Massage Envy

Massage was ok, Ive had better. I came to relax but I felt a lot of pressure from I guess a sales rep or the front desk girl, she had the nerve to ask me whats stopping you from getting a membership today? I literally just went to use my gift card and relax but the communicating part kind of annoyed me and ruined the relaxing part of my experience, I dont think I will be returning to chain massage places, sticking to spas.

I scheduled with Chris but ended up with Cassandra. WHAT A GREAT MASSAGE! Truly one of the best massages of my life and I am not a stranger to massages. She made me feel so much better and I honestly was not expecting to have greater range of motion and less pain in my neck. I thought it was ok; wasnt until she was done with me I realized I was in pretty bad shape. Been lifting and working at a computer the last six days so this was great. I will come back and schedule with Cassandra again. Thanks! Highly recommend. Shes quiet and efficient. :)

Out of the different locations I’ve tried this one is by far the best! The customer service is always top tier. When is comes to massages, Maria is the absolute best!!! She is truly the best masseuse I’ve had, she took her time and was able to know my problem areas without being told. If you come make sure to ask for her you won’t regret it!

Maria!!! I have been searching for someone that is detailed and gentle and I lucked up and found Maria! She has healing hands. I suffer from neck and back pain and I feel so relaxed and at ease right now. She found every knot and loosened it without me telling her. I was about to cancel my membership but, Maria changed my mind!!!

Walked in to ask a few questions about pricing young lady named Abby was very sweet and informative. However she was by herself for a long period of time while checking out guests and answering calls, she did amazing but would love to see some extra hands upfront just to speed up the process.

Do not come here. This is one of the worst massage, envy places I have ever been to, and and I feel like the whole staff needs to be retrained on explaining their protocols or policies. I was tricked into a contract thinking it was a month to month thing I received two credits from paying $75 a month that I did not even get to use. I called to reschedule at no point in time did the lady on the phone tell me that if I rescheduled it was going to charge me then when I arrived at my rescheduled appointment they charge me $65 again and said I had no credits on file . Scammers

Alana was great! She focused on the area that I had an issue with and suggested several things to help alleviate the issue such as stretches. Will definitely be going back to her!

Ariana & Dawn are the reason I got the membership here. Ariana does a WONDERFUL job executing a very intentional facial. Her integrity for not only your skin but for yourself is very rare to find. I didn’t feel pressured into buying something. Her hands literally melted into my skin. Dawn is by far my favorite here when it comes to massages. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to your body’s need! I literally could keep going on and on but if you’re thinking about getting a membership do it!!!!

Ahhhhh! Thats all I have to say. Masseuse Michael did an amazing job on my full body. Lauren was very informative and respectful for my wishes. I am a member now and cant wait to go back.Update: Again, I had an awesome experience with Michael. I used some aromatherapy this time, and it was really relaxing 😌. The office staff always have a smile on their face and are very helpful and welcoming. The facility is also so clean and smell so good.

Misty did incredible. She had a great attitude. Very nice. And was very personable. She really helped loosen up the tension in my shoulders. I have already made my next appointment with her.

Im thankful for the appointment reminders and advertising. My therapist was Shannon and she is amazing! I couldnt have asked for better attention to my requests. She has the most amazing calm about her which is so important to me. Thank you, Shannon. See you in 2 weeks.

Yemeka is a true healer. If you suffer from neck/shoulder/jaw pain - go see this woman. I’ve seen dozens of therapists, and have never experienced pain relief like she gave me today. Came all the way here to drop this review.

I’ve been frequenting this location for some time now. I LOVE getting a massage from Michael. He’s friendly and attentive. He takes the time to make sure you’re 100% comfortable, and really listens when you explain what you need. He books up so fast, which should be a great review all by itself. 😁

From the moment I walked in, the staff (Lindsey, Kayla and Mikey) were very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating. I purchased a year long membership, they were very helpful. My first massage was fantastic, the therapist (Diona) really listened to my needs about areas of focus, firmness of touch, etc. She met all my needs perfectly. So happy to be a member here!

Ive been to several Massage Envys, but the Atascocita location is the best. The folks working up front are warm, friendly and helpful and the massage therapists are great, especially Misty W. She.is.amazing if youre in need of a medium/firm pressure massage; her technique is exactly what I need for my specific pain points. I feel better after my massage with Misty than I have in a long time.

I have a membership with massage envy. Its a hit or miss with some of the staff, whether it be massage or facials. Ive had great facials and one great massage, so far. My microderm abrasion hurt. My second massage was not so great. 😩 I was sore for a few days. I guess you have to make sure you voice your problem areas before they start.

