Unique Motel

Ive been to this place MANY times., to the point where one of their clerks knows my preference lol. Anyway, this is an overall review outlining all my experiences. Ive been there enough to know which rooms to avoid, etc... Having said this, this is not a standard hotel, its not made for overnight stays, if thats what youre expecting, DONT COME HERE. This is a partial day rental where you rent for 3 hours min and can increase time. Its made for people to have privacy. (read between the lines) That being said, it allows people with bad agendas to use these places for their own needs, hence the reason to limit room occupancy to 2 people max. (FYI if you want a 3rd, you can, but its extra, dont be cheap, just pay the bill and have the fun).PROS: Overall clean updated rooms with options for many fun amenities depending on your room style such as jacuzzi (they even include bubbles unlike executive hotels which dont, stripper poles, bondage cuffs on the wall, sex mats outside of certain Jacuzzis so u dont wet your bed, sex chairs, couples showers, fun lighting, adult movies, etc..) Price is very fair for whats provided, and in my experience is the best option out there. I like the drive up check in also, and the ability to buy some drinks, snack, and/or toys as well right at the window. Parking is available in spades here, some other properties only have parking available for one vehicle so if your partner drives themselves they may not find parking or waste time finding parking.CONS: The flooring they selected in the shower areas is DANGEROUS, I dont know who their architect was but they chose the most slippery flooring possible and you will bust your head if youre not careful, they dont play when it comes to your time limit, they call 15 mins before and let u know its time to gtfo. There are occasions when something isnt working, Ive had Jacuzzis not heat up or hold water but when Ive called theyve accommodated me with a similar room, (which is a positive) but my issue is Im not credited the time lost while they figure out what to do and Ive lost 20-30 mins which is an extra go that i miss out on if you catch my drift.

Disappointing Experience: Unprofessional and Disturbing Incident at this motelAs a frequent customer I have generally enjoyed my stays and appreciated the convenience and affordability it offers. However, my recent experience has left me with mixed feelings and a sense of disappointment.During my most recent stay, I encountered an incident that was both unprofessional and highly disturbing. While my girlfriend and I were relaxing in our room, an individual, who appeared to be an employee of the motel, abruptly and forcefully knocked on our door. The intensity of the knock was so extreme that it frightened and startled both of us. Before we could even respond, the person attempted to open the door without any prior warning or explanation.Such behavior is entirely unacceptable and a blatant invasion of privacy. As a loyal and returning customer, I expected a certain level of professionalism and respect from the motel staff. Unfortunately, this incident undermined my trust in the establishment and significantly impacted our overall experience.It is crucial for motel management to ensure that their staff members are appropriately trained and understand the importance of guest comfort, safety, and privacy. Instances like the one I encountered can not only lead to unnecessary distress but also create an unsafe environment for guests.

This place is no good I just get ouf of it, house skipping don’t speak English,I pay my room until 8 am todayThey come knock on the door without confirmation that I need to check out, I told both of the ladies I pay until 8 amIt’s 4:20 am my time not over she was mad and rude wanna enter the room,I left me and my Girlfriend, when I go down to return the key care,at the check out I asked her why you came to my room so early?She oh sorry sorry was a mistake I look at her I said really , was at the middle of my sleep you guys come for no reason,And I left.Never come back to that place no good at allDo not go there people.

The room was clean and quite decent, but there was a lot of noise outside from people with excessively loud music.

It is a motel room to rent for a few or longer hours. As cleanliness. The rooms are super clean. And modern. They took their time in upgrading the rooms. The ones on the main building on the second floor ( never been to the ones on the first floor) all come with dancing poles. Some come with funky chair for fun activities while others have his and her showers. I always see services cleaning the rooms. There is security on site. The location is right on Okeechobee but you enter on a side street. There is an apartment building being build next door so once that is complete there might be more or less traffic. Plenty of parking spaces. A lot of lights outside but very private inside. Staff seems friendly. I have never had any issues.

Housekeeping is very rude! They do not like to do their job. Just one Very thin sheet for a blanket, the remote for the tv doesn’t even work.. and they over-charge if you want to check in early before 8 pm. I heard a woman yelling for security in the room next door, possibly from a domestic dispute.. So I didn’t really feel safe.. rooms are clean though thankfully. Some rooms are very nice (they have different rooms you can choose from, I don’t recommend the standard room which is the cheapest) I would’ve gave a better rating but this hotel need to take notes on how to successfully run an establishment correctly.

