Red Eye NY

Love this venue. It’s huge. Two floors. Great sound. The door staff is nice as are the bartenders. I’ve been a few times for the Madonna events. Espresso martinis are really good but dear lord they are potent!! Great espresso!!!

Came in here for coffee one afternoon while on vacation. The bartender was super nice and the coffee was great. The bartender was fun to talk with and offered tons of ideas of things to do and places to go. Will definitely come back here next time Im in town. Will try to check it out during the night next time.

Went for the pride kick off party. . DJ was wack.... I left and came back an hour later, hoping things had changed. Such a waste of $30 cover. By 2 am everyone got fed up, and the place was basically empty. .. I would love to return at some other time though, the space is nice. Seems pretty chill. Never heard of this place until now. Bartenders were great.

Was in from out of town, wanted to check it out but tbh a cash only cover with no ATM or recommendation for one in the block (or square/Venmo/something?) feels pretty out of date. Don’t want to blame the bar for what one party promoter told me, but having at least an atm on site or knowing the nearest would go a long way

Fantastic bar and excellent vibes! The bar tenders especially are incredible and sweet as can be! The music and energy had me dancing all night! Looking forward to my next trip here.

I visited RedEye NYC on Friday, February 23rd, and entrusted my jacket to the coat check service provided. Unfortunately, due to an error by the coat check attendant, my jacket went missing. This left me exposed to the cold weather without any protection, a situation that was both uncomfortable and avoidable.Despite this incident, the response from the staff was notably indifferent. My attempts to seek assistance and recover my jacket were met with a lack of concern. Moreover, the absence of direct communication channels, such as a contact phone number, has only compounded my frustration, leaving me with no recourse to follow up on my missing item.This experience has been both unacceptable and unprofessional. It reflects poorly on the venue’s management of customer belongings and their response to customer grievances. I would appreciate a prompt and constructive response from RedEye NYC, addressing this matter and outlining the steps being taken to return my winter jacket. Customer trust is paramount, and I hope to see this situation resolved in a manner that upholds the standards of service and accountability.

I went to a book debut party here and really liked the place. Would definitely like to go back on a regular night. Nice bar, clean bathrooms, perfect dirty martini, I’m very picky about this particular cocktail so getting it right is pretty awesome! Staff were. Friendly. Looks like they have a variety of entertainment.

Reviewing “Men Of Legends” for a bachelorette party…. Not sure how a gay bar is letting an event like this happen in their space….. we came here with a mixed group of lgbtq people/straight women for a bachelorette thinking there would be a performance like Magic Mike / chippendales / etc…. Instead of any performance or any catering to an lgbtq audience, straight women were aggressively manhandled on the stage… not fun, not cute, not a good performance, should not have any place in an lgbtq venue (or any venue unless whoever is on stage has explicitly agreed to it).

I came during the day, when its a cafe. Its nice inside, and the pumpkin spice latte was really good.

What an absolutely lovely surprise this spot is!!! I dont make it up here much anymore, and for a coffee (or an early drink on a rainy miserable day), Red Eye is a literal shining light nestled beside Port Authority. Located inside a historic, bright red building, the area is odd but once you are inside its like stepping through a portal. Safe, fun, highly caffenated; I cant wait to be back!

Yikes! This was the most unwelcoming place, ever. First of all, its at a super sketchy location at Port Authority. Ive lived in NYC for years and avoid this block at all cost because I value my life and my wallet. As a gay man, I walked in wanting to support the new place and didnt know what to expect. I was met with a rude gruff door-woman who barked its sold out! I nicely said, Oh, theres a show back there? I though maybe it was the club area ...Its our first time here, sorry. We would have stayed for a few drinks each at the front bar area BUT the bartender was mean af and literally laughed at us for suggesting bar stools for a place to sit and some music. HUH? Ive worked as a bartender and even on my worst day, I wouldnt have sneered at someone like that. We then went and spent $100+ on drinks at the many other, safe, friendly bars in the HK area up by 46th Street.

Great service and fantastic sound system. Our event wasn’t particularly good but that was not the fault of the venue. They were on top of their game!

The place was very pleasant, the interior temperature was correct for the cold it was outside.The staff is very friendly and attentive at all times.It is located in a strategic and central area.
