Went there for lunch with wifey and it wasnt too packed but filling up as we ate. The restaurant is really nice and spacious yet intimate. The service was really fast and attentive. We ordered the churrasco and fried pork chunks lunch specials. Gotta say the price was amazing and with nice full portion, straight bargain in todays economy. Got the tostones relleno con camorones for appetizer and it was bomb. So damn good! The pork chunk with moros was delicious and tasty. The churrasco was fire, the yuca was perfect texture. Everything was really well seasoned, tasted fresh. If I had one critique and a small one at that maybe the yuca could of been seasoned a little more but really no complaints with the food. I really enjoyed our lunch there. Would love to come back one night for dinner with the band playing. I can just feel the atmosphere there must be amazing, the decor was spectacular.
I would happily give 5 stars any other time I’ve been here. However, this was not the case on Father’s Day 2024. We visited during happy hour and ordered drinks with the assumption that they would be 50% off as is advertised on the menu Monday through Sundays (no exceptions mentioned). The receipt did not reflect any happy hour prices which then lead us to find out that happy hour is not honored on holidays. This is not our first time visiting this location, I’ve probably been here over a handful of times and have never heard or seen any exception for happy hour like this. The manager explained to us that it shouldn’t even be advertised as an exception and should be “assumed”. I don’t agree with this at all. The issue is not the price of the drinks at all, but it is the principle of the situation. A customer should never be mislead. Unfortunately, this has left a sour taste in our mouths and will have me thinking twice about returning. The photo is how we found our car in the parking lot upon leaving which is a coincidence as it reflects exactly how we felt when leaving this establishment.
We came for happy hour on Fathers day, we checked the menu with the section of happy hour, but they still charged us full price. The server claimed that happy hour didnt include holidays, so we double checked the menu and looked for any sign that stated such (none existed). We feel cheated especially when the managers came to say he has no obligation to inform customers of exceptions or special events, arguing with us that people dont need to know because its pointless or they dont deserve it.Disgraceful
Five Stars for this amazing place, you can enjoy the food, (delicious ), drinks (awesome), and spend the most beautiful times with your family and friends. The environment is quiet and full of joy, the Staff is very professional, specifically the bartenders (Luis Enrique), grateful for his professionalism, i will be back each time that i can. If you want to spend a wonderful night, I recommend this place, thanks so much.
The food here is very tasty. Visiting this restaurant is like being in a Cuba without Fidels communism. We got a family platter, which brings a decent amount of different Cuban proteins and fied veggies. The pork chucks are perfectly tender and seasoned.
My family and I were in town for a vacation. We came in later on a Sunday and found this gem. The mojitos are delicious and the food is even better. Yansi was our server and she was excellent! I highly recommend this place if you want a great Cuban experience. A side note, it was fairly busy and loud on a Sunday due to popularity and the live music, so be aware when making your plans.

For Sundays if you go before 7:30 PM you need to buy $20 worth of food (per person) AND if you stay past 7:30 PM you need to also purchase another $25 worth of food and drinks Per Person, not an average per party per person... so for those of us which do not drink this would mean we need to pay lots of food... $45 per person for the night!I wish they would set the RULES to be $30 per person if you go for both the Happy Hour and live show... if you come for the live show have it be $25 minimum.Again, I know and understand they need to make money, especially now!