If this time it would’ve been like the first time around we would give it 5 stars and continue recommending the place but it was nothing close to the first time. Leaving a 1 star review because we got a room that had no hot water and we literally came to hang out here because of the Hot tub. We thought we had found a place close to home to escape to and have some alone time since the place was remolded and it’s clean and that’s hard to find in Okeechobee these days, but seems like that bubble is bursted. The first time we came we liked it so much that we came back 2 days later, but we really regret having come today. We spoke to the front desk and they told us that if we left we couldn’t get a refund and even if we paid the difference they couldn’t move us to another room because there were none available, to their credit the front desk receptionist was really courteous and really tried to be helpful and tried extending the hours as a courtesy but what’s the point if there was not water in the hot tub or the shower. A tip, if you decide to give the place a try make sure they don’t give you room 118! We ended up not staying and losing money. As for us, we’re not coming back again.

I’ve been to plenty of motels like these and this one is by far the most unique. Most places have lobbies but this one had a drive through instead, which was pretty interesting. Had a little trouble communicating with the lady cause I don’t speak any Spanish, but she was accommodating. The room itself was small and plain. Just a bed with a thin sheet, tv, table, two chairs, and a bathroom. The temperature in the shower wouldn’t get warm, the handle seemed sort of broken. There was a loud buzzing noise that’d go off outside every few minutes. This went on the whole night and got pretty annoying. But the most interesting part of the night was when my boyfriend and I heard a blood curdling scream from one of the rooms next door to us. We have no idea what happened but it sounded sketchy. there was banging from housekeeping a few moments later telling them they had to leave immediately. Then there were walk-ie talkie noises, people leaving and getting into their cars. We stayed inside and waited it out. Couldn’t stop thinking about that scream the whole night… I spotted a roach before falling asleep and two more before leaving in the morning. It was a very unique experience indeed. Enough for a life time in fact, I don’t think I should ever go back.

This place unfortunately made me feel for the first time in my life extremely uncomfortable, harassed and unbelievably mistreated when I decided to rent a room for the all night rate on September 29th to check out on my bday September 30th since it was a bday gift for me to relax and unwind and of course , giving the fact that I was traveling the day after I had some friends to stop by give me a birthday/bon voyage hug...I checked in at 11pm and at 4am I had my first guest, he left at 4:45.....but my living nightmare started when by 5:15am my friends Norman and his boyfriend also wanted to show some birthday love and decided to stop by after getting off their backyard shift at the SOBE hotel they work at.... approximately 1 minute after they walked in the door , Daniel, (front office clerk who checked me in in a extremely rude manner to begin with) proceeds to call the room and in extreme condescending, unprofessional, improper, unethical, amateur, and inadequate simply kept questioning me why I had 2 people in the room with me when he had told me when i checked in that there was not allowed more than 2 ppl in the room... He never let me squeeze one word in, and always with a threatening tone , kept talking and talking as if I was just someone he was doing a favor to or something, and even after I somehow miraculously managed to make him listen to me to tell hm that my friends were leabig in minutes they were one, using the shower and other using the toilet, he kept calling my room every 10/20 seconds for approximately 6/7 times, even sending housekeeping staff to walk into the room and and verify the amount of guests. DO NOT EVER GO THERE. ITS EXTREMELY MIND BLOWING THAT THERES IGNORANT PEOPLE WITH NO MANNERS NOR EDUCATION LIKE THAT DANIEL, WORK CHECKING IN GUESTS IN A HOTEL, OR any kind of customer service position. Also to be noted, none of the employees of the hotel knew Daniels last name.

The front desk lady was super nice, for the amount of money you pay either hourly or for the whole night (after 6 pm) it really offers a lot of value, is clean, safe, comfy bed, nice tv and it’s really meant for adult encounters, people expecting 5 star amenities with the prices of a motel are delusional. I’m returning again but this time to be naughty all night long, putting an add online to get fun that night.

The room was fairly clean and very romantic-corney (complete with a heart shaped hot tub). The staff was very nice and even worked with me to ship my glasses to my home when I left them behind. The price was excellent given the proximity to the airport.