Ive been a member off an in since 2006. The care and professionalism of this chain has really gone down. Today ME invited me to come in for an earlier appointment because there was a cancellation. I arrived on time, checked in and waited. After 15 minutes I go to the desk and ask them to notify my therapist. Five minutes later he comes out flustered, annoyed, and calling the wrong persons name. He walks me back and starts reading from the tablet so fast that I couldnt even understand him. I ask him about being over 20 minutes late and will the session be 20 minutes longer? He says, in a very dismissive and unapologetic way I dont know. I ask him to walk me to the front to speak to the manager. If Im here for a relaxing experience and Im met with negativity and a bad attitude my response will always be no thanks. I cancelled my membership and will be happy to spend my dollars elsewhere.

I have been to many Massage Envy locations over the years and I can honestly say the Atascacita location is one of the best I have ever been to. The massages are great but once I had the facial, I’ll never go back anywhere else. Cindy almost relaxes me more than my massage. If you haven’t had the facials, take the time and treat yourself. It’s worth it. Especially after a long busy day!

I always get a massage there and it is amazing. There is a black female, I can’t remember her name but she is the best hands down. Patient, can do all types of massages and truly you can tell she loves what she does. Appointment scheduling is fairly easy. I use to get facials from Monica but she Recently left which is heart breaking. Overall a great facility!!!!!! And experience

Great location. Everyone really nice, professional and helpful. All peels, microdermabrasions and facials thoroughly explained. I have a membership and once they just chose a random card on file to charge without prior authorization. All massages were really good and relaxing except once I had a male therapist and he seemed as though he was uncomfortable actually doing the massage for some reason, but every other time whether it was a massage, facial, or stretch they were pretty good

Cindy does a wonderful job. She works with you one on one by recommending products that help with the facials she does. She is very kind and does amazing facials. I first went there and had a lot to work on my face and now it cleared up a lot. So if your looking for a place to go I recommend massage envy.

Rosaisela was awesome! She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. She communicated very well. She also gave me a few pointers for my problem areas(muscles that are too tense). Overall she was great and would definitely recommend for a medium to deep massage! Thanks girl!! 😊

I received a massage by Ms.D. She was great! She felt for where the tense spots were and worked on those more. Very intuitive. I received a deep tissue and although at a bit sore (nothing too intense) and it was very bearable. I don’t like to talk during my sessions. I asked a question and she answered without going on and on and on. Awesome work!

First time here at Massage Envy. I received a transfer hour from a family member and put it to some use. This was actually my first ever professional massage and all I can say is I LOVED IT!! I loved how Victor gave me a tour of the rooms and explained to me pretty much everything down to the details. He was very informative and very welcoming. And it couldn’t get any better until Cassandra (my massage therapist) was so gentle but yet firm with the massage, and I loved that! I was honestly scared to get a massage therapist that would torture me since like I mentioned before, it was the very first time I received a professional massage. Cassandra was amazing. Will be coming back soon for my next massage and I highly recommend this place!

I visited the Atoscocita location on 1-29. The staff was very welcoming and upbeat. Shannon was my therapist and she was amazing! She targeted exactly what I needed done and I left very relaxed. I would highly recommend this location and Shannon!

The front office staff are always warm and welcoming. Rosaisela is AMAZING! I highly recommend her. Everytime I have issues with my back or pulled muscles she fixes it! My lower back pain has decreased since seeing her. Truly amazing!

I always try to work MY schedule around Misty’s! Finding the right therapist is really important to me. Not only is their technique a major factor, but I need to match personalities as well. Misty and I click!! Fir a medium to deep tissue massage, I highly recommended her! Also… this location in Humble/Atascocita is super friendly and efficient!

Misty is a magician! I hold all my tension in my neck and shoulders and she is the first massage therapist that has been able to get rid of knots. She is also friendly and kind! I enjoy each session with her!

Cindy is highly trained and skilled in her area of expertise. Her technique is relaxing and therapeutic. Prior to working at massage envy, she worked in a medical med spa, which gives her insight and experience many estheticians are lacking. Overall excellent experience! Thank You Cindy!

Shannon was polite and made me feel very comfortable. She asked me what I needed and we focused on those areas. I’ve already booked another session with her and I can’t wait!

