I’m not one to usually do reviews, but I really felt the need to in this case.Do not waste your money if you’re interested in Gel x and or even Acrylic.My nails felt flimsy and cheap right after getting them done. The shaping was completely off. And some of the French tip design was wonky.These were the worst nails I’ve ever gotten. All for a whopping $100 dollars.I should’ve walked out the moment I sat down in an empty salon with 3.8 reviews but I really needed my nails done. Plus I was hoping since it was a basic french tip I wouldn’t have to worry. That was not the case here. 6 days later, 2 of my nails came completely off. A third one was kind of loose. I went back and they only fixed the two that came off. It is now barely a week since I got my nails done, and another one fell off.Stick to a basic manicure if you decide to come here.

Jenny was great! Got a regular pedicure/ gel manicure and they came out phenomenal. Reasonably priced as compared to many nail salons in the city. 70 total! My stressful day was absolutely turned around. Thank you!

Overall I’d rate this experience a 7/10, the nails where cute and the lady who did my nails (Heidi?) was very lovely. Even though they weren’t 100% like my reference picture (which my usual nail tech is able to do) I left the store happy. Very lovely, quiet, and hygienic place. I was kinda desperate/in a rush so I decided to not contemplate the 120$ plus tip charge, but it kinda was slightly pricier considering the only two colors where Black&White.

The staff were very nice, but the manicure was terrible. I got gel, and left with very unevenly shaped nails, bubbles, and uneven polish. It started chipping in 3 days. Huge waste of money :(

I love this salon. It is very clean with instruments in sterile packaging. The staff is lovely and very accommodating. I was I was able to go while working with no appt. I highly recommend.

Will not go back.. the base color is whole different than my reference picture. It looks better from far but up close looks like I put a fake nails.. these are week old and already looks 4-5 week old

I would never come to this salon again. I called in the morning to see if they could help me take off my acrylics and have a polish put on and the lady on the phone said yes. I walked in and they helped me but then the woman taking off my acrylics tried using a dirty metro card to take one of them off. I could dont that myself.The problem I have completely have is that after she had buffed my nails prior to putting on the polish she made me go pay. I am not one to be easily upset by anything especially nail related because I have been getting my nails done every 2-3 for the past 12 years. I have never heard of this and it completely lacks any tact and taste.

Absolutely love getting my nails done here, I work a few blocks away and always look forward to getting my nails done now. The location is super clean and relaxing. I always get GelX and Gel pedi and my nails stay looking fresh and healthy for so long. The quality of products is great and the women there are always very kind and the atmosphere is relaxing.

I rated them a 2 because they were friendly and worked with me with choosing multiple colors for my nails but I came in for a fill and spent over $70 on nails I didnt like. I asked multiple times for them to fix/straighten the shape of my nails and eventually got tired of asking but I hate the way they look and theyre honestly the worst shaped nails Ive ever gotten.I also was confused about a promotional gift card deal they had going on. I didnt realize I couldnt use the gift card towards my current service or even tip with the gift card but even after letting them know I was just visiting and wouldnt be returning, they still tried to sell me the gift cards.Anyway, you can see in my pictures below the inconsistency of my nails, the crooked shapes, the lumps and everything. I was extremely disappointed with my service and will not be returning.

I love coming here for both manicures and pedicures. Everyone is super nice and my nails always look good at the end of my visit. Will always come back! :)

Super nice but if you don’t know how to shape or file then you shouldn’t advertise it because my nails looks horrible and it was $75 which I could’ve gone some where else for a better price because these nails look like my 6 year son did them.

Went there to schedule an appointment for a gel pedicure and the asian lady told me that its $48+10$ tip. Huge turn off as she cannot mandate me the amount of the tip!! Horrible experience.

Excellent foot massage, really good pedi, very nice staff. I recommend the reflexology pedicure with extra 10 minute massage (290 min total).

Great spot near my office. I go every couple weeks for a manicure and have done both gel and regular. They are quick and the mani lasts well!

I used to love this place . Last friday git a pedicure and sns powder on my natural nails. The pedicure was great but my nails are horrible . They looked ok but one broke later that evening , then another and another not to mention the chips . Ive been getting nails done for months this was the worst job . The crack and chips and now broken nails . I will only come for my toesFrom now on .