Today I got a room for 5 hours $95 flat no hidden fees , had an amazing time with my girl had the best (you know🙃) but yes everything was clean yeah it smelled a bit like cigs but not overwhelming brought food the jacuzzi was the best part , it had a strip pole and had some fun with it I would definitely come again to this place , but I was kind to the cleaning people left everything in on spot for them to just pick up and clean and go, best place if you want to stay for a few hours or a night , by the way bring your own blanket bc the blanket there isn’t so cozy to sleep with you get cold with it 🤷🏻‍♂️But over all best place

It is unique, the worst experience ever, guaranteed!!There is a sign outside with the price, but the recepcionist asked for cash for the difference because the credit card machine broke. We asked for a receipt and they couldnt print. Got a room with private parking, the garage door was closed and were told to go around. R día, but there was public parking. We asked for a refund and the lady disappeared. Another one came, once we explained what happened and asked for a refund, she said didnt know what that was and disappeared too.We ran the bell several times and nobody came. We hope to address the issue with the bank.... unique...

Professional staff and very clean. A couple of shady people were in the hallway when I ran out to my car for something. They have security. So I felt relatively safe. Ive overnighted here several times over the years. Never had any mishaps. Good price and great locale.

Very nice staff!! Motel has changed its name to Unigue Motel!!! Lower prices, amazing staff, adults only, can rent rooms for 2 to 4 hours or all night after 6pm. Its repainted has beautiful lights outlining the motel. Refrigerator in jacuzzi rooms. Prices reduced a bit. Garaged rooms. I absolutely love it. No key deposit. Can leave room key in room and just leave when ready to leave, no check out!!! ❤❤❤❤

The worst experience I ever had! Dont stay here! Rude customer service!Theyd rather talk on the phone and talk to each other instead of taking care of you! Gave me a smoky room to begin with. That wasnt what I paid for! You have to activate your key every day. This is a bootleg place! Never had to do this at any other hotel but this one! This place is old and outdated. There is no microwave or fridge in your room. Please dont come here if you are a business person and need to print and fax anything! You have to pay a $5 key deposit. Where does that come from!This is not your normal hotel. They let food flyers be placed in their lobby for the food places to sell you old, over-priced food and rip you off!!!

I will give this place a 10 out of 10 for my own personal needs. I cannot even describe the kind of hotel this is. I guess the closest thing would be the title of a Fantasy Motel. For my own personal needs I just wanted a garage for my motorcycle. The bonus was walking into the room and seeing strobe lights, adult videos on TV and etc. There is another hotel in the area that offers the same. However neither will let you reserve. Its on a first come first serve bases. The rooms can be rented hourly and by the night. It requires you rent a batch of hours first if you come during the day. The prices arent bad at all. But my advice to any bikes that may be reading this, you might want to get there early to beat the rush of lovers that flock to these hotels.

Good hotel, we were here for 3 days, the roomIs big and clean. It’s not a hotel 5 starts but I liked a lot because is clean and the service is polite.The price is reasonable y is not to far from the touristy places ( Miami Beach 10 miles)

Last time I went to this place, I payed for 4 hours. Housekeeper try to kick me out after 2 hours and they don’t speak a English word. After 3 hours they called me on the phone and told me my time is over and sent security. They should be professional or update their computer when people pay for 4 hours, not to disturb them.

Warning: don’t believe those five start rating, they are fake! This is the WORST MOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN AMERICA! My room only have one power outlet, but it is not close to bed. The refrigerator is totally broken, and will make loud noise all the night. What’s more, this motel is not smoking free, so don’t be surprise if you smell skunk in your room. And there are only two towels, which are as hard as rocks, and only on thin chip of soap provided.

This is a super basic motel with NO FRILLS. No personal care items. Not even kleenex. Room was quiet water pressure was great (a plug in the tub wouldve been nice), bed was comfortable and room was fairly clean. Tv small and towels small and not soft. But for the price and location, not bad.

