Poor service. The aesthetician was rude and offended me, which made me give up the treatment without even trying it.Plus they charged my card twice, I asked for the refund in person, by email, and by phone, it was a nightmare dealing with this place. They didn’t contact me back, so I needed to contact Amex to go over this. Very disappointed.

Came in for lip enhancement. Getting an appointment in was so easy through Lisa, front desk was friendly at check in, and Paula the NP is amazing! She listens well to all concerns and was able to make the experience comfortable and reassuring. You can tell she loves what she does and she does it with a passion. I’m very picky with what I want and used to have a go-to spot back home so it was tough finding a new trustworthy place in the city, but now I have my new favorite :)

I regret that I wasted 6 sessions with them.Finally got my last one. Never coming back. First of all they burned!! my skinand left white marks for 6 months!!! on my arm. When they did it, I was trying to contact them but they didnt care and receptionist told me that they will contact the owner but it never happened. After 2 days of waiting I uploaded my pics on Yelp and Google, right after my review they called me, asked me to take off the picture because Im damaging them business and the girl was trying to tell me that I have a self tanning and that Im lying about the burn. I came to the salon and they looked at my arm and confirmed that its a burn. They gave me a refund. After 6 months this marks still were on my arm and I finally met the owner to ask her about that. She was unbelievably rude to me and to her workers. Everybody was telling me I cant tan bc its gonna make it worse. I went to Miami, after 2 days of tanning my skin got fixed and had an even color.Second of all This is my second place where I was doing my laser treatment.First place I went to gave me very good result after 7 sessions, but on one of them they burned my tattoo and left a mark, so after I finished my package I didnt come back.So since I had 7 sessions already, I wanted to have 5 more to UAV the best result. Hair should be complete gone after 12! Sessions.So after I got 5 treatments I waited 2 months and I had the same!! result on my skin after 12 sessions as I had in a previous salon after 7!!

Im currently doing a full body laser hair removal (12 session). Im on session 2 and Im already seeing great results. Ive work with Gulya and shes the best. Very attentive to detail and comforting as well - seriously the best service! So far this experience has been life changing and I highly recommend. Its not painful especially if you get regular waxes.

Staff was amazing and friendly. I had a later appointment but was traveling from Milford PA. I called to check in and make sure I was going to the right place before my appointment time. They were so great at the front desk and got me in earlier. The office was gorgeous clean made me feel really comfortable I made the right choice. ❤️ I was nervous because this was my first time getting lip filer but Paula the nurse I got was amazing comforting and very informative of what to expect. She answered all questions and even was available if after the appointment I had any concerns. My lips look amazing and it was a great first time experience I will definitely be coming back!

This post is from my wife (Maham), who has been using this place for few treatment now and as per her, this is one of the best places that one can get laser hair removal specially if you get the session from Cinaya. She is amazing and really takes care of client and thoroughly works on each body part and does a perfection job. Highly recommend getting her to do your session and you will not regrate it.

Went here for lip filler last week and I’m disappointed overall unfortunately. I was told there would be a consultation before as it was my first time but they rushed me through the whole thing which lead to me getting results that are poorly done. My lips look the same after one syringe, I just wish my nurse tech would’ve taken more time to ask what I was looking for. I was extremely nervous and she kept saying she understands that I’m nervous about the result but she did not listen to the actual reasons I was nervous. For over 600$ spent this is extremely disappointing. The filler also quickly migrated. Would recommend skipping this place completely for injections and finding a more qualified business.

I’ve been coming to this business since its inception, over 10 yrs ago. They’ve grown from a tiny room in SoHo to several locations. I go to the midtown location now. I have recommended over 5 friends to come here and get their laser. The people are super friendly and helpful; one of the main reasons why I keep coming back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

