Jess did an amazing job with my highlights! She took my over grown light brown hair and gave me a seamless sun-kissed blonde with no damage or brass. She gave me an awesome haircut too where she cut it to give me more volume to my fine/thin hair. The building is super cute, unique and everybody there has an awesome vibe. I rescheduled a touch up before I left and I cannot wait to go back. If youre on the fence, dont be! You will be well taken care of there!

SILVERY ELF HAIR! Had a tough bleach and tone on my long hair with extremely overgrown roots. Becca tackled it confidently and professionally and made my OCD stress-ball self feel comfortable the entire time. Some difficult yellow tones persisted and she had me in immediately to touch it up and repair it, free of charge. Perfectionist approved!
Megan did a fantastic job for her first short-style haircut (with Jess as coach). I’m hoping she will be my new stylist!! Everyone at the salon was super friendly!! Thank you tor a wonderful experience 😊

I have been getting my lashes filled for 8 years at Chaos and would NEVER go anywhere else. I have bounced around for my hair to a couple different salons because I have multiple friends that work at different places and I try not to write reviews because I don’t want to hurt anyone else’s feelings. However, I have to say that I went in for a complete hair makeover the other day with Jenn and I am absolutely in love love love love love with my hair! Chaos will take care of all your needs at once: Lashes, hair extensions, cut, color, eyebrows permanent makeup/microblading, full body massage, facials…… This is the place for you. You will not be disappointed! 💕💕

I have not been terribly impressed lately with my service , everyone seems nice enough , but there was a lack of focus on me each time iv gone (its been 3 times now ) I had my lashes done a few days ago, and they were not prepped before lash application - I normally clean my lashes with the cleaner I got my first service , but did not do that the day of reapplication, figuring that the stylist would do it , she did not. I know she is pregnant, and I can understand not having a perfect service due to that - I was excited to try something different go more bold and she basically gave me the same as last time , saying that she kept it dimensional. I still like them dont get me wrong. The first application there was a kid that was allowed to roam free through out the lash room, constantly interrupting my service,asking questions etc, no one seemed to think this was odd. Also when the lash techs sneeze neither rif them stop to wash their hands, my first application my tech did this , then during reapplication the lash tech working next to her did this, this so not sanitary. My hair is another story, I had some severe breakage after getting highlights ( not the stylist fault my hair is fragile and Im working on not putting it up ) but the stylist did not seem interested in helping my hair get better, a deep conditioner was recommended the last time , but when it came to shampooing the assistant did it - and it was not offered or brought up again..... I did not feel like a priority , which is sad , the whole appeal of the salon is promoting women, and everyone seems friendly enough..... Its such a bummer because I really wanted this salon to work out.
Every time I visit CHAOS, my experience is extraordinary. The girls are great, the environment is warming & my time there is more than well spent. My stylist, Chels, is beyond AMAZING!!! She is one if a kind, to say the least.

I can honestly say that the owner of Chaos is abouslty amazing and a wonder person! She really care about her customers! She went above and beyond for me. I had extentions installed and well my hair is to thin and wouldnt hold them. And she called me to ask what happened and how they can make it right! We talked about options and agreed on what could be done. AND I WILL TELL YOU SHE DID EVERYTHING AND EVERYTHING RIGHT TO MAKE ME HAPPY! I definitely will be back! This is the only salon Ive ever been to that cares if there customers are or not...The owner and staff definitely goes above and beyond for their customers.

