QOmg π± Q WAS SO MUCH FUN π€©π₯³π€©π₯³π€©I absolutely recommend definitely that as a place to go! The more men the merrier!!!!!ππππ without say good too much and to keep it appropriate itβs a place you want to go earlier with your friends dance with them drink then get lost in the crowd and see where the night leads, the multi level functions and the set up so you can have multiple themes of music for different people is so awesome I was so impressed, it does get super crowded but we love it and we know it π³οΈβππ³οΈβππ³οΈβππ³οΈβππ³οΈβππ³οΈβππ³οΈβππ³οΈβπ
Vacationing and wanted to find club that was fun based on my taste club is not really my type music is very progressive 3rd floor canβt even understand the lyrics music so loud all you hear is bass. The cover to get in is $20 Saturday wait time in line 1 hour it was gross. For my taste not worth it 2nd floor was commercial music and 1st just as bad as second floor. Little Latin room pretty jammin.
The best in the city. I would not recommend any other clubs but this one because Q has probably gay club i been to so far! A massive four story high gay club that caters to all and itβs like a department store that has different DJs and music that will suit according to your preference. I give it 10/10
Such a fun night out with my husband and new friends we met at a previous bar! Drinks were great, friendly bartendersβ¦. Music was great different rooms with different music for different vibes. Most βextraβ bathroom Iβve been in, the bathroom had its own DJ with the music bumpin. Also Billy Porter was in the house. Love him!
My friends and I went there on Saturday night. And it was the best decision ever! We thought it will be less ppl because of the storm, Henri. There were so many ppl, but it was so so much fun! The bartenders are also really nice especially IVAN! The line going on the third floor was a bit messy, but we had fun. We will definitely come back next time when Iβm town.
Save your time. This place took the comedy of the Roxbury and the fun of the party being the wait in line to get in, stripped out the camp, and unironically cranked the drama to an 11. One shouldnt need to buy tickets on Thursday to go out on a Saturday to a place where the most room to breathe can be found in the bathroom (where theres a DJ playing house?) but for which going to the bathroom also requires you give up your spot on the dance floor and potentially forcing you to wait half an hour to get back in.
Expansive three level club space that seems to offer something for everyone. Drag shows on the first floor, dance music on the second, and a larger dance floor with some killer lighting effects and music on the third. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fun. Had a blast!
Me and a friend went to the Q this past Thursday. Our experience started off amazing, the bartender was very nice. We were there for happy hour which was very nice, prices were reasonable. Happy hour ended and we asked for some shots, the bartender never asked us what kind of liquor we wanted so I assumed he was going to do house tequila. I am a bartender as well and I always ask what kind of liquor they would like! So, he didnβt ask what kind of liquor and to my amazement we were charged $16 per casamigos shot. I donβt know about you, but that seems a little ridiculous to me. If I asked for casamigos then I would have understood, but we never said we wanted casamigos and for him to assume we wanted this expensive shot is insane! He tells me itβs going to be $190, I think he felt bad after he saw my face and then said itβs going to be $160. My only mistake was not saying something there and then. I think it is safe to say this will be my one and only time visiting this establishment. If you are going to this establishment, make sure you are very specific on what you would like.
The rooms are too small, impossible to dance, except for the third floor. Not worth the $25 ticket or the $6 bottle of water. The bartender was rude, and the dancers were not sensual or charismatic. One of the restroom stalls had no light at all, completely dark. It was quick to get to coat check, and the music was good. I do not recommend it.
Really enjoyed my first experience at the Q but the second was nothing like the first. More than 40+ people got their phone/wallets stolen on the third floor within an hour and a half. Spy belts/phone chains needed. Front door staff, tall bald man and short curly haired women were extremely rude about the manner and were not transparent about what was being done. Management was helpful in explaining what was being done.
My husband and I decided to check this place out while in Times Square for the first time and it did NOT disappoint! The drinks were AMAZING thanks to Johnathan! He also gave us some good tips on where to get great food and night life. We enjoyed the comedy show upstairs too! I donβt think weβve laughed that hard in a long time. So glad we ended up checking it out and we will definitely be returning!