MANHATTAN LAZER A TRUE HUSTLE!!! Do not buy a Groupon either!. They say they would honor Groupon price. But DID NOT! Janna at the front desk needs to smile more. And she must think she’s the owner because she let me walk out with out a resolution!!! Whatever happened to the customer is always right esp in a small community like Bay Ridge. It’s embarrassing! After supporting the business and paying thousands:(So if you do go KEEP good notes and TRACK OF YOUR SESSIONS. You may go in the room and do only one section of your body for Lazer, but the technician will not log it in the computer. So the sessions add up and you will have to purchase more. In addition, probably because I didn’t get all the sessions I was entitled to for my laser HAIR removal. It also DID NOT work!!! I’ve also spoken friends and family that are also patrons that say their LAZER HAIR REMOVAL DID NOT work!! It’s hard for me to write this review because I never give a bad review. Manhattan laser is deserving of no NO STARS. A vicious circle OF LIES. If you do decide to walk in be prepared to spend thousand. I’ve spent on various sessions for my family. Front desk are hard sales “ wolf in sheep’s clothing” to say the least.. Somehow they manage to pull the bait and switch. You’ll show up PAY and they will be so NICE but once your paid up everything changes.They will either be missing a part for a machine or turn you way because you didn’t shave..As if you can’t go to the bathroom and shave!! so you will have to reschedule hand go back again. Who has time for that especially after you’ve spent so much. Very discouraging:(

Went first time to do my retouch laser on this place tbh i wasnt satisfied with the service.. i did the procedure for LHR upperlip and chin they were still few baby hairs left in the area,jawline,full neck area,my underarms the staff forgot to do the treatment she just said oh your underarm is completely fine, fullLegs she didnt laser it properly and even the toe areas too,Even on the top of my hands didnt do the laser,my full brazilian area it wasnt been laser properly specially beneath there were still few baby hairs left.. so over all i am not satisfied with the treatment. Even im coming for a retouch still treatment needs to be done properly. For this type of procedure and body parts it should take around 1.5hr and not 1hr,the way they do the laser is very quick. Even if it is a retouch still need to laser properly the areas in order to kill the target hair pigments and hair follicles. It doesnt matter if your paying the full rate of the procedure or discounted voucher. Procedure is a procedure and it must be done properly! Just saying..

I did the under arm hair removal for 6 sessions, it was pretty great experience, it doesn’t grow anymore!!! It’s totally life changing!!! Highly recommended!!! And thanks to Tatianna she gave me the best service, she’s the best!!!

I have had fillers before but never at Manhattan Laser Spa. It’s been a while, so I was nervous but asked for LILLY as she had excellent reviews and was scheduled to work the day I could be there. I had microneedling with plasma and it was amazing the first time and even better the second time.. I cant wait till the third time every time I do it my skin looks tighter and fresher and better and they do a beautiful job and theyre super friendly and I highly recommend this place. The two different ladies that did my procedure were Ukrainian and theyre fantastic human beings.

I went to two different doctors in NY and they rushed me through the treatment. The NP explained everything to me at this location took her time, and was so gently and nice!!!

This place is LITERALLY A SCAM!They promised upon making my first appointment that I can choose to cancel if I didn’t like the facilities or the service but then when I told them I wasn’t comfortable they STILL KEPT MY $50 HOLD!!!! I’m literally speechless I’ve never been robbed blind by a supposedly reputable clinic like this, I’m disgusted what a SCAM!

Paula Schuster is the most incredible injector I have ever gone to. I’ve gotten injectables by at least four people in the past—including by well known plastic surgeons—and Paula by far beats them all! In the past, I always bruised immediately and had massive bruises on my lips for at least 2 weeks. I had VERY minimal bruising for 2-3 days max. Paula treats injecting like a craft—she is truly an artist at what she does. She is so gentle, a perfectionist, educates you so you know about the process, and ensures you get the exact results. I will never go to another injector except for Paula and cannot recommend her enough!!!

Paula is the absolute best! I have been to several different places, unhappy every time. She is the first one to get my lips perfect, and I will only see her from now on!

I had a wonderful experience here with Sayana at the Lexington Ave location. She was warm, knowledgable, and thorough. She also answered all of my questions and concerns. Ive been going here for years and had several different estheticians (with both positive and neutral experiences) but will stick with Sayana from now on.

I started coming and using laser hair removal service here. I have worked with several technicians. All along good experience, nice and clean institute, all staffs are friendly, no wait time. I am also happy with the results.