LAZARO is the BEST! We come here almost on a weekly basis! Everyone is very nice but today we sat with Lazaro and WOW, he is the best at this! Super attentive and pleasant, and super funny while at it! From now on we’ll always ask for him!
This was insane. I’ve had good Cuban food. But never THIS good. Every item blew me away and I’d come here again in an instant.We started off with mojitos and mango juice. Mojitos are considered the best in the city! I personally loved the mango juice as it was super thick and tasty.We then had their fried pork chunks with fried plantains happy hour appetizer. This pork was super crispy on the outside, and super tender and fatty on the inside. It was perfectly seasoned just enough for the meat to still remain the star with its fantastic texture. The fried plantain chips were served with a tangy lemon mojo (sauce) to dip them in.We then got some shrimp filled puffs. The shrimp were soft and savory and the puff was super light and airy.The main dish I had was the vaca frita. This shredded beef is served in a beautiful baked plantain atop mashed plantains. I chose sides of mixed black beans and rice as well as caramelized plantains. The meat was incredible. So much flavor infused into tender, shredded meat. The rice and beans were so good themselves - I could eat a bowlful of that alone! And as always, plantains are so good when slightly sweet and caramelized.The final item we had was their dessert - torreja. This is essentially French toast, bread pudding, crème brûlée creation. It’s the best dessert item I’ve ever had in my life. So soft and custardy while crisp on the outside. Served with an incredibly creamy vanilla ice cream. Absolutely stunning and blew me away!Overall Mojitos is an absolutely phenomenal restaurant with excellent dishes and one of the best desserts I’ve ever had!
I love coming to mojitos with my children. They love the food so much because everything is delicious. Lazaro is always so nice to us and makes sure the children are taken care. This is one our favorite restaurants to come with the family.

In general, its a very good place to share with the family, but it did not go well for us. Some plates too salty. We requested a better table and the captain told us our 12-year-old daughter was a minor and couldnt be in the main salon, however there were smaller children in that area. A very crude excuse! We had to ask four times the waitress for our daughters milkshake.

First, every time I would fly in from Los Angeles I would make Mojitos my must stop in for Cuban spot. After 25 years in LA I decided to move back to Miami and one of the main reasons was Mojitos. The food here is so delicious that you can tell it’s made with Cuban love. I’m must admit I am addicted..lol The live entertainment here is outstanding and the staff is super attentive. The manager Robert is super professional and always at the door greeting and making sure you’re having a great time. This place is amazing!!

Just when I thought I had tasted all Cuban dishes around Miami, I checked out Mojitos and let me tell you anybody who is a foodie needs to come here and enjoy. Nice classics, with beef, pork and shrimp in patacones, or perhaps a nice mahi-mahi. Sometimes they offer live music and they’ll tag an entertainment fee on your tab

So I have mixed feeling about this place. Let me just first say that the place is super nice. Really Cuban with old footage of Cuba on the TV and the music is fantastic, all Spanish. Its a nice place to go with a loved one, family or friends. Saturday nights are popping with live music and space to dance. The food is good. I had the chicken.. which to me was kinda tasteless but my boyfriend had the steak which was soooooo good. But the part that got me was that we had two drinks and that came out alone to 40 bucks... My brother had two drinks with two double shots and that came out to 80... Idk lol that to me is kinda a lot. But other then that great vibe. Good music and good food. 👍

Was there on a Sunday early afternoon with my husband. We were sat at a table in the empty part of the restaurant which my husband wasnt so pleased about but when I saw that our server was going to be Maria. I told him we should stay because a lot of the Google reviews raved about her. So we stayed. It was happy hour. We got the Mojitos of course. I asked for mine without sugar and when I took my first sip not using the straw, I could tell it was made with sugar. I asked the unfriendly waitress to take it back. She said it didnt have sugar. I said it was very sweet. She said that is because they make it with Sprite so she asked if I wanted it with club soda instead. I said yes. By the way, I knew if was actually sugar and not the sprite because I felt the sugar granules on my lips. Anyway, she came back with the correct NO SUGAR Mojito. It was good! We ordered the $5 appetizers: Tostones with shrimp and fish croquettes. I was pleasantly surprised that they were not overly greasy or salty as I had read in some reviews. They werent really flavorful but the croquettes were served with a dipping sauce. The tostones were not and I could tell the waitress wasnt eager to please, so I didnt bother asking for a sauce for that. An appetizer plate came dirty and I also didnt bother to ask for a clean one. After that, our meal came. Husband was pleased with his grilled chicken, rice and beans. I ordered the fried fish bites appetizer as a meal because I really didnt want sides. I was again pleasantly surprised that they werent overly greasy or overly breaded. They also had no flavor at all. So, I ordered some tartar sauce which was I guess their own special recipe unlike the tartar sauce from other restaurants. It was fine. We asked for the check, it seemed higher than what I had calculated in my head. Husband paid and didnt want me to review the bill. Next day, I reviewed the receipt and the reason it was so much higher than I had calculated is because they add in a service charge and then there was a line for additional gratuity. Husband didnt notice, so he ended up paying an extra $9, above the 20% he paid in gratuity and they charged a fee for using a credit card. Definitely NOT worth the less then exceptional or friendly service. We are locals and really werent expecting this kind of underhanded, sneaky tourist trap antics. Just BEWARE! Im not going back and dont recommend. There are way better places to go spend your hard-earned money! If thats not a concern to you, the food and atmosphere were Ok.

