Antonio is professional, kind, FUN, and easy to work with! He puts a lot of effort into getting to know his engaged couple’s story in order to truly personalize their first dance choreography. Antonio is patient, personable, and really listens to his clients. He’s truly passionate about sharing his love of dance with others. If he can teach me… he can teach ANYONE! 10/10 would recommend this guy.

Antonio is a phenomenal instructor!! SO. MUCH. FUN! My husband surprised me with dance lessons with Antonio and he couldn’t have picked a better person to show us the ropes. We laughed so much, learned the basics of 3 different styles of dance and felt at ease and comfortable the entire time. Antonio is patient and your best hype man. Antonio is an excellent dance instructor ! My dance partner and I came to Antonio looking for help with lifts and tricks . I was very nervous as someone who has never been confident with lifts in dance . Antonio and his partner were both extremely knowledgeable about body mechanics, how to break down complex topics, and emphasized safety throughout our entire session. I felt very at ease for the entirety of the session. Not only did I feel comfortable with the lifts, but it was such a FUN session! The time flew by! Antonio and his partner knew how to keep the lesson fun and light hearted while learning lifts! I would recommend Antonio to anyone who needs help with learning tricks and lifts as well as dancing !

Listen guys! Antonio was sooo amazing. He really knows his stuff. I was a little timid when i arrived but immediately he made me feel comfortable. The dance moves he taught he explained well. Professional and yet so fun Antonio’s dance lessons were unforgettable. He thought of everything, even drinks were provided! He made it fun and made it feel like we were doing well, even for beginners. He made sure to break every dance down to simple, easy to follow steps. He knows so many different dances and made them easy to learn! We even got videos taken so we could continue to learn from home. He was so kind through the whole lesson. I appreciate that Antonio sent us videos of us dancing for us to refer back to so that we could practice outside of class. It’s also helpful that he would review our previous lesson each time so we could ask questions before we moved on to new steps. Antonio was an amazing teacher. My girlfriend and I have never done any type of dance outside of going out on a Saturday night. We were expecting to feel awkward And slightly embarrassed, but Antonios teaching style had us fully comfortable through the lesson. 4 years ago when Antonio was in St Petersburg/Tampa area I met him at an East Coast/Lindy Hop dance… When I told him he was such a good dancer he said that he is an instructor. I asked him that it was on my bucket list that I was 62 years old and then intermediate East Coast answer but I would love to learn show me some lifts, just like dancing with the stars… I am an athletic person and has a background in gymnastics, and always thought I could do some of that.. so he explained in the private lesson what the lift entailed and then I decided whether I thought I could do it… only one that I was too nervous to try was one that I would be balance angel styl on his shoulder. He is young enough, strong enough and tall to be able to teach me… He is such a kind warm and encouraging, young man and instructor.. A fellow Christian… so once we practiced the maneuver he permitted me to videotape it. So I still like to show those videos to some of my dance friends… He taught me other dances that I was not as familiar with such as Argentine tango and West Coast swing… and I did appreciate learning a few advanced moves in those dances also.

The moment you walk in the door Antonio makes you feel welcome and helps you to get rid of the nerves and kind of addresses the awkwardness. I came with my with for an intro lesson and we omg did we enjoy it. We laughed, had a great time and learned some new moves that I’m excited to practice.

What a blessing it has been to work with Antonio Frías as our choreographer for three theatrical productions since 2021. When I took over the Theater Department at Trinity Christian Academy in 2021, I wanted to expand the theatrical season from one annual production to two, and I wanted both a fall play and a spring musical. But I needed a choreographer with a specific skill set, a growth mindset and who could also establish a great rapport with school students. A fellow teacher recommended Antonio to me, and he has been the perfect fit to our program. He dreams big, but he also adapts choreo to fit the various skills of our 5th through 12th grade student casts. He holds the students up to a high standard and helps them to polish each dance move, but he is also their biggest cheerleader and encourages them continually. He has also developed two other students as dance captains to assist with rehearsals. One of these dance captains assisted in choreographing Tevyes Dream for the musical production of Fiddler on the Roof (March 2021), and in May 2023, he choreographed a polka couples dance for the senior show of Little Women. Mr. Frías not only creates the choreography and teaches it, but he also teaches the actors how to express emotion and act their character roles through the choreography. I love how we collaborate together and how we bounce ideas back and forth (character analysis, set design needs, props, costumes, timing, etc.) and he dreams just as big as I do to help these students be authentic in their performances as they learn to also do everything with excellence! Mr. Frías is a master of his craft. He loves challenges and takes the time to learn, polish, create, adapt, and teach the art of dancing to others! It is a joy to see the student grow in self-confidence and skill. This years musical of Alice @ Wonderland had the largest cast and the most musical dance numbers (14) in the history of TCAs theatrical productions. Mr. Frías choreographed and taught the leads and the ensemble choreo. Theater is truly collaborative, but this recent musical was truly a work of art made extra special by the beautifully executed choreography. I cannot recommend Mr. Frías enough; you can trust him to help you personally or to help your group or organization. Thank you, Antonio for your collaboration, creative spirit, and professionalism. You have also become a great friend, and a blessing to me and hundreds of students at Trinity Christian Academy.

When I was a little girl and away from eyes view, Id put on my leotard and dance around for hours... Of course, in my fairy tale world, I was flawless, as every little girl believes when she dances... So with the greatest of honor, what a privilege it was to watch my daughter dance a Cortillian Waltz choreographed specifically for her Quinceanera by, Antonio Frias. And, when I found the perfect song for our mother-daughter dance, I asked Antonio if he could give us a dance that had lots of twirls, as we like to do. His immediate response was a confident, I already have ideas😃... my daughters day was ever most magical... I now have been encouraged to continue my dancing (minus the leotard 😆) And, this weeks ballroom favorite, aside from Salsa, was the Venetian Waltz... it feels like opening up a ballerina music box, but Im the twirling dancer that keeps spinning.
