Ive been a part of this business for over a decade, so I know what I want to see and experience when it comes to a vape shop. Cloud 9 meets and exceeds these expectations. The staff is friendly and highly knowledgeable, the store is well stocked, and the atmosphere makes you want to stick around and enjoy the vibes. I live in Charlottesville and Ive been to 8 or 10 vape shops up here and not one has been as helpful and as willing to specially order anything that I like, as Cloud 9. Its well worth the 72 mile ride that I make every couple months to get the exact vape I like from a very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Plus the vape prices are alot more affordable than anywhere in Charlottesville. I highly recommend this place.

This is my number one choice when I need vape juice and I don’t know what I want and I want to see a LOT of options. I always walk out of here with something.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!This is the only Vape store in town where I have received EXCELLENT customer service. As a person who was new to the nic salts, I had a lot of questions. They were so kind, and patient with me, and gave me their 100% attention. Ive been to other stores in town who act as if youre bothering them by asking so many questions... Ill never go back to those places!Ive even had issues where a vape was defective. I took it back to the store, and they had NO PROBLEM replacing the item - they actually gave me an upgrade!Just do the phone test - call other shops in town, and see how rudely most of them treat you, then call CLOUD 9 - you will see what Im talking about immediately!!!Keep up the good work CLOUD 9 - youre the best! :)

UPDATE 10/21: a year ago (stated below), I wouldn’t have step foot back in this place, but since then, the owner/upper management made a HUGE change. With Bailey and Co. running the store, I would travel from wherever necessary just to take my business to them over anywhere else. Their selection is phenomenal and their customer service is even better. Bailey always keeps me in mind even with week intervals of not coming in to always share something new with me that she knows I’ll enjoy. She has never steered me wrong with any product and I trust her with mostly hefty purchases. Thank you Cloud 9 for being such an amazing contribution to retail industry that is few and far between these days!The guy with dreads has got to be the worst customer service rep on the planet. It seems like you are seriously bothering him by walking into the store. His attitude, time and again, has given me many opportunities to hopefully disprove this theory before I just made a random and/or rash judgement call. Nope...still the same each time. Doesn’t seem like he’s going anywhere or changing his ways, so this store, however convenient, will not be visited by me again. There are plenty of other shops that will be more than happy to take my money and treat me as a valued customer. Hope you choose the same!

Went in today, with a few questions, and one or two misconceptions about how the equipment i owned worked. Rather than selling me a new tank, which i didnt actually need per se, I was pointed in the right direction by the helpful and knowledgeable staff on site. My vague description on what i liked in flavor for vape juice was also deciphered into a recommendation that I am thrilled with. Definitely my destination for all things vape going forward.

I wish there was an option for 10 stars! ⭐ Bailey and her guys are always so sweet and helpful!! Very knowledgeable! When my favorite vape isnt in stock, they always recommend something very similar if not almost identical just different names! The variety at the store is amazing! So many things to choose from! All kinds of yummy 21+ snacks too!! Everything they have recommended my husband and I try we have loved! Yall rock!! Please never leave cloud 9 Madison heights!

Great selection, if you want to see products first hand, there selection is very wide, including e-juices. However, pricing compared to local and online competitors is through the roof. Everything seems to be priced at either msrp or higher, sad when I can order this straight from manufacture cheaper even If pay shipping. But I guess they got to pay rent somehow. But when a kit they sell at $60-70 is widely available online or across their own parking lot for $30-35....might want to reevaluate your business model.

They have a good selection and fair prices, but every time I come in, their music is just awful. If it werent for this, I would rate it five stars, but the music is just terrible and I cant stand being in the store because of this one thing alone. One of the guys that works here also seems like he is totally disinterested in helping out with questions, too, but I can overlook a moody employee. Please change your music!!!Edit: New management has changed a lot of things here and now Im happy to say I can change my review! Ill definitely be coming back!! 👍

I come here often and have spent a lot of money here but after tonight I will never spend another dime there! I came tonight to get two vape juices and some coils and there was a couple in front of me that a woman employee was helping. So I patiently waited and then another customer came in behind me and the lady employee helped him before me even though I had been waiting there for nearly 20 minutes! She rang him up for coils and didn’t even pay me any attention even though that customer had just walked in and I had been waiting for almost 20 minutes. So I went to Gorilla Vapes in Forest instead and they have way cheaper prices than you guys and actually help the customers in the order they came in like it should be.

Cloud 9 is awesome! The staff is great, the selection of juice is pretty good, and the smoke shop side has been continuing to improve since they’ve opened. I’m a regular and plan on keeping it that way!

Avoid this place if you can. Bought a bottle of juice on Saturday that had been expired for a year, per the manufacturer directly to me. When I called the shop the manager stated that he used to make vape juice and knows it is good for up to 2 years. Most things I saw that I liked were overpriced compared to other local shops that carry the same item.

Best vape shop I’ve been too. A big selection on juices and vapes and other items ;D I love this place. Today was my first time going there and they treated me like I was a long time customer.