No pool, no fridge, no microwave, it doesnt even have any wall plugs. I asked the front desk clerk if they had a complementary breakfast and he said yes, we have fresh coffee smh

Let me start by saying if you arent the adventurous type of couple or you are on the search for just a regular hotel, pool, microwave, fridge, non smoking rooms ect or youre just a straight edge same old same old couple then this hotel is NOT for you. Keep looking elsewhere. But, if youre both ready for a little or A LOT of fun, youre open minded and want to stay somewhere unique then this hotel is a GREAT option and please keep reading!My boyfriend and I were planning on finding a hotel in the area for Sunday night. But werent going to have a lot of time because we were going to be checking in around 10pm and checking out at 9am due to the business we had to tend to as well. We were really wanting a Jacuzzi tub and I kid you not EVERY hotel (around the airport) in Miami with a Jacuzzi tub was around $300!!!NO WAY! and that was just for your basic hotel room with a Jacuzzi tub. NO frills!Just on a hunch I started looking for hotels in Hialeah because it was only about 15 minutes from the airport area and I came across the Hialeah Motel ~ Adults only and needless to say it really peaked my interest as well as my boyfriends.So we called and asked if we could reserve a room. The man on the phone was loaded with personality and assured me they would have a room for us when we arrived regardless of the time and that it would be $100 flat and we could pay cash. AWESOME! Imagine that a hotel with no hidden fees and tax was already included in the price and we get a Jacuzzi HEART SHAPED tub and a big tv?? Well take it!!Upon arriving at around 10:30 on Sunday night we were greeted and check in was a BREEZE! They had reasonably- moderately priced liquor, wine, bubble bath, condoms, and lube for purchase upon check in or you could have it delivered to your room for a small fee. The lobby was fresh smelling and clean. There was also a drink machine, snack machine, and fresh coffee in the morning in the lobby.The outside was very quiet and the building was well kept. We also felt very safe as there was a security guard onsite. We went up the stairs to head to our room. Upon entering the hallway there was a faint smell of smoke (ill leave it to your imagination what kind of smoke) but it wasnt overbearing.Upon entering our room (212) we were greeted with a very large, clean, fresh smelling room!!There is no microwave or fridge. You have to keep in mind that this room more for fun rather than necessity! the bathroom was clean and the Jacuzzi was clean. I wiped them both down with sanitize wipes and there was no dirt on the wipes after wiping down the sink, toilet, and Jacuzzi.The bed was big enough for 2 people and the linens were very clean and seemed to be brand new, the mattress was comfy and upon inspection of the mattress we found no trace of bed bugs and the mattress was protected.Heres where the good stuff starts!Ladies, if you want to knock the socks off your man this is the place to do it!!Within 15 minutes of check in were in the room filling up the HUGE heart shaped Jacuzzi tub with hot steamy water and pleasant smelling bubble bath that we purchased in the lobby for $5.The big flat screen tv had 3 adult entertainment channels...No commercials or breaks and about 10 regular channels. there was a car stereo and speakers built into the dresser which we thought was really neat!Also our room was quiet! We heard music in other rooms walking down the hallway but once we were in the room all we could hear were the sounds of our love and laughter and some fun on the TV!The window in the room does open and every room is a smoking room. So this was PERFECT for us as we are smokers (again Ill leave it to your imagination what kind of smoke)What was planned as an hour of a nice hot dip in the Jacuzzi before bed turned into 4 hours of full of fun, reconnect, and relaxation! We will absolutely come back and plan to make this our spot whenever we come to Miami just us in the future!

If I could give it less than one star I would. Bugs everywhere in the bathroom. Rusted shower. Human secretions all over the walls. Nasty!! Even if you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay before your flight this is not worth it. Pay $40 more for something better. I promise you will be thankful. Im not a picky person. This is literally the worst ever :(

Adults only, which is ok. No non-smoking rooms. Two undersized bath towels, one facecloth, 2 thin bars of soap, 2 pillows, barely enough t-p for one night and am. Nothing else. Could smell the smoke on my clothes (non-smokers) that were in my suitcase for a few days.

Only problem I had was phone not being picked up other then that staff was super nice, room was amazing and it’s perfect for some alone time with spouse , definitely recommend rooms are amazing and jacuzzi was the best

Just one plug socket in the whole room. Dark and very underlit. heartshaped bath tub looked like it had been cleaned in acid. I wouldnt step in it, if you dared me, lol. Tiny towels, half a toilet roll, filthy bathroom floor, not a single plug in the bathroom sink or bathtub, Internet is at best patchy. Only stayed here because everywhere else was full! Says it all!

Terrible. Rooms smell like mold. Just a few minutes from being in the room, I asked for a transfer, only to be transferred to another room that looks like it came from the 1980s and still smelled like mold and mildew. What was his response? There is nothing I can do. I will not return the money. Was made to pay cash because there would be an additional $15 fee for paying with a credit card. What I think is happening, none of my business but owner check your staff.