Went Saturday night for a live music show, while waiting for a table, we noticed that there were empty tables that had minimum spending amount (100$). Nobody informed us about this option while we were waiting. Service was long, the server wouldnt check on us often, but they were kind and friendly. Food and drinks were delicious and the show was nice too.

The environment ws great the live music was good. Only think i dont like is that if you are not Cuban you dont get treated equally. They have seating preferences for their own. When we got there we where immediately pusged to a corner with no view. When we iquired about it we where told the other tables where occupied. That should have been an indication, but we stayed because of music.

I counted 8 times that a employee walked by me.Seriously 17 minutes!!! waiting and listening to the BLASTING music. (WHEN I CALLED THEY TOLD ME THAT THEIR MUSIC IS NOT ON LOUD DURING HAPPY HOUR)when I stood up to leave a waiter caMe running and placed a menu in front of me.the waiter and I COULDNT hear each other!Finally I heard him that he was interested in to see if I was eating alone!He told me that I should go sit inside and walked away. I did!They brought cold water, the Flimsy busy menu and left. There were a handful of young girls chit chatting at the entrance of the side door and other staff members walking by.I Waited 9 minutes.So disappointed that I did not get a chance to try the food and wait for my friends to arrive when they got off work to join me for dinner and drinks...
Buyer beware! The restaurant charges a 3% fee to the consumer to use a credit card for payment. On top of that I tried to used a Visa gift card and they said that didn’t take gift cards but did accept Visa?? Does not make any sense. Have always been able to use the gift card at any restaurant.

Guys this place is a trap!!! They overcharge you!! Don’t step here if you respect yourself.We came as a group of 5 people for a nice dinner and went out disappointed!! It’s the worst service I ever got!!!They overcharged us extra 20$ on top of the 17.9$ price of the cocktail.The claim of the waitress was “we added expensive tequila to your drink you should have asked us for the price before ordering”. The price on the menu was 17.9$ for a medium drink!!! How can you charge me extra without asking in advance? The waiter never told us the drinks will be 20$ more!!!In normal places, if the drink is sold for 18$, it’s 18$!!! In this restaurant it’ll be much more.When I called the manager to ask for the 39$ drinks I got, he was very unprofessional, rude and unwelcoming. He basically said it’s my problem I didn’t ask in advance what’s the price of the drinks. When I pointed out to him the menu said a certain price, he tried to say that I requested a specialty drink and it’s extra money. ( but we never were notified about it)I cite the response of the manager: “ you don’t know how restaurants work, you won’t survive here in miami, in south beach they charge 50$ for a coktail”.I was shocked from this answer !!!!ZERO in costumer service with such unprofessional attitude.You can be sure we’ll never return here.
Absolutely loved coming here with family. There was 11 of us and we came in during happy hour. Absolutely delicious apps and drinks. Drinks definitely had a heavy pour, so we were thrilled. We were outside and there were several that were smoking out there, we are non smokers, so we turned on the fans and it was better. The coconut cream mojito was perfect and the pork appetizer was delicious. Will definitely plan to be back.
My husband I were driving by and decided to try this restaurant. We ordered the pork with onion, arroz morro and plantains. It was so good that we both said anytime we visit Miami we’re definitely coming back. In addition the mojitos were made perfectly!

