I went with the King’s Choice from their website.Amy was great with the massage and worked on a problem area on my arm I told her before we started.Took a few moments to get the massage booked but once it was, it was pretty much smooth sailing from there.

Great massage experience, relaxing atmosphere, and friendly staff. The masseuse listened to me and was able to address problem areas. Will be coming back 5 stars! My masseuse was Sarah would recommend her.

I do not recommend. Not 100 percent customer friendly. Matter of fact they seem kinda of hostile. So she might try to hurt you by digging fingers or elbows into you.

Do not come to this joke of a parlor. They cannot massage. They offer select services and then slap cold oil on you and rub it in circles. They took appointments all the while knowing their roof was being replaced. I lay down and after constant banging I stopped it half way through. This is not even close to a legit service. Gross

I had moderate hopes about going here after reading the comments about this place and my doubts proved to be correct. I think the language barrier played a huge role in my experience but there was also just outright rudeness.To start, a lady did welcome me in and asked me how long did I want my massage to be. She suggested a 60 minute and I agreed. She immediately says “ok that’s $80. You have cash?” I don’t mind paying upfront but I feel like services like massages should be paid afterwards. I told her I had card and she lets me know as she’s swiping that there’s an additional $8 fee for paying with card. Her phone was not connected to the internet so the transaction didn’t go through. I let her know the only reason it didn’t go through is because of her service, which was displayed as the reason the transaction didn’t go through. She tells me “ok, no, no, no. No massage unless you have cash.” I told her ok, don’t worry about it. I’m very disappointed with the attitude of the staff overall. I would not recommend.

Its ok prices are pretty elevated massage wasnt bad but meh

The Massage was actually very good.The reason I am giving one star is because of the deception when it came to the tip.The Lady insisted I tipped $40, I said Id do $25. She persisted and I said its either $25 or nothing. She took care of the entire transition on her personal cell phone so I wasnt able to see what she was doing.I then looked at my credit card statement and saw she went and charged over $40 despite my refusal for that amount.Its too bad that I had to report this business to my credit card company. I thought the service was good but they have now lost a customer because of this.If you do go dont allow them to bully you into tipping more than you agree to. Look at your credit card statement right away.Response to last comment:I didnt expect any extra services you charged me for a Tip that was over the amount I authorized, my credit card company removed the entire tip, youll only be getting paid for the massage, nothing more.

No. I booked a 90 minute massage. I had been on the road the last two days and needed the work. When I got there, the lady told me that she was too busy for a 90 minute massage and I can only get a 60 minute massage. The 60 minute massage was very expensive, so I am guessing that was the issue. 80.00 for a mediocre 60 minute massage. Mediocre because my body needs more time. The 90 minute massage that I booked was 90.00. Scam? She said that she was good and would make it worth it, so I took a shot. But, I knew my body was needing a 90 minute massage. These are the reasons for my low score. To top it off, when my massage was done, there was no one waiting or entering the building. That is what confirmed my suspicions of a scam of the 90 minute massage. I was disappointed through the whole thing. That was my fault, however. I knew I wasn’t going to get the massage I was needing. But the horrible taste in my mouth when there was, obviously, time to get me what I was needing. Now I will be dishing out more money just to get the work I need from another place. Unfortunately, it leaves me apprehensive of any other place in the the Kansas City area.

Booked a couples massage for my birthday. I was worried about not being able to relax being in the same room as my husband, but they put us in separate rooms and it was great. The hot stone massage was fantastic. Will be returning often.

Pros: Place was clean and comfortable looking inside. Rooms are private and tables are wide. Free hot stones added to my massage.Cons: I booked 90 mins online and received confirmation, but when I got there they said they could only do 60 minutes. They added free hot stones to make up for it. The massage was okay, but it didnt address any of my problems areas so I left feeling exactly the same. The lady doing my massage had to take a phone call during the massage as well as answer the door. She didnt close the door all the way when she left the room for various reasons. It felt like she was gone for long periods of time sometimes. Also, the massage was not 60 minutes, it was about 55, including the times she left the room.I was very disappointed with the whole experience. I get massages every month or so due to chronic pain, this place is closer to me but not worth it.