My visit to this nail salon was disappointing. The nail technician, I think her name was Sally, handled the gel removal and manicure with no polish in an excessively rough manner. I even said ouch because she hurt me, but she didnt seem to care. Her evident frustration, expressed through audible sighs and frustrated comments in another language, added an unpleasant atmosphere. Will not come again

Got powder dip nails here and the color did not match to their swatch at all! They told me that it was due to color under the nail but it was clearly another color. Then my powder nails did not even last a week when they generally last until removal! Horrible experience and don’t know why they have great reviews.

This is My second time coming here. I will only return for a pedicure by Rosie! My nails look horrible for 85 plus tax. I said to Lisa oval shape not too long for tips and dip powder acrylic, while clipping it didn’t look very short but the final result my nails look stumpy and awful. Yes my nail bed is short but isn’t this the purpose of a nail tech which is to ensure the finished product looks like real elongated nails. Lisa consistently does an unfinished job my nails were dirty from the filing behind, i had to ask her clean up my edges and the back of my nails, the owner had clean them up. She was rushing as if she had to leave doing my nails improperly while standing while I’m doing my pedicure. Only to see she finished quickly to end up folding towels. I was so uncomfortable and overly stimulated by everything going on on my feet and that stupid electric nail file which I hate only to end up with an awful job done, I do not recommend her for extensions.

I love this nail salon. The staff is warm & friendly. My mani/pedi always looks good. Their price point is more than fair. I’m treated so well. I won’t go anywhere else when in New York. The best!!!

Decided to get fresh nails after being in Manhatthan late one evening. Upon entering, I was greeted and seated before a nail technician. She was beyond warm and sweet. She did a fine job and she communicated with me about my likes / dislikes as she performed. The environment was quiet and relaxing to the extent that I fell asleep a few times. Regular gel nails were $40, quite affordable. Left the sweet lady a $10 tip!

The lady who did my nails and the manager where so nice. I paid $55 with a $20 tip in cash. I had a chrome gel manicure done today but I’m so sad it is already chipping and I haven’t done anything to it. I have an event tomorrow so I have to find another place to redo it.

Had a great experience. Did a pedicure with a scrub, hot stone massage, shoulder massage, callous treatment, and the whole effect. Was great! Great price ($65 for this luxury pedi) for a great value!

Disappointing manicure on every level. She absolutely destroyed the shape of my nails - extra upsetting because the shape was already good from the gel I just removed. After quickly and abrasively shaping them down, each nail was completely uneven- not straight and different lengths. (Unclear why she was so rushed when the place was pretty empty.) I finally just asked her to cut them short and go back to square with rounded edges. I had to request several times to please file and buff the edges - they’re still rough and I pulled my sweater with 2 different nails already.Also, my cuticles are a rough mess and there’s color all over my cuticles— but honestly, I had to cut my losses because the entire experience was so frustrating. I used to come here loyally when it was Black Label, the service and quality have fallen off a cliff. On my way to get a new manicure down the block.

Nails are already falling apart and I got a powder manicure like eight days ago.

I went to this nail salon and received dip powder nails. The manager was kind from the beginning but when she let another tech take over she was really rude. I was dissatisfied with the nail shape and thought it looked flat and too thick. I was afraid that it would crack prematurely (which it did after 7 days). Whenever I get dip powder it should last at least a month. As the nail tech was doing my nails I tried to voice myself but whenever I would make a comment she made me feel as if I was dumb. I stopped making comments and just let her work and she could tell that I was not happy. She made snark comments and even said “ well you shouldn’t have done 3 layers” as if I was the one doing my own nails when it was her manager from the beginning. At that moment I felt like crying because I felt like a had no control. Now days later what I feared what would happen happened. Not even a full week and my nails are already cracking. :(

Went in for nail tips and powder, the technician didn’t want to do it conventionally (It was my first time at the salon so I followed her advice) she instead used nail repair powder and 3 different strongly smelling chemicals (I couldn’t read the labels but one was definitely nail glue) the fumes from these chemicals reacted whilst on my nails and started to smoke causing whatever it was to ignite and burn my fingers in the process. No apology, instead blamed my fingernails for being too thin! I can only imagine what she was using!I will definitely not go again. I have held a regular nail appointments for over 15 years (the only reason I left my salon was due to moving away) and never had such a dangerous and bizarre experience! To top it off the nails shattered and only lasted 5 days. Total waste of time and money! God knows what it’s done to my nails! Don’t risk it!!

