I went to see Chris Renzema back in May and it was such a great time - kind workers and all good vibes!

The Micah Tyler concert was beyond belief! He was an amazing performer. I will be watching the schedule so that I can attend again. Wonderful atmosphere!!!!!

Loved the testimony from the owner! Enjoyed the variety of drunks, candy and food the snack area. VIP seating was comfy and diverse with tables for seating and even a leather sofa.Its an older building so I understand the staircase leading to the restroom may not be the best for the handicapped, but I claim financial support will. pour in to fund the upgrades this ministry needs!The sound system was NICE!Even when I exited my car, sound check sounded good from outside!I was there to interview K-Drama for my radio show. my plan was to leave after the interviews but the volunteers hoffered such an inviting atmosphere I stayed until the end of the show.Thanks Murray Hill Theater!

Ive been to the Murray Hill Theater twice now. I saw Stryper in 2003, and I just saw Petra this evening. I had great experiences at both concerts. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the concert experience is superb. I highly recommend going to the Murray Hill Theater to see a concert!

I attended the swing dance at Murray Hill Theater tonight and I had a blast. My first time here. Free swing dance lessons to start the night was a good way to start the dance and meet people!! Great music selection and fun dancing!! Would definitely come back!!!

This place is a gem! Always a wonderful atmosphere. I love to go here on date nights with my husband. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We saw Petra 50th tour! Amazing rock and praise ! This place is outstanding for Christian music groups! Highly recommended! Support Murray Hill and what they bring to the community! Add them to your favorites as they have something going on all the time!

Went to a comedy show here it was decent enough. I think they need to do a little updating and their concessions are garbage. All in all i like the venue aside from the concession situation. Ill be back.

A great experience. Lived here 51 years and had never been. We will be returning for future events.

Amazing location to go see Christian music artists perform live. I took my youth group to go see a concert there and we will definitely be back for many more.

First time visit and got to see one of my all time favorite bands. Most awesome! Wish I had earplugs because it was loud. People were friendly.

Loved the sound inside for the concert. The building is so amazing, they kept it looking original from when it was built years ago, but still clean and in great shape.

I had a great time here. Get here early if you aren’t familiar with the area. The parking lot is small and fills up fast. There is plenty of free street parking, but it’s not the best area, so you’ll want to arrive early to be closer to the venue.

The venue is really cool. I just wish i had known about the no alcohol thing before.

It is a reasonably priced venue with nice events that are family friendly.

What a great venue! We bought tickets to see our favorite comedian (Henry Cho) and loved hearing the history of this theatre.

We went to the Vagabond Flea Market at the Murray Hill Theater to support our friends The Sprinkle Ladies. Lots of fun vendors at the market and for that reason we will be back. I was especially stoked that cider from Conagree and Penn was available. I also saw GWAR at Murray Hill Theater years ago and it was an awesome show!

Always a fun time supporting a great business owner and venue. I wish floors were a little bit more slick for dancing but I love the lighting, and that they play a requested song during swing dance nights. Group lessons prior are always given by warm and friendly people.

Only came by for Inner sanctum. Had a great experience, baby learned how to headbang. Will go again

Great venue! I love the location the area has a very cool vibe . The interior is very dark and It is run by volunteers.. Great place for local bands as well as touring bands. Our son is a guitarist and lead singer in Kicking dandelions and they play their occasionally. . All ages go to, the shows. iReally wonderful club withthe goal of reaching out to youth and adults in the community! Cool pkace!

Neat place in Jax. We attended a concert there and really like the old theatre vibe. Really cool!

Was a great place to hear some great new bands. Only downside was the snack bar. Very limited, but it was not over priced.

We went to the Toby Nwigwe show there last night, it was my first time going to this theater but it wont be my last. This is a live music venue, and it is something they do well. The mixing was well done, not too loud or too soft, no horrible echos. The bathrooms are very small, but they are very clean. It is a family friendly location as they dont serve alcohol, but they have a snack bar for cold beverages and chips and simple sandwich options. I dont believe that there was a handicap bathroom option, but the rest of the venue was handicap accessible.

Small, intimate music venue. I’ve been to several concerts here. I love the fact that due to the small venue size it’s not uncommon for the performers to come down and do meet & greets after the shows!

Best place to view live bands in Jacksonville

This venue is always kept so clean, they dont serve beer so there arent a lot of drunk guys there to make your experience uncomfortable, also there are almost always great shows going on there for all tastes. Whether you like rap, pop, or if you are like me and you love rock, this is the place to go.

This hall is very good for parties it has excellent lights and I enjoyed it

I didnt sign up for 20 minutes of self-indulgent ravings from the owner on tragedy and suicide and alcoholism and Christianity in the middle of the concert.

This place needs a pick-me-up. Ive been going to shows here since 2005 and the sound is usually mixed really well. The last show I went to was dirty, the mix was muddy, and the restrooms upstairs were in pretty terrible shape. Lets bring this place back to its glory days.

First time here. Great sound!! And my wife had recent surgery so they reserved us a seat with a view. Nice folks!!

Our favorite local venue for good family fun. Whether for a Christian concert or movie the place is perfect. A local treasure that has stayed to its core values of a smoke free, alcohol free venue for a good time.

Great venue that gets lesser known acts at super cheap prices. Its always all ages and they have snacks and drinks for sale but no alcohol. The building could use some refurbishment but its still got charm. Check em out!

Nice place for Christian music

Murray Hill Theatre is a great place to see great bands at a lower cost, with the enjoyment of a regular concert. At a Christian venue with no alcohol, it is a safe place for teens and adults alike to enjoy all different genres of music and entertainment.

Amazing venue! Intimate setting with out a bad spot in the house!! One of the best Stryper concerts ive been too

Went there for the first time for the Hulvey concert and it was awesome.

I was excited to attend the Vagabond flea market. I was sorry to see that there was no light to enable the vendors to display their items more attractively. I have poor vision so it was a bust for me as I was unable to really see the items. I would suggest you bring a flashlight yes it is that dark inside there.

Always a delight to see a show here. Super friendly staff. Always great sound. MHT is a staple in the neighborhood and on of Jacksonvilles best venues to see a live show.

Def my favorite venue (space) in Duval. Historic, traditional venue aesthetic. Ive only been to 2 shows at Murray Hill within 13ish years of each other. It was just as I left it. Just as I remembered.

Incredible venue! MHT is THE historic venue of Jax. Would give 6 stars if beer was served. Altho, Vagabond coffee is attached to the venue and they sell great bottled/canned beers. (Not allowed inside Murray Hill theater)

I love this place. The atmosphere is always great. The only downside is parking but as long as you get there early and youre willing to stand in line youll be fine.

This is an absolute must see! So nostalgic! Check out their list of events for some amazing entertainment. Huge variety so there is something for everyone and the price is always affordable.

Awesome church meets there on Sun opens at 10am service at 11am called Highway to Heaven... laid back wear your jeans and t-shirt and get some coffee and a donut and meet and mingle.

This place is EXTREMELY outdated and smelled old. I love the history of the place but wish it could be preserved better.
