This has always been one of my favorite hangouts. However, the food quality has been declining. If the blt boasts of bacon piled high, I expect more then 1 piece cut in half. Also the new fries are garbage.

I love the patio! They have bands at night and the patio is lit up so nice and its just a wonderful place to eat in the summer

Don’t go here unless you feel like giving your money away, they turned a $2 tip into a $10 tip on an $11 bill that consisted of the bartender turning around and grabbing 2 cans out of the fridge, left $13 total, they charged me $11 + $10 for a total of $21August 11th / Night of the 10th

I suppose like many places, they seem understaffed. We had to hunt down a server to take our order after sitting there for 15 mins. ( Bartender finally came over to help us after we inquired about who had our table) Then had to do the same thing when we were ready to Cash out. I wouldnt be surprised if they had a lot of walk outs.

First time here. Sat on the patio, had some drinks and listened to the live music. Would recommend

I stopped in last night for my first time out since pre-Covid…I love it..vast music selection, great drinks..literally the best Long Island iced tea I’ve ever had..everyone was super friendly and answered any questions I had..security/ bouncers were always present and super respectful…I definitely will be back …thanks for the great night ❤️

Kitchen only had one cook (told prior) but it still took a little over 2 hours to receive our food (a few appetizers) our server/Bartender (male) was fantastic, kept checking in, apologizing, even gave us some free drinks for the wait. The food was delicious! The live music was fun! Hopefully they get their kitchen staff issue figured out!

If youre looking for an amazing Rum Runner look no further. They are absolutely delicious! The place has seating indoor and outdoor. They have live music with a stage area on most weekend (check schedule). Their food is good but sometimes not worth the value and its a hit or miss with the staff but if you pack you patience its definitely a place to check out!

It,s kinda of different from when I visited a while ago,just went there last Friday 8-16-24 dont know if the Restaurant was closed this day,but could not order food unlike when I went in previous times, there where a whole different bartender staff, the prices for drinks has changed,17$ for a drink I ordered Hennessy,I know its Hennessy but 17$ was pretty expensive in my opinion,but the ambiance is pretty cool,but my over all options, probably wont be going bk anytime soon!!!! Came out here on a Thursday night. Ive always heard Alot about it, but finally had the opportunity to come check it out. It was pretty busy for a Thursday night I thought and they even had a live band going. We ordered drinks and food at 7pm. We were told that it might be slow since they only had a single cook that evening so I figured it might be a little bit extra of a wait. Our food did not arrive at our table until 9pm. The bartender was fantastic and bought us a few drinks for our trouble. Overall it was a pretty good time. Id be willing to go back and give it another try, hopefully theyll have more than one cook this time.

I loved this bar, always had a great vibe, the bartenders were great and always attenitive even while it was crazy busy and interact with the customers. I just recently came here to have a good time and lift my spirits. It was dead and so was the staff. They drank and were on their phones the entire time. I miss Billy, Ashley, and Meghan. They were always there and brought the great crowd. Come Back!!!

My friend and I arrived around 8 last night. Always had such great service and such a great time but not last night. We ordered our drinks and waited 30 minutes to order our food,another 30 minutes to find out our order hadnt been placed. We asked for our bill extremely irritated and they waived that expense. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional and if we come back our experience will be reiterated only to prove a point,that being we were overlooked and it will never happen again.

Im part of a running group that comes in on some Tuesday nights and i dont know if the blonde girl is new,but she was the sweetest! Nobody ever comes over and waits on us. We always feel like we have to come to the bar...Almost like an inconvenience. Nobody ever acknowledges us with a smile thats for sure. Anyways, the blonde girl with the pink top really made us feel comfortable and welcome.. We almost stopped coming after our run. Thank you. We appreciate good service! She said her name but I cant remember lol

Nice looking place!! inside But the security is rude and there are so many of them it’s like your in the worst place on planet earth. if you ask a question your treated like a second class citizen and don’t do anything like go in a wrong door. they will be on you like you have a gun charge a 5 dollar door cover no problem with me but they forget to mention they close before 2am and when they announce last call don’t buy anything because you won’t have time to drink it im serious they rush you right out the door I won’t be returning and I hope this helps who ever reads this don’t waste your time and money I’m serious I’ve never seen a worse circus any where in my life

Used to be sweet. Rather lame now. The bouncers were very unwelcoming and rude to start the experience. I’m sure the beers were expensive. Then the atmosphere was ehhh. I’d rather go to a dive bar.

