Ive been coming here for years. Best massage ever!!. I usually do the 60-minute biofrezee and hot stones. Not too shabby for the price.

Massages were great! Firm touch, and i love having my scalp and face massaged. Clean and cute establishment. Very reasonable prices. Can also book great deals thru Groupon.

Go in and ask for a strong massage, Because my neck and shoulder are bothering me. I keep asking the guy Focus on my neck and shoulders. He ignored my request，I stopped my one-hour body massage. Even then hes still ask me for a tip！！！(By the way - I left $5 in the room before he asked for a tip)

My husband and I came here for a couples massage. There were a few reasons why we wont be coming back.1. While getting my massage the masseur got a phone call picked it up and walked away forgetting he was working.2. He burned me with the hot stones, he didnt even give me a heads up before putting them on. They were extremely hot! And instead of apologizing he and the other masseur chuckled it up.3. He has really long and sharp thumb nails and kept scratching me, it felt like I was getting cut.I really didnt want to say anything because it was suppose to be a nice relaxing massage for my husband and I so I just sucked it up and decided to just finish the massage and not come back. At the end I tipped them $10 each and the masseuse pointed at a tip chart and demanded I give them $15 each!? I was super annoyed at that point. Gratuity isnt mandatory, it even says so on their website. And after the whole negative experience I dont think I shouldve even tipped. It was not a good experience at all.Update: I called them back as asked from the owner and mentioned my post but whoever answered the phone said they didnt know what I was talking about and hung up.

You may not know me ,you may have read some of my other reviews. I like to say this. this little lady (Helen) here at this massage parlor was one of the best I have ever had . I travel for my work and Been to many massage parlors throughout the United states from the East Coast to the West Coast. Every massage parlor needs to have a lady like (Helen) Working for them. She was excellent giving me my massage and I would highly highly recommend her to anyone stopping by this place to get a massage. Can’t speak for the other ladies in there but Helen, gave me a lovely massage and the next time I’m passing through, if I’m going from one place to another, going past this part of LA off the 60 freeway or the 10 freeway I would definitely be pulling over to get me another massage from this lovely lady .(Helen )The owner of this establishment should be proud to have a lady like her working for them. I would give her a 5 star plus.So if you looking for a massage , ask for her by name .if not there I’m pretty sure the other ladies are just as good and also give a good massage.Thank you for giving me that great Massage

Best Massage Ive had for the price!I got the combo massage and felt completely reset after feeling really rundown yesterday.The only downside was everyone there struggled with English, if thats going to bother you. But it didnt affect the treatment I received.

My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The hot stones were super relaxing and both of us felt like all the tension in our necks, shoulders, and upper backs were relieved. It was so worth the money for us considering it’s more difficult for us to find a good place like this in our state. Overall, quality and price were amazing! Highly recommend

I came in and spent 10 minutes discussing the price. I had to tip the woman BEFORE the massage and after telling her I wanted a female masseuse, she looked annoyed. Lololol. The worst massage btw! I barely felt it and at one point she used the hands she had rubbed on over my body including feet to massage my face. 😩 Never going back. :(

Relaxing!!I came at a not so busy time 88:30pm on a Monday.I chose the $25/hour FOOT MASSAGEbut it was actually a full body massage ☺️$10 tip was preferable but I gave my massage therapist Lucy $20 because it was overall fantastic.Clean, relaxing music.My new favorite spot.Thank you and see you again next time!

Just came out for this place & feels headache. He put me in the smell nasty room. No white towel on the top of the bed like other massage places. When I put my face on the pillow I already feel headache & nasty. It’s smell awfull. If I didn’t pay yet I’ll just leave. The massage didn’t even feel good at all. Never comeback !

I got a good body massage here, they were pretty nice and they have a routine they use that does a decent job. I got private room for 90 minutes for $60 plus tip. Nice way to just relax and shut down and they wear a mask the whole time and I have mine on too. Call ahead and make an appointment so you don’t wait.

This is my first time at this spa and it was a wonderful experience. The girls were very good. I will definitely come back.

I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE... I came here with my wife to receive a couples massage but wish I had schedule somewhere else. The manager at the front was not very friendly or helpful and came across as impatient. Still we wanted our massage and thought the masseuse they would be good but was very disappointed. I highly believe they did not know what they were doing as it felt made up and painful at some points. Sadly I could’ve lived with all of this if it wasn’t for the ending. As we got dressed as was leaving the room, both women stood outside the door waiting for us to tip them. As the service wasn’t welcoming and the massage was bad, we did not expect to tip much so I gave the ladies $5 each which I believe is more than they deserved. Immediately one of them grabbed a sign and started reading saying we had to give them minimum $8 each. That made me immediately upset as tipping is a gift and not a must. For them to block our exit and demand a specific amount of tip for bad service is not acceptable. I will never visit this business again and I do not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money, your significant other, child or mall massage chair can do a better job.