I used to frequent this location regularly but the turnover rate was pretty high. As soon as I found someone I liked they were no longer there. I go to 43rd and Ella now. I recently tried to schedule an appointment for my wife and I and was put on a 15 minute hold or hung up on. May never go back

Staff and atmosphere has been great. I’ve been having issues with my shoulder and muscles in my arm. Rosa really focused attention in this area and did an AMAZINGLY AWESOME JOB!! My arm feels soo much better. I really appreciate her taking time to work on it. THANK YOU ROSA 💐 and thanks staff.

Michael is amazing. I have stress and pain in my neck and shoulders. He will focus on my neck when required and it’s life changing. I highly recommend micheal and massage envy Atascocita.Edited 6/13/2022: I’ve been getting my massages and facials here for 2 years. They are great. From the front desk all the way through every session I have a wonderful experience. I started getting stretches with Anthony recently. Those are also very helpful.I had another excellent session with Michael yesterday. He was awesome as usual.

Micheal always does a fantastic job! It’s hard to find a person to actually do firm/deep pressure and he always does a great job! I’m only giving four stars because Massage Envy had policies that are super irritating. They will call you multiple times in a week trying to get you to use your credit. To the point that I had to take my number out of their system. It’s so much easier to just schedule it on the app. Same if your payment card expires or doesn’t go through, they will attempt to run it every day and harass you over the phone.

First time at this particular location, I had an amazing experience with Dawn! She was polite and made me feel relaxed. I will definitely book Dawn for my future appointments!

Ive had numerous massages before and Eva definitely gave me one of, if not the best massage that I have ever gotten. I definitely recommend Eva. You will not be disappointed. Shes very knowledgeable and experienced.

I’ve been a member since 2008. Hated to leave the Galleria location and my massage therapist, Kim . But since my move, I have found a new massage home at the Atascocita location. Friendly and courteous staff. I tried out several therapists. They were all great. I’ve seen Charles (Chaz) for my last several sessions and he definitely has been working wonders with my spine & overall muscle aches and pains! He always asks about my pain before he begins, during and after the session. Total communication!

I made an appointment for a couples massage. One of the therapists ran late with another client and as a result cut our session short, even though we were assured it wouldn’t be by the front desk. To make matters worse they tried to have us schedule another appointment and up sale their products/services.

Cindy is very knowledgeable about the facials and products specifically tailored to meet my needs. She is also very professional. I trust in her advice. I am enjoying my skin toning journey with her.

I have been going to get my massages at Massage Envy since April. Christi is absolutely the best when it comes to deep tissue massages. She identifies your problem areas (and I have a lot) and massages them with artistry and skillfulness. But even more importantly, she periodically ask you about your comfort level and responds appropriately. Always courteous and caring.

The message went well. She did a great job but I don’t like how the business is run. I signed up on line for $60 and when I confirmed appointment time, it changed to $120. I thought I hit a button wrong but this was actual charge. If I joined, then it would be less but was a program hard to get out of.

I did not book a massage at his location. After receiving a notification of a charge for a massage, I called and was told another person with same name booked one. I was told that the problem would be fixed in the system and notes were added to inform another receptionist to double check in the future. I will follow up with my local ME to ensure no future charges will be made on my account.

Ive been coming for about 6 months now and never had a problem getting an appointment. The therapists are professional and most do a great job. Ive had a mediocre massage now and then, but I was too shy to ask them to increase the pressure, so Id say it was mostly my fault. During my pregnancy theyve done a wonderful job keeping back pain at bay!

The massage was great, however, I had a gift card from my children that I could not wait to use, only to find out someone stole the numbers off of the gift card and used it. This was very sad and disturbing since a Massage Envy employee probably was stealing the info from cards. My children were devastated because of had to pay for the massage. You need a better system for tracking gift cards. The lady at the counter smiled and said sorry and treated me like I was the thief. I will never go back.

Being my first time I love it and will be going back . All staff is helpful and attentive to your needs and wants. My masseuse- Rosaisela, did great. I explained my work atras and she did the job. I was so relaxed I almost dozed off for a bit. I felt awesome after. Thanks ladies.

Massage with Fatima was great. There was a slight mix up with another client’s appointment, whereby my appointment was bumped for as the other client has the same first name. Front desk was apologetic and accommodating so I called it good. I’ll be back.

Been a member with massage envy in the past and never really had a therapist who could just nail it to the T , well I’m giving massage envy another try and here at this location from day one the staff has been very polite and helpful , and too my therapist I chose “Chris” two words! The Bomb 💣 both times she nailed it with Deep Tissue massage, I have never known what it felt like to wake up without back pain well this morning I woke up without back pain!