I just hate a place that you go to spend money & they charge yo a service fee to use your credit card & includes the tip on the bill! Very few people carry cash nowadays. This is not a place for tourists. This is a place for locals. On top of all that, nothing was outstanding about the place food, crowd, entertainment etc... & at the local level, only the servers could be penalized by patrons for including tip. Like I said before, this is not a tourist place in the Grove, Downtown, South Beach, where you include tip to the tourists who might think or take for granted that tip is included...

They have this ridiculous thing of charge service charge for happy hour that you need to consume more than 20 or $25 per person. Happy hours from 4 to 7. The majority of the people they consume more than the amount they said. bathed me to see a little sign on top of the table saying that.

My family and I dined at this restaurant 1/14. It was a party of 15. We had to wait till at least 8 people arrived before being sat but even after waiting for our group to arrive we were sat immediately.We sat close to the stage as the live music was about to commence. The music was lively,the atmosphere was incredible with numerous dancing couples enjoying a variety of Latin music. I enjoyed my time there....for the most part.The only complaint I have is that we stayed for four hours mostly due to our server completely being absent throughout MOST of our experience.We took 45 minutes after seating before our server reappeared to take our meals.After we enjoyed our drinks,dancing,meals,even a birthday cake we sat around waiting to end the night,we waited for our server,and waited and waited and waited till finally I was able to flag her down.If we were enjoying the music and she saw us actively talking,dancing,etc I would understand giving us the space. However by the last hour we were mostly on our phones,actively looking around just waiting to pay and leave.

Atention from waiters was great, food wasn’t well cooked. Wife ended vomiting everything as soon as we left the restaurant, salad was cut with giant size tomato slices. Place should have an inspection, most of family (including myself) vomit the food less than 10 minutes after leaving the place! Would have gave 1 star, gave 2 stars only due to the great attention from the waiters.
Beware of this place in order to get a table for ten at least 8 people need to be present so if you are getting together make sure everyone comes at the same time !! Then when you sit at the table on a Friday afternoon happy hour ends at 700 pm they make you pay your bill and you need to get up from the table . Waitress have no customer services they should really give them some classes we are in US . I also have to mention the Manager of this place they told me his name is Roberto short male with a beard , very rude with me and all my guests when I try to explain the situation he told us if we did not like it to leave . In order to have a Manager title you need to know how to speak with the guests. I gave them one star because the hostess blonde young lady sorry I did not get her name was very nice and tried to help us ! There are so many restaurant in Miami they should be thankful that we decided to go to their restaurant and not make us feel unwanted. I’m hoping the owner reads his restaurant reviews and makes some changes .it’s a shame such a nice place has this type of management !!

The appetizers were good, but the food was not. The malanga puree is very salty, just like the old clothes. The picaña was very cooked, even though medium well was requested. The delay was longer than normal. Definitely the Chefs not Nesta doing things right.

It was an rare surprise! We saw a famous Cuban singer Willie Chirino, it was like a party! And you can see it in the videos, it was a good food and lools like party environment, more that a restaurant environment, my husband like the food but was very loud music to be eating ( MAYBE ITS OLD LOL) BUT ANY WAY GOOD PEOPLE AND GOOD FOOD..
We asked the manager to change our place, we were looking for more confortable seats and he refused, his arguments were poor. They asked us to pay a $25.00 minimum consomption per person again if we move to another table. Incredible and not satisfactory for a client. Hope you find a better manager.
The food was delicious, but the service was terrible. Our waitress disappeared for 20 minutes when we said we needed time to see the menu. After we complained, someone else came take our food order. Then, I had to complain to the manager to get someone to come take a drink order. The waitress came and gave excuses and blamed us for asking for more time. The manager did nothing to correct the situation.I will not go back there ever again. Maybe if the kitchen staff ran the restaurant, it would have better service.
I have only been here once, but the food was better than expected and I want to go back and check to see if it was a fluke or if the food is good every time. I will update on my next visit.
I was there yesterday afternoon.Food: Good.Waiting time: Great.Service: Bad.The server was Danellis. She had a bad attitude since the moment she arrived to the table. She made a side eye when she noticed we brought a dog. Although the food was fast to prepare she never checked on us. Also, my sister ordered fried yuca and when she brought her boiled. We complained and Danellis answer was: You just said yuca so I assumed which was not true. The bus boy was kind and the the place and the food were good but this ladys attitude was not good at all.

