First time here.I liked the place a lot. Came with my mom.We ordered 2 different ceviches.ceviche mixto and cangrejoalong with the tostones with shrimp (forgot the actual name)The server was very attentive and friendly.And talked to us as we waited for the food since we ordered to go.The tostones with shrimp was amazing. They put this nice sauce and stuff on it. Delicious.The ceviche was on point too! Can’t complain.Good service. Good food too. 🙌🏽💯

This is not Peruvian, Ceviche was warm the first time I went. I tried to give them a second chance by going back to try their lunch special and sucks.. Chicken soup (bad) fry chicken with French fries and rice.. looked like a kids menu... what and insult to Peruvian food..PS.. Mega salchipapa $29?? come on..

Stop by here for lunch during the week, just to get a quick “leche de Tigre” civiche. When I walked into the restaurant, the place smells like old fish… I should have walked out right away, but I had placed an order to go…. Once I paid for the food, and left.. I opened up the food to discover something that I would not even give to my cat. I immediately had to throw it out due to the smell, you could tell that this was not fresh, and has been sitting in lemon juice for a long time…. I highly do not recommend this place…

This place has very limited parking. The food was good and large portions. The service was great. We were a party of 6 and we arrived early for dinner.

I went for the first time with high expectations and was very disappointed. The food and drinks were overpriced. The lady didn’t know how to make drinks then they charge has if it was a real bartender making the drinks. The food wasn’t good at all. The ceviche was warm and the fried fish was mushy and flavorless. I paid $140.00 and for what? Bad experience. The only thing good was the service. Parking sucks.

Be careful!!! they are thieves. Read your bill when you come out!!! They practically charge you for the air you breathe and then he argued about it. They charge you 18% gratuity, CC Service charge of $3.00 on top of the prices on the plates being way overpriced, lacking labor and quantity. I am embarrassed to say that this gentleman is Ecuadorian. I thought my people had a lot more Integrity than this.

However, I must express my disappointment in the recent changes I have observed.Unfortunately, the shrimp ceviche I ordered was of subpar quality. The shrimp did not taste fresh, and the fish had an unpleasant odor. To make matters worse, I even found a hair in my ceviche. I understand that these issues may not be the owners fault, but I implore you to consider inspecting your employees and ensuring the freshness of your food.My order also came incomplete.I genuinely enjoyed your ceviches in the past and would love to continue supporting your establishment. I hope you take my comments into consideration and take the necessary steps to make improvements. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

We love to try new places but one good advice DONT GO TO THIS ONE.. the waiter was great the food was horrible and on top of that the manager has no idea how to manage a restaurant, we tasted the food and couldnt take a second bite told the manager and he only gave us 50% off... AVOID THIS PLACE all the food is frozen and over charged .

The food is delicious and the service is great! I’ve had Peruvian food at other restaurants and the quality here is great. Also, there’s not a lot of places like this in Hialeah so I love that they’re located here. Our tip was automatically added to the receipt so do pay attention to that. I didn’t notice till later after we already tipped in cash but it looks a family-owned place and I’m happy if it goes to the business. A lot of places closed after the pandemic and hopefully this one stays for a long time. I will return ☺️Edit: I just found out an automatic gratuity helps fund the restaurant and is considered separate from a tip 👍

I usually order the seafood rice via take out and I have no complaints. The food taste good it taste fresh. The price is affordable especially if your going for lunch. The portions are big so one meal and be two.

One of my supervisors was actually from Peru and she felt like she was eating a Home cooked meal! Authentic and fresh food.We will definitely be ordering again in the future. Recieved my delivery and this is what I get, small quantity of meat and it came poorly packaged, very dissapointed.

Food was tasty however service wasn’t. We ordered take out and when picking it up the cashier took in other people that go there after we did and she was unable to split the bill in half. Instead of trying to figure it out she started getting upset that we were asking to pay with two cards and we left it at that since she was unable.

The food was expensive and did not have an authentic flavor. The service was exceptional that is why we stayed. Place needs a lot of work

This place is amazing. I live 30 minutes away. We ordered POLLO SALTADO, PICADERO BARRUNTO, LECHE DE TIGRE, PAPA A LA HUANCAINA, CEVICHE MIXTO, Y LOMO SALTADO. Everything was delicious. It has 6 tables and a bar. There is also a pool table. The parking is a bit small and they work with food delivery services like Uber. The customer service is superb. I felt very catered to and the music is fire. This is a wonderful whole-in-the-wall. I would definitely come back and tell others about this wonderful place. Its finger-licking good!!!!!

I ordered the chaufa mixed seafood and meat for $20 and change, it tastes good but literally only had 3 shrimps and one clam, if at least it would have had an even number I could have shared with my partner but instead it was a 1 half a clam each and 1:2 shrimp eachNot worth the drive

The place was very cozy, a little small, but the service was top-notch, the seasoning was just right, the Mr. who cooked was super nice, because he came out to greet us and ask if everything was okay, and thats not what you can see. The lomo saltado was very delicious and flamed, the jelly was very good, mixed chufa rice was delicious, and the tacutacu with lomito was very, very delicious, which is why I gave it 5 stars.

The place is acceptable but the encebollado is a little expensive for the flavor. It practically had no flavor, I had to ask for more lemons and add salt to give it flavor but I didnt like it, they put too much cassava and fish ???……. Almost nothing seems to be a cassava encebollado. The onion cut into super thick strips. It is not fair that one expects to find good and delicious food from my country and it leads to tremendous disappointment.

The onion was spectacular!! What a pleasure to be able to enjoy a quality Ecuadorian dish in Miami!! They treated us like family and made us feel at home!!

Bad food Yesterday I bought rice with seafood and I had to throw it away...the rice was hard and full of dye like crazy... I even stained the box... the ceviche was sour I had to throw it away...The guy at the bar greeted me with his back turned and with a bad face. I will never go back to that restaurant... We went to this restaurant to eat since it was Peruvian/Ecuadorian, first of all, the place is nothing out of this world, little parking, the food was very expensive, I ordered a lomo saltado, the meat was of very poor quality and tough, we ordered encebollado, it looked like a soup and almost no fish, I had to cut the fish into small pieces, to be able to mix it with the rest of the encebollado broth, I only went to try the encebollado, almost $23 for each one, I dont mind paying This price if the food were of better quality, dont waste your time in this place, the owners wife dressed like a woman on the street, my experience was terrible, never again.

I came to this place on the recommendation of a friend and I followed them on Instagram and today we had the opportunity to taste their dishes and it really was a culinary explosion. Everything was super delicious and good service from Salome, super friendly and professional. We will be back with great pleasure.

Each dish is for $20 and I dared to order encebollado thinking that it would be excellent due to the price, but it was quite the opposite, exaggerated cassava, chunks of onion and NOTHING of flavor, the juice was $5 and it is not natural, tremendous disappointment, the waitress I didnt know ANYTHING about what the dishes came with, terrible experience, everything was very expensive and bad and on top of that when I came to post my review I see that some of the people who write good reviews are the same waitresses who work there, so dont be overconfident, I dont recommend it to no one🤷🏻‍♀️👎🏽

I was able to live almost two years in Peru. I work in a dental clinic nearby and as a frequent customer, I can say that I have tried almost the entire menu of this restaurant and I cannot point out a dish that I do not like. Excellent, I would give it one more star. If you want to try something really Peruvian you have to go to Barrunto, I have tried other Peruvian restaurants and I still choose this one.