Definitely don’t recommend this place at all! This was my first massage ever too! At first I thought maybe she’s dealing with life we all have one outside of work, but no. She proceeded to texting during my whole entire session as well as answered a call. Hearing the clicking an clacking of texting during something that’s suppose to be “relaxing” was absolutely cringe! Nothing was ever switched up to actually relax me. I should have spoke on how I felt but that’s what we have reviews for.

I do physical labor and this place is a life saver! I come here nearly every week and feel great after for several days. My favorite masseuse is Julie. She’s here everyday but Sunday. Owner is nice and the place is 100% professional. They know me by name tell them Jeff referred you!

The hot stone massage was great. I requested and paid for the queen package which should have included a 30 minute foot soak and massage. Felt rushed to leave. Pretty sure they were more interested in getting the two walk-ins into a room that came in after I was in my room. Could hear everything going on in the lobby and frankly the street noise was just as annoying as the lady asking me if it felt good every five minutes. Next time I need a massage I will spend the extra money for a high-end day spa that will actually provide all the services I paid for in a truly quiet soothing environment.

Dont let the location scare you off- the outside of the building is old looking, but inside looks and feels like every other massage place I have been too. Anna gave me a great 30 min massage and the price was right. Very relaxing and calming, if I had more time I would have done an hour. Also one of the few places that will hold an appointment online without requiring a credit card to hold it. I will be going back for sure!

12.30.22Booked a a couples massage 2 weeks ago just to get told when we arrived that they were short staffed and could only do one at a time. She looked confused even after I showed her the email conformation. They request an hour notice before canceling or rescheduling any apts but why didnt anyone call me? A waste of my time and gas.

My 1st appointment was with Amy & had a deep tissue massage with hot stones. She was amazing! I tried back walking for the 1st time & I also enjoyed it. The atmosphere & music was relaxing. Thank you Amy. I will see you again soon. 🤗

Clean atmosphere. Relaxing music. Love the warm table and the wipe down afterwards. My first visit was a couple of months ago. The massage was ok but I did get slick-talked into an extra 30 minute charge. I accepted because my back and shoulder pain was severe and I was hoping that she would give attention to that, but she didn’t. Due to the language barrier, Amy didn’t communicate with me prior to ask of my issues.I went back today (1/26/2021) because of proximity to my job and again was suffering from a back issue and had a much better experience. Amy did a wonderful job. I did one hour and added hot stones. She found the knots in my back and she worked on it in addition to my whole body. And although there is a language barrier, I believe, because she remembered me, she was more comfortable to talk afterwards. She even put some cream on my back to help with pain. Thank you Amy! First time getting a stone massage, and the whole massage was EXCELLENT. Best place I have ever been. Their prices are reasonable, and they make sure you are comfortable. This is not a place to go if you’re modest, but they are still VERY respectful. Don’t let the outside of the building fool you, it is very nice and clean on the inside.