The place looked clean, food was average, service was horrible and very slow. Our waitress kept disappearing, (even though restaurant was almost empty) had to get up several times to ask other employees for salt, lemon, pepper, drinks etc. They do not serve bread and butter, according to our disappearing waitress, they stopped serving bread during the Covid pandemic. My bill for 4 came to $174.00, they had included 15% tip autmatically, I provided my debit card and when they brought my receipt and card back, they had charged an additional $ 8.00 for paying with a debit card. I asked to speak with the manager and he had an attitude. This was not my first visit, but definitely my last. Definitely do not recommend this place and most definitely will not be returning.
Awesome authentic food and the Mojitos are to die for. Waitress Danellis was awesome! Provided options for food with recommendations on what to eat based on our preferences. Overall, great experience!
Food was great .. the environment was amazing .. the team was very hospitable … Yansi especially took care of the whole party in a very kind and professional manner .. highly recommended
The food was ok. In Miami there are very high standards and this did not meet up to the hype. It was a cute place though. Nice outdoor seating but that was all. I can get better food elsewhere.
There was a lady who used to work here her name was Cristina I think .... we’ll it rhymed with Cristina Aguilera lol anyways ... she told me the first day I meet her that “if you come to Mojitos and don’t drink a mojito then you can’t say you were at mojitos” hahaha best mojitos in town you guys!!!!Wonderful Cuban Reataurant
By far the best service I have gotten in so long. Our waitress was awesome I wish I could remember her name (she had a under cut/shaved sides hairstyle). Food is great drinks were strong music was a tad loud but so fun alot like a party.
I just moved to Miami from The DC area a few days ago. I was recommended to try this place out. Let me say- I am SO glad I did! The food was absolutely AMAZING!!! So good!! I had the snapper and my father had the pork chops. We were literally sitting in awe at how impeccable the flavors of each item were. So so so so good!! Service was great; food came out very quickly. I will definitely be back. (Probably tonight lol)
Used to visit often, and was always happy with food and service. On this visit, food was below average and service was not stellar. The restaurant was empty on a weeknight.
Great and lively atmosphere. The food is very flavorful and they had a diverse drink selection mis importantly, Danellis was spectacular. Great service!!!
This is by far my favorite cuban cuisine restaurant to have fun and have the best mojitos cocktails in South Florida. Id like to personally thank the waitress named Farah for taking care of me and my guests. She was extremely proactive and delivered everything I asked for in a timely manner.