As a doctor myself, I can honestly say this practice has substandard communication and poor client service. I called before even considering them and asked if neck was included with microneedling and was told a distinct “yes”. I booked the appointment a week later. I arrived and was informed by the manager would cost an extra 150 dollars to do the neck. I was not listened to and basically told I was making it up even though I described the accent of the person that and offered to tell her the time date of the conversation. The manager was very dismissive and then said she show me the price list (a moot point really considering the phone conversation)the neck was not listed separately. She called her supervisor and gave her a biased over view of my story and I was told I had to pay 150 more. I paid because I already took the time off work to come in and money was not the issue. It was a complete lack of professionalism. Not what I had been expecting. Elle did the microneedling and was very sweet and I hope my results are good. However I felt I was misled and not valued as a client. Their team should not be misquoting services and prices and should be rectifying their errors. Very disappointed. If you look I’ve never written another negative review on any business.

I enjoyed consultation because the staff was very open and concerned about what my need were. They gave their opinion of what would be the treatments to accomplish what I am hoping to see improved. I will be working with them in the coming months. Thank Sheila King.

Had micro needling w PRP. Would not recommend to my friends, the experience felt rushed and they didn’t let the numbing cream sit for long enough, it was pretty painful. While the person who assisted was lovely, the way they went over my face with the device felt disorderly and rushed, they did one side of my face once more than the other and did not ask about my problem areas at all. Results are mild and it was very difficult to contact them to schedule the appointment.

I just got my lips done today and I also got botox in my forehead for my first time ever and I absolutely LOVED it! This place is super clean, and the workers are so friendly! My nurse Kait who did my fillers and botox was great! Shes super nice and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I definitely recommend this place. I am super happy and will be going back♥️

Amanda - the person doing my laser hair removal made me wait every single time or asked me to change my appointment last minute to a different day. When I finally spoke up for being made to wait every single time despite having an appointment in advance and being on time, she purposefully used a different setting on the laser machine which made the hair on my face grow more instead of less. Now I have hair on parts of my face where I never had it. She is evil! My repeated attempts to get in touch with the manager have failed. Extremely unprofessional and irresponsible.I have faced many rude receptionists and treatment ladies at this place. This was the final straw. Please go to an actual doctor for your treatments.Also, the manager replied to me on Yelp saying that she will sue me for posting my review on Yelp.

I wouldn’t even rate this one. This is the worst laser spa. The front desk girl was extremely rude and obnoxious. She was yelling at me and was very disrespectful. The laser tech Tatiyana is very RUDE and MEAN. Tatiyana always have something to say to me. I don’t even know how this place even runs. One time she told me Asian people have thick hair and I’m Asian and I feel offended. Every time I come I feel unwelcome and they would make me to wait 20 mins even though I’m on time for my schedule.Very unprofessional!For this kind of service I will never recommend this place to anyone else.There are many places with exactly the same price and better service indeed.

I went to this spa to receive botox for the first time. I made a payment before I got there for 40 units for my forehead. When I got there she told me that if I didn’t get additional units I would feel tired and pressure in my eyes. That it was best I got an additional 30units in between my BROWS. I did not know better and didn’t want to lose my original purchase and I allowed her to scam me. She didn’t even inject the middle ofMy brows and had me buy a total of 70 units. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN DISGRACEFUL ! If anyone knows anything about Botox you don’t need 70 units in your forehead and I did not have many issues !! I’m so upset and when I reached out to her she was certain what happen was okay. This place is a scam. Be very careful !!

I seen a Groupon and I started following this place on Instagram. The work looked good and I was debating for a while if I should check it out. I recently went to get my lips done and it was awful. At first there was a problem with the prices and I wasn’t even using the Groupon. Then the nurse was very unfriendly along with the other staff. She applied numbing cream and made me wait so long it practically wore off by the time she got back. Most of the procedure was painful and I bleed quite a lot. Once it was done there was slight bruising and a day later I was completely bruised on my lower lip and below. I’ve had filler at 2 other places and never got a single bruise. I know some bruising is expected but not my whole bottom lip. Horrible job, I will NOT be going back.