Overall nice place in downtown Mt. Clemens. I wasnt very impressed with the service. The first bartender I went to order a drink from was helpful...at first... after I finally got her attention. There was a bit of a misunderstanding due to another bartender or manager asking me if I needed help. I told him I was already being taken care of, I was just waiting for the girl to bring me my drink(which she had to go to the inside bar for the ingredients), she walked up while I was telling the guy this and she got a serious attitude and started in on me with, I told you Id get it!. I gave her a few choice words and went into the other bar, where a very nice young lady took care of our order while basically getting chewed out by another guy for some unknown reason. Id have left there immediately if it werent for my buddys funeral crowd meeting there. Myself, Ill probably never go there again. I hate to give a place a bad review,but my experience there wasnt very pleasant, except for the bartender inside. Maybe the employees were just having a bad night? Nonetheless, they work in the service industry and probably shouldnt if they treat their customers that way. Again, my only real issue was with the first bartender, but the overall vibe wasnt good.

Outdoor fire pit is nice.Drinks can be a bit pricey and Ive had both good and bad service on a night where they were not busy 🤷🏼‍♂️

We were treated like regulars from the minute Wes opened the door. Our bartender Ashley was great..ice cold beer and sharp sense of humor. And the bar and especially the restrooms were spotless.. plenty of TV s for the March madness fans. .didnt get food..yet! We did see a lot of food going out and looked good. All around positive experience. Can hardly wait for summer and the patio n Tiger games! Thanks Madisons. happy to find a local pub thats above average but keeps the fun.

I guess new owner. Been going there for years never a problem. Had conversation at bar with 4 dudes. One follows me into the bathroom and ask, do I have a gun on me. His friend told him. Told him to get tf on. Talked to owner and he wouldn’t even allow his workers to verify I never said that and I’ve been there for years. The guys were racist and the owner. I’ll never set foot in there again. Ridiculous

Staff is absolutely amazing!!! As soon as I walked in I accidentally dropped my id and it fell right through the floor boards. The manager, bartender and many of the other staff members took their time to help me get it out! Amazing drinks and good vibes, definitely will be coming back.

Honestly the food here is meh at best. The live band last night was absolutely terrible. When we were able to hear the vocals, they were terrible. The female singer was only slightly easier to hear during Barracuda. The drums and guitar sounded alright, but it seemed like none of the bands members were really into performing for this one. Low energy, and even fewer smiles.We really only went here because OHallorans was closed.

This Place is a vibe for me when the entertainment is there which is the only time I attend to this pub. While with my family one night I decided to order a side of fries. Our waitress ASHLEY (red head) had a horrible attitude and tone when I asked about what was on the fries? Her responses were quick and nonchalant! Turned out, hidden valley ranch seasoning was on the fries that has buttermilk in it. (After doing my research because I’m vegan) cause Ashley had no knowledge. Therefore I let her know what was in it for future references if anyones else asks, ASHLEY did not acknowledge it and brushed me off as if I was bothering her. Oh & brought out ranch that no one asked for 🥴 (it’s not vegan) but me being black I guess that’s what she assumed! Her attitude made me never want to go back. I dont care about the fries at that point because the services was unpleasant while with my family. They were disturbed by her behavior as well! I’ll be sure to not sit a the table she works on. Thank you to the “manager” that brought my new batch of fries with a better attitude cause ASHLEY knew she was not welcome back to our table with that nasty attitude! Thanks!

I loved this bar the first time I came and was so excited to return. However we arrived here, and walked in, no one behind the bar, and only one guy sitting at the bar.No one said a word to us when we walked in after standing there awkwardly for a few minutes the man at the bar removed his shirt and walked into the kitchen leaving us standing in this bar alone.Very confusing situation, open sign was on, and if they were preparing to close all they had to do was say so.Im very impartial on this place and dont know if I want to return.

Really cool outside bar. Drinks are always good and always a good people watching spot. Be careful with the food. I had three day food poisoning as well as two others I was with after eating some of the fried food. It wiped me out! Other than that. Its a fun time!

