Love this store. The one in Richmond isnt so great. The workers were rude. And acted like they was better than us. We was going to buy some.stuff.but after they acted like that we walked out buying nothing. Richmond definitely needs to get new workers for sure. If they want my business again.

Walked in and was instantly recognized and she remembered what we purchased months ago. Feels nice to receive such personalized service.

I was greeted when I came through the door, as were the other people. I was allowed to browse peacefully and only approached when I paused to look at a case questions were answered quickly. And I just happen to have exactly what I was looking for

Purple Haze does indeed, have a lotta cool merchandise. But, I honestly thought most of the locally-made glass products were, unfortunately, just a little bit pricey (I know, right lol)... Although, I do feel its certainly worth a browsing visit for some, really unique products and accessories. 💯Also, in my own personal experience shopping here, the staff has been super knowledgeable, as well as very personable, and quite friendly too. So, definitely check it out for yourself, at your earliest convenience

2023 update: I still love going here. It doesnt take long to get items from cases, and there is a girl there that makes my day each time I visit. And me and my friends hope she is there whenever we head out. Shes fun and makes the place even more enjoyable. Thats not to say anything bad about other employees. They have all always been great, and when I have issues deciding between similar objects in a case, theyve never seemed upset. I apologize because I feel like I am inconveniencing them. But that feeling comes from who I am, because even before I do apologize, they dont act bothered and are trying to help me decide without me feeling rushed by them.Original review: I love getting a surprise grab bag! The employees are nice. The only downside is that just about everything is in a locked case so you have to get an employee and then they hold your items up front, also not all prices are visible until you get someone to open the case.

Tristan welcomed us in with open arms and an excellent attitude. He helped us find the products we were looking for with outstanding suggestions. I got my vertical labret, daith and cartilage pierced here; the piercers are amazing. Gentle and kind souls at purple haze!! Cant wait to visit again.

Absolutely love this store, with an open mind you can go in and find unique gifts that you can’t find anywhere else. It is not all about one type of product. You may not have a need for a pipe or other smoking apparatuses but check out the candles that burn to the end, even if you are like me & there is no smoke in your atmosphere , they are far better than any scents I have purchased and the incense is something from the past, not the Indian stinch from everywhere else. There is apparel, posters & fun gift ideas. Did I mention the awesome staff & that goes for all the purple haze stores in our area. Very friendly & helpful, unlike the mall stores or dept stores where you can’t find anyone working there!

Awesome place they got all the stuff youd need to do your stuff with pretty close to the best head shop in Lexington a little hard to get in and out of but its worth the inconvenience

I walked in needing help finding jewelry for my conch piercing; it’s my first time changing it, and really had no idea what I was looking for, other than a hoop. I was greeted with a smile and they were happy to help me find exactly what I needed. It was only $5, too! Thanks guys! 💛

Very friendly staff! I went in to get a nose ring because I had lost mine, and I had a good conversation with the lady up front. Nose ring wasn’t too expensive either, only 7$ and it’s cute, no skin irritation.

I got a septum piercing done here and that that was a great experience. Quick, easy, and done well. Then I went back on 6/15/21 to get a jewelry change. I picked out a small curved barbell and had my doubts about whether or not it would be a proper fit for my nose but was assured it would be fine. (The same woman who pierced my septum did the jewelry change) I paid $20 for the jewelry change and $5 for the jewelry. Well I woke up the next day with a lot of irritation but I figured it was just because it was the first time it had been changed over the next couple days it started to hurt more and more and so I went in on 6/18/21 to get it changed back to my original piece and explained the whole situation and wanted to see if I could get it changed for free since this was their mistake, I also explained that I spend quite a bit on money there on glass and Delta 8 products regularly. Well they wouldn’t do the change for free, so I had to pay another $20 to get it changed out again. This time a different piercer changed the jewelry and she even said that she never would have put that piece of jewelry in my nose because it was way to small!! Then she lost the ball from my original jewelry and had to replace it, fine it is what it is or so I thought. When I got home and looked in the mirror I realized that the ball wasn’t screwed in all the way and you could still see the threading poking out! Well I tried to screw it in more and it won’t budge so I guess that means she put in a ball with too long of threading and let me walk out of the shop like that..... I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience at Purple Haze. I used to love coming in for all my smoking needs and I’ve always really liked all the people who worked there. I figured that the piercers would be knowledgeable and I made the mistake of trusting them. I won’t be returning to Purple Haze. 😢😢😢I’d love to hear from a Purple Haze representative regarding this experience.

Great shop and great people. After my second visit 2/23/19 I have got to say one place that the customer service is above average. My first visit Sam had a great knowledge of products. Check this place out if you havent yet. I personally will be going back. If you got questions Im sure anyone here can and will help.

I just picked up a pack of Joker papers, that says .99 from a box that says .99. It scanned 2.50, the associate insisted. I really want them to see this and correct it. I wanted 3 packs and he wanted almost $8.00. Sorry friends, Ill go to Botany Bay.

This guy is so nice. He was telling me how he had regulars he will call if a thing comes in that they are looking for. He sells surprise bags which who does NOT LIKE SURPRISES? I love the selection and I love the statement his building makes just by itself. He even sells the Simpson pipes. :)

The burnout kids working in there at 5:05pm today put zero effort into their customer service. The older gentleman (maybe 40s) and the guy with the awesome sideburns have given me excellent customer service, but the people in there today were useless zombies.

Its an ok store but I feel the staff are not well informed of the products they sell and others on the market. All you need to work here is a hemp bracelet and a bob marley tee.

Decided to stop in and check out the store since Botany Bay moved locations. Front and center by the register is 2 pipes that are obviously traditional meth/crack pipes on top of a “legalize it” rolling tray. Decided to not purchase what I was going to after seeing this. I will never spend a dime with this business as long as they are supporting the destruction of our communities.

I purchased the clout vape battery and also the kind pen. Both broke with in 2 weeks of purchasing. Cool people. really nice glassware. but stay away from the vape devices. You can get the exact vape same products for less then half what they charge using Amazon. I payed 55 for the clout flip-out vape battery device (I used it daily for less then 2 weeks and it just stop working) they only 20 online.