I liked that thereβs different rooms. It was fun time. I took a friend from out of town and we had a good time. It was a weekday so it was a bit slow, but it was just nice to check it out. Theyβre free before a certain time. The $20 cover isnβt worth it. On weekends thereβs always a long line since theyβve opened. Just not really my vibe.
Iβve been going to club Q since they open but the security there keeps getting worse. I never been in any other bar or seen a security so rude, ruthless, strict and low key homophobic. I was drinking water last night no alcohol. Security grabbed my arm with force and kicked me out. I have a bruise in my arm and I still donβt understand what happened. I think he confused with me with someone else but when something like this happens at the Q thereβs no talking with them. I asked for my $25 dollar refund but they sure kept the money.
I was there the 3rd time and again it was really bad night. Music was awful. Bartenders are rude and racists. Drinks were way too expensive in a small plastic cup. All the positive comments are from either ownerβs friend or staff member, their friends. This club doesnβt deserve 5 star at all. Wish there was an option to give 0 βοΈ
The bartender tried to literally steal from me.I ordered a drink and the bartender misheard me, he brought me white claw instead of white wine.I told him that I asked for wine and he brought me a glass of wine as well. Then he came with the payment machine and tried to charge me for both.I told him I only ordered the wine and he tried to fight about it, saying that he already opened the can of white claw. After a shameful back and forth he agreed to remove the white claw.He pretended to click a few buttons on his machine and asked for my card.I asked to see that he actually removed it first, but of course he didnt. I had to just walk away. This is not being rude, this is a criminal offence.
We usually stop by after a couple of drinks but last Wednesday night, 6/8 was fire! It was packed with great energy & vibes!! The moment we stepped in, the crowd was on fire. Shout out to that DJ Josh, he was killing it! Hope to see him play music again soon.
The bartenders sucked. They disappeared all the time, and were busy with listening to the music and dancing with themselves. One almost lost my credit card and was even ignorant about it and acted stupid. So weird. Considering the location and interior design, this place should easily get a five star listing. It does not. So, there is for sure something wrong with this place. I went here just because of it being new. No reason to return.
The first night we went it was about 3am. Cover was $25 each. Somewhat busy. Didnβt care for the DJ in the bathroom. Everyone was waiting for the stalls because nobody wanted to use the urinals so long lines. There was a line to change floors, which was annoying if you were with people in different floors. Second night we came earlier and the experience was awful. There were three lines: reentry and βguest listβ aka friends of the owner. Prepaid, aka locals who know they better buy in advance or they will end up in the dreaded (what we didnβt know) third line, people who need to pay to get in. The second line was huge and the pay line was very short. We thought that was cool until we were standing there for a good 30 minutes and noticed they werenβt letting anyone from the pay line in. Then when we asked we found out the pay line wasnβt going to get serviced until the other lines (which were constantly refreshing) were empty. So we waited an hour to pay $25 each. Once inside it was so packed you couldnβt move. There were huge lines for drinks, bathrooms, and going upstairs. We ended up leaving without enjoying the place at all. If you go buy tickets in advance and donβt go when itβs that busy unless you love paying $25 to stand in lines.
Be careful when buying tickets in advance. Sometimes they dont ask for tickets and let people get to the party for free. They wont give you a refund if you already paid for it though. What is the point of offering tickets ahead and not checking them?
Itβs definitely a must go! One of the best gay nightclubs in Manhattan!! Extremely fun and unique. Love the vibe, lots of hot guys and the staff is really nice. Different type of music on each floor which is awesome.
I was at the Q last night to celebrate a friendβs birthday. We were having fun and the show βSeven Deadly Sinsβ was great. In order to order drinks I paid with my credit card and asked the guy to leave the tab open so we can keep ordering. After the show we want to go downstairs to 2nd floor so we can continue partying so I asked the bartender which is totally a different guy for my credit card. He told me the he dont have my card and look for the freaking previous bartender because he has it. Me dumbfounded and had couple of drinks stupidly followed him and went to 1st floor, 2nd floor and back to 3rd floor looking for the guy which I dont really know because all bartender seems to be same. I went back to him and told him βI DONT KNOW THE GUY! I DONT EVEN REMEMBER HIS NAME! He realized I was ready to cause a scene so he asked for my name and without moving grab my card underneath the counter which he knows from the beggining its there. Another guy started summing up my bill and I paid without giving a tip. I have never experienced this stupid service. If you will change a bartender atleast endorse the cards you have. Not freaking ask the customer to look for 3 floors/every corner of the bar for the bartender who initially took it! Very stupid and dumb people!