I thought his voice was very good, but thought he was faking playing the guitar initially. Outdoor seating is nice because there are plenty of umbrellas to help block the sun. Outdoor area seems like it would be fun on a Fri/Sat night with the lights and the fire pit! Theyre using all plastic/paper plates and utensils at the moment so it was nice knowing that cups were not used throughout the day...

My friend had a going away party on a Tuesday night and our server had a really nasty attitude. I thought we were a pretty chill crowd. Only a few of us ordered food and we all ordered drinks. It was my first experience there and I most likely wont go back. There are plenty of bars in Mt. Clemens that have friendlier servers and better atmosphere.

The patio is enormous! Live music really brings this place to life on the weekends. Bar is half submerged underground which is kind of cool and several fire pits. Food Is decent and drinks are exceptional.

Well kept premises. Reasonably priced food and beverages. Generally very pleasant service. Fri & Sat evening for a very young crowd. Indoor, outdoor & upper balcony bars. I recommend you stop in & judge for yourself. My favorite: Cobb Salad with chicken. Likely freshest and most generous portion Ive had in a long time. Enjoy

I went to this bar, and was extremely put off. The bartender wasnt friendly, although the site advertises drink specials, none were offered to me. She was on the phone the entire time pacing back and forth. A gentleman behind me waited for 11 minutes to pay his tab. The bar was not busy, it was three pm on a Wednesday.The crowd was also not what I expected from the description of the bar. Besides my myself, the youngest person in the bar was mid-40s at best. Perhaps I went on an off day. However, based on the lack of service I received I wouldnt visit again. I surely wouldnt recommend, more or less book any parties there. If you want to be left alone and ignored, then this is the place for you.

Very nice place Ashley and billy were so sweet to my best friend and her family only complaint! That “security guard” with the dirty pony tail doesn’t know how to talk to other adults.

Im black and have been going there for years. I know all the staff by first name and have maintained great relationships with them especially the bar manager. I think the guy tried to skip out on his tab and pulled the race card to get out of a bill. Wes is a great guy and I dont believe he spoke that word. Madisons is a fun place to go and I speak very highly of the establishment and will continue to be a faithful patron.

Despite multiple negative reviews that Ive seen, I absolutely love this place. Everyone who works here is super nice and the atmosphere is so laid back and welcoming. Its definitely one of my favorite bars to come to in Mt. Clemens. Theres nothing negative about this place and Im honestly shocked by the low rating. If youre looking for a good bar to go to for a night out or just to have a drink or two, Madisons is the place. Dont let the negative reviews scare you away.

Love the bar staff and the up to date interior. Great prices for what you receive, some places you will pay $10 for a jack and coke and not taste or feel any alcohol, here you know your getting some! Best drink is the rum runner!

Went there last night. Waited 90 minutes in line, people cut in front & security doesnt care. My friend had a fake ID & they let her in. The 2 stars are for the efficient bartenders who make potent, delicious drinks. Without them, Madisons would be -1/5 stars

I had people threaten me here, and assault me. The bartender, because they were regularsa took their side. This happened within the hour, look at the footage. They provoked it and I did not engage in their threats or when they both put their hands on me.The bartender didnt even listen to me, and told me to get out or it might be a problem. UnbelievableI posted this at around 4:30 and it happened 15-20 minutes before that.

Love this place! Couldnt believe i just seen it on the news for a bartender using racial slurs toward a patron considering i was standing right there during the so called incident. The bartender it seems had started a tab without a credit card when it came time to pay the patron noticed under the name section on his bill the bartender put black guy for a description to remember who it was. Bartender apologized over and over I definitely dont think he was trying to be offensive at all. The patron refused to pay his tab which was I excess of $80 and argued about it for about an hour. Then blatantly lied about the slur. I was stunned.. What was more surprising is they stayed another 3 hours after the fact causing trouble trying to get people fired up over blatant a lie. My mind is blown. Maybe in bad taste on the bartenders end but definitely not malicious by any means. 5 stars for service!!!

If you are a college student, or looking for a young partying crowd, youve found the place. Positive: young, dance, and party environment with indoor and two outdoor bars. Negative: extremely long wait time for drinks (+15 mins), high priced drinks (+ $18 for two drinks) and crowded. *Regardless of what youre looking for, it is an great for people watching.

