk 20 feet next door and pick up a treat at Starbucks!

I got a gel mani and pedi, my gel polish chipped the next day on my nails and my toe nails! Coming from someone who works in the spa service industry, it was poorly done. My mani took less than 10min and it cost me $50. Not worth my time.

I love the atmosphere. Kim does a great job and knows exactly what I need. Ihad to wait about 20 minutes but that’s because Kim has a lot of clients. Idon’t mind because she doesn’t rush when she is working on my feet.

I like that Olympic Mail n Spa take appts only. Other nail salons say sure come on in and then make you wait for over an hour... Then when its your turn, they are rushing you out! Olympia N&S is the best nail salon by far in Gig Harbor!!! Thank you for being so attentive when serving your customers (me)!!

The place is very clean, and the equipment looks brand new. They have an amazing selection of nail polish,and their waxing is very well done! The service is great and the people are very nice!When you leave, you feel refreshed! Hope you enjoy it! :)

This was my first time and I was absolutely impressed. I hadnt had my toes or fingernails done in months. They were thorough, took their time and I left with great looking polished toes while feeling very relaxed.

The ladies here have always been kind and attentive to detail and when I bring in Pinterest designs, they always are willing to try to accommodate! They carry diamonds too! They are so nice and very talented!

Great place to get manicures and pedicures.Very new and clean. They bought new massage chairs this past year that are so comfortable!.Staff is very friendly and they all do a great job.

I came in as a walk in. There were a few people finishing up their pedicures. I was lead to a seat where I was left to pick out the color i wanted for my acrylic manicure. The technician came up after a bit and got started. There were two other technicians sitting behind her. Occasionally theyd look over and say something to each other and start laughing. I thought they were watching a tv. But there was no tv(Or anyone/thing.) behind me... so that made me feel super uncomfortable. The technician nicked me a few times (Once with the nail clippers which now theres a small chunk of skin missing and once with the drill on my cuticle.) which made me not able to relax. I also have acrylic on my skin along with a lot of nail glue from the tips. She did pay a lot of attention to detail which was nice though because at least theyre all even in shape and paint. I dont think Ill be going again simply because I did not feel relaxed or comfortable.

Great place to get manicures and pedicures. They have a simple but effective booking portal on their website with available times. Service is quick and efficient in getting you in and out. I love their gel manicures!

My sister and I made an appointment for 5pm but we weren’t worked on until nearly 5:40.Other than that, I was very pleased with the work that they did, both for me and my sister’s spa pedicures.

Just another place that trying to push as many customers as quick as possible. Cut my toe nails way too short without permission and not even straight. Shape of my nails was horrible. Thick layer of acrylic looking upwards nails... no sense of beauty and esthetic

I was new to the area and this was a beautiful friendly nail salon that a friend recommended . I am very particular on how my nails are done and I appreciated the detail and time that Lilly put into my nails. I’ll definitely come back!

I normally get gel manicures but decided to try the new dip loved it and Anna (i think thats her name) was amazing.

I go over the bridge every 2 weeks just to have my nails done at this shop. So worth it! Thank you Kim and Lynn!!

I spent 2 hours in then put tips on my fingures and not even get things done all they did was put globs of acerl on worse place ever !!!!!!! I would never recommended it. Its a big waste of your time and money