I almost never leave reviews that arent positive, but I want to give a heads up to anyone reading that this place is not as fantastic as other reviews may indicate. The staff and location are nice enough, but when I tried to explain my back pain to the staff, they didnt seem to pay much interest to me. This may be because the staff when I went spoke very little English. I have no issues with this but when trying to explain trigger points that cause me pain, or when trying to explain that the hot stones are too hot, the language barrier negatively affects the experience.I repeatedly asked for my massage to be focused on my upper back, but wound up having a great deal of time spent on my legs, arms, and chest. While I understand the benefits of the full body massage, it’s not what I was looking for. But the language barrier prevented me from explaining my needs, so my inflamed and aching trigger points went largely untouched.The masseuse laughed at my bare butt a couple times. I did not mind but it struck me that someone else might.It was a decent full body massage. Nothing to write home about and not what I wanted, so the 90 dollar charge stung more than it would have if I had my needs addressed. To make matters worse, as I was leaving, the woman masseuse physically blocked the door to ask for a tip. (Another thing that did not bother me, a tall 31 year old man, but might bother someone else.) As she asked for the tip, she got inpatient with my difficulty understanding her and she pointed to a chart with a tip scale: 10 for okay / 20 for good / 30 for exceptional. In my mind, it was a 10, but Ive waited tables and lived off tips before so I tend to try and be generous with tipping. I handed her 20 dollars cash out of my wallet and asked, Good? She replied, I dont know... and urgently pointed to the 30 for exceptional tip tier. This was not an exceptional massage. She was asking for another ten dollars.This was barely a good massage. It was solidly an okay massage, for several completely valid reasons. I told the masseuse, I dont have anymore money. Her response was to laugh and playfully strike me in the chest, a third instance of something that did not really phase me but might bother another patron.It was an okay full-body massage, despite asking that it be focused on my upper back and inflamed trigger points. I just wound up going back home and rubbing my aching back up against the corner of the kitchen cabinets, in keeping with nightly tradition.If you just need to relax with a decent full-body massage and are willing to tip 30 dollars on a 90 dollar expenditure, this might be for you. It wasnt for me. Wont be going back.

My first visit since the virus thingy. Some new stuff...instead of $60 it is now $79. And since they do not do face to face...you only get face down massage. Massage was good. But once she came across a knot in my calf, she just kept going after it. I thought she was going to blow my entire hour on it. Now that I know about no face up, I understand why she was focused on the knot. I scored 3 out of 5 due to the upgrade in cost for 1/2 the body coverage.

Not a good massage. I asked for stronger pressure but the girl just laughed. She also did not keep the door shut for my privacy. I wasnt dressed or covered. This made me very uncomfortable since the were customers waiting in the lobby. After the massage I was HOUNDED to give a 5-star review. Nope.

Went for a 60 minute massage today and it was great. The business appeared to clean and professional. I left feeling a bit beat up bit I feel great and rejuvenated now.Ping was smiling the entire time, seemed humble and did a great job gauging how hard she needed to do the massage.I would say my only complaint would be hearing other customers being vocal (moaning in pain, sniffling ect) and hearing the people through the walls in the businesses on either side of this one.There is also a top scale they use, which I dont like. Good=$10, Grear =$20 and ????= $30. Id rather tip the amount I feel appropriate.Thank you for the massage, Ill definitely be back.

Was cheated out of 15min. Was demanded a tip for weak massage that i was cheated out of. Would never go back. They could use a deep cleansing aswell. They over charged my card. 1hr for 79 but i was charged 85?? Guess she gave herself a tip at my expense?? Thats stealing!!

This is a two-part review:1. The massage was fantastic! She (name?) followed my instruction about NOT wanting a deep tissue massage to the T. This was one of my biggest concerns but it was alleviated, and then some! I felt relaxed to the point of just wanting to sleep.2. This is my reason for a one-star rating: She begged for a tip! I was prepared to be asked ahead of time for a tip due to reading the reviews. However, for her to almost follow me to my car pleading, Sir? Sir? just puts this encounter into a category of unprofessionalism that I cant get past. Did she deserve a tip? Although thats not the point (and I DID tip her), I remain unconvinced that a tip is mandatory or necesary or should even be expected. (My child care provider does the most significant service for me 5 days per week and I dont tip her...) But when you have someone trying to shame you into tipping; holding the door open & watching to see if I would return with a tip in addition to pleading for it prior; thats when I have to draw the line and take my business elsewhere.*Note: Its a true shame as this massage place is within blocks of my house. I also wonder if these ladies are being paid appropriately. $60 an hour for the service prior to the tip should be enough to pay a decent wage...

I had a 90-minute massage with Ryan. The table was heated by some magic and I have never had a better massage. I like a lot of heavy pressure and deep tissue work and Ryan certainly delivered! Im used to a bit of pain the next day but experienced absolutely zero pain. Highly, highly recommended and I cant wait to go back!