I can deal with rude staff but here’s the real kicker! Me and my boyfriend came here for his birthday and I had three Bacardi and diets, he had 3/4 beers. After only three drinks I was tripping over my feet and I can hardly remember the night. I usually drink 4/5 else where and get a good buzz but this was just odd. The day after I find out 4 other people in my family had the same experience with having under 3 drinks and not being able to remember anything the next day. We do not leave our drinks unattended. Drinks in hand all through the night. Me and my entire family stand with the opinion that we were roofied by the staff and we will NEVER be visiting this establishment again.

Its awesome that they have so much seating outside in the summer, but it is pretty pricey for a beer unless it is during happy hour. Burgers were mediocre. Was kind of disappointed with that just because it was not $5 for a burger and fries - it was more like $12 or $13.

While I thoroughly enjoyed my time there (good beats, strong drinks), what I didnt enjoy was some judgmental woman recording me while I danced and enjoyed myself. How sad that some people still feel so insecure that they need to record others and make fun of them in order to feel secure. TBH, not sure if I plan to return or tell my friends about this place. I prefer non-judgemental fun.

Food was ok. Nothing special seemed like frozen GFS fries\ chicken tenders\cheese sauce. Not worth what we paid for it.Loved the outdoor patio but as were not heavy drinkers with the menu its not likely wed be back.

Love the fact that they have live music and a great patio bar. It does get really busy on weekends around 10pm and hard to get drinks but still a great atmosphere. Perfect for those going in a group to have a good time.

Nice patio, but disappointed that the servers are wearing their face masks as chin guards, both when delivering food and when taking orders. management not enforcing this apparently....as the manager was running around with his bandana down around his neck. also not following any capacity limitations during Covid-19. waiting for it to be the next tinder box of outbreak. will find alternative places using safer practices while handling food and taking orders.

My husband and I went to Madisons in Mount Clemens after the fireworks it was Thursday night and there still was a cover which was $5 they werent really that packed there wasnt too many people in there we ran into my daughter in-law and her three friends we had a great time the atmosphere was awesome

The place had its open lights on but we went in and it no one was around no workers or anyone. Only person we saw just went into the backroom and never came back out or acknowledged us. Very weird and uncomfortable vibe, will not be coming back to an environment like this

First time here and I was pretty impressed tbh. I came with my wife so I obviously wasnt looking to pick up any hotties... However, if I were single and a decade younger, this is absolutely where Id go!! Fair prices, friendly staff, huge area, you can drink in the smoking area - stop reading reviews if youre trying to figure out where to go at night, just go to Madisons.

Had a great lunch. Fast service and truly yummy lunch specials. I had the Pesto Burger which was scrumptious. The Iced Tea is decent and their homemade salt and pepper chips are really crispy too

Our server was great and the wings were good. But the lady who wears sunglasses behind the bar, needs to stop with the attitude. I spent 10 minutes waiting for her to help me for lottery then to just give me an attitude.

Great atmosphere during the summer. Feels a little cramped during the winter, especially when the back half of the interior is closed off. Strong drinks, but the price always seems to vary a little. Dollar off happy hour during the week.

SCAM! A friend and i got a couple drinks at the bar and started a tab. We then sat at a table n a waitress started to serve us , we got an app n 2 more drinks which we assumed would go on our tab.. Long story short the waitress handed us a bill n said it had nothing to do with our tab art the bar which made no sense. We ended up paying almost $200 n were still with a little buzz. When brought to the bartenders attention that we felt we payed for drinks twice she acted like we were crazy, of course... There is definitely a reason i dont go too bars anymore. I definitely got ripped off tonight!!!!!!!!

4 people for lunch and 3 of us had our order wrong. We did not complain and just ate what we got because they were short staffed and busy. I didnt get what I ordered but it was okay.

I was just informed by the DJ, while currently at the bar, they cant play hype music.l(I even offered a tip) The reason being it will get the bar hype... (Very disappointed) as a local to Mt Clemens I will be taking my business elsewhere and I suggest you do the same. The music in this place is boring and they should take a page out of a successful bars book. Play crowd pleasing music and people will dance while having a great time. Instead this environment invites a hostile and uncomfortable scene and makes for a very unenjoyable time. Try the rock room. Unless you want to listen to old played out music with an uptight crowd.

