I stayed here last week while my sister in law was being induced. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean. Our rooms were nice and clean and it was very quiet in general. Breakfast was alright they had coffee, bagels, yogurt and cereal. I would 10/10 recommend staying here! Oh and parking is free if you’re staying here:)
Stayed at the Tiverton while my sister underwent surgery at UCLA. Its great that a place exists like this to accommodate patients and their families so close to the hospital. All of the staff was very nice and helpful when needed. The Continental breakfast consisted of cold cereals, yogurt, juice, plain bagels or toast, and coffee. Our room was a little nicer than a Motel 6. 2 double beds, nice big TV with plenty of stations, mini fridge, etc. They even had a recliner in the room which was a plus for my husband who is still healing from shoulder surgery and cant lay in bed yet. My one and only complaint is that the beds suck! They are memory foam mattresses on a wooden base and upon sitting on the edge the mattress literally sank to the base. I fought the bed the first night trying to find a comfortable place, with me feeling like I was sleeping head down on a hill!! 2nd night I slept with my head to the foot of the bed which was only slightly better. Other than the bed, everything else was pretty good.
Good hotel ig and ok breakfast, nice staff as well. They need to start cleaning theyre carpets because they feel disgusting to walk on in the rooms and when I got my room this time AND the last time it looked like they hadnt cleaned out the grout in the shower for months. ALSO I fell in the courtyard today because it was absolutely FLOODED with water and a measly caution slippery sign isnt enough to keep old people from falling. Yall got lucky I’m young. I also broke my phone doing so. Wearing sneakers. broke my knee open.
We stayed here two weeks , as my father got a bone marrow transplant. Hotel was nice , quiet, peaceful, staff were very helpful , nice.We would stay here again!
Very clean room with 2 double beds, reclining chair, fridge, 3 drawer desk, large Smart TV with cable service and access to streaming services, if you have such accounts. Wi-Fi in the room is adequate.Free parking in a secure garage is a real plus. Shuttle service to UCLA Medical Center runs on a schedule, but you can also easily walk there in a short time.Front desk and maintenance services are top notch. A limited breakfast is included- yogurt, juice, coffee, bread, muffins, etc. There is also a limited kitchen to prepare your own food, small library/lounge, and a garden area. The hotel is owned and operated by UCLA, and is available to any patient of UCLA with an upcoming medical appt.
Clean, quiet place. There was a therapy horse in the lobby, made my visit to the hospital ten times better!
I liked everything about this hotel 🏨.My room was comfortable and very clean and the service was really wonderful. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly (with the exception of the lady who is in charge of the breakfast). The evening front desk staff were real standouts!! Thank you Tiverton!!
The location of this hotel is great but that is about it. We checked in and upon arriving to our room we found a stinky filthy germ infested room. The odor in the room was strong of air freshener I guess to mask the filth I am assuming. There was a dirty soiled bath towel slung over the shower rod in the bathroom. The ice bucket and cups were in the bathroom by the toilet and there was blood on the two pillowcases on the bed.The flooring that I assume is supposed to be brown, was black and worn out and dirty. The air conditioning unit in that room, when it kicked on, sounded like a semi truck. I brought all this to the attention of the front desk and they moved us to a different room. I won’t go in to any further details except to say the second room was not any better. When we tried to call the front desk nobody answered. Horrible place to stay if you value your well being and health.
My husband had eye surgery across the street. I called and called nobody answering phone three people standing out front desk talking told him I needed to get in the gate. They said they’d let me in went back did not open the gate called and called again went back into the lobby. Standing there talking finally got our room dial zero still nobody answering the phone horrible
Absolutely the best! Especially for those in need of care at UCLA! 24 hr shuttle that has always been courteous and timely! Rooms are remodeled with modern updates! Staff is always accommodating and polite! Plenty of free underground parking, big commodity in LA! My wife and I (she has several health issues) have found this place as a bit of a safe haven from the hustle and bustle of LA! Huge Grocery store right across the street. Many food options available nearby! Weve stayed here many times and highly recommend it!
Convenient all around for UCLA patients. Their least expensive room is great. Large bathroom & clean shower, comfy bed and pillows, great selection of cable channels and a clean nice sized refrigerator. It is located directly across the street from Ralphs (grocery store) and Target. House keeping is only 2/days a week which is inconvenient if youre not feeling well on room cleaning day and dont want to be disturbed. When I inquired, staff told me it is because of COVID (5/22 ?) and when I saw the house keeper I asked for extra garbage bags, and she did what she could in my room on her own behest (garbage, towels-super nice lady) and she explained she was unable to help more bc theyre short staffed. I think thats more of the reason as she is the only house keeper I saw. It would be nice if they had someone to help with your luggage or bring essentials to your room on a non-cleaning day. Its difficult when youre sick and there by yourself to do these simplest of things. I think they would greatly benefit from some UCLA student volunteers-no extra costs for them and maybe an extra credit situation for the students.