Was super nervous to do something shorter than I’m used to. The salon was clean and decorated nice. I was given a tour. All the women were friendly and Hannah took care of me. She was a fantastic stylist. Gave me what I wanted and made sure to check all the way through to make sure. 10/10 would recommend and visit again. Hell yeah girl power!! 💕

Chaos has amazing and talented staff. Jenn coordinated my hair and makeup for a special wedding. Hannah turned my long straight hair into a sophisticated and modern updo. Jessica applied my makeup, and it was flawless. My skin felt soft to the touch. It didnt rub or cry/sweat off, and it wasnt heavy or itchy on my skin. Both my hair and makeup lasted through many hugs, a windy lake side wedding, happy tears, and a night of dancing. Thank you all!
Chaos Studio provides all the services that a spa should. It is very organized and professional. I go there for a massage with Danielle on a regular basis and she is the best. Very focused on all your aches and pains. You come out totally stress free, rejuvenated and feeling great. Highly recommended but don’t take my regular appointment time.
What a great experience. Jess is amazing. I found this studio while looking for a stylist who worked with Wigs4Kids donations and am so glad I did. The environment in the salon is so welcoming. Miko is adorable. Jess is very talented, I have super fine hair but a lot of it. She knew exactly what to do to not only get curls, but curls that stayed perfectly into the next day. Highly recommend and I will be going back!
I’m incredibly happy with my color and cut from Morgan. Not only is she fun, funny and compassionate but she listened to my ideas but helped me solidify a fantastic plan for current and future possibilities. She blended in my current color seamlessly and nailed the tone. My cut needed to be de-bulked and re-shaped, and she knocked it out of the park. I felt so good when I left! My good friend, who lives in another city, has been doing my hair for almost 25 years so it was hard to try out someone new. I sent him photos and he gave the stamp of approval!! 5 stars!!Overall my experience at Chaos has been so welcoming and comfortable. I’m so happy I found my new hair person and salon!
Such a beautiful & cool historical building!Everyone was so welcoming and happy and I feel like not a lot of places can you give you that. I saw Danielle today for a massage, she was referred to me from my nail technician. All I can say is wow! I’ve been searching for a person where I felt comfortable with and was able to relieve some of my body stress and I can tell you that Danielle went above and beyond! The massage did not feel rushed at all and she hit all the check marks, thank you so much!