Came here a year ago and we had an amazing massage and we were treated very nicely therefore we decided to come once again. This time none of the same people were there. As soon as we came in the man at the front made us read a little thing about tipping, “it’s not mandatory but courtesy to tip 8-10...” So fine whatever they might not always get tipped i get that. The man mentioned he had his best masseuse here so excited we went in. The whole thing was just meh at best. Honestly my boyfriend could have done a better job. They didn’t ask about how hard or soft they should go. And it seemed rather fast. When we were leaving we tipped the girls I didn’t have the full $8 but I wasn’t all that pleased with the massage so I just gave the cash I had which was $5. The woman then prompted pointed me to the sign. Note: I understand they make their money off of their tips but it’s not mandatory, they specified that, I gave something as opposed to nothing to be nice. When I told the woman I had no cash she brought the owner out! Whatever I left a tip on card, but honestly don’t recommend this place at all.

I booked the Groupon for two 90 minute massages. A friend and I were put in a room together. Her masseuse didn’t know any English, not even the word “harder” when she asked her to massage harder. We both thought the masseuses had little to no knowledge of muscles per se because most of our massage was like a glorified back rub. When I asked my masseuse to go harder she did, but also went faster, which was not relaxing. Very sweet ladies but I will not return for another “back rub.”

Visited this place with a few people and the service was very unprofessional. We did not receive the entire package of what we paid for, they didnt thoroughly give us the complete massage, and when I tipped my lady she rudely shoved it back into my hand and told me it wasnt enough because she didnt know how to count. As far as I am aware, tips are according to the service that you receive not mandatory. I gave her what was suggested. The owner/manager seems very harsh as well! I was very disappointed as I have been coming here for years and I know what services to expect.

I got a 70 minute massage with lavender oil and it was not worth my money. The lady who did my massage did not know what she was doing and they used some weird oil instead of the lavender oil. After the massage section was over, I went upstairs asking for a receipt and the guy/owner was so rude. He didnt want to give a receipt and he had an attitude... and he was like whatever.I will never come back to this place again.

I love Helen, she gives great massages but the guy that runs the place is an ass****, hes rude, doesnt know how to treat customers. And $10 tip for an hour massage is a MUST, took a 2 hour massage and he gently reminded me that the tip was $20 so if you dont have cash, take out the credit card, I dont mind tipping the masseuse but him? He needs to learn some manners

My friends and I scheduled a massage to celebrate Mothers Day. We had a good experience during the massage even though they cut short the massage time by 10 min. The horrible experience happened when we went to pay and they charged us 20 dollars instead of the 15 dollars they had advertised. Since my friends were gifting me a massage, I got caught out of guard abt the tip and I only had 4 dollars. When I gave the 4 dollars to the masseuse she threw the money down in front of me in order to check how much I was tipping and said that I HAD TO GIVE 5 DOLLARS TIP MINIMUM.

We love this place and make the drive because it is worth it! The 1 hour foot massage is the most relaxing thing EVER. They do your whole body and it is a great stress reliever. The FULL BODY massage is AMAZING ! ! ! ! Where else can you go for $40.00 and get an entire full body massage with oil, where they actually work out the knots and kinks???I have had massages at Amadeus and Glen Ivy and neither were even close to the massage I received at Harmony and this was 1/3 the price. Of course they didnt offer me champagne, but after that massage who needs it ! ! !

My wife and I attended Harmony Spa. They honored our Groupon. We had the 60 minute body massage and were in the same room. They were very cordial and nice and provided excellent service. We enjoyed our visit and would love to go back. The ambience was soooo relaxing!

I have been going to Asian massage parlors consistently on and off for 15+years, Ive had Thai massages, very expensive sonoma/sf fancy spa day massages, Swedish, deep tissue, shiatsu massages .. heylen (hi-len) gave me the best full body massage I have ever had, hands down. I didnt give her any direction, went after work, rushed because I got off late, and I didnt even have to ask to have a decent amt/ equal amt of lower body to upper .. which no one ever does, but Im a nurse, Im on my feet all day, my glutes and legs need just as much as my back, theyre all connected and if the lower body stays tight, the back wont improve much, no matter how much massage it gets .. my god, she even brought in hot stones and finished my back/glutes/quads off with hot stones, just amazing for what I figured was going to be just a basic full body massage at the only place still open with an open appt when I got off work late. mind blown. this is my new spot and heylen is my new masseuse .. they even have nice, high quality oils .. just a beautiful pleasure, I am so happy because Ive needed to get back into massages, but because of covid, my old place, and everywhere else closes much earlier than they used to .. I only went here because they were open the latest and had an appointment, but now Ill be going weekly .. thank you random chance and later hours than everyone else for bringing me to harmony spa!!!!

Recently had a massage here with Wah as my masseur. Really pleasant experience here, Wah worked out my back, shoulders, and neck really well within the 1-hour full body massage timeframe. They use bio freeze and hot stones which really help with the therapeutic aspect of the experience. Thank you guys~EDIT:Came back here again today for a 90-minute massage. My massage therapist for my session was “Mike” - he was so pleasant and professional. Although there was a little language barrier, he checked in periodically on whether the pressure was good. His massage was very relaxing and had good pressure where it needed to be 10/10 - thank you Mike for a wonderful experience! Will be coming back to request you next time :)

Me and my husband went for a couples massage. We got put into separate rooms, the service was BAD. They rushed the massage. We were not going to tip as service and massage was bad for both me and my husband. As we were leaving they blocked us in and demanded a tip. We expressed we had no cash on us, so they put the card machine in our face.A tip was not given willingly.