Location is great. Across the street is a Ralphs and Target. No microwave in the room but its in the dining room. There is a refrigeratorId stay here again!
Great place to stay if you are a UCLA medical patient or family member. Within walking distance of hospital. Clean rooms, continental breakfast & FREE PARKING!
Do not get a courtyard room is you need a dark room at night!! Stayed 5 days for some medical appointments had a second-floor room that looked out over the courtyard, big mistake. There are lights blazing all night in the courtyard area and the window coverings do not block out much of the light. After the first night requested a different room and were told they would get in touch with us when cleaning was done so we could move. Never happened. Due to surgery the next day we opted not to ask again until later in the week which we did and were told the same thing- honestly, I dont think anyone ever tried to help us out with this issue. Oh yes and the beds were horrible! We finally rotated the mattresses and that helped a little. On the plus side the fresh ground coffee in the lobby was great. We asked for a microwave in the room, and they did have an extra one that they brought up for no charge.
They were remodeling when I stayed for medical procedures at UCLA in April 2018. Hopefully its nicer and quiet now. ...I had to find another hotel because the walls and ceiling were terribly thin. I could hear everything going on around me and couldnt rest. The lobby was updated and nice. Seemed a bit misleading for the rest of the hotel. Everyone was super great there. The location is great too.
Mediocre at best. Although the location is convenient, the amenities are non-existent. This place reminds of a 1950s hotel that needs to be remodeled and upgraded.. The A/C system was horrible with high fan noise and a rattling grate. Impossible to sleep. The pillows are super thick and non-compressible. Impossible to sleep on.. Buffet breakfast was a stale bagel wrapped in cellophane and a box of cheerios. Coffee was old gas station quality...tepid, dilute and stale tasting.
I stay here when I visit UCLA for medical treatment and have never had a bad experience. My only difficulty has been booking when last minute doctors appointments are scheduled due to the popularity of the Tiv. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping have all been friendly and helpful. The facility often feels dated, but that is not why I am there. The beds have been comfortable enough, the air con works, and with a kitchen available to use or a kitchenette in the room I can save money or prepare specific meals when preparing to undergo surgery. Being only a few minutes walk from the medical facility and having an available shuttle allows me to park my truck in the hotels parking structure and not need it until time to leave. I appreciate all that the Tiverton House does to simplify my life while dealing with a chronic illness.
Excellent stay on a recent visit to the area and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Clean and basic quarters for families of patients and other individuals in need of temporary quarters at UCLA. Secure facility within walking distance to Ronald Reagan Medical Center and the main campus. Across the street is a super market and within 5 minutes one can walk to many eateries and coffee shops. There is a lounge and a business center. Reasonable rates. Very responsive and friendly staff. Transportation available to the medical center.
A very friendly atmosphere and great staff. They have been able to make adjustments for our changing needs. Highly recommend to anyone who is visiting the Medical Center. Room has just what you need with comfortable beds and a warm shower.
Tiverton House is a great place to stay if youre an out of town patient going to UCLA Medical Center. Its very close to the campus and has a lot of places around to grab a bite to eat or just relax. The hotel staff is very kind and accommodating. The only reason Im giving it four stars instead of five is because the hotel and rooms are very dimly lit, so much so that its difficult to even read or see anything in the rooms. Also, the hotel is in need of updating badly. Bathrooms will accommodate wheelchairs and people with disabilities, but theres paint chipping in places and the hotel has areas in disrepair. Also, the beds and furniture arent very comfortable. I cant sleep in a bed, so I rented a recliner from Rent-A-Center which was great and delivered the recliner right to our room (we requested a first floor room). They do have a very nice continental breakfast and a communal room for that. They have a very lovely communal living room area as well as a library and computer room. Parking is very easy in their underground parking garage and elevators to all floors. There are no bellhops though to help with baggage so you do have to carry your own baggage but they do have carts to help with that. Also, when you check in, drive up to the front of the hotel (theres a semi-circular driveway) so you can get your pass key to the underground parking. Also, they do have a communal small kitchen that you can store food in the fridge (they also have mini refrigerators in the rooms, as well as hair dryers and ironing boards) and you can cook in there as well.I would definitely recommend staying at Tiverton house. I would stay here again for sure.