I just recently started a treatment package for my Back hair. Yes I said it.I dont have a lot of it. But my wife has been here before, and enjoyed her package from over a year ago from a girlfriend.First I thought I would feel strange but to my surprise, super welcoming staff. Clean, Bright and Professional staff. Great location near the Empire state building, and all train lines.I have 3 more appointments to go in my package.And Valentines day around the corner. No hair on Back? makes for a Happy Wife!Im glad I did laser removal over Waxing, ( From the Mans point of view)

Just wanted to say I never review anything but I had to review this place. My experience was awful :(I wanted to try fillers for the first time and wanted something very natural & subtle. The RN quickly said she knew what I was looking for. She suggested I buy a full syringe of Juvéderm because half would not be enough. After getting the fillers, my lips looked bumpy and uneven but I tried to be positive and hope it would look fine once the inflammation went away. A couple days later I had noticeable hard small bumps all over my lips! Later I noticed the filler accumulated in a form of a line in my upper and lower lips! I was able to feel the accumulated filler and my friends were able to see it too. I had to get the filler dissolved and let me tell you it was extremely painful. I wanted to love this place but unfortunately I was disappointed.

This Spa is great. The staff is nice and the services are excellent. I had never been to a spa before but Manhattan Laser Spa made my first experience a good one. I used to believe that since I do not shave my body hair I do not need to go to a spa. However I did not know about the scar and acne removal services. I had some acne and scars I wanted to clear up and the treatments really helped. The staff also made the whole experience both professional and relaxing.

Nurse Paula at the 56 E 34th location did an awesome job with the placement of my Botox injections!! She is definitely and expert on the anatomy of the face. Amazing results! Please see her!

This is a great place. All the staff is very knowledgeable, professional, and good at what they do. Ive received various treatments there, and I am always happily surprised with the results. What I love most about it, is that you can tell they dont cut corners! They always have the most updated machines.

Poor quality, terrible and horrible customer service (maybe not all)I went there and bought 1cc lip filler but the nurse tried to steal my filler (0.3cc) but I caught he. Then she was really upset that she hadnt been able to steal.Then this filler disappeared from my lips after 3 weeks. I spent $ 650 ( I trying to not write bad review and trying to forget her but I have to because all filler disappeared from my lips in 3 weeks ) !!! I waisted money for nothing..Im sure the filler is fake !!!Please dont waste your money, dont go there !!!

Ahh! Where do I start.. I love love love Manhattan Laser Spa! The girls are very friendly, the offices are very clean! The bathroom is very clean. I’m on my 6th session for a Brazilian and without exaggeration I literally saw results right after my 1st session. I immediately saw less hair in that area and as session went by I’m literally not shaving at all. All hairs are almost gone! Right now (after 6th session) my hair is barely coming in. With a few more sessions my hair will never grow back! Highly recommend them to anyone that is ready to give up the wax/shaving life!

I have been coming her for over two years and while some areas results are ok if I don’t go back the hair comes back. My face is worse than ever. The hair growth is more. I am now going somewhere else to treat the area. I still have sessions left and would like a refund but that seems impossible. They burned my tattoo once and barely offered any compensation. One free session or to pay for me to get it redone. How about refunding the whole treatment. Took months to heal and area is still faded. After two plus years of multiple full body packages I am not paying all over again to start over. Not happy!

Honestly the best place I’ve been too!!!!!! It’s been 4 days and my swelling went down!!! I did 2 syringes of Juvederm ultra. At first it was very swollen but that’s because I take fish oil on a daily basis. But after 4 day’s my lips became even! The nurse Lily by the way my name is Lily as well :)))) did wonders!!!!!!!! I swear!!!!!! I didn’t have to go through surgery. She listened to me and really made sure to look at every angle to make sure everything wAs even. I felt the needle but it wS worth it!!! I have gone to Manhattan Laser Spa for touch ups. This place is extremely professional, and the facilities as well as the machines they use are always wiped down and clean. The experience at this salon has been great, the prices arent terrible, and the people are friendly. I highly recommend this salon!

This has got to be the worst experience of my life. I paid for a cool sculpting 1900.00 and was unable to attend due to Emergency. They treat you bad service and I would never or recommend anyone to visit this place. Take it from me it’s not worth your money and they are rip offs. They never acknowledged that there is no refunds. they talk to you until you pay and when you ask for a refund they say we dont do refund. They are unprofessional.