Loved the hot stones on my feet but it was hard to unwind and relax with so much chatter & street noise. The towel that was used felt used...and old. The face hole needs the cushion. Silk sheets felt weird too. Maybe I got used to the one I usually go to but I wont be coming back here. I rather pay more for a tranquil, relaxing place. Oh and someone was watching us... I am going to assume he was supervising but that was creepy.

Went on a LivingSocial deal. It was a nice massage. I dont get massages often. The receptionist who escorted me told me only to take my top off, then the masseuse came in and told me to take my pants off too. It was a private room. The 60 min whole body massage does not include your feet. I dont believe I received the biofreeze treatment that I signed up for, which i was told afterward is like a tingling menthol lotion they use. The oil/lotion that was used did not produce a tingly sensation or menthol smell during the massage so I dont think I received the treatment, bummer. The hot stones were nice. Pictures of hot stone treatment show motionless stones placed on the back but my masseuse used the hot stones as tools to massage the upper back muscles. There was a bit of a language barrier with some of the staff which prevented me from clarifying the bio freeze issue before the massage was over but everyone was very nice and it was an overall good experience.

For a 60 min $15 foot massage, this is quite an amazing deal. The massages are very satisfying. Ive been here enough times that Ive been debating about getting a membership. Well worth your money for a great massage.

Horrible. Customer service is the pits. Three of us called for an appointment at 9:30 PM. We were on our way when the owner called and changed it to 10:00 PM. We arrived at 10 min. to 10:00 PM, and the person at the front desk said he needed to change it to 10:30 because they got very busy!! He called the owner who said, sorry. Apparently more people walked in, so they had no problem bumping us several times. The people who walked in were Asian. Not a good experience, especially since we have been going there about once a week for several years. Not planning to return after tonight. Luckily for us, there are a lot more fish in the ocean.

Get yourself an hour long foot & body massage for a great price. This place is a Jewel in Monterey Park. Make a half-day of it grab some dim sum or some dumplings and the get a massage here. Its cash only. if youre going for the foot massage make sure that you wear loose-fitting pants.

They steal 5-15 minutes of the time . I recommend for anyone to go to Emperor Leisure Day Spa in San Gabriel . The masseuse don’t even go out from the room to get towels or stone or get and take a bucket of water. It’s expensive too. Not worth it.

Unprepared. Appt. for two (celebrating a bday) & 1 person present who cud not communicate. They did not understand how to process the Groupon. 20 mins later, someone else arrived to speak to us, then rudely told us that we wud need to reschedule because it would interfere with there next appointment. And basically walked us out.

This place gives a good massage equal to places that charge 100 for the quality ask for anna different girls give different quality massages if you get a good massage give the girl 20 dollars I always do because they work hard this job is not easy, best place Ive found weeding through at least 30 different ones in 2020/21

What can you say.....an hour massage for $15. Sometimes you get what you pay for. But not in this case. At this rate you can actually have better health because you can afford getting a massage every week!! Now, I just need the time.

If you want a $20 foot massage that covers all of your body as well as some slight usage of hot stones for an hour this is definitely the place to go

I find the staff here really rude but when the Harmony Day Spa on West Garvey is full- I sometimes come here. Dont expect good customer service but expect an okay massage for $20.

First Massage experience, so not much to compare to. But introduced by friends who are regulars and I have to say I am a believer!Price, professional, friendly, clean.

The spa has been closed for quite a long time due to damage in the kitchen. Its my favorite place to go. The San Gabriel place is not as nice. Wish theyd hurry up and reopen.

The boss didnt even know that his employees here didnt know how to massage, and I doubt that the person who massaged me didnt have a licensed technicians technique. Its impossible to have a license. He didnt even know where his shoulder blades were. It seemed like he just picked up a massage from a random person on the street. It’s very unprofessional and not as comfortable as me pressing it myself. After thinking about it for a long time, I feel it is necessary to comment on it from the perspective of consumers to prevent other consumers from being harmed.

This is my first time being caught by an experienced hand! It feels good...So the second time tonight... ended up sending a newbie... I was in so much pain. Give me cold water for soaking my feet... The skin on my neck is bruised... The horses skin is red and swollen. I scratch it all over and dont even know the basic Fengchi point... Its just a taste. Go hard on my bones... I gave him 10 yuan not to encourage him... but to ask him to spend money to study first... The more he thinks about it, the angrier he becomes... I wont go there anymore! Sucks...

This is the worst massage experience I have ever had in my life. The technician doesn’t know how to massage at all and doesn’t even know when he’s pressing on the bones. The boss actually told me that the technician has been doing this for 7 years. This is so irresponsible to the customer and a complete lie. The money made me angry. I felt like I was being cheated.

My pressing skills are really bad, I won’t want to do it again! I was in a bad mood when I came to travel! 😔😔