Not bad, but youre paying $17 for a vodka redbull, which they serve you in a tiny plastic cup. They dont even give you the rest of the redbull you paid for, essentially throwing half of it out. Wasteful and disrespectful. The staff here is great - that is a management decision.
The Q gets my vote for the most overwhelming gay club experience in Hells Kitchen--for better or for worse. Its huge, with multiple stories, and it can be a lot of fun, but its best to go when youre plastered with a group of friends. Despite a cover, this place also gets extremely packed, so much so that getting around can be next to impossible (like the top dance floor) but there are definitely some gorgeous guys running around here that it just might be worth it.
Was really fun until I got my wallet stolen here. I told security and most of the security staff was very helpful, even let me check the cameras with them but then the manager staff came and said they didnt have time for this and basically told me they couldnt do anything. I know another person got their wallet and phone stolen and two other people got their wallets stolen. Sad the manager staff doesnt seem to care about safety.
Not the best Ive experienced. 3 floors with different music and vibe but they all fall short of providing great club-dancing experience. My visit was during a QAF Saturday.
EDIT 1/16/23: This place has gone downhill ever since it came to light that one of the owners allegedly exhibited transphobic, racist, and predatory behavior with no repercussions whatsoever. Theyve made some interesting changes, but you couldnt pay me to go back.ORIGINAL: Worth the tickets. Theyβve got a rotation of guest DJs and a dedicated light tech. Drinks are expensive but worth the 5 hours of dancing youβll do on the top floor. Also there was a DJ in the bathroom and I canβt get over that haha!
Cool vibes and a multi-level venue with a dance floor for just about every taste and desire. Incredible interiors and awesome DJs that make the experience feel fun. Its great to have a new queer bar addition to NYC.Do be warned though, the drinks in this bar are EXPENSIVE. A vodka soda will set you back about $15 -- and thats for bottom shelf vodka.
I live in New York and this is not my first time visiting βThe Qβ but it will definitely be my last. This city is rightfully known for its nighlife, and with so many options, why would anyone go to a place where they have no respect for the customers and they think they can do whatever they want?First of all, security is extremely rude and last night, the bouncer on the 2nd floor entered in a heated discussion with one of my friends because he was on the phone and didnβt hear him say thereβs $5 dollars cover. Second, service is not great but yesterday it was unbelievably bad. After messing up my drink order, one of the bartneders even found appropriate to question me about not leaving 20% tip, which is standard for restaurants. In NYC bartneders usually expect $1 tip for every drink they serve you and letβs not forget that after all, tipping is totally optional.Save your time and go somewhere you will actually have a good time with your friends. The Rise and Industry are good options and theyβre jjust couple of blocks away!
First floor in general is great. I loved the DJs on all floors. Even the flooding bathroom had a live DJ.You need tickets. The bartenders were all lovely drinks are alright but pricy for HK. 2nd floor had a room Id have loved to party in but it had no A/C. 3rd floor is cool. The bathroom situation sucks if your crew is on the 3rd floor.
Great bar, definitely a vibe. The venue is a little small even though there are three floors, but its different which i like. It dies get very crowded after 12am and youll be on line for a while before getting into the bar. Otherwise, a great spot to party
Its pretty funny how this spot was bashed about lack of diversity, yet has a Latin night yesterday with drag performers who instead of being entertaining rather insult BIPOC as they leave because their show was lackluster. Thankfully I only gave a dollar which Id gladly take back. And to the Boulee gal, Do better and get tipped better.
The bald security guard was especially rude. It ruined my night and left us with a really bad feeling. It was because we didnt feel comfortable just handing our phones to him rather than show him the covid card on our phones. He was not happy and was extremely mean about everything. My fiancΓ©e and I came with two platinums ready for bottle service, we feel weird ever coming back.
