Loft of Augusta

The bartenders are amazing but the DJ skips us during karaoke lol. Put songs in just for him to go back up to the top of the list, used to like this place when they would let us sing, will take my business elsewhere

I’ve gone in here a couple times but I was always turned off by their dress code policy. To me, it came off as racially motivated, so when I looked it up I found many articles confirming my suspicions. I also noticed both times I visited it was only filled with white people. Now, seeing other reviews saying they had racist encounters at this establishment didn’t surprise me. I’d steer clear and certainly won’t be coming back.

Beware of the racist blonde white female DJ!!I went to the Loft tonight for my birthday with some friends and my husband. The DJ was a white blonde female who was playing all types of genres back to back. My husband,who is black, wanted to request a song, so went up to the DJ AND BEFORE HE COULD SAY ANYTHING, the DJ who is repeat, a white female stated that shes doesnt play any TRAP music! He hadnt even said anything and automatically assumed that since he was black he was going to request trap music. THIS IS NOT OKAY! I dont know what her definition of trap music is .I spoke with the manager at the bar and she stated she would go talk to her. The manager went and talked to the racist DJ for several minutes. Nobody ever came and talked to us or apologized or anything. The Loft was very unprofessional and it felt they did not care and brushed this off. All my friends and I left and we will not come back. The only thing that came out of this was the DJ played more rap music after the talk.The whole situation was not okay and we felt very disrespected and not welcomed. We will follow up on this.

Came for a birthday party. I am leaving this review after I was denied access after supposedly stumbling in. Bouncer accepted all of the women in our group but denied me the one man. Not worth going to. Bathrooms are dirty with bugs and so are liquor bottles. Came out against my better judgment for a birthday party and I definitely regret it. Truly a bad atmosphere with bad employees. When I told them I was going to write a bad review they laughed in my face. Shut this bar down!!!!

Came here for dancing on Saturday night around 1am. Not much action on the dance floor, but that just meant more room to move. A little disappointed that last call happened so early. It was my first time visiting, and I liked the atmosphere and the drinks. Ill need to visit again to get a better feel for it.

I love the Loft itself...great atmosphere!!! Problem I have is slow service...had to ask 3 times if I could get some service from 2 bartenders that were right in front of me. The bar was not busy at all. Only three of us. All three of us waited patiently on the two bartenders hoping that they would notice us and do their job. They didnt so I asked for us. Each time getting louder until they heard us. Again, I love coming here but would come more often if the service was alot quicker and smiled with better attitudes. Visited the Loft Saturday night 9-3-22 .

X4 time Latin Grammy song writter nominee x 5 time songwriter of the year Rod Eunel Rodriguez made his appearance on the loft his opinion was more of less dead but excellent bartering fast and very friendly overall staff strongly will recommend first time there good times. Will visit again soon!!!

Just know if you decide to come here, you might be attacked by a bouncer!! Some friends and I went out for a couple drinks and some karaoke. We were told by a bouncer that we couldn’t vape, but before we could comply, we were asked to leave. My friend calmly said he’d like to finish his beer that he paid for first, and he was attacked by a bouncer who put him in a headlock. Then his bouncer buddies proceeded to drag my friend out, all the while cussing us out. Unbelievable. We are currently undergoing an investigation to press charges against these idiots. This isn’t the 1950’s, you can’t grab black people by the neck anymore. Whatever you do, stay clear of this racist establishment.

This place embodies the come on in kind of bar. Tito, the bar tender is one of those guys you can just make friends with. Exceptional human being. People were ok and everyone seemed to sing a diverse music genre on karaoke. Whenever I come back to Augusta again, this is my first stop!

What a great venue for music. I have had mixed experiences with seeing music in Augusta. There has always been a mix of the Venue seeming empty because of the space (Sky City) or terrible acoustics (Soul Bar) I was kind of doubtful on what this would be like. It was great. The crowd had energy, local bands were supporting each other. Just the right amount of space for the shows they book.

Friendly bartenders. Large place so u can find a place to chill and enjoy a drink and a game of pool. They have several tables avail. Security onsite. Great selection of beer and liquor avail. Good variety of people here. Great DJ who will indulge ur karaoke need on Thursday night. Overall good place to hang out. My girlfriend wants to go here everytime were downtown :)

My kind of bar. If it was in my neighborhood it would be a must go to bar. Staff was fantastic. Drinks reasonably priced.

They do karaoke here tuesday through Thursday and Gracie is always so nice and sweet. Good place for a pool game, a few beers, and a song or two on karaoke.

I go here a lot. Most of the time i dislike the music last night,The girl dj on the 15th. Was amazing!!!

This is a great bar to go if you want to relax and listen to great music. Good beer with good prices. All of the staff is really friendly too!

I stay down the road from this place. Its def. One of the more crowded places. They have awsome service and the bartenders are on point. Highly recommended to any and everyone who is of age.

Usually clean, drinks are not consistent and get stronger throughout the night to the point of becoming undrinkable. The normal crowd always seem to have someone looking for a fight.

Lovely crowd and always fun on Karaoke night. The staff is friendly and drinks are reasonably priced.

Great music, got like three pool tables if you interested in playing pool, nice drinks at a good price and great atmosphere 😊