This spot has great service and the technicians are 5-stars. The only reason I’m rating it 4, it’s because it’s a little pricey.They have a special for regular mani-pedi for $40. I got a regular pedi and gel manicure and they charged me $70 + tips. There is no sign with the prices for you to compare or to know prices.I would totally be back but not for gel manicure.

Jackie and Eugene are amazing. I had a wait and Eugene was so apologetic. Jackie gave was funny and gave me an azing reflexology massage. 4 stars because its a little pricey paint skill were okay. But overall everything was amazing. Thank you. I have new feet. If you come and have rough feet, get the callous treatment, you will not be dissappoint and your significant other will love you for it. 👍🏾

The atmosphere is lovely, the people working there seem to really get along which made the whole experience relaxing. i had the combo mani and pedi and was very satisfied with the experience. there’s a great range of colours. the pedi was the nicest i’ve ever had. the place is very clean and pays attention to customers in every aspect. would definitely return!

I liked their customer service. They were very nice. They even used cool liquid wax to seal after the pedicure. However I felt my heels was barely scrubbed. My feet were still too rough after the pedicure.

After switching offices, I needed a clean and quick nail salon in midtown. I started going here after it was mentioned by a coworker, and it was fine for a few weeks. Not sure what happened, but now every time I go, I have to literally take the nail file and even out my nails after the technician butchers them. They filed them so crooked (numerous times with different technicians), I was confused at what she was looking at as she filed. Then they threw on this scrub, but they dont actually scrub my hands. One woman was so rough when it came time to stand up, walk over to the sink, and wash it off, which is such an inconvenience btw. There has to be a better process for that. Im unsure why I kept going back, but Im always hoping it will be different. Over it.

The pedicure legit had orbeez in it my feet were covered in jelly. Then , it took 2 hours for them to do my manicure , even though i had an appointment. The dip polish was so clumpy, they left it so thick and the colors they show are misleading and not accurate once on your nails.

This was my second and the last time there. Spa was half empty, plenty of space and time. Natali did my mani-pedi. I came home with the left toe not cut/filed properly so a piece of nail in the middle just felt of after 10 minutes. And it is not because my nails are weak, nope - I have very good, hard nails. The right toe was cut too much and started hurting in its corner immediately after 5 min of walking. When I visited this spa before, Rozy did my mani-pedi and she was so good. A perfect service. Also, last time the owner was there and she herself helped me to put on the shoes and dress up my coat. Those girls today-nothing, despite a very nice tip. I guess there was no owner and then they just do not care. I would not recommend it and would never go back again.

Toe nails were messy and some of the gel finger nails chipped and peeled within 48 hours. Ive no doubt theyd have corrected if Id returned, but visiting New York for just a few days, I couldnt waste the time. Unimpressed. Save your money.

Best Neighborhood nail salon. I went in 10 minutes to closing today and they let me in. All staff are good at what they do. Highly recommend.

Got a dip powder mani from Rosy--the best! Its thin-not globbed on thick-and well done! The selection of colors isnt anything to brag about but for me the technique is important. I will be coming back!

Normally this place is amazing but they treated my so poorly and rushing me out the door. Causing me to have a bloody nail. Unsure if I plan on giving them my business anymore.

The best spot for my nail and pedi.They give a quick services with sophisticated techniques.I did my gel nail and spa pedi, my gel nail keeps last 3 weeks more. I love this place.

I got a gel mani from Vicki and she did a fantastic job; I asked for rounded and natural which she did, and it only took 30 minutes. My new spot for certain.

They had actually had no idea what they were doing. My nails are sticky and lumpy. Truly look terrible. The thing is they knew they were messing up and just did not care.

Got a pedicure here and the customer service is awesome! They even threw in a shoulder rub while my polish was drying. Awesome!

There arent too many nail salons in the neighborhood. So glad Black Label is here. Management always tries hard to give you a good experience.

Wouldnt recommend. Came here for a gel manicure and within 24 hours 3 nails had just peeled off whole, even after I went back to get 1 fixed when it first came off.

My daughter went in for an eyebrow wax and received 2nd degree burns. She returned to get her money back and an apology. They all ran away.Stay away from this place!

The place is very nice. I dont come as often as my wife, but the manicure / pedicures are great when I get them.

My manicure chipped as soon as I left and looked terrible less than a week later. It looked good for maybe a day... I was very disappointed.

Nothing better in the neighborhood. Its not just another nail salon. They do cater to their customer.

I just walked in during my lunch hour and they toke me in. It was pretty full but they are able to accommodate alot of people.