When coming to UCLA for medical treatments, this is the place to stay. 5 minute walk to the center. They are working on the hotel, but its ok. The beds are comfortable, which is most important after receiving treatment. You want close, quiet, comfortable and friendly accommodating staff. The Tiverton checks all those boxes.
Stayed here for 5days while my mom had surgery @ UCLA Hospital & had a great experience!! Very friendly staff & a very home-like atmosphere!! Coffee, tea & hot chocolate dispenser downstairs in lobby & sitting area! Breakfast is great!! Fresh fruit & danishes, bagels, cereal dispensers. Juice dispenser, apple, cranberry, orange juice & water! Greek yogurt, fruit yogurt, hardboiled eggs fruit cups, coffee & milk!! The room was very nice & clean!! Cleaning staff was great & in fact all the staff was great & would go out of there way for you!! The shuttle was amazing to not be from LA & they knew where the best drop off was, for shortest walk, to go to hospital or surgical waiting room or medical records etc!! & not worry about parking & paying to park!! Ralphs grocery store is across the street & has free parking underneath!! UCLA tiverton house has several sitting areas inside & outside, so u can relax, chat with other guests or read a book!! Already have next reservations set booked for follow to my moms follow up, cuz they r booking out more then a month ahead, so call early to make reservations!!
Close proximity excellent caring professional staff from the front desk to housekeeping. Rooms are clean and simple with all basic needs satisfied. Lovely option for UCLA when at hospital.
Great staff! Our housekeeper Lucy was so kind. All the staff was friendly and helpful.
This was the perfect place for me to stay during a short trip to UCLA. It was clean, convenient, the staff were friendly and the facilities were good. It maybe slightly expensive, but I was glad I chose this place and stayed in the comfort of an air conditioned room during an L.A. heatwave.
Basic, nice, very clean hotel that is super convenient for anyone going to the Medical center. Ralphs groceries (4 star), Chik-fil-A a couple blocks from your room makes it highly desirable for anyone supporting a patient.
My mom had a 5 week stay at Tiverton for a medical procedure and we couldnt have been more pleased.Courteous and friendly front desk staff, top notch support/housekeeping staff who are warm and kind, and the room and hotel are lovely and well kept. The location is also a 2 minute drive to the hospital, but a patient shuttle is also available. Highly recommend Tiverton-you will have a wonderful experience!
Clean, quiet, cool... AC very quiet and consistent. Good internet. Ample outlets and USB charging ports. Convenient coffee & tea. Very short walk to UCLA medical buildings.
Very disappointed. We stayed in an upgraded room, where you cannot control the room temperature. We had eight blankets to keep warm as we froze. Others complained it was hot. This property should be ashamed of increasing the rate when the rooms are uncomfortable, and walls are so thin you can hear their tv rather than your own. Whatever tv service they subscribe to they should reconsider. We only were able to get four channels. Again, very disappointed on the quality of the new rooms.
The location was pretty convenient and parking wasnt hard to find. I like the fact that it is situated in a nice and quiet neighborhood. I felt safe walking around the area. Rooms are well designed and comfortable for people to live in.
Stayed here while my cousin is donating her kidney for a transplant. My room had an electric fire with smoke coming out, but no fire alarm went off. I inhaled enough smoke that I had to visit ER to get oxygen treatment. Risked my life here. Glad I didnt fall asleep and respond to the electric burning sound and managed to escape the room not too late. Building is way too old for electrical work.
No in room coffee maker. Fridge but no microwave. No plushy bathrobe I could get charged for if I took it. No dresser for my clothes - Im a Man in a Suitcase. This is not a 4 star hotel.
They take a great time and personal interest in all patients attending UCLA MEDICAL CENTER. Many thanks to the staff for guiding me and my husband before my Brain surgery last July. You and your staff were very encouraging.
I tried calling this establishment to inquire about room rates and was unsuccessful twice. I was put on hold both times, and waited the first time on hold for 10 minutes. No staff ever picked up the line. I tried again and was also put on hold, never connecting with a staff member to inquire about room rates and availability. If they choose not to allow potential guests to search online in their system for rates and availability, then they need to have adequate staff to handle telephone calls. For a place that was likely established to provide a service to people in need at UCLA, Tiverton House needs to do a much better job in handling inquiries.
Not bad for an overnight stay if you have someone at the hospital. Bed is a bit uncomfortable, but the room is a decent size and clean. Breakfast is included.
This is a decent hotel located near UCLA medical school. Its about 10-15 minutes walking distance from Ronald Reagan Hospital. Since it is located in Westwood, its close to a lot of restaurants. Target, Trader Joes, Ralphs, CVS are just around the corner within walking distance. Gated parking with card access, so its really safe. They also have free shuttle going to Medical plaza.