I walked in and was out with my sister to have a drink. I took my 16 year old daughter and was IDd at entry We said she dont have an ID and he asked for twenty dollars. Very upset about the service and the bribe that was asked of my child. I cant take my kid to get her food while her aunt and I have a drink. Ridiculous and wont be coming back.

Best heaters/setup given whats going on for outdoor regulations. Staff wears masks, and masks are needed to get in. Still have to button up as it is cold but thats kinda just how it is everywhere now.

The Oberon they had on tap did not taste fresh and I couldnt even drink more than a few sips.The bartender was also rude about getting our DD some water.

As a former employee of this bar I can assure you that Wess is not a racist person. They employ many people who are all different races and the fact that all of these jokers are now saying that the bar that has been there since the 90s is racist is a joke. Great place to hang out. Geeat place to host a party. Great patio, great live entertainment all summer. Wess was one of the best GMs I have ever worked under and the way he is being drug through the mudd is a shame.

We had a terrific time at Madisons on New Years Eve, everybody was in good spirits, enjoying themselves and the staff was more than accommodating, the young lady at the front gate never left her post, in freezing weather, kudos to her, just a stellar employee

Super young crowd always gets served first.... those of us that reach 25 do not get as good of service. Bathrooms are usually clean which is surprising with the flow of many patrons.

At 130am the bouncers turn to bullies. Forced to wait outside 25 minutes to go pay my bill. Had a bday party carried things to my car then tried to go in and pay tab (they had my license and credit card). Door man yelled and cursed at my wife who was dd (sober) and an easy going person. Then they were fighting in the parking lot and people were being hit that were not being violent even had their hands at their sides palms up trying to explain things . He was punched and taunted.

Only been once, and it was nothing special... Average bar. But seeing how the staff feels entitled to call patrons racial slurs, I might as well go to a Trump rally to get that kinda treatment for free. Madisons has instructed their workers to come on and lie about what took place, but Ive talked to the young lady who witnessed it and she said the black guy (as was written on his bill) was telling the truth. Its 2016 not 1916! #sad

They need lower tables for us seniors. Cant sit on those no back high chairs.

They have a nice, chill vibe. Drinks are reasonably priced, not as cheap as I like my drinks but it didnt break the bank for girls night out.

Packed to the gills. We had so much fun. Saw allot of friends we havent seen in a long time and made some new friends. More guys than girls there.

We went on a Sunday afternoon. Our server was hovering. We would let her know we were going out to smoke, but she would watch us the whole time. She also ran me down when I was headed to the pool table because she thought we were leaving without paying (even tho my stuff was still at the table...). Then we had to be moved tables to make way for a party. And when the party didnt have enough room still, we told the manager we would leave so he could have room. He said yes, please. On top of that, the food and drinks were slow and nothing special.

They have a cook working there who steals and has a criminal record. They need to do background checks on their employees! I wouldnt want my family around people like that!

Madisons is a cool place to grab a few beers and watch the game and they have decent food . On the weekends they have a pretty jamming club scene but mostly collage kids but it a good time

Great place to get a Reuben sandwich. Also one of the best bars in downtown Mount Clemens. Only down side is the bathrooms can get disgusting!

On some days its a nice quiet place to go to I went there this Saturday and it was quite busy with too many younger people not my type of place anymore no specials and their food was not that great anymore they must have changed Cooks or something

The outdoor patio and bar is spacious and has a fire pit, live music stage, and was not crowded during my last visit.

I would never go to this place...Im African American and I dont want black girl written on my receipt or I dont want to be called the n word so this tax paying citizen will keep her hard earned money and go where all is welcomed.

Fun, usually busy. Good place to meet a lot of random strangers while trying to squeeze into the bar to order a drink.

Fun place to go, whether you stay indoors, or hang on the patio. I recommend the patio. Not a bad place for lunch either.

The staff was polite. The reviews I read made me think twice but they seem to be frivolous from angry customers that were removed from bar.

Best bar in the Mt. Clemens area. The staff are good people and so is the clientele for the most part. Highly recommended.

The security puts their arm on your shoulder and pushes you out of their way. Most beers on tap are empty by 11pm. First time here and last time here.