I’ve never wrote a bad review on any business before but I am VERY VERY UPSET!!!!😡😡 I booked an appointment for 3:00pm toady get there just for them to tell me that the lady that booked my appointment was new and didn’t know the therapist she booked me with was not available! I literally struggled to find a babysitter to watch my baby, drove 30m to drop her off then 30m to Massage Envy and wait 40 minutes outside just for them to tell me that my therapist was not available, they told me to come back tomorrow and that they would give me a foot exfoliating treatment for the inconvenience I said no, I asked them to please waive my total for the inconvenience and they said no that they could only do $70!! Like what?!?! I literally wasted TIME, GAS, & MONEY because I had to pay a babysitter to watch my baby!! Very upset and disappointed, don’t really think I’ll be going back!😡

The staff was very pleasant. The young lady at the front desk was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Then Diona did the rest. She was able to relax the muscles that were tight.

Ms. Diona is very professional and very good at what she does. Not only does she relieve my body of stress and pain but she also informs me on how to take care of my body naturally! I highly recommend her 🙌🏽

I was in so much pain on my shoulders when I went in and when I left, I felt great. Kshondra did an amazing job, and was very professional. The staff in front was very friendly and helpful.

Micheal is great! All I have to do is tell him where to start. He works out the knots and relieve the tension. An hour just wont do for this body. I dont even waste my time. I need 1.5-2 hrs and its well spent.

Dawn has magic hands. I will never use anyone else. My own complaint is it’s loud in the hallways trying to relax and can’t sometimes. But my massages are that good I will continue to go every week

Kshondra is an awesome person and therapist. She is chatty when I need her to and quiet when I need it. I like talking and she is a very interesting person. I have enjoyed getting to know her some. And totally magic hands!!

Good deep tissue massage therapists have been hard for me to find over the years, Dee was absolutely one of the best that I’ve found. I highly recommend her if you are an athlete in need of deep tissue massages or if you just like firm pressure - she’s the one to ask for.

I paid for an hour massage and got maybe 40 min. I was scheduled for an appointment at 12, they were 10 minutes late to bring me back. The massage didnt even start until 12:15 then they ended at 12:55. What a rip off! Shouldve just paid for a 30 minute massage!!!

The front staff is always great and helpful! The facility is always clean with sanitizing products available for clients as well! My therapist follows my instructions well and that is always a plus!

Very friendly staff. My therapist Valarie was fantastic and very helpful with instructions on stretching techniques to use on a daily basis. I sit at a computer all day and my neck gets very tense.

My therapist was great but the facility did seem like it needed cleaned. There seemed to be a lot of trash on the floors. The chairs in the back holding area needed cleaning as well.

Would not recommend!! We reserved a massage and gave them a credit card to hold our spot and was told that if we did not show we would be charged anyway. Well we showed on time which takes us 40 minutes to get there and find out they canceled our appointment and did not call to let us know... Hum but I guess thats ok for them to do.. At least they did say I am sorry.

Michael has a deep understanding of the layers of muscles in the body. He has great techniques for working out knots and tight muscles in the lower back, hips and shoulders. He is a kind young man and an amazing therapist!

Kshondra did a fantastic job as always. She is very skilled. I have a newborn and my body is a mess. But I always leave feeling better.

Great session with my therapist. I asked for deep tissue and thats what I got. I even had to ask her to ease up a bit and Ive never done that before. I will be returning for another soon.

Absolutely the worst membership Ive ever agreed to. Never any openings, high turnover rate on therapists. Do not buy into the membership. Pay as you go, if anything. I am now 9 massages to my credit, but I cant ever get in. If I cancel, I lose all of them. I cant give them as a gift to anyone, even though Ive already paid for them. Just a bad experience all the way around.

Dont bother coming here if you want a good massage. If you want to be poked at for an hour and a half, then this is the place. He spent more time on my arm pit than any of my body. Spent $150 and even told the manager how bad it was. Still charged, no credit, no nothing... Other than Im sorry and Ill speak to him. HORRIBLE!!!!

Chris as usual gave me an awesome massage. She always greets you with a smile and is very pleasant. The front desk staff were very professional.

Paid 126 for two deep tissue massages neither massage therapist asked how the pressure was.Both my boyfriend and I asked for more pressure and neither applied more pressure. They only massaged for 45 min not the full 60. I am not impressed at all they did not use any sented oils and the gel they used was terrible. Worst money I have ever spent my 4 year old could have done a better job.