I come here from NJ for one reason only; seeing the most handsome guy in earth. I came here first time last year and I noticed the hottest guy ever in the club (black hair/black beard and fit) , I asked the bartnder at that time and he told me he is just customer but I always seeing him there ! Always when I see him make my night worth it, I believe the Q should hire him, most people always looking at him, tonight I want it to have fun with him but I was scared, though enjoyed seeing him in darkroom getting s###ed by literally everyone
Racist staff. Admission and drinks are way too expensive. Sad that a once fun place turned into such a disaster due to poor ownership and the inability to keep good management
Honestly this is one of the only clubs I actually enjoy. Always great dancing, the multiple floors and rooms with different music are fun to bounce around between. Drinks are reasonable for a NYC club. Thursday nights are the best.
We just came in New York one week and been there 3 days in the week (because its free). That was ALWAYS fun and a cool night. At the opposite of all the comment below we found the staff really cool and respectful.Cant wait to go back :)
Good place to be kidnapped, drugged, and killed. Police wonβt investigate at all your disappearance. If you wanna go missing and die in bones go here there is a serial killer on the loose. Welcome to the 1970βs
Racist as hell! I get not wanting ghetto riff raff in a club but this place is just shamelessy racist. They should take all of those damn pride colors down because this sorry excuse for a nightclub does not represent this community. They already have a pending lawsuit against them as I type this comment. And anyway...you know New York gay nightlife went straight to s*** if spot like this is willing to sellout members of their own community to allow drunken skinny straight white b****es who couldnt give two s***s about gay men of ANY race. Those Karens are NOT your friends! And youre obviously gonna have to learn this the HARD way. And after everything gays of all colors and nationalities have been through (including Pulse Nightclub in 2016), its pretty f**ked up that the owners and management of this establishment would go so boldly far as be racist toward members of their own community while simultaneously selling out to every Rebecca, Madison, and Sara Jessica Parker in the g*dd**n city. Its foolishness! And theyll wind up just like XL Nightclub did for such corrupt practices. PERIOD!
A high energy bar with multiple floors and DJs. The party was electric and had good mixes and a healthy sprinkling of crowd pleasing classics. The drinks where strong and totally not the point of the experience, and honestly, if you are coming here specifically for the drinks, you are doing it wrong
The venue is real awesome and reminds me of Ultrabar in DC cuz of the multi-floor different music theme. The crowd was small but real PO$H when i went in cuz there was a cover charge of $20 although for DC thatβs a regular. Apparently cover charges are not common in NYC and locals hated it. I would definitely visit again when Iβm back to NYC tho.
Absolutely disrespectful staff/management. In a rain storm after spending $25 per person (group of 6 people) for pre-ticketing βno wait lineβ, they had us wait outside for 25 minutes in poring rain. After waiting 25 minutes, we got inside and it was practically empty!! The disrespect was atrocious!!
The vibes would have been great except for one staff number with a beard that was going up and yelling at random people all night. I found out his name is Moses. Management needs to investigate because The Q was not a safe space last night.
Instinct Magazine did a story on this place, exposing their racist policy, specifically quoting an owner in their motives to deter blatinos and other POC, anyone who looks like theyre from the Bronx, and making it comfortable for white people. There was a whole lawsuit. Read the article and dont give them business.
Came here for a fun time, bought some drinks for friends and was charged a 200 dollar tip. Tried getting this resolved but the phone line was not even working!. Extremely disappointment, would rather go to lower manhattan were shows are not appalling like this place.
Good vibe but too overpriced. $25 entry fee and $40 for 2 small drinks in small plastic cups.A friend of mine got her phone stolen as well as other people.
The staff is so rude. I felt discriminated being at this club. I left my jacket at the coat rack and couldnβt find my Airpods. Donβt really have manners to treat people and especially the lady at checkins was so rude. Iβd never recommend this place for an outsider, since the staff donβt know how to behave, they bullied us.