Ive been going to Manhattan Laser Spa for years, first regularly and now for touchups on several areas. Their prices are extremely reasonable, their staff is reliable and responds quickly to emails with appointment requests. I wont go anywhere else!

Visiting my boyfriend, I wanted to make sure the hair I had was taken care of. Coming to this place was heaven -- the minute I was there I knew this would be quite the experience. Its been a few months and where I had my procedures are still hairless as I wanted them. Not only are the people here professional, they act like people, and I think thats important. Come here! This place is amazing.

I go to a dermatologist on 5th Ave. I thought I’d try and save some money. You get what you pay for. Zero results from my tattoo removal session. I am not new to this treatment so I know what to expect. Would love my money back so I don’t have to resort to these types of reviews! -unsatisfied customer

I would like to give to this spa a 5 star !I totally recommend for laser hair removal since this is the service that I am doing.Staff is really friendly and they make me feel comfortable. They have the best machine is the Candella PRO with alexandrite . Alex is the most effective type of laser for light skin types with dark hair.Prices are okay but the results is what matters . I love this place ❤️

I purchased several packages this year from them spent over $2000 and this last time I waited over 2 hours to be seen. Then I was harassed by a very unpleasant secretary, Monica, for one hour that she decided to change the terms of my package when I have only 2 sessions left, she decided I am done. I explained that last time I wasnt treated (I had a large package and she spent 4 minutes with me). I had called at the time to say that and they said no problem but when I came back Monica said, no go home. I would never come back or buy a package from a company that changed the terms in middle of my package. Buyer beware!!!

I go here to get laser treatments done. Got arm pits done only took a few sessions and got bikini done as well. Hair free is the way to be! Im hairless and happy. I want to get my hairy arms done.. But Ill wait.. Not ready to breakup with my arm hair just yet... Anyway, I love this place. The prices were reasonable. They are non no- nonsense and get it done! The staff is cool too, not the friendliest but they are straightforward and Ill take honesty over pretentious any-day.... A few weeks ago I got velashape and I am back! I want more velashape. I have a few trouble areas with cellulite and I want it all gone. The first treatment I wasnt expecting any real results but boy was I wrong. I feel slimmer and this is why I am back and writing a review. Give me more velashape! I look forward to another relaxing session of velashape. Its the most amazing body sculpting treatment ever. Only thing is that sometimes it can get hot, but its expected just tell them its hot and they will move on. Beauty is pain right? Ill take a little heat over going under the knife any-day!

I was recommended to this place by a co worker i wanted to give them a try. I needed some laser hair removal for my legs,pits and arms. I was advised this was the best place to go and they are very reasonable and the service is top notch. I was very happy how nicely i was treated and the care i was given.I will be a repeat customer.

Absolutely loved everything about jade! My Botox hasn’t kicked in and my lips are swollen but the shape is perfect!

My cousin dragged me here when I said I was curious about some of these types of services, and Im so glad she did! I had never done laser or any body sculpting before, and its amazing. We both did laser and velashape, and she did coolsculpting (which looks awesome). The laser hurt a little bit and the velashape can get a little too hot, but as long as you communicate they can adjust everything. Im very happy with my results, Ill come back here next time Im visiting for sure!

I got my lips done here but I got lumps. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The girl who did my lips was monica!! So awful they are allowed to keep doing lips. Don’t trust them.

I tried to get microblading with this company through Groupon but they told me not to purchase Groupon and just pay them directly, so I paid them and then couldn’t receive the service bc the technician wanted me to see a dermatologist. My dermatologist instructed me not to get service and now they won’t give me the $315 back. I had to dispute with my crowds card company. What business is so desperate they need to steal money? I would highly recommend going somewhere else instead of these frauds

This place doesn’t even deserve a star. Horrible company went to do velashape 3 and they ruined my legs. I came out with worse cellulite then I’ve ever had. When I went to the spa they denied everything claiming it won’t get worse but it did I even have cellulite on my butt which I never had before. Beware of this place at all costs!!!’