Great experience as always. Eva is wonderful and front desk staff as well. Never had anything to complain about but if I did I would call them directly it’s the decent thing to do. Love this location and services offered. Highly recommend

Chaz was awesome. He is a great communicator and made me feel as though he was not simply completing a job, but more like helping a friend. Chaz gave me lots of helpful information and I left feeling refreshed and calm.

Massages are ok but try to cancel the contract and their procedures are terrible. One must go there in person to cancel, so my pregnant wife had to drive there and explain how she no longer wishes to get massages while she is pregnant and we are moving so please cancel. Their response was to ask for our new address....and the tone and insistance was ridiculous. Well lady we dont have a new address yet...work is moving me and will get me a home soon....and frankly what difference does it make....so get of our back.Next we get the excuse that the manager is not around so they cant cancel....who cares!!! My wife signed the required document and explained that she showed up as requested and cancelled so there should not be a charge for the following month. What do I see today on my credit card?? A charge from them of course. Perhaps if they treated their clients better we would have considered rejoining if we return to this area...but not now.

My masseuse is a total Rock Star !! I almost posted her name but its already hard enough to get an appointment !! I love her and allll the staff at the Atascocita location !!

Everyone was very professional.. Attendant greeted me as soon as I walked in the door… An the massage therapist Fatima asked and worked on my very needed areas including the rest of my body.. I would recommend Massage Envy!!

Wannna ruin a good bday surprise? Book a couples massage with these idiots. They will call your spouse to confirm the appointment.... not you, the one who made the appointment. And they dont care bc its policy to just choose a number to call... yet their policy magically changed several times while on the phone with them. Oh and they dont really care about loosing customers either. Ill never go back. Taking my business elsewhere.

My mom and I have had memberships here for a long time! The front desk staff is really kind and tries to accommodate your needs and fit you to the right therapist. And it’s really clean!

Have always had a great experience here and have great masseuse. Ive been going to Massage Envy for 2 years and have never had a bad experience. I have been going to Massage Envy for 2 to 3 years and I have always had a real good experience with who every I get for Massage and facials.

Alana was amazing. She applied the right amount of pressure and I will be going back to her.

They DO NOT allow u to cancel when u ask. All they do is refer u to multiple people and keep u running around. They say they have reps who are properly trained but they want to make sales so badly that the reps lie to u to get u trapped in a contract The managers do NOT have any empathy in regards to financial situations. Basically just get the massage and LEAVE!!! U HAVE BEEN WARNED

OMG! I am livid! So I had a membership at Massage Envy - Atascocita that I canceled at the beginning of the year (when you have a membership they bill you monthly for massages and you can accumulate them if not used) However, when you cancel your membership they EXPIRE! They are not coupons or free offers. They are massages YOU have PAID for! I tried to make an appointment today (March 6). They informed me my credit expired on March 4!Terrible business practices. They will lose more than 59.00 from me and my friends at this point. No more Christmas Gift cards folks!

Ms. D is amazing for deep tissue work to release the knotted areas, and she has great suggestions for stretches and work to do at home between sessions.

Juan is very thorough. The 1 1/2 hr hot stone session is delightful. As well as the 1hr. They both help my poor circulation. I respect their work.

This place has the best environment! The therapists really care, and the front desk is so so helpful. Very clean and organized, and a great place to relax.

Massage therapist was wonderful. However cleanliness of facility and environment outside around facility was horrible. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

A negative is the restrooms. Although they are fairly clean, there is no place to hang a purse and the toilet tissue is extremely thin and rough!

Fatima is AWESOME, she always ask if I’m good, the pressure good etc and offer suggestions based on what I tell her I need .

There are never any available appointments, when they did finally have an opening the girl took forever to find my name then told me the time that was available had been booked while she was searching for my name...then she offered to schedule for another day....

Recently had what was supposed to be a 50 min massage, it only ended up being 35 mins plus the therapist Maribel was extremely rude, making very unprofessional comments...(I regret leaving her even a small tip) When I advised checkout personnel of my reduced time, all they did was give me a paper card for aroma therapy...Since I will not be going back there, the aroma therapy is of no use to me!..Also do not like their high-pressure tactics for trying to get you to buy a membership package, which after reading some of the thousands of negative reviews, as well as the many class-action lawsuits brought against Massage Envy, I am glad I declined!...Read the reviews before you give them any money!...

Cindy did my facial and I couldnt enjoy it. She kept on about buying they products before, during and after the facial. I couldnt enjoy it.