Great place to stay. Wonderful accommodations. Very comfortable beds, clean rooms. Very roomy with large fridge and lots of storage. Good continental breakfast!
Friendly and accommodating staff, no bad smells or big issues. Parking was pretty limited for a big truck. Campus is across the street and lots of nearby shops and good places to eat.
Great place to stay for the long time they had my wife in the hospital. The staff was wonderful it was necessary to stay there over Thanksgiving and a little time after , there was a catered Thanksgiving Dinner and a live band for our enjoyment what a wonderful idea , Thanks to all of you you really helped raise the spirits of all. Thank you very much
The only thing positive about this place is location. Building under construction, this is no place for a recovering patient. It’s like placing your love one in the middle of a war zone. The breakfast is horrible! Please take your family to a better location.
Been staying here for over 20 years! Fabulous staff clean rooms location the best. Rates are unbeatable. If you have to go to Ucla medical this is the perfect hotel.
Closest to UCLA Med Plaza. Good breakfast selection included. Exercise area, underground parking, library and community kitchen. Poor wifi connection.
I had to rate Triverton House with 2 stars because they recently renovated their rooms. One of which we stayed in during the winter and right after heavy rain pour in CA we had NO HEAT in our room and the window was open upon entering our room. Imagine that!!!Although the Treverton House is conventientially located for easy access to Ronald Regan Hospital. Not having the option to to warm your room sucks. They should make customers aware because it will give us an opportunity to come prepared. I called around to several stores (Target, Home Depot, and Walnart) looking to buy a portable heater and everyone I called was sold out. Bommer. If you are planning to stay here anytime soon bring a space heater with you, if you like a toasty room before falling off to sleep.
Convenient, clean hotel with a free shuttle to the Ronald Reagan medical center at UCLA . Free breakfast and free parking, which isnt easy to find in West Los Angeles.
The rooms are decently sized for LA, about 500 sq ft for two full beds. Free access to coffee machine all day.
Tiverton was a wonderful clean safe place to stay. Air conditioned clean rooms with breakfast and free parking. Free shuttle to UCLA.
A great place to stay..Very clean and great service.I dont say anythingSo close to the UCLA medical center, a 5-10 minute walk..
We came to Tiverton many times.I had Brain surgery last year at UCLA.The staff are always so nice and willing to help with anything you may need.It is truly a place of hospitality. So needed when traveling from other state to stay.I have one more brain surgery to go.So Iam so grateful to know we can go to stay at the Tiverton House. They treat you like family.Thank you to the staff for all your kindness and hard work.
Looking forward to the remodel this year. Will be nice to have things updated. But morning staff at the front desk is super nice and the breakfasts are very nice.
Very close and convenient to UCLA Medical Center and shopping! Rooms are now also being updated as well making for a more enjoyable stay!!!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TIVERTON HOUSE.... TIVERTON HOUSE IS ALWAYS SO NICE N CLEAN. THE LADIES AT THE FRONT DESK ARE SO SWEET N SO CARING N POLITE.....TIVERTON HOUSE IS ALWAYS SO NICELY CLEAN FROM THE LOBBY 2 THE ROOMS (FLOORS)..I JUST LOVE IT!STAY SAFE N GOD BLESS US ALL 🙏
Its a nice clean place to stay. I enjoy it. They are in the renovation process. If my room had been renovated I would have given the 5th star.
Over all I like the Tiverton but the only issue was when I was going through Housing assistance. I paid full price until I was approved and out of $260 cash I have them. I only received $100 cash back and I am waiting for $160 check that was sent out between the 17th-19th of December and have not Havent received it and Its the 6th of January.
What can I say. Lovely people helping others during hard times. Its not a 5 star hotel but its really the best for those who qualify to stay.
Stay here because my son is in the hospital for 3 months now and the times Ive been here the hospitality is amazing the front desk people are very helpful... I called last min to try and get a room and they helped me out as much as possible and I was able to get a room..
I liked it here. Staff was nice and rooms were clean. Very close to the UCLA medical center.
Great customer service. Clean. Free continental breakfast. Close to UCLA and many restaurants, grocery stores, and Target.
Quaint little hotel. Ronald Regan affiliated, so ambience is very quiet as to accommodate for patients. Horrible pillows though.
Very conveniently located to the UCLA hospital and quick shuttle service is available, no more than a ten minute wait.
Love it kinda old musty smell but very convenient for patients to stay ...near UCLA hospital stores restaurants
Nothing fancy, just a standard room. However, the location, price, and service are hard to beat. I would stay here again if I needed to be close to UCLA.