I was not going to bother with a review but seeing the way the owner is responding I will.We had a large group (15 people) that went in to dine, upon sitting down the server told us that we can only have 3 checks maximum for the table so right there and then we told her who will we on which tab and then we ordered. The whole second round of drinks ordered were messed up but besides the point.When we got the bills, 2 of the tabs were messed up (one was over and the other was under), no big deal we went to tell the server.When we told the server she got very defensive and accused us of lying.The problem was not that the tabs got messed up, mistakes happen especially with a large group. The problem is that when we told the server she accused us of lying and then it took 50+ minutes for her to get a manager to help fix the mix-up which then took another 10 minute ish. That was the issue that it should not take over an hour for a mix-up to get corrected.I do not think it was profesional of the owner account to first accuse us of “over drinking” and forgetting what we ordered (for those that drank, we only had 2 drinks each over a 4 hour period). And then for the owner to respond again saying that we asked for the check to be split as if that was not the “rule” she told us before we even ordered.Again it’s not about the mix-up, things happen it is purely about the way it was handled afterwards was anything but professional.
MOJITO SW 8 STI have never in my lifetime received such bad customer service from the management staff. We were a group of 14 celebrating birthdays we were told we could not have 4 bills for the table and if we did not like Otto leave his tone of voice was harsh and loud, one of my friends told him to lower his voice as he was talking to ladies. they brought the checks at 7Pm without asking for them? We all had ordered appetizers and drinks, when we tried to order 2 more drinks we were told that was not possible and that we needed to leave because the table was reserved for other customers I WILL NEVER STEP FOOTIN MOJITOS AGAIN The mgr Robert has no clue what customer service is how can he be placed in a customer service position As we were leasing he told us never to come back. We almost had to sing happy birthday in the parking lot I do not recommend this restaurant to any one after this service.
A mixed review. Convenient location, pleasant help, so-so food, prices too high for the quality.The main problem with Mojitos is that it suffers from a schizophrenic mission personality. Is it a pick up bar for swinging singles, or is it a sophisticated restaurant for couples? Or, maybe, a nice place to take the family? Problem is, it tries to be all three but succeeds at none. No one likes to be seated with his or her family only to see ladies in skirts so short and tight pass by on the way to the bar on a quest to seduce. Worse still, the indecent dance moves when the too-loud music starts playing.In conclusion, go elsewhere if you are interested in decent food and decent ambiance.

Don’t bring large groups. The waitstaff gets confused. Took an hour to get the bill because they couldn’t figure it out. They added 8 mojitos to the bill that we never ordered.Response to owner: I ordered two drinks and I didn’t even finish the second one. Is 1.5 drinks over a 4 hour period “over drinking”? The server made a mistake on the bill (it’s ok to make mistakes). The manager on duty even stated “she put the drinks on the wrong bill”The problem is that it took over an hour to get the mistake fixed so we could leave. She didn’t want to ask for help from a manager to fix it.Based on the owner’s sarcastic response below and our experience yesterday, I would highly NOT recommend this restaurant.
Something is definitely wrong with their alcohol. Dont get me wrong, the place is really nice and food is amazing. But me and my friends asked for a round of shots of Don Julio, and we felt awful, THAT WAS NOT TEQUILA! we order Don Julio everywhere we go, and that was not it. We ran to the bathroom as soon as we took the shot. we had to throw up. Just the thinking about it makes me sick.
Horrible - lunch menu is a scam, you order and then they charge you full price and say they asked - when they never did. $20 for a drink. It’s ridiculous, don’t go and if you do be prepared to get ripped off.
This was my second time visiting Mojitos and it will be my last I was running a little bit late to meet my party and when I arrived they were not seated because according to their policy we all have to be together to be seated. Mind you is a Happy Hour Thursday evening completely empty restaurant. Next came the seating dilema we were going to be 7 persons and the tables are designed for 8 so the supervisor adv us that they would lose money if we sat at a table for 8 instead of 7. After an amicable discussion we were finally seated. The new policy for the happy hour is that you have to consume20 dollars within the Happy Hour timeframe 4-7 pm if you stay after 730 pm you will have to pay 25 usd cover for the music. And the last straw is the waiter coming to our table advising us in a non pleasant manner that some of us had not covered the 20 usd Happy Hour and we needed to choose before the 700 pm dateline. Would you return to a place that antagonizes its customers instead of catering in a pleasant way. BE CAREFUL with the waitresses the Tips are included and they will try to make it look like you are not leaving any tip so you give them extra and they ask you if you want receipt or not so you wont be able to tell. She asked me would you like to give any tip like if i wasnt already leaving the tip thats included. Basically is a way of stealing. if you are not paying attention they get you.
Food was very good and it was a decent portion. Bathrooms were very clean and the waiters were nice and attentive. I loved the environment and the culture. Wished I lived in Miami that way I could visit this branch more. Will pass by again when I return to Miami. Thanks for making my first experience a great one.