When you come to a new place. inside which is empty. and the white nose raised up on the street says sold out. guys, good luck. it will be useful to you. except Friday and Saturday, there are other days. and on those two days [Friday&Saturday] there is plenty of choice in NYC and in your area. old and kind places. ... hold on tight. and let the that witheTra$h one dollar for learn good manners for the Queen on the street. writhes? -it doesnt work like that
The service was unpleasant and arrogantMe and my friend arrived at 2.20am, asked to wait, we showed our id and proof of vaccination and got asked $20 to get in for an hour left of fun!Definitely do not suggest this place (at least on a weekend)
DJ Vescovo killed the house music game in the Speaqeasy room. Give him some time in the Disqo room ;) Would love to see more of a deep/tribal house vibe to distinguish this place from the same music we hear at other gay bars. Overall great energy from everyone here. Put this place at the top of your list for a fun night out in Manhattan.
Bouncers and security are rude and arrogant and the drinks are extremely overpriced. I see several other people mentioned the same issues in their reviews. I wonder does this place even read them?? Theyβre definitely losing business.
Iβve tried so hard to like this place. But itβs going to be a no from me.This place has consistently had an identity crisis. Choose any other gay bar in NYC and youβll have a much better experience.
It was our first time here after a friend recommended it. Wednesday night was so much fun, live Dj, great ambience NYC. Will be returning next Wednesday night!
Big space, fun vibes. But VERY expensive. $12 for a vodka soda and thereβs always cover on the weekend. Not sure why it has become so expensive to be gay nowadays.
Staff member Moses was bullying my friend and other patrons without any reason. No need for policing our community, we already experience that violence without establishments that enable the violence even more.
I was in the bathroom I loved all the music but I dont know who he was if the manager or something but he spoke to me very ugly I think I shouldnt be in this place if its homophobic
They kicked my sister out who does not speaks English! We were dancing and a female security guard tried to take my sister out of the club, my sister was not understanding what was going, so when I asked this girl why, she just said cause she needed to leave. When we got to the door then she started hitting my sis in the face!!!! We ended up in the hospital!! See pictures attached!! Do not recommend it!
Q Nycee taxes is very professional and organized. They received all of my information and responded to any questions that I had. They emails me all if my paper work and I received my money fast with no problems
Went here once for an event. Some weirdo guy was touching my friend inappropriately and thereβs been crimes associated with this club. Stay away.
Bottom of the barrel. All of the 5 stars are either workers, owners, or friends of the workers or owners. Please dont bother. Go to Hush. Youve been warned.
Good music, plenty of space, nice diverse crowd, had a blast. One tip definitely get tickets in advance if possible.
The place has really gone downhill from the start. The bouncers and security are rude, theres been a ring of people stealing cellphones and it just doesnt feel very safe there.
It is very interesting that there is a difference of 1 dollar and 10 cents between the same order I placed with an interval of 1 hour.
I went there and I was on the line and it was kind of cold out sid so I asked the security how long Im gonna be waiting on the line he said there is people important than you so this mad disrespectful he doesnt even want to talk to me and he just kicked me out for no reason
CUTE place to party for Halloween. 2 stars for charging me $30 for a tequila soda lime. Mostly lime and soda.
They charge a cover unlike most NYC bars and the AC wasnβt even working in some of the rooms we left after 20 minutes it was so hot and miserable.
Drinks are served in small plastic cups and very expensive. The music wasnβt the best and the bartender wasnβt very nice either
Got robbed here. Even before that the night sucked - bouncers were rude and drinks watered down.
Me and my friend were literally roofied here by a bartender. Thankfully we had two other friends there, which the bartender wasnβt aware of. Donβt know what wouldβve happened if they werenβt there with us.
Terrible music and even more terribly priced drinks. Plenty of other gay bars around here to go have a great time.
Insanely expensive, I paid a lot for small drinks served in a plastic cupβ¦ just like a splash of spirit mixed with some club sodaβ¦ plus tipsβ¦.
This places does not exist. Do not go there.
Amazing base, killed the dance floor Friday night thank you guys. The sweetest bar tenders and beautiful dancers
Good bones but weird layout, the dance floor is poorly laid out and on the third floor, feels claustrophobic and hazardous.
I hate it. Rude staff, expensive and bad drinks. house crowded to the point of not being able to move inside.
Very crowded, I donβt see the point of buying a ticket for their βeventβ, the main difference is AC.
The owners are bigots who force the staff to discriminate against women, people of color, and trans people. Stay away.