Very nice accommodations, helpful staff, COVID safe. Convenient to UCLA Medical Center.
Best and most accessible Hotel near UCLA. Good prices, and maximum comfort. Has an Exercise room, and Lecture room.
The staff is friendly and cooperative. The parking is a little tight but everything always looks clean and well maintained.
Central location especially if attending a conference at UCLA. Account.odations are basic but clean and there is free parking.
So kind and the desk. Place is clean and taken care of. Do not like the bed though. Way to bouncy!
Always clean. Love the staff. Extremely helpful and courteous to all UCLA patients
Good place to stay when visiting UCLA medical service. Few of the front desk staff are extremely rude.
Affordable lodging for Medical visits. Shuttle service is fast and goes to all the major medical buildings.
If you gotta go to UCLA Medical, at least stay at Riverton House! Its almost as good as staying at home💕
Awesome place to stay when going to UCLA med center. $12 per night...
Nice breakfast and close to everything. The staff is very customer friendly.
Great location. Quiet. Staff is great. Supermarket (Ralphs) 2 minutes away.

Tiverton House is clean, employees are friendly. We had a very nice experience staying at this place.
Convienent to UCLA Medical, helpful staff, clean rooms, fresh breakfast, no parking fees, secure parking
Great location for when you need to stay in that area because you are seeing a doctor or someone is in the hospital.
Great people, excellent location & quality breakfast all at a reasonable price.
They took good care of my wife while she was going to UCLA Medical Center
This is my go-to location of all of the 3 UCLA owned hotels on or adjacent to their Westwood Village campus.
Kind of dirty. Needs an update BAD. Staff was friendly, but beds were hard and had hairs in them.
Stayed here the night before treatment. Great accommodations.
Great stay! Clean and affordable and close to UCLA.
Dated, but clean and comfortable! Good breakfast spread.
Best place to stay if you are a patient at UCLA!
Had a murphy bed room. That was cool. Room was clean and quiet.
Excellent service, the receptionist are very courteous and more than ready to help.
Great location, free parking and comfy beds.
Elevator in main lobby not working, which made it difficult to get down to the lobby. Had to find and use the service elevator.
The were kind and helped make our stay comfortable.
Great place. Keep up the amazing work. Helping out many people and families.
Great service, excellent location,nice breakfast.
People who stay there have medical issues. Not good for a weekend getaway.
For the price and what people stay there for the staff and place is well kept up
Such a nice place. The people are incredibly friendly too.
Hotel is clean and functional. No extras or warm meals.
The bed was very uncomfortable, I could not move my arm in the morning.

Love this place
I chose this hotel for the location which is great if you have business to do at the medical school. The rooms are spacious and it was quiet enough to sleep with the window open. This was necessary because the AC is so loud I wasn’t able to sleep. The cleanliness of the room was OK but not up to the standards I’m used to. Especially when they implemented the new policy that you have to ask for housekeeping the night before.I’m not sure why it says 4 star health and wellness hotel - it clearly is not any of that. The gym is a cramped room full of decommissioned bikes and treadmills. There is no sauna, pool or anything you would associate with wellness. The breakfast is truly unhealthy, everything is packaged and single use, self-service. I skipped it from day 1.The laundry room was great. They could provide laundry detergent pods for a buck, so that not everybody has to go buy it for just one load. They redid the lobby, looks nice now. The construction was really annoying. No discounted room rate was offered.I might go back here because of the convenient location.
I love everything about this place. The warm, friendly, helpful and caring staff. The perfect location, close to the hospital. Comfortable rooms, beautiful courtyard, nice and serene sitting areas.
Good
It was Great
The hotel is distinguished by its location close to UCLA Hospital and its presence in a beautiful area where all services are available. As for the negative aspects of the place that do not make me return to it, it is that the beds and pillows are uncomfortable, and the breakfast is bad that does not make you go down to eat it. Also, room service is not available on the weekend, although when booking this was not mentioned on the site, but rather it is stated that it is a daily service, and this is very bad, especially for patients. The staff are mostly nice and helpful.I hope the hotel takes care of room cleaning, breakfast and beds.
The hotel is nice for the Westwood area..Close to Ucla Hospital..5 minutes walk..The services are close to a full supermarket and halal restaurants. The price is reasonable and the staff interact with the guests and their attention is wonderful..I recommend it..
Affordable reservation, reasonable price, compassionate and friendly staff.🥰Very close to the clinic. Thanks to all the staff, 👏especially Verónica.🙏
I will visit this place soon. I want to know the prices. How much does it cost per night?
Temporary accommodation for those who come to their hospital appointments. It is clean and I recommend it
Very clean and good service