All the girls do an incredible job and really make you feel like family. One of the things I love most is they are very proactive on continuing education so you always get the newest techniques. I have been going to Chaos for the past few years on and off...First off let me say, your new location is GREAT! Every visit, I have left feeling great & loving my hair! Jillian usually does my hair & never once has she disappointed! I have also had my hair done by a couple other girls who also did a great job. I have recommended this place to EVERYONE I know, since I am always being complimented on my hair ;-) I moved about 20 minutes away & I have tried other salons and never once have I left as happy as I am when I come to Chaos. Even the extremely overly priced Royal oak salons SUCK in comparison! I am actually calling tomorrow to schedule an appointment for a new hair color. I have black hair and would love to get some pastel blue and purple highlites. I would much rather drive the extra miles every 4 weeks then waste my time with these other crappy salons! I truly do LOVE this salon
I am adding this to preface the following review. After talking to the owner, who was very nice, I was given a full refund;I have a wedding to go to this Saturday. I havent had a professional hair cut in over a year. I decided to go to Chaos and spend the $50 for a short haircut because I read the reviews and thought it would be worth it and it would turn out great. I showed my stylist a few pictures and I was very specific about what I did and didnt want.The first thing she did was so wrong, there was no coming back from it. I have a round face and I keep my side(burns) long and wispy towards my face. I was explicit about leaving them the length they were, just to thin out the bulk. She cut them right off. The back isnt right after three tries. I gave up and said it was fine. My husband has done better cutting the back of my hair all during COVID.I dont know why I tipped her. Because thats the kind of person I am, I guess.I have gotten better haircuts at Great Clips for $20 with tip.I dont even want to share a photo, let alone go to the wedding on Saturday.The two stars are because everyone is so nice and the building is awesome, not because I even like the haircut a little bit.I did go to the wedding, I was very self conscious and didnt feel the least bit pretty in my beautiful dress.7 months later, there is a reply to my review that is a total lie. I was happy and joyful when I entered the salon thinking that I was going to get the best cut ever! There were no SEVEN tries. The stylist did exactly what I asked her NOT to do with the first couple of snips. I am fine with myself, thank you. I just wanted to look beautiful in my dress for my husband. Destroying my hair took that away. We can continue to go at this or you can admit that you did something wrong and leave it alone.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place & the people who work in it!! I would drive the distance to get there, no matter what it took. No more bad haircuts or color. The staff are so professional and friendly, they also are very knowledgeable and offer great advice on haircare when you need it. They make sure to explain everything along the way- right down to the tools theyre using along with the products! They understand my hair type and cut it perfectly to accentuate its better qualities. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this salon, it is truly unlike any other.
Awesome atmosphere. My stylist does a great job and the prices are fair here. You always get an awesome scalp massage when they condition. I also had my wedding party get ready here recently and everyone that was working did a wonderful job with hair and make-up.
Nikki is extremely talented and professional. She explained everything that she was doing throughout the process which made me less anxious about the big change I was going for with my hair. I knew that what I wanted was probably not going to be achieved in one day. Nikki left me with a BEAUTIFUL “transitional” color that I am in love with. I was nervous that I was going to have to deal with the ugly transitional phase until I could come back. Also, I love the setting of the salon. I loved everything about my experience.
Today was my second visit, and once again I was not disappointed. I loved what Chelsey did with my hair. The styling totally stayed in place the entire day, and I actually still had pretty hair at dinnertime. This will be my go-to gal/place for maintenance in between my regular chemical relaxer service. Very pleased!
I just left this place after coming for the first time and I AM IN LOVE. Roya absolutely killed it and I can’t thank her enough. My confidence is at a all time high, she’s absolutely amazing! Talked me through everything, let me know what was going to be best for my extremely damaged hair and I walked out with exactly what I imagined and so much more life to my hair! My first appointment I made a major change to the cut and color and I have never had so many compliments! What Jeanelle gave me that day was more than a haircut: she gave me confidence and I have been coming back to her ever since. Its got some funky design elements throughout that kind of make me wish I could hang out there all day. I cant say enough great things about Erin. Ive been going here for hair cuts, dye, updo hairstyles, wax, for a few years now. Jeanelle always does my hair perfect! My mom also comes here & sees Jeanelle& Jen. All the girls are so welcoming & nice.
I have put off doing this review for a while now, because I was conflicted but I feel like I need to. I have been to this salon multiple times throughout the past few years, and I have never really had perfect results there, but it’s really close to my house and they have good products so I kept going back. This past time I just decided enough is enough. After spending $280 at this salon a few weeks ago and basically having my hair damaged to hell and not the color result that I wanted, I will never be going back here. One side of my hair is now about a half inch shorter than the other (which I actually mentioned to the stylist and she said it was just how she curled it) and my ends are completely fried. I sent an email to the owner and she offered me a free conditioning treatment... really after spending $280 on one visit you’re going to offer me a $25 treatment? What a slap in the face. I do not recommend this salon and that’s coming from someone with a background in cosmetology.
I have never gone to a salon that had a better atmosphere. And not only did I feel the prettiest Ive ever felt in my life after getting my hair done, I had so much fun being there. Ive never met a better group of girls that just absolutely love what they do.

Kind employees. Quality work but Expensive. The studio live up to the name Chaos. Color station in the middle doesn’t make you feel like a valued client. The sink and mixing station is out for all to see. Stuff cluttered every where. Not a relaxed setting that I expected. Paying high prices I don’t want to see that.Hoped for an expert color consultation about a long term plan to go natural. Not a very creative response for a place I went to specifically because of the reviews on color.

I was a little nervous going to the salon for the first time since Covid but when you walk in they have you sanitize your hands and take your temperature. Everything is wiped down after someone sits there. So that made me feel better. Then Chelsey did my hair....it is the best cut and highlights I have ever had. I explained my idea and she gave suggestions and I love it. I will definitely be back