CLOSED PERMANENTLY. BLOWS MY MIND HOW SAME COMPANY/GROUP OF PPL OWNS SO MANY GAY VENUES IN THE CITY
This business has permanently closed do to on going lawsuit it closed down on March 27th 2023 and no new events are happening at all.
D I S G U S T I N GDonβt even think about going there. Itβs dirty and smells so bad. So disappointing. Clearly another place which will not survive!
Free water at the second floor in the Latin room tastes so weird that it upsets my friendβs and my stomach!!
Terrible! We have added our name in the list and when we got there the list doesnt exist. Morocos was terrible as well.
Coat check stole my Moncler jacket and management has been unwilling to respond or help β would definitely not recommend this place.
Went in for one drink after a show and had my wallet stolen - shady people. Avoid at all costs
They shouldnβt change that much money for tickets and have that disgusting customer service
Charging you entrance fee at the door and then there is a huge line in the upper floor you literally canβt believe. Not worth it!
Loved this space. Drag show was awesome. Really fun. Great vibe.
Best New Club/Bar in NYC. Definitely the best place to go in Hells Kitchen now.
I loved the music, and they had different floors with different vibes, it was amazing π
Itβs not worth your money. Free bars are better and better entertainment. Never sold out
Best place to dance the night off. Great DJs but pricey drinks
Not safe for bipoc. White and Latino only the bouncer said. π€£
Sheβs closed permanently!!!
The layout is uncomfortable because itβs narrow. Music was alright.
Not polite at all and they get you out if you dont drink enough
You pay 30$ for entrance and then wait for 30-40 minutes In the line to get in, then other 30 minutes to get from one floor to other
HEADS UP!! THE Q IS SHUT DOWN!! THE HOURS HAVE NOT BEEN UPDATED!!
Save your time and money. Research the lawsuit. This is not a safe space for the Queer community.
This place is very welcoming... Like being hit by a car.
I really like this place. It has a fun, frisky vibe.
Such a fun LGBTQ+ space with very friendly management
The music was terrible, the drinks weak and the place impossible to navigate.
Staff = rudeDrinks = baadMusic = poor
What a waste of time, not a single aspect worth highlighting. Avoid at all costs!
Drinks are expensive. However, the club is great.
Your typical night club. Enjoyable visit.
Think I got roofied last Monday night.
Great music. Great vibes, must go
My second home, my best place π
Frankie only produces the best experiences!
Excellent music always & cute boys
Best place to be any night of the week!
Was fun! Love it.
Security is extremely rude and disrespectful.
Great club but rude staff
Place overcharged me 300 dollars
I loved.

Good place with several areas with different atmosphere and music. However, the attitude of the staff is horrible: arrogant, aggressive, rude. If you go out to smoke you must wait in line for 45 minutes again. When they complained, they became very aggressive.Horrible, not recommended. And for the price of the ticket and the drink they could already make an effort to treat their clientele better.Never again.
I had intended to go to a party on Friday, October 29 because they had told me very well about the club. After waiting in line for 1 hour and with the rain I managed to pay for my ticket. What is my surprise when the girl who checks my vaccination certificate tells me that I cant enter because I only have one dose. I try to explain that I am Spanish and in my country people who have had Covid only have one dose applied, since according to the Spanish Government they have a certain immunity. Therefore, if Astrazeneca has two doses, only one is applied to us (1/1). And I repeat by mandate of the Spanish Government. The girl was rude and didnt let me explain the circumstances, I tried to talk to another girl and the same thing until they called the security guard to kick me out. This attitude is regrettable. I felt helpless because I couldnt make them understand what was happening. First of all, they have to find out the specifications of the vaccination certificates for foreigners because they are not the same as those of the United States. It seemed like discriminatory treatment to me and they should have at least contrasted the information and been more empathetic.
The place is very good, spacious and with several areas with different styles of music, but the staff (especially the girls who control access) are aggressive, rude and very rude. Not to return given the existing offer in the city.
A super diverse place, I love that it has about 5 rooms, its spectacular because there is all kinds of music and I loved that I went on my birthday and DJ Diego was super attentive and played music in Spanish!! I had a great time! I would go again for sure
Great atmosphere, fun and music. Nice service. I recommendGreat atmosphere, fun and music. Nice service. I recommend
Friendly staff nice place and several LGBT floorsGood location