Pleased with the half hour. Next time full hour with stones. At least I was pleased until I saw my bank statement where I was charged $59 instead of the listed $45.

It was a decent massage, but dont come here if your modest and want to stay covered. Plus they asked for a tip. I tip anyways when I get a massage but I dont lime that they asked for one. That was unprofessional. I will most likely not be back again.

I had some tight back muscles so I decided to try Royal massage. I was seen by my masseuse, Lucy and she was wonderful. I just got home and noticed that my back was no longer hurting. I recommend Royal massage. Ask for Lucy, very talented!

I am a licensed massage therapist. It was clear to me that my therapist had no formal educational training.PROS: She was able to maintain the pressure I wanted and worked on the spots I showed her. NOTE: I had to show her the amount of pressure because she didnt speak English.CONS: MY private parts were exposed nearly the entire session.There was no intake form to assess contra indications.She tried to use hot stone on me even though Im 7 months pregnant and she knew that and hot stone is a contraindication for a pregnancy.Her manager heard me trying to explain this to her and entered the Room without notice because she couldnt understand english.After the massage she followed me to my car and demanded that I get tip her. she would not leave my car until I gave her cash.

Good massage, but I feel as if they scammed me. My husband and I went for a couples massage and everything was good until they said your husband wants 30 more minutes and since we are not in the same room I agreed but come to find out my husband didnt say it first they told him that i wanted it. That was very dishonest.

Ryan is my therapist he does an awesome job at finding my sore spots and helping me work them out during a session. Very good at adjusting pressure and listening to my needs during the session. Is a very laid back personable therapist.

We booked a couples massage online ahead of time. When we got there they said they could only do 1 person at a time. We didnt do it since we wanted a couples massage. The website shouldnt advertise couples massage if their facility doesnt accommodate for it.

My boyfriend purchased a Groupon for a one-hour couples massage with Cai-Bei and hot stone. The massage was great and the staff was very welcoming, although it was my first time so I have nothing to compare it to. It did seem odd that the couples massage was not in the same room. After the massage, we talked about our experiences and it seemed like we went to completely different places! I did not receive Cai-Bei or hot stone...which I was not aware I was supposed to receive since I did not buy the Groupon. Very odd, so I would recommend clarifying what treatment you are receiving before beginning your massage.

Then was asked how long i wanted. told her 30 mins. she replied $40. then said 1 hour is $60. i said ok lets do an hour. she then said pay now. how much tip? i said i dont know, 10 dollars. she said no, $20. i have never been told what to tip from a place before. I grabbed my card back from her and walked out. This place is a joke and never go there.Response : No need for an apology, but please dont make it seem like I misunderstood her. Trust me she was not welcoming me for being there at 10 am. AND she did tell me my tip of my choice was insufficient.

My birthday Dec 11 had a massage and after paying 63 bucks for her services she ask me for a tip..very unprofessional. My question for people and tips..1. Do you go to a drive thru pay for your meal then give a tip.2. Do you go to a car wash pay to wash your car then give a tip.3. Do you go to a grocery store pay for items at the cashier and give a tip.Shall I expect to get a tip from my employers when I am being paid to do a job.In my opinion TIPS are optional, which means if you see the service is suburb and you want to graciously give a token to show your appreciation for their service then do so. We all get paid for a job we perform..I pay to eat at a restaurant the food isnt free..It is on us as individuals to go work for a company that services. Human kind should not be obligated to give a tip period. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

Paid for an hour massage, she rubbed the same for spots on my back and legs for the whole time and tried to get me to buy another half hour. Leg was messed up for a week after the session. I would not suggest this place.

Massage tech was stopping massage to barf. They booked us for couples massage then separated us. They weren’t even massage they were rubbing on our body’s very weird and uncomfortable terrible experience would not recommend.

Much different style than typical swedish, but still very good, firm pressure. Personally I prefer more traditional massage, but place was clean, warm, lotion was warm.