An ultra-luxurious hotel located close to Miami’s vibrant boulevards. The best food, entertaining zones are just at a walking distance, top-class accommodations with spacious balconies, Glass bottom pool captivated our attention the most. Just a few steps away from pristine beach sand. A must visit hotel for vacationers who want to enjoy at the fullest.

Worst motel I have ever been. The whole place smells like cigarrette. The bedsheets look like have never been changed. You do not feel safe in there as well. I will never get back there.

Hated it..I find their rooms very un appealing 2roaches on head board n 1in bath room..my coochie gets sadUgh..at this hell hole..It changed my opinion of the company I was with..I hated this place and didnt want to ever return.I guess he liked the price cuz hed head straight there 2 other times..and I told him I dont like this place..Im not comfortable here.I may not know alot about Motels nor visited many but I know what I dont like and this one I hate it with a passion. I like the executive by the airport or by Okeechobee Rd..lolclean and pretty and welcoming.Those are the ones that I can compare this one to and they both beat it by a home run

Its a good laugh, we had fun. Make sure you bring personal care products. No microwave and cab drinks are 2 dollars.

Room smelled of smoke was jus a bed a tv and bathroom room not what i expected will not be back for the price could have been better but for one night after partying so i wouldnt drink and drive it was ok...they jus wont get my money again

Was given a nasty room with a concrete bed for 80 dollars on a Thursday the young guy lied and said there is no more rooms but the parking lot is empty I went to mansion next door way better!!

Today, Sunday, April 14, at 3 am in the morning, I was attended to by a woman who gave me high prices for the rooms, prices that were not on the list, her service has always been very terrible and the list of her rooms says that the Check out of the room paying for the whole night is at 11 and their advertising says it is at 12 and she reiterates that it is at 11 in the morning, they have misleading advertising, in general it is rude, the rooms smell like cigarettes, they make The staff is very noisy, I definitely do not recommend that hotel!!!

If you go at night there is no problem but if you plan to come in the morning at 7am forget it the woman is rude and wants to be paid in cash so she can steal the money it is disrespectful this happened on 5-6-24 at 7am Watch out supervisors are losing customers

I do not recommend for 8 hours, impossible to sleep. The carts have plastic wheels and the noise is constant every time they cross and the staff in the hallways does not stop talking, otherwise their rooms are very good.

Beautiful place, visit the Pool suite and it is truly a magical place, the rooms are very clean and modern, I recommend it 💯!!!!

I paid for a VIP room it turns out that when I go to use the jacuzzi after having made love and being naked it didnt work when I called the reception he told me that he was going to change me but that I had 15 minutes to report any problem. It seemed to me A lack of respect as if it had been my fault. I have been there several times, the cleanliness is really excellent, with the new owner they have made several changes and I really like it. The only thing I dont like is the maintenance people since they always start talking on the night at night.Radio or with others loudly and they dont let people rest with their shouts and noise, but otherwise excellent, I should just change that part.

Today was my first time visiting this place and it will be the last, there was no water in the toilet apart from the fact that it was clogged and the water did not go down. The man who was serving was terrible with a very bad temper.

The worst service, they dont check things well to rent the rooms because they were blaming me for damaging a TV and I didnt even turn it on. Maybe it was the person who was there before me and then I was there 2 more times and they didnt let me know. They had said nothing about that, I was able to rent without a problem. Afterwards, they no longer bothered me to rent for something that wasnt even my fault. One bad review by the manager.

The boy in the night is a respectful love. but the woman on the day shift is rude! I saw one of the clean ones leaning against the door with her ear glued to the gossiping Chiva...a Cuban and when she saw me she didnt know where to go... if that was my room, what are you doing listening...

I never recommend it, I know perfectly well that this motels main function is to provide hourly service to people who are looking for an intimate place, but it turns out that I made my reservation online from another state and I found a room without a refrigerator, if I wanted a room with I had to pay extra for said refrigerator, no power outlets next to the bed and only two towels, no duvet for the cold of the night and what to say about the constant smell of marijuana, the workers with good service but the quality of the hotel was terrible

I went several times before it changed ownership and it was good but I went recently and the experience was disastrous, the prices were super high, a lot of shouting in the early morning from the service staff, in short I dont recommend it at all 😡🥵
